Chapters Chapter 1; The War
Of all things in the world, war is the most common of them all. Earth as we know it, was in the Third World War, main battle grounds are in the United States, everybody ransacking and killing each other to take power of this nation. The government was overthrown no long than 2 months ago, word got out around the world, and everybody thought it'd be a great idea to take this power for themselves, but me. I had enough common sense to wait it out, but with second thoughts and projectiles being fired everywhere, I took refuge within my cellar, my workshop for everything I do for a living. Inventing is my game, but only being 22, I had many great devices for personal use. My most used is my Stencyl, great little device, better than those money sucking Ipad or Kindles. It can record and leave typed what people say, has great voice recognition, and a long lasting battery. Even if I run out of power, I have a solar suit to recharge it quite quickly. My parents even changed my last name to the Polish word for 'Inventor' since I was young enough to not remember.
Though these are great inventions, I've been smart enough to notice the signs of this bloody War, and made a machine, it should teleport me to another world, or dimension. Bah I'm not certain, I dare not test it for safety reasons, yet now I'm left with little decision on the matter, I must test it with a petty object before the overstock of bullets, shrapnel, and explosions get through and cave-in my make shift shelter.
What better than an old flashlight I made as a child, it has some size and weight on it, and still works. So forth, I set it in the Teleportation Device, and started pulling energy from the uranium converter, or more to the point, a huge battery that stored all the electricity I could suck out of a uranium fuel rod. Not taking more than a minute, the teleported flashed, and a gust of air blew out, knocking over several things in my already cluttered shelter. Covering my eyes to any explosions, it stopped.
Slowly, I peeked through my fingers, the flashlight was gone. I looked around extensivly to see if it was blown away. "Its..Its gone....", I said to myself in great surprise. Quickly, I packed a few bags, taking my Stencyl, a Mr. Goodbar, solar suit, and to anybody's surprise, I made a copy of a pair of Hidden Blades from the Assassin's Creed series. The one video game that I loved since I was 13. Not aware of where the teleporter would take me, the lights flickered as an explosion could be heard not far off. Typing in any final words, as of 2018, I would be gone. As the screams of agony could be heard faintly over the firing bullets, crackling flames, and crashing shells. Starting up the teleporter again, I stepped in, standing firm, as it heard it emanate a charging like noise getting louder by the second. It started becoming hotter, and finally a light blinding me is what I saw. After that a blacked out, in quite a vivid dream.
I saw what you'd think hell would be, I saw a sea of blood and Minotaur like creatures roaming around. Things that would scar even the worst of people. The skies were as dark as if you were blind folded, a sun blood red. Travelling through this hell like place, I thought to myself thinking this was my death, my afterlife. Just until I saw ones I knew, friends and family, hung nude and tied to black trees, being whipped time after time by the minotuars. This sent me back, I stopped paying attention to my surroundings and went to a new dream, of all the good times I had with them, my childhood... my life...
Suddenly, I saw everything being sweeped away by powerful winds, everything was turning white. Finally yelling, "What the Hell is this place!!!", I turned around to see what looked like a dark blue horse with a mane and tail that looked like a stary sky. On her flank was black with a crescent moon set upon it.
She spoke in an accent of an ancient royalty, "Awaken, young one, thou hast been in a dream."
Finally, everything vanished before my eyes and I had awoken in what seemed like a tree house, on a bed. I responded "What the...." only to be cut off. This was a surprise, I blinked several times wondering if I am still in a dream. After looking around a little, I sat up and finally noticed that I was no longer in a dream, my bag was on the table next to me. "Where the Hell am I now?", I thought. grabbing my bag and getting out my Stencyl.

Walking not far from the Everfree forest, a purple unicorn paired with a young purple-scaled, green spiked dragon. The two were on their way to a friend, when they were suddenly surprised to the sight of an unusual person, lying on a slightly burned, still steaming grass. "Twilight! Look!", the dragon hallored at the Unicorn.
"Who and what is this thing, I've never seen anything such as this." Twilight stated. "Spike, go get the others, I'll take this to the Library."
The dragon replied, "Gotcha Twilight!".
Three days later...
I woke from my dream in some strange place, noticing my bag on a night stand next to the bed I was lying in. I quickly pulled out and started up my Stencyl, I started making it record once again. "Well out for three days straight, I got lucky in many ways. 1: I didn't die. 2: It worked! 3: I'm in a calm and most unusual place I've ever seen.
Aside from that, I got some not so-lucky news, Where the hell am I, or am I dead in Heaven??? I'm not certain, nor do I see or hear anybody... But read this, It seems that there were two people at least, that must be why I'm sleeping in a Tree House/Library. Now then, who may Twilight and Spike be? who is 'the gang'? Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it has yet to catch me." I said to it. "Stencyl; Auto-voice note, 14 hours."
It responded with a robotic voice, " 14 HOURS OF NOTE TAKING ACTIVATED.". To make a recording of my thoughts I said them aloud, "Alright then, lets go explore a little." as my metal sole shoes clashed with the wooden ground, going down the stairs and through a door on the first floor. "Well then, more books...". Turning again, I saw another door, I opened it to the sound of birds singing and flying, skies clearer than a crystal, and a soft breeze carrying the fresh smell of nature. "Whoa.... I havn't seen something so peaceful since a long time ago...". While talking to myself, I became oblivious to the fact that somebody was watching me, a, well um, purple unicorn? I spoke up first, "Um, Hello there?".
The purple Unicorn responded with hesitation, "H-Hi there, how do you know my language?"
I replied keeping myself in order "I'd ask same of you, now I suppose that you are... Twilight if I'm not mistaken."
Twilight seemed shocked, "How do you know my name?!", her horn started glowing with some sort of charging energy.
"Whoa now, watch whatever your doing, I don't need another war to evade, I know your name simply by this machine, its call a 'Stencyl', it recorded your name at the time a so-called 'Spike' mentioned it." I said with some hesitation and curiosity.
Twilight went on cheerfully asking, "Where are you from? What are you? What's your name?". Feeling quite annoyed, I resented from getting out of her face and responded, "Well then, I'm from Earth, Milky Way Galaxy. A person, specifically a Human, Homo Sapien if thats how you understand it. and Mike, anything else before it let my head blow off?"
Twilight replied just as the way she was pelting me a second ago, "Hi Mike, and yes, one more question; why are you here? You were out cold for 3 days."
I went on with a ancy tone "Escaping a war, used one of my inventions and was sent here, I had used a, classified device of mine in the making. Now then, where was I found at, I'm missing something. And another thing, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING?!? WHY THE HELL ARE YOU A UNICORN?!? WHERE IN THE BLOODY HOLE OF GOD AM I?!?"
I pushed Twilight's attitude as she sounded annoyed herself; "Cool it Mr. Grumpy, I did help you so I'd expect a little respect. First of all, you are in Ponyville, a town in Equestria. Secondly, I was born a Unicorn. Unicorns are one of the three types of ponys here, the others are pegasi and earth ponys. Everypony knows that, so you're not from around here, are you?"
"No flying fuck... and its not 'everypony', its everybody or everyone. Now then most importantly, I need to find my lost item, its important to getting out of here." I tried stating to her what it meant to me.
After taking a few seconds to take it in, she responded firmly, "I'm not going to go and do nice things for you if you continue acting like a jerk..."
Giving myself a rubbing facepalm, "Ugh... alright I'm 'sorry' for taking rage out, now then can you take me to-.... Why is there a tattoo on your anus or flank or whatever unicorns wanna call it??"
Definitely annoyed, the unicorn went on "Its not a tattoo, its a cutie mark, it represents what a pony is good at doing."
Deciding to hop back on topic, I began "So, how bout the lost item?"
She barked back at me like we're mutts "Not now, you mister are going to go meet my friends, who all took place in helping you."
I responded with somewhat pissed tone "Aw hell naww, ain't nobody got time for that, this place is an insanity hole."
I started to walk away with an angry pace to find out some information without talking to something that only exists in a McDonald's drive-thru. To my surprise, a brick wall magically appears in my face, causing me to walk into it. I was then surrounded by a horde of angry ponys, this wasn't going to end well.
Many of them spoke a familiar language, insulting and scolding me. As somebody threw an apple at me, hit smack dab in the gut. Some air knocked out, I still stood, this time watching all corners carefully. I saw the apple coming and ducked, I then ran towards the direction where it came from, pushing my way through many of the ponys. Finally, I came towards the end of the crowd, jumped atop a pony on the ground, to another in the air to jump down drawing my hidden blades. Landing with style, I stared down the Orange pony with a cowboy hat.
I called the cow-pony out; "Ya'll got a problem? Say it politely, I'll consider it."
In offense, she said "Well, I'd reckon we got ar'selves a problem."
"Respectful fight calls for name, Mike." I said to show some honor, only to be insulted back; "Apple-Bucking-Jack."
Responding in my thoughts said aloud, "This'll be interesting."
Keeping an eye on my foe and the crowd, I knew I couldn't start a war here, but I'm not starting it, she'll take the first strike, I'll have to bear it.
Applejack said after a couple of paces around the fight circle "Ya wanna make a move there?"
That calls for Mr. Smart alack "I got manners, Ladies first."
Only to get her excitement up "My Pleasure."
The crowd praised a cheer for Applejack as she began to charge at me, I had no idea how she was planning to hit me, ramming me or bucking, I held fast keeping myself light on the feet. It was a buck attack, I see in her eyes. I turned and slipped between her two hind-legs, grabbing them and spinning her as if I were Mario and she was Bowser. I let go and she landed outside of the crowd. That gave me a chance to get moving.
Running how I did earlier with the crowd on my 6'. Though I knew they would be fast, but agility is different from endurance, but to my surprise, a rainbow haired pony with a light blue coat caught me into a roll. To my luck I came out on top, so I popped the pony in the face and kept going. Finally I yelled running into a Forest, they stop chasing me, I stopped and turned, to mock them. "Ya'll won't go for a run in the forest? What is this, I go through forests all the time.
So with a slower pace, I start walking off to find moving branches that resembled a wolf, It howled as I quickly broke it into pieces. Unaware of the reinforcements of wooden wolves above the bluffed cliff. "Aww shit nuggets..." I began running towards another exit of the forest, as I ignited a grenade dud I found and fixed in my world, dropping it as I ran. BANG!!! the wolves were disbodied as I ran towards an animal infested house. This might have some supplies, I'm famished.
I enter the cottage with only animals aware of my presence, animals besides ponys of course. I discovered a bunny denying to eat a carrot salad. "Get outta here little wabbit." I said as I walked towards the bowl, scared half the wits out of him, I easily took the bowl of food. I began to scarf it down as I was interrupted by the Twilight, Applejack, the pony I popped, and 3 others. Keeping wide eye with the bowl in my face, staring at them, as the stared motionlessly at me. Silence, something I havn't heard in awhile.
Silence ending by the broken nosed pony, "He Broke my nose and now is stealing Fluttershy's food!". I replied with some humor "ummmmmmm.... gotta go!" and ran through the back door where I slipped in from, as the 6 ponys chased me.
"I'ma get even wit' ya sorry flank!" Applejack barked. Clearly I striked back, "Sorry, I don't have a flank ya moron!"
I continued running, I saw a scorched mark on the grass, I knew where this was as soon as those hellish dreams came back. At that moment, I stopped running altogether. I just stood there. they caught up without coming closer than a meter to me. The fancy white unicorn said in the silence, "Why did he just stop? Did he just stop being so rude?"
I kept silent as they mumbled to each other. Only about 20 seconds later did the nuke-headed, nose-broken pony, whos name I caught from the mumbling was Rainbow Dash, exploded "Thats it, your paying buster!"
She charged, not seeing but just knowing, I flicked my wrist and stopped the pegasis in her tracks, the blade penetrated just above the collar bone towards the left shoulder. She moaned in the pain as the others stood in shock, my body only turned to the side, I looked over and finally pulled my blade out of her and flicked my wrist again. I turned my head and said, "You seeked a fight, I'll give you your last at your command. Oh and that cut is temporary, your real death would be quicker."
Silence stood once more as silent winds gusted, each of us still in place, as I started walking once more, off toward Ponyville to find supplies I needed for Inventing, war needs armor, best now then never. This being the worst welcoming I've gotten, yet most energetic, in which I admired. I might just enjoy this little game of goose chase.
I let out a sigh saying, "Good to play again..."
Chapter 3; Pony Planning
As I was walking away, I wondered where my coordinate gun had gone. I had it with me when I left, but something tells me that they have it, they want me to work for them after what my race had done to them in the past. This was the Distant Future. The horses lived to tell the story and now wish to exterminate me, yet that didn't explain why they had healed me back to health.
Knowing that they would be pissed at me, I kept walking as the sunset. It was nice to finally get away from all the poor agony from home, but to know nobody and be a hated individual wasn't any better. I saw storm clouds brewing in, I knew rain was coming, so I hid under a big tree. Sitting at the base of the tree, about to sigh in relief as I heard another person sigh from the other side of the tree. Who could it be? A person from my world in the same situation? Somebody I know? A Friend or Family Member? I couldn't bear the dear excitement, jumping up from my sitting position I went around and yell with joy and enthusiasm, "Who's behind the tree that I kno-"
Stopping myself to see a saddened yet startled, grey pegasis with messy blonde hair, bubbles on her flank and weird googly eyes. Why do I always think so fortunately, but end horribly wrong? She responded in a mellowed frown looking back down to the grass. I knew this was my chance to redeem myself, picking up her spirit would make her think greatly of me, consider me a friend and hopefully, get out of this place. Walking over to her, I sat and started, "Hey, you in the blues too?". Slow to respond, she began with a mellow voice "Yah... I guess so. I just don't know what went wrong."
I began again after settling on the somewhat moist grass Well I'm Mike, what happened to ya?"
Pegasis starting in woe-ish tone "All the other ponys hate me, they laugh at me when I drop stuff or run into things."
I knew what this was, "Bullying, I feel ya there. I used to get bullied back when I was younger, later they respected me for my achievements. They never said sorry, and its too late for it now. Whats your name anyhow?"
"I'm Ditzy Do, but everybody calls me Derpy, and they're right about it..." She said with no pride. Knowing that made me conclude; "Don't give in, you never should, everybody skrews up somewhere in their life. Hell I did too, but I got myself out of the mud. The thing is, ya gotta stand up for yourself, I can do little to assist now, I'm in my own soup right now."
She said with some joy, "Your right, but why are you down?" Knowing the truth, I let the detail slide and stick with the general statement. "I got into a mess where all the ponys in Ponyville hates me, like a bounty on my head. Not to mention what happened prier to that... It chills my spine as I think about it."
"Hey I got an idea! You can help me deal with those meanies out there, and in return, I can help you!" She said with great excitement.
Knowing not to let her down, "Sounds good, just, now that I think about it, I could teach some people a lesson bout bullying, but in the shadows only. Seek em out, I'll take them to the talk. Sound like a plan?"
Now with pride in her voice, "Derpy Ditzy agrees." "Good. You wouldn't happen to have a place to stay at and food to eat, I'm starved from all the running today." I said with up-front honesty.
She was not in the deep any more for sure "Its on a cloud, but I'm sure you can fly." "No wings, can ya give me a lift?" I said with concern.
She said with a smoothened tone "Sure will, Friend." Simply speaking my mind as I prepared to hop on "Thanks."
I can't believe it was that easy, though I do think she is a little derpy like they say she is, but I'm getting out of here as soon as possible, but I do have to mention, I got a friend now, a mission I can't deny or even risk to fail. That coord gun is all I need to figure out where I'm at, then remake my teleporter with necessary adjustments, and head my ass outta here. "We're here!" Derpy said, snapping me out of my mind.
Taking doubts, "Do you think its ok to step on this, I'm not sure if its safe for me..." She replied with no worry, "This cloud is fine." sliding me off of her as I sat on the fluffy, grey cloud. I got lost and left to say; "Whoa..."
Interupting me from my revelation, she asked "I want muffins, you want some too?" Muffins, I could do with that. "Sure, chocolate chips inside?" "OOHHH I 'love' Muffins, Muffins, MUFFINSSSSS!!!" She said startling me a bit.
"Whoa there, don't start a stampede, need any help with them? I offered to get an iminate "Sure" from her.
As Derpy and I made the muffins, we didn't notice the rain cleared up, we were deep in conversations about our lives, she apparently was born as she is now, has been bullied ever since she went to the public world, knowing so made me more comfortable with the pony, as I thought of her being a double agent. Time went on and we went to sleep, I though, tired of running and fighting, couldn't sleep at all. I got up and went to sit outside of the cloud canopy, staring at the night sky, for a second there, I thought the moon had just flashed as I saw what looked like a horse shaded on it. Time went on and I fell asleep outside to awaken to the sound of thunder as Derpy was jumping on a rain cloud.
"Whoa watch it, nearly gave me a heart attack Ditzy." I said with an exhale of relief.
"Sorry, I just had the urge to jump on a cloud. And you can call me Derpy, I like it better than Ditzy." She replied.
"Ok Derpy, shall we head out to stop the bulling?" I asked getting up and ready. She responded with eagerness "Ok lets go!"
We flew down just outside of Ponyville where nobody was looking, I hid instantly as I escorted Derpy. I was good at hiding, especially since I had tried to be an Assassin's Fanboy. She approached a candy-like house, supposively called 'Sugarcube Corner'. The Yellow Unicorn spoke to Derpy, "Hey Derpy, you here to perform a clutz show today?"
"No I'm here to say that I don't like your bullying." She stated with dignity. That was my cue, so I got Derpy's attention and she walked closer, bringing the first victim. I jumped down and muffled her, saying in a deep voice, "Leave Derpy alone, you mess with her, you mess with me, bullying only makes enemies, you hear? So apologize to her, now!"
"We got her, Derpy! I said with excitement, to hear her just as happy as me; "Yes! This is going to really work, not so stupid for a 'Derpy'." We laughed at her joke and continued our anti-bullying quest, one after another, they were scared, grabbed, apologized, ran in fear. Towards Noon-ish, we came to the last of the day, I swear, there was no way. That Rainbow Dash, Ms. arrogant, was last one. With a bandage around her wound I made, would be a problem, I don't need to further aggravate her, she's feisty, yet I think she was left shocked from yesterday. Either way we kept on the mission, I signalled her, she came, and to my surprise, there was a struggle, she noticed me before impact.
I landed on the ground but with a hoof on hand, I pulled her down from the air and knees on wings and hands on frontal limbs, she yelled, "What the hay do you want now!!!"
Imediatly, I said to the hated pony; "Pipe it, I'm helping Derpy here, she doesn't appreciate you picking on her." Rainbow Dash barked back with her arrogant side "Derpy, don't listen to this guy, he attack me yesterday and-"
"I attacked you?! I was running for my dear life from a mob of angry ponys! You knocked me down, in defence I broke your nose. Then you charged at me, I countered giving you that wound. Don't play the blame game with me." I replied enraged.
A moment of silence wizzed by as we both stared at Derpy, who looked upset, I let go of Rainbow Dash, got up, and said, "Derpy, I know how it seems but, this is the mess I got into, I don't know why everybody-
"Everypony, Smart one."Rainbow Dash smart butted in.
"Everypony... " I continued "Attacked me as a mob. Yah I disrespected one person, but I can't help it, I've lived in a basement alone from war for 2 monthes. I lose my habits and gain new ones, but you have to help me, I just want to get out of here..."
Derpy, who's looks got sadder, a tear shed, as it dripped down, and it the ground, she went flying away, crying. I thought to myself, what have I done....
Not paying attention, I was hit from behind and was knocked unconscious.
Chapter 4; The Deal
I had another dream, Hell was back, Derpy face took that of a Minotaur whipping people I knew... "Oh my gosh.... I-.. didn't know... what a monster I've become...." Mumbling to myself.
Things happened again, this time, scenes with Derpy as my friend, it slowed towards the time I saw the moon and her crying. again it went white, sucked away in a toilet like motion. The Blue Horse now had Wings, and begun to speak "You must learn the magic, the magic of friendship, if thy wishes to continue..."
I woke once more, but strapped down to a table with a bright light beaming onto me. Groaning as I woke, I heard a couple familiar voices, I heard Twilight I believe, Applejack, and the fancy one from the stabbing, and one other, with a soft voice, most likely timid person. I asked in a sigh "Where am I now?"
Twilight began; "That's not important now Mike." Applejack soon after, "Yer wanting to get outta here, ya shoulda said sooner instead of rampaging everypony. a soft voice came saying "Stealing wasn't alright with me, when somepony steals, make a meal of them!" Another person with a fancied voice countered "I'm not quite so sure if you would want to eat this dirty thing Fluttershy."
"Sorry...." Fluttershy I assume said in response.Twilight darted back "Now, where in Equestria are you from?"
"Equestria?" I was honestly confused now "What the Hell is Equestria?" "Why, its the land you're in right now." The fancied voice responded.
"I'm not of these lands! I'm From EARTH, a planet much like this but in turmoil, destroyed, and probrably not suited for nice people." I stated, hoping to set them straight.
That seemed to work as Applejack asked Twilight what she thought, Twilight responded to me a second later "Destroyed? Did you destroy it like you plan to do here?" To think Rainbow Dash was arrogant enough.
Losing my patience, I began once more "Ugh, ya'll no better than that arrogant Rainbow Dash, I came here accidentally in refuge, I wish to leave as a plan of mine back fired when I started the first attack on your friend, but a pegasis name Derpy only wanted bullying of her to stop and-"
Being interrupted with such irony, was Rainbow Dash barging in and yelling, "I can't find Derpy anywhere!"
I took that as a chance to catch sympathy; "Horrifying, Had that bitch for 6 years. Care to stab it still Dash? I won't feel a thing!"
Fluttershy responding first, "Please, watch your language, you poor thing..." "Fluttershy! Remember, he stabbed me too!" Rainbow Dash said, nearly yelling.
I again, tried to piss her "In self defence. Though now I'm regretting the fact that I did..."
Rainbow Dash Interjecting again "Oh play sorry now, nice try but-" I continued though "I should have killed you, your annoying and so fricking arrogant, you're worse than Treeman from asdf!"
I watched what little I could while silence ticked the clock. Soon another barged in with a male voice finally, but was squeaky saying; "Twilight! Twilight! Princess Celestia is here!"
"Alright, come on girls, lets go greet her." Twilight concluded. I thought a little bit on what to say before they left, and it hit me; "Great, I going to death sentence now, I'd thing that end it well, coming from a War filled land, just to be executed. Nice, let me take note of that, 'Don't run away from a war to another world, it kills you still..."
They slammed the door, and again there was silence, I sighed and started thinking, this was probably the end for me. I come to some alternate universe or time, only to be killed. That just pissed me off a bit, until I heard a crash through the window. "Derpy?!" I said in surprise as I could see in the newly sunlit room, the library. She responded as if it were her script; "To the rescue!!!"
Too my shock, she came back! Derpy Fricking Do, came back to save my sorry ass. She got me untied, and we got ready to depart, she left first. The interrogators entered the room once more, I was in the window at that point, saying the best terminator quote I could make up in that time "Hasta la vista, I got a friend ya know, I trusted one." Jumping out and running once again, running not looking back.
I went to the tree where I met Derpy, and she was there again. Finally looking back, nobody was chasing me. "My plan worked amazingly!" She said with great joy and excitement.
I came to the only revelation I could think of; "Thanks Derpy, I thought I was be-headed for sure. I'm sorry about earlier, but it is all true, I don't care if I'm from another world, Your my friend. and thats all that matters now."
Derpy and I hugged to be interrupted by a greatly accented voice; "Well Mike, I see you took my sister's advice. and made a friend bond that will stay ahold for a long time." I turned to see a big Unicorn/Pegasis who looked like royalty, with the 6 other ponys from the other day.
"Aww hell nawww... I ain't gonna go die, or rot in a dungeon." I said getting fight ready.
Twilight began to reason with me "That isn't going to happen, nor was it even planned, Princess Celestia was going to take you to Canterlot for research and help your attitude problem, and inform you of several missed details you require." I was trying to understand if what she said was true by tone of voice.
Just to have my thoughts cut off by Rainbow Dash's insult "I would like the Idea of an eternity of him in a dungeon..."
"ha ha, very funny, I forgot to laugh. Can you help that pest, she got ego problems." I said hopping for good results from this princess, I guess.
Celestia responded "Well since you did make a friend, you can stay here in Ponyville. Unless of course you want to inform me and figure out some things, we can head towards Canterlot. But I would like for you to get along with these 6. They bear the key Elements to the Magic of Friendship."
I was sorta baffled by what she meant, but I continued anyways "Ok, well 3 of them, I've never met, and only caught 4 of their names, I don't believe they are satisfied with your verdict."
Applejack began; "I forgive ya, sorry bout 'em apples yesterday." Followed by the purple unicorn "I'd atleast like an apology from when you raged at me." "And for Breaking my nose, stabbing my shoulder, and trying to attack me today!" Rainbow Dash demanded.
I had to figure this out a little, "Ok, cool your, hooves? I accept your apology Applejack, Twilight, I'm sorry but being alone with the sounds of Hell creeping around for 2 monthes wears a man down, and finally Rainbow Dash, I'm at least sorry for the attack today, that was my fault, the other times were all you, so I'd expect a little pity. As for the rest of ya, I'm Mike, I'm a war escapist from I guess another Universe, World, or maybe Time. Now, I had plans to escape this place, but Derpy came, saved me from ya'll, friends can change your actions dramatically, and how others think of you. Thus bringing my conclusion, I'm sorry for all the crazy duck n' goose I set up."
As for that, I was introduced to the other ponys, first, a pink, crazy, enthusiastic, excited, party loving, PINK pony named Pinkie Pie. Then came the fasionist, white with purple curled mane and tail, cleaned unicorn named Rarity. Finally, Fluttershy, a timid, butter-yellow pegasis with pink mane and tail, who also spoke softly. Once we were done with all of the introductions, the princess got my attention "Well Mike, I'd be taking you were looking for this."
She then revealed a familiar, hand-held machine, the one I've been looking for these last two days. She hands it over with some sort of magic that I didn't care about at the time. "My Coordinate Gun! The exact device I've been looking for! Lets see here..." I said with great anticipation and excitement. I'd finally beable to figure out what my machine actually done, where I am, and many other answers nobody would know. We all looked in curiosity, I knew mine was best. Finally, a bleep was heard, meaning it was done computing.
I read the report the machine gave me, "I am... No fricking way...."
"Is there something wrong?" Celestia said in concern.
"Uw! Uw! what is it? what is it?" Pinkie Pie asked with enthusiasm as she hopped up and down.
"I'm supposed not far from home, its saying my home is this way....." As I pointed, the unthinkable occurred, I saw the scorch mark in which I had teleported to. I am home. It might be buried but I'm not certain.
"But that's where we found you out cold at." Twilight said, she looked as baffled as I was myself, I came to a possible explanation, "This can't be... Do we have any excavators around here?" This time I noticed, Celestia's horn glowed as the dirt and grass came loose and was picked up and set aside. When this stopped, I had curiosity, but I picked one over the other. I walked over to the newly formed pit.
"Oh, good fricking lordeh..." I said with awe, "Its my basement..." The Others seemed shocked in awe as I apparently lived here before them.
Applejack began "So watcha saying is that you used to live in that pit?" I nodded and began my story once again "Two long, bloody ass months... I wouldn't be surprised if some bodies are found, but I survived a fricking apocalypse through not a teleporter, but a time machine! Now if only I can restore it and go back before the war, and stop it!"
With my words, the princess didn't seem too acquainted with my plan proposal, and began her thoughts; "Mike, I actually fear to this idea of your's changing the past like that won't do much good for us. In fact, we would not exist for this world of peace, we have been here for many thousands of years, and only few wars have past, none of them were even close to Nation wide. We would ask that you do not, but instead, possibly invite others of your kind who you can trust."
"I-..." left without words, I knew I was starting to tear up, not in sadness, but in joy.
Though the others believed I was shedding sadness, Derpy came up to comfort me until I surprised them all. "HELL YAH!!!!" I actually think I over did that, but I didn't care at the time, I'd be going see those who were being tortured in that hell-like dream, alive!
"Then we ask you only go, but you go to a time before your war, do not change the course of history, but removing people who can keep peace, such as family and friends." Celestia stated as she poofed in a scroll and unrolled it, showing a contract show what agreements and says we both have. "I must have you sign this contract to work on your time machine, otherwise, I will have to use force if you're caught building without the contract." she added. I read it over, repeating what she had just said. I had some funky feeling taking over me.
"Celestia," I paused for a moment to think this through, "I can't..." I said my thoughts to get everybody to gasp in surprise.
"Why the hay not?!" Rainbow Dash said in what was a confused/arguing tone. So I began my speech; "I've learned from my own ways, I was violent to ya'll, and now I consider ya'll my friends, my buddys, my family."
Everybody again was shocked in awe, I opened my arms wide, saying "Group hug? Friends?". To my surprise, I laid the tracks well and everybody hopped right in for the hug. For once in two monthes of war, I had people to talk to, to share my life with, to live for. I had everything placed and set up. once we were done hugging, we all got to a dinner picnic at the tree, as the sunset and Celestia gone, I finally felt like I found what they were talking about.
Friendship is Magic....
Chapter 5; Chef eh?
Only living in Ponyville for a week now, shifting places to sleep, meeting new people, fixing up the whole mob mess, and finding many ponys to be obsessed with me. Twilight, Fluttershy, and a mint-colored Unicorn named Lyra. Twilight wanted information about me, from my anatomy, to my life-style, to my history, and so forth. Fluttershy was just as curious, yet treated me as if I were one of her animals, which she treated like babies. Lyra was curious and fascinated by everything I did, from holding a cup with my two fingers, to how I write.
Curiosity didn't stop some people, or ponys in this case, to see my sheer endurance and physical-self. Rainbow Dash brags of her speed, I on the other hand, run a longer time than her running, I had done several marathons, including the 2013 Boston marathon bombing. Applejack wanted to see if I were fit to help out her family apple farm. I could easily climb a tree and chuck the apples farther than Applejack could buck, but she shook me right out of a tree landing a faceplant on me.
Not to forget my tastes, Rarity was curious on how she would ever make a dress for me, poor pony worried sick, as if she would be jailed if she couldn't make a suit for me. Even if I tried leaving she'd shut the door in my face, even when sneaking out. Her cat, Opal, found an interest into me, and will easily cuddle with me, Rarity found it annoying as I see it cute. Pinkie Pie was the type finding a prank or surprise to get me, I blankly took each joke, I've always had a stone face people say bout me.
Tonight, I go to Twilight's to sleep the night, as I was jumping house after house. She decided to have a talk with me about it after I got settled in. "I understand why you're jumping between houses, but you should consider buying a house yet?"
I thought for a little, and finally said "I have thought of that, but I might just make a house instead, right where it was before. The pit will serve as my basement as I'll square it out. I am an inventor after all, and I haven't gotten to a career here in Ponyville, so why not continue as my old position?" I think its foolproof.
"Build a House by yourself?! Hah! Tell me when it's done, that'll take awhile." Spike went and harrassed on.
Barking back "Not when you consent to your work, taking pride in it. But as I was saying, I've already started collecting parts I need, I got blueprints at the ready, all I gotta do is cut some trees from probably the Everfree forest." I said.
Twilight on the other hand thought of it better, "I think we can get our friends to help too!"
"True, Fluttershy can move the wildlife. Applejack and Pinkie Pie could cut the tree down. Rainbow Dash could cut the branches and leaves out. Spike could burn the bark to crack it for peeling, and Twilight you could remove the bark. Rarity could help put a finish coat and polish on the wood as I set it up for my house. We could make it by a day's end if we're quick and diligent." I added.
"Seems like a great plan! Tomorrow, we'll inform them about it. Now its late and we'd best get Spike tucked in before he drifts off on the latter again." She said while walking up the stairs with Spike. "If you hadn't made such a mess that day..."
They went on about that as I followed them shortly after a strange feeling occurred... Something I've never felt.
In concern, I asked "Twilight! Did you feel anything strange for a second there?" "No? Why?" She responded.
I never felt anything like it, and it passed quite quickly, "Guess I'm just tired myself then..."
I fell asleep rather faster than usual that night. I had a very lucid dream, I was walking through Ponyville, though I was slowly transforming from a Human to a Pony. Freaky as it was everybody didn't seem to notice any change at all. I went to the sight of my house, only to see my newly found friends as humans. Things got swept away and things turn white. From that point on, the blue pony again appeared, similar appearances to Celestia, I spoke out first, "Who are you? You look awfully similar to Celestia.".
Nodding, she said; "I am Princess Luna, youthful Sister of Celestia. I visit dreams of those who are troubled, I can see that you are worried about the appearance of you compared to your friends."
I thought about it, an agreed saying; "Yah, now that you said so, it makes sense. Just it seemed real."
"Dreams are visions we have seen or created within our heads, some are lucid where it tells you something as you have control to find the message. Vivid Dreams are a flight through a message through riddles. And others are simple dreams of past experiences. At times it'll be a sign of the near future." Luna stated in her strong accent, a little harder to understand, but thats just me.
I tried not to be rude, I held my manners out "Thanks for the advise Luna, hope to speak with you in person soon."
"We have been arranging a meeting for your arrival, we will send word as soon as we schedule it." She had concluded on that note. "Alright cool, cya soon." I said, thinking more about this meeting with royalty rather than manners now.
"I bid you farewell, foreign one." Luna concluded.
Things began to fade black, and I had awoken. The sun just below the horizon. Spike and Twilight were still asleep, so I figured I'd make a breakfest for them. I waddled down the stairs still fogged with tiredness, normal morning head. Opening the cabinet, I found a few Eggs, flour, measuring cup, and bread. I took a couple eggs, started up the open-flame pan-grill and started making scrambled eggs. With the remaining eggs, I made pancakes with the flour and water.
Just as I was finishing up, Twilight and Spike wandered down, my pancakes were best in the family. Not flaky, about 3/4 cm thick and golden-browned crust topped with a butter square. To go was scrambled eggs and another breakfest secret for toast. Twilight wandering in as I was about to serve up. "Why up so early cooking breakfest? It smell good too!" Twilight said while still half asleep.
"Twilight, don't eat them all, I'm hungry too." Spike said, sounding just as tired as Twilight. "Theres plenty Spike, I was talking with Luna after having a wierd dream." I said.
I set the plates down as me and Twilight conversed. "Oh boy!" Spike said as he began to chow-down his share of breakfest.
"What was it about?" Twilight asked as she began to eat more mannerly than Spike.
I began telling my tale to Twilight; "I was just minding my own business in Ponyville, walking as I slowly transformed into a pony, odd thing is, I went towards my house site to find ya'll as humans." We all took a few bites out of breakfest as Spike continued eating out of control.
"I'd say weird indeed." Twilight said agreement.
Spike swallowed his food "Say Mike, where'd you learn to cook like this?! Its the best pancake I've ever had!" He asked as he began to eat once more. "This is good, were you a chef too?" Twilight added to the compliment.
"If I were, Its a thing I'm just good at, I made best in the family, I have my inventing of food too!" I said truthfully as we finished up.
"I'd guess so, Thanks for the Breakfest." Twilight concluded. "Can I get more Please???" Spike begged with what I guess is a sympathetic face.
"I could use a chicken farm and wheat farm then, mind provision Spike?" I asked in a joking tone, soon we began laughing altogether.
We cleaned up and got ready to go. I checked myself over for any Pony features none at all, still human. "Ready to go?" Twilight hallored.
"Yah, just a little frightened about that dream so I'm keeping my procautions just incase." I paused as I walked towards the front door. "You go get Applejack and Rarity, look for Rainbow Dash, I'll get Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, and look for Dash as well. We'll meet at noon at the build site." I finished.
"Sounds like a plan." Twilight said.
"Meet at the site just a wink before noon." I finished, she nodded in agreement and began walking off. I began my way as well.
Going off towards Sugar Cube Corner, I look for signs of being a pony, and Rainbow Dash. No sign of anything, I walk into the candy house to be greet Mrs. Cake." Welcome Mike, what can get you today?"
"Hey there Mrs. Cake I'm looking for Pinkie Pie, do know where she is?" I asked.
Looking kind of nervous she responded, "No not since earlier this morning. Why do you ask?"
"Alright, if you do see her, tell her to go my old basement, that ok with you? I'm invite the gang over for a little job." I said, not bothering with her worriedness.
I began to walk out when, with a nervous tone and slightly sweating, Mrs. Cake said "We could actually use your help, are you any good at cooking?"
Curious to what she meant, "Eh, I'd guess so after th-"
"Splendid! We have to make a cake by the top of the hour, Good luck!" She interrupted while pushing me into the kitchen.
The kitchen with lots of ingredients all over the counters, and a book opened to a cake recipe. I walked over to the book, and thought to myself, there should be less egg, less sugar, more flour and milk. With out much of a choice, I begun getting ready, keeping the design and icing. I preheated the oven while mixing the ingredients together, but in the same pace I used for my Pancakes. I got putting the cake in, I pulled a chair, sat and watched it bake. Once it was good, I turned the oven out, pull the cake out, and got to icing. I finished as the Cakes walked in. Mrs.Cake began; "Its wonderful Mike, thank you, we would of never made this order without you!"
Just barely noticing them, I began to walk towards them "I changed up the recipe a little, I made little test cakes for ya'll to try." Showing them a pan with two miniature cakes. I watched them taste it, that seemed surprised, it seemed to put a punch across the face to them.
Mr.Cake then began to speak his face; "Mike, Where did you ever learn to cook? That was delicious!"
"Family thing, this is the second time somebody complemented on my cooking and asked that same question." I responded taking pride in with the compliment.
"Well they should be asking, that was the greatest piece of cake I've ever tasted!" Mrs.Cake furthered added.
Remembering the task of the day, I broke the news to them, "Well sorry to be creeping out so early, I gotta go. If I'm getting paid, leave on my paycheck."
I left and and checked my body over frantically, still good. I looked around the sky for Rainbow Dash once more, still no sign. So I started off to Fluttershy's Cottage. No sign of Rainbow Dash and Pinkie, where they may be, I'm not certain. How Twilight and Spike maybe doing, not a clue.
Chapter 6; Surprise
Arriving finally to Fluttershy's, I knocked on the door, waited a good minute or two, and walked inside with the door being unlocked and all. "Fluttershy?" I said through the house. As it seemed almost abandoned. I simulated myself with self-awareness, getting ready for any ambush just waiting to happen. I crept out the back door to see a couple a of chickens in their little yard. "Fluttershy?" I yelled out once more, to hear no response. I found Angel, Fluttershy's rabbit, poking my leg in attempt to get my attention, I couldn't help but say; "Ya oughtta' watch out, its wabbit season!".
He angrily facepawed himself and showed a crude drawing of Fluttershy. "Where is Fluttershy Wabbit" I went on for laughs and giggles, as he showed a picture of carrot pie. "Wabbit, I ain't gonna make a pie for ya, I've already made a breakfest, a cake, and I don't need to make a pie now.". He took scissors and cut the picture of Fluttershy into two. "Wabbot season! Wheres Fluttershy before I decide to make wabbit stew!". Angel gulped in response, pointing off towards a cloud, I heard laughing, a familiar, insulting laugh... Rainbow Dash...
I yelled out with a rageful voice, "RAINBOW DASH!!! GETCHO ASS ON DOWN HERE!!!" My yelling made the cloud she hid on disappear, she said in response "Hehehe, uh oh..." and flew away towards town. I ran and parkoured in a frantic chase as Sweet Apple Acres began to appear. She flew towards the farm, over the path. Once she got there, she hid in the barn, and damn well she did. "Alright Rainbow Dash, I chased you through Ponyville, ya start tag and now we're playing hide and seek? We don't change the rules whenever we want." I said with some exhausted breathes.
I heard movement in a bale of hay, as an AC fan, and me being on the second floor, I tried out my first ever 'leap of faith'. Landing straight on Rainbow Dash, I pinned her down easily that time. "Alright, Game's over, wheres Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy? I'm done playing duck and goose." I said tiredly.
"Go ahead and try me, you won't get a word out of me!" Dash said so arrogantly.
"Really? What if I had the money for a Wonderbolts show?"
"Nope"
"I stab you again."
"Nope"
"Bribe?"
"Did you just stop trying?" She said, breaking the pattern. I had to quickly think of something, then it hit me; "Tazzor."
"Whats that?" She said in wonder.
"A thing you may like, let me test." I said while pulling it out. I cleared off of her and shot her with a tazzor gun just as she tried to fly off.
"STOP ITZZZZ!!!" She said with volts of electricity zapping her. I turned it down to 0 volts and asked again, "Where are they! I will charge it again to fatal levels!"
That there got her, but to an answer I didn't want to hear; "Take a little joke! Don't have to hound me down on it, anyways, you're late to your house building." She flew off after detaching herself. I knew where I had to go now, my house, so I went off in the same pace as if I were chasing Rainbow Dash again, who pretty much was ahead of me going to the same place.
I stopped finally when my stomach halted me, it was a couple hours after noon and all I had was my breakfest. I saw a stand carrying a variety of fruits and vegetables. I walked over and looked over at the foods as the clerk informed me; "Carrots are in season, they're fresh and juicy if thats what you're wantin hun."
I looked around, picked out what I wanted, "I'll take an apple and 2 carrot please."
"That'll be 7 bits." She said with her country accent. I searched my pocket for some bits, apparently I'd found a note with the bits I pulled out. Ignoring the note, I paid the clerk and went on my way walking, I took a bite out of the apple as I opened and read the note. I stated;
Dear Mike,
I'm sorry for all the commotion caused today, but we're all here by the building site. Come on down, we have a surprise for you!
Your friend; Twilight Sparkle.
Finishing the apple and starting on the carrot, I kind choked with the flavor difference and to my thought of the suprise. What was it? Could they have gotten started already? Maybe some sort of party? or a get together?
Not paying attention, I bumped into a pony. "My bad, sorry." I said while still mumbling ideas. Though slipping completly off my mind, I remembered the dream, I was walking that same pace on the same road about the same time. I checked myself over as if I were being attacked by thousands of bugs. I checked all over and finally felt my ears... They were... abnormal.
I stood in complete shock and awe, "Its happening..." I said to myself aloud. Starting in a mad sprint, faster than how I had ever ran. Heading towards where my house was. Its freaking happening, I'm turning into a pony type! I kept running as my hands turned to hooves and tail sprouted above by butt. The closer I got, the worse it became. Eventually, my feet changed and lost my balance, landing face first. I brought myself up, picked up my metal soled boots and tried to adjust to walking like a pony. I tripped on myself several times by just walking as a pony, I tried as if I were a human, but ended the same.
I passed Fluttershy's to my knowledge of my house being a distance north from here, over the hill. I climbed to the top of the hill, being a complete Earth pony now. My eyes and mouth went in shock when I saw my house nearly done, but that wasn't the only thing, I saw them all as humans, just like in my dream.
As taking this through my now pony head, they all yelled "SURPRISE!!!" and cheered walking over to me. Twilight wrapping her now human arm around my pony-like shoulders. "Welcome to your new home!" She said while waving it in the distance.
"Hes a pony! Oh boy! We're going to have so much fun as pony friends finally and-" Pinkie Pie was saying until Applejack went and tried muffled her.
"Yes Pinkie, we got eyes to see it." Applejack said with annoyance in her voice.
Fluttershy continued; "He looks so cute as a pony now. Who's a good pony?" she started rubbing my chin as I backed away slowly.
Rarity beginning now; "Darlings, it took me long enough to make these 'divine' dresses for us, now I need to find a suit for this fine gentlecolt."
"Ohmygosh! He's officially 20% cooler!" Rainbow Dash said in awe. I had things running through my head and suddenly said "Wait a second, ya'll had this planned out? What is this?"
"Well I felt so good about how you served breakfest for Spike and me, so when you told me about your dream, I made a spell for us. That way we could feel what its like to be each other!" Twilight explained.
Spike, being a boy maybe 8 or 9 years old, began, "So went we went our ways to get our friends, Twilight teleported and told them ahead of time, and cause distractions for you so we could build your house!"
"Well then, ya'll didn't have to do the building, but ya mind me being human again, learning how to walk like this ain't all a slice of cake." I said in honesty.
Pinkie Pie blowing through Applejack's hand finally "Speaking of cake, We have a cake waiting inside!"
Fluttershy began "Are you sure you want to be a human again? You look so cute as if I could give you a big huggle-snuggle-buggy!"
Rarity continued "These dresses took hours of labor using template I had made from you."
Applejack finished "N' learnin to walk like ya wasn't all the easy either."
Resoluted not to be over taken by sympathy, I stated once more, "I ain't gonna use my mouth for nothing but talking, breathing and eating, nothing gonna be picked up there. And I'm not to sure now but I'd think ya'll would have some sort of attitude change, but I guess thats different. Good thing too, I don't got any chocolates." I was talking about periods, not human attitude changes.
"I can make it to the point where you're a human with us." Twilight resoluted.
"Alright, hit me on." I said in conclusion. Twilight raised her horn that she kept as a human. With a magical shot at me, I became a human once more, me looking weird as I was barefooted and on me hands and feet. I got up, pulled out my boots, and put them on. "Alright, much better now."
I stood abroad and taller than everybody else as I could finally put it. "No way! Hes STILL taller than us?!?" Rainbow Dash said. "Hell yah! Got a problem with that? or how my humans put it, You mad bro?" I said with a humorous tone.
We all started laughing and went to work finishing the house. Dusk began as we finished, sat down in hand crafted table and chairs and ate the cake, that I made earlier to my surprise, and shared jokes and stories. As I had slept in their houses, they had a sleepover with me, but as human form that night. As I fell asleep, I felt another wave of something, the same feeling I got the night before at Twilight's. I knew it wasn't sleepiness anymore, there is something going on.
Something, Only I could feel. It was calling to me...

Well, I will attempt to get these chapters out, but I do have some other work to do, not to mention re-script them about 3 more, then continue my story typing. I perfer working on these stories on a notepad rather than type on the website, but I do go back and reread before posts. Hope ya'll enjoy and read on.

Chapter 7; Unexpected Meeting
Trying to ignore the calling, I was forcing myself to sleep on a cushioned sleeping bag in my new house. Everybody else was fast asleep, Twilight's spell still going on, I exited the house to see the moon with the mare in it. I looked over to the side to Friendship Tree I'd call it, due to the events prior. I climbed up to a branch and went outward towards a clearing. I looked again at the moon, it glared a flash at me as I heard Luna's voice again. "Why thou up so late during this night?"
"I can't sleep, I felt something strange, like nothing I've ever felt. It happened the night before too." I said.
"hmm... I hast not heard of such, nor felt anything. Are you just tired?" Luna asked in concern, though I myself can't answer that. "I'm not tired, something is calling me at the same time when I try to sleep."
"I will send forth news to my sister, we will have a meeting. Tomorrow at the highest point of sun, take the train with the others, you are heading to Canterlot. And do try to sleep." Luna concluded, I can do so I guess "Will do, thanks for the talk."
"Sleep well, foreign one." The Night Princess finished.
The mare pattern flashed once more before disappearing off the moon. She is right, I should get some sleep. I yawned before starting my way down the tree. At the base to my suprise was Twilight, clouded in sleepyness, she asked; "Mike, what are you doing up so late at night?".
"I couldn't sleep, I was talking with Princess Luna, We're heading to Canterlot tomorrow at noon." I stated, feeling tired myself. Twilight awoke herself better when she comprehended what I'd just said. "We're going to Canterlot, tomorrow?!" She hesitated.
"The others too, I have a meeting I must attend with Celestia herself, we have some issues to discuss." I stated once more. "Well tell us again in the morning.." She yawned "I'm going back to bed, Night Mike."
"Cya in the morning Twilight." I said as I looked back at the moon, and started back into the newly built house. I curled up into my own sleeping bag as I was deep in thought. Twilight didn't seem to mind being human at all, I actually think she enjoyed so. Things slipped away as I fell asleep to a dreamless sleep. It felt like minutes passed when Twilight awoken me by shaking me relentlessly. "Mike! Wake up we're going to be late for the train!" I got up instantly, pushing off the unicorn, knowing that she changed herself back.
"I slept that long?!" I panicked as I got myself ready. Rainbow Dash went on her own road of thoughts "You're the heaviest sleeper in Equestria!"
I finished throwing my bag over my shoulder "Blast that, lets get going."
We charged toward the train station. Noticing the sun's location, I went from a jog to a sprint, starting to outrun the others as I parkoured through market stands, boxes and barrels. Though they did adjust their pace to mine. We got to the train just as it was about to depart. Fileing in, I said tiredly "Ya won't see many humans do that, most of them are too lazy to, and the fact I'm the last one."
Nobody really caring due to panting breathes, we waited on the train ride, me looking out the window as the others conversed in issues I didn't pay attention to. Subduing myself in the scenery of a city hanging off the side of the cliff, suggestivly Canterlot as it grew bigger as we travelled. I had thoughts of what the strange feelings may have been. Cycling myself in dreams of thoughts and ideas, until Twilight went to speak with me. "Hey Mike, what were you talking about last night with princess Luna?"
My thoughts were elsewhere, but I began anyways; "Uhh, I couldn't sleep last night, so I stepped out to gaze the skys, and I saw the sign of her on the moon. Most likely wanting business or to converse, I climbed the tree and began talking with her, I had the same feeling as the night before at your place. She has no idea what it could mean so she decided to make plans for a meeting today. After that, we finished and I went back down to go in when I saw your sleepy head out of bed."
She had some curious tone as she spoke this time "I wonder what that could mean myself, but we'll figure it out here soon. So anyways, how do you like Ponyville?"
"I find it great so far, I kinda think I need a break from everybody's, or ponys', curiousity. I know I'm like nothing they've ever seen but it gets annoying after a little." I said, really thinking about how annoying it gets at times.
"Well, why don't you ask somethings about us? I'm sure you have some questions yourself." Twilight-bulbed in solution. I thought about it for a second, I knew plenty already. "Thats just it, back where I came from, our history, especially Greek mythology dealt with it, Pegasi being a rare sighting, able to fly with great speed. The best example I remember is of a hero named Hercules, who was born a god, and had great strength. He was givin a Pegasis as a gift from his father, Zeus, King of Gods." I said as if I were teaching history class.
"What about Earth ponys and Unicorns?" She asked.
I had thought of that, and began again. "Earth ponys were an abundant population, they were used as the work force for farmers and rangers, until replaced by machines, they were still a popular ranch animal. Unicorns are a specimin I hadn't heard from much, but the best example is a fool at the McDonalds Drive-thru." Then I thought, "Now that I think about it, you got magic, how does that work? The only magic I know is sleight of hand and optical illusions."
Twilight smiled, "Smart little cookie, Magic is a talent that certain unicorns who pursue it. There are many spells out there, from levitation, to minor-time travelling. I know alot because I was taught under Princess Celestia herself!"
"Well then, should I call you royalty then my highness." I said letting out a chuckle afterword.
Twilight noticed the joke, let out some giggles and began "Well, no not really."
Forgetting the joke, I looked around a bit, noticed Rarity to be a unicorn as well. "What about Rarity over there, she go along with you in magic classes?"
"No, I met her when I first moved to Ponyville. I don't recall seeing her at all in Canterlot." She said with some thought.
"Eh, I getcha, I just wonder what Celestia and I will be discussing on short notice..." I said cutting myself off in thought.
"Whatever the cause, it can't be anything bad, right?" Twilight seemed unsure at that point, but I responded in my thoughts "I'm not certain at all."
"Well anyhoof, once business is dealt with, we'll roam the city, so you check it out."
Just as she was finishing, I had the feeling again, following up with a nasty migrain. It felt stronger now, closer, as if it were breathing down my back, saying 'You can't escape' strong.
"Mike, are you alright?" Twilight said in concern as I began rubbing my temples.
"Errg, the feeling is back... Fricking strong ass migrain too..." I struggled saying.
"Guys, he isn't feeling good!" Things started getting blurry, my hearing was being muffled as I faintly heard what Twilight said. I heard Applejack's voice and blacked out with the sight of them looking at me in concern.
I knowing I was in a dream, got up, I was in a dark castle ruins. It was a little foggy as I looked around, it was the throne room, I was at the foot of the throne. "Hello? Ya guys there?" I asked yelling out, to only here my echo. I started down the stairs on the other side of the throne room. Travelling through far enough to see a strange, branched out pedestal with 5 slots, all empty. I then walked outside to what was night time fog, and a bridge that was out.
"Hello?" I yelled once more to get a response of the bridge fixing itself. The hell was this trickery, I didn't know, but crossed it anyhow to find the Everfree Forest. I entered with a sigh of disappointment, knowing I wasn't going to like what I would find, yet finding nothing but a raging river. Nobody else around, yelling once more to get the response of a smooth river. Sighing again in disbelief, I crossed the river to hear a sinister and ghastly voice, "You're welcome, jerk!".
"Who's there?" I said in surprise and releasing my hidden blades. The voice ominously responded "Me you twit!"
"Can I hear a name please? Cause I don't think I know you or do I see you..." I asked keeping my stance as it responded once more; "My name is not important, Mike, why did you leave us?"
Appearing in my face were blackened flames, emerging was another, familiar, but ghastly human. Then it hit me, I knew this man. "Dave? Is that you????"
"Dave I am," He crossed his arms, "you remembered my name atleast, but you left us to die! What type of friend are you?!!"
"Look, I wasn't even sure if my machine would work in the first place, and as glad as I am to see your face again, I had no choice but to go, I didn't know if you were even alive or not." I said retracting my blades.
Dave sighed, and... "I WAS AT YOUR FUCKING CELLAR DOOR!!! I DIED TRYING TO GET IN THERE!!! DAMN IT MIKE, YOU KILLED ME!!!" he yelled to my shocked.
Dave continued to go on, I didn't pay attention as I was thinking elsewhere. How to help him? Celestia voice then echoed, I knew what to do "Jeeze man, I got a plan, just it'll take some time."
"And... Wait, really? How do you plan to bring me from the dead? Go back in time and alter the course of history? Phff." he said in disbelief and went on. Ignoring his words, "Actually, yes, thats my plan." I said with pride, trying to keep myself serious. "Wait, what now?" he said with some confusion.
"I'm going to restore my Time machine," I began "which I found the remains of, and go back in time to December of 2017, a month before the war."
Dave closed his nearly transparent eyes, began rubbing his chin. "Its a possibility, but my ghostly self will cease to exist til new times. Alright, you got a week to restore it and get me." I said without my say.
Knowing that the materials I need may not exist, I started persuading; "I'll need alot more time than just a week. I got to sign a contract. I live in new lands, peaceful one too. The owner, Princess Celestia, says I must only allow trusted people from the past, so forth, I'll have t forge new tools, find and melt metals, generate lots of electricity and go, not to mention return machine. New callobrations, altogether, it'll take bout a year Dave."
Dave looked at me again "Your joking.. Right?"
"Unfortanatly, I'm not, I would just go on first notice, but I can't. Dave, I am truly sorry but I could of helped you, yet I never noticed you. Trust me on this, take my soul if I can't, I will come for you, and save your ass bro, ya got my word." I said, actually being serious about it.
"Uuhhh, as much as I'm fustrated, and how much you're right, just try to get me ASAP, I'll check up with you. But you have to come into this God forsakin forest, My lingering soul can't go an inch out of here." He said with some sorrow. "Ya got it, it is nice to see ya again." I said remembering about the others, and this being a dream
Dave began walking towards me "It took awhile, but I learned some magic mate, ya should try it! You can enter people's dreams with it, and interact with it, just as I'm doing now."
Reaching over with his hand, Dave touched my head to some magic I supposed. Suddenly I received memory of doing the spell. I learned how to Dream Stalk, just like Princess Luna, but more anonymously and unnoticed.
"Cool bro, again sorry, I will come and get ya." I apologized once more.
"No problem, I'll let ya go now. Nice talking with ya 'gain, Mike. I'll see ya soon. And come back later, I've been working on other spells." Dave concluded. "K, catch ya later." I said as things grew white.
I woke up in a hospital like room, a nice one too. I got up and looked around, the other ponys were asleep. I looked around a little bit more, thinking about what Dave had said, and heard a familiar voice as I looked at the ceiling; "Well Mike, thou hast awaken!"
"Princess Luna, I got lots to explain and-" I began to be interrupted. "Rest young one, I must explain first. You fell out black on the train ride. I tried entering your dreams, but a force pushed me out, care to explain?" She asked with authority in her voice. "I will, just lets do so in the meeting, I'm assuming I missed it while drifting off." I said trying to escape one on one situation with her.
"Yes, indeed you missed it, but we cancelled it once we got word from your friends." Luna answered.
"Alright, lets try again tomorrow, I'm tired and I got to collect my thoughts so I don't leave a fact out." I said, I was still a little dazed so I was cutting corners.
"Wise I must say, Good night once more." She said as she began to left the room. I fell asleep till the dawn of the morning, no dreams, just your average sleep.
I got up after faking pretty much the rest of the night away, only to be suprised. Everypony had gathered around me hugging me in joy and relief. Twilight being first to speak, "Mike, you scared me back there!"
"You really shouldn't stress yourself too much, its bad for your health, but I'm just sooo happy I could just" Fluttershy began inhaling a large amount of air "yay..!"
Applejack Continued on; "Sugarcube, don't get us all worked up ova' nothin again. Alright?"
"Feeling better? Cause I feel like racing today for sure!" Rainbow Dash challenged.
Finally, I got my chance to talk "Yes, Yes, it was something I didn't see coming and-" Being interupted by Pinkie Pie firing her party cannon and playing a bunch of instruments.
"Pinkie Pie, We don't need the party, theres a time and place. As I was saying, I-" Being interupted again, but by Princess Celestia this time.
"Nice to see you awake Mike. We must start our meeting, we have lots to discuss and little time to do so." Celestia began and concluded.
"Can I explain one simple thing before I'm interupted a third time?" I said on my last straw "An old friend of my had found a way to tell me something important, but he is passed at the time. He used a spell so he could discuss with me, he wants to join me here, but for ya'll to talk to him, ya gotta be with me in the Everfree Forest, where his soul is stuck."
"HAH! I told ya somepony did it!" Rainbow Dash gloated. I began again "Somebody, he too, was a human. But details will be discussed later, I have to go attend this meeting, Princess Celestia, do you still have that contract, I will be remaking my time machine to bring him here, I trust him fully that he will not abrupt great problems." I concluded in a business attitude. I started getting out of the equipment and hopping off the bed.
"Yes, I have it still, we can discuss that in the meeting." Celestia concluded as we walked towards the small hospital room's exit.
"This might take awhile guys, so cya'll." I said through the door to my friends. I followed the Princess through the castle to her throne room, as the guards left the room, closing the doors shut.
"Now, Mike." The Princess began. "You have been a guest to my land for about a week, only caused a couple felonys in which were pardoned and finally, passed out due to a ghost of your friend. I'd wish to know more about your backround if you wouldn't mind." I had an assumption on where this was going, but I ain't got any reason to lie.
"I've got no problems with that. I was born in the year 1996 to a somewhat higher middle-class family. I was the third of 5 kids, so I am right in the middle, but that doesn't stop a dream. In my life, I played many games, did many things, one of few notable, Inventing and engineering, I knew for many years, since the age of 10, that the government was unstable, that the people would revolt. I was right, just 12 years later, a war broke out in late January of 2018. My country's government was over thrown, thus making it a vulnerable target to conquer with nobody in control. So early in the next two monthes did many nations try to take control, killing one another for power, power that many knew was out of reach and not worth it. That was me, sitting in my cellar for 2 monthes. I may have had the slightest case of insanity when I got here, not talking to anybody but myself for 2 monthes, waking up in a strange new world, I was shocked. I grew used to it, and here I am now."
A couple of seconds past as I watched Celestia's face for explainable expressions, before I could make it out she began; "Alright, thats believable. Now, who may this ghostly friend of yours?"
"His name is Dave, I met him when I was 12, been friends since. I want to bring him here so I don't have to grief for him, I had actually been the person who killed him for not opening my cellar to him, though I could not hear him over the other noise pollution during the war." I said, to have her respond almost instantly "Do you believe he will be stable enough to understand what you do now?"
Letting out a sigh, I said "I predict that he'll be some trouble getting to come with me, but he will be in a more mind stabled shape if I got back a month before the war began."
"Very well," Celestia agreed while making the scroll appear once more. "just sign the contract, remember, only Dave will be brought back, and make sure that you have proper calibrations to get there and back, and by back, I mean at least a minute after you leave, so no time paradoxes are made." She seemed ensuring.
"Hey, I'm smart enough to know this stuff if I had built it before." I said trying to get some sort of emotion out of her, I gotta figure her out to understand her face. Rereading the contract, I signed it, and handed it back. She signed and stamped it. The contract was approve, and I could bring Dave back now.
Celestia began again "You have the right to repair and build your time machine once again, but use it only for saving Dave. Now that thats settled, is there anything else you would want me to know or ask me about?"
"Yah, one thing." I had something lingering in my head; "On the train before I went out, Twilight was telling me about magic, and in the dream, Dave showed me how to go into somebody's dreams. those strange feelings I got was only him trying while I was awake, and he did the last one forcefully, causing me to go out. And well now I'm left to the question, do ya think I could be taught how to do some magic, cause all I've known are little Illusions and speed."
"hhmmmm... I suppose I could try to teach you, but it will be different than how we do so." Celestia stated in some noticeable confusion. "Not really, see my hands? I have fingers, they are just as good, if not better than horns." I clarified.
"Let us leave that for another day though, Twilight could teach you a thing or two about magic." Celestia said wanting to get off the topic. "I'd guess, she has some books bout it too." I agreed.
Celestia then caught me off guard with the simple statement; "I have just one last question for you." I took a sigh after thinking about it, and finally said, "Alright, hit me up."
Celestia took a breath, "Do you trust your friends, do you care for them as they do for you? They were truly trusting and having faith in you while you were out."
"Doosy indeed." I began with a bit of thought. "I have faith in them, just I should tell them how I feel about each one of them. I am a little pestered when they get all curious and into my business, and I understand why. I should be the same with them, but I know so much already about Earth ponys and Pegasi. My uncle used to own what you would call an Earth pony, we called her Choco because her fur looked like chocolate. She did not speak the tongue we do now. Pegasi were never seen in my eyes, but there were myths of them in our history." Pausing to breath a little; "Finally Unicorns had the mystery wrap, not heard of often in myths, nor history, but at restraunts."
Celestia answering; "Then you'll do just fine, this meeting is over unless you have anything else." Not having anything in mind, "Nada."
"Very well, you may leave." Celestia finished as she turned to the side and began walking. "Thanks for ya time Princess, and thanks for forgiving me of my actions." I said in hopes of increasing her mood, which seemed odd now.
She left without another word, I headed towards the doors in which I came from. Something just ain't right, she doesn't trust me fully, I just know it! I should worry less about that, I got curious friends to deal with. Trust is a treasure, yet also a foe, no matter who you are.

Chapter 8; Canterlot
Leaving the Throne room, the doors opened by themselves to reveal my pony friends again, this time actually celebrating with Pinkie Pie's cannon 'o Part-a and one-pony band. All of them yelling "SUPRISE!!!". I stood speechless in awe.
"Were you suprise? Cause we had a" Pinkie Pie fired her cannon once more; "boat load of fun setting this up and to celebrate!" I regained my thoughts after that minor mind burst and got on topic. "Well suprised I am, Pinkie, ya finally caught me off guard. Though I would celebrate, but I got issues to deal with, two of which I can do now."
Applejack began to walk up; "Mike, ya gotta take a break every once in awhile. Life ain't all bout work'n, its bout having fun with ya friends!"
"I don't doubt you Applejack, but it is about ya'll. Do ya'll really trust me? Take me in as one of your own when I could be a possible threat?" I said with curiosity and the cat looming in my head. Twilight being first to respond; "Of course we do Mike, what are friends who don't trust eachother!"
"With that said," Rarity continued; "I think it goes for each one of us here."
With an answer to that, I began once more, "Well, I trust ya'll too. Secondly, I don't mind a question or two from ya'll, I know your curious but I got some things that I'd rather keep private, and plain and simply, annoying with a constant hurricane of questions."
"Thats understandable fer me." The farm pony accepting my request.
"But, how do you know so much about us???" Pinkie Pie asked, bypassing my statement.
"One, common sense, I'm your friend. Two, the history of humans reveal such creatures as yourself, my uncle used to own what I'd guess is one of your ancestors." I began walking as they followed.
"What about pegasi? Wasn't there pegasi?" Rainbow Dash said while flying in my face. "Yes," I said pushing her aside; "I personally didn't see one myself, but there were tales, same with Unicorns."
"Please tell me they at least have a good sense of fashion??" I looked over at Rarity who looked somewhat worried; "That my friend was up to their owner's choice, back then we were the dominate species, so I guess time passed, war raged and you guys survived along with other creatures, or something like that. I'm not so certain to what may have happened in the spreaded time period." I said starting to wonder, what really did happen that led to this.
Beginning our way on the streets just outside the castle, Spike began "Twilight, c'mon I want some donuts!" while rubbing his stomach area. "I could use something to eat myself." I said in agreement, though I was more interested in looking at the city up close.
Twilight breaking my site seeing, "Then lets go eat, then we'll look around the city." Thus, we started on our way towards the donut shop that Spike so desperately wanted to go to. Thinking about many things, materials I'll need, equipment and tools that the time machine would require. I began doing what I usually do for plans, drift my visual from my eyes to mental vision. As helpful as it is, I can't hold it with interruptions, such as Rainbow Dash; "Hey, Mike. Feeling up for a race?"
I went back to reality, and asked her "Where to?"
"To the Donut shop, its down this street." She stated pointing her hoof down the road to a donut sign towards the end of the road. I nodded; "Alrighty, wanna try running instead of flying? I think its fair that way."
"No wings, no way!" She barked back, as she crossed her fore-hooves. "I'd be up fer a little race, since somepony doesn't wanna play fair with ya." Applejack said glaring at me then to Rainbow Dash. The cyan pegasis paused and finally gave in saying; "Oh fine, I won't fly."
We lined up side by side taking our stands. "Ya'll ready?" I said looking at them. "ee-yup" Applejack said followed by Rainbow Dash; "Ready to win!". I took one last glimpse to the target and the path we would travel. Finally, I shouted the one chaotic word; "GO!"
We started in a mad scrambling run towards the donut shop, which was just out of sight. I ran at a half-sprint-jog pace, and found an easy path above the streets and taking only 4 steps was on the rooftops.
"Hey, he flew!" Rainbow Dash said when she noticed me above the road. I kept to my footing instead of replying completely saying something that was supposed to mean 'I used items to my advantage'.
Still running, Applejack led ahead with Rainbow Dash just on her neck, I was behind them. I saw the donut shop and bushes not far from it. "Perfect" I said to myself as I took the final sprint, jumping right off in front of the other two ponys, rolling out of the bushes and to my feet to complete the dash.
Applejack noticed and began to tease, "Look at that, he can run faster than" pausing for air; "Dash here!" "Not on my watch!" she said in reply as she started catching up to me. The donut shop was maybe 50 meters away as I began my sprint leading myself ahead of the others. Applejack and Rainbow Dash began to catch up to me as we grew closer to the donut shop. Finally, taking one last step, the three of us finished at the same split second.
I leaned over to pant, and said what I could; "Well then, wings give ya, speed Rainbow." I stopped leaning forward to crack my back.
"What are you talking about?!" Rainbow Dash barked "I clearly won there!" I felt insulted by her, and started back at her, "If you won, then how could you prove it? There was no slow-mo cam."
Sticking up was Applejack, before another thing was said, "I reckoned we all won."
The cyan pegasis looked as if she was thinking about something after, then was interrupted by the others who didn't race. "Well then, you all look tired." Twilight said walking past us with the baby dragon set upon her back.
Rarity continued on after obvious observations; "Who won your petty scramble then?" Seeming insulted, Rainbow Dash boasted; "I beat them both without my wings!"
"I'ma letcha go on that one, I'm too hungry to argue." Applejack said beginning to walk into the donut shop, I had few words still; "Agreed, shall we feast?"
"Of course! What in Equestria are you waiting for, lets go!" Spike said with such enthusiasm, such that I did not have the energy to express.
We enter the donut shop and got ourselves free donuts thanks to Twilight, so that I was thankful for. They were actually pretty good Donuts too! We just ate, not even bothering to chat much at all. When we finished, we headed out to roam Canterlot. "Alright, where to begin the tour?" I asked as I looked at the skylines. Twilight darted "The Castle Library!".
Applejack continuing; "The city's marketplace!"
"Uw! Uw! The Party and surprise Store!!!" Pinkie said hopping around me.
Rainbow Dash then hovering into my face "The Wonderbolts Stadium!"
"The Gardens!" Fluttershy said shoving the cyan pony out of the way, to my surprise. Yet, Rarity had the last say; "Fashion shopping!".
I simply looked around ignore them as they tried to enforce where they wanted to go. Pushing everything out and entering my mind once more, I thought of everything in a matter of seconds in my quiet conscious, remembering my time machine's blueprints. I then jumped out of dreamland. "Hey! Stop fighting, I know where we are going."
My pony friends looked at me suddenly, the purple unicorn beginning; "Where to?".
"Well, duh!" Pinkie Pie began, "We are going to Paaarrrr-ttaaahh!"
"Sorry, but no Pinkie. Now I understand all of what you guys want, and we will get to it. I would like to find the metal smiths around here, I need some materials, metals to be specific." I said taking control of the discussion.
Spike jumped in, pointing his finger down a road "That's towards the Markets!"
"Then thats where we'r head'n" Applejack said walking off. "After that, we will go to the next closest place and so forth, agreed, no arguements" Concluding myself as we began our way towards the forgery.
Rainbow Dash , though, had her own questions; "Why do you even need metals?"
I gathered my thoughts for a second and explained, "I will be going back in time to bring a friend, I may need to re-make a generator, restore my time machine, and create a return device."
"Can I come?! Can I come?! I want to see my greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreat grandparents!" The hopping, overloaded with sugar, pink pony composed.
"Unfortunately, no," I began once again, "you cannot. Its signed on contract by Celestia herself. And its just a theory, not a fact."
Pinkie Pie fell flat on her face, lifted out of the ground saying one word, "Awwwww!"
Hovering over, Fluttershy asked; "What was your world like? Did it have all sorts of cute little animals?"
"Yes, there were animals, ranging from many sea critters, to variety of rainforest animals, to thousands of birds, to mammals as ourselves." I paused, savoring the moment. "Just, up until war raged, I only saw a couple cockroaches here and there."
"Say, what did our ancestors do anyhow? The orange, southern accented pony asked. I had a simple historic explanation; "Well, most of the time they were a working mammal, being faster than humans like myself, they were roughened up and trained by their owner. Horses date back thousands of years before I came to be, some working on ranches to help herd cattle, transport people in carriages, and at times, served in wars. I'd almost say mans 2nd best friend."
"Who was the first best?" Twilight followed. "Dog is mans best friend," I began; "though I don't thats the case anymore."
We had a quick laugh time, until Spike began; "Over there, look! The Metal Steeds Forge is over there!"
"Alright, lets hope they got some titanium alloy." I stated as Rainbow Dash followed fuddled "Titani-what now?"
It slipped my mind, never telling them about our makings, "It's a light-weight, durable metal compound. It was used for many stealth fighters and bombers, which I forgot, I should look into re-creating flight of man."
"WAIT!" Dash darted; "Humans can fly?!!"
"How? You don't have magic or wings!" Twilight reinforced.
On the other hand, I had a counter statement; "But we had brains. Humans were always fascinated by the bird, and always tried to mimic its flight. Around a century before I was born, a pair of brothers, commonly known as the Wright Brothers, created and flew the first known, motorized controlled aircraft. Thus, adjustments were made and we came to metal works and all sorts of things. Have any of you seen lighting flash in the sky?"
Walking into the smoked smithy as they nodded. "That is static electricity, an unstable form of electricity, but I require a stable form of it"
Rarity then spoke up, "I've always hated metal, its like a gentlecolts diamonds."
"Oh, but we used diamonds as jewelry, and for our tools!" I continued "Diamonds are a hard substance used alot by humans. In fact, I should have a broach my mother gave me, encrested with 50 diamonds exactly."
As we walked up to the counter, we saw a colt with a nametag saying 'Bill' and he greeted us. "Welcome to the Metal Steeds Forge, what can I getch-ya'll?" The burly stallion said with a deep yet firm voice.
Forgetting not to mind a person's, or pony's voice, I began "Yes, you wouldn't happen to have any titanium alloy, would you?" Now I was a little shocked, my voice compared to his was like a whisper in a rock concert.
"Titanium? I've never heard of a metal like that." Bill responded thinking I was off my head, I think he too is surprised by a person like me.
"It's a compound alloy," I said; "do you mix metals?"
The smoke-bellowed horse continued, "Yes, but titanium was never a metal we made." Turning his head behind him; "Steve! Do you know anything about a 'titanium' of some sort?"
Another colt walked up towards the counter wearing a blacksmith's suit. Resembling a robot somewhat, he scared Fluttershy who hid behind me.
"Yes, I know titanium," He began with I voice similar to Bill's, but sounded more intellectual. "what do ya need titanium for?"
"A device, the Princess herself signed off for me to make and use. Does that prove authority?" I said with-holding my dignity. Lifting his mask, Steve stared at me for a few seconds rubbing his chin, finally saying; "Very well, but we do not sell it here however. Our distributors do, we could make a special order and receive it by month's end. How much do you require?"
Taking a few moments to do some mental math, I concluded; "100 Ingots of Titanium should do, and you wouldn't happen to sell smithing tool too, would ya?"
"Alright, 100 titanium bars, steel clamp and hammer. Anything else?" Steve asked as he turned. I had nothing else, "Thats bout it."
Steve walked back to his place as Bill began to total up. "Total will be about 1362 bits."
The others seemed in shock, but I expected a hefty expense, but not as low as this, I practically had a third of that already. "Could there be a way for me to just pay you when the order arrives? I won't need the tools until I get the metal." I asked, hoping to get away with that atleast.
The stallion took a second, and said with his deep voice again; "I suppose so, but once the shipment comes, you have a week to collect it, or it'll be removed from reservation. Deal?"
I looked at Bill in the eyes, and finished, "Got ourselves a deal, mate. I'll be back round the end of the month."
We shook, hand to hoof on the deal. Following that, we left the smoldering smith shop to a breath of fresh air. Upon leaving, I was only to listen to Twilight ranting on. "Mike, What the hay were you thinking?!"
"We can't all just help you all the time darling." Rarity followed up.
"Just hold the pity," I said to stop them for a bit, "I already have about half that, and I'm sure I can take a loan out."
"Taking a loan is the last thing you'd ever want to do." Applejack countering, followed by the elegant unicorn; "Loans aren't for sipping wine dear."
My mind went into my memories again, soon after, Rainbow Dash began; "Lets go back in there and-"
I cut her off; "Wait, what did you say Rarity?" She looked at me with curiosity, "We can't just-"
Cutting Rarity off; "After that, about the wine."
"A loan is not for wine sipping?" She replied once more, even more confused than before.
"Ok, forget the money issue, thats done and out of the question." I said dropping the problem, I felt the need to keep details a surprise. The other ponys ganged together and looked at me as if I've gone mad. Fluttershy began the words on their faces; "What do you mean by that?"
"Yah? Don't tell me you're going to hold bets and drinking contests..." Twilight assumed drastically.
"Not at all," I digressed "I'll explain later. Back in Ponyville, I don't need people, or ponys, to know my secret."
"A secret?! Don't worry, we can Pinkie Promise!" Pinkie said as she began the motions; "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!"
With holding a laugh, letting a couple chuckles out, I reminded; "Just lay off, like ya'll said earlier, lets enjoy ourselves."
We went on through the rest of Canterlot. My pony friends were still unaware to what else I had locked up in my cellar, plenty of great things. I have to say, the city is quite huge for a cliff-hung town. Though Princess Celestia did get the best of my curiosity, I had greater plans and ideas to deal with.
Elsewhere...
A dark land, filled with odd, winged insects roamed as drones for a queen. Descending below the dreaded surface, led to a cave, dripping water every-other second. Another odd insect, much larger to the others sat upon a stone, throne-like seat. Greeny-blue flames lit the chamber, as the mighty insect, the Queen perhaps, bore her lusting snake-eyes into a puddle where the water was collecting. The drips of water showed a new image, like a radar, tracking an aircraft. Images of the Mane 6, and another, odd being, and monkey almost. The queen bared no more to watch, shouting in some sort of insect hiss. The fires went out, and sinister laughters were echoed.
