Load Full StoryNext Chapter"Rainbow... I'm not so sure about this" Twilight said as she looked off of the edge of a cliff.
"Oh, don't be such a priss. This is how they teach you on the first day of flight school" Rainbow replied.
"Wasn't my first flight enough? Can't I just go back to the tree and practice hovering more." Twilight said as she again looked down the steep cliff.
"Come on, Twilight! Don't chicken out on me now." Rainbow egged on.
This pony is going to get me killed one day! Twilight thought to herself. She then slowly spread her wings, coiled her body like a spring, and jumped off the cliff. "Rainbow! I'm doing it!" Twilight shouted with glee as she glided slowly through the sky.
"Awesome, Twilight!" Rainbow shouted back, "Just don't look down."
"Don't worry I'm fi-" She was interrupted as she looked down. She doesn't exactly remember the next few seconds as total fear took control of her body. To everyone else, her wings snapped to her sides and she started falling like a rock. "RAINBOW! HELP ME!"
"Twilight! I'm coming for you!" I swear I should just stop saying 'don't look down' Rainbow cursed herself as she locked to an intercept coarse with the falling alicorn. For Twilight , the world was passing her by and her life flashed before her eyes. Something dense tackled her in the rib-cage, she was just able to see long enough to see Rainbow's fully extended wings then her eyes closed, she heard the sound of something impacting a tree, a mixed din of snapping bone and branches, and then all went black as she slipped into the hooves of Princess Luna.
