Chapters Luna quietly giggled to herself as she tip toed into her sister Tia's room. The soft snores coming from the bed informed her that she was indeed asleep, and that she wouldn't wake up while she began the prank war. Last year Luna had admitted defeat after she had been bombarded by hundreds of her sisters favorite dessert: cake. Luna shuddered at the thought of that much of the sweet treat, before turning back to her sleeping sister's mane and tail.
The immortal alicorn of the night snickered to herself at the thought for her opening prank, a brand new mane and tail due. Using her magic, a gel labeled Mane Styled appeared in her telekinetic grip. Luna uncorked the bottle and slowly began to maneuver her sister's mane into a hilarious position. "Done," Luna thought to herself before moving on to her sister's tail. She giggled again. "Oh I can't wait to see the look on her face when she see's this"
With the deed done, Luna covered her sister up in her blanket, being careful not to disturb her tail. The younger sister giggled again before leaving the room, making sure to get rid of the bottle of gel on her way.

Celestia yawned and stretched her legs on her quilted bed, getting rid of the nighttime stiffness that racked her body. "What a night," she thought as she climbed out of bed and raised the sun while her beloved sister lowered the moon. Then, a sudden thought hit her, making her eyes shoot open to look around her room. "Our Prank War starts today," Celestia thought to herself, taking cautious steps around her room. "I'd better stay alert for any pranks Luna tries to pull on me." When she was satisfied that nothing was there, she opened her door and went downstairs to the castle thrown room.
"Why are all the guards looking at me like that?" Celestia thought to herself. " Oh no did Luna do something to my fur?!" She looked around at herself to make sure she was still white, before letting out a relieved sigh. "Well if it's not my fur then what are they looking at?" A guard cleared his throat and looked at Celestia, his checks pink from suppressing laughter. "P-Princess Ce-Celestia?" He shakily asked. She noticed he was trying desperately not to laugh.
"What's the matter Morning Dawn?" Celestia responded. Oh if I find out what Luna did to me I swear I'm breaking out the cake.
"What happened to your mane and tail?!" And then he and all the other guards in the room, who were also trying their hardest not to laugh, burst out laughing at the sight of their ruler. Celestia frowned and conjured up a full length mirror using her magic. Then her eyes widened in horror. "Oh my Faust." She thought as she gazed at her reflection, blushing brightly at herself.
Luna had somehow given her an Afro, some kind of popular mane style back in the nineteen neightees. Her mane, once beautiful and flowing, was now a swirling vortex in the shape of a ball. Her tail was no different, and the sight of her blushing that much made her blush even brighter. "Okay," Celestia thought. "I'm getting rid of this mane style." And then proceeded to try to get rid of the strange style, but nothing happened.
"What is going on?!" Celestia thought to herself. Her magic couldn't get rid of this style. Why? All of a sudden, a flash of dark purple magic appeared in front of her, which was holding the accused bottle of gel. Celestia turned to the back of the label and groaned. There, in fine print, it said "Does not administer magic affects. Lasts up to 12 hours." Celestia groaned again. Darn Lulu! The aggravated sun princess frowned and went deep in thought about what kind of prank to pull on Luna. Then a light bulb went off in her head.
"Morning Dawn?" Celestia began asking. He stopped laughing and turned to his Princess. "How can I help?" He asked. Celestia grinned devilishly. "Do we still have that magical paint?"

Celestia carefully made her way into her sisters room, holding the paint can in her magic grip. "So Lulu, you prank me first huh? Well now you're going to stand out." She thought to herself and she began applying the paint to her sister's coat of fur.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! A loud alarm awoke Luna from her sleep, making her send a bolt of magical energy towards it, shutting it up. Luna scoffed. "Really Tia? A magic alarm you must be really off your game this year." Then Luna stretched her leg, finally noticing what happened to her once beautiful coat of fur. "OH MY FAUST I'M PINK! TIA! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?!" Luna yelled, running downstairs to strangle her older sister.
On her way down, she noticed all the guards were not at their usual posts. "Maybe they are at a debriefing?" Luna thought to herself as she sped down the hallway to the thrown room. As soon as she entered, she realized how stupid she was. Celestia threw a party and invited hundreds of guests. It looked like all of Canterlot was there, and to make matters worst, everypony stared at the pink alicorn princess when she walked through the door.
Luna glared at her sister, who was trying desperately not to laugh. "TIA!" Luna yelled. "IF YOU WANT A PRANK WAR YOU GOT A PRANK WAR! IT'S SO ON!" And with that thought she ran back upstairs to try to get the paint ff her fur.
Bonus For Ch. 1: The Letter To Twilight
Dear Twilight,
I am sending you this letter to inform you not to send me any friend ship reports until further notice.
The reason I am asking this of you is because my dear sister Luna and myself are starting our annual Immortal Prank War.
We created the Prank War one year when we started pulling pranks on one another until I finally gave up.
The reason? Well let's just say that I don't like being Lulu's look alike.
Now my faithful student, since you and Cadence are both alicorns ( Cadence has been dying to play in the Prank War) you will both be included in every one of our Prank Wars from now on.
I suggest that you pack your best Prank equipment because you are in for the laughs for a lifetime.
Be warned: me and Lulu have been working hard on our pranking techniques for a thousand years, and we will not be going easy on you!

P.S. Luna hates chocolate cake, and I turned her pink this morning. Here's the picture.
Twilight red the letter 4 times before looking at the picture of Luna. First a smile played on her lips, then a light laugh came out, before finally, an explosion of laughter came from Twilight.
Twilight Pranks Everypony
"Hmm," Twilight thought to herself. "A Prank War huh? well I guess I'm gonna have to bring it!" "SPIKE!" Twilight yelled.
"Gah! I'm coming Twilight!" He yelled back before running down the steps to in front of her study. "What's the matter Twilight? Did somepony get hurt? Do you need the Elements again?" He was breathing heavily from his run down the stairs.
"No Spike nothing like that. I need you to go find Rainbow Dash and bring her here."
Spike looked confused. "Uhh okay but why?"
"Just do it! I have to learn how to prank for The Immortal Prank Wars so could you PLEASE just get her?!" The purple alicorn asked.
"Okay okay! I'll be right back" Then he ran out the door to go get Rainbow.
{5 minutes later . . . . .}
Twilight heard her front door open, and turned around to see Rainbow Dash and Spike walk through the door.
"Okay Twi, what's the big rush?" The rainbow maned pegasus asked her friend. Twilight beamed at her friend.
"I need you to teach me how to prank somepony." Silence filled the room for what seemed like forever. Twilight shuffled from hoof to hoof while studying the hardwood floor. Over her, she heard her friend shake her head side to side like she was trying to wake up from a dream.
"Whoa whoa whoa, let me get this straight. YOU, the smartest pony I know, want ME to teach YOU how to prank?!" Rainbow asked gleefully. Twilight looked up and nodded her head while the cyan mare studied her up close. "WHY?" She asked
"Well Celestia invited me and Cadence to participate in The Immortal Prank War they have going on and I just realized; I don't know how to pull a prank, so I need to learn from the master." Rainbow Dash was looking suspiciously like Pinkie Pie at this moment.
"Did you just call me the master of pranking?! Ohmygosh this is like almost the best day of my life! So who are you gonna prank?" She asked Twilight.
"Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Cadence." Rainbow Dash rubbed her hooves together devilishly.
"Let the prank training BEGIN!"
{At SugarCube Corner}
Pinkie Pie stopped mid-bounce when her gravity stopped. She narrowed her eyes and frowned. "Did somepony just call somepony ELSE the master of pranking?! Hmmm . . ." with that she returned to her bouncing, all while thinking of what to do to get back at a certain somepony.
{Nightfall at Twilight's. . . . .}
"Okay Twi you are officially ready to prank the princesses! Just remember EVERYTHING I taught you." Rainbow said as she lazily rested in the most chaotic-looking room she'd ever seen. The walls were covered in cake, cream filled pie, paint, and for the oddest reason, a banner that said " Welcome To Equestria Mr. Princess!". The wooden floor wasn't any better. It was also covered in cake, pie, paint, and burn marks from magic spells went haywire.
"Are you sure I'm ready? I mean I haven't perfected throwing water balloons yet. Or even asked Pinkie how she defies the laws of physics!" The frustrated alicorn said. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes.
"Okay. You ARE ready, and I don't think even Pinkie Pie knows how she defies the laws of whatever they were." All of a sudden, Pinkie Pie catapulted out of a bookshelf.
"You're right RD! I DON'T know how I move around!" She giggled. "But this isn't about me! It's about Twilight and her Prank War with the other alicorn Princesses! Besides I don't think the viewers know why I'm even here so bye!" Then she jumped into Twilight's mane and disappeared. Both Twilight and Rainbow Dash stared at the mane for a moment.
"How-"
"Twi I'd have thought you'd know by now that Pinkie Pie is random." The cyan pegasus said with a deadpanned expression on her face. Twilight shrugged, then grinned a determined smirk.
"This Prank War is officially on!"
{ In Canterlot Castle In The Morning . . .}
Celestia yawned and stretched her legs. It had been a particularly rough day with the nobles, but she had to continue listening. Using her magic, she raised the sun while the sister, Luna, lowered the moon and made the stars fade away. The tired sun princess absently reached up to rub her face when she froze. She moved her hoof again and found to her dismay that it was still there.
Quickly, Celestia jumped out of bed and ran over to her bedroom mirror, staring in shock at her reflection. She had a beard and mustache, both of witch were flowing like her rainbow mane and tail. Her eyes shrunk into tiny pinpricks and she raced out into the hall only to bump into the alicorn Cadance. Rubbing her head, the aggravated sun princess stood up and focused on the soft pink alicorn.
"I'm sorry Ca-" Celestia stared. Her niece also had a hillarious mustache and beard, but instead of flowing like her own mane had been doing, it was extremely curly.
Cadance gave her a deadpanned expression. "You too huh?" Celestia nodded and before either of them could ask what happened to them, a loud yell that came from the Canterlot kitchens was heard. It was Luna.
{Downstairs . . .}
Luna was in a terrible mood. Why, oh why Faust, did everything taste like the one thing she despised of the most? Why, instead of tasting like delicious moon pie's or perhaps even delicious blueberry pancakes, taste like CHOCOLATE CAKE?! "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" Luna yelled at the top of her lungs. Chocolate cake. Chocolate cake. Chocolate cake. Everybucking thing tasted like chocolate cake.
Her ears swerved in the direction of the stairs. It was her sister and the other alicorn Cadance. "Ohohoho," Luna thought to herself. "They have both played a prank on us." But what she saw stopped her thoughts in their tracks. They were sporting some kind of mustache and beard combo, both of witch were hilariously like their actual mane and tails.
The moon princess burst out laughing. "Bwahahahahaha! Oh you should see thy look on your face!" She said in-between giggles. They both frowned.
"So YOU were the one who did this?" Cadance asked while frowning. Luna slowed down her laughter.
"Nay, I have not pranked you this night, for I have been pranked as well." She responded.
"Well then how did you get pranked little sister?" Inquired Celestia. Luna frowned and scowled at all the food on the table.
"Everybucking thing I try to consume tastes like that horrible chocolate cake!" She growled. Celestia gasped.
"Language Luna!" She scolded before a late realization popped into all three ponies minds.
"If Luna didn't prank us then that means . . ."
{In The Library. . .}
Twilight Sparkle was snuggled up in her blankets, trying her hardest to get some sleep after pranking the princesses. Once in a while, the image of Princess Celestia popped into her head when she had the odd combo, and she would go into a fit of giggles. Maybe she would win after all . . .

Sorry I'm being suck a pain in the flank about writing stories. Expect the next chapter soon though!
"Okay that's it." Celestia said to herself as she stared at her regrowing mustache. "I don't want to prank me faithful student just yet, so I'll just get Lulu out of the picture!" Using her magic, she grabbed a scroll, a quill, and some ink before quickly scribbling down the items she'd need to out-prank her sister.

The spell that allows me to speak backwards
One roll of duck tape
A violin
Enchanted flaming underwear
Clown make-up
Cadence wearing sungasses
A yellow sticker mustache
Pinkie Pie singing the human song "Numa Numa"
Quickly looking over the list, Celestia smiled evilly for a moment. "Now to get her out of the picture . . . . ." Celestia then threw her head back and laughed while lighting flashed from behind her. She frowned and looked out the window. "What the . . ."
{Bam}
Princess Luna shivered as she made her way down to get some dinner. Her sister was bound to have planned something, and especially after the chocolate cake taste prank . . . well she wanted to be prepared for anything. Opening the door, she sat down at the table before grabbing the nearest plate with her magic and stuffing a fork-full in her mouth.
Chocolate. Chocolate cake. She spit it out as fast as possible before realizing multiple things wrong in the room. The table had three chocolate cakes on it. Her hooves had been magically duck-taped to her chair. Oh and Cadence was wearing sunglasses. "Wh-What is going on?!" She stuttered before looking at something flying towards her face. She opened her mouth to respond. Big mistake. WHAM! And Luna became covered in the sticky goop she despised. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Celestia held her hoof to her mouth to stop from laughing. ' Oh Faust,' she thought. 'It's just to funny!' Using her magic, the sun goddess cast the backwards-talking spell on her sister, adding to the confusion and hilarity of the prank.
"Ekac etalocohc! Kcuy!" She frowned and tried again, sensing that something was wrong. "Eht tahw . . .?" That's when she snapped the duck tape and stood up. "Uoy yortsed ot gniog M'i! Ait!" Celestia took this opportunity to put the flaming underwear on her sister, the fabric immediately lighting the already hardly pranked sister on fire. After that, Luna began running around in circles trying to rid herself of the flames before running face-first into a violin, making a terrible sound as it hit her while also covering her in the clown make-up that was on it.
Slowly walking up, Celestia put on the yellow sticker mustache for her sister. "Ready to quit my dear sister?" She asked.
"Nay!" Luna said. "Tis YOU who shall taste defeat this year!" Celestia sighed before putting her own 5 inch earplugs into her ears.
"I had hoped it wouldn't come to this Lulu, but seeing as I have no choice but to do this, I will. Pinkie! Please begin!" Luna weakly turned her head toward the pink earth pony who looked like she was ready to burst with excitement. Pinkie Pie took a deep breath before signing the song from the human world that she despised the most ever.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO! OKAY! OKAY! PLEASE STOP THAT INFERNAL SONG!!!!! I FORFEIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The lunar princess half screamed, half yelled out at the older sister while breaking the enchantment as well. Celestia smiled warmly and motioned for Pinkie Pie to stop.
"Oh don't worry Lulu," she said softly. "There's always next year." And with that she trotted away upstairs to figure out her next victim.
