Legends of Equestria: DemonStorm

A blizzard was raging, snow and ice fell from the sky mercilessly, pounding downwards onto the group of ponies and human. They were thankful of the armour they were harbouring but were still extremely cold. They walked at a snails pace through the thick snow, holding onto their clothing tightly.

"Well this sucks!" Nick shouted, he had been physically tied down to Steven in case he just blow away in the wind.

"What!" Spectra shouted.

"I think he says this sucks!" Rarity replied from somewhere nearby.

"He thinks these a duck?" Steven shouted.

"Duck!" Fluttershy asked.

"Fluttershy? Where are you?" Twilight shouted.

"Who is Butter cry?" Spectra asked.

"Everypony. Just move forward! Find a cave!" Twilight shouted.

"Okay. Where would a cave be?" Spectra replied.

"Dunno. Just keep moving." Shadow answered.

"Does anypony know where Dari is?" Applejack asked, the group were suddenly pushed back slightly as a gush of wind blew.

"Haven't seen her since we left the cave, I haven't seen fuck all since then!" Spectra shouted.

"What time is it? How long have we been at this?" Nick asked.

"Who knows, but we have to keep moving!" Dari suddenly shouted.

"Dari! How much further?" Spectra asked.

"I just said I don't know. The storm isn't normally this bad." She replied.

"Fuck!" Rainbow shouted.

"Rainbow?" Spectra replied.

"I think I found someone!" Rainbow shouted. "Yeah. There is a door, I am opening it." She added, out of the snow the outline of a tall building could be seen. Spectra began to walk toward it and called for everypony to follow. He rushed inside to find a very cold Rainbow already starting a fire with the tools she had in her saddle. Soon everypony began to drift inside, with some pushing even Steven managed to get in this rather large building. Rarity was the last in and closed the doors behind her, the blizzard outside dying down.

"Well. Now what?" Nick asked, warming himself up with his arms out. Everypony had curcled up near the fire and were near enough ready to sleep.

"We rest I hope." Rarity grunted.

"No. The fire might go out and we would freeze. A few can rest whilst overs of us go looking for the Heart. I would rather not be here longer than we should." Dari muttered.

"So we are in Old Equestria now?" Spectra asked.

"Of course. We just came in the wrong way, if we head east we should find the Heart." Dari replied, Spectra nodded and stood up.

"Okay then. I will go out, Crystal, Dari, Nick with me." Spectra declared.

"But I don't wanna go outside." Nick grunted.

"I come with you." Rainbow muttered.

"But." Spectra began.

"I am coming." Rainbow said.

"Fine. No use arguing. Nick stay here, lets move out." Spectra said, they walked to the doors, only to see them blue and cold, they had frozen shut.

"Fuck." Spectra muttered.

"Well now what!" Nick shouted.

"We unfreeze it smart ass." Steven replied. Rarity and Twilight stood up.

"Fine. Lets use some heat spell Twilight." Rarity muttered and the two began to cast spells on the door works. Everypony sat watching in silence. Only a strange alien noise filled the silence. A purple portal was beginning to form in the corner of the room. Everypony grabbed up weapons and prepared for battle.

"Now what?" Spectra shouted. The portal expanded then a pony popped out and the portal closed.

The figure sat still, not moving, smoke arose from his body and no detail could be made out from him.

"Hello? Are you hurt?" Nick asked, walking toward the pony.

"My head. Where. Where am I?" A very familiar voice said, the pony stood up and walked toward them. Barely a Cutie Mark they knew only to well, a dark cyan colour skin and a mix of red and blue hair. Two red eyes and a pair of messy wings. There was a piece of iron on one side of his body and he had a limp in his left leg.

"You. You feel." Rainbow muttered. There, in front of them, against all logic and odds. Stood Sir Bright Haze, very much alive.

"You asshole!" Nick shouted. Haze looked confused.

"Nick?" He asked.

"Yeah. Don't you ever fucking die on me again!" Nick shouted.

"But Nick, I am not dead. You were the one who died!" Haze shouted.

"What?" Nick asked. Haze noticed Heart Breaker standing up watching his best friend.

"I am sorry. I don't believe we have meant. Bright Haze is the name. Yours?" Haze asked, putting a hoof out.

"Excuse me." Heart Breaker replied, walking off. Spectra, Nick and Rainbow followed.

"What the hell was that?" Rainbow asked.

"He isn't our Haze." Heart Breaker muttered.

"Changeling?" Nick asked.

"No. At least I don't think so. He came through a portal yes, the same this Demon apparently came through." Heart Breaker began, everypony nodded. "Well those are portals to different dimensions in the Multiverse, Celestia explained this to me before we left. So there are an infinity amount of Universes with an infinity of Haze's. The pony anyway. So this Haze we now have before us, is just a pony sucked in from another Equestria to here as the Mo'ka destroy the Multiverse. He may have experienced roughly the same thing as old Haze, but differences may and will have differed in his life. Since I am human and brought to this dimension years ago. There is only one Heart Breaker, me. But this Haze will be the tiny piece of Multiverse that was created when Celestia altered his memories. This Haze may have even lead a completely different life after the Changeling war than of the one we know, knew. As he said, he has seen you die Nick." Heart Breaker explained.

"Of course. Why not." Spectra replied not taking any of that in.

"He is a different Haze." Heart Breaker muttered.

"Oh okay. Now wasn't that easy for everypony?" Spectra replied. The group walked back to Haze.

"Now Haze. You are not of this universe and shouldn't be here." Heart Breaker said.

"I know that. But why am I here?" He asked.

"There is an enemy. One our Haze, another you died fighting against. They have began to pull all the universes together to destroy them, and the after math of the universes getting closer creates this, portal thing. It picks random things from random universes and brings them here, since the enemy, the Mo'ka are most pissed at us." Heart Breaker explained.

"I see. Well if I am here, mind explaining why you are all here." Haze asked.

"We are finding a magical Heart that can restart the magic in Equestria." Dari muttered.

"Alrighty then. Can I join you?" Haze asked.

"Of course." Spectra replied.

"We may even let the story go first person to you again." Pinkie declared. Everypony paused but otherwise ignored it.

"Ok. So what is the plan?" Haze asked.

"We open those frozen doors and find the Heart and bring it home." Dari replied.

"Okay, seems fair enough."

"Haze. What was the last thing you remember?" Heart Breaker asked.

"I still haven't caught your name."

"Its Heart Breaker, me and the Haze of this world were best friends. I was his best stallion at his wedding."

"He was married?"

"Yeah, to Derpy Hooves, or Haze."

"I see. Well the last thing I remember was going to the Crystal Empire and stopping their king."

"With who?"

"Everypony in this room, except that tall creature over there and you Heart Breaker."

"Even Dari?"

"Of course, why?"

"She died in our world, not to long ago, about two years just about."

"Ah. Well the only people of this group to die has been Nick and Sol."

"Sol?"

"Yeah, tall black unicorn."

"We have Shadow but no Sol."

"Ah okay. Well that's it."

"I see. What of your adventures, what has happened?"

"Well. Let me see, I woke with no memory of anything outside Canterlot. We were told to go into Changeling land by Luna to kill the Changeling king. We did that, came home. Had a rest for a few months then were sent to burn down the Sky Dweller kingdom and then had to defeat the king in the Crystal Empire. I passed out and awoke here just after we blow the castle up."

"Violent world your in."

"Yeah, horrible place, we were the heroes."

"You mentioned Luna? No Celestia."

"Who?" Haze asked.

"We need to chat more about our two worlds. But for now we have a quest to do." Spectra muttered.

"Indeed." Bright Haze replied.
