“Still, I don’t see the point in busting my ass like this,” Colin said.

“Well you have that sword now, aren’t you worried about not being able to use it?” I asked.

“Using a sword isn’t that hard…” Colin replied.

“Still, what would you do if you lost it? I don’t think asking nicely would work. Besides, what else are you going to do? We’ve already explored the castle and I’ve explained what I know about Equestria.”

Because I had done everything I could think of I was completely bored. An annoyed guard suggested that we check out the training grounds. We actually could use the workout, and with nothing else to do, why not? At least we can occupy ourselves until Colin’s sword was done.

When we were sitting here minding our own business some hot head recruit came up to us, “What do you think you’re doing using MY weights?” It was obviously a public gym, this asshole just thought he was something special.

“Mind your own business, dude,” I said, dismissing the moron.

“I don’t think so! You think you can stroll in and act like you own the place?” He asked. I think he wanted to start a fight, hell why not humor him.

“Oh, and you do? You’re dismissed, Private Fuckstick,” I shot back. He didn’t really like that, but fuck him, I’m not going to let some ass tell me what to do.

“You and me right now!” He said. His friends were there to back him. I could tell this was the crowd that always tried to start something, and when it becomes too real they bail.

I stood up and he ran for me. I’ll give him credit, his hits hurt; hooves are just unfair against a human. I had the size advantage though, so winning was easy. A right jab and left hook knocked him out. I love those moments when someone tries to act tough and goes down like nothing. The two charged me, so Colin stepped in. He kicked the larger one square in the face, which was enough to stop him. The last ran up to me. His face was amazing when I picked the smaller pony up and threw him away. I suppose he had learned his lesson when he ran away. The other two were on the floor.

This was going to be hard to explain to Celestia and Luna. “What is going on here?” Fuck me, speak of the devil. I turned to meet the stark glare of Celestia, she looked pissed at me, again.

“I’m sorry princess but these two and another guard decided it would be fun to fight us,” Colin said trying to calm her.

“Those two idiots and their friend tried to jump me,” I said.

She looked over the unconscious ponies, and recognized them as troublemakers in the guard. “Try not to get into any more trouble, please.”

“I’ll try,” I said with a smirk.

Before we knew it, Colin’s sword was done. We went and picked it up from the blacksmith and made our way back to the training grounds. “That’s fucking sharp as shit dude!” I said pulling my finger back from the blade.

“Of course it is! It is a sword, isn’t it?” He replied. Oh right, Colin can be a smartass. “So, what was it that you got from Vis?”

I let out a short laugh, “You’re gonna have to trust me here, ok? Promise me that you will do whatever I ask next.”

“This better not turn into any gay shit,” Colin said glaring at me.

“Fuck off, just promise,” I responded.

“Fine.”

“Ok, take that fancy sword of yours and stab me!” I said smiling like a lunatic.

“What the fuck, no! Why would I do something like that?”

“You promised assclown, just trust me!” I said with my grin widening.

“Fine.” He took the sword and stabbed me right in the shoulder.

I’m not going to lie, not one bit. The pain made me squeal like a little girl, and scream in agony when he removed the sword. “GODS BALLS ON FIRE THAT HURTS!” I screamed holding my shoulder.

Colin looked at me worriedly, “Why the fuck would you want to be stabbed?”

“Look here!” I showed him where he stabbed me. The muscles inside the cut were reforming and growing right back, the skin snaked across the cut in little strings until the wound was completely healed. It reminded me of a spider spinning a web in fast motion, “Ten seconds flat, bitch!”

“What the fuck?” He said looking the drying blood where the cut should have been. “That’s awesome, but you are still an idiot!”

I responded by flipping him off, bad idea. He grabbed my hand quickly and broke my middle finger. “OW, Son of a bitch!” I said as he was laughing like a madman while my bone snapped back into place. The pain of it reforming isn’t that bad, but the feeling of everything moving back into place and snapping together is surprising.

“I’ve always wanted to do that,” He said through laughing.

On looking guards were surprised to see the healing and went about their business when I wasn't angry with Colin.

Princess Celestia was sitting on her throne when a letter arrived from Twilight.

Dear Princess Celestia,

The others and I wonder what you have done with the human. Upon further research, I have discovered that humans are naturally prone to destruction and war. Also they have an innate resistance to most magic. I advise you not to trust these humans; they might be more than what Equestria is ready for.

Your faithful student,

Twilight sparkle

Celestia knew full well what humans were and what they were capable of. Aidan and Colin weren’t the first to come to Equestria in her life, and certainly wouldn’t be the last. Celestia just hoped that maybe this time, things wouldn’t turn out so dreadful, but if need be, she wouldn’t hesitate to kill them. The thought terrified her, killing people, but if it was for the good of Equestria she would do what must be done.

Night was coming and with that, dinnertime! Colin and I had worked our asses off in the gym. It was time for us to destroy another meal and reveal our new toys to the princesses. Colin and I walked into the dining hall to meet the princesses already waiting for us.

“Good evening, princesses,” Colin said, still keeping up the respect thing.

“Sleep well?” I asked Luna.

“Yes I did, thank you for asking,” She said with a sheepish smile.

“Hey Celestia, how was your day?” I asked casually.

A guard was walking us in, “Address the princesses accordingly, human,” No doubt a friend of the trio we beat up.

“It’s quite alright Shining, how is cadence?” Celestia said looking at him.

I don’t know how I didn’t recognize him, “Shining Armor?”

“Fine, thanks for asking,” He said to Celestia. “Yes I’m Shining Armor, and I don’t appreciate you beating up on my guards,” he said with a threatening tone.

“They brought it upon themselves, I didn’t want to fight,” I said calmly. A trio of idiots was one thing, but the captain of the royal guard was another thing entirely. I do NOT want do piss him off.

“Just don’t cause any more trouble,” He said as he walked out.

“Anyway, how was your day Celestia?” I asked resuming as if nothing had happened.

“We had a meeting with a gryphon ambassador,” She really was casual around us. I suppose we are the closest things to friends she has.

Just as I was about to say something more Colin interrupted me, “Look what I had made!” The idiot took the sword and stabbed me in the side. I have to admit though, the look on the princesses’ faces were priceless!

Celestia jumped to my side as I fell over from the stab while Luna sent a blast of magic at Colin. Just before the blast hit Colin I jumped in front of it. Holy Fuck. Have you ever burnt your hand cooking? Now imagine that on your chest and about five thousand times worse. I was shot back into Colin and we both flew into the wall. I felt a rib pop when the pommel of his sword slammed into my back.

“Please don’t do that Luna,” I said holding my side.

“Step aside Aidan,” She said still glaring at Colin.

“It’s fine Luna, leave him alone, I’ll get him back later.”

“MOVE!” She yelled at me.

“Luna, look!” Celestia said pointing a hoof at the burns closing over my chest and ribs snapping back together with quite the noise.

“Yeah, it hurts like a bitch,” I said still staring at Luna until her horn stopped glowing. “Now sit your ass down, fuckwit!” I said as I slapped the back of Colin’s head.

When everyone sat down Celestia began, “Why didn’t you tell us you could heal like that?”

“I didn’t know I could, actually, until I sliced my finger on my knife,” I said scratching the back of my head. Excuse time! “I guess I gained some kind of power moving into this world. Colin wasn’t so lucky, he can’t regenerate.”

“I did get this awesome sword made though!”

“Which I now regret,” I said rubbing my side.

“I’m glad you two have made yourselves at home,” Celestia said. “Tomorrow, I have a job for you. You must go to Ponyville and aid the Elements of Harmony in any way they need.”

Colin said, “Are you sure about that, princess? They might still hate Aidan for the whole knife thing,”

Luna butted in, “Knife thing, what happened with a knife?”

I ignored her, “Yeah Rarity might never look at me again,”

“Seriously, what knife thing?”

“I’ll tell you later,” Celestia said. “I’m quite sure they will come around eventually,”

“I’ll do my best Celestia,” I said with a sigh.

We finished eating and went to bed; Luna and I talked again that night. We mainly talked about what Colin and I did in the castle.

Twilight was rearranging the library after finishing double checking the checklist for creating a checklist to plan her day. Spike was eating groggily in the corner.

“Why do I have to wake up so early?” He groaned.

“Because Princess Celestia said we were getting two very important guests! They will be here to help us and the girls!” She was running around making sure everything was in tip top shape. Of course, she couldn’t have company sent by the princess to see her messy library.

“But why do I have to get up early?” Spike said.

“So you can greet our new guests! They will be sleeping in your room, after all.” She responded. Spike just grumbled at the idea of sharing his room.

Twilight saw the carriage approaching the library and went out to greet her company. Spike followed behind and watched.

“I’m so happy you could come!” She said when the carriage door opened. “May I take your…” Twilight just gazed at the two people getting out of the carriage.

“Good to see you too!” I said, trying to break the awkward silence.

“YOU are Princess Celestia’s special guests?” She asked.

“Yep, no hard feelings right?” I said hoping she wouldn’t hate me.

At that she just stormed into the library and left spike next to us. “What about you?” Colin asked the dragon.

“I guess if the princess trusts you, I do too,” he said looking up at us. We were towers compared to him.

“At least we have that,” I said with a sigh as I ducked into the library with Colin and Spike in tow. “This is gonna be a fun stay…”
