Legends of Equestria: DemonStorm

Celestia sat silent staring out of the window. It had now been a whole week since the group of ponies had gone out to retrieve the Heart, and the alicorn goddess was getting worried. No word had been sent from them on any progress and the pony scout she sent to follow them has gone missing, presumably killed by the Demon. If so, it wouldn't be too far away from the group. She busted prayed to Faust they were kept safe. Suddenly the silence was disrupted. There was a strange noise that just, began. Something Celestia had heard before. Portal opening. She stood and shouted for some guards as the purple vortex began to form. Celestia had no idea what would come through, she prepared a spell and let her horn glow, finally the figure came through. It was, a pony? The portal closed behind a rouge build Earth pony of a dark cyan colour, much like Haze, with a short mane of orange with red highlights stood in front of the princess. The pony was a stallion and his cutie mark was that of a hammer. He had a saddle strapped to him and it held a rather large maul hammer made of stone and iron, it had black half moon shaped gem in the centre.

"Morning." The pony muttered, happily, he had a deep voice and spoke with a slight English accent.

"Hello?" Celestia greeted, confused, of all the things that could have come through the portal. The guards walked in.

"Where am I may I please ask." The pony asked.

"Canterlot, Equestria." Celestia replied.

"Well how the dickens did I end up here? Just now you see I was on Mars." He explained.

"Mars?"

"Yes, the big red planet in the sky. I was, well, I am, a freedom fighter for Mars, we fight the EDF, or Equestrian Defense Force. Now what in the worlds is going on?"

"You have been, transported."

"From Mars to Equestria in a matter of seconds? Impossible!"

"Well, not only Mars to Equestria, but I believe you have gone through dimensions."

"What kind of magic is this?"

"Enemy magic. The Multiverse is currently at war with the Void-Dwellers simply known as the Mo'ka and in response, they are destroying the Multiverse, bringing Universes closer, opening portals between them randomly and sending both Frieda and foe to here, the start of the revolt." Celestia explained.

"So, where does one join up to help this cause?" The pony asked.

"Just say the word and you are in, we are currently waiting on my knights to bring back a magical Heart that will restore this worlds magic. What is your name pony?" Celestia asked.

"My name is Slayer, may I have the pleasure of knowing yours."

"Princess Celestia, co ruler of this Equestria." Slayer bowed down.

"Ah, princess. I had no idea you were of royalty." Slayer muttered, then asked for forgiveness.

"No, the crown, giant castle or guards would've of given it away." Celestia muttered so the pony didn't hear.

"Hmm?" He asked.

"You are forgiven." Tia replied. The guards took the hint that Slayer was no threat and sort of buggered off on their own account.

"Thank you Your Majesty." Slayer said. Bowing again.

"Stop it." Celestia muttered. "Now. Tell me about your dimension, how is Mars, breathable?" She asked.

"It was Terraformed by the EDF."

"Terraformed?"

"Yeah, the unicorns in the EDC, Equestria Defence Council, build a machine that pumps oxygen and magic into any atmosphere, and it worked, well on Mars, they never tried anywhere else. Yet. Soon after pony colonies began the EDF took over, the first revolt started, which was soon crushed, now a second one has started, we are apparently being lead by some Pegasus Dash Mason, but I have never taken an order from him, let alone see him. My job is to charge into miltary bases and blow stuff up with a hammer." Slayer replied, looking to the weapon at his side.

"I see, who is in charge of Equestria?"

"The EDC, there are eight of them, all taking charge of Earth, the Moon base and the six colonies on Mars."

"No princesses?"

"We haven't had one in over two thousand years, the world has been lead by kings or queens, until the EDC began."

"I see."

"Yes. Indeed." Slayer muttered a reply. There was a knock on the now closed door.

"Come in." Celestia called, the door opened and a unicorn came in, gave a sealed letter to Celestia, bowed and walked out, closing the door.

"Letter?" Slayer asked.

"Yes. Hopefully from those ponies I said about earlier." Celestia muttered then opened the letter. She read, her eyes scanning every word, he emotion changing as she read.

"It appears, Equestria's old enemy, Changelings, are beginning to grow stronger. They attacked a supply train going to the Sky Dweller city in the east and claim they only made peace with Haze, an old friend, and now he's dead they want war again." Celestia grunted, upset by this news.

"Oh dear. Will there be war?"

"Hopefully not. I shall send my best advisor to try to talk them out of anything to rash, we are already at war with the Mo'ka. We can't fight each other on two fronts."

"No, of course not."

"Well then, I must be going. I shall get a room for you ready and you may stay in the castle if you so choose, but if not other accomadation will be provided, please excuse me." Celestia said and got up to walk out.
