Luna is a simple little unicorn princess.
She has no control over her moon, of which her father controlled before her.
It is now her duty to earn her wings and claim back equestria from the many evil beings taking over.
But before she can, she must learn how to live without the only love she's had from forever before, her father.
Celestia is new to her alicorn status, and is still a child herself. but as the days carry out, and her sister grows weary of attention, it is up to her to keep Equestria at peace. Luna finally gives in to the haunting of wanting attention.
This is where Celestia makes up her mind and has to send her to the moon, for safety of Luna and her subjects.
