last resort: the guard

It is now 7:00, and firelight was being sent to dr. Ivan church for unknown reasons. When he arrived he noticed there was another pony there besides him.

“hay you, got a name” said firelight who was slightly interested in the other pony, who at the time was wearing battle armor

“Firelight, is that you? It’s me moon dust. Wow it’s been years since I’ve seen you what’s up.” Said moon dust as she stared at her long lost friend.

“What! Moon dust, what are you doing here, and why are you in battle armor?” asked firelight.

Before anypony could answer the door opened, and a tall thin man walked into the room.

“Hello, my name is Ivan. I was told to see you here.” he paused for a moment “where is glow stone?”

Once Ivan mentioned the name glow stone firelight started trying to piece together what was going on. He saw his old friend moon dust in battle armor, a strange man with a rifle on his back came into the room, and his child was mentioned. The only thing that he could think was that something has gone wrong, and that there was a fight to be fought.

“Firelight, I almost forgot that you had a kid.” Said moon dust “and what happened to your wings?”

He was going to answer his friend, but another man ran into the room, and be was out of breath.

“Ivan, come quick, 478 has breached containment. It’s killing everything in the e.p.s.” said the man. He would have said more but a blade soon punched though his chest.

“O shit!” said Ivan as he pulled out a handgun and let loose on the killer. Once it was dead he looked down at the tag which contained all its info “e.h.d. 478. Hostel.”

By the time he had read the label blood had covered a small section of the room.

“Glow stone is my child. Where is she?” asked firelight as he created bright burning orbs under his wings and prepared to let loose on the man. “Tell me now, or I kill you”

“Firelight stop it! Don’t hurt the man. He will bring us to the cell she is in” said moon dust hoping that her old friend would not kill the man. Then she created orbs of her own “or we can kill him and find her ourselves”

“No need” said Ivan “I talked to her just yesterday she is in my office with the pony I have been protecting. Follow me”

And so they did. As they walked he halls down to Ivan office, they saw that lots of other people were killed by 478, and they were all killed the same way. This was by slicing the body in half, horizontally. When Ivan tried to open the door, but it only made a small click noise which meant the door was locked.

“Son of bitch” said Ivan

He soon removed his rifle from his back and proceeded to blowing the lock off with the shotgun portion of the gun.

“Holy shit” said moon dust “what is that thing?”

“It’s a fennorein fluttergun, and it’s perfect for killing locks, or anything for that matter.” Said Ivan in pride of his large gun.

The grope soon walked into the room to see two mares sitting next to Ivan’s desk on strange chairs.

“Glow stone, Derpy, there are some ponys here to see you” said Ivan

In a second the two mares looked over. Derpy sat in her chair and stared at the other two ponys, and glow stone jumped up to see her father.

“What’s going on glow? You know these ponys” said Derpy who at the time was happy to see her protector Ivan return (if you read “last resort: slender” you will know why Derpy is here)

“Ya, I do. The red stallion is my father, and the blue mare is his sister.” Said glow stone who was still smiling from seeing her father after a long time.

(If you read “last resort: small flame” you will know what’s up with moon dust and firelight. Ps. It’s a long fucking story)

“Hay glow stone, wow, you got bigger since I last saw you.” Said moon dust “and Derpy, I don’t think we have met. My name is moon dust”

“Hello” said Derpy, who at the time was happy to see that there were more ponys around

“Alright, you all should get some rest while I figure out what the hell happened in the system, and no funny business Derpy. This is not Cherno.” Said Ivan jokingly since it was only a couple weeks after they had escaped churnarus. (read “last resort: slender”)

Back at rainbow and Fluttershy’s cell shit had hit the fan.

“What do you think happened out there” said Fluttershy as she stared wards the colt that was guarding the room “rainbow do you know who he is?”

“No, and why is it that every pony keeps shooting me with tranks! I mean rilly it’s like they are trying to not shoot you” said rainbow dash as she pulled a dart out of her side and dropped it on the floor “I wander what happened to firelight? He’s been gone since we were, um, examined, by those men.”

“That was rilly weird.” Said Fluttershy “I had to stand there while he felt all over me, and took blood from my back” she said as she rubbed along where the needle had gone “he didn’t even say sorry for stabbing me.”

“Um, ya, I got examined too” said rainbow trying not to tell her friend how dirty her complaint sounded “what did he do, I mean rilly; tell me.”

“Well first he felt along my back and sides. It was so hard not to per, and it was kind of like a massage” said flutter’s “ I had to explain what a cutely mark was which was ok. I think I’ll keep the rest to myself”

“um f.s. let’s just stop the conversation before this get rilly weird” r.d. had some past experiences with mares who were over stressed and talked to long about it, and she wanted Fluttershy to stay calm “why don’t you just go to bed, I’ll talk to the pony outside”

“um, ok. I don’t know why but ok. I think going to sleep is probably the best idea, we have been up and about all day. Guess I’ll see you later

Once rainbow dash was shore her yellow friend was asleep she went over to the door and talked to the guard

“Hay, im rainbow dash, why are you here, and what’s your name?” said r.d. (obviously it was not the guard talking)

“Im here to protect you from the containment breech. My name is jumper. Is there something wrong?” (Jumper is from “last resort: slender”)

“No, not rilly, but can you tell me what escaped?” said rainbow

“Ok, e.h.d. 478 has breached containment and has killed 26 guards. Also e.d.d. 476 also escaped and we can’t find her.” said jumper

Rainbow wanted to know more but a large alicorn soon interrupted

“Hay jumper, bro you got a friend. Anyway I just talked to Ivan over the buzzer (phone), and he is in his office with the ponys, firelight, moon dust, glow stone, and Derpy hooves. Ivan killed 478, and are trying to find out what’s going on” said the large colt (gander is from “last resort: bright moon”)

“Nice, and this is rainbow dash, this is the first time I’ve actually seen her. Rainbow this is Gander, he works with the ethics committee. Gander you need to stay here Im going to find Ivan.” Said jumper as he loaded his chest gun (gun that goes on ponys chest and is aimed with lazer pointer and head movement)

“Ok so what do I do if longbow gets out?” asked gander

“That’s rainbow!” yelled rainbow dash

“I was not talking about you? Longbow is a colt in the room next door to yours” said gander as he laughed at the silly blue mare “don’t worry you will probably see him soon”

“Anyway, I will see you two later” said jumper

Jumper soon walked down the hallway with his gun raised and ready to fire. When he arrived to Ivan’s office, he saw something he did not expect.
