Chapters It is a cold and beautiful night; the sky pastel alike the passonate fires of love. Young colts and fillies scurry to thier jobs, wishing not to be late on such a monumentous day. Carts clatter down the cobblestone streets, occaisonaly losing grip on the icy divots that had developed over the year. Vivid lights burst to live, casting colorful hues of gold and brown on the streets. From the windows of buildings faces can be seen of those spectating the awesome parade to come. The sound of iron on stone signals the comming of the carrages. Lively music can be heard from the halls; and people croud the streets to view what is to come.
A door opens, with a chime from the brass bell ringing clear above the croud. A disorented and stressed Twilight Sparkle bounds off the steps, closely acompanied by her roomate, Spike. As Twilight twists and turns through the crowd of people; Spike speaks to her with an almost rethorical concern. "Twilight, Why are we in such a hurry?" For a breif, but not yeilding moment, She turns her head to answer him; only to collide with a similarly rushed pony. Twilight turns to see Applejack, face reddend by the bite of the fall air. Twilight repeats spikes question to her; now fully wondering how she was to get to Princess Celestia's castle on time. "Th' Princess want'd me ta' bring sm'a my family's apples to 'er castle. We're you goin'?" Twilight returns from her future enticement with the party to give a terse remark. "I'm suppost to be at Princess Celestia's castle prepairing for the party thats HAPPINING!" With this statement, bolth Applejack and Twilight rase themselves from the frozen ground; turning and rushing through the crowd to the ruler's castle.
On the other end of the town; a fight has broken out. Three ponies hold a female pony to the wall of an aged building. Slaming his fist into the captive's stomach, the leader of the three asks an impatent question. "How many times do I got to tell you? Don't go fuckin' round with my 'supplies'! I got fifteen deals that have got to be made by this tuestday, or im shit outa' money! If pricks like you keep stealin' my coke; i'll go broke!" The lanky pony to his right chuckles at this and states humirously; "Ey' boss, you just made'a ryme!" With this remark the leader; a short, pudgey, foul tempered colt lays into the taller groupie. "I know what the fuck Im sayin' when im sayin' it! Shut your fat trap befor' I beat you too!" "Im sorry boss, I just wanted to make a joke! Honest!" The leader takes off his cap; smacking the other across the face. "Well, did I hire ya' to be makin' any goddamn jokes? Did I?" "N-No boss, Y-You hired me so I-Id do all th' dirty work!" The leader and second have now released their grip on the captive, and completely turned their backs to the third groupie. "Well, You dont seem to be doin' a good job! I be the one runnin' round shootin' people; and all you do is say ' Uh... Uh..' Im tired of it! Am I right vinney?" The leader lifts his hand for some signal to talk, and turns to look behind him. "Vinney?" On the ground, now in front of the leader, lay cringing form of the third groupie; with his own knife impaled deep into his stomach. With a look of pure shock, the leader looks down the alley to see the pony dashing for the streets. The colt becomes furious, pulling the pistol from his belt and presuing the enfreed capturee. The pony turns a corner, faced immeaditly by a solid brick wall. The pony turns back to the presuers, who are turning the corner now. "Where the fuck'd you think you'd get? Noone knows the slums like us! Give me the money now and we wont be forced to kill you and your family!" With this; the pony looks up, and smiles. Returning her view to the two presuers, she states a single sentince. "Streets? Who needs streets?" The leader becomes enraged beyond thought, and opens a shot at the lone pony. The sound of metal on metal vibrates through the air. The leader looks unbelievingly at the sight before him. A blue-coated rainbow-maned pegasus stands gaurd forward of the pony, with a katana wielded in its hooves. Attempting to shake away the disbelief from his mind, he shouts at the pegasus. "Who the fuck are you suppost to be?" The pegasus lifts her head to the attacker, and states blandly; "Noone of YOUR Intrest!" With this the pegasus charges tward the two, bringing a acending vertical slash along with her.
At the castle, a petty argument blares through the walls. Rarity, who had been sent to tailor the princes's clothing for the party ahead, was worked into fanatics. All of her gems were missing; and the party was just an hour away. She screamed at the guards, apperently holding them responsible for the missing attire. "Princess Celestia demanded specificly that her gems were to be carried under armored guard; and now look at what happend! Seventy-five thousand worth of jewls are missing without a trace! What in the hell am I to say to the princess?! 'Oh, im sorry! You will not be able to go to your party because ALL of your gems are missing!" With this she turns to the empty chest, and begins to weep. "She'll have me exicuted for sure!" Through all the incessent sobbbing, none of the guards hear the small pegasus gently walk up behind them. In a docile and miniscule voice; barely audible, she becons for the attencion of the three. "Excuse me; but I believe that these are yours." The ensaddend unicorn turns first, almost seeming to shift personalities. "Sweet jesus! I cant believe it! Where in the nine hells did you find them, Fluttershy?" Fluttershy looks breifly at the two guards, and states to the unicorn; "My friend randy found them. He has this looove for shiney things; and usualy gives them to me when he finds them." At the closing of this sentence, a small, feril-looking racoon moves from the crook of her leg, exposing its face to the much-taller unicorns. Rarity; with an almost eerie smile on her face, leans close to the new-found racoon. "So, It was this cute little buggar that swiped all of the princes's gems?" The racoon looks up at the pegasus, seemingly for a source of re-asurance. Fluttershy signals to the racoon that its ok; giving it a little smile. The racoon turns back to the inquiring unicorn, and nods. Rarity lifts her head, and still holds the smile; "Ok, In that case...." Her horn becomes aglow with a blue flame, and an invisible force lifts the racoon off the ground. Before the pegasus has a moment to mention anything; the head of the rodent twists on its sholders, popping clean off its neck. Blood splatters in a shallow pool around the carcass as the unicorn lets its victim go. Noticing the contorted look on Fluttershy's face, she turns and shoots a parimethian arrow. "Now; I've got some seirous sewing to do."
Applejack and Twilight reach the gates as the sunlight leaves the streets completely. The amber glow of the street lamps shadows the already distressed mares, who rush through the now open iron doors. They almost immeaditly encounter Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, of whom seem to be in a frantic hysteria also. Giving her eyes but not her attencion, Twilight asks Rainbow if she knew where the princess was. The flustered pegasus seemed to have her mind full of problems; and lost it at this remark. "I just got into a motherfuckin' slaughtershow with three colts! The last thing im worrin' about is where the damn princess is!" Twilight does not take kindly to the verbal assult; and while she prepares for a comeback, a joyous unicorn runs between the two, being tagged by a pegasus. "Celestia wants us in the detention block! She says that there's a show to be seen!" Rarity squeals with exitement as the other four slowly soak in the news, having various reactions. Applejack and twilight look at each other, and begin to follow the jubliant unicorn. Pinkie Pie is not far behind; bouncing in her usual joyous bliss. Rainbow is the longest to decide, cursing under her breath as she followed the five.
The mares walk down the long hall; seemingly perfict in its design. Twilight, in the lead; counts the numbers on the sub-halls. "500...550...570... Here it is! Hall room 579! Finaly!" The relieved unicorn opens the door; and immeaditly sees the crowds of ponies. Hundreds of ponies watch the musicans; screaming the lyrics of the song in unisin. Rainbow hears the music; immeaditly crumbleng away any depression that remained in her mind. "Hell yeah! This princess knows how to party!" She pushes past the other five, joining the crowd in their cheer. "HELP ME! IM DYING IN HERE! HAVENT I MADE IT CRYSTAL CLEAR? I NEED YOU TO SURVIVE!..." The other mares watch confusidly as Spike gets a strained look on his face. He pauses, and belches loudly; grabbing the letter just as it hits the air. Twilight walks outside to hear what the comotion was about, and is followed by Applejack and Rarity. When the door closes; shutting away the clammer of the room, Spike begins to read the letter. "To my loyal subjects, I can guess that Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie are enjoying the treat I have set up for them. I know that you dont neccecarly share the same tastes as the two. Rarity, I have set up a cosplay for you, and I believe that you would like to create the costumes. Applejack; I would like it if you could acompany Spike to the dining hall, so that you two may find it easier. Twilight; I know you would be no other place than the greatest library in Equestria. I hope you all enjoy your first Dekami at the castle! -Princess Celestia- After he finishes reading this, he looks to only see Applejack. "Where'd the other two go?" Applejack only sighs and shrugs. "Guess they wanted 'ta get there 'extra fast. C'mon, we got a banquet ta' go to.
Later on that night; when the festivities have commenced and everypony is slowing down, the six meet again. In a rather large room, assumidly designed for a large group; the mares unite. Rainbow dash is tagged by a edgey-looking unicorn; Pinkie is hyped on some unknown substance; Applejack and Spike are finishing the food they'd aquired, Fluttershy and Rarity are having an argument over the dead racoon, and Twilight has her nose buried deep into a historic bible. Spike sees the colt enter the room; and moves indeliberatly off his perch on the rafters. "Now, who in th' hell are you?" Twilight hears him say this; lifting her head, and notices the unknown charicter herself. The unicorn sees that most of the attention is on him; and leans against the nearest wall. Bringing his right hoof before his left, he pulls a small, cardboard box out of his jacket pocket. Shifting his weight, the colt sparks a lighter, and pulls a short, white stick from the box. Placing it between his placid lips, he takes a heavy draw. Looking to see that he still has all of the mares attencion; he exhales, sighing deeply. Looking straight; he starts. "My name's Silver. Silver Blade. An't I ain't nothin to do with no bookworms or pushovers." He takes an even longer draw on his cigarette; and flicks the stub to the floor. Twilight looks worryingly at the red-hot ashes on the carpet; and Silver sighs. He stomps on the ashes, and follows Rainbow to the showers. Spike looks confusidly at twilight; and she just returns to her book. He looks to rarity for guidance; and she just shrugs.
Author's Note
I am proud to say that while this story may not be the best in grammar, it was my first, and I thought that after three years of sitting on it, "What the hell, someone might like it." I'll do all you viewers a favor and slam the grammar button, the next chapter should be out in a couple of hours!
Blood on the Cross/Novectum
Rainbow Dash is the last to wake, feeling the blunt jab of a hoof in her side. "MOTHERFUCKER!" She screams as she awakes to see Silver Blade directly above her. He is floating about a foot in the air, forelegs crossed as if he was expecting her up earlier. Rainbow begins to ask a question, but stops when she sees two angelic wings protruding from the slits in Silver's jacket. He smirks; and kisses Rainbow straight on the lips. With a display of pure shock, her eyes widen to an almost anime proportion. When the mare realizes what is happening; she brutaly smacks Silver in the temple. He rolls off the pegasus; laughing with an overly-amused pitch. Rainbow, not paying attention to what is happining behind her; does not see Pinkie sneak up on her. "WAKEY WAKEY RAINBOW!!!" The pegasus rolls off the bed, directly into the fallen colt. "We got a letter from the princess! She says that we got to see the lighting of the sun! It's suppos'ta be amazing!" The hyperactive pony bounces to the door, and turns. "Common' Sleepyhead! Its gonna happen soon!"
Down in the park square; a large crowd has appeared. Princess Celestia stands, accompanied by her sister and her seven companions. The princess looks over the crowd, asking quietly for silence. The ponies simmer down quickly; not wishing to miss the event to happen. Celestia walked slowly across the stage; and spread her wings. Lifting her body to meet the crest, she suddenly stops. The princess's face contorts in a sickend twist, slowly looking down. A gunshot can be heard; and Celestia falls down to the stage. Blood, her own blood, begins to pour from the open wound, staining the area in scarlet. Princess Luna runs to her fallen sister; caring not that two gunshots have been fired. She bends down to cradle her sister, and goes to call for help. As the first word escapes the part of her lips, her head explodes. The third gunshot is heard directly behind the crowd, and everyone panics in a insane parinoia. Grey and pink goo splatter on the bloodstained monument as the body of Princess luna falls to the ground, directly on top of her sister. Twilight looks at the mangled carcass of her mentor with demented awe, mouth screwed in horrid fear. Applejack is the first to recover, pulling the mare out of her terror and with the rest of the group.
Inside the wooden walls of the Ponyville library; the 7 collect their thoughts in spastic ways. Applejack and Pinkie Pie busy themselves barring and barricading the windows; Twilight ruffels through container after container, empting their contence on the desk, Rarity packs the valiubles on the table into sachels for everyone, Rainbow and Silver argue while cleaning and loading the weapons. When all the windows and doors had been sealed, Twilight started counting who was with her. "Rainbow, Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, Silver...." She paused. Smiling with an almost psycopathic look; she turns to Applejack. "Where the fuck is Fluttershy?" Applejack looks to the unicorn, "How'm I suppos't know? Do I look like'a bitches keep'r?" As the pony finishes stating this rethoricle question; a pegasus emerges from the door to the roof. Twilight, keeping her anger, turns to the arrival of Fluttershy. "Now, my friend; 'where have you been'?" The mare looks down at the ground; and murmers out a labored sentence under the attencion of the six. "I... I was talking to the..... animals; they said that they saw who... who did it." With this; the unicorn's mood immeaditly lightens, knowing that the pegasus was doing somthing for the benifit of them all.
As the ponies walk down the streets, they see that the rumors really are true. The sky is dark; not the dark of night, but the darkness of a pitless void. Mangled corpses litter the ground on either side of the cobblestone roads; most seemingly just a hunk of bloodied meat. It looked as if some invisible monster had run rampent through the town, killing all but destroying no buildings. Rainbow breaks the deadly silence with a brash remark. "Dafuq you think did this? Changlings?" Twilight took the rethorical question seriously, and did not find humor in it. "No, Changlings would have pillaged the buildings. Plus, they are a more evolved race than to mangle their prey. No, this enemy is unknown" Applejack mumors to herself; "Naw shit...." When the six reach the park, their minds are blown to bits. There stay the most normal, casual image of ponyville, children frollicing in the fields. Only they wernt moving. The young ponies stood, frozen where they stood, seemingly petrified by some unknown force. This seriously disturbed Applejack, who saw her own younger sister in the field. She pushed the gate; (More or less) it fell. Attempting to make her first step; Pinkie put her arm up, blocking her. They eyed each other, and Pinkie looked back to the field. Grabbing a rock from the ground below her; she tossed it into the clearing. As soon as it hit the ground; an extremely violent explosion shook the ground below them. Blue light shot through the cracks in the ground; and the earth erupted with an almost hellish scream. The light that emmited slowly turned a violet hue; and the shreiking seized. Laying now in the field are the smoldering skeletons of the once-known ponies. Applejack stares inderectly to the center of the field(Crater?). Rainbow looks to her entranced friend; and gets a smirk across her face. " Guess someone wants us dead. Bit'a overkill if you ask me though" The pony keeps her stare on the field; but the corner of her mouth twists slightly. "Fuckin' A"
Can You See Me Now/Illanis Querrion
On the misty hills of The Borderlands, the birds stir. A gunshot can be heard; echoing down the imposing mountans like a crack of thunder. A young colt is running through the trees; face red with panic. He turns back at uneven intravils, checking for the presuer that lay just out of sight. After looking too long behind himself, the colt trips on a rased tree root. Hitting the ground with a strong momentum; the wind is knocked clean out of his lungs. Gasping for air, the distressed pegasus crawls on the ground. You may ask "Why in the hell is this pony running? Why dosent he fly?" His wings have been viciously mangled; with twigs and thorns pretruding their enrawed skin. Mucus runs down the colts face; mixing with the tears on his visage. He backs to a tree, and puts his head in his legs. His chest is heaving madly, and the pegasus is hypervenilating. "Why so sad Crystal? I just want to play!" The toying voice whisps through the branches; seeming to come from everywhere at once. "I even brought you some toys to play with!" With this statement; the presuer reveals itself. A small filly stumbles out into the clearing; carrying a mortar in its hooves. A large portion of her skull is missing; and the grey glob of her brain protrudes out. Blood is smeared down her coat which is dulled by a presumed explosion. The colt backs further to the tree, pushing himself up its trunk. The little pegasus smiles to him, signaling for him to come to her level. "Come here big brother! I got a present for you!" The colt resentfully plays along with the game, and lowers his head to hear her out. The filly screaches with delight; and rams the explosive down his throat. The pegasus reels back in terror, not knowing how to respond to this action. She leaps onto his chest, bringing him down to the frozen ground. Flicking open a small metal object, she ignites the spark. The pleading look in the colt's eyes only gives sick pleasure to the undead pegasus. "Now, its YOUR turn!" The filly lifts her head, her giggleing turning into a full-on hysterical cackle.
Fluttershy quickly turns her head to the sound of a distant explosion; and as quickly dismisses it. "Where did you say we were going, Twilight?" The uneased unicorn contimplates the legitamicy of this question, and turns her attention to the mountans to the east. "The elder lives in those mountans. We should consult him about this unknown enemy." Silver turns from his conversation-arugment with Rainbow and acknowliges the mare. "The Borderlands? Are you fuckin' crazy bitch? Do you have any clue how motherfuckin' big those mountans are? They scrape the exosphere! No pegasus has flown that high and come back; much less WALK!" Pinkie Pie breaks the tension between the two with her normaly abnormal aditude. "Guys! The elder just lives at the bottom. I could run there if there wer'nt so many trees!" Applejack signals for Pinkie to be quiet; but she is too into describing her trips to the house. "....And theres this BIG tower that was built by all the ponies in ponyville! Can you imagine? Just thinking about lifting one of those massive bricks makes my back hurt!" The pony stops walking; seeming to have a massive weight on her sholders. Grunting with imaginary effort; the pony lags behind the other six. Rarity turns to the childish mare; and makes a terse remark. "Stop playing Pinkie! We have a serious mission on our.... hooves" The pink pony straightens her back; and runs up to the side of the complaining unicorn. Putting on an teasingly serious expression; Pinkie walks as if she were in a line of solders, bringing her legs up in exaderated lockstep. Rarity sighs; turning back to the other unicorn of the group. "Twilight, what in His name would you hope to learn from a mountan stallion? Their not even good in bed i've heard!" "Shut the fuck up, Rarity" Applejack shoves the unicorn to emphasize her seriousness. "Look who's talking, cousin-fucker!" The pony looks suprisidly at the reviling unicorn. "Pardon me, what was that you said?" The unicorn looks away, turning her head to the inquiring pony. "Oh, nothing." With this lie, Applejack lays into the mare. Punching her straight into the temple, the pony levels the mare on the ground. Jumping onto the grounded unicorn, Applejack proceeds to beat the insulting pony. Landing hit after hit into the mares face; blood sprays from bolth Rarity's face and Applejack's hoof. Applejack looks directly into the mares mangled face. "Take it back?" Rarity pauses for a second, and opens her mouth. Instead of an apoligy; a squirt of spit and blood hits the assulting pony's face. "Never." Just as the pony prepares to end her life; two pink arms wrap around her torso. Feeling the gentle strenght of Pinkie hold her from the finishing blow, aimed directly for the nose, the Pony struggles to be free. Fluttershy brings herself between the two; moving Rarity to a further location, further from the pony that she had seriously pissed off.
Back on the road again, the seven begin their quest once more. Pinkie Pie carries the wounded Rarity on her back; of whom's face is bound in white bandages. Applejack wears the leather stocking on her right-front hoof like a cast, protecting the bandages she also dons. Rainbow Dash now walks between the two; ready to diffuse any converstation that may happen between the two. Twilight Sparkle leads in front; talking intermittently to Fluttershy, who is hovering next to her. Silver Blade has rushed ahead; taking the chance to separate himself from the quarreling group. Twilight mumbles back to the watching pegasus. "Reliable friend you got there. Where the hell'd you even find that douchebag?" Rainbow looks down, and begins her story. "When I was about 10, I got lost in Bujabea, the Skycity. I had no goddamn clue where I was, and the tall buildings sure as hell wernt helping. Eventually, I had wandered myself into a dark alley; and saw a light comming from one of the doors. I opened it, wondering if someone was there that could help me. It just so happened that this place was in the happenings of a whack, and I had just walked into a mob murder. Mind you; its pretty fuckin' traumitizing to walk into a slaughtershow like that. Three people dead. Dead. Dead with blood spewing from bullet holes in their chests and heads. I screamed; drawing attention to myself inadvertintly. One of the younger stallions; by the name of Joseph, told me that I had seen nothing. He pulled out a gun; and began to load it. I cried, begging not to be killed. Then, from the corner of the room; comes a small, energetic colt. He bounces up and down at the sight of me; and asks the man if he could play with me. That boy is Silver Blade. His father spared me because his son had no friends. Eventually, I came to find out that Joseph wasent realy as much a fuckin' psycho as people made him to be. One day; me and Silver went back to his house to find his father drowning in his own blood. Apperently, he owed the mafia a shit load of money, and so Joseph Blade overdosed on Heroin. His last words were; 'Please, dont let him be alone' So, I take care of this inseffrible prick because A) He's an orphan, B) I made a pomise to the mob, and C), I think I like him" Twilight looks at the ensaddend mare with suprise. "So; Silver Blade's a mobster?" Rainbow thanks silently that her last remark was unheard; and answers the inquiring pony. "No, his father was. He's just a damn orphan with an ego of god" Twilight looks forward once again. "You better tell your orphan lover-boy to get his ass over here! He's gonna get himself killed!" Rainbow awakes from her memories to see the colt, without any regard, at least three-hundred yards from them. Silver appeared to be breaking down a door on a rickity shack. "Yo, Silver! Slow the fuck down! Wait for us!" The pony flaps her wings, getting ready to dart tward him. Twilight telikeniticly grabs hold of her tail; preventing the attempt. "Let the bugger try"
Splinters fly from the rotted door as the hopefull colt lands kick after kick. Finaly suceeding in his attempt of entry; Silver Blade walks into the domicile. An old fireplace is the only stable thing in this lean-to; appearidly built by young children to play in. A small metal box lay on an oaken table, with a gold emblem on the top. Silver picks the box up, examining it for any openings. Finding a small handle, he proceeds to tear at the side. "Need some help, sugarcube?" The colt turns to see Applejack, standing in the battered doorway. He begrugingly hands the box to the mare; not knowing how else to open it. She takes one long look at it, and presses the handle. Twisting it; she pulls a drawer from the box. Inside of the drawer lay two Skeleton keys and a black-and-white of somepony and his wife. Silver looks immeaditly all around for a cabnet or drawer to use the keys on; but Applejack looks at them, remembering somthing. Remenecing an old memory; she looks at the tattered carpet. Bingo. The rug has the distinctive three green apples of the Apple Farmers; Applejack's decendents. She pushes the carpet to the far side of the room; unveiling the door to a cellar. As the other five file into the room, she turns the key in the lock. A bolt can be heard clunking inside the cast-iron door, and she lifts the door. What they find in the root cellar amazes them all. Barrels and barrels of hops and Ale line the walls, and a pantry with bakery produce stands in the back. Dumbfounded beyond belief, the seven walk down the hall. Another large Oaken table stands lone in the middle, acompanyed by four chairs. Pinkie Pie stares in disbelief at the pure varity of baked goods lining the walls, just separated from her by glass. Putting Rarity on the ground next to the table, she walks down the rows of food. Rainbow and Silver dash for the seats, not wanting to lose the option to sit down. Twilight takes the third seat; taking the time to record her findings in her diary. Applejack eyes the building in awe, slowly feeling the ages-old barrels of Ale. "How old you think this place is, A.J?" Applejack replies to Rainbow. "Very. Prob' built round' th' first retribution" Rainbow jumps out of her chair. "No fuckin' way! Thats like two hundred years ago!" Applejack lifts one of the barrels, and rubs the brass emblem. Clear as day, it states in bold font "Brokeback farm. 3464 C.D" Twilight's jaw drops at this discovery; and she immeaditly opens a scroll and starts to wright about it. Applejack places the barrel on the ground, and asks them all a question. "So. Who wants th' first drink?"
Later on, around midnight, the seven are having the time of their lives. Pinkie Pie is drunkidly dancing atop the table; shouting in some unknown language to the others. Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow, and Silver sit in the chairs, having as decent a conversation one can have slobbering drunk. "Applejchk, I aways wanted'a tella tha like ya and I wanna fuck' ya and all th' shit" Rainbow brings her arm up to grab Applejack around the sholder, but accedently hits her in the face. The pony turns to her companion; completely unaware that she was just socked straight in the face. "Rainbow, I love ya'. I do. Ant' I wanna fucka' too. But Ima too damn drunk to stand up. So'I guez therll be no fuck'n t'nigt" Rarity laughs at the two trying to stand herself. Silver is the only sober pony of the group; finding that drooling on himself isnt quite fun. He watches as Twilight starts to kiss Fluttershy; thinking that she is her long-lost lover. The colt laughs silently to himself as the ponies stumble around; seemingly like a group of infants. Rarity begins to talk to Applejack;and before long they are heated into a discussion. "Im'nt about ta' take'ny shit from no red-neck son'va bitch. Yo' can jus' go fuck 'rself" Applejack has heard enough from the unicorn, and smashes her mug down on the mare's head. She recoils, reeling with the pain of a heavy-ass mug hitting her head. "What 'n th' fuck you do th' for?" The confused unicorn inquires halfheartidly. "Don' be hate'n on mi' fam'y" Rarity hears this remark and counters it (However Moronicly). "Can i'z help'z it if you'z countr'i folk'en be fuck'n ech other's cousin's n' shit?" Applejack had heard enough. She flipped the chair she sat in at the slanderer; and charged tward her. Rarity had barely enough time to react before the pony was on her. A barrage of flairing fists hit the drunken unicorn. Applejack heard not the cries for mercy from the pony below her; nor did she feel the tugging of Silver trying to stop the fight. All she saw was red. She closed out her mind to everything that was around her; and blacked out.
Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Silver Blade, and Fluttershy travel down the eastern road; trying to find a clear path up the eastern mountans. When Twilight asks where Applejack and Rainbow are; the other three just shrug and say that they do not know. After a long and aqward period of quiet; Silver breaks the silence. "Maby I could fly up and check for a path. Would that be OK Ms. Captan Twilight Sparkle mam'?" The unicorn does not take kindly to the reviling sarcasim; and stops the group. "Silver, shut the fuck up and fly with the wings He gave you. Be usefull for once." The colt acts falsely suprised; putting his hooves before his face. "Oooh; The little girly's usin' big-boy language now! Im so scarted!" Silver flaps his wings; rocketing himself high into the air. Pinkie turns to Fluttershy; bouncing with neverending exitement. "Hey Fluttershy! Wanna play a game?" The pegasus lifts her head, acknowliging the pony. "Sure Pinkie. What kinda game?" The pony jumps extra-high into the air, pli with the happiness of a social interaction. "Well, ya see; there are all these rocks around," The pink pony pushes a small; grey rock with the cleft of her hoof. "And I thought we should count how many loose stones there are! Dosent that sound super-duper fun?" The pegasus looks back to the ground, and puts back on her serious face. "No. Not at all Pinkie." The pony looks confusidly at the pegasus; and a spark of apiffony ignites in her mind. Sneaking slowly behind the pegasus; Pinkie Pie charges at Fluttershy. Grabbing the mare by the legs; Pinkie brings Fluttershy onto her sholders. The Pegasus looks shockedly down at Pinkie; not knowing if she should feel angry or confused. "What the hell are you doin' Pinkie?" The pony puts the inquiring Pegasus back on the ground, and shrugs. " 'Just wanted ta make ya' feel better, Fluttershy."
Twilight Sparkle looks up to the decending colt; ready with many questions to ask. "Silver, did you find any clear way up th' mountans?" Silver softly impacts the frozen ground; slowing his momentum to talk to the unicorn. "There is one path leadin' up th' mountans, but it sure as hell wont be easy farin'. Im guessin' its at least ten Fifen before the Elder's house. An't we got to deal with that fuckin' 30kP snow too" Silver points to the mountans; and makes a broad sweep of his forhoof. "If we follow the path in a waving motion; and dont cut through the woods, we should be fine. The narrowest part of the path is only like 3 Kips wide. As long as we dont slow down; and we keep walking; we can make it there before any major frost damage is done"The mare looks down at her scroll; wrighting down what she had just heard. The colt turns back to Twilight. " There's just one little problem," The mare looks inquiringly at Silver, as if silently asking him to continue. He takes a long breath; and pushes back his turqoise mane. "We have little to no food and no means of starting a fire. If we get lost or linger a bit too long; we'll run out of supplies and freeze to death. Or, we will starve and eat each other. Either way; we'd be fucked" The pony continues wrighting; getting a sarcastic smirk across her face."Shit just gets better and better every time."
About 3.5 Fifen up the mountanous path; Silver begins to count the supplies in his sachel. When he looks up again; he notices that all of the attention is on him. Standing up off the rock he sat uppon; he took a long draw off the last cigarette in his bag. Flicking the glowing stub to the ground; he sighs. "Fuck. Well; I guess this is the 'Point Of Said Return'. We dont have enough supplies to get down the mountans. Its either we keep going; or we die" Pinkie looks up the hill; standing on the tips of her hooves in an attempt to oversee the trees. "Common' lazy bones! Its just a little further! I can see the house now! Its all nice and warm and..." The Pegasus interupts the pink pony; not playing along with her game. "Pinkie. You cant see it. The trees are at least five Stren high! Anyways; who says that this elder guy is gonna be there? He's probably dead! And we will be too if we dont get down this fuckin' mountan!" Twilight shouts back at the spiraling mare. "Fluttershy! Did you not hear a fucking word that Silver said! He just told us we CANT go back down the mountan. And even if we were to go back; what would be there?! Just hundreds of dead corpses of our friends and families! No. We are going up the motherfucking mountan. If you don't like it: stay here and freeze for all I care! Just dont slow us down!" Twilight turns with Silver and Pinkie; resuming their acent up the almost vertical mountan. The Pegasus stands in shock of the countering revile; and slowly gains her sense again. Charging up the hill; Twilight has barely enough time to turn before the mare is on her.
Silver Blade stops; waiting for the two mares to halt their incessent bickering. He sets himself on a large stone; sharpining his knives, when he hears a familiar voice in the trees. He turns; trying to shunt off the curiosity that grew within the back of his mind. The colt hears the voice again; this time using difinitive words. "Silver, come here...." The colt stands; unsheathing his machette and walking cautiously to the thick of the woods. After about ten paces into the forest; he hears the voice again. Male in tone, it seems as if he has heard it before. Looking around for the source of the sound; Silver Blade realizes that he is alone. Alone in the densest woods of Equestria. "Fuck." The pony slams his hoof on the trunk of a birch, repeating the curse over and over. "How fuckin' stupid could I be?! Here I am; telling the others how to get up the mountans, and I get lost! What fuckin' irony!!! The voice comes again; this time nearer. "Silver, where the fuck'v you been all 'dese years?!" The colt turns to the sound; now clearly remembering what its voice belonged to. Out of the air comes his father; in all his prime. Blood comes from his nose and eyes; but Silver does not concieve that. He sees only his father; the man that he had lost long, long ago. The colt falls to his knees; his mentality shattered to the point of hysterics. "F-Father? I thought y-you were dead!" The stallion that stood before him laughed, taking this serious question as a joke. "Boy, you have much to learn" Silver's father helped the colt to his feet; shaking him loosly. "Anyways. I got somthin' I need to ask of ya." Silver; still terribly shocked by the sight of his father, nodded with half acceptance, half unawareness. "Good. Silver, my boy. I need you to go back. Back in time to th' first war. I want ya' to find and track th' Fourth power. Become what it make. Blend in wit' th' socity. Prevent this hell from ever happening. Do yo' hear?" The colt nods again; this time grasping what he is told. "But father; I thought there were only three surviving powers?" The stallion laughs again, coughing up blood onto his face. "Yes, that's what th'a taught you. But you'll BE the Third Power. Will ya do it? Fo' me?" The stallion stands back; waiting for his son's responce. The colt nods; not willing to go against his fathers wishes. "Good. Good. Go now, my son. Bring the wars to an end." With this the stallion pulls a pistol out of his coat, leveling it with his offsprings forhead. "You shall return, my son."
The quarrel between the two mares ceices when a gunshot is heard in the near woods. Twilight shoves off Fluttershy, Not wishing to fight the Pegasus any longer. Dusting herself off, the mare gathers her spilled supplies that lay on the ground. Twilight turns to Pinkie and Fluttershy, bolth of whom seem as distressed as she. "We need to get to the elder's house. NOW"
Once again we join the (Now only three) ponies, each within sight of the elders house. It is a small, rickety shack; only contrasting from the trees by its cracked window panes. A door sits loosly in its joints; just waiting for gravity to pull it down. The pink pony turns to the other two; jumping up and down with asurance. "See! I told you it was just a little futher! I wonder if theres lots'a food and stuffs inside!" Twilight sighs in a bend of releif; walking slowly to the door. Fluttershy stands, shocked that the place even exists. Pinke Pie turns to the exasperated Pegasus; still bounding with happiness. "Lets go inside guys! I bet he's gonna LOVE having guests!" Trying to be as ginger as she could opening the door (to no avail), the rotted wood collapses to the ground. Stepping inside, one can feel the warmpth of a wood stove circulating the air. Feeling awfull for destroying the Elder's door, Twilight looks for the aged stallion. Pinkie is the second to enter, closely followed by Fluttershy. The pink pony runs directly to the table. Seeing a fresh loaf of bread laying on the table, Pinkie cannot help but fill her depraved stomach. Twilight turns into the main bedroom to see a releiving sight. There, in an old, oaken rocking chair; sat the reason for all of their toils. The elder looks inquiringly at the unicorn that stands in his doorway, and rases himself slowly from the chair. "I've been expecting people up here for a long, long time. These mountans, do not provide much in the way of company. But you have not come all this way to hear my life story. No, you have come on a great accord." The unicorn begins to state her piece, but is inturrupted by the Elder. "Come, come. I will not explain your prediciment without the settling factor of food in your stomachs."
At the lenghty table, the three companions sit, enjoying the copious (For a starving body) amounts of food. After igniting the candles that stand on old nethicite holders, the elder sits at the end of the table. Taking out a large, dusty book that which pages are yellowed by age; he turns to an old document that lay bound inside the book. He hands the parsol to Twilight; telling her not to open it untill after he finishes his statement. Sighing deeply, he begins to imart his knowlige with the other three. "The evil you face has no name. It has no shape or form. It only resides inside you; taking the form of your worst fears; it draws out as much emotion it can, and kills you. Normally, this evil is supressed by the enlighting powers of the sun, moon, and stars. But when the princess was murdered; the sun fell out of the sky, giving full reign for this creature, this Abomination to reap its deadly hooks into the souls of everyone and everything. You three are the last remaining ponies in Equestria. I know this is a heavy burden. But you must look at the depth of your soul and relize that the only thing giving this evil power is you. If you refuse to accept that fear is unabrigable; then it will surely kill you all. All I ask is for you three to think of your responsibilities to this world." With the closing of this sentence; the old stallion rises slowly from his chair, walking decrepidly to the doorjam. Not putting the effort to turn, he pauses. "You are welcome to stay here as long as you like."
Pinkie Pie stumbles blindly into the cellar of the building; looking for some kind of light to use as a guide. She swings her hoof to the left; looking for a cande to light. Instead, she feels a switch. Flicking it; the whole basement becomes aglow with florecent light. Old, dusty tables and wooden pallets are stacked in no particular format; and carpets are rolled and stashed in the nearest corner. The pink pony closes the door behind her; making a futile attempt to issue no noise. The mare walks cautiously over to a pre-set table and an old chair. She sits down in the old furniture, feeling the hand-crafted seat that was bolth strong yet gentle. Looking at the table, she sees the etchings of old runes inlaid into the sides. Brushing the table, she is supprised to see that the glass resembles a giant mirror, and Pinkie can see herself looking back. Smiling at the mirror; the mare starts talking to her reflection. When her reflection talks back; the pink pony falls out of her seat and onto the ground. "Pinkamenda Diane Pie; whats the matter? Have you never seen your reflection?" Pinkie Pie quickly jumps back into her seat; looking down at her reflection. "I brought you some candy to have!" The pony looks across the table to see multiple lines of white powder, a razor and two straws. The pony becomes scared; not knowing where all these things were comming from. "I thought you liked blow!? Jeeze, am I getting picker and picker with the years!" Pinkie tries to calm her reflection, taking a straw and forming a line with the small metal blade. "There ya' go!" The mare snorts the line, instantainously feeling the euphoria set in. "Come on Pinkie! You can do bigger than that!" The pony agrees with the reflection; now seeing it as an entirely diffrent person. Pinkie climbs out of the mirror, taking a seat right next to the hallucinating pony. Picking up the other straw; her reflection forms an even bigger line with the razor. Lining up the straw with the strip of cocaine, she inhales deeply. Blood is now comming profusely down her face, pouring out of her nose alike a red river. Laughing at the rediculiousness of herself sitting next to her; she heeds not the puddle of blood and saliva that is pooling around her feet and on the table. Spiders and bats start to come out of the walls; all drooling with anticipation of the dripping blood. The pony gets on top of the table; dancing merrly in the blood-stained drug. She turns, and falls to the floor.
Fluttershy hears a solid thump reverberate from the basement. She contemplates what it could be as she gets out of her bunk. Taking with her a pistol for re-asurance; the mare walks steadly tward the door. Hearing nothing on the other side, Fluttershy opens the door quietly and slipps onto the first step. Gliding down the stairs soundlessly (with the aid of her wings), the mare notices that the florecent lights are on. Taking heed that something may be down there; Fluttershy loads a fresh clip into the .45. Looking around the corner; she sees her companion, Pinkie Pie; laying slumped on the ground. Feeling good that she knew what turned on the lights; Fluttershy called quietly to her friend. "Pinkie, its not good to sleep on the cement. You can hurt your back!" When the pony lacks a responce; or even a movement of acknowligement, the Pegasus becomes morbidly curious. Walking slowly to her friend, Fluttershy keeps the gun trained to the immeadite ground; prepared for anything that may have her hostage. Virtually uppon the pink pony; the Pegasus makes a unsetteling descovery. Blood trails from the nostrils of the mare, and her eyes are staring unmovingly into a void. Fluttershy waves her hoof in front of the ponies gaze, and gets no movement what-so ever. Pressing her muzzle against the neck of the pink pony, Fluttershy feels no pulse. Not even a faint beat. She slowly lifts her head from the body; still not understanding what happened. Then she remembered. At the party at Celestia's castle. Pinkie Pie came into the room spazzing about things that wernt there. The razor she had found at Pinkie's bedside at Sugarcube Corner. The mafia she was constantly complaining about. Pinkie Pie had died of a cocaine overdose. The pure shock of realizing this hit her alike a freight train. The Pegasus fell to her knees; slamming her hooves into the hard cement. "Why would you do this Pinkie?! How could you do this to me?" Fluttershy rolls the body of her friend over; fully exposing the cocked expression on the carcass's visage. Gripping the pony around the chest in a entightend hug, Fluttershy begins to wail.
After her voice had gone hoarse (No pun intended) from her screaming; Fluttershy's head fell to her friend's sholder. Body heaving with each breath of sorrow; the Pegasus's face is stained with bolt her tears and the blood of her friend. In an almost inauditable voice; the pegasus goes on. "Why did you have to die? We were gonna save the world and have a happy life." After a long pause, the Pegasus moans deeply. Fluttershy releases her grip from the ponies body; which falls limply to the cement. Falling back now on her knees; the Pegasus's arms fall to her sides. She turns her body; gripping the .45 in the clef of her hoof. Feeling along the framature of the gun; the pegasus flips off the safty. Pulling back the hammer on the back; the click of a spring ready to release can be heard. She slowly brings the pistol up to her veiwpoint; and turns it tward herself. Placing the muzzle against her temple; she begins to sob again.
Twilight Sparkle hears the distinct sound of crying below her; in the basement. She walks stiffly to the door; still feeling the coil of the old box-springs in her lower back. Opening the door with no signs or regards for silence; the unicorn stumbles down the rickety stairs. She beholds Pinkie Pie; laying on the ground flat, and Fluttershy, with somthing in her mouth. Before her vision can clear; she hears a concussive bang. Blood sprays on the ceiling and walls; and Fluttershy's body rockets backward, her head bouncing hard on the floor. The sound of the gunshot reverberates on the cement walls; and lingers in Twilight's ears long after the sound is gone. She looks to see two dead mares; each laying on the basement floor. Twilight begins to scream, and runs back up the stairs. Covering ground like mad; Twilight runs into the old stallion's room. He lay sleeping on his bed; peacefull as can be. Twilight tries to shake him awake; but to no avail. The Elder has had a heart-attack in his sleep; binding him forever to the land of the stars. She begins to weep at his bedside; and relises that she is all alone in the world.
After a long peroid of sorrow; the mare rases herself. She remembers the parasol that she had recieved earlier that day. Walking into the room that she had slept in; Twilight telikeniticly opens the manilla folder; revealing a letter. She opens it, and reads it out loud.
"Dear Twilight Sparkle of Equestra; I regret to inform you of this darkest news. It seems that the assassination of your mentor has brought us more than greif. An ancient evil known as Xenron has been freed uppon this world; killing with its victims worst fears. Though most ponies and other creatures died because of their worst fear; you did not. Your fear brought the death of others. You fear the death of your friends. You put them into the electric chair(Medaphoricly). I would say the worst is behind you; but it isnt. Applejack awakes with a dull ache in her arms. She looks around to see her friends standing in a semicircle before her; backs turned completely. But then she noticed somthing. Where was Rarity? She went to get up to ask the others, and her question was answered. Rarity is dead. The other five stand around her grave; shallowly into the ground with a makeshift cross erect from its far end. Rainbow rests on a spaded shovel, weeping over the loss of her friend. Applejack wondered why Rarity was dead; and then she remembered. She had beaten her friend to death. "God. What have I done?" The words issue from her lips before she can even think. Twilight turns to her friend; and shakes her head. "What in fucks name were you thinking? Why did you kill her?" Applejack studders for an answer, and Twilight comes closer. "ANSWER ME GODDAMNIT! WHY THE FUCK DID YOU KILL RARITY?" The unicorn is furious; standing like an angel of fury above Applejack. "I dont know...." Twilight hears the words come from the ponys lips; and asks again. "WHY THE FUC...." "I DONT KNOW!" The confused and disorented pony shouts her remark to the unicorn, making sure that she was heard. The pony arises from her earthen bed, standing with her friends. Looking into the twilight horizion; she realizes that life is too damn short.
The six friends gather in front of the rickety building. As the others gather their belongings and prepare to leave; Applejack sits guarding the door. She holds in her hands an assult rifle; fully loaded and primed. The mare issues a low-pitched wimper, seemingly from the blackest depths of her soul. Applejack cradles the weapon alike a new-born infant; pressing the stock to her cheek. Feeling the cold metal on her skin adds to the guilt that she had killed one of her friends. A single tear drips down her face; streaking her already red face with vibrancy. Applejack mutters to herself; deeply inhaling on each breath. "W-what the f-fuck am I s-s-suppos'd do now? I done k-kil't my good friend R-Rarity" With the finishing of this sentince; she sighs deeply. Looking at her hooves, long sience absent of the staining blood of her compainion; she begins to cry again. Bringing the muzzle of the assult rifle to her mouth, she places the cleft of her hoof on the handle. As soon as she starts to push the trigger, a tom-boyish voice calls from the destroyed doorjam. "Applejack, were you sittin' out there the whole time? I didnt' know!" The blue pegasus turns the cornter to see her friend, with the barrel of the assult rifle in her mouth. "OH MY FUCKIN' GOD!" The pegasus whips from her leisurly walk and pulls the gun from the ponies mouth. Applejack puts up no resistance; just staring back at Rainbow with eyes swelled by tears. The pegasus slowly sits in front of the sobbing pony; already preparing her pep-talk. "Applejack, you know that Rarity was egging you on. Im not saying she deserved it, but...." The pony lifts her fore-hooves,bringing a pained expression across her visage. "Yo' damn' right she did'nt deserve no' bein' killed, but I-I di'it anyways. HOW'N FUCK'S NAME'M I SUPPOST' LIVE WITH THAT?" Applejack takes up the assult rifle; and quickly grabs the sachel with her name embroidered on it. The pony slings the gun over her sholder, and places the sachel around her neck. Walking about fifteen paces from the confused pegasus; she turns. "I can't live wit'it" With this sealing sentience, the pony runs, directly to the hills known as The Borderlands.
Chest heaving from a mixture of fatuge, anger, and fustration; Applejack rests herself against a large birch. Looking back to see the ground she had covered; the pony makes a startleing realisation. She is deep in the dence forest, surrounded on all sides by trees. Trees. As far as her sight can behold; there is no clear outcropping or any sign of sophisticated life. Looking up, Applejack tries to read the sun to tell where she had been. "Damn. Forgot the sun fell out'a th' sky. Jesus." The mare sighs, laying full against the supporting trunk of the massive tree. A large racket of snapping branches and rustling leaves breaks the pony of her apithy. Before the pony lands a pegasus; carrying a satchel and a katana. "Just thought, ya' know, 'Travel in pairs' and all that shit" Applejack smiles happly at Rainbow Dash; for her undying loyalty was always her best quality. "Ah, Rainbow, Ya' always kno' how ta' crash 'n on any 'casion" The blue pegasus takes this pun as complementrary, and turns her head eastward. "So, how you figurin' we get up this big son'va bitch? I just ask cause I dont have no hint nor hind of this place." Applejack pauses; not fully having planned to get as far as she were. Looking up to the massive height of the trees; and their equally massive obstruction, the pony gets a thought. "I'll stay on th' ground, keepin' measure of where'w are. Rainbow, you go up there and singal me where ta' go. Sound' lik'a smart plan?" The Pegasus looks to the trees, flapping her wings. Rainbow winces with immence pain, clenching her left wing. "I dont think I'll be fly'in anytime soon. My wings bust like a fuckin' twig" Applejack sighs; and pulls a small compass from her sachel. The needle spins rapidly, occaisonaly stopping to point down the mountan. "I figure'd 'ny direction is best't this point. Dem' magnetic fields 're stronger near 'th Nethicite mines. Were right above th' biggest quarry in th' county." Taking another look up the eerely tall mountan side; the two mares begin their ascent up The Borderlands.
Before I am to go any further; I must explain what exactly The Borderlands are. They are a gigantic range of mountans that encircle the land of Equestria on all sides. On the eastern side; where the Mane six are at presently, the hills are at their highest. Two of the larger peaks scrape the Exosphere. On these peaks there is a large glacier known as Blood Rock; for it contains an enormous ammount of Nethicite ore. Nethicite is as light as aluminum, and has the strenght of carbon-plated steel. It also naturally conducts electrictric pulses from the earth; making its own magnetic field. Some legends say that Nethicite was used by humans to exorcise the dead; trapping their eternal souls inside a Nethicite crystal. The Blood Rock also has tempratures regulating at about 30 kP, or -30 degrees Farenheight. Snow encapsulates the largest portion of the mountans; getting about 10-15 Kipps of snow, or 30 feet, anually. Hospitality; Agressive. Possibility of survival; .50%.
Clenching her compainion close, the two mares truge through the freezing snow. Though the frozen precipitation only reaches their ankles; the cold is vicious. Rainbow shudders; shaking the white death from her sholders and hair. "Why the f-f-fuck you th-think He made a fu-u-king place like this? I-it's dea-deadly to b-be out in th-this shit!" The blue Pegasus smirks to the pony; still unable to stop her incessent shivering. "Hey A-Applejack! J-Just when I s-sta-started feel my w-w-wings again, their f-fuckin' numb! N-Numb like a b-bitch!" The pony straightens her face, squinting to the far distance. "H-hey; Rainbow-w.... D-do you see'a tree up th'r?" The Pegasus looks straight ahead, trying to see the invisible tree. "No, I d-dont see s-shit-t." The pony whipes her hoof across her visage; blinking twice before looking up again. "I M-must'a b-been see'n sh-shit. J-just f-f-fuckin' great."
Farther and farther up the mountan, the ponies make their way. Bitter cold and freezing numbness attack every portion of their exposed bodies; threatening hypothermia with every slipped step. 8,772 Kipps above sea level, or 23,000 feet; the altitude is a killer. Low air pressure allows the blood vessels to expand, hightining the risk of deadly wounds. Also; the low air pressure makes for a difficult breath, making the ponies labor the already frigid air. "A-Applej-j-jack; I c-cant feel my f-fuckin' l-legs. G-god, I h-hate the f-fuckin' c-c-old." The Pegasus can now barely move her limbs, feeling the arrest of her joints alike invisible shackles to the ground. Rainbow cannot feel her feet, which have long-sience been frostbitten. She truges in the frozen rain unawares of anything her body may encounter. The mares hoof hits a sharp rock; slicing a small incision in her shin. Rainbow dosent know this untill she feels warmpth around her, and a sticky sensation on her knees. She looks down to see the snow is stained red with her own spilling blood; the cold acting as an anti-couagulient in her disfavor. She gingerly touches Applejack's shoulder (Or as gingerly as frozen limbs can) to gain her attention. The pony turns; immeaditly seeing the bloodied snow around her compainions legs. Applejack returns her vision back to Rainbow's face. The once strong and fearless visage that had made such an imprint on Ponyville was hollow; undermined by terror and mortification. "A-A.J, I d-d-don't t-think'ma g-g-gonna m-make it ou-outa this one. I'm l-losing t-t-too much b-b-lood." She looks back at her ankle, which has torn into a deep gash. The pony looks strongly into her friends eyes; trying to pound assurance into her fearfull mind. "R-Rainbow, w-w-were bol' g-gonna' ma-make it out'a h-h-here. D-don't you f-f-f-uckin' q-quit'n me n-now." The pegasus falls to her knees; her lower body going into arrest. "D-DON' YOU F-FUCKIN' DIE ON M-ME NOW! D-D-DON' YOU FU-FUCKIN' DARE!" The pony is on her knees now; shouting to her dying friend. "A-applej-j-ack...." The pegasus lay in the snow, unable to move her body at all. "Y-yea? W-Wat' is i-it?" Rainbow Dash's eyes; once passonate orbs of fire, now stare blankly back at the pony. "I-i... I...." The pony gets closer to the pony-in-death; desperate to hear what she has to say. Rainbow presses her lips against Applejack's, holding her friend with long-dead arms. Breaking away from the endeadend kiss; the blue Pegasus stares directly into her compainions eyes. "F-f-fuck, I g-guess t-t-his-s sh-shit r-r-really h-hap-p-pens!" Applejack laughs lovingly back to her friend; pushing the frozen hair from her face. "Y-ea. I g-guess i-it does-s." The mares eyes roll back in a half-hearted attempt of sarcasam. "G-guess I re-really got ta g-go. I wa-wanna be here w-w-with you, b-but...." The Pegasus body lay limp, eyes closing once and forever. Applejack gets a mad smile on her face, still holding the frozen body of her companion. Pressing her forehead against Rainbow's chest; Applejack begins to weep. "W-w-why h-her? W-W-HY DID S-SHE HA-HAVE TO D-D-DIE?" Lifting her body from the snow; Applejack cradles the limp figure of her best friend. Looking up to the black sky; the mare screams. "W-HY? WH-Y TW-TWICE? F-F-FUCKIN' TWICE!? H-H-HOW DID S-SHE DESER-R-RVE TH-THIS?! HOW-W?" Wandering up the snowy summit of the mountan; Applejack carries her friend for redemption.
