Echo Dash I

        Echo had one week to find parts for and build his jet pack. The only known part's and blueprint's are in the museum of human history in canterlot. Hew new just how he would get there too. Twilight was going early to help prepare for the gala so Echo asked if he could leave to go with his dear aunt. Blueberry was coming too because she can't be left alone for over a week without a unicorn to watch her.

        "How exciting!" Blueberry wispered "We're going to the Gala!"

        "Yes and in seceret well be getting the jet pack parts. While we are getting the parts, you will duplicate them so nopony will know we took anything!" Echo explained the plan to Blueberry "We will then carry the copies out in this backpack, which you will make invisible, and assemble the jet at the hotel room. Once it's built we will clone a few extra's just in case."

        "Do I get one?" asked Blueberry.

        "Yeah! What kind of good cousin wouldn't get his younger cousina a jet pack? A resposible one," Echo looked out the window "We will need four jet packs."

        "Okay," Blueberry was interupted when Twilight entered the carriage.

        "Oh how exciting! Thank you for coming with me to help prepare for the gala!" Twilight sat down "We need all the help we can get! The volunteer turnout isn't as big as last year. You know both of your parents will be performing there."

        "Really?" Blueberry looked surprised

        "Yeah, Pinkie will be putting together a comedy act and Rainbow wants to attempt a triple Rainboom with the Wonderbolts," Twilight informed us "It'll be pretty cool!"

        When they got to the city, Echo noticed there were more ponies outside than usual. All of them trying to help set up the gala. It looked as if every pony in canterlot was helping out. Echo thought he even saw Mr. and Mrs. Orange, his aunt Applejacks reletives.

        Echo could see the hotel just ahead. The building was massive, he could count up to thirty stories tall but he was sure he missed one. The building was white and had gold trim. The front doors were glass. Atop the building was a flag that said "Canterlot Company Inn, Feel like a Royal!".

        When the carriage had stopped, Echo offered to get out and bring the luggage inside. The inside was just as impressive as the outside with emerald flooring and marble walls. Echo sat in the lobby admiring the decor.

        "Princess Celestia is paying for us to stay here!" Twilight explained "It's so amazing!"

        Blueberry was the first to get to the room, she quickly stoed the stuff they would need under the bed's. Blueberry then turned on the tv to the latest episode of Doctor Whooves and jumped onto the bed. Echo followed.

        "So you two are alright? Blueberry use that messege spell to contact me if anything wrong happens." Twilight told Blueberry as she left the room.

-Later that night-

        "Blueberry. Blueberry! C'mon it's time to go!" Echo nudged his cousin in bed "We need to get the part's tonight to build tomorrow!"

        "Just a few more minutes," Mumbled Blueberry

        Echo then used his magic to lift her out of bed and out the window. He then dropped her on the ground. They had a first floor room so she didn't get hurt... much. There was a thorn bush outside there window.

        "Owwww! Echo you did that on porpose!" Blueberry got mad at Echo as she dropped him into the thorn bush. "There how do you like it!"

        "Okay, I deserved that." Echo got up and pulled some thorn's out of his face. He wasn't badly hurt, no bruises he could see and he got most of the thorns out. He then began to pull the thorns out of his backpack.

        His back pack was empty for now. It was for holding the parts for the jet pack. Blueberry would make the cloned pieces so nothing looked out of place. Blueberry also would have the assembling instructions for the jet pack.

        Echo and Blueberry made there way towards the museum of human history while there aunt twilight helped with getting the grand galloping gala set up. There was no pony in sight that night, probably helping the the G.G.G or sleeping. The night was peaceful under the moonlight. It was a full moon that night. A bird flew by overhead every now and then. Princess Luna would fly over head to make sure everything was safe and when she did Blueberry and Echo hid in a bush.

         When they arrived at the museum they noticed it was lightly guarded with one or two guards and no security cameras. The guards were guarding the main hall, one was patrolling the room while one was sitting down eating a sandwich. Echo had found a window washers saffold near an open window five floors up. He used his magic to bring the scaffold down.

         "There's a way in!" Blueberry wispered while pointing to the window that Echo had already noticed.

         "I know, this platform will take us up there," Echo explained "It'll be easy."

         "Maybe we should stop this Echo, 'cuz what if we get caught?" Blueberry began to have her doubts "We're only five, well get in so much trouble!"

         "Just think like daring do," Echo assured her "We'll only get in trouble if we're caught."

         Echo and Blueberry got on the platform. Blueberry used her magic to control it and bring them up to the open window. Echo was looking in the closed windows to find the section they needed to get to. He saw a sign that said "Human Aerodynamics and Spaceflight" at level three, the next level where Intellegent species to befriend humans and level five was all about how the humans nearly wiped themselves out in a nuclear war.

         "Okay Blueberry we need to go down two stair cases to reach where they store the-" echo was cut of by a booming voice from behind them

         "What in Tartarus are you two doing here!" Beamed none other than Princess Luna and the two guards.

         "I-Im s-sorry your m-majesty," Blueberry turned around head hung down "M-my cousin Echo-"

         "Wait Echo? As in Echo Dash the humans on of Rainbow Dash?" Luna looked surprised "Then I won't press charges. For a reason you may find out in the future. Also I beleive you were looking for these."

         Luna handed us two shining silver jet packs both with our names engraved on the retractable wings. The one in the window was made of simple iron and had no covers so these were a huge step forward from that. The only other notable differences were they had twin ion engines instead of just one and a compartment for storing small items the size of a digital camera.

        "But princess, why trust this young filly and this... human... with such things?" The security guard had asked

        "You dare question your princesses ability to rule over her people and protect them?" Luna scolded the guard as he nodded "We'll then I suggest you keep your mouth shut and don't tell any pony about this or you may just be looking for a new job. As for you two..."

        Luna's horn light up and a big flash and they were back in there hotel room.

        "Why did she let us go?" Asked Blueberry in confusion "I mean I'm happy we're not in trouble but this just doesn't make sense."

        "I don't know, but we do have our jet packs, care for an evening flight?" Echo suggested. He saw blueberry shake her head "Suit yourself."

        Echo took the elevator to the roof of the hotel. The elevator was decorated expensively. The floor and walls were emerald by the looks of it, the buttons were diamond crystals and the door as well as the railings were gold. The princesses cutie marks were carved into the ceiling and floor with Celestias on the ceiling and Luna's on the floor.

        Echo then thought of how silly he probably looks, a human boy with a black ninja suit and a shining silver jetpack. He did look pretty silly. But it could be worse. He thought of what he might look like in the night sky. He then realized no pony would be out at night.

        He was on the roof, the jet pack was controlled by several sensors attached to his temples. He was able to control the jetpack as if it were his own wings and real through it in the same way. He twitched the right wing a little then the left to make sure he had control. Then he blasted a little out of the TIE engines. Everything was working perfectly. Echo thought of flying and hesitated but then fully opened his wings and started a low burn in the engines, not powerful enough to move him but enough for him to feel it. He then readied and bowed down into a skiing position, closed his eyes and ran for the edge of the building. Once off the building he thruster as hard as he could. When he opened his eyes he was flying! He had stoped thrusting and began to glide with the wind. He had always wanted to fly. He remembered some of the moves his mother did when she controlled the weather. He saw a few clouds and began to do something's with them. One he had jumped on and cuased it to rain. Another he shaped into a heart. When he was done he destroyed them.

         But when he looked down he saw Twilight heading for the hotel. Oh no! I would never make it back in time! He panicked looking to the ground and to the clouds. Remembering he could fly he thruster as fast as he could to the hotel room window. He was going so fast everything except the window was just a blur. He blasted through the already open window and landed in bed.

         "Quickly get to bed! Auntie Twilight is coming!" Echo rushed Blueberry.

         "What!?!? Did she see you?" Blueberry asked in worry "Because if she did..."

         "Thank Celestia she didn't," Echo got his jet pack off and slide it under the bed.

         Blueberry got into her bed. She always loved styling her mane differently, like today she tried to imitate princess Celestias, but by the end of the day she always says her favorite is he moms mane style, which was well know in Ponyville as "The Pinkie".

         She was humming her mothers smile song. Echo knew every word to it. Blueberry hummed it beautifully. About halfway through she closed her eyes while humming it. Due to what most call "Pinkie Pie Magic", at about this point of humming the song your hair would just change to Pinkies. When Blueberry finished the song Echo decided to repeat it by singing it, most people call that his trademark "The Echo".

                "My name is Pinkie Pie," Echo began

"And I am here to say,

I'm gonna make you smile and I will brighten up your day!"

"It doesn't matter now,

If you are sad or blue,

'Cuz cheering up my friends is just what Pinkie's here to do!"

"'Cuz I love to make you smile, smile, smile

Yes I do!"

From these happy friends of mine!"

"I like to see you grin!"

"I love to see you beam!"

"The corners of your mouth turned up is always Pinkie's dream,

"Yes the perfect gift for me,

"Come on and smile!"

"Come on and smile!" Echo finished, looking over to Blueberry, who was sitting up on her bed laughing at... Echo's hair? He forgot the effects of "Pinkie Pie Magic" and just realized his blonde hair was now identical to Blueberry's and his Aunt Pinkie.

        "You look hilarious!" commented Twilight as she walked in the hotel room "Did you guys see that speeding black pegasus? He had a silver mane and was heading straight for the hotel. But he was so fast he was a blur, im not even sure it was a he."

        "Wierd, no I didn't see him," said Echo, climbing into bed "Maybe you can tell us more in the morning."
