As I stepped off of the train, my eyes scanned my immediate surroundings. A quaint little town, Ponyville. Nopony here should know who I am. At least, I hope not. I heard this place held a more 'Classical' air than 'Rock' or 'Metal'. I looked over at my sister, Blue Moon, as she pushed a stray strand of silver hair away from her eyes.

"So, where to first?" She asked. I looked around again, hoping to see a notice or a sign.

"OH MY GOSH!!"

I sighed. Of course there have to be SOMEPONY to scream. I turned around.

"I'm sorry, we can't sign an autograph. You can't have a photo. I won't kiss you. Please leave us be, we only want to move into our new home." I really wish I hadn't said that. I opened my eyes in time to see a huge mess of curly pink hair completely flatten itself out and her face drop like a bomb.

"I only wanted to welcome you..." I felt my irritation leave me when I saw this, and I instinctively wrapped my wing around her. I don't really know why.

"Hey, don't be sad. I'm sorry. It's just I'm so used to being attacked by mobs of fans. I'd be happy for you to welcome us." I said with a smile.

"YIPEE!" The pink mare exclaimed, her hair inflating once again. "My name's Pinkie Pie, what's yours? OhmygoshIneedtothrowartyforyouandyouhavetomeetmyfriends!" I chuckled.

"That sounds like tons of fun, but first can you take us to Sugar Cube Corner? Our new house is right next door." She seemed to get even cuter when... Wait. Did I just... Nah. Can't have.

"OH MY GOSH!! I LIVE IN SUGAR CUBE CORNER!!" Pinkie exclaimed. I smiled warmly.

"Well I guess that makes us neighbours then." Blue Moon said, stepping forward. I jumped.

"Oh yeah. Pinkie, this is my sister Blue Moon and I'm Thunder Rift." Pinkie smiled what I'm guessing is her normal ear-to-ear smile. Like, seriously. It was actually touching her ears. I'm not even joking.

Pinkie showed us the way to Sugar Cube Corner, even offering to carry our bags. I couldn't have refused, seeing as she didn't really give us a choice. She just somehow managed to carry every piece of our luggage on her back without a care in the world. There's something about this mare. I can't quite place my hoof on it though... Oh well. I have a new friend before even getting to my house, so I'm not complaining. Pinkie told us about each of her friends in great detail, and I couldn't help but be astounded. She knew Celestia's top student, the greatest cider maker in Equestria, the designer that even Fancypants loves, the only Pegasus to pull off a Sonic Rainboom and the Pegasus that stared down a Cockatrice!

We arrived at my new home before I had gotten my head around Pinkie's friends. Blue Moon opened the door and took the luggage from Pinkie, thanking her while I walked into the kitchen and got us some drinks. I had made sure to keep the coffee away from the packing crew, and had already pulled out three mugs from a box. I made Pinkie a decaf though, as she already seemed hyper enough.

"I have to show you around! Come on!" Pinkie said after downing her drink. I looked to my sister, who nodded.

"Go on. I know you want to." She winked at the end of that. I gulped. Was I that easy to read? Oh well, Pinkie didn't seem to mind if she knew.

"Alright then, lets go." I replied, setting my mug on the counter. Pinkie squealed and dragged me out the front door.
