Scootaloo why are you living in the clubhouse? Why aren't you at your home?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Because my parents are horrible. They call me worthless and want nothing to do with me." Scootaloo says with a look of sadness and tears running down her face. Rainbow couldn't stand the sight of the sad little filly and said "Well I can't let a little pony like you live on your own. Come with me you can live with me for the meantime. Okay?" Scootaloo looked up to Rainbow and gave her a smile of happiness and said "Okay!" and gave Rainbow a hug. "Let me pack my things."

When they got to Rainbow's house she told Scootaloo to put her things in the bedroom at the end of the hallway. Scootaloo couldn't help but to tear up to the kindness of Rainbow Dash and said "Thank you Rainbow Dash for letting me live here." Rainbow Dash replied "No problem Scoot." Scootaloo went to the bedroom, the only thing in it was a bed and a television. She put her stuff down and made herself at home. Later Rainbow Dash asked Scootaloo to come in the living room. When she came in Rainbow Dash looked excited. "You called for me?" Scootaloo asked. "Yes." Replied Rainbow "What would you say if I adopted you?" Scootaloo was speechless she didn't know what to say but the most exciting "YES!" you ever heard.

The next day while Scootaloo was at school Rainbow Dash went to Twilight's library and told her the news. "Hey Twilight." "Hm? Oh! Hey Rainbow Dash what's up?" Twilight asked. "Well I've just agreed to adopt Scootaloo." Rainbow said happily. "That's great Rainbow! You'll make a great mother." "Yeah. Could you len me some parenting books?" Rainbow asked hopefully. "Oh Rainbow, parenting doesn't come from a book. It comes from your motherly instincts. Trust me when you spend more time with her you'll figure it out."

That afternoon when Rainbow was picking up Scootaloo because she can't fly yet. She asked her if she would like to spend the rest of the day with. Scootaloo said yes obviously. So that day until it was night they had the most fun they ever had. When they finally was ready to go home Rainbow told Scootaloo that, them being together was the most fun she ever had and can't wait for whatever happens next. It was the start of a new relationship of mother and daughter.
