The story is about a human who loses his parents to a fire that was set by an unknown arsonist. An strange entity drags him to Equestria when he is about to end it all, and he is immediately distrusted by the ponies there. Discord has risen for his third time in the pony universe, and instead of affecting just the mane 6, he is affecting everypony. Due to this, the ponies are unnaturally hostile, and the human has to flee for his life. With only a sword to help him, and later on a single pony, he tries to figure out how he can get home without being killed. If he wants to go back at all.
