Chapters Chapter one
In the city of manehattan a young filly was born with a dark blue and cyan colored mane and tail, with the most stunning red eyes in all of Equestria. The filly's mother and father were so happy for this new life that they could call their daughter. The young fillys mother questioned to the father "What should we name her?"
They went back in forth eith names until her Father finally said "What about Vinyl?"
"Oh dear, that is a perfect name, Vinyl. My sweet sweet Vinyl." A few years past and the filly was now 2 weeks away from her eighth birthday. "Oh Vinyl could you come here?" the filly's mother called to her.
"Yea mom, whats up?" Vinyl asked her mother as she walked into the kitchen where she was cooking up dinner or the family.
"Now i know your birthday is coming up and i wanted to know what you were thinking you wanted to get?" her mother questioned
"Well, now that you mention it im not really sure my friend Lyra down the road her cousin just came in from Las Pegasus and he had something called a turn table and they looked pretty cool so i was wondering if i could maybe get one?" Looking to her mother with her big red eyes trying to smuther her mom into getting her one.
"A turntable huh, what would you do with one of those anyways?" Vinyls mother asked her.
"I don't know, I saw that you and dad had some old records out in the shed and i was wondering if i could listen to them sometime. And if I had one of them I could listen to some."
"Ok well I'll see what we can do, but im not making any promises so don't get your hopes to high now, some of those are pretty expensive and we are a little short on money. Now go along and play with your friends while I finish cooking." Her mother told her in a bit of a sorrowful tone. The next few weeks were the longest that Vinyl had even experenced in her life she was counting down the seconds until her birthday. Finally the young filly's birthday had arrived her parents came and woke her up a little earlier that morning to wish their daughter a happy eighth birthday.
"Happy birthday Vinyl!" Her parents had yelled as they walked into her room. The filly woke up instantaneously with joy.
"Oh Celestia thank you! I thought this day would never come!" The filly praised.
"Now we got you something for your birthday I think your ganna like." her mother said with a very happy voice. Her parents gave her the present and the young Vinyl noticed the shape of the box.
"Oh my gosh is it really what i asked for?!?" she said in her head. When she finished ripping the wrapping paper to shreds her face had changed to a little less happy face to see it wasn't the tables she had wished for. She sat on her bed to see that what was really in the box was just a couple items of clothing. "Is this all?" the filly questioned in a bit of a sad tone to her parents.
"Well you see sweatheart, your mother and I couldnt afford all the nice new things you wanted but hey its not about the gifts its about celibrating your life. Im sorry we couldnt get you what you wanted." Vinyl's father said in a very upsetting tone
"Its ok, well hey its better then nothing right?" Vinyl said to her parents "Thank you so much I love you guys."
"Ok well hurry get ready you have school soon get ready and come down stairs for your birthday breakfast." her mother said to her. Once at school Vinyl told her friends about her "amazing" birthday suprise her parents gave.
"I just wish they would have gotten me one you know?" Vinyl said to her friend Lyra.
"Well hey it could have been worse. I mean thats better than what I got for my last birthday, last time all I got was a stupid goldfish that died like 3 days later, so much for a great present right?"
"Haha yeah i guess your right it could have been worse." The two exchanged laughs with eachother. "Well ive gotta go to class ill see you later after school."
"Oh you mean right after school?" Lyra asked in a concerning tone.
"Yea why do you have plans?" Vinyl asked her friend.
"Yea very busy probably wont be able to hangout till tomorrow, sorry got to go dont wanna be late." her friend said as she walked away from her friend.
"Thats weird Lyra never does anything after school whats with that pony? And hey she never said happy birthday to me . somethings going on." Vinyl said to herself questioning her friends reaction. Later that day after school Vinyl got a text from her mother asking to run to the store to pick up some milk and bread for dinner tonight. This seemed strange since the store was on the other side of town and her mother would usually go but Vinyl just blew it off as if it were nothing. After walking almost 4 miles the young filly was exhausted from walking and just wanted to go home and take a nap but what happened to her was a bit of a suprise to her.
"SUPRISE!!!" a large group of ponies shouted as she walked into her house nearly giving the filly a heart attack. The young mare was so excited to see all her friends and family.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY VINYL!!!" The young green filly finally said to her friend as she jumped on top of her friend.
"I thought you said you were busy today?" The pinned filly questioned her friend.
"Well I was you silly filly I had to help your mom put all this together." Lyra said to her friend.
"Well then I guess you're off the hook for now." The two fillies laughed together at what she had just said. After Vinyl and all her friend played and ate the most amazing carrot cake they oped presents. She got all kinds of little trinkets and cloths and toys but there was one last gift that needed to be opened. As the birthday pony opened her last present she had no other reaction but to scream and hug her parents. It was the turntables she so desperately wanted.
Chapter two
The young filly stared with pride at her new gift that she had received for her birthday. She was speech less when she finally found the words. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Its perfect!"
"Do you like it sweet heart?" Vinyl's mother asked as she tried to hold back joyfull tears at the sight of young Vinyl's mesmerized eyes at the turntable.
"Yes, yes a million times yes." Vinyl took the turntable into her room and ran out to the shed to get the old records that her parents had. She placed one record on the table totally forgetting how to use it when she inally remembered Lyras cousin did something like move it around with his hoof and it was called scratching the record. Vinyl did so, finding that it makes a noise she had never heard before but she new she liked it. She quickly realized how to work the table and found that if she moved it just before a good beat it sounded a lot better she was up all night working with it trying to find the best places to scratch the record. The next morning when she woke she did her normal routine get up take a shower brush her teeth eat breakast and go to school but just before she got out the door Vinyls name was called.
"Vinyl whats that? Did you sit in ink?" Her mother asked the filly realizing what it actually was. Vinyl turned to see what her mother was talking about.
"My cutie mark!" Vinyl shouted with joy. Her cutie mark was two eighth notes tied together on her flank. "How did i get it mom?" Vinyl questioned her mother.
"I'm not sure could it have been you up all night playing music?" Vinyl quickly relized that it was because it was from the turntables she knew that this was what she was ment to do.
Later in the years Vinyl was now 17, her talent grew she was now creating her own music and was now working for a music company called Thee Manehatten Music . They had their own radio tower so that ponies everywhere could listen to the hottest music. Vinyl was just an intern for the main Dj, she gave him CDs to play in the turntable but the raido broadcaster never did what Vinyl did how she moved the music in away nopony else could. That night the dj left home a little earlier than usually but he wanted Vinyl to play on last song for the night and for her to close up the studio when the song had finished. After the song had ended Vinyl did as she was told she turned everything off and walked out the door. Not taking more then five steps she turned around and said to herself "C'mon just once...No I cant I could get fired...But what if I go off the air?" she sat there thinking to herself for no more than 30 seconds before dashing back in the studio. She placed a disc by some random artist it was a decent song but then Vinyl said into the mic not noticing the behind her the On Air
"Vinyl could you please come in my office?" Her boss asked as he receeded back into the office.
"Yes what can I do for ya." She said trying to act like nothing last night happened.
"How long have you worked here?" The pony asked
"Um almost a year sir, why?" Vinyl questioned
"Almost a year huh, by now I would think you would have known that all the radio studios have cameras in them."
"I can explain sir." Vinyl said right after his comment to her
"No need for excuses, Vinyl somepony like you doesnt need to be working here"
"Please sir i dont have anywhere else to work please dont fire me!" She said cutting of her boss
"Hey now i never said i was firing you, if you would have let me finished I was going to say I know somepony who lives just south in Filly Delphia." he said as he slide a business card across the desk "Somepony with your kind of talent needs to be heard all across equestria your going to be famous i can feel it."
"Oh Celestia thank you, your the greatest!" Vinyl hugged the pony across the desk from her. She ran home to go tell her parents of the great news. Vinyl burst into the house to tell her mother of the great news only to find her mother being held by Vinyls aunt as both of them cried. "Mom? Whats wrong?"
"Vinyl come here." Her mother grabbed her sobbing and holding on to her "It's your father Vinyl h-hes dead, there was an accident when he was on his way home an-and..." Sobbing uncontrollably she could only hold on to her daughter

Chapter three
"Whoa whoa whoa what...your joking right? Please tell me this is all some big joke" Vinyl said to her mother with terror in her eyes.
"Oh darling I wish I were b-but hes gone." her mother said, still sobbing uncontrollably.
"No, no this cant be!" she said dropping the card her boss gave her as tears began to pour from her eyes. Vinyl just sat there holding her mother never wanting to let go in ear that if she let go her mother would vanish from her as her father just had. Later that week they attended the fathers funeral and since that moment Vinyl started slipping into a deep depression. She started to drink to make the pain go away but it wasn't helping so she drank even more. Due to all her hangovers she found that looking at any sort of light was totally blinding to her so she started to wear a dark purple tinted pair of glasses only taking them off to sleep or shower herself. Finally disgusted with the sight of her drunk self Vinyl contemplated death everyday before attempting to finally end all her pain by hanging herself in her room when her mother was gone. Just before Vinyl jumped off of a chair with a rope tied around her neck Vinyl's mother walked into her daughters room to ask a quick question when she found her daughters attempt. Catching her daughter before she could commit suicide and undoing the rope from her neck.
"Why Vinyl, why? Not you too I cant loose you, you cant leave me!" holding her daughter and crying. "How would your father react to this."
"I can't do it I want to be with him again." said Vinyl uncontrollably sobbing.
The next day Vinyl's mother took her to see a phychologist to talk about her problems. For the next 5 years Vinyl would see this phychologist to help with any problems, although she no longer had suicidal thoughts she was still a bit of a drinker and she still used her dark purple shades. Now a full grown mare at the age of 22 Vinyl decided to move out of her mothers house and start living her own life "but where" she thought to herself "where will I go what will I do or a job?". While packing up her things a small card fell from a shoe box it was a business card for a music producer in Filly Delphia. She had forgotten all about that card and remembered what she wanted to do with her life so she decided to move to filly delphia to start a career as the Dj she knew she was. After a boring and bumpy 8 hour train ride down to Filly Delphia she was finally there ready to start her new life. Vinyl found the record studio that the card came from it was called Filly Delphia RecordZ the building was easily twenty-five stories tall and was made of all glass Vinyl looked at the building in awh. She walked into the building and the lobby was giant it had its own fountain and in the center was a big round desk with a couple of secretaries.
Vinyl walked up to the desk and one of the secretaries said to her with a big greeting smile. "Well hello dear welcome to Filly Delphia RecordZ how may I help you?"
"Hi yes I was wondering if I could schedule some time to get into a recording studio if that is at all posible?"
"Well you would first have to fill out some paperwork to be able to use one of our recording studios."
"Why do I need to fill out paper work?"
"It's just to say that if anything gets damaged or goes missing you are responsible and must pay for the cost to replace it."
"Ok, then would I be able to use one?"
"Yes, if a studio is open we will call you over and walk you to it and you can record for up to an hour at a time."
"Ok thank you." An hour and a half after filling out paper work Vinyl gave her information to the secretary.
"Well everything looks to be in order lets see when a room will be open. Oh your just in luck one is open now, please follow me." The secretary walked Vinyl to an elevator and went up to the tenth floor. "Now its down to the second to last door on your left you have an hour to be in there any longer and it will cost 35 bits."
Vinyl walked into the room closing the door behind her and sat in a chair and went to work on a demo. She started off with a simple bass and snare combination. Getting a feel or the beat she started adding more things like high-hats and she found that a heavy guitar was needed to make her song stand out after only 45 mins of working on it she had a totally finished song. Vinyl went back down to the secretary that she talked to and asked "Could I submit this for a song?"
"Oh why of course, if you would just let me see it." as Vinyl floated over the disc the secretary grabbed it. "I will see to it that this gets heard, have a nice day now." she said with a more than happy smile on her face.
The rest of the day Vinyl decided to go looking for a place to stay. She found a small appartment building that was just enough for her to get, finally all moved in and soon might even have a new job. The next morning vinyls cell rang "Hello this is Vinyl." she said not sure who was calling her.
"Hello Miss Vinyl my name is Dj Mic and you little missy have a bit of a talent. How would you like to come down to the Filly Delphia RecordZ later to discuss a record deal im willing to make you."
"Oh Celestia Yes, I will be there as soon as possible!"
Vinyl's life was about to change more then she knew it.

Chapter Four
"Well hello Ms. Vinyl please come in." Dj Mic said to Vinyl as she stood in the doorway to a big round office. Vinyl stepped in and the Dj said "I loved that demo you made. How would you like to start a record lable with us?"
"Oh yes! When can we start?" Vinyl questioned with no hessataion.
"Ok then. Heres what we are going to do, we will play your song on the radio and see how much everypony else likes this song." Dj Mic said.
"Ok no problem you can count on me Sr." Vinyl said with such enthusiasm.
"I'm glad to hear that. Alrighty then now lets talk about making more music, I will give you your own studio to practice and make your songs. How long do you think it will take for you to make me a new song so we can let all of eqestria hear this amazing music?"
"Umm I'm not sure that song only took me a little while to make." Viny said as she pointed to a small stereo that was playing her song.
Scratch his chin Dj Mic said "Ok well how about this i'll give you about a week to make me a new song that way you can get it perfect."
"Sounds like a plan when can I start?" Vinyl questioned.
"Well if you want we can start now. Follow me to see your studio." the Dj said as he started to walk out of his office toward the elevator doors.
Upon pushing the top button Vinyl questioned "Arn't the recording studios down stairs?"
"Oh those are for ponies who are renting them no you miss Vinyl yo now have your private studio all to yourself." the Dj said as the elevator doors opened to the biggest studio Vinyl had ever seen with an amazing view of the whole city of Filly Delphia. Vinyl just stood there in awe at the fact the this was her very own studio. "And did I forget to mention that this room is sound prof and has a bedroom, bathroom, and a small kitchen to the back so this is not only your recording studio but now your new house."
"No way this is all mine..I mean why all this for some pony that made one good song whos to say that I wasn't just lucky at making that song and the rest will be absolutly terrible?" Vinyl said.
"I see greatness in you kid, plus this is who you were ment to be your cutie mark says it all your ment to make music and thats what you need to do." The Dj said.
"But what about my stuff in my house I cant just leave it all behind" Vinyl replied.
"Don't worry about that I had that all taken care of while we talked in my office i had some moving ponies move your things up here if you have any questioned just come down to my office and ask." Dj Mic said to Vinyl.
"Well I'd better get started on making that song for you." Vinyl said still trying to understand what just happened with her new life she was starting. Once Dj Mic left Vinyl's company she took a deep breath and started to work. Once Vinyl's hooves touched the turn tables and sound board her heart started to race faster and faster she had a tingling rush run down her back as if her body was connected to them as she started making a song. She started off with a tempo of 140 bpm (beats per min.) and a heavy bass along with some lyrics that she had decided to muffle to give it a robotic sound to it. After getting about halfway done with her song Vinyl decide to go for a walk around Filly Delphia to strech her legs and get some fresh air. After walking around for about a half hour she found a music store the sold all kinds of records in just about every genere ranging from Classical to modern day rap and hip-hop. Vinyl walked around the store for a little while when she suddenly ran into a gray mare with a charcoal colored main carrying a big stack of records knocking them all over the floor. "I'm so sorry I dont know what I was thinking." Vinyl said with an embarrassed tone as she helped pick up the records with her magic.
"Oh it's quit alright I truly shouldnt be walking around with this many records." the gray earth pony said in a very elegant tone.
When Vinyl looked into the ponies eyes an over whelming sensation came over her her heart felt as if it had melted she quickly had to say something so she wouldn't seem weird. "Oh I see you like classical music do you play an instrument?"
"Why yes I do, I play the cello for an orchestra here in Filly Delphia and you, do you play anything?" the gray mare asked.
"Sorta I make dubstep or house music." Vinyl replied as she scratched the back of her head.
"I can't say I know what that is." the gray mare said with a confused look on her face.
"Oh is all made from computers and sound boards with alot of bass and fast tempoed beats." Vinyl said.
"Sounds interesting. Well I really must be going I have cello practice that I cant be late for i'll see you around if your up around here again." the gray pony said.
"Ya i'll see ya around." Vinyl said trying to act cool. Vinyl turned around to keep looking at music when she relized she never got the ponies name when se turned around to ask the gray mare was already gone. Later that night when Vinyl was finishing up her song she kept think of that gray earthpony "What was so special about you that I can't get you out of my head!?! Your a mare and i'm a mare that would never work mares dont go for other mares its just not right and besides im sure somepony like her has their own special somepony." Vinyl said aloud as she face hooved herself.
Later the next day Vinyls new manager Dj Mic ran up to her and asked "Is your second song done yet?"
"No not yet i'm just finishing up the last part of it why?" Vinyl questioned.
"Because you are going to be the opener of the concer for BassDrop and Flashing lights at the Tail-Spin Center two very big artist and if your good enough they want to take you on tour with them."
"Oh Celestia this is great news thank you i'm going to go finish up right now!" Vinyl ran to her studio and started to finish the song minutes later Vinyl walked into her boss' office to give him the finished song.
"Great work Vinyl I know you'll do great next friday night." Dj Mic said to Vinyl as he started listening to her new song.

Chapter Five
After getting the news of being the opener to the show friday night Dj Mic handed Vinyl over some flyers to put up all over town and hand out to ponies so the word about the show would get around. So Vinyl did as instructed and started to go around Filly Delphia handing out flyers and putting them up everywhere. She then remembered the music store and thought that would be a perfect place to set up some of the flyers. Once Vinyl walked in the music shop there stood the gray mare Vinyl stayed up for hours thinking about. "Hey didn't think i'd seeyou here again." Vinyl said as she walked up to the mare.
"Same to you as well. By the way I never cought your name last time we met." the gray pony said.
"Oh yea the names Vinyl." Vinyl replied
"Well it's nice to meet you Vinyl, I am Octavia, and what is it you have there?" Octavia asked.
"Oh they're some flyers for a gig that i'm opening for you should come its going to be pretty awesome." Vinyl said as she floated a flyer from the stack to Octavia.
"Hmm maybe, I will have to see what i'm doing that evening but if i'm free I might stop by." Octavia replied.
"That would be cool if you could I mean you don't have to but if you want like I said that'd be cool." Vinyl said as she started to blush.
"Hmhm, do your checks always turn that color when you talk to people." Octavia said as she chuckled at the sight of Vinyls checks.
"Yea sorry I kinda felt embarrassed fr asking." Vinyl said as she tryed to hide her red checks by looking down
"Well I have to get going i'll see if I can make it to your "gig" have a good day Vinyl." Octavia said as she walked away.
"Yea see ya later." Vinyl replied face hooving herself when Octavia left her sight. "Why would you blush Vinyl?! Seriously she was right there now she probably wont come." Vinyl said to herself. After Vinyl finished giving away the rest of the flyers she went back to her studio to make some more music upon making a new song she thought of how Octavia said she played the cello so Vinyl looked up different chords that the cello played incorperating them into a song she enjoyed the sound of the higher pitched notes so she sped up the notes and add a bit of her own twist adding bass and some rap lyrics. "Aghh! Why are you in my head octavia why!?" Vinyl questioned.
The next morning Vinyl's manager knocked on her door "Yo Vinyl you up yet?" He shouted.
"Yea yea i'm up hold on." Vinyl caled out as the knocking continued. "Yo whats up?" Vinyl asked as she opened the door to her manager.
"You gotta get ready for the gig tonight." Her manager replied.
"Shit it's already Friday?" Vinyl asked.
"Yup you got a big day ahead of you." Dj Mic said.
"Why what are we doing?" Vinyl questioned.
"You have to meet the artist that your opening for at the Hay Stack Cafe for lunch and we have to get all set up for the show." Dj Mic replied. "So if were you I would probably takea shower and brush you teeth because that morning breath is pretty bad."
"Yea that sounds like a good idea." Vinyl said as she headed toward her bathroom. Once she was done with her teeth and her shower the two of them set out for there busy day.
"Hey you must be Vinyl nice to meet you." Flashing Lights said as the two Djs entered the resturaunt they were meeting the music artist in. "Bassdrop should be here any minute he said there was a bit of traffic so he's going to be a little late. Shall we order some lunch?"
"That sounds great." Dj Mic said as the three of them sat down and picked up the're menus.
"So I hear you're pretty good with a turn table. Mic here sent me one of your songs and I have to say I was very impressed when I listened have you ever thought about going on tour before" Flashing Lights asked as Vinyl choked on the water she was drinking at the thought of going on tour with professional.
"Uh no I cant say that I have." Vinyl replied
"Oh it's great gettin to go all over seeing the world and going to the most amazing parties you've ever seen it's pretty sick if I say so myself." Flashing Lights replied.
"Sorry i'm late everypony, nopony in this town knows how to drive. No offence." Bassdrop said as he rushed into the resturaunt.
"None taken." Dj Mic said
"I was just asking Vinyl here if she wanted to come on tour with us." Flashing Lights announced
"Oh yea you would love it just think about it a new city every night and you could probably have and guy you want." Bassdrop said ashe winked at his last comment.
"Haha sounds fun." Vinyl said but the only pony in this world that she wanted was that octavia at least thats what her head keeps telling her. An hour later the two parties finished their meals and headed out to go get set up for the show that evening. "Hey Mic I got a favor I need taken care of doyou think you could help me out?" Viny asked.
"Sure what is?" Dj Mic replied
"I need to see if a friend of mine is going to come to the show do you think you could send somepony to ask her?" Vinyl asked hoping he would say yes.
"Anything for you." He said as he called over some messanger pegasus standing around with a sandy colored mane and a gray coat with her eyes in different directions. "I need you to go ask miss Vinyl's friend if shes coming to the show. Vinyl what is your friend's name?"
"It's Octavia." Vinyl replied.
"Oh wow! Octavia how did somepony like you become friends with somepony whos all up tight like that?" Mic shockingly asked.
"I dont know we just talked about music and became friends." Vinyl replied
"Huh well good for you. You herd her go ask miss Octavia if shes coming." He said to the gray pegasus. A little while later the gray pegasus arived at a mansion with a big gate that had a treble clef in the center of it.
"Whos there?" a voice over an intercom asked.
"Hello my name is Ditzy Doo I have a message for a miss Ocativa." Ditzy said to the voice.
"Yes what is it?" the voice asked.
"Your friend Viny was wondering if you would be chance have the time to com to her show tonight at the Tail-Spin Center?" Ditzy replied.
"Tell her I will be there to see her show." the voice announced.
Chapter Six
As Vinyl looks out from behind stage she sees hundreds of screaming fan beggin to fill the Tail-Spin Center. "I cant do this there are so many ponies out there!" She shouted to Mic who was standing nex to her.
"Oh dont worry theres not that many ponies here." Mic tried to reasure her just before a voice came over an intercom back stage.
"Congrats everypony we have a sold out concert." the voice said.
"Ok then I stand corrected but still no need to worry you'll do just fine." Mic said to the nervous Vinyl.
"I dont know about this I feel sick im not sure I can go on." Vinyl said as she felt like she was about to vomit.
"Your just a little nervous thats all. Hey Flashig Lights come over here for a sec would ya."
"Yo what is it." Flashing Lights asked as he slightly laughed for no reason.
"Please tell Vinyl that everything will be alright I have to take care of something I will be right back." Mic said as he trotted off.
"Dude Vinyl yur all tensed up about this who thing here take this its what i use to help me loosen up before a show and it should wear off just before your done with the opener." the Dj said as he passed Vinyl a small pill. "Take this and you'll be all better trust me I know."
"What is it?" Vinyl asked.
"Only the best thing ever. Hey did you just see that chicken wearing a top hat?" Flashing Lights asked as he was hallucinating from his drugs.
"What are you taking about? A chicken what now im so confussed." Vinyl said.
"Never mind me just take that and youll be fine." he said as he slipped away.
"Ok then if you say so." Vinyl said as she slipped the pill into her mouth. Moments later Vinyls whole world completely exploded with vibrant colors and moving objects that weren't really there. "Whoa!" Vinyl said as she just looked around giggling at everything she saw.
"Vinyl your on in 10 min." an older mare said to her.
"Ok whatever you say captain." Vinyl said as she stammered over to the edge of the stage awaiting the que to go on.
"Your on Vinyl Go show them what you got." Dj Mic said Vinyl then walked out onto the stage where hundreds of ponies were including one small gray earth pony that was in for bit of a suprise at what she was about to hear.
"Are you ready!?" Vinyl yelled through a microphone. The whole crowd started to scream. "Lets do it." Vinyl said as the lights slowly turned down and a laser light show started up as Vinyl started her new song when the bass dropped everyone started jumping around screaming as if they ha all lost their minds the music got louder and louder as the song went on and the bass just got heavier. The gray mare in the crowd was not expectin aything like this she was not used to the bass shaking her whole body like it did. After Vinyls first song ended she quickly switched over to her next peice so she wouldn't loose the a she yelled "I got one more for you crazy ponies." She shouted to the crowd as the responded to her with more screams. Again the bass was loud and everypony danced to the music and pushed eachother aroundlike a mosh pit once Vinyl's drugs wore off she was just finishing the end of he song.
As soon as the musicstoped everypony just satthere chanting. "VINYL VINYL VINYL!!!" over and over.
"Thank you everypony it's been great." Vinyl said as she walked off stage and Flashing Lights and Bassdrop walked on.
Vinyls manager Mic was right there when she got behind stage. "See I told you you would be fine nothing to it." he said. "And you friend Octavia is here to see you. She is in your dressing room."
"Thanks." Vinyl said. "Hey you." Vinyl said as she walked into the dressing room.
"Oh hey there." Octavia replied
"So...what did you think?" Vinyl asked.
"Well it was different from what im used to thats for sure." Ocatvia answered. "But not bad I felt different when I herd it."
"Yea thats the pure awesomness of my music haha." Vinyl playfully said.
"You know I have a concert tomorrow that you should come to, if you want I will save a seat for you." Octavia said.
"Yea that sounds pretty cool. By the way whats your number so I can text you?" Viyl asked
"Oh here let me see your phone." Octavia said as Vinyl floated over her cell. "There you go its under Octavia."
"Thanks. I'll text you now so you have my number." Vinyl said. "So you wanna get out of here and go get something to eat?"
"That sounds wonderful where at? I havn't eaten yet." Octavia said.
"I dont really care you can decide if you want." Vinyl replied.
"Lets go back to my place I'm pretty good at cooking if I do say so myself." Octavia glottingly said with a chuckle at the end.
"Little full of yourself arn't you haha." Vinyl laughed.
"Oh hush now hmhm." Octavia chuckled again. "Shall we?" she asked as she pointed a hoof at the door.
"Lets." Vinyl said. "When they arrived to Octavia's house Vinyl commented on the large gate. "Wow need a bigger gate?"
"My parents thought it was neccecary for some odd reason but oh well." Ocatvia replied. When the two of them got inside Octavia asked "Do you want anything to drink?"
"Got any beer?" Vinyl asked.
"Hmmm im not sure I never drink that stuff if anything I will have wine. Would you like some of that?" Octavia asked.
"Sure why not." Vinyl replied.
"Ok then I will be right back." Octavia said as she walked into the next room. Vinyls eyes wondered down towards the cellist flank when she walked away when Octavia turned back to ask something when she noticed what Vinyl was doing she quickly asked "Vinyl were you just looking at my flank?"
Blood quickly rushed to her face as she said "What no of course not haha thats silly I was just looking at the wall thats all."
"Mhmm and what is so interesting about that wall that you just had to stair at it?" she asked trying to playfully make fun of Vinyl.
"Oh you know the color and what not it looks pretty." Vinyl said.
"Well I think the color of your checks are pretty as well." Octavia said as she winked at Vinyl just before she left the room. Octavia came back into the room with two glasses and a bottle of wine. "So how long have you been a music artist." Octavia asked.
"Oh as long as I can remember, what about you?" Vinyl asked back
"Well about a year after my father past away my mother had signed my up for piano lessons and then I came to liking the sound of differet instruments so I took up playing the cello." She replied.
"I lost my dad too. There was an accident and well...Yea." Vinyl said as she made a circle on the ground with her hoof.
"Oh im so sorry to hear about that." Octavia said. "Well lets talk about something else so we arn't sad the rest of the night. After a few stories about eachother and about three bottles of wine later the two mares were pretty drunk.
"You know I dont know why my manager said you were all up tight you seem pretty chill to me." Vinyl said as she slurred her words.
"Ah yes you too seem "chill". " Octavia said. moments later the two mare's hooves touched and thy just sat ther and staired into eachothers eye. "Vinyl why must you wear those glasses all the time?"
"I'm not really sure I dont remember." Vinyl said still looking into the cellist eyes as Octavia slowlymoved her hoof up to pull the purple shade off the Dj's face.
"They are so beautiful." Octavia said. "I've never seen anything like them." the two of them slowly leaned closer. Vinyl then swiftly gave the cellist a peck on her soft lips.

"Oh um...well that was uh-different." Octavia said to the white mare sitting in front of her.
"OH CELESTIA I'M SO SORRY! I don't know what made me do that." Vinyl said as she quickly stood up and ran to the front door.
"Where are you going?" Octavia said stopping Vinyl in her tracks. "I never said I didn't like it, just that it was different beside we have both had a bit to much to drink i'm sure thats all it was."

"It's fine Vinyl no need to worry I am not mad at you I promise." Octavia reasurred the frantic Dj.
"Are you sure your okay with this?" Vinyl asked.
"Haha yes I am quit okay with what just happened." Octavia again reasurred her.
"Hey wait a second you said you never said you didn't like it so does that mean you did or what because i'm kinda confussed now?" Vinyl asked.
"Well I guess you'll just have to find out now wont you." Octavia said as she winked at Vinyl and turned away just as Octavia's tail swiped across Vinyls face.

"Oh will I now." Vinyl said with a smirk on her face. Vinyl then followed the cellist into the next room only to be pounced on by Octavia. "EEEP! " Vinyl yelled as she was jumped on by the grey mare. Followed by a mouth full of toung from the cellist. Vinyl then returned the cellist with some toung on toung action. "Really whats he want?" Vinyl asked.
"Not sure he didn't say." Octavia replied. Vinyl then walked over and opened the door.
"Oh hey Mic whats up?" Vinyl asked.
"Well BassDrop and FlashingLight wanted to say thanks for eveything last night, and I was wondering when you were going to make some more music since your going to be going on tour with them."
"Oh yea thats right I totally forgot about that, umm, i'll be out in just a minute." Vinyl said as she turned around and grabbed her glasses and grabbed her cellist by the waist gave her a quick kiss. "I'll be back tonight to finish what we started." Vinyl said as she winked at her and walked out the door.
