Echo Dash I

        As Twilight was teaching Blueberry how to use her magic properly, Echo was reading on the many wonders of magic. It showed the benifit's of being a unicorn. It had the Disbenefit's of being a unicorn. How to start using magic, think of happy thought's than think of the spell you would like to do or the thing you would like to move or hold. Yeah Echo was pretty interested in magic and science. Echo was starting to get bored of the book. Most of it was just the same stuff over and over again. Then he found something very interesting. The only known human to use unicorn magic.

        He wen't by the name Mathew the Magical and he primaraly used his magic to entertain ponies. Even though unicorn's did it all the time it was some how more entertaining to watch a human do it. When Echo was reading about him, he thought he would be a horned human or something to use magic but when he found a picure it almost blew his mind out of his head. The picture showed the regular glow of magic that would emit from the horn of a unicorn but isntead it came from his hands. That ment Echo was capable of magic.

        "Echo im done," Bluberry hollered up the stairs to Echo.

        He had already gone to learn about human's for the day witch ment the time was 4:00 P.M or so. Pinkie had to stay the night in Canterlot so Blueberry was sleeping over at Echo's and Rainbow's house. Rainbow said she would pick them up around 5:15.

        "Whatcha readin?" Blueberry asked Echo.

        "Human's that could use unicorn magic," He answered her.

        "Wow! You know I just learned a spell that helps other's get better at using there magic!" As Blueberry told Echo that he begqan to smile as hard as he can.

        "Well what are we waiting for!" Echo sat up and cheered.

        "Alright. Remember if you lose control of your magic find Twilight imidiatly!" Blueberry warned.

        "Blueberry, I can handle it!" Echo reassured her as she began to preform the spell.

        Her horn light up with the regular pink glow. Then Echo noticed something that doesn't usually happen with it. It reached out at Echo's hand's which started glowing yellow. Echo could hardly beleive it. His hand's were doing magic! Then Blueberry's pink magic retracted from his yellow which faded.

        "Aw. Whered it go?" Echo asked.

        "The magic? It's still there. It's just not being used so it won't glow! Here im going to test you now."

        She told Echo as she took a book and layed it on the floor. "Think about happy things then think of lifting that book with magic!" Blueberry instructed Echo and he did exactly that. The book lifted and he brought it closer to them without the need to walk to it. "Good job! Sorrry I can't teach you anymore." Blueberry apolagized

        "That's okay." He told her, still happy now that he coulkd prform magic.

        "Echo, Bluberry! Rainbow Is here!" Twilight shouted up the stairs.

        Echo and Blueberry ran outside but didn't see Rainbow. Then before they could realize it they were being carried by her. She was goin top speed with her Wonderbolts costume. Within second's they were home. Rainbow had jumped on the couch and turned on the television. Channel 6 was broadcasting Daring Do the movie for the first time and Rainbow wouldn't wan't to miss that.

        "Thanks Auntie Rainbow for having me over for the night!" Blueberry set her stuff down.

        "Don't mention it squirt! Anythng for you! Besides you're family!" Rainbow told her while not looking away from the screen.

        "Mom what are we having for supper?" Echo egerly asked.

        "Left overs from yesterday." She announced as she turned to face us "Blueberry! you look just like your mother! Soon you'll have all the stallion's after you, maybe even some mare's you know what im sayin? Ah but it's all about what you wan't."

        "Here, i'll get your bed ready." Rainbow exclaimed when the comercials came on.

        Rainbow turned around and with one swift buck the couch popped out into a bed. Blueberry then set her things near the bed. Echo wen't up to his room to practice on his magic a little. When he lifted his blanket's it felt like he could control the entire blanket and not just where his hands where like when he made his bed before. He could make his entire bed two seconds flat. Echo was pretty proud of himself.

        "Wow, you're pretty good at that," Bluberry came up behind him "Your mom wanted me to get you for supper."

        "Good. I'm hungry," Echo exclaimed "Got any other spell's to teach me?"

        "I think we should leave it at moving thing's for now," Blueberry suggested.

        The two wen't to go have supper. They had salad, mashed potato's and buttered bun's. It wasn't Echo's most favorite meal but he ate it just as well. The mashed potato's were too cold and needed to be reheated, making Echo wan't to barf. His mother wasn't that good at cooking, never really was but he didn't wan't to hurt her feeling's. But he still couldn't finish his meal.

        "Mom, I can't finish my supper," He announced, remembering his manner's that Rarity stressed over "May I please be excused?"

        "So formal, you remind me of Rarity. Alright you can go," Rainbow dismissed him. "But that mean's you have to feed, Tank!"

        Echo stepped over to the aquarium that, Tank was kept in and poored the food. He used his magic to poor just the right amount but tried to hide it from his mother. With the hand holding the hatch, which was out of the sight of his mother, he magically lifted the right amount of food for tank out while holding the container at an angle so the rest won't go out.

        "Good Job squirt!" Rainbow Walked over to Echo "When did you learn the magic?"

        Just then a chill wen't down Echo's spine. How could she know? Was she spying on him? Did he not hide it well enough? He was scared of his mother's great ability to find out even his most protected seceret.

        "I... I... I was going to tell you, but I didn't find the time?" Echo hesitated "Blueberry helped me get it."

        "Hay! Now i'm gonna be in trouble!" Blueberry got mad.

        "No you're not. Nothing bad has happened yet. It's alright," Rainbow Reassured her.

        "But how did you know mom?" He asked "How did you find out?"

        "I know exactly what goes on in my house!" Rainbow Stompped her hoof and smilled. "You guy's wanna hear a story?"

        "Sure Auntie!" Blueberry sat down on the couch. "What's it about?"

        "The mysterious seventh Element of Harmony, the element of Devotion!" Rainbow began "Legend's Say that the Fourth time Equestria comes close to falling into the hand's of Evil, When all it's foes team up, the Element of Devotion shall rise. It would be the Devoted to protecting it's friend's, family and people. In order to do so he or she will fight against the evil untill the evil is slain."

        "Devotion sound's like the reckless version of loyalty," Bluberry exclaimed "Hay maybe it's you Echo, you can be reckless at times!"

        "Actually that's not to far fetched kiddo," Rainbow Told Bluberry.

        Echo wasn't paying attention, he was staring at the Dash family photo as his mom called it. It had Echo and rainbow at the gala dressed up in the faciest clothes they had. Rainbow had a beutiful dress that she had wore to princess Cadence's wedding. Her mane was brushed and styled. Echo had his hair done too. Echo's mother was holding him in her wings. Rainbow was looking into his eye's. The picture's caption read "Life is hell when your lonely but with family it's paradise."

        "I love that picture too, you were so handsome," wispered Rainbow "You know the next gala is a week away."

        And that's whenEcho got his bright idea, he had to learn to fly to preform at the gala. But how? Aerodynamic science says you can only fly if your porn with wings or have a jet engine... that's how echo would do it! Echo would build a jet engine in one week!

        "Yeah it's gonna be spectacular!" Echo finished.
