Upon looking for a book to read during her stay in Canterlot, Twilight comes across a mysterious book, and decides to read it. What she finds, is a piece of forgotten history of Equestria, and the exploits of two particular ponies.

Fate works in mysterious ways, but none more so than for the young pony Chrono. This tale follows Chrono as he comes to discover his purpose.
