Beep, beep, beep, beep

"Ugggghhh. No! Fuck off. Me wants the sleep."

Beep, beep, beep, beep

"FUCKING HELL! ALRIGHT!"

Crystal staggered out of his bed and walked over to his alarm clock, which was situated across the room. He always found that unless he had to get up to turn it off, he would just slip back into sleep. He slams his clenched fist down on top of the infernal device, silencing its beeping. Crystal sighed and went through his drawer to find his school clothes.

Crystal was a 15 year old living in a country town in Australia. He was a gamer to the bone and loved his beloved PC with all his heart. He didn't swear a lot and did not care a single bit about self image, so naturally his brown hair was always shaggy. He stood a good 183 cm and was one of the skinniest students in the school of over 1,300 students. He was a bisexual and always got picked on for that. But the teasing never phased him. In fact, he very rarely got angry at anything.

Crystal found his uniform and put it on along with his trademark hoodie. He packed all of his things into his school bag that he always carried. A fully charged Nintendo DSi and crappy laptop, along with a journal. He carried his journal with him not to record what happened during his day, but to write down things to remember. He had a horrible memory and quite often, he would get an idea or a thought and write it down in his journal.

Like all teenagers, Crystal had is secrets. But most of his secrets were much more impacting then others. Like for example, he has a-

"Crystal! You're gunna miss the fucking bus! Get your arse out of here!"

Crystal groaned and put his bag on his back.

"Yeah, dad! I'm going!"

Crystal walked out of his bedroom and entered the lounge room. His lazy father was sitting on the couch with a can of Bundaberg in his hand. Crystal's father was injured at work one day. He was a car tyre fitter, and he tried pumping a tyre full of air and got distracted. The tyre exploded and wrecked his arm. He now gets paid for not going to work until his arm gets fixed and he can return to work.

That was 30 years ago.

As Crystal passed his father, he grunted. Crystal waved back at him with an emotionless response.

"Bye, dad."

Crystal exited the house and closed the shabby wooden door behind him. Crystal hurdled over the fence and trekked down the street to the bus stop, which was roughly 4 minutes away. Crystal didn't like his father very much. At times, his father is the life of the party. Always making jokes and having a blast. But most of the time, due to his sore arm which remains unfixed, he is sour and cold. Crystal might like the fun version of his father, but that side of him didn't show up often.

As he approached the bus stop, Crystal leaned up against a tree and closed his eyes. He loved thinking whenever he was alone. Most commonly, he thought up different scenarios. Mainly how his life could change for the better. Don't mistake Crystal for an idiot, either. He fully understood that there are many people who have a life that isn't as good as his. Shelter, food, family and water. But that didn't change the fact that he didn't like his life.

The bus rolled up from around the corner and Crystal opened his eyes. The bus pulled up right next to him and the doors opened, revealing the driver. Crystal nodded at him and climbed aboard the bus. Crystal was the first stop of the bus, so no one else was on. He normally picked a seat in the middle, to avoid talking to people. The bus engine roared and the vehicle moved once again. As the bus was driving, Crystal pulled out his DSi and started up his Pokemon White 2 game. He opened his save file and began playing. He always played his games on the bus. He also likes to avoid talking to people. But playing on a DSi isn't the best way to go about doing that.

After three stops the bus comes to a halt at the next stop. Crystal hated the person who was about to board the bus. Then again, he hated a lot of people. Mainly because they are stupid or because they hate him for no reason. A big and muscled 14 year old wearing a Collingwood shirt climbed aboard the bus and walked down the bus looking for a seat. When he spotted Crystal he thought nothing of it at first, then he saw the DSi in his hands. He grinned a wicked grin and decided to sit behind Crystal.

"G'day, mate!"

Crystal ignored him, knowing what he was trying to do. Crystal didn't get angry a lot, but when he does he can't control himself. One of his many secrets involves his anger, though. When the Collingwood kid saw that he was ignoring him, he started blowing the side of his face, causing his hair to move.

"C'mon, mate! Talk! Did ya see Collingwood go against Essedon?"

Crystal groaned and turned his head towards him.

"Colby, you know very well that I despise football. Now fuck off."

Colby frowned and started tapping the top of Crystal's head in an attempt to annoy him.

"How can ya hate footy, mate?"

Crystal chose to ignore him once again. Colby grinned wickedly and grabbed Crystal's DSi out of his hands. Crystal turned his body around and faced him with clenched teeth. Colby waved the DSi in front of Crystal's face with a smug look.

"Watch ya gunna do abou- OUCH!"

Crystal smashed him in the face and catches his DSi as Colby drops it and holds his face. Crystal turned back around and continued playing his game.

Crystal was left undisturbed by Colby for the rest of the bus trip. On the second last stop, a new student boarded the bus. She had emerald green hair, emerald eyes and wore the standard school uniform. Crystal thought she looked simply amazing. She was the first girl Crystal ever though that about. All the other girls and guys at his school were either ugly or stupid. As the girl was walking down the bus, it looked as if she was inspecting everyone in their seats. When her eyes scanned over Crystal, her eyes widened. When she reached Crystal, she sat down next to him and placed her green bag down on the floor next to Crystal's light blue bag. Crystal gave the new girl a weird look.

"No one ever sits next to me. Why didn't you just sit somewhere else?"

The girl giggled and held a hand to her chest.

"My secret. Don't you have secrets, Crystal?"

Crystal's eyes widened at the mention of his name.

"How do-"

She held two fingers to Crystal's mouth to silence him.

"I know who you are? Another secret."

Crystal was about to respond, before he thought better of it. Not only was this girl gorgeous, she was smart. When the bus arrived at the Highschool, Crystal jumped out of his seat and climbed out of the vehicle. He headed for his locker in the Year 10 wing of the school and noticed something different. Right next to his locker, was a green bag. He looked up to the owner and saw the same girl from the bus getting her books out of the locker next to Crystal's. She saw him looking at her and smiled. Crystal huffed and went back to his locker and started grabbing his books.

'Okay, so she has a locker next to me. No biggy. You can deal with this, Crystal.'

Crystal had a perfectly good reason to be near the edge of freaking out. He had a YouTube channel called crystalhero97, a Lets Play channel full of videos of him playing video games and  laughing his head off at the jokes and glitches he finds. He was worried that this girl was a stalker and had found where he went to school.

Crystal headed for his first class, maths. Crystal rolled his eyes at his timetable. He hated maths. Crystal started walking towards his class, fighting through a crowd of class mates to get there. A small group of students his age saw him walk by.

"Oi, Crystal? You sucked any dick lately?"

Crystal sighed and flipped them the bird.

"Fuck off, morons."

Crystal ignored their retaliations and continued towards his class.

"I just hate people like that, don't you?"

Crystal jumped at the new voice and looked to his left. The same girl was walking next to him.

"W-W-Woah!"

Crystal shook his head and cleared his throat.

"Um, yeah. I despise them."

The girl nodded in agreement. "They make my blood boil! Hey, what class you got now?"

Crystal flipped his planner over and checked. "Maths in D4."

The girl gasped. "So do I!"

Crystal held back a groan. "Cool. Looks like we have the same class. Hey, mind if I check your planner?"

The girl nodded with a smile. "Sure, here."

Crystal opened her planner and looked at the classes she had. He couldn't believe it.

"A-A-All of your classes are the exact same as mine."

Crystal looked at the girl with a dumbfounded look. She threw her hands up in the air.

"Oh, what a coincidence! Looks like we'll be sharing the entire day together!"

Crystal released the groan he held back and face palmed. He shot a glance to the girl and gave her planner back.

"Do you know a YouTube channel called 'crystalhero97'?"

The girl shrugged. "Nope. I don't have Internet at my home."

Crystal gave her another dumbfounded look as they reached the class room doors.

"Who are you?"

The girl put two fingers to her mouth.

"Secrets."

She smiled and giggled before walking into the classroom. Crystal hung outside for a few seconds before he realized something.

'Her name will be called out on the roll.'

Crystal grinned and walked into the classroom. He noticed that the only available spot left was next to the strange girl. He, reluctantly, took the chair next to her. The teacher walked up to the front of the classroom and cleared his throat. He went through the first few people before he reached the C's.

"Crystal?"

Crystal raised his hand.

"Here."

The teacher checks off the name and looks back up at the classroom.

"Chrissy?"

The girl next to Crystal shot her hand up.

"Here!"

She lowered her hand and Crystal grinned.

"You're no longer a secret now, huh?"

Chrissy gave Crystal a confused look before silently giggling.

"That's not my real name, silly."

Crystal groaned in defeat and rested his head on the desk. Chrissy giggled some more and opened her maths book. Crystal 's head remained on the desk the whole lesson.

-----End Of The Day-----

Chrissy had been with Crystal the entire day. Asking him questions and just chatting with him. Or at least she tried to chat with him. Crystal had a set of rules he always follows at all times. One of them was to never ever tell a lie. So, when she asked questions he answered truthfully. At the end of the day, Chrissy and Crystal both boarded their bus and sat in the seats they sat in the morning on the way to school. Crystal hadn't gotten used to her yet, and he didn't want to either. Sure, she was beautiful and pretty smart, but he tried avoiding having close bonds with others.

A few minutes passed and Colby finally climbed aboard the bus. He smiled and sat behind Crystal again. Crystal was confused though, he hadn't brought his DSi out yet. He finally understood when Colby started talking.

"So I heard that you're a bisexual, Crystal."

Crystal silently swore. "Yeah, I am."

Colby threw his head back and laughed heartily.

"Woah! Hey everyone! Crystal here is a bisexual!"

Everyone on the bus turned and looked to Crystal. After a few seconds they started laughing at him. Crystal threw his hoodie over his head and sunk down into the seat. He began hearing some things he didn't like or want to hear.

"Faggot! Sicko! Freak! Gaybo!"

Eventually, Crystal began to sob silently. He couldn't handle it. All the pressure was killing him.

"Leave him alone!"

Everyone stopped laughing. Crystal looked up from under his hoodie with tears in his eyes. Chrissy was standing up with an absolute furious look on her face.

"Get off his back! What's so bad about being bisexual?! I'm a bisexual and I don't find straight people gross or anything! Get off his case!"

Everyone looked stunned. Crystal swore he saw the faintest hint of green shine in their eyes for a brief second. Everyone, even Colby sat back down and never talked the entire trip. Crystal took a glance at Chrissy. Her face was still full of anger.

"Thank you, Chrissy."

She didn't respond. Crystal snuggled up in his hoodie and looked out the window, thinking up stupid scenarios. He loved doing that so he could be prepared for anything. When Chrissy's stop came up, she didn't rise from her seat. Crystal looked to her with confusion. He was now sitting up right in his seat.

"Um, Chrissy? You missed your stop."

She kept her angered face and didn't respond. Crystal just sighed and looked out the window. When his stop came up, he stood up and tried passing by Chrissy. Instead, she got up with him. At first he didn't mind. He thought she was being kind and getting up to allow him to pass. Instead, she followed him off the bus and onto the bus stop. When Crystal noticed Chrissy was with him, he got a bit surprised.

"Woah! Chrissy? You live around here or something?"

Chrissy shook her head.

"No. I live on a different world. I came here looking for someone...special. And I found you."

Crystal blinked and tried to process what she just said. He laughed and held her shoulder.

"Oh, nice one Chrissy. You almost got me there."

Chrissy's eyes started glowing green.

"I wasn't joking."

Crystal staggered back in fear and bumped up to a tree. Chrissy advanced towards him and rested her forehead on his forehead.

"My name is Chrysalis, and I'm going to take you to my world. Equestria!"

Crystal couldn't move. With Chrissy's head resting on his forehead he could barely budge. She was stronger then she looked. Her eyes glowed brighter and in a big bright flash of green light, the two disappeared.
