The morning sun rose in Equestria all the ponies who weren’t already awake from the news they had heard yesterday were just waking up. They started heading down to the royal cafeteria for breakfast. Applejack got pancakes and sausage so did Rarity. Rainbow Dash got waffles orange juice and bacon. Twilight got a grilled cheese and milk. Pinkie Pie had chocolate cake and chocolate milk. Fluttershy was too scared and worried to eat anything. 20 minutes later Cadence and Celestia walked into the cafeteria, sat down, and ate. Luna woke up, came in, and sat next to Celestia. She whispered to her that she believed in her. After almost half, an hour of eating Twilight finale broke the silence and started to speak.

“Friends I just wanted to say as are finale hours together that I love you girls and that I wish you all the best of luck.”

“I can’t believe this happened to us how can somepony be so strong.”

“Rainbow Dash I know this is crazy but it’s the only way unless we want all of us dead. Oh no hey um Applejack Pinkie Pie its 9:30 you have to go to the Battle field and get pre pared the battle begins at 10.

Applejack gulped and hugged Pinkie Pie and they headed down stairs. All the others wished them luck as they headed down now tears ran down all their eyes most of their eye sockets were dry from all the crying they have been doing the past two days. The ponies looked out the window to see other ponies from around Equestria coming to watch the brutal games. Everypony knew they were not forced to be their but some came for the show the entertainment to watch best friends kill each other. Those sick bastards Applejack thought to herself coming to watch for entertainment that is crazy somepony would do that. That’s less of the problem right now thought because in a matter of minutes she would be in a death battle with her best friend. They entered on the battlefield and were welcomed by two royal guards who had read them rules.

“Rule 1 No biting rule 2 do not kill any spec tatters if you do you will be automatically disqualified which means death rule 3 if you do not kill each other in 30 minutes you both will be killed.”

“Only 30 minutes I guess he has no care for feelings that mean mean pony.”

“He is an enemy Pinkie Pie he doesn’t care about feelings he just wants most of us dead and his one winner it’s the only way to send him back to where he belongs. In hell he should burn in hell for what he is doing I can’t believe someone like that was blessed not only as an alicorn but so darn strong.”

Both ponies looked at the weapons for a bit and started picking them up and practicing Applejack was good with a pegged mace Pinkie Pie seemed to do good with a spear. After almost 10 minutes of practice ponies started filling the stands then Pinkie Pie saw them and showed Applejack they both dropped their weapons and started to cry again they saw there other four friends loading into the front of the seating stands crying and waving. Both of them waved back knowing this may be the last time they may see them. The guards let them come down for only a minute and say what they want to but what Applejack heard shocked her. Rarity said to her

“You have to win this match I know you can do it.”

Applejack stood stunned that one of her friends was wishing her luck to kill one of their friends why she asked she had no response she walked back to the stands with the rest of them. Then they saw him fly in Dent Death he landed at the top in a huge box. He was huge his wings had a span of at least 10 feet his horn 5 feet he was 2x as large as Celestia. He had a dark grey coat and his mane was a very bloody red. He was a very scary sight to see. His eyes were a menacing shade of yellow they looked strait though you and made you blood run as cold as a frozen pond. The speakers came on and announced that the battle will begin in 5 minutes. That’s when something Applejack never thought she would hear came out of Pinkie Pie’s mouth by this point she thought she was dreaming. Nobody would believe what she had said.

“Look Applejack I know we are super-duper best friends am not going to lose looks like I’ll do what I have to sorry it came to this but I really really don’t feel like dying today or the next day. Plus I can’t leave Mr. and Mrs. Cake.”

“Pinkie you give in that quick just to win I can’t believe you would say something like to me your best friend. I know you don’t want to lose neither do I but you gave in so fast I can’t believe that.”

The intercom came back on and said the following words

“Welcome everypony to the first round of death battle are first round is between Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Count down from 30 seconds begins now at 0 you may grab weapons and begin.”

At first Applejack was mad that the announcer said it so normally but then realized Dent Death was probably making her say it that way. 10 .9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2. 1 the match began the most tears ever ran down the other ponies faces Pinkie Pie was determined to win she grabbed 10 shurikens’ and a helmet. She raced towards Applejack had a shuriken in her hoof ready. Applejack took her time to put armor on first and put much more on then pinkie she put on a chest plate, a helmet, hoof protectors, and flank protectors. Lucky she did a shuriken kit one of her food protectors deflected off and just missed Pinkie Pie. Twilight started crying more realizing Pinkie was somewhat ok with killing Applejack just to win. Applejack grabbed a spear and ran she had no idea of what to do some times she was ready to kill pinkie but then she couldn’t bring herself to do it. Pinkie didn’t give up though she kept running with Applejack. Applejack was hoping to eventually tire out Pinkie. It took a while but after almost 7 minutes of running Pinkie Pie was starting to slow down. Therefore, she threw two shurikens at Applejack she dodged one but the other hit her neck it was not a serious injury but some blood started to slowly come out of her neck Applejack gave out a little scream in pain and saw where some of the supplies were was Band-Aids and pain killers. She raced for the medicine. Pinkie knew that she would be heading for it. But what she didn’t know is that Applejack knew pinkie would think she would run strait for the medicine so she ran past the supplies took a shuriken and threw it at Pinkie It hit her mask Pinkie realized she needed more armor that she was lucky it hit the helmet. While pinkie was distracted Applejack was able to get the medicine she needed and get ready for when Pinkie was done. Now she could have just run up to pinkie and finish this battle but pinkie would be alerted by the roaring cheers of the crowd. Therefore, she stood for a minute or two waiting for Pinkie Pie.

“Applejack that really hurt me a whole bunch what you just did why do that to your best friend in the whole entire world.”

“Pinkie I know what you’re trying to do make me feel bad and sorry for you and make me to chicken and upset to kill you your deserving to die knowing you would do that to me just 40 minutes ago we were very great friends and that quickly you turn on me fuck you AHH!!!!!!!!!!!”

She ran up to her with spear in one hoof and ready to do this no holding back she thought to herself no holdin- she stopped and broke out crying.

“Why does it have to come to this why must I kill you how come there is no other way?”

Pinkie Pie was still not giving up another weapon was thrown not a shuriken but a knife. A survival knife flew past Applejack hitting and sticking to the wall. Applejack had her spear ready for what came next. Pinkie made another move moving right left right left trying to throw Applejacks vision off balance. It didn’t one bit Applejack moved to her far right then Pinkie Pie tried stabbing her with a knife but Applejack blocked it with her spear then pushed pinkie off of her. She fell to the ground and held her back in pain it was a rocky terrain to be fighting on. Applejack looked up at the clock and saw 10 minutes remained before they both would be killed. Applejack bucked Pinkie right as she was about to get up. Pinkie was slowly losing the will to battle AJ she was seriously injured a buck from Applejack is as powerful as Twilights tree house falling on you. Not that anypony knew what that fell like but hey, it’s a metaphor. Pinkie got up and buckshot from AJ pinkie hit the wall and fell to the ground now holding her neck in pain she had a broken collar bone. AJ started to cry again but quickly stopped because that’s what pinkie wants her to do. AJ did not at all see it coming another shuriken this time hit one of her unprotected areas on her leg. Blood started to leak out this gave pinkie time to recover from her wounds and get medicine. Silence fell in the crowd as Applejack screamed out in pain and crying she realized a few pain pills and other stuff to stop the pain and heal the wound. Once more crying came from the other four friends.
“That’s it Applejack let me end it quick for you.”

Pinkie was about to stab Applejack when AJ got a hold of it and continually stabbed pinkie while crying after almost 20 stabs AJ fell back and curled up crying and breathing heavily. A guard came on this field and checked Pinkie Pie’s pulse no response she was dead. The speaker came on and announced Applejack as the winner of Battle 1 and that we had a 30 minute rest and break before Twilight went up against Rainbow dash. They went to grab a snack when Rainbow dash came up behind her and said.

“You did what you had to AJ it’s not your fault.”

“ I know dash I am still upset about it she was my friend she was all of ours I wish you luck for what happens on the field with you and Twilight.”

Only people who watched the fight talked during the intermission some asked AJ what it felt like she kept saying no comment but everyone kept asking and asking her finally, she spoke up.

“YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT WAS LIKE IT WAS A TERIABLE EXPERIENCE IMAGINE ONE NIGHT YOUR HAVING FUN AND LAUGHS THEN THE NEXT DAY YOU HAVE TO KILL HER AND HOW DARE YOU COME FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT YOU SHOULD BE FORCED TO KILL YOU FRIENDS SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SICK FUCKS I SAID IT! SICK FUCKS!”

Everyone stood in shock of was she said nopony asked any more question after that and some even left the field because they knew AJ was right that they were sick and wrong to ask question about her killing her friend. Applejack did not have a big apatite after the battle she only hap Apple slices and a small sandwich. Rainbow dash took her time to get prepared for her fight after all Twilight was a magical pony, which could be a very tough challenge for anypony. Applejack was then informed she would sit in one of the boxes near Dent Death. For a while, she was really worried. However, in a way she would have his respect for being a winner. In her head she wanted Twilight to win because she could never have the will and strength to fight Rainbow dash who was her best best friend out of all of them they were both sporty people and liked a lot of things. Then she realized if either one of them won she would lose Rainbow dash could fly and Twilight was a great magic pony. Her heart started pumping faster than ever.
