Twilight and Comet approached a large house.

"This is the place." Said Comet tail. "My old home."

"Lets go meet your parents then." Said Twilight.

Comet tail knocked on the front door.

"Coming!" Said a feminine voice.

The door opened and a unicorn mare with a light blue coat, a bluish mane, glasses, and a green star for a cutie mark stood in the doorway.

"Comet." Said the Mare. "Its been so long."

"Too long mom." Said Comet tail.

Comet tail gave his mother a quick hug. After they broke the hug, Comet Tail's mother turned to look at Twilight.

"You must be Twilight."

The mare extended her hoof towards Twilight.

"I'm Evening Star, Star for short."

Twilight shook her hoof.

"Its a pleasure to meet you." Said Twilight.

Star gestured towards the front door.

"Please come in."

The three unicorns stepped into the house as Star closed the door behind them.

"Wheres dad?" Asked Comet Tail.

"He's upstairs making adjustments to his Telescope." Replied Star.

Star walked towards a nearby staircase.

"Honey! Comet just arrived!" Yelled Star.

Moments later the sound of hoof steps was heard heading down the stairs.

"Here he comes." Said Star.

Twilight and Comet Tail looked at the staircase. A yellow unicorn stallion with an orange mane, a mustache, and a sextant with a star behind it for a cutie mark walked down the stairs towards them.

"Comet!" Said the Stallion.

The stallion opened his front hooves wide.

"Give your father a hug!"

Comet tail hugged his father.

"Geez, last time I saw you was about....... Too long." Said the Stallion.

"Nice to see you too dad." Said Comet tail.

They ended their hug.

"Nova, this is Twilight." Said Star, gesturing to Twilight. "The mare Comet told us about in his letters."

Nova chuckled to himself.

"So your the lucky mare."

Twilight blushed lightly.

"Come on." Said Star. "I got dinner waiting."

Nova led Comet and Twilight down the hallway.

The four unicorns sat at the dinner table, making small talk while eatting.

"So your a librarian Twilight?" Asked Star.

"Yes I am." Replied Twilight. "I run the library in Ponyville, but I'm sure Comet mentioned that in his letters."

Comet tail levitated a fork-full of salad into his mouth.

"Must be a tough job running that library by yourself." Said Nova.

"Well I have my assistant Spike to help me." Said Twilight.

"That baby mutant iguana who burnt Comet's slippers?" Asked Nova.

Comet tail swallowed and cleared his throat.

"He's a dragon dad." Said Comet Tail. "And that was an accident. I didn't know he had sneezing powder."

"Right..... Dragon."

Twilight raised an eyebrow. Comet tail moved his head closer to Twilight to whisper something to her.

"Sorry, my dad does not like dragons that much."

Twilight nodded and took and ate some of her salad.

"So Comet." Began Star. "What about you? Do you have any friends in Ponyville, because you never mention any in your letters."

"Actually I do." Said Comet Tail. "Im friends with a couple stallions there. We usually go bowling or to a pub every week."

Twilight took a sip of water.

"He actually met his best friend Caramel from my friend Applejack." Said Twilight.

"Thats nice." Said Star.

Nova finished his salad.

"So Twilight, your parents live in Canterlot as well?"

"Their entire lives." Replied Twilight. "Dad runs a business and Mom teaches magic lessons."

"Ain't that something." Said Star. "I recently got my teaching degree. I just got a job teaching astronomy to mentally challenged unicorns."

"So do you have any big plans this week?" Asked Nova.

"We are going to a charity in a few days." Replied Comet Tail.

"Well don't forget to come by a couple times while your both up here." Said Star.

Twilight and Comet Tail walked down the dark sidewalk. The only sources of light were the street lamps and the full moon.

"I like your parents." Said Twilight. "They seem pretty intelligent."

Comet Tail smiled.

"Im glad to hear that." Said Comet Tail.

The couple bumped into a pair of ponies.

"Oh sorry."

The two ponies stood with surprise in their eyes.

"Comet?"

Comet Tail looked at the two ponies. The first was a grey pegasus stallion with a light grey sun for a cutie mark. The other was a pink unicorn mare with sparkles for a cutie mark. Comet Tail realized who they were.

"You two!" Said Comet Tail in an angry tone.

Twilight raised an eyebrow..

"Comet who are they?" asked Twilight.

Comet tail stepped in front of Twilight.

"Thats Grey Sky and Mystic Shine." Began Comet tail. "The two ponies who bullied you."

Twilight gasped in surprise.

"Your the two jerks who took Smarty pants!" Yelled Twilight.

Grey Sky took a step forwards.

"That was a long time ago Twilight." Said Grey Sky. "Believe me when I say that we are sorry."

Mystic Shine stepped forwards to join Grey Sky.

"It was wrong of us to pick on you...."

Twilight retained her anger, but Comet Tail was beginning to calming down.

"How can we know your telling the truth!?" Said Twilight.

Grey Sky sighed.

"Its a little late out for an explanation." Said Grey Sky.

Mystic Shine took out a small folded up piece of paper using magic.

"We're having brunch tomorrow." Said Mystic Shine. "You are more than welcome to join us. And heres our address."

Comet tail took the paper and put it away.

"We'll think it over." Said Comet Tail.

Twilight was a little taken back by Comet Tail's response.

"We will be at the Blue Bronco cafe at eleven o'clock." Said Grey Sky "I hope you accept our offer."

The two turned to leave.

"Nice seeing you two again."

They walked down the sidewalk, away from the two unicorns.

"Are you actually giving those two a chance?" Asked Twilight.

Comet Tail nodded.

"I am. Lets hear them out first."

Twilight groaned.

"Those two were bullying me awhile before you met them." Said Twilight. "Why should I give them another chance?"

Comet Tail sighed.

"You gave me a chance."

Twilight calmed down.

"I.... Well........ Its different."

"Lets go to brunch with them tomorrow." Said Comet Tail. "If they still seem like the same two ponies who tormented you, then we won't talk to them again."

Comet Tail gave Twilight a quick kiss on the lips.

"Alright........ But if they didn't change, I never want to see them again."

Comet Tail smiled.

"Atta girl." Said Comet Tail. "Now lets get back to the hotel and see if we can get any hot tub time in before bed."

Twilight looked at Comet Tail with a playful grin.

"Well lets go then."

They resumed their walking.

They walked into the hotel room to find a box of doughnuts on the kitchen counter.

"Spikes back." Said Twilight.

Twilight walked over to the box of doughnuts and saw Spike passed out on the couch, sprinkles and doughnut crumbs on his face.

"Must have been pretty tired." Muttered Twilight.

Twilight levitated the sleeping dragon onto her back.

"Start up the hot tub Comet, Im going to get Spike into his room."

Comet tail nodded and watched Twilight walk up the stairs.

"Hope the hot tub works." Thought Comet Tail.

Comet tail trotted towards the patio.

Grey Sky and Mystic Shine stepped into their penthouse.

"Comet actually bought it!" Said Grey Sky.

Mystic Shine giggled.

"We just need to get Twilight to buy it." Said Mystic Shine.

"We just have to be extra convincing tomorrow." Said Grey Sky.

Grey fluttered onto the couch.

"Then they can get whats coming to them."

Mystic Shine smirked.

"Big day ahead of us tomorrow." Said Mystic Shine. "Lets get some rest."
