James died once. He fell out of a tree and broke his neck when he was younger but in a matter of seconds he came back to life. He had a gift and because of this he was abandoned at the circus and raised by Russian circus performers. After training for most of his life to perform he was forced leave the circus along with his foster parents when the portal to Equestria opened. Magical unicorns and flying pegasi became all the rage in the entertainment circuit. He and his family were out of a job and a way of life.

Our Story begins when James hits rock bottom and is about to return to his parents for help. He receives a letter from an old college mentor, inviting him to Equestria for a new job.

Can James keep up with his new job, and can he keep his darkest secret under control...
