YEGODS! We're in Equestria!
Hello, my name is Garrett Nicholas Woolery and I'm here to tell you the story of how I became a demigod, well it's a bit more complicated then that. First, I became a pony, then a demigod. Around the time it happened I felt like I wasn't succeeding at all in life. I felt like a lazy, no good, teenager who has no skill and couldn't find his place in life. I know about any 15 year old has that dilemma, but I just didn't know what to do about it. I tried out many things, like playing cards, half of them got wet, or playing video games, that got expensive, I ended up becoming a brony at some point. Some people thought I was gay, or stupid, or in some cases both, but I didn't care, it gave me something to do. I started writing fan fictions when I found out about them, but I sucked at it, and I couldn't keep up with the show since i didn't have satellite. The only thing that really stayed the same for me was friends. I had great friends, many friends, many of which I could sit and talk about practically nothing with. I had a few best friends, the only ones that actually understood me, in a sense, but I had one friend that completely and utterly understood me, his name is Andrew. He has been, and still is, my best friend. The only problem with our friendship, though, is that I only saw him on the bus like three times a week, but when I did see him, I would be relaxed, without a care in the world, and I would bring out the good side of me that only my best friends seen. I could talk to him about anything from Doctor Who, to My Little Pony, to fan fictions combining them, just about anything geeky, nerdy, or just plain dorky. I loved it. Then my life changed. Nothing bad just..... changed. Here I'll just tell you in story:
It was on one of the few days i got to see Andrew. "I'm not gonna be on the bus tomorrow." I said casually.
"Why not?"
"I've got to retake a test, I've been sucking in algebra recently." I sighed. I usually keep my grades up to at least a B, in most cases though, like in math and science, I get A's and high B's but recently, algebra has been taking its toll and living up to its name. "Ah, it's fine I'm probably not gonna be on tomorrow anyways, by the way, are there any new chapters to Traveler?" Before I could finish a thought I heard a bird sing a very familiar tune.... "Hey, did you hear that?" I said suddenly.
"Hear what?"
"That bird, it sang a tune."
"I didn't hear-" He was cut off by more birds singing the same tune, this time louder and more beautiful. "Did you hear it?" I almost yelled excitedly.
"Yea, it sounds very familiar..."
"I know it! It's on the tip of my tongue!" Before I could think of it, I saw a very bright purple light that pretty much blinded me. I almost screamed, but it got snuffed when I looked at the sky. There was no sky. All I saw was stars and sun dust, I was so amazed by the beauty I almost forgot to breath. The sprinkle of stars in perfect contrast with the pitch black of space made me wonder, how am I breathing? That was when I looked down. "Whoa, this is freaky!" I said to myself in amazement, as I stared at a elegant beam of purple light for what seemed like hours. "How is this possible?" talking to myself while being in denial. For what seemed like another few hours I sat and thought about how exactly it was possible, then, right before I thought it would never end, everything went black. At first I thought I was dead but I tumbled and hit my head on what seemed like a tree, it didn't seem like I had a concussion, but it still hurt like heck. As I opened my blurry eyes, what I saw made me want to crap bricks.

Hey. My name's Andrew Archer Webb. And this is my awesome story. My life has been fairly normal. That's speaking generously. I was usually the odd one many a time. My life hadn't really changed untill eighth grade. I met a group of odd ones out. We became friends, and I became a brony. The only ones who actually know I'm a brony are these friends and Garrett, Garrett is the awesome guy I met on the bus. He's one of the few people I can actually connect with. I can just pour myself dry to him, and thats nice. We can talk aout anything from Doctor Who to My Little Pony to Red vs. Blue. It's refreshing.
So anyways, it was a normal day. I had just finished a huge math test and then boarded the bus. After a while, Garrett got on.
"I'm not gonna be on the bus tomorrow," said Garrett.
"Why not?" I ask. I don't realy say too much.
"I've got to retake a test, I've been sucking at algebra recently."
"Ah, it's fine. I'm probably not gonna be on tomorrow anywayse, by the way, are there any new chapters to traveler?"
"Hey!" Said Garrett suddenly, looking around. "Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?" I asked, confused at this sudden outburst
"That bird just sang a tune."
"I didn't hear-" I was cut off by the bird in question, this time singing a lot louder than before so I could hear it.
"Did you hear it?!" Yelled Garrett in my ear.
"Yeah, it sounds very familiar..."
"I know it! It's on the tip of my tongue"
Garrett was interrupted by a loud pop and an extremely bright flash of light. One moment later, I'm not on the bus. Instead, I'm in some sort of dark endlessness that seemed very endless. I could see stars and the like, but when I looked down, I wasn't on Earth. No, instead I'm on some beam of energy like the light bridges in Italo, except it was brighter and purple, and it was moving. So here I sat, on a purple beam of something in some sort of place with stars. This went on for hours. I would every now and then sing a song or count the Doctor's followers in chronological order. I eventually fell asleep.
I was woken by a falling feeling in my gut. I shot open my eyes and lo and behold, I was falling. I immediatly shut my eyes and prayed that my death would be swift. I then felt a strange feeling in my back area and pryed open my eyes. I wasn't falling anymore. Instead, I was gliding through the air. I looked behind me and blacked out.
Back at the beginning of the quest, the bus had pulled over.
"What's going on?!" Yelled student number 1.
"Where'd they go?!" Cried student number 3.
"Don't panic!" Cried student number 42, standing in his seat, waving a towel for reassurance. "Just don't panic!"

Unghh . I creaked open one of my eyes and looked around. I was in a forest, a very dense one at that. Where there werent trees, there were ferns, shrubs, moss, and grass. Only one thing seemed to be off... Oh, duh . I rolled over off my back and examined my surroundings closer. I was near a clearing with a coppery thing in the middle of it, but that could wait. First of all... My eyes darted to my back, and sure enough, they were there.Two giant wings. I started to panic and tried to stand up, only to fall on my face. What the heck ? I looked to my feet and let out a screech. My back feet were lion paws, but what realy got me were my front feet. They were two talons, like on a falco or eagle. They had silvery skin and shiny claws, which, upon closer inspection, happen to be made of metal. I looked back to my lion paws and took them in. They were covered in a silver coat of short fur and had retracted claws also made of metal. I looked for my wings and saw that they were black in color and tipped with metal blades. I let out a low whistle, and my tail flicked. This caught me entirely by surprise and I bolted on all fours into a tree. I crossed my eyes upon impact and saw instead of a nose I had a beak, and it was made of, you guessed it, metal. Whats with all the metal? I mean seriously?! I clicked my claws on my beak and listened to the metallic pings and felt the vibrations coarsing through my face and talons. I felt prepared for anything. In that same moment, a bunny jumped from behind a bush, and I sprinted into the clearing and collided with the copper thing.
"Ungh! Ow! What gives?"
"Wha- whait a sec..." I said, hopping to my feet to see that the copper thing was a pony. A unicorn at that. "Did you just talk?"
"Of course! Why wouldn't I? The better question is why the hay am I talking to a griffon, and how it's talking back?!"
"A griffon?!" I said looking around me."Where?"
"Right there." said the copper pony, pointing at my chest.
"Wha- ohhh! That explains a ton. But what it dosen't explain is why I'm talking to a unicorn!"
"I'm not a unicorn!" cried the unicorn,"I'm a human!"
"Then why do you have hooves and a horn on your head?"
"No! I'm... a.... unicorn?" said the pony looking at himself. "Aaahhh! I'm a hourse!"
"Unicorn." I corrected. His right hoof shoot to his forehead, where he found his horn. He screamed. Where have I heard that voice before..... It can't be! Can it? "Um... Is your name Garrett, by any chance?"
"Huh! How'd you know my name?!"
"It's me, Andrew." Garrett stopped, and stared. He took in every ounce of me and then set down. I did the same. "So... we were both sucked into this place by a bright purple light and were turned into a pony and a griffon?" He asked finally.
"Seems like it."
"You wouldn't think that this is Equestria, would you?"
"Ummm...ahh..." I looked at Garrett and studied him closely. He was bronze, not copper, and had a maroon mane and tail. He had green eyes and a microchip emblazed on his flanks. "Yeah, that sounds reasonable."
Just then, there was a loud rustling in the bushes on the left side of the clearing. We jumped to our feet, and the bunny that scared me earlier hopped out, followed by a yellow mare with a pink mane and a white mare with huge glasses and a mane of varying shades of blue. Garrett looked at me with a huge grin plastered on his face, while I was dumbstruct and probably had a realy stupid look on my face. The yellow mare walked over to us, while the white one stayed at the edge with a large black box on wheels and surveyed the clearing edges, as if looking for something. The yellow one approached us and spoke almost in a whisper. "Hi my name's Fluttershy and that's Vinyl Scratch over there."
"Pardon?" I asked
"Um. *cough* I'm Fluttershy and that" She pointed her hoof over to the white pony, "is Vinyl Scratch."
"Did you hear that!" screeched Garrett into my ear, "It's Fluttershy and Vinyl!"
"Wow..... It is Equestria." I said, too overwhelmed to react. Instead, I threw up.
"Eww. Come on, lets get you to my house." said fluttershy, putting a hoof around my shoulders.
"Uh, guys, hate to burst your bubble, but we've got trouble!" Cried Vinyl, setting up her box facing the far side of the clearing."Get behind me!" We all quickly ran behind her as a manticore burst through the clearing. Vinyl quickly slamed her hoof down on a button sitting on top of the box. The frond side of it slid open and a giant beam of blue light shot out at the manticore, along with a series of extremely loud wubs and dubs. The beast pawed at its ears as streams of blood trickled out of them. Its tail thrashed around wildly and it ran back into the forest from were it came.
"Come, lets get back to Fluttershys house before more come."
