Vergil in Equestria

"This your town?" Dante asked after getting a glance at Ponyville.

"Eeyup." Applejack said.

"... Well I gotta say it's a lot cleaner than my place." The demon hunter said.

"Well.... How about the ten-bit tour?" Dash asked,

"Only 20% cooler?"

"Well looks like someone knows how to have a good time.... Unlike some other ponies." The demon hunter said glaring at the other ponies and Vergil.

The two then took off flying.

I give him twenty minutes before he starts causing trouble. Vergil thought.

"Vergil..... Why's your brother a jerk?" Twilight asked.

"I said he can be complicated at times." The dark slayer said.

"Well Ah'm not so sure that your brother's got any kind of manners." Applejack said.

"He's not much for being nice. And he's a fool." Vergil said.

"Well that's not a very nice thing to say about your brother." Fluttershy said.

"I know.... That's because I deeply despise him." Vergil said darkly.

Everypony gasped at that comment. Vergil hated his brother? Many brothers do have trouble getting along but to actually meet somepony who actually deeply hates his other brother? That's unheard of.

"He doesn't exactly like me either." The dark slayer added.

"Why?" The lavender unicorn asked.

A thought went through Vergil's head to the day where they fought each other at the top of Temin-Ni-Gru where he fatally wounded his brother and stabbed him viciously with his own sword.

"Our relationship is......... complicated." the dark slayer said.

"Well have you ever considered giving your brother a chance to help you out?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"The only way he could help is help make a mess of things." Vergil said insultingly.

Suddenly a giant crashing noise was heard and shouting voices.

"HEY!!!! THIS GUY'S NUTS!!!!"

"Maybe this'll teach you a lesson." Dante's voice said.

Vergil groaned.

"I knew this would happen." He said.

"What?" The orange cowpony asked.

"It appears my brother has gotten himself into a fight." Vergil answered.

Our heroes than trotted off in the direction of Ponyville.

Dante was beating the crap out of a gang and having a hell of a good time.

"Have another.... and another." He went pounding the shit out of the gang.

The demon hunter had just finished bucking the last gang member and all three of them were on the ground weak.

"P-p-p-p-p-p-please don't hurt us anymore. We give up!!" The leader shouted.

"Sorry but I don't go for the giving up types." Dante said drawing Ivory,

"I go for the never mess with others ever again types."

He was about to fire a bullet when he heard someone shout,

"THAT IS ENOUGH!!!"

He turned around and saw his brother Vergil with the most infuriated look on his face with the others.

"Stop this madness at once."

"Hey but out of this, bro. I'm just keeping Dash over there safe from those idiots who made fun of her." Dante said.

"Well here's a news flash, Dante. You're not exactly the most trustworthy person for protection." Vergil said.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" The demon hunter shouted.

"It means you stink at protecting people!!!" The dark slayer shouted back.

"Well I know what I am great at... Giving guys a beatdown!!!" Dante shouted unsheathing Rebellion.

"Please I'll cut you down so many times a doctor won't know what stiching to use." Vergil said unsheathing Yamato.

The two then stared down each other with glaring fury. They then charged each other as they're weapons clashed together but before they could strike again they will pulled apart.

"Please stop." Twilight's voice said.

Her horn was glowing and they found they were caught in a magical aura.

"I really appreciate it if you would not fight." She said.

"Yeah.... You might cause some destruction." Dash said.

"Hey. I'm the one who protected you from those idiots." Dante said.

"Well I didn't ask for your protection." The blue pegasus said.

"Well you sure sounded like you needed it." The demon hunter said.

"Okay let's not split hairs." Twilight said.

She eventually released the two demon brothers as Vergil placed Yamato back into it's holster and Dante placed Rebellion onto his back.

"Now that that's settled Mr. Dante.... Considering you might be here for awhile until I find a spell to send you two back.... Where would you like to live?" She asked.

"Well I don't know maybe.... I'm sticking with Rainbow fricking awesome Dash here." He said quickly.

"Okay fine..... You can stay with me." Dash said.

"Great.... So where's your house?" The demon hunter asked.

"It's a cloud house all the way over there.... Don't worry pegasi can stand on clouds so you won't worry about falling through." The blue pegasus said.

"That's pretty cool for a very..... confident and awesome pony like yourself." Dante said turning on his charm.

Dash blushed at that comment as the two took off.

"Oi..... My brother's trying to get a girlfriend...... He's really bad at trying to pick up a date." The dark slayer said.

"You don't say huh?" Twilight asked.

"I'll let him have his fun but I highly doubt he's going to get her as his date." The dark slayer said.

"So this your place huh?" Dante asked.

"Yep, pretty rad huh?" Dash answered.

"Yep." The demon hunter said.

He then trotted around the house and admired ever detail.

"A lot cleaner than my shop: Devil May Cry."

"Devil May Cry? What's that?" The blue pegasus asked.

"My shop, place of business, headquarters. It's a demon hunting business. I travel around my town and sometimes all over the world in search of demons and when I find them I slay them. Just like that dragon." Dante said.

"Wow.... That's a radical job. I'm a weather manager. I make the weather here in Ponyville." Dash said.

"You control the weather? Where I'm from the weather works naturally." The demon hunter explained.

"Really? What's your world like?" Dash asked.

"It's a mess.... well where I live everything else is fine. Everyday I look at my town and see the buildings rotted, the people sick and dying and it's crawling with thieves and gangs waiting the lay the smackdown on the people and take their valuables." Dante said,

"But this place...... It's so peaceful. All the denizens are nice, everyone gets along and I haven't seen one demon. Kind of like my own personal vacation."

He then scooted a chair and laid on it while leaning on the chair and putting his back hooves on a table.

"Your world seems very..... sad." The blue pegasus said.

"You haven't seen sad yet.... Back in my original world: the demon world when me and Vergil were eight years old our mother gave us each a part of our father Sparda's perfect amulet. However my bro wanted choclate instead, he was more fun back then and less cold. But then it happened. Demons broke into our home with intention to kill us. I wanted to help but mom told me not to move from a hiding spot at all. I waited for her to come back but when I looked up I saw her.... on the ground.... in pieces.... dead." Dante said in a very sad tone,

"It really hurt for Vergil..... he blamed himself for her death but I tried to calm him down but he just wouldn't listen and that was the last time I saw him.... till a couple years later."

He then reached into his coat and pulled his half of the amulet and turned it over which had the words 'Spada and Eva' on it.

"I'm so sorry." Dash said.

"Don't be. I just sometimes lay awake at night wishing for her to come back..... Well I know my father, Sparda, is alive but I just don't where he is. He went missing for years."  Dante said.

He then put the amulet back in his coat.

"Well I'm done with this stroll down memory lane. I'm gonna hit the sack." The demon hunter said.

He trotted up the stairs and the blue pegasus said,

"I know what your going through."

"Huh?" Dante said confused.

"I haven't seen my folks in a long time. After I graduated from school I moved to Ponyville and they haven't visited me ever since." Dash answered,

"It hurts when you can't see your own family."

"I know. But my bro's here. But we don't exactly get along. We have different points of view. I like having fun and he's obsessed with trying to get ultimate power. I always wonder what he's gonna do with that power. Just thinking about it just worries me." The demon hunter said,

"Okay now it's time I hit the hay. Night."

He then trotted again until he found the guest room and closed the door. He hanged his coat on a rack and put Rebellion on a table and then laid on his bed and then looked at his flank and at his cutie mark: His sword Rebellion and his guns Ebony and Ivory.

Dash sure knew how to handle her pain. I had to deal with the pain of my mother's death for years but she looks fine. And that...... rainbow mane that flows in the wind and her smile that could shine the world.... WAIT WHAT AM I THINKING??!! I'm supposed to get the girl to fall for me not the other way around.... but that speed it's so fast I can barely keep my eyes on her...... If I could catch up to her I'd have a little 'fun' with her in any position I want and any time I.... DOH!!! Stop it brain. The demon hunter thought argued to his brain.

He then eventually tired himself out and fell asleep.

Vergil tossed and turned in his own bed and kept having trouble sleeping.

Why is my brother here? Aren't supposed to be the only one who has to go through torture? Well I do remember there being a shining light above me before a light veil surrounded me...... That light must of brought Dante here. He thought to himself,

Yet he seemed different. Not the usual cocky, hotheaded brother I know.... Well he's still that but he also protected Rainbow Dash........ Has he changed as much as I am? I'll worry about that some other time.

Vergil was still sleeping and then suddenly heard a sound outside that sounded like a lot of flapping. He opened the shades and saw a bajillion colored balls with eyes and mouths and wings fluttering around and eating all the food.

"What the hell?!" He swore.

He grabbed Yamato off of the table and his coat off of the rack and put it on quickly and then rushed downstairs and said,

"Twilight!!! There's a bajillion filthy bugs outside eating every..... Oh my god."

The same bugs had made they're way in and eating the food. Twilight was trying to get them out by levitating them out.

"Vergil. I'm so glad your up. You gotta help me. Parasprites have invaded Ponyville and are eating everything.... And even worse we gotta get them out as soon as possible because Princess Celestia is going to be here soon." She said.

"Have you tried bug spray?" The dark slayer asked.

"You don't think I have?!" Twilight asked.

Vergil spotted a parasprite chowing on food in a microwave and then slammed it shut and then started the heating process. Then in a matter of seconds the bug exploded into goop.

"Oh... my..." Twilight went witnessing the whole thing and then threw up a little in her mouth.

"Huh... They're easier to kill than I thought. We're going to need a giant microwave and then lead all the parasprites into it and then shut it, heat them up, they explode into goop and problem solved." The dark slayer explained.

"How about a less disgusting and safer plan?" The lavender unicorn asked.

The two then trotted outside and then Twilight lit up her horn and it covered the entire town and the Parasprites.

"There. Now the parasprites will stop eating the food." She said.

That calmness didn't last long because pretty soon after they began eating everything else.

"Great plan.... Now they're gonna eat everything else including the kitchen sink." The dark slayer said,

"Now how about we go back to my plan with the giant microwave."

He heard chewing sounds and found that a couple Parasprites were chewing on Yamato.

"Hey! Mouths off!!" He shouted.

He then cut into pieces getting Yamato free but with bite marks and the blade ruined.

"Can this day get anymore worse or weirder?!!" He asked.

Suddenly the entire town heard the sounds of a bajillion instruments. He looked over and found Pinkie Pie playing all sorts of instruments.

"What is she doing?! We're in the middle of a bug infestation not a battle of the bands!!!" Vergil shouted furiously at Pinkie's stupidity.

However his furiousness didn't last long as the bugs seemed to be entranced by the instrument and Pinkie led them into the Everfree Forest.

"Huh.... It appears I was wrong about Miss Pie..... This time." The dark slayer said.

And on cue a golden chariot came down and on it was Princess Celestia herself.

"Princess Celestia." Twilight said.

When everypony saw they're ruler they bowed in respect and so did Vergil.

"It's quite an honor to meet you once again your majesty." The dark slayer said.

"Please... Call me Celestia, Vergil." The sun princess said.

Suddenly over the hill one Dante eyed the town in shambles. Everypony looked at him in silence and he broke it by saying,

"What did I miss? I slept in."

He then eyed Celestia.

"And who's the tall one?"

"Dante, meet Princess Celestia... Ruler of this fair land. Princess Celestia meet my twin brother, Dante." The dark slayer said.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Dante." Celestia said.

"Ditto." The demon hunter said.

"Although how I'd like to get to know you more Dante I have to report back to Canterlot.... Aparently the throne room has been invaded by very tiny and annoying pests who seem to be eating everything." The princess said.

Vergil then knew she was talking about the Parasprites and quickly as she came she quickly left.

"Okay.... can somebody please explain to me what just happened?" Dante asked.

Vergil went back to bed and then saw something shiny..... he picked it up and saw that it was a ticket to something called the Grand Galloping Gala.

Dante found a ticket in his coat pocket and it was  a ticket reading 'This ticket permits Mr. Dante to participate in the Grand Galloping Gala'

"Huh.... Looks like I better stop by the sewing place and find me a suit."
