Chapters You walk through the night, hands in your pockets as the trees sway in the wind. Only one thing lights up the dark night. The moon. You sit yourself down on a park bench, staring up at the moon. It glows with an almost unnatural colour, a white aura that envelopes everything and gives light to the otherwise black night. You shiver as the wind blows once again, and you hug your chest for warmth.
You squint as a strange light appears on the other side of the park, like a beam from a torch. You stand up, still covering your eyes as you walk towards it. You call out to anyone who may be there. Nothing but silence. You continue moving towards, walking behind to see where the light comes from. But there is nothing. The light simply floats in the air.
You move your hand towards it, but hesitate. Hang on. What the hell is this thing. You think to yourself. You look underneath it but again, there is nothing. You get fed up with standing around doing nothing, so you reach into it. You instantly regret your decision as you are sucked into the hole, your vision become blurred, and before long you black out.
‘Hang on. He’s waking up.’ The voice is rough, unfamiliar. ‘Wakey wakey, the Princess wants to see you’
‘Huh. Where am I?’ You are still gaining consciousness, and your voice comes out muffled ‘What princess?’
‘Just get up’ The voice, you presume him to be a guard, pulls you up roughly. You shake your head, your vision finally returning.
‘Ah!’ You jump back startled by what you see. The figure before you is indeed a guard, but not a human. He is covered in soft, white fur, with a horn protruding from his head. Which, is not a human head. It points outwards, ending in a muzzle, like a horse. More specifically, a unicorn. ‘What the hell are you’
‘All questions must be asked to the princess’ He pushes you along into a large room, illuminated by multiple chandeliers, with a large throne at the far end of the room. A figure is sitting on the throne, a female, with white fur. She has a horn sprouting from her head, and wings folded neatly on her back. You stand there, taking in what is happening around you.
You try to speak, but all that comes out is an unintelligible ‘hubbah?’
‘Hello there. My name is Celestia. Princess, Celestia.’ She looks at you, studying your body. You notice that her gaze stops when she reaches your crotch, causing you to blush. You decide it best to show some courtesy, so you bow to her. You look up at her, and she smiles. ‘You may be wondering why you are here’
‘Considering you stole me away from my current life, yes I would like to know, exactly why the FUCK I am here!’ You start panting, suddenly realizing what has happened. You grit your teeth ‘Send me home. Now’
‘My my, you’re quite a feisty one aren’t you? I’m sure dearest Luna will love you’ Celestia grins. She stands up, revealing her full form. She is about 3 feet taller than you, with hands and feet like a human. However, she is covered in fur, and like the guard, she has a horse like muzzle. She walks behind you, placing her hands on your shoulders. You flinch at her touch. She starts to massage your back, and you relax. ‘There there, just calm down. Sit on that chair and we can have a nice talk about your future.’ She waves a hand at her guard, dismissing him from the room. He bows, before shuffling out and closing the door.
‘So. What is my future then?’ You glare at Celestia, trying to stop yourself from punching her in her stupid royal face.
‘Simple. I brought you here as a... present, for my sister. You see, she gets so lonely at times and she really needs someone to help her.’
‘And why don’t you keep her company? She’s your sister after all. Why drag me into this. Why not just fucking leave me be, let me live my life and STOP FUCKING AROUND’
Celestia flinches slightly, but remains calm. ‘I cannot visit her because she will not let me. I sent her to live where she currently does, and she has never forgiven me since. Besides. I will not be able to, please her, in the way that you can’ Again Celestia’s gaze drops to your groin.
You blush deeply and cover yourself with your hands. ‘Well you can think again. From what I understand I’m just gonna be a little plaything for your sister. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, you have stolen my life from me, and I want to be sent home.
‘IF YOU DON’T START ACTING LIKE A MAN AND LEARN TO ACCEPT YOUR FATE, THEN YES, YOUR LIFE WILL BE RUINED’ Celestia’s outburst causes you to jump in your seat. She shuffles in her chair, regaining her composure. ‘Well. Now that I’ve gotten to you, and can finally explain exactly what’s happening.’
‘I know what’s happening. You’re sending me of to be with your sister and we live happily ever after’
Celestia smiles at you. ‘Good. See, quite simple when you accept it.’
‘Well. It’s not that simple. I’ve never met her before, and you, well, you’re like a horse or something. What are you, again?’
‘Ponies. Well. Our ancestors were ponies, but we evolved, our spines became straighter, and we started standing. We developed hands and feet, but retained our fur.’
‘Uh-huh.’ You are still baffled ‘And where are we on earth right now?’
Celestia looks at you with a puzzled expression ‘Earth? We’re on Equis’
‘Equis?’ The name sound’s strange. ‘Never heard of that country before.’
‘Not country, planet. We are in Equestria, but we live on Equis. Equis is our planet’
You groan. It’s all too much for you to take in. ‘Look, just, send me to your sister. I’ve had enough stress for the day. Where does she live anyway?’
Celestia frowns. ‘There’s just one problem with that. She lives on the moon’
Author's Note
My first story so please, constructive criticism rather than hate. Tell me if you like it and I might continue.
‘WHAT?’ Your voice echoes through the halls. Celestia flinches, then continues.
‘I was afraid you would react like that. Just let me explain. I will cast the same spell I did to summon you, but instead, you will be sent to the moon’ Her voice is calm and cool, as if she’s just sending you next door.
‘But, I, What? I’ll die! There’s no oxygen on the moon’ You open your mouth again to protest, but celestia cuts you off.
‘Just hear me out, okay?’ She puts a hand up to silence you. ‘I know the exact location of my sister, and that is where I will send you. When you are there, she will cast a spell which will allow you to breath in the atmosphere.’
‘And if your sister isn’t there? If she doesn’t cast the spell? Then what’
Celestia maintains her calm tone ‘It will not come to that. My sister would not allow an innocent man to die’
‘Yeah, but why not just cast the spell here? I mean, that’s a much safer option, right?’ Your breathing becomes short and sharp, your heart pumping faster than usual.
‘You do not understand, the spell adjusts your lungs to breath the atmosphere you are currently in, so casting it now would be useless.’
You rub your temples, trying to ease the thumping in your head. ‘And then what? She just let’s me in? Food? Shelter? How do we get any of that?’
‘Well, my sister can use magic as well so’
‘Wait, what do you mean “as well”?’ You cut her off before she can finish her sentence. Instead of speaking, Celestia huffs. Her horn starts to glow a bright yellow, and you are enveloped in the same colour. You start to float upwards, and you guess it is a result of Celestia’s magic ‘Hey, HEY! What the hell! Put me down!’
‘You see? Levitation is one of many powers us unicorns, and alicorns, have.’ Celestia states matter of factly. You start to float gently back down into your seat. ‘Anyway, as I was saying. Luna can summon food, and blankets. Or, to make it easier, you can share a blanket’ Celestia grins when your cheeks start to turn crimson
‘I, I, I still dont under.. understand what my purpose is for her.’ You stutter, trying to regain your former cheek colour.
‘Oh my stars, you’re not the smartest of your race are you’ Celestia groans. You protest, but again Celestia silences you ‘Well. You may not be the smartest, but you certainly are quite a handsome fellow. You will serve as company to keep her happy, and perhaps be a mate’ This time the comment does not make you blush. You’re good with women. Once you get used to the fact that they’re a completely different race.
‘Okay okay okay. I get it. Keep her happy, etc. And I live on the moon for the rest of my life. Doesn’t really seem fair to me does it?’
Celestia’s eyebrows rise ‘No no no, I’m not sending you for the rest of your life! I will keep in touch with you through letters, and once my sister is happy and reverted back to normal, I will bring you both back to live here again’ She smiles at you. And for once, you relax.
Huh, Maybe this wont be so bad after all . You smile back at Celestia, and finally, it is not forced. ‘Alright then. Cast that spell and let’s get going’
‘My. You seem awfully happy all of a sudden.’
‘Yeah well. You were right. I may not have my previous life, but there’s a whole new one ahead of me’
‘That’s the spirit! Oh and one last thing. My sister has dark blue fur, and is also an Alicorn. Not quite as pretty as me’ Upon saying this, Celestia puffs her chest outwards, showing off her curves. ‘but still a beautiful mare nonetheless. Oh what am I thinking! She’s the only other pony on the moon. Stupid Celestia’ You grin as she tells herself off.
‘Well Celestia, it’s been nice meeting you.’ You extend a hand, but Celestia brings you in for a hug.
‘Not exactly a princess-like thing to do, but I feel you deserve it. Do take care of her, I really want dearest Luna back on the throne with me’ Celestia steps backwards, and closes her eyes. You stand there as once again, her horn glows yellow, and the same portal opens in front of you. You step forward, reaching out for it. ‘I’ll send a letter as soon as possible!’ You smile as Celestia calls out to you.
‘Oh, and Celestia? I’m sorry, about earlier’ You smile at her, then step into the portal. However, this time you do not black out. You are tossed about in a wormhole like tunnel, and spat out on the other side.

You look around, taking in your surroundings. My god she wasn’t joking. I’m on the moon. Your amazement is soon replaced with panic as your lungs start to tense and you suck in nothing. Shit, shit shit shit shit . You hear footsteps and a figure appears from the darkness.
‘He.... Help, please.’ You barely manage to form a sentence. A spark runs through your body, and your lungs start to fill up again. You kneel on the floor, panting and trying to recover your breath. ‘Thank you’ You try to look up and face your saviour, but you find you cannot. You cannot move anything.
‘So. Why, exactly, are you here on my moon?’ The voice is feminine, calm, like an angel. A moon angel . ‘Have you been sent to kill me. To put me out of my misery in this lonely life I live?’
You strain your neck trying to look up, but you are still immobilized ‘Celestia sent me!’
‘Really? So you are here to kill me’ You feel your muscles start to burn and you start to cramp
‘Nonononononono. Uh, your sister is Celestia yes? She sent me to keep you company. Uh, uh, something about making you happy, and she wants to bring us back when you are, um, uh, normal, ore something. Please just let me go!’ You plead with your attacker.
The same sensation jolts through you body and you can move again. You stretch your muscles, and turn to look at whoever did that.
‘Hello. I am Princess Luna’
Author's Note
Dear Spike,
ON THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA indeed.
So yeah there you go chapter 2 is out! Dunno how long before I can write chapter 3. A quick thank you for all the support and a brohoof for you all /)
You bow down on one knee, showing respect for the figure who stands before you. Luna huffs, and turns away from you. You stand up slowly, rather unsure as to what has just happened. You follow Luna, walking behind, your head held high and your back ever so straight. Should she turn around to look at you, you want to look your best.
I wonder where she’s going? Your question is answered as you see a castle in the distance ‘Uh, Luna.’
She turns around ‘What do you require?’ She says calmly, but there is still a hint of frustration in her voice.
‘You live there?’
‘Why of course!’ She is shocked by your reaction. ‘I am a princess, and I deserve my castle. ‘Tis rather large for only one pony but ‘tis a grand castle.’
You nod your head. Okay then. Castle on the moon. That’s a cool place for a honeymoon. Hey that rhymes! You try to make the best of your situation, but it is hard. And as your gaze lowers to Luna’s flank, being optimistic is not the only hard thing.
‘You will sleep downstairs tonight. I will make you your bed tonight, but from then on you will take care of yourself, of course, I will have to provide you with food.’ Luna whips her head round, and you straighten again. ‘Understood.’
‘Understood.’
‘Good. Now, you may enter’ She waves a hand at the gate, but you refuse.
‘Ladies first’ You smile at her, trying to break the ice.
‘In this world I believe the expression is “Mares first”, but thank you.’ Luna walks into her castle, and you follow closely behind.
You are once again amazed by the size of Luna’s castle. It is roughly the same size as Celestia’s, but a little bit shorter. You look over at Luna, and for once you get a good look at her.
She is smaller than you, about a foot smaller. Her hair is long, and shines like the night sky. Her fur is a dark blue, and her eyes sparkle. You suddenly remember Celestia’s comment “Not quite as pretty as me but still a beautiful mare nonetheless” You grin. I’m afraid I might have to question your royal judgement, Celestia.
‘This is where you will be sleeping. You will remain in your quarters unless you have my permission to leave.’ Luna’s voice snaps you out of your thought.
‘You know, Celestia never told me you lived in a castle. I was expecting some sort of tent.’ Your face spreads into a smile.
‘Huh. Tia knows nothing about me. If I were to kill you now she would have no clue’ Luna growls at you. But you simply smile.
‘Go ahead then. I know you wouldn’t do it.’ You stand your ground, a large smile on your face. If this is how she acts all the time, I’d rather die than put up with this.
‘If I were you, I would not challenge the Princess of the moon.’
‘Well if you were me, you would know I like taking risks. Go ahead’ You maintain your smile, but there is no cockiness in your expression.
Your heart jumps when Luna’s magic starts to take its course. Your heart pumps faster and faster, and your breath becomes short and ragged. You look at your fingers, white from the blood loss. You look back up at Luna, trying not to show your fear.
Luna’s eyes are shut, but you can see her fighting back tears. You stay where you are, standing your ground as Luna’s magic becomes more and more painful. Luna’s eyes burst open and your blood starts to circulate once more.
Luna is on the verge of entirely breaking down. Tears stream down her cheek, and you walk towards her. You place your thumb on her cheek, and brush away a tear. You place your arm around her hip, and ever so quietly, you speak. ‘Come on. I’ll walk you to your room’
Luna buries her face in your shoulder, and starts to sob. You reach the top of the staircase, and start down the hallway. You open a door, and peek inside. There is a large kingsize bed in the center, and a window in the ceiling lets the light through. You place her down on her bed, and she rolls herself into her blanket.
‘Please, don’t leave me. I’m, i’m sorry. I don’t want to be alone anymore.’ Luna’s eyes plead with you. ‘I just, I just can’t remember what it feels like. To be held. To feel the warmth of another soul.’
‘Luna, what was all that about?’ You are utterly confused by her sudden change in mood.
‘It’s all fake. Every threat, my rude comments. It’s all fake.’ She shakes her head violently
‘I just do it to show Tia. Show Tia that i’m strong, that I can take this punishment. Please. You won’t leave, will you?’
You sigh. ‘Okay. Just, promise me one thing.’
‘OOH thank you thank you thank you!’ Luna squeezes you, almost choking you in her embrace.
‘One thing. You never act like that again. If I’m gonna spend all my days with you, I want to spend it with you. Not some fake act to impress your sister, or me even. I want Luna’ You lock eyes with Luna, and you smile at her.
She giggles, a small, adorable laugh, like a girl who’s just been called pretty by Channing Tatum. Uh, how much you hate that guy. Luna curls up in her bed, and shifts herself to be next to you. ‘I’m going back to my room. I’ll see you in the morning’ Your voice is soft, still confused by the completely different Luna in front of you.
‘NO! I mean, no. Please, stay here. With me. I want you to. This bed is so big, and so lonely for just one pony.’ Luna seems on the verge of crying again.
You sigh. ‘Fine then.’ You turn yourself so your legs are on the other end of the bed, and lay your head down on your pillow. Luna wriggles under your arm and you grasp her hand. You wrap your arm around Luna, running your hand through her silky mane. She smiles. ‘Thank you’ and then she is asleep. As you drift into sleep, you wonder.
I made the right decision. Didn’t I?
Author's Note
I'm having a bit of dilemma. Clop? Or no Clop? I don't want to ruin the love with hardcore sex but........ Who doesn't like a bit of bucking?
You open your eyes, blinking away your sleepiness. You look to your right, and Luna is still asleep. You brush her mane out of her eyes, and plant a kiss on her forehead. She wriggles a bit, before laying still once more. You get out of bed, and head downstairs. You open the door to the gardens and stroll out of the gate. Maybe a nice walk will help me clear my head.
So you set off on your walk, still puzzled by Luna’s change and her dependence on you. You take another look at the castle, and thankfully Luna’s lights are still off. As you walk further on, you notice something on the ground. It is a scroll, wrapped in red ribbon with a gold seal.
You reach down and open the letter. It is from Celestia
I wanted to send you this letter wishing you luck.
I know you were not up to this before, but I hope you are finding it okay by now. If you intend to reply to this letter, you must write on the back of this scroll. You will then want to burn it, Luna can use her magic for you. It will send it back, as I have encrypted the address of my castle on the seal. I expect you to inform me of your progress with Luna, and when you succeed in her rehabilitation, send me a letter and I will teleport you back together. I am looking forward to seeing you both again,
Celestia.
You slide the letter into your pocket, and make your way back to the castle. You slip through the gate, and open the main door. You hear a sobbing noise coming from upstairs. Uh oh, what’s happened? You open the door to Luna’s room, and peer inside. ‘Luna?’
A figure rushes you from the shadows, slamming you into the wall. You are prepared to strike your attacker down, but you recognize the starry mane. ‘Luna, what’s wrong?’
She sniffs and wipes her nose. ‘I woke up and you weren’t there. I had seen a bright light and thought you had gone back to Equis. Oooh I’m so happy you’re here’ You rub her back, doing your best to calm her.
‘Shh hey hey hey. Calm down. I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere for a while. I just wanted to go for a walk.’ You look down at Luna, who is still shaking.
‘But, but how do I know that?’ Luna starts to break down again. You rock her from side to side, trying to stop her crying.
‘Luna, I dont want to leave you. Seeing you like this, you have no idea how painful it is.’ You fight back tears of your own. ‘I want to see you happy. Celestia told me of a strong, beautiful mare who feared nothing. What I see here, is a beautiful mare. But she is fearful, scared. I want to fix that. I want you, us, to be happy, no matter what it takes.’ Luna sniffs, before wrapping her arms around you.
‘So you dont want to leave me?’ You are puzzled by her question.
‘Of course not, have you been listening? Luna.’ She looks away, but you turn her head back to you. ‘Luna. I love you.’ You leave your words hanging, the silence of the hallway almost amplifying your words. Did I say the right thing? You question yourself, almost wanting to take it back. But then Luna speaks.
‘I love you too.’ She smiles at you, and you kiss her. Not on her cheek, but on the lips. A short yet passionate kiss. You pull back, and stand up.
‘Come on. Let’s go get something to eat.’ You take Luna’s hand and pull her off the floor. You loop your arm through hers and guide her down the stairs. You walk into the dining room, and sit down. Luna brings out a plate of salad, and you start eating. Luna sits down next to you, resting her head on your shoulder.
And for the first time since you arrived, everything seems okay.
‘Um, Princess?’ The guard walked into Celestia’s room.
‘Has there been a reply yet?’ Celestia whipped her head round, anxious to hear about your progress with Luna.
‘He’s requesting permission to return’
‘NOW?’ The guard dropped his gaze, taken aback by Celestia’s tone.
‘Yes, now. He sais Luna is healthy.’
Celestia forced herself to relax. My god, this can’t be. Surely this cannot be true! I have spent years trying to fix my sister, and this man does it in days? ‘Very well. Thank you, you are dismissed.’ The guard shuffled out of the room.
Celestia closed her eyes. She concentrated on casting the spell, creating a two-way portal for you to return. The bright light appeared in the middle of the room once more, and Celestia sat down on her throne, waiting your arrival.
She was not kept too long, and after about 30 seconds, Celestia saw you and Luna appear through the portal.
You stand up, giving your arm to Luna for support. She mutters a quiet thank you, before turning to face Celestia.
‘Oh my dear Luna. How I’ve missed you all these years.’ Celestia is fighting back tears, seeing her sister for the first time in quite a while. Luna runs up to Celestia and they embrace.
‘It’s so nice to see you Tia.’ Luna smiles at her sister, and leans in close. She whispers something into Celestia’s ear, inaudible to you.
Celestia looks over at you. ‘Well, congratulations. You’ve managed to reunite us and bring back the traditional customs. Thank you so much.’
You smile at Celestia. ‘The pleasure is mine. Besides, you’ve given me a new mare-friend. And quite a pretty one to.’ You grin at Luna, who runs back to you. You pull her in, kissing her on her nose. ‘There’s just one thing.’
‘Oh?’ Celestia and Luna say the word together.
‘Where do we live now?’
Luna looks at you puzzled ‘Why not here, in this castle?’
You try to think of an excuse, but you cannot. A blush spreads across your cheeks. ‘Well, I, uh, you know.’ Luna looks at you, a puzzled expression on her face. ‘Well, you know. The birds and the bees, man and woman, mare and stallion, chemistry. Uh.....’ Luna blushes, then walks over to you.
‘I think I’ll take my castle back, but thank you, Tia.’ Luna’s arms snake up around your neck, and she pulls you in for a kiss. ‘Come on. Let’s go.’ Luna walks on, and you follow close behind. You turn and wave Celestia goodbye, then you make your way out with Luna.
‘Where is your castle anyways?’ You inquire
‘Through the everfree forest’
Author's Note
I'm proud of Applejack; I had a Krispy Kreme apple pie, MY GOD THEY'RE GOOD! So yeah chapter 4 is out, thanks again for all the favourites!
‘Everfree forest?’ Your eyebrows rise. ‘You live in a forest?’
Luna laughs, the same adorable laugh you’ve learnt to love. ‘No you stupid. I live past the Everfree’ Her expression turns serious. ‘Although I’d rather not go through it.’
‘Why not?’
‘Horrible things live in there. Dark, twisted creatures, born from King Sombra himself’ Luna shudders.
‘Well dont worry.’ You joke with Luna. ‘I’ll protect you from the big, scary monsters’ You jump at Luna, growling like a monster. You grin, and she punches you on the shoulder. You grasp her hand and walk towards the forest.
You push your way through a bush, Luna close behind. ‘I may be the Princess of the moon, but these things, Changelings, are a whole different story.’ Luna walks behind you, treading lightly as to not attract unwanted attention.
The trees’ branches reach out, like bony fingers, reaching out to pull you into the darkness. A small ‘eep’ comes from Luna, and you turn to make sure she is okay. She apologizes to you. ‘Sorry, I’m fine. Just thought I had seen something’
However, as you continue making your way through the bushes, you start to see things too. ‘Uh, Luna. I think you did see something.’ You pick up a nearby rock, chucking it into the bush. You hear a small thud, and a groan.
Luna cowers behind you, and you desperately look for a stick to defend yourself. Not that it would do much good for you anyway. You hear the buzzing of wings, like an insect. You can feel Luna shaking behind you, and you turn to her. ‘Go find a safe place. I dont care if it’s a bush or behind a rock, just get safe.’
Luna nods, then runs off to a nearby boulder. You turn around just in time to deflect a blow from the unknown creature. You swing your fist, attempting to connect with its head. You see brown, almost diseased skin, with brittle fur. I presume this is a changeling. You duck to the side, avoiding another punch from the creature.
The changeling hisses at you, charging you with his horn. You duck down, but instead of retreating, you ram into him. You pick him up by the waist, then slam him down on the floor. The changeling hisses at you, and turns off, running back into the bushes. You presume he ran back to his hidey-hole.
But a scream from Luna tells you he wasn’t going back home. ‘LUNA!’ You charge through the bushes, heading in the rough direction you saw Luna go. As you burst through the bushes and into the clearing, you see the changeling holding Luna in a headlock. It hisses through gritted teeth.
‘Come any closer and I break her neck.’ As you slowly crouch to pick up a rock, the changeling readjust his arms to snap Luna’s frail figure. ‘I mean it.’ His tongue slithers out of his mouth, ending in a snake-like fork. You straighten yourself and put your hands up.
‘No! Get out of here.’ Luna struggles to get her hands in-between the changelings arms and her neck. You growl back at Luna.
‘Dont be stupid! I’m not leaving you here with this freak.’ You glare at the changeling, balling your hands into fist.
‘Brave wordsss from a bare-sssskin.’ The changeling returns your glare of hatred. ‘You walk away now and I’ll sssspare pretty little Luna here.’
You struggle to think of a plan, some sort of course of action. But you can find nothing. Come on, think. You encourage your brain to come up with something. You never were the clever one. Nor the strongest. But you were a fierce fighter. Are, a fierce fighter. You smile. ‘Tell you what, freak-ling. Hand to hand combat, no weapons, just us. I win, you go free, but I take Luna back. You win, well, I’ll probably be dead by then.’
‘And why, ssshould I agree to thissss. Luna will make for quite a ranssssom. If I fight, then I could lossse her. But if I keep her, nothing goessss wrong.’ The changeling starts back towards the bushes, but you stop him.
‘Think about it. You have your horn’ Upon saying this he runs his hand along his sharp, spiked horn. You continue ‘And I have nothing. The chances of you winning are considerably higher, and, If you win, you get to exterminate one more bare-skin in this world.’ The changeling smiles upon your words.
‘You’re in for a world of pain, bare-sssskin.’ The changeling drops Luna by the side of the bush. ‘I’m gonna enjoy cleaning your gutssss off my horn.’ You catch signs of movement from the corner of your eye. You turn to see what it is, and you panic. You see Luna’s horn light up, casting her magic on the Changeling.
‘Luna, No!’ She is puzzled by your reaction. ‘I set the conditions for this fight, and I want fair-play. No interfering.’ Luna stares at you sadly, and is about to speak, but you silence her. You turn your attention to the changeling. ‘One minute, freak-ling.’ He smiles, revealing his broken teeth. You walk over to Luna, crouching down next to her.
‘No no no please don’t do this. I can stop him. Please I’ve only had you for so long.’ Luna’s sobs make you want to cradle her right here. RIght now, with no regards for the changeling you have a fight planned with.
‘Luna, listen to me. I’ll be fine, okay? If it comes to the worst.’ Luna starts to sob again, shaking her head.
‘Don’t. Please, don’t finish that sentence.’
‘Luna. If I lose, if I die.’ You grab her hand. ‘I want you to run. Run and run and never stop. You get as far away from here as possible.’ Luna sobs, tears streaming down her cheeks. But she nods. And in a funny sort of way, that comforts you. You lean in, and you can feel her hot breath against your skin. You kiss her, and knowing this may be your last time seeing her, you want this moment to never end.
But it does. ‘Come on bare-sssskin. I need to get back to the hive, sssso letsssss make this quick.’ You spit at the changeling, making him grin wildly. A shimmer of light appears around the changeling, and his whole form starts to ripple.
You gasp, a short deep breath. Because before you does not stand a horrible, ugly freak-ling. Instead, you lock eyes with the princess of the moon.
The figure speaks, and it sounds like Luna. But, there are other voices there, ones of pain, anger, grief, sadness. ‘Come on honey. Lets dance’
Author's Note
Nearly done with the next chapter. As you have all been doing, let me know what I need to change in this story. See you all soon!
You stand, speechless as the figure adopts a fighting stance. You hear Luna’s voice from nearby, but it feels like it’s from miles away. ‘Don’t be fooled. That’s what changelings do. It’s not me, whatever he sais or does! Do whatever it takes to beat him!’
You are snapped out of your confusion by a jab to the face. You grunt, stumbling backwards by the force of the blow. The changeling advances, still using his disguise to fool you. You shake your head, clearing out any thoughts that distract you. It isn’t Luna, it is not the pony you love . That’s what your mind says, but your body thinks otherwise.
You try to punch the changeling, but you only succeed in stroking its mane. A grin spreads across its face. ‘My my. Thissss isssss going to be eassssier than I expected.’ It advances towards you once more, throwing punches like Chuck Norris. You dodge jab after jab, doing your best to not harm the creature before you.
‘Uh, Luna? How the hell do I fight this thing?’ One of the changelings punches clips your shoulder, sending you spinning towards the ground.
‘Punch it you idiot! It’s not me. I’m here. The bad guy is in front of you!’ Luna screams at the top of her lungs, trying to stop you from being entirely annihilated by the changeling.
‘Never mind! I got this.’ You finally know how to fight the creature. You absorb blow after blow, taking all of the changelings punches. Your shoulders begin to cramp from blocking, and your guard falls. The changeling grins, but it is Luna’s beautiful teeth that you see.
It takes advantage of your minor distraction, landing a right hook on your hip. You are sent reeling back from the force, but you manage to stay upright. However, the blow left you winded, and you struggle to get your breath back as the changeling advances. You hope he will get cocky, and change back soon.
You continue to stumble around the clearing, taking the minor blows, while avoiding his stronger punches. Eventually, you become careless, and trip on a rock. You hit the ground with a thud, and the changeling looms over you.
‘Listen to my words bare-skin. I will be the last thing you see before I end your puny life’ The changeling’s disguise drops, and he returns to his ugly self. ‘I want you to remember who killed you so easily, so effortlessly. You’re jusssst pathetic.’ The changeling finally finishes morphing back to his original state. Now this ugly bastard, I can kill.
He hauls you onto your feet, throwing you onto a nearby rock. He walks backwards, until he is about 10 meters away, then lowers his head. Come on freak-ling. Do it. You smile when the changeling starts to charge. At the last second, you dive out of the way, sending the changeling careening into the rock. His horn is embedded into the boulder with a loud thud.
The changeling screams out in agony as his horn is split in half. He pulls his head out of the rock, clutching his head. ‘You forgot one thing freak-ling. Never drop your tactics until the enemy is down for the count.’ You spit at his feet, disgusted by the freak that wanders around the clearing.
He moves towards Luna, and you can guess what he is going to do. You run back around the rock, out of his sight. He grabs Luna by the neck, putting her in the same headlock when he first captured him. He looks around in confusion, too tired to notice you sneaking up on him.
You build up speed, ramming into him and knocking him to the floor. You catch Luna, placing her gently on the floor. You then make your way towards the changeling, lying on the floor, breathless and still. You turn him over, slapping him on the face.
You twist his shirt in your hand, gritting your teeth. ‘Put your disguise back up, freak-ling.’ You order the creature to change, but he does not. You tighten your grip on his shirt, and punch him in the face. Blood pours down your hand and his chin as his teeth are knocked out. ‘Change for me, freak-ling.’
This time he obeys. His body ripples and returns to the form of Luna. ‘You beleive in life after death, you bastard?’ He shakes his head, whimpering softly. ‘Well then, let’s find out.’ You place the changeling in a head lock. You then grab at his neck, placing one hand under his chin.
You turn his face towards yours, and smile. ‘Bested by a bare-skin. I’ll do you a favour and end your misery now.’ You tighten your grip once more, before jerking his head to the side, snapping his neck.
His body rolls onto the ground, and his eyes roll back in his head. You sigh, and then the pain hits you. You collapse onto the floor, writhing in agony as you start to feel your wounds take their toll. You feel a hand lightly touch you on the shoulder, and look up at Luna. She grabs you by the hand, pulling you up and supporting you.
‘Come on. Lets get you to my castle. We’ll see what spells I have there for healing.’ You groan as your legs seize up, but Luna supports you so you do not fall. ‘Where did you learn to fight like that?’
You take a deep breath, trying to calm your body and mind. ‘It’s a form of self defense back on Earth. Kick boxing.’ You struggle to speak, so you walk on in silence. You finally reach the end of the forest, and you can see the castle.
‘Come on, I’ll go find some spells.’ Luna walks you in, greeting her guards, before seating you down on a bed. You lay there, placing your head on a pillow. You drift in and out of consciousness, until eventually Luna returns with a black-furred mare.
You open your mouth to speak, but your vision fades. Suddenly, you black out.

Okay so even though I need to finish this story first I'm going to put this out there. I have 2 requests. I need 2 OC's for the next sequel. One must be a pegasus of the night guard, and the other can be anything from Celestia's guards. If you want them to appear in the sequel send a photo to this email: unicornalliance7@gmail.com Thanks to anyone who sends them!
‘Of course. We’ll get to it.‘ You hear a distant voice. You start to gain consciousness, and you blink your eyes. You roll on your bed, turning to see who was talking.
The mare you saw before you blacked out looks at you. ‘I was starting to wonder when you would wake up.’ She smiles at you. Luna looks confused for a second, then realizes that she’s talking about you. She runs up to you and hugs you, causing you to gasp in pain.
Luna backs away, brushing her mane out of her face. ‘Sorry. I’m just happy to see’ You cut her off.
‘How long have I been out?’ You look between the mare and Luna.
Luna looks at the mare, a unicorn, and nods her head towards you. ‘I beleive that Shadow Cloud knows that’
Shadow looks at you, and smiles. ‘Exactly 53 hours has passed since you passed out.’ You whistle. Shit, that’s a long time.
‘And since then? What’s been happening?’
‘Not much. We’re conducting repairs on the castle. It’s been attacked by scouting groups of changelings multiple times while I was gone.’ Luna’s eyes shoot open. ‘Ooh! That reminds me. We’ve got to go buy some slate for the walls.’ She smiles at you ‘Care to join me later?’
You smile at her, and you are about to get up, but Shadow sets you down on the bed once more. ‘Hang on. You’ve still got minor damage in your legs and arms, best give it some time before you get out and about.’
You decide it best to listen to Shadow, after all, she is your doctor. Shadow escorts Luna out of the room, but Luna runs to you before leaving. ‘I forgot one thing.’ Luna kisses you on the lips, her eyes looking at you lustfully.
She breaks the kiss, winking at you as she leaves. Shadow has her back to you, not wanting to invade in your privacy. You smile at Luna before laying your head on your pillow. You finally let your exhaustion get the better of you, and before long you are spark out on your bed.
_____________________________________
You wake up several hours later, and already you feel much better. Shadow is sitting on a chair on the other side of the room. She greets you, and helps you out of bed. ‘You should be fine walking around now. Sped up the process a bit.’ Shadow smiles and taps her horn.
‘Where’s Luna gone?’
‘She’s in her quarters.’ You thank Shadow and start towards Luna’s room. You reach her room, and knock on the door.
A soft voice comes from inside. ‘Who is it.’
‘Who do you think it is?’ You grin when the door opens. ‘Shadow sais I’m okay to walk now.’
Luna smiles at you. ‘Wonderful. Lets go into town to get the slate.’ She loops her arm through yours, and starts to the door. ‘Oh! Give me one second.’ Before you can answer Luna runs off. You smile, sitting down on a nearby bench.
Moments later, Luna returns with a single pegasus. The pegasus extends his hand, and you shake it. Luna smiles. ‘This is Night Stalker. He’s my most well trained assassin. He’ll be keeping an eye out for any changelings while we go to town.’ Night Stalker smiles, and in a flash of speed, is out of the door.
You smile at Luna, placing your arm around her waist. You set off in the direction of town, reaching the start of the everfree. ‘You ready?’ You ask Luna, your mind wandering to the last time you traveled through this forest.
‘Of course. See, this time we have guards. Well, one of them.’ Luna smiles, and you push your way through the bracken. Luna points to a map, tracing her finger upwards. ‘It’s about a 3 day journey, minus about 1 day with my teleportation.’
‘3 DAYS! But we made it in 4 hours.’ You blurt out. You are shocked by the travel time.
Luna shakes her head. ‘You were unconscious before we reached the castle. You obviously don’t remember.’
‘Well, let’s get a move on. Don’t wanna spend too long.’ It is several long hours before anything happens. You hear the same rustling, and instinctively cover Luna. But she protests.
‘No. You’re not making any agreements now, so I’m fine with using magic. After-all, I am the princess of the moon.’ She pushes you out of the way. ‘Besides, I’m sure Night can handle it.’ Luna casually strolls away.
Sure enough, you hear the flapping of wings, and a flash of light. You see Night Stalker’s armor glisten in the sunlight, and a screech from the changeling. You hear bones crunching and tendons snap, and seconds later, Night Stalker emerges from the bushes. He is splattered in blood, his knife coated in it as well.
Despite how gruesome it is, you smile. ‘Nicely handled.’ Night smiles back, before flying up once more. He circles around the sky, before swooping down once more. You hear the screams of a changeling, and run after Luna. ‘HEY! Wait up!’
________________________________________
After hours of trekking you finally stop for the night. Luna, using her magic, summons a king sized bed, hidden by purple drapes. You lay on your bed, and Luna cuddles up next to you. You close your eyes, wanting sleep to take you away. But it does not.
Hours later you find that you still cannot sleep. You move the drapes out of the way, walking out to enjoy the fresh air. You can see Night Stalker still guarding you, and salute to him. He waves back, and you make your way back to the bed.
Luna starts to stir when you sit, and she looks at you. ‘What’s wrong baby?’
You shake your head. ‘Huh? Oh right, sorry. I’m just having trouble sleeping.’ Luna smiles at you.
‘I know what will help.’ Luna grins, and pulls her shirt off. She then unclips her bra, revealing her large breasts. Her grin widens when she sees your jaw drop. ‘Sweet dreams.’ Luna lies down, placing your arm over her chest.
And of course, after that. You have no trouble sleeping.

Sorry it took so long, I was out of ideas. Thank you to Val for giving me Night Stalker, and don't worry. He plays a much bigger part in the sequel, I just thought it would be nice to introduce him now. Still need some OC's so again, unicornalliance7@gmail.com if you want your OC to be in the sequel.
You stand in place, unable to move. What the hell’s gotten into her? You shout in surprise as a scroll appears just beneath your feet, singeing the hairs on your leg. Luna turns round and laughs at you. ‘It’s a letter from Celestia.’
‘Yeah, I know. Got one when we were on the moon, remember?’ You roll your eyes at Luna, who just laughs. You read through the words, and your expression darkens.
I have noticed a slight change in Luna’s behaviour, and I’m sure you have as well. I am sending my fastest guard to pick you up, and we shall discuss this, odd, behaviour of hers.
Celestia.
You turn to Luna, smiling apologetically. ‘I gotta go see Celestia. I’ll catch up with you later.’
Luna frowns. ‘It’s a long journey through the everfree, are you sure you’ll be alright?’
You bite your lip in thought. ‘I am sure Celestia will be so kind as to spare me some food.’ Luna nods, and smiles at you. You kiss her goodbye, and she turns into the everfree, disappearing behind the bracken.
You lie down on a bench, waiting for Celestia’s “fastest guard”. You look up at the sky, an unusual pattern of colours streaking past. Hang on, that’s the Aurora Borealis!
You stare at the beautiful phenomenon ahead of you. The colours dance and swirl in the sky, changing from red to blue, blue to green, and so on. One particular spot in the sky catches your attention. It is a small dot of colours, green, red and blue, all swirling around one spot.
You notice something strange however. The pattern ends abruptly, leaving the colours to swirl in their places. You see a small dot, traveling quickly towards your location. It is blue, with green and yellow streaking from its sides. You squint, the sun stopping you from getting a clear view.
The colours get closer, and then you see. It’s a pegasus. The pegasus has its wings folded, rocketing out of the sky. It continues its path, streaking towards the ground. However, at the last second, it unfolds it’s wings, slowing its decent.
The pegasus lands, its knees absorbing the impact. It straightens itself, folding its wings once again. ‘Hello there. The names Aurora.’ He extends a hand, and you shake it.
‘What, like the Aurora Borealis?’ Was that him making the pattern?
Aurora chuckles. ‘That would be my name. I’m one of Celestia’s guards. I control Equis’ atmosphere and magnetic field. Kinda like the weather-pony.’ You grin. Wow. A guard who can laugh. That’s new.
‘So. I mean, I know you’re fast and all but, how do we get back?’ You gesture to Aurora. ‘Unless you wanna give me a piggyback to Celestia’s castle?’
‘I’ll pass.’ Aurora smiles at you, then closes his eyes. You are suddenly enveloped in a black aura, slowly being lifted off the ground. You re-examine Aurora’s head, looking for a horn. He’s a pegasus, how is he doing this?
You look at Aurora, whose fists are clenched in concentration. His eyes shoot open, burning with a black aura. The same as this one! Without warning, Aurora rockets off of the ground, bringing you upwards with him. The sudden takeoff jolts your body, and rattles your teeth.
You close your eyes, suddenly feeling tired. You yawn, lying down in midair. Aurora’s magic supports you. Your last thoughts are of Luna, and then you are asleep

You fall onto the floor, smacking down on your back. You groan. That’s gonna bruise up . Aurora looks at you, laughing. ‘Sorry about the rough landing.’ You stand up, stretching your back. You take in your surroundings, and you realize you are in the same room where you first met Celestia.
You look around, and notice there is no-one in the room, except for you and Aurora. He obviously notices your confusion, because he speaks. ‘Celestia’s in the room to the right.’ You nod your thanks, and knock on the door.
‘Come in.’ Celestia’s gentle voice comes from inside. You open the door, and see Celestia. You smile at her, sitting down on one of the seats. Celestia speaks, her voice clouded with sadness. ‘We both know something is wrong with my sister.’
You nod your agreement, and Celestia continues. ‘I beleive it has something to do with Nightmare Night. Every year, we hold a celebration. It revolves around the legends of Nightmare Moon. My sister.’ You frown upon hearing the words.
Celestia continues. ‘When I sent my sister to the moon, I expected her to change her form. To Nightmare Moon. However, evidently she did not, for reasons unknown to me. I beleive that her failure to transform was more negative than a benefit.
Now she is returning as Nightmare Moon, as Nightmare Night approaches, I fear that we are running out of options as to what we shall do. I cannot allow my sister to ruin Equestria, as much as I love her.’
You frown, thinking of a solution. ‘Are you sure? Maybe she’s just not used to having ponies around her. Luna’s guards are her guards, she knows and trusts them. These town ponies however, they are like aliens to her. She never knew them, trusted them, Nothing!’
‘I hear your concern, although I find it difficult to beleive. To show such, aggression, towards some-pony is unspeakable. I fear the worst for my sister.’ You sit in silence, thinking of the possibilities. After some time Celestia breaks the silence.
‘As I said, I fear for the worst. If it comes to that, I will have to have her executed.’
Author's Note
Sorry for the long wait, and a short chapter. I need some more guards, so keep sending please. Thanks to Aurora Boreallis for, well, Aurora Boreallis. I'm getting towards the end of the story, about 2 or 3 chapters left. So yeah, thanks for all the support, once again!
You bury your head in your hands, shaking your head. 'Surely there's another way.' Your voice is weak. You knew something was wrong with Luna, but you would have never expected it to be this bad. Hearing Celestia say it took away all your energy.
'As I have already said, I have no other options. Perhaps you can fix it however.' Celestia shrugs, and you can see her trying to be brave.
You finally think of something that may help. 'Celestia, when is Nightmare Night?'
'It is in 3 days, why?' Celestia looks puzzled by your inquiry.
'That should give me enough time. You want to see your sister happy and well, yes?' Celestia nods, and you smile. 'Good. Then I'm sure you can spare some bits to see that happen?'
Celestia frowns. 'I am a princess, of course I can spare some money. Time however, I cannot give you much. You have until 1 day before Nightmare Night for your plan. I do hope it works.' Celestia nods at a guard, who runs off hastily.
You smile. 'Thank you. Then, I need you to send a letter to Luna. Tell her she is to meet me in town 3 days from now, at exactly 6:00 in the evening. Tell her, under no circumstances, is she to leave the castle before then. I will be staying in an inn, or motel, for the time being.'
Celestia stares at you in thought. 'You've always been a clever one. I suspect this plan is as good as the others..'
You frown slightly. 'It's the only one I can think of.' A guard comes rushing back into the room, 5 large pouches of bits in his hands.
'A total of 1,000 bits, princess.' Celestia nods her thanks to the guard, before handing the pouches to you.
'I'll see you soon. Good luck.' Celestia gives you a hug, before escorting you out of the castle. Aurora Boreallis is standing patiently by the door, whistling a tune to himself.
'Where to, boss? Back to Luna's castle?' Aurora pushes himself off of the wall, stretching as he does. You shake your head.
'Just in to town thanks.'
He nods, and closes his eyes in concentration. You are surrounded by his magic, and brace yourself for take-off. It does not help much, and you still feel the rattling of your teeth as you surge upwards. Aurora slows his ascent, and your body stops rattling.
'You alright down there?' Aurora's voice comes from above.
'Fine. It's a bloody rough take-off!' Your voice fights with the wind, but Aurora hears you anyways.
'That's the bad part of being the fastest flyer in Equis. I don't get many willing passengers!' Aurora laughs. You smile. This has got to work. For Luna.

After about 20 minutes of turbulence, you reach ponyville. Aurora lands with a loud "thud", however your landing is much softer. You extend a hand, and Aurora pulls himself up. 'Thanks' He brushes dirt off of his clothes.
'No problem. Thanks for the ride.' You extend your hand for a shake, but Aurora slaps it. You grin, and he takes off in the direction of the castle. The same colours spew from behind him as he flies, dancing in the sky. You take one moment to look at the beauty of it all, and then turn away.
You wander around the town, looking at various shops and stalls along the way. You stop by a busy cafe, and smile. This is perfect. You look around at the frenzy of waiters and waitresses bringing coffee, muffins, and a variety of biscuits to the busy customers. You make your way over to a table of 5 mares, and sit yourself down.
You smile at a waiter. 'A cappuccino and the bill please.' The waiter nods, hurrying off behind the bar. The mares exchange glances, and smile at you nervously. One of them, a turquoise mare with mint colored hair, speaks up.
'Sorry, but we all have our special some-ponies already.' Her comment makes you burst out laughing, and they exchange awkward glances. You stop laughing, but your grin remains plastered on your face.
'So do I. And that's what I'm here to talk about.' You smile at them, and you thank the waiter as he brings your coffee. You smile, taking a sip of the warm liquid. You continue. 'You may have heard about Princess Luna's, outburst, the other day.' They nod their agreement.
'Well, I am her, "special some-pony" as you would say. Celestia summoned me. Anyway, I need your help. Luna's been acting weird lately, and I know why. Princess Celestia has ordered Luna's execution.' You frown slightly, and they all gasp.
'Oh, I'm so sorry.' They all say. You wave your hand, dismissing the matter.
'But I'm gonna change that. You see, she's simply forgotten what it's like to have a friend, someone who she can talk to in times of need.' They correct you, telling you it is "some-pony" but you pay no attention to it. 'I need your help, to make her remember. Make her finally warm up to the public. I'm sure you're wondering what I'm trying to get at here. Basically, I'm holding an event to help her reintegrate into society, and I need ponies to show up.
'Can I count on you guys to be there? It's just something to show her what friends mean. That she doesn't have to be afraid.' Your voice comes out choked, and you wipe your eyes. My god I'm about to cry. They exchange glances, a few of them crying.
The turquoise coloured mare speaks again. 'I'm in.' The others nod their agreement.
You smile. 'Thank you. Just come meet me in town at 6:00 in 3 days.' The waiter brings the bill, 10 bits for the meal. You fish some bits out of the pouches and hand it to him. You stand up, thanking the mares as you make your way along.
You keep walking around the town, stopping the odd pony to inform them of your plan. You stop by an inn, and walk inside. 'Excuse me. Have you got a room for one that's available?' You ready your bit pouch.
'We have a single room available for just one night, and it will cost 50 bits. Breakfast included.' The mare behind the counter smiles at you. You fish the money out of your pouch, and she hands you a key. '4th room on the right.' You nod, and make your way to the room.
You place the key in the lock, pushing the door open. You drop onto the bed, sighing loudly. You open the door to the bathroom, stripping yourself down. You twist the shower handle, and the water streams down. Your thoughts return to Luna, and you worry for your mare-friend.
You finish off your shower, and you lie down on your bed. You replay the events of your journey in Equis, from meeting Celestia, to nearly choking on the moon, to meeting Aurora. You've come so far, in fact, your past life was crap anyway.
As your eyes start to tire, you dream of your future. How life will be without Luna, if it comes to that. You push that image out of your mind. How life will be with Luna. That's better. Can humans have children with ponies? I mean, we're not that different considering these ponies are a different kind altogether.
Questions, and fears, cloud your mind as you sleep.
__________________________
You wake up, planting your feet on the floor. You push off of the bed, using your arms to boost yourself. You reach for your pants, and realise you have a massive hard-on. Jesus, did I have a wet dream? You slide your hands over the bed, and you find the evidence.
There is a small damp spot of your fluids, and you curse. You decide it best to clean up your mess. Grabbing a small bucket of water and an old toothbrush, you get to work. Scrubbing away your juices was no problem, but now you had to dry it. Grabbing a cordless hairdryer, you start to evaporate all the water.
You hurriedly leave the room, rather embarrassed. You stop by the dining hall, grabbing some muesli before exiting the inn. You squint as the sun's rays shine bright in your eyes, and shake your head. Right, a stage. I need a stage. You go around town, trying to find a shop for building materials. You find one after some time, and walk inside.
'Hello? Service please.' You ring the bell, and no-one answers. 'Any-pony here?' You take a look around the shop, and still no-one comes. Eventually a pony dashes out of a store-room, answering your call.
'Terribly sorry good fellow, got myself in a little mess there. What can I help you with?' He re-adjusts the hat on his head.
'Yeah, do you have any wooden planks?' You look around the room, and see none. Maybe they're in the store-room?
The pony shakes his head. 'I'm afraid not son. Ran out just the other day.'
You sigh. 'Nails?'
'Nope.'
'Hammers.'
'Uh-uh.'
'Chairs!?'
'Not a single one.'
You groan, face-palming loudly. The shop-pony smiles apologetically. 'If it's any consent, I know somewhere you can get these. Head down to Sweet Apple Acres, they can probably give you most of those.' Your expression brightens, and you thank the stallion.
You follow his directions, heading down towards the town square. Turn right, and down the path take a left. After about 300 meters, you find the entrance to Sweet Apple Acres. You fold up the sheet containing the directions, slipping it into your pockets.
You stroll up the path, whistling an old tune that you learnt when you were in Earth. You pick up an apple from the ground, wiping the dust off of it. You take a bite into it, the juices exploding into your mouth. No wonder they call it Sweet Apple Acres!
'Can 'ah help yah?' You jump back in shock, turning to see where the voice came from. It comes again. 'Over here, sugar-cube.' An orange mare steps out from behind a tree.
You fumble with the apple, nearly dropping it. 'Uh, sorry. I'll pay for it if you want.'
The mare smiles at you. 'Not a problem. Ah think you were enjoying it.' You take another bite, and she laughs. 'The names Applejack.' You smile, and introduce yourself.
'I came her for something in particular. I need some materials, wooden planks.'
'You came to the right place. We gat plenty of building materials, if that's what yer looking fer.' She gestures up to a large red barn. 'Ah'd be happy ta let you take a look.'
You make your way up the path, talking to Applejack along the way. 'So what do you need these planks fer anyway?'
You sigh, memories flooding black into your mind. 'I was summoned into Equis by Celestia. As a present for Luna, so that she could be happy. But now, she's acting, well, just weird. And apparently it has something to do with Nightmare Night.' You take a deep breath, your breathing ragged. You continue explaining your dilemma to Applejack. 'So I'm building a stage. It's like an intervention. I have no idea if it will work, but I'm all out of options.'
You look over at Applejack, and lock eyes. She is staring at you, a sad, bewildered expression on her face. You realize this is because you are crying. You sniff, wiping a tear away. You take deep breaths, trying to calm yourself down. Applejack wraps her arms around you, patting your back gently.
'Hey, it's alright honey. Everything's gonna be fine.' Her tone is soft, like a mother comforting her child. 'Yall gone do just fine with her.' You straighten yourself up, blinking away the tears. You suddenly feel emotionally exhausted, and you struggle to catch your breath.
You carry on up the path, and open the door to the barn. Applejack grins, flicking a light switch. You whistle at the contents of the barn. Everywhere you look there are piles of wooden planks, paint cans, and an array of building tools. You sort through the contents of the barn, grabbing nails and hammers.
You dump all your purchases into a large cart, and take out your bit pouch. 'How much for all this?' You turn to Applejack.
'Ah reckon it's about 100 bits fer all that.' You pay her the correct amount and head off, but she calls you back. 'Wait! Yall gonna build it by yourself?'
You raise an eyebrow. 'Unless you got other ideas?'
Applejack smiles. 'Tell you what. Ah'll go get mah sis' and we can give you a hand.' You return the smile. Applejack runs off, and you wait patiently outside.
__________________________
After you had finished up at the barn, Applejack got her sister, Applebloom, and the three of you headed off to town. You had all been working on the stage for a couple of hours, and most of it had been finished by now. The stage consisted of an elevated platform, with 2 chairs in the centre, and a row of seats at the front.
You bring your hammer up, and slam it back down. The nail embeds itself in the wood, and you sigh. The sun shines down, with no shade to block its heat. You take a sip of your cider, and sigh. Its refreshing taste gives you more energy. 'Hey, Applejack. Pass me a nail will you?' You reach out, opening your hand.
You wipe the sweat off of your brow, taking the nail from Applejack. You nod your thanks, and place it down on the wood. Nailing it into place, you yawn. Your eyes start to close, and you shake your head. You start to feel very drowsy, and you fall to your knees.
'Hey. Sugarcube, yall feeling alright?' You hear Applejack's voice, but it sounds very distant. You open your mouth to reply, but nothing comes out. Your eyes close, and you go limp.
__________________________
You open your eyes, and see nothing. 'Hello? Anyone there?' You hear a voice come from the darkness.
'Over here.' The voice is feminine. It speaks with a soft, sweet tone.
'Who are you?' You whip your head round, trying to find the source of the voice.
'Cold.' You roll your eyes.
'I'm not playing hot and cold with a voice from nowhere.'
'Give it a try! Come on.' You sigh, taking a step forward.
'Warmer. Warmer. Hot, hot!'
'Right. I won. Now, what's my prize.' You fold your arms, waiting for a response.
You hear a shuffling from behind you, and an arm touches you on the shoulder. You spin around, and feel a pair of lips press against yours. You make eye contact with Luna, who's eyes are staring at you lustfully.
You push away from her. 'Not that I wasn't enjoying that, but where the hell are we?'
Luna laughs. 'We're in your dream-zone.' You raise your eyebrow, and Luna groans. 'Your dream-zone. It's where you have all your dreams and where I can communicate to you.'
'How do you, I mean, this is, you can, how?' You shake your head, clearing your thoughts. You take a deep breath, and start again. 'How are you able to access my mind and dream-zone?'
Luna rolls her eyes. 'Princess of the moon. Ruler of the night! What happens during the night-time? You dream. What am I? The ruler of the night. Therefore, I rule your dreams! Well, I can access them, and alter them.'
Your brain hurts from all this information. 'I can't think straight.'
Luna smiles at you, placing her arms around your shoulders. 'Then don't think. Just..... feel.'
Luna dives in for a kiss, and you lock lips with her. She opens her mouth, and your tongue slides in. You explore every inch of her mouth, and she moans into yours. You move your arms to her hips, running your hands along her soft fur. You rub Luna's back, causing her to shiver with pleasure.
You continue your trajectory, your hand sliding up her back and to her mane. Twirling the silky hair in your fingers, you tug lightly. Luna moans, and you continue to massage her hair. You open your eyes, and Luna opens hers. She breaks the kiss, licking her lips. She leans forward, and whispers in your ear. 'Don't worry. We'll finish up later.' Luna smiles sweetly.
'Now, the real reason I came.' She snaps her fingers, and a sofa appears in the darkness. She beckons you towards it. 'Come on, sit down.' You take a seat next to her, and she snuggles up in your arm.
'I missed you a lot, you know?' Luna looks up at you.
'I know. I missed you too.'
'So how was your meeting with Celestia?'
You frown slightly. 'Could have gone better.'
Luna looks up at you. 'How so?'
'......'
'Well?'
You sigh. 'I really want to tell you Luna. But I think it would make things worse. You just gotta trust me.'
Luna huffs, pouting. You smile, and squeeze her tighter. 'She's sending me back to the moon, isn't she?'
You freeze for a second, realising now you must tell her. 'It's worse than that.'
Luna looks up at you, a single tear forming in the corner of you. You both sit in awkward silence, until Luna speaks. 'It's execution, isn't it?'
Luna buries her head in your arm, sobbing loudly now. You hold her steady, trying to comfort her. With every sob her body shakes, but you hold her still. After a few minutes, she looks up at you. She sniffs, wiping a tear away from her eye. 'I'm so sorry. I know something's happening, but I don't know how to stop it.'
'Hey Luna, it's okay. It's alright.' You smile at her, but still she sobs.
She looks up at you with big, round eyes. 'No, it's not okay. I was worried when you came to the moon, I, I didn't think it was time. I was scared, worried, that if I was brought back, something bad would happen. And it has! It's happening right now! I can't control it! I just don't know
Ever since we got back, I've been having dreams. Of me, but it's not me! It's her! Nightmare Moon. And, and I see her in the mirror, and she just, she just seems to take control of me! I'm so sorry! I should have known, should have stayed on the moon. I deserve whatever's coming to me!' Luna breaks down again, tears pouring down her face.
You pull her in tight, and she gasps. 'Luna, please. This isn't your fault. It's not your fault.'
She looks up at you again, sniffing. 'It's, it's not?'
You wipe a tear away from her eye. 'Of course not. Don't worry, we'll get through this together. Whatever happens.'
'You won't leave me? I'm more trouble than I'm worth you know!'
'Don't say that Luna. I'll be with you until the end.'
Luna looks up at you, and smiles. A weak one, but still a smile. 'Till the end.' She echoes your words, and snuggles up with you tighter. You hold her there, rocking her back and forth. Minutes pass. Hours, even, you have no clue how long it is. Luna stands up.
'Thank you. I'll see you tonight.' Luna smiles at you, kissing you on the cheek.
You watch as she leaves, and suddenly your head starts to spin.

'Hey. Sugarcube! You alright?' You can hear Applejack's voice, and you open your eyes. 'Oh thank Celestia. Ah thought you were dead.'
You get up, still slightly dizzy. 'How long was I out for?'
'Only fer a few minutes. What happened?' Applejack inquires.
You rub your head, which is thumping. 'Oh, Luna just wanted to talk. Something about dream-walking and stuff.' Applejack raises and eyebrow. You groan once more, the thumping now starting to wear off. 'It's, uh, she can see dreams, and alter them. Sorry, AJ, my head is killing me!'
Applejack smiles. 'Well, if you wanna take a break, just let me know, and Ah'll get you a drink.' You smile back at her.
'It's fine, really. Let's just get this stage done.' You get back to your work, nailing wooden planks to the ground, setting up chairs, and so on.
After a few hours, you finally finish the stage. You stand back, admiring your work. The stage consists of a large wooden platform, raised 1 meter off the ground. Purple curtains drape down from both sides, forming a sort of backdrop. Two chairs sit on the stage, one for you and one for Luna.
In front of the stage sit 4 rows of chairs, where everyone, correction, everypony, would sit. Applejack stands next to you, and Applebloom runs to her side. Applejack places her hand on Applebloom's head, and ruffles it. She giggles, squirming out of Applejack's grasp.
You smile, turning round to face the sisters. You extend your arm, and open your hand. 'Thank you. For everything. I appreciate it.' Applejack takes your hand in hers, a firm, strong, yet not painful, grip.
She smiles, a massive grin that spreads across her face, from ear to ear. 'Not a problem, I had fun, actually.' You hug her, and move over to Applebloom. You squat down, coming face to face with the filly.
You smile at her. 'Thanks for the help, you worked hard.' Applebloom smiles, and brings you in for a hug. She laughs, squeezing you tighter. You let her go, standing up. 'Again. I can't tell you how much it means to me.'
Applejack smiles, and places her arm around Applebloom's shoulder. They head off in the direction of sweet apple acres, Applebloom waving madly as they walk back to their home. You smile at them, and check your watch. 4.30. Still got some time.
You make your way along town, and sit yourself down at a cafe. You order a coffee, to keep yourself awake. The dark, strong liquid leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, but one that you have become accustomed to. You finish up, tipping the waiter some bits, and head off. Back in the direction of the stage.
You arrive there, and take a seat. You wait for Luna's arrival, constantly worrying about the next few hours.
____________________________
You smile as you see Luna's figure appear out from behind a tree. She is wearing a long gown, which matches the colour of her fur. On her head rests a small crown, decorated with rubies and emeralds. Her long mane flows out from behind her, shining brightly in the now darkening sky.
She smiles at you, beaming from ear to ear. She takes a step towards you, then another. You can't contain your excitement, and you run to Luna. You reach within a few steps, and embrace her. Squeezing her tightly, you laugh with happiness. Luna laughs with you, squeezing you back.
You place your hands on her cheeks, kissing her forehead, then her nose, then her lips. Luna giggles, twisting away from you. You pull her back, stroking her hair. She sighs. 'It's so great to see you.'
You smile at her, taking her hand in yours. 'And it's great to see you.' You kiss her hand, going down on one knee. 'M'lady'
Luna giggles, blushing ever so slightly. She looks around, taking her hand away from you. She scans her surroundings, her eyes darting around. She seems nervous. Luna looks down at her feet, and shuffles them. You walk up to her, linking your arm through hers.
'It's gonna be fine Luna. You just need to calm down. Be yourse.....' You trail off as you realise. Being herself means Nightmare Moon. You force a smile. 'Be cheerful.'
Luna smiles nervously. 'I will. But.' Again Luna looks at the ground. 'If it fails. If it doesn't work.'
You cut Luna off, silencing her. You take her chin in between your index finger and thumb, pulling her head towards you. 'It will. You have to stay positive Luna. Otherwise Nightmare Moon is gonna take over, and then we're both screwed.' You kiss her on the cheek. 'It's gonna be okay.'
Luna smiles weakly. You take her hand, and lead her towards the stage. A busy crowd of ponies are already shuffling into seats, pushing and shoving to get to one. Luna peers out from the curtain, makes a small "eep" sound, and brings her head back. 'What is this, exactly?'
You raise a finger, and open your mouth to answer. 'It's a.....' Your finger droops, and you close your mouth. You stroke your chin briefly, clicking your tongue. 'I, I don't actually know.' You laugh, despite the situation. 'I thought it would be like some sort of intervention but......'
But what? You didn't think it through. You rushed in head first to save your girlfriend, without even knowing what it was all about. Great job, jackass. You mentally kick yourself. 'I dont know. Just, do stuff they want you to, answer questions, and remember.' You place your fingers on your mouth, and pull it apart in a grin. 'Smile.'
Luna smiles. 'Good.' You kiss her forehead, and lead her up on stage. Multiple ponies cheer, others mutter, and others simply stare in awe. The noise dies down, and you smile at Luna. She stands up. 'Hello everyone. As you may know, my name is Princess Luna. This is my partner.' She gestures towards you.
You grin at her formality. Partner The word makes you smile. She may be a Princess, but you never expected such formality. You raise you hand, a "hello" gesture to the crowd. Luna continues. 'You may have heard of my outburst the other day. I am deeply sorry to those I offended. It was not my intention.
I am here today to apologise to you all. I cannot explain how I feel. It is hard to control my temper. Nightmare Night is approaching, and Nightmare Moon, I fear, may return.' A gasp runs through the crowd. People mutter, and you overhear certain conversations. "She should be locked up" "What will we do?" "Shh baby don't worry".
Luna obviously hears it as well, and her expression saddens. She bites her lower lip, in what you guess as an attempt to calm herself. You stand up, and walk towards her. You take her arm, and bring her back to her seat. 'Don't lose your cool Luna. You'll blow it.'
She sighs, fidgeting in her chair. The muttering continues, but is less audible. You wait a while longer, and soon the muttering has died down. A small colt stands up, and you recognise it as the one from town the other day. It's ball is patched back up, the bits of rubber stuck together in an attempt to fix it.
He pushes his arms forward, handing the ball to Luna. 'Can you sign my ball Princess Luna?' The colt speaks with an excited tone, but tries to hide it. Not very well though. Luna hesitates for a moment, then reaches out. She is about to take the ball, but she brings her arm back again.
You elbow her in the ribs, and she sucks in her breath sharply. You frown at her, and motion towards the ball with your head. She reaches out again, and this time takes the ball. Summoning a pen from the matter that surrounds her, she creates a pen. She marks the ball, the pen squeaking against the tape.
You smile at her. But you quickly lose your happiness as she throws the ball up in the air. Her magic envelopes the ball, and in a streak of blue flame, sends it flying across the sky. The small colt's ears droop downwards, and he shuffles back to his seat, his head hanging low and muttering curses.
You clench your fist, completely disgraced by Luna's behaviour. But she simply grins. A large smile from ear to ear, her eyes beaming with happiness. You are about to take her off stage, enjoy having her while you can, and just give up with rehabilitation. But something stops you.
You hear a loud whine come from behind you, like a jet plane flying at top speed. You stand up, out of your chair, and turn around. You see a small blue dot in the distance, sparkling and dancing through the air. It grows bigger and bigger, until you can see what it is.
It's the ball. The colt's ball. It is flying through the air, towards the stage. It's blue flame is dancing behind it, leaving a blazing trail through the sky. The colt stands up, looking at it. A massive grin spreads across his face, and he leaps out of his chair.
The ball slows down, landing safely in Luna's hand. She hands it to the colt, both of them grinning wildly. The colt yells out. 'That was so cool! The ball went like whoosh' He spins his hand through the air, re-enacting the balls flight. 'And then like "Shrrreeee" and then you caught it like "pff please" OH MY GOD YOU'RE COOL!'
The colt drops his ball, running back to Luna. He throws his arms around her, laughing excitedly. Luna laughs loudly hugging the colt back. A loud "daaawww" runs through the crowd, and you can't help but do the same. The moment is so sweet. Luna pushes the colt away gently, and speaks to him.
'There's another surprise there.' She smiles at him.
The colt raises an eyebrow. 'A surprise?' Luna smiles at him, and turns the ball in his hand. The colt tilts his head to the side.
'It's your signature. I saw it already.' The colt states matter-of-factly.'
Luna laughs. 'Below it.' The colt looks down, and freezes in place.
His eyes expand, growing bigger and bigger, until you think they will pop. He opens his mouth to speak, but only manages a stutter. 'Sign, sign, b, by.' The colt jumps up with excitement. 'Mom! Mom! Mom look! It's signed by Buck Norris! Buck Norris oh my god.
Thank you thank you thank you!' The colt runs back to Luna once again, leaping into her arms. "You're the best Princess ever!' Luna places the colt back on the floor, and he runs back to his mother.
Luna stands up, addressing the crowd. 'Please, ask any question you wish.'

You sit on your chair, Luna next to you. Throughout the course of this, "intervention", there were a variety of questions. "What's it like to be an Alicorn" "How does Celestia act in person" "What was it like on the moon".
As the last ponies start to leave, waving a goodbye, or sending their best wishes, you start to relax. Finally it seems that you and Luna can be happy and peaceful at last. Or at least, you hope. 'So. How are you feeling?'
Luna stares at you, tears welling in her eyes. But she isn't sad. That much you can tell. She's smiling, a massive grin that spreads from ear to ear, and her eyes shine like the moon itself. No, she is definitely happy. 'She's gone.'
You're confused. 'Who?'
She lets out a muffled laugh. 'Nightmare Moon. I can't see her in my mind anymore. She's gone. For good.' You stand there for a moment, so relieved that you have no clue what to do. You snap out of your trance, and you know exactly what to do. You grab Luna by the waist, pulling her in for a kiss.
You press your lips firmly against Luna's, all your happiness channeled into that one kiss. You place her hand in yours, and she moans quietly. Placing her hand on your chest, Luna pushes you away. 'I'm happy too, but let's get back to the castle first. Then....' She leaves the statement hanging, before shrugging. 'I think you can guess what we'll do.'
You grin. You know exactly what will happen. Linking her arm through yours, you head towards the everfree. Looking up, you notice a streak of colours heading towards you. 'Hey look! Celestia must be congratulating us.' You smile at Luna, and she rolls her eyes.
You can only just make out Aroura's face as he speeds towards you. You wave to him, but he doesn't slow down. If anything, he speeds up. Just as he is about to hit Luna, his wings spread out and he is stopped abruptly before her. His horn starts to glow, and Luna is enveloped in his aura.
'Help!' Luna can't do anything. Judging by the look of things, Aurora is casting a spell on Luna to stop her magic. You sprint towards Luna, reaching out to keep her from being taken away. But you are too late. Giving you one last salute, Aurora takes off, Luna being lifted off with him
And just like that, you're all alone again.

You wanna know something? I ran out of ideas and just fucked up the story. I had no clue what to right and this was all rushed. I just want to get this finished. This is a really shit chapter. I mean it. I'm sorry.
You stand in place, frozen still. Your hair is frizzed from Aurora's speedy take-off, and your ears are ringing. You are left completely shocked. But not for long.
'SHIT!'
You take off in a speedy pursuit, following the streaks of colours left by Aurora. Your feet pound along the tiles of Ponyville's streets, and with each stride your knees are shaken. You swerve round confused ponies, dodging in and out of busy crowds. You keep your eyes in the sky, following Aurora's trail as best as you can.
Ponies yelled at you as you ran past, calling you crazy and telling you to watch where you're going. But you dont care. Your legs ache, but you know you have to carry on. You can't just abandon Luna 'cause your fucking legs hurt.
Just when you think your lungs are going to burst, you can see Celestia's castle. 'Thank God.' You pause, resting your hands on your knees, trying to get your breath back. After swallowing some bile, and wiping sweat off your forehead, you walk towards the front gates.
You walk up to the front gates, your fists clenched. Two guards donned in yellow armour stand on each side of the path, both of them wielding halberds. They cross their weapons together, blocking off the path entirely. 'No visitors allowed. Scram.'
You clench your teeth, not in the mood for negotiating. 'Get the fuck out of the way. I need to see Celestia, and I need to see her now.'
One of the guards steps forward, and takes out a dagger. 'I said, Scram.'
The other guard steps forward. 'Leave him Dagger. He's Luna's man.'
Dagger makes a face at you, then steps back. You make a half-hearted gesture of thanks to the other guard, and then bolt up the bath. You push open the door to Celestia's castle, not bothering to knock. You walk through the halls, keeping your head high and showing as little emotion as possible.
Housemaids jump back in shock at seeing you, and guards mutter things that you cannot hear. You pay no attention to it, just trying to find Celestia.
You turn round a corner, and there it is. Celestia's door is wide open, the velvet carpet rolled out. You walk into the room, and it only seems bigger than before. But you are not here to admire Celestia's room. You turn your head towards the throne, where Celestia sits.
She is sitting on her throne, legs crossed and arms on her lap, as if nothing were wrong. She smiles at you, and beckons you forward.
'Where is she?' You grit your teeth, trying not to punch Celestia in her smug face.
'Luna is fine my dear. You shouldn't worry so much.' She stands up on the floor, and grabs a salt-rimmed glass. 'Martini?'
'I'm not here for a fucking drink Celestia. Give me Luna.'
'Suit yourself.' Celestia brings the glass up to her lips, taking a small sip. 'As for Luna, I'm afraid that's not allowed. I gave you a deadline, and I'm afraid to say that you failed.'
'I did not fail. Luna's fine.' You are interrupted as a loud scream comes from down the hall, and a guard comes rushing in.
'Celestia! We cannot hold Luna for much longer!'
Celestia casually waves him off, and turns back to you. 'Does that sound like she's fine?'
'Fucking hell Celestia! You captured her against her will, and now she's being executed! Of course she's not gonna be fucking happy!'
Celestia flinches slightly. For a second, something flashes across her face, but then she returns to her calm self. What was it? Fear? No. That was unmistakeable. It was guilt. You raise an eyebrow, slightly curious now. 'You're not sure about this are you? You dont want to have her executed?'
Celestia stutters, and you push onwards. 'You don't want to! But you're leading by example, and that conflicts with your better judgement. No one's told you to stop, and that makes you think it's okay! Well I'm telling you now, you don't have to go through with it. Stop.'
You place an arm on Celestia's shoulder, and she bites her lip in thought. She looks away for a second, and looks back at you. 'I, I don't know.'
'Jesus Christ! Fucking cancel the execution! Don't be so stupid!' Your words echo through the halls. Celestia's eyes widen in shock, but they then narrow until they are but tiny slits.
'You think I want to have my sister killed? We are blood and kin, and we ruled together once! I would sooner have you killed than my own sister!' You try to apologise, but the words don't form. Celestia continues, pushing you backwards. 'How dare you question my royal judgement! And more so using such words! I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT!'
Celestia looks away, and then at the floor. 'Luna's execution takes place in 2 hours.' She mutters it so quietly that you barely hear, then walks off.
______________________________
You pace back and forth outside the execution chamber, sweat pouring down your face, and your heart trying to leap out of your chest. It had been 2 hours since Celestia, understandably, stormed off, and the execution was scheduled to take place now.
You hear metal plates clacking together, and feet shuffling along the floor. Celestia turns the corner, two guards walking behind her. And there she is.
'LUNA!' You run up to her, sliding on your knees to be at her level. Her hands are in chains, and some sort of device, which seems to be blocking Luna's magic, sits on her horn. You kiss Luna on the cheek, and embrace her. She sits her head on your shoulder, and tears stain your shirt.
'Oh god Luna. I'm so so sorry. Don't worry. I'll get you out of here.' Luna smiles weakly, and you smile back. Your eyes are clouded with tears.
'It would take a miracle now. I'm sorry.' Luna shakes her head. She places her hand on your cheek, the soft fur brushing against your skin. You feel arms wrap around your shoulders, and you are dragged away.
'I love you.' Luna's lips move, but you can hardly hear her. She seems so far away already. You reach out to her, trying to stop her from leaving. You get so close to her, and finally your hand touches hers. And then she is dragged away.
You are taken into a corner of the executions room, and seated on a hard wooden bench. Two guards stand on either side of you, eyeing you carefully. They wield spears, and wear gold armour, heavily plated and adorned with dents and scratches from previous battles.
A pony stands up, walking towards a stand, where a book is opened and an ink and quill sits on the side. He pushes his glasses up onto his nose, and clears his throat. 'We will now begin with the Royal Execution. Princess Luna, to the execution stall, if you would.'
Luna appears from the other side of the room, and you stifle a sob. You open your mouth and stand up, about to call out to her. One of the guards bashes you in the stomach with the hilt of his spear, and you fall back on the bench. Luna shuffles into a large cage, with a steel beam in the middle.
A guard opens the beam, and shoves Luna into the space created. He then closes it again, locking Luna in place. The execution master continues. 'Princess Luna. You are being executed for the mass genocide of the Changeling race, a crime which will never be undone.'
The pony motions Celestia forward, and she steps up to the stage with him. 'Luna, your execution is....' He unwraps a scroll, and studies it for a second. 'Death by the "Silenced" spell.' Some of the ponies seated gasp. You frown.
'What the hell is that?'
One of the guards in front of you breathes in deeply. 'One of the forbidden spells, only used under extreme circumstances. It's quick, but one of the most painful deaths ever.'
You look over at Luna, and lock eyes with her for a second. 'I'm so sorry.' You mouth to her, and she closes her eyes. When she opens them again, they are clouded with tears, and she is shaking. You shake your head, and bite your lip to stop yourself from breaking down.
I have to stay strong. For Luna. Luna looks away from you, and back to Celestia. 'Sister, please.'
Celestia looks away, her eyes shimmering with tears. ' Let's make it quick.' Celestia takes a deep breath, and turns back to Luna.
The execution master speaks again, his voice booming through the hall. 'You may begin.' Celestia's horn glows a burning white, and you half-shield your eyes with your hand. Celestia closes her eyes, and a bolt of white flashes from her horn, striking Luna in the chest.
Luna's chest begins to glow. It flashes a brilliant, vivid white, and strands of the same glow creep up to Luna's eyes, and down to her legs. The light pierces her clothes, blinding any-pony nearby. Luna opens her mouth, and a beam of light shines through the crowd.
And then everything stops. The light fades, and Luna's head slumps to the side, resting against her shoulder. 'Luna!' You cry out, and run towards her. The two guards converge on you, grappling with you and trying to restrain you. You knee one in the stomach, your knee buckling as it hits the guards tough armour.
But your blow strikes true, knocking the guards breath out and sending him crumpling to the floor. The other guard reaches for his spear, but Celestia's voice stops him. 'Leave him. He can do nothing now.' The guard backs away, and as soon as he does, you bolt.
You run past startled ponies, to where Luna lays in the cage. 'Luna? Luna!'
'Hey.' Luna smiles weakly at you. 'Hey. Sorry about this.'
'For fucks sake Luna don't say that. This isn't your fault.'
'I know. I'm just....... Still sorry. That you have to go through this.' Luna reaches towards you, placing her hand on your cheek. You take it in yours, and kiss it. 'Together 'till the end, right?'
'Yeah. Yeah. 'Till the end.'
'Well, might want to make that longer. It's gonna be the end quite soon.'
Tears start to well in your eyes. 'Don't say that Luna. I'll make it okay.'
'I'll miss you.' Luna kisses you on the lips, and her breathing turns ragged. 'I love you.' Her eyes roll back in her head, and her head slumps onto your shoulder.
'Luna! Oh fuck.' You are now openly crying, tears pouring down your face and onto Luna's still chest. 'Luna!'
'I'm sorry. What's done is done.' Celestia steps up towards Luna, but you whirl round.
'You stay the fuck away from her! You did this! Luna didn't deserve any of it!'
'She wiped out an entire race. I could not let something that big remain unpunished.'
You turn back to Luna. She looks so peaceful, resting on the floor, her arms by her sides and her mouth closed in a thin line. You step towards her body, and scoop it up gently. 'I'm giving her a proper burial.'
'That's a wonderful idea. I'll come with you.'
'NO! Fucking hell Celestia, don't you get it? I said stop! But no!' You stare at Celestia, your eyes stinging and your body feels as if it's on fire. 'You killed her, and I won't let anything else happen. Curse you Celestia! You're sick!'
Celestia recoils, her eyes wide with shock. You turn around, Luna still in your arms. You walk out the castle, cradling Luna's body in your arms, like a mother with her baby.
'I'm so sorry Luna.'

Shit I'm crying right now. I doubt you guys are, you de-sensitised bastards. Fuck you all.
Zecora rushed around her shop, grabbing spices and herbs from the shelves. She threw a couple of garlic cloves into her cauldron, and they exploded with a loud pop that left her ears ringing. She stepped back from the cauldron, blinking away the dizziness.
Then she heard something. A noise, like feet shuffling on the floor. Against leaves. And, a smell. Something that smelt soft, fragrant, but at the same time it smelt like it was dead. Not putrefying, in fact it was quite recent, but still enough for her to smell it.
She picked up a handful of sand, and doused the flame underneath the cauldron. As she pushed the door of her hut open, she saw a strange creature. It was like a pony, but it lacked fur. 'Do excuse me sir, you have caught my eye. You seem to lack fur, and I'm wondering why!' Zecora's eyes widened when she saw what stood before her.
It was a human.
__________________________
You turn around sluggishly, dropping the shovel into the small hole you have dug out. Before you stands a zebra, dressed in some sort of furry cloth. She has large, gold earrings hanging from her ear lobes, and an ivory needle runs through her nose.
'Hey.' Somehow you manage to get the words out, but they are muffled by your sobs.
The zebra looks down at Luna's body, resting peacefully on the floor. Your shovel lies nearby, inside the hole that is soon to be Luna's grave. Thinking about it makes you grit your teeth in a mixture of emotions. Anger, sadness, disappointment, and just trying to not cry on the spot.
'This is truly a fright! Is that the Princess of the Night?' You nod, and the zebra shakes her head.
'Yeah. She, she was executed just earlier. I'm giving her a nice burial.' You motion towards the roses next to Luna, and the small hole that is to be her burial.
Zecora shakes her head again, and bites her lip. 'Your situation is truly tragic, but I can help you with some magic.' She motions to her hut, and you have no choice but to go ahead. 'Bring your mare-friend. Today is not the end.'
You pick Luna up, and walk into the hut. A large cauldron stands in the middle, bubbling and boiling, and Zecora rushes past you. She throws some leaves in to the cauldron, and with her back to you, reaches out with her hand. 'Can you please get me that flask? The one that looks like a wine cask.'
'What colour?' You shift through multiple flasks, all that look like barrels of wine, but smaller.
'The one that is orange.' Zecora stops for a second. 'Ahh kak, what rhymes with orange?'
You smile slightly to yourself, but it quickly fades when you remember the task at hand. You pick up the small barrel and take it over to Zecora. She makes a sign with her hand, and you assume it to mean "pour it all in." So you do.
The cauldron bubbles, and then dies down. You poke your head over the side to look at what is happening, and Zecora yelps. She reaches for you just as the mixture bubbles and spews hot gas into the air where your face was a second ago. The mixture calms once more, and Zecora nods.
She grabs a bottle and a ladel, and starts to spoon the mixture into the small vial. Zecora places a cork on the vial, and shakes it up. The liquid turns a strange mixture of black. In one parts it is grey, others darker than the night, and others the colour of shade. But the strangest thing is the small slit of bright white in the center of the mixture.
'This will bring her back from the dead, pour it in her mouth, and hold her head.' You nod and grab the small vial. Moving sluggishly, you open Luna's mouth, and pop the cork off the bottle. You tilt the bottle forwards, and the black liquid oozes out, dripping into Luna's mouth.
You place her hands on either side of her face, her cold cheeks warming up at the touch of your hands. Zecora steps towards you, and places her hands just above Luna's chest. She closes her eyes, and starts muttering some words in a strange language that you can't quite understand.
Zecora swishes her hands through the air, drawing symbols of light that fade after a short time, and drift slowly towards Luna's eyes. They flare up when they touch Luna's corpse, and each time they grow brighter, and brighter, and brighter. Zecora turns to you.
'The spell is not yet done, but the next part will not be fun.'
You scoff. 'Nothing's been fun today.'
Zecora nods. 'Very well. Let's continue the spell.'
'Yeah yeah just get it done.'
'First listen to me. I warn you, the next part is not free.' Zecora pulls a emerald necklace out from between her breasts. 'This is my most prized creation, it will help finish the operation. The next part will require you to exchange part of you soul, and never again will you be whole.'
You chew you lip in thought. Fuck it. Anything for Luna. 'Do it. Just bring her back.'
Zecora turns to Luna, and places the necklace on her forehead. Zecora then turns to you, and places an emerald in your hand. 'Close your hand, clear your mind. And your souls shall be entwined.'
You do as you are told, and Zecora mutters more words. Your mind starts to swirl and go numb. You blink sleepiness away from your eyes, but find you cannot open them once closed. Your arms tense, then relax. Your toes dig into the carpet, and you grit your teeth.
Suddenly your vision sparks to life. You see a small filly, with blue fur, and a light blue mane. She turns towards you, and a large grin spreads on her face. 'Luna?'
'Luna?' The voice echoes, but it is not yours. You whirl around, and Celestia, or, a younger version, stands there. She stands with her arms out in front of her, and Luna runs towards her. She passes right through you, as if you are only a phantom, and the into Celestia's arms.
Another image swirls into your vision. Luna, older now, stands on a hillside, next to Celestia. Celestia points towards the moon, and waves her hand across, drawing an imaginary line in the sky. Luna nods, and traces the same line, but with more strain.
At first nothing happens, but then slowly, the moon starts to follow Luna's finger, being guided by her movements. The moon lowers until it is on the horizon, and then it dips away into nothing. Celestia smiles, and moves her own hand. The sun follows her hand.
Darkness. Nothing but darkness. A figure appears to your right, a guard with dark fur, heavily armoured. Another pony to your left. Light fur, heavily armoured. Celestia's guard. They charge at each other, swords clashing in the dim light. You walk past the guards, and they pay no attention to you. Of course they wouldn't. It's just memories,
You continue up, into what seems like a castle. It is worn down, and moss grows on the edges of the bricks. More guards battle inside the towers, swords clashing, armour breaking. You stumble past, and then you see them.
Luna and Celestia stand, face to face, swords in hand. Luna's wings flare out, and she lunges towards Celestia. Celestia pulls out an orb, and in a bright flash of light, Luna disappears. Tears pouring down her face, Celestia walks outside to a window, and looks up at the night sky.
The moon flashes bright, like the sun, but then fades to the normal colour. 'Forgive me Luna.' Celestia walks backs into the castle.

You snap awake in the hut, and Zecora douses your face with water. She smiles at you, and points behind you. You turn around, and are knocked down by some-pony. You recognise the blue fur.
'LUNA!' You pull her tighter, squeezing her tight against you. 'Oh thank god you're okay!'
She kisses you on the lips, laughing. 'But that's all thanks to you. Oh I love you!' You stand up and turn towards Zecora.
'Thank you. I, I don't know how to repay you.'
'Luna's life you have saved. Do not let it waste.'
'I promise.' You turn to Luna, and kiss her again. 'One thing. The part about my soul......'
'You'll understand when the time comes, and when it does, you'll need both thumbs.'
You raise an eyebrow. 'I ran out of rhymes, now get out, it's closing time.' Zecora smiles, and shows you the way out.
You walk back towards the castle, Luna hooked in your arm. She rests her head on your shoulder, and sighs. 'Thank you. I can't beleive you managed to do it.'
'Anything for you Luna.' You kiss her forehead. 'Come on. Let's go home.' You keep her in your arms, and together, you head back to the castle.
Author's Note
You really think I would kill Luna? Like, for ever? Just the thought makes me cry. Nearly done with this story, then I can move on to others. Oh, and for anyone wondering, "kak" means shit in Afrikaans (kinda obvious but watevs).
NOT FINISHED YET. We have one more chapter.
*clop clop*
You open the door to Luna's room, and gesture her in. 'Ladies, sorry, Mares first.' Luna smiles at you, and grabs your hand as she walks past. You close the door as Luna enters, and she pulls you along. She sits down on the bed, and pats the space next to her.
You lie down on the space next to her, and as soon as you do, Luna jumps on top of you. Your lips lock, and you close your eyes, lost in ecstasy. You place your hands on Luna's hips, slowly swaying her from side to side. She traces her tongue along your lip, and opens her mouth.
You slide your tongue inside, probing all around her teeth and gums. Luna's tongue goes off on an adventure of its own, caressing the underside of yours. She moans quietly into your mouth, her chest vibrating with pleasure. She places her hand on top of your chest, and grips your shirt tightly.
'You know, it's kinda hot in here. I think, we, might be more comfortable, you know, without our shirts.....' A deep crimson blush spreads across Luna's cheeks. 'I mean, it's just.......'
You place your index finger on Luna's lips, shushing her. 'Luna. You're very beautiful, sexy even. Just, not when you talk.' You laugh as Luna looks away, trying to hide her blush.
She turns back to you. 'Well sorry, I wasn't taught how to be sexy in Princess School.' She pouts her lip for a brief second, then smiles. She moves her arms around her back, and smiles at you. 'Well then, how sexy is this?' She pulls her shirt off, and with it, her bra. Her breasts push out of her chest, and Luna grins.
You stutter for a second. 'Very. Yes, very sexy.' You laugh nervously. You slide your own shirt over your head. Luna dives in for another kiss, and this time, more ferociously. You slide your hand along her fur, up to her breasts, and then her nipple. You squeeze in between your fingers, rolling it around.
Luna moans, louder this time, and pushes away from you. 'One, one second.' She speaks between heavy breaths. Her horn lights up, and the room is surrounded in a blue glow. The curtains close and the door locks. Luna takes a deep breath, and slides her hand down your chest.
She reaches your pants, and gives them a light tug. They slide smoothly off your legs, and Luna chucks them off the bed. She eyes your tent, focusing on the pole in the middle supporting the structure. She grips her hand around it, and you let out a low groan.
She pulls away your boxers, and places her face closer to your twitching head. Her breath is warm, and it sends a tingling sensation down your spine. You breath out heavily. 'Ready?' Luna smiles at you.
You nod. 'Yeah.' Luna dips her head down sharply, engulfing your member in her warm mouth. You throw your head back in pleasure as Luna swirls her tongue along the tip of your erection. She bobs her head up and down, slowly taking the length of your member.
Luna draws her head back up, and moves a strand of hair from her face. She places her hand on your ball sac, stroking the flesh. She continues her movement on your member, occasionally licking the flared tip and trailing her tongue down your spire.
She gently squeezes your sac, causing you to moan in pleasure once again. 'L-Luna. Let, let me help you.' Luna looks up at you, and her expression is one of confusion. You motion to the small patch of fluids on Luna's silk jeans.
She rolls her eyes, and tries to sound nonchalant. 'Well, if you insist.' You reach out to Luna's tail, and yank it around towards you. Luna yelps, but she closes her mouth as you yank her pants down, and trace your finger around her swollen mare-hood.
'I, I must ask. How did youooooOOOOO' Luna wails in pleasure as you dip your fingers inside of her walls, and they clench around your hand. She moans again as you slowly draw back with your hands, leaving them slick with her fluids. 'How did you find Zecora?' Luna finally manages to finish her question.
Your face turns sad, remembering how close you were to losing Luna. 'I-I didn't find her. I was making you a grave. And, she just, came out and said she could help.'
Luna turns to you, and sees your saddened expression. She shift herself so she faces you, and brings you up to a sitting position. 'Hey, it's okay. I'm here now. It's all fine.' She kisses you on the forehead, and you draw her closer. 'It's fine.'
You hold her tight, as if she is going to disappear at any moment, but she doesn't. Luna locks lips with you again, and nuzzles your neck with her muzzle. You kiss her neck, and rub your hands down her shoulders, and along her arms. She shifts backwards once more, and places her hands on your stomach.
She positions herself above your shaft, and slowly lowers herself onto it. You both moan as Luna squeezes your member inside of her tight marehood, inch by inch, and finally, your entire member is resting inside her inner walls. She gives you a little squeeze, and you stiffen even further.
Luna starts to ride your shaft, raising herself, and then lowering again. You time your thrusts to match Luna's movements, and you both are lost in the pleasure of the moment. She continues her movements, and soon you are both slick with sweat, and, other, fluids.......
'L-Luna. I, I think I'm coming!' You grunt as Luna slams down on you once more, and you know that you will not be able to hold it in for much longer. Luna stops her movements, and slowly raises herself off your shaft.
'Oh?' She bends back down to your throbbing member, and places her breasts over the head. You lie down on the bed, once again overwhelmed by the pleasure. Luna slowly moves her breasts up and down, her fluids lubricating your shaft and allowing her breasts to glide easily along it.
You start to feel a familiar sensation building up, and you are being driven over the edge by Luna's actions. 'L-Luna! It feels so good!'
Luna smiles. 'Glad you like it. Now be a good boy and finish up, will you?' She giggles slightly, and squeezes her breasts together, forming an even greater pressure around your shaft, and driving you over the edge.
Your member twitches as it shoots out cum, and you empty your load onto Luna's face. Your balls clench as you finish, and you sigh with satisfaction. Luna licks your seed off her cheek, and moves up next to you. You wrap your arms around her, and squeeze her tight against your chest.
'That was great.' You place your head on Luna, so your chin rests gently on her head, and she presses back against your chest.
'Glad you liked it. It's great to be back.' She kisses you once more. 'Thank you. For everything.'
'Not a problem Luna. Thank you. You've changed my life, for the better.' You kiss her head. 'But what about Celestia? I don't think she'd be too happy to hear that I brought you back from the dead.'
'Well, Princess Celestia may not be happy, but you've certainly made this Princess happy.' Luna kisses you once again. 'Good night.'
'Good night Luna. I love you.' You close your eyes, and rest against Luna.

You wake up to the screams of a changeling. Jesus christ, is Night Stalker still killing changelings? You look beside you, and Luna is still asleep, and still topless. You smile as you remember last night. Another scream comes from a changeling. That’s odd. But you pay no attention to it. However, you know something is wrong when you hear another scream.
You hurriedly put your clothes, and run outside. Night Stalker is fighting off a pack of changelings, about 13 of them. 4 lie dead around the others, and others carry severe wounds. Night looks over at you, and calls out. ‘Some help would be nice!’ He swats a changeling away from him.
You stand baffled for a moment, before realizing what’s happening. You pick up speed, barreling into the group and knocking some of them down. Night nods at you, and hands you a large knife. The changelings stand up, snarling at their new opponent.
One changeling charges at you, his head lowered and his horn pointing straight at you. You step to one side, and ram the knife into his neck. He gurgles, blood filling his lungs. You spin around, carving into another one. You recoil as a changeling rams into you.
You struggle to shake him off, wriggling and squirming around in his grasp. The changeling drops his head, and you brace yourself to be speared by his horn. But it does not happen. You throw the changeling off, and realize he has a knife embedded in his back.
Night leaps over you, grabbing the knife from the changeling. He then stabs a nearby changeling, twisting his knife into and out of the changelings chest. You get up, and kick a changeling in its neck. It grasps at its neck, its windpipe obviously broken.
You bump into something, and spin around. You bring the knife down, but your hand is stopped. You realize you were about to stab Night, and quickly apologize. You look around in despair, realizing you are surrounded by a multitude of angry changelings.
‘It was a pleasure meeting you.’ Night’s deep voice comes from behind. ‘But I’m afraid this may be our last battle together.’ You frown, and agree with Night. You would have never expected what happens next.
All the changelings are surrounded in a blue aura, and you recognize it as Luna’s magic. You watch as many of the changelings have their limbs torn off their body, and others writhe in agony as they are set on fire.
When the mass of writhing bodies has stopped, you see Luna casually standing in the middle of the mess. She frowns at you. ‘I can’t leave you alone for two seconds can I?’ You smile at her, but the smile disappears quickly.
‘Luna! Watch out!’ You scream out a warning. A changeling is running towards her, holding a knife in his hand. Luna spins round, and sees the changeling. Her mane flares up, and her eyes glow with a magical aura. The changeling brings his knife down on her, and you flinch.
Luna swings her hand at the changeling, obliterating his arm. His scream pierces your ears as you watch what happens. Luna picks the changeling up, her whole body now surrounded by her magic. She punches the changeling in its chest, her fist going cleanly through its ribs and lungs.
You run to her, pulling her in for an embrace. She laughs. ‘Good thing I woke up, isn’t it?’ You smile at her.
‘I guess the next time we come here we wont need any guards.’ You shake hands with Night, who chuckles.
‘Looks like we’ll have another fight, eh?’
‘Looks like it.’ You laugh. ‘Right. Shall we go get that slate?’
‘Yes. Let’s.’ Luna’s horn glows, surrounding you in its aura. There is a loud “pop” and you appear in the middle of town. Most ponies around you drop their things and run, while others stand staring. Luna huffs, and walks towards a shop.
The bell rings as you walk inside, and a shop-pony greets you. Luna steps out from behind you, and the pony gasps. He bows down. ‘Your majesty. It is a great pleasure.’ Luna ignores him, and walks into a storage room. ‘May I help you with finding anything?’
‘I need some slate. About 100 tiles, to be specific.’ Luna’s voice is cold, with no hint of her kindness she shows towards you.
The pony gulps, a frown forming on his face. ‘Uh, well you see. I’m afraid that we’re out of slate. You see, with Nightmare Night coming up, many people have bought sculpting materials, slate being the main product.’
Luna frowns, gritting her teeth. Nightmare night? What is that? Luna walks out of the door, huffing and puffing. You follow close behind. A young colt bumps into Luna’s leg, chasing after his ball. He speaks, small and quiet. ‘Sowwy wuna. Can you pass me my ball? Pwease?’
Luna picks the ball up, and her hand glows. The ball bursts, covering the colt's brown fur in its rubber. He runs off crying. Luna continues on as if nothing happened. You stand, speechless. ‘Luna. Why the hell did you do that?’
Luna turns, glaring at you. ‘He got in my way and needed to be taught a lesson. He should learn the meaning of spacial awareness.’ Luna spins back around. Night Stalker salutes to her, and Luna waves her hand at him. ‘You are dismissed, make your way back to the castle, and do not bother with the changelings.’
Night takes off, flying full speed towards the castle. Luna closes her eyes, concentrating on her magic. A huge nova blast erupts from the tip of her horn, traveling for miles around you.
‘Jesus. That seemed powerful.’ You laugh. ‘What did you do? Kill all the changelings in the everfree forest?’ Luna joins in with your laughing fit. After a while the laughter dies down, and you clutch your sides in pain.
Luna smiles at you. ‘How did you know what that spell does?’
