Legends of Equestria: DemonStorm

The smoking figure of Bright Haze lay, clawing at anything he could reach, looking around with his white eye, a thin blood trail followed the dying pony where ever he moved, he kept calling for Spectra and Derpy, for Heart Breaker and Rainbow, for somepony to help.

"Haze, you died." Heart Breaker muttered.

"Heart. Help me. It hurts, it hurts so much. Where is Derpy?" Haze asked. Heart Breaker looked to the figure and began to weep. It was a sight no pony here would ever forget. Twilight began casting a spell to heal him, he screamed out as the magic touched him and Twilight stopped the spell.

"What's wrong?" Spectra asked. "Save him!" He shouted. Twilight looked down.

"I-I can't."

"What!" Spectra shouted again. Rainbow tried to calm him but his eyes were going red.

"Didn't you hear that scream. I tried to heal, to help, but he got even more hurt, this has only happened once in Equestria's history, but I believe he is allergic to magic, and spell. Even a simple heal spell could kill him."

"So you mean he is going to bleed out crawling until he dies of immense pain?" Spectra asked, Twilight nodded. Dari stepped forward, the Heart began to glow and so did the Siren. Her wings began to shine and she began to let out magic trails from each feather on her wings.

"Stand back, this is going to hurt. A lot." Dari said, glowing blue and purple.

"Who?" Steven asked, stepping back.

"Me. Now please, stand far back and do NOT for ANY reason stop me from the casting, it could kill us both." Dari replied, then turned to Haze. She let the trails cover Haze, who stopped moving and lay still. Dari began to wrap magic around Haze and after he was covered in the purple magic, the Pegasus began to scream. Loudly. Twilight stepped forward and Spectra grabbed her and pulled her back.

"Dari just said not to interrupt." Spectra muttered.

"But she is in pain."

"So is Haze, she can fix him. Anyway the Heart is helping her." Spectra pointed out, it was true, the stone Heart was letting off its own trail of magic, some to Haze and most to Dari, presumably to keep her full of magic for whatever spell she was casting.

"But he remembers Dee, how can we break the news she died and for whatever reason he is alive again?" Spectra asked.

"I will tell him." Heart Breaker replied.

"Who is that again?" Crystal asked.

"A friend." Spectra replied, then added. "The one who stopped your kind killing us all."

"Spectra." Rainbow muttered, the Pegasus colt just smiled. Dari screamed again, the magic had now lifted Haze into the air and was swarming over him. Dari muttered something and then the spell ended, the magic cut out, Haze fell to the ground, Dari passed out and then. The Heart let out an explosion of magic, making the world go white for a while. Spectra stood up first, blinded by the light that had appeared. It was pure white and was blocking any sight of Dari, Haze or the Heart. Spectra called out to Dari or Haze, neither replied.

"Shit!" He shouted, moving forward, then was blasted back by some shield conjured up by the white light. "Haze!" Spectra shouted.

"It is King-Sir Bright Haze, Hero of Equestria and damn fine friend, to you!" The voice of Haze replied.

"Haze?" Spectra asked.

"What Spectra?" The bright light slowly disappeared to show a very much alive Bright Haze, wings glowing white standing tall in front of the Heart. Dari stood next to him, wingless.

"Dari. What happened to you wings?" Spectra asked.

"I gave them up, along with my Siren powers, I gave my magic in healing Haze and the Heart decided it would make Haze here, a Siren."

"Fuck me." Haze muttered, smiling. Dari walked forward to Heart Breaker.

"I have altered his memory slightly too, not forgetting Derpy, but so she died much more long ago, he has been dead nearly five years, agreed?" Dari asked.

"Good plan, but it might not work. But I will keep it up as long as I can. What has he missed?" Heart Breaker asked.

"Nothing. It has just been five years more than it should have been. He never had a kid though, there was no way I could stop him grieving for Tage. Its cruel but I saw him killing himself." Dari replied.

"I see, how did you know?"

"I was in his mind healing him, fighting Death and Corruption to stop him dying. I was in so much pain, I saw everything that has ever come into his mind, something no pony should do. But he is alive, and Realitively happy. Until he meets the Mo'ka. Then he will rage more than Red does." Dari muttered, nodding to Spectra who, alike everypony else, but Crystal, were standing around Haze.

"I see. Well go tell everypony else, I will distract him." Heart Breaker replied. Dari nodded and walked away, Heart Breaker gestured to Haze and he walked over, everypony then gathered round Dari.

"Well then Haze. Welcome back to the living, again. Been a while." Heart Breaker muttered, smilng his friend was back.

"Aye. Just a little, what is that creature standing over there?" Haze asked pointing to Crystal.

"Its a human, they invaded Equestria, you flow up and closed the portal between here and their world. He is a survivor, a friendly, we hope." Heart Breaker replied.

"Ah of course. Yeah." Haze muttered staring at Crystal. "Well, what have I missed?"

"Nothing much, we have been at peace since the Human invasion, we made clean up teams that looked through Equestria to hunt down lost humans, we developed gun weaponry, just improvised types of the human Decay gun, like a crossbow saddle, but with an awesome gun on it. There is apparently a Demon somewhere in Equestria which we can't deal with right now and we are bringing this Heart back to Canterlot to restart the magic of Equestria, we are suck in a time space between day and night. Have been for months." Heart Breaker replied. "I will fill in any other gaps, the most important thing is that these Mo'ka bastards, are not dead. So we are going to war with them." Heart Breaker added.

"A war against the enemy that killed me. Lets go then."

"Aye, let's." Heart Breaker muttered, filled with sorrow for his resurrect friend.
