Chapters Getting Used To It All
The sun set over Sweet Apple Acres in a slow fashion signifying that the day was coming to a close. Exhausted from the days work of apple bucking, Garry puts the last apples in to there respected bins inside the barn. With the last efforts he counted all the apples that he collected. Two hundred fifty-two apples in total. He records this on ledger that Apple Jack has given him three days ago. Sweat protrudes from his forehead and start to soak into the plain work outfit that Rarity made for him. Great.. Garry thought sarcastically. It puzzled him why Rarity would make a posh work clothes for him if they were just going to be mucked up from working on the farm. He would probably never figure the logic behind that pony. Garry laughs a bit from the thought when he puts the final digits in. He couldn't believe that its only been a couple of months since he was "summoned" here to Equestria. He also quite surprised, even flattered, that the unicorn that brought him here was very interested in seeing a human for the first time. But that quickly wore off when he realized that all the questions about were he came from, what he ate on a daily basis, why humans were clothes and many other questions were only research about interdenominational species for the ruler here. At first it insulted Garry that he was just a lab rat for Twilight, but later he got used to the many quirks that Twilight and her friends gave to the table. As he finished up with his last chore for the day, he heard the hoof steps coming closer to the barn.
"OOHH Wee! What a hall Garry, I never seen ya buck so many apples in mah life! Good work" says Applejack in her southern accent. Garry looks over his shoulder to see the orange earth pony leaning against the barn door, crossing her legs as she peers at him with a smile on her face.
"No problem Applejack," Garry turns around to face Applejack, "And thank you for letting me work here, its kinda hard to find work here when everybody here either runs away from you or gawks at you tell you become deaf." Applejack closes her eyes and nods at Garry.
"Aww shoot sugar cube you don't have to thank me, any friend of Twilight is a friend of mine. As for the other ponies around these parts, just give em time they'll warm right up to ya, ain't nothin to worry about." Applejack said. She gave a reassuring smile at Garry. He just gave a weak smile in response. With that, Garry pack up the rest and walked out of the barn towards the library in Ponyville. "Hope Twi doesn't ding you too bad ta night Garry!" she shouted and waved at Garry as he departed. Garry knew what Applejack was talking about, and he knew that the questions were just going to continue to build on top each other for Twilight's "research on interdenominational species." He didn't mind the constant questions about were he live, what were humans like, can humans use magic. He was glad that this pony was actually willing to have a conversation to Garry, regardless it was only one side at times. This was just a small complaint Garry had for Twilight, but he never imposed on the lavender colored unicorn. Along with that, Garry thought it would be rude to do such a thing, minding himself that he is a guest at Twilight's home.
As he walk, he look up the sky. He could see the orange hue of sun down making the sky as beautiful as Earth's sunsets. A small grin appears on Garry's face as he look at the sky, but it was short lived as the trip from Sweet Apple Acres to Ponyville was only about a six minute walk. Garry didn't pay good attention were he was going and accidentally trip over a rock and fell on his face, ripping the white work shirt custom made by Rarity.
"Son of a..." Garry started to curse to himself, but fell short on the word he was looking for. This was strange for Garry for it wasn't the fact that he cared what came out of his mouth, but the fact that he was having trouble conjuring the word he wanted to use to complete his sentience. It was as if it was erased from his mind. Garry shrug off the thought and assets the damage of his work shirt. He was now a dark brown color with a huge torn mark across the collar and along the left sleeve. Garry look up at the sky, it still wasn't dark yet. Maybe Rarity could patch it up before he goes to the Golden Oak Library. He pick himself up and brush some of the dirt off his clothes and started to walk to the Carousel Boutique.
It seem to Garry that it only took only mere seconds to find were Rarity lived. Garry faintly remember were the Boutique, passing it sometimes using different routes to get to Sweet Apple Acres. The tall pink building with a fancy pony sign always put Garry in an unconformable state. He knew the place made fine designer clothing for all the equines here, but he could get past the choose of color. He just shook his head a bit and knock on the door. He still didn't get used to the fact that all the doors seem only at chest height to him
"Come in, Ill be right done help you," chimed a sweet melodic voice from the boutique. He open the door, ducking a bit as we made his way inside. The bell chimed as he walk in. Inside was welcoming with bright and vivid colors. He heard the sound of hooves coming down the stairs. There he could see the white coat unicorn with purple hair walking down the stairs with grace. "Welcome to the Carousel Boutique, where every garment is she- Oh Garry its you darling!" Rarity cut off her normal slogan for her customers, "What can i do- OH MY, YOUR SHIRT!" She exclaimed at the condition his shirt she made for the human.
"Yeah I needed-," Garry started but was immediately cut off by the white unicorn.
"Ill get that fixed right away!" Rarity used her magic to grab a hold of Garry's shirt and merely slid it over his head before he could protest, leaving him bare chested. Garry felt slightly awkward about unicorns and there levitation spells. It felt as if a cold tingly sensation every time Twilight used the spell on Garry when she look at something physical on Garry, and Rarity's version of the spell felt no different. Rarity used her horn to get some white thread and a needle to stitch up the torn parts of the shirt. Garry was impressed with the unicorn's speed and talent with fixing the shirt she made for him. Not only was she quick, but her talent to sew up the tears making it look as if was brand new.
Rarity didn't stop there, no she went the extra mile and used a spell that was unfamiliar to Garry. Rarity's horn glowed a little brighter for a short second and his short made a bright flash. This slightly blinded Garry for he was not expecting this to happen. In fact it made him jump a bit from the sudden flash. When he could see again, the dirt from his shirt was no more. It was spotless like the day he received the gift from Rarity only a couple of days ago.
"There we are," chimed Rarity as she levitated it Garry.
"Thanks," Garry said to the Rarity, "You really didn't need to do... what ever you just did to clean my work shirt."
"Oh but course I do Garry, nopo-nobody," corrected Rarity, "needs to walk around in filthy clothes. Its a crime against fashion and dignity!" Garry just rolled his eyes. He heard from Twilight that Rarity, one of her best friends, was a dramatic type. Stories in which did not give proper credit for.
"I don't thinks it's a crime against fashion when it's just a work shirt Rarity," Garry slightly joked at Rarity.
"Hmmph!" she pouted, looking away from Garry. The type of reaction you get from a high standard girl. She knew he was only joking, sense he first came here, the two of them always argued about fashion. Garry always seemed to be on the losing side for his sense of fashion was simple at best, but he didn't for it always made that unicorn spout on and on about some designer he never heard of. He always did this as just a friendly gesture to the mare. Garry put on his pack down and put on his repaired work short that felt silky to the touch.
"So how much do I owe you?" Garry said as he started to look inside his pack for some of bits.
Rarity look back at Garry with a slight shocked look, "Oh don't worry about darling its the least I could do." She humbly said with a hoof on her chest. Garry look confused for he never like being in debt to anybody, or anypony in his case. But he thank her for the kind gesture and gave her a goodbye.
"Bye Gear Bear, tell Twilight not to interrogate you to hard tonight!" She said waving goodbye to Garry. He just nodded and wave back at her as he started to head to the Golden Oak Library. Garry knew that as soon as he returned to his oak home that the lavender unicorn will great him with the usually questions of his day, fueling her, "research" on him. He didn't mind, intact he looked forward to it. He always find it easier to go to bed when had his almost daily interview with his lavender friend.
The road from the boutique to the library was not a long walk at all. It seem the distance from any point to another point was always shorter than what Garry imagines. He figured that ponies who are about three feet tall making road for their feet as no difficulty for an average stride distance of a six foot human. It was nice. He could see from the distance that the lights library were on, implying to Garry that Twilight and her assistant were home. Garry couldn't remember her assistance name, he could only remember that he was a baby dragon. He had an irrational fear of dragons when he was little and still persisted to this day. However that rear was put to ease when he realized that the said dragon was only just a little guy and harmless. He walk up to the main door and opened it, kneeling down to fit in. There he drag himself to the couch specifically design for him. He then put his pack on one of the arms and laid down, staring at the wooden roof. How could a hollow tree live with all of this stuff inside of it? Garry thought to himself. Before he could ponder any further, he heard the sound of hooves coming down the stairs.
"Garry? Is that you?" Twilight said curiously to the figure that occupied the large couch in the corner of the ground floor. Twilight saw only of an arm giving a thumbs up signifying that it was indeed Garry. Thus began the flurry of questions from from the brilliant mare for tonight.

Questions and Answers (Revised)
Garry and Twilight both sat opposite of each other. Twilight was levitating some books and looking over her "research" on humans. She shuffled some quills and a parchment over with a couple of check boxes with some alien writing unknown to Garry. When she got everything ready for Garry, she started to ask the questions.
"So Garry how wa-" Twilight began.
"It was fine working with Applejack; no I didn't gain any muscle mass; yes the walk was short, the same distance as yesterday and the day before that; no I still cant use any magic; no I still can't fly in anyway shape or form; no I didn't get taller; and yes I still think this is physically impossible to be here with you and your friends. Did I answer all of your questions Ms. Sparkle?" Garry winked at Twilight.
"H-hey! you don't know what I'm going to ask you! That's cheating!" Twilight pouted in protested.
Garry just gave her a smirk, "Well were you going to ask me something different?" Twilight gave him a disbelieved look, trying hard to thinking something, anything to counteract his argument. When she could not think of a single one, she just growled a bit under her breath. Garry knew he was right. She made a series of checks on a scroll.
"Okay then," Twilight continued, "On a scale between one and ten, how do you feel about the weather?"
Garry tap his chin, think about this question. Is this a trick question? "Um, I say... an average five?"
Twilight once again she wrote something down on her clipboard. He look up again at Garry. "So have you made any friends while your stay here?"
"Friends?" He ask. He tap his chin again looking at the ceiling. Do I have any friends here? Garry thought. Truth be told his five months here, he really didn't socialize with the other ponies. He tried once, but the result was just them fleeing or just gawking about. The only friend he could think of was Applejack. But he wouldn't just go out and have a beer with her just yet. He still didn't really got used of the idea of multi colored sentient ponies.
"No, not really." Garry finally look back at Twilight.
"Well that's everything I guess," she said with a disappointing tone. Garry knew that she was upset about how well her research is doing. He wanted to ask, but didn't know if it would ruin the results she was oh so desperately aiming for. However, this didn't matter for Garry. Ever since he came to this wonderful, but odd place, he started to become a bit more warm hearted in his ways.
"Twilight, I'm sorry its been a long day for me," Garry said while getting up from his coach to a more of a proper sitting position to be face her.
"Right I forgot about how you say on earth the rotation of your planet is more faster then our own," Twilight said in a matter of fact tone she got up and started to pace around the room continuing her statement, "Ive figured that the ratio between Equestrian hours to Earthain hours must be three to one."
"THREE TO ONE?!?" Garry shouted surprisingly as he fell back onto the couch. Twilight jump a bit from the random outburst she just witness.
Good bye normal sleep cycles, hello insomnia. He thought sarcastically.
"Is this another way of humans expressing stress?" Twilight said excitingly as she rushed over toward Garry, quill and parchment ready to gather more important detail. Garry decided to give some new data for Twilight. He heard how excited she gotten when he realized that he will most likely never get his normal sleep cycles back. But that didn't matter to Garry, how often does a human get to be a part of history in the making. That is, if the higher uppers of Canterlot decide to take this research seriously from what he could gather from Twilight about the matter..
Garry responded with a groan, along with a comical thumbs up for Twilight. At this point Garry heard something for the first time in a long time, Twilight's laughter. He lifted his hands from his face, peeking under its shadow. He could see that Twilight is indeed laughing, but not just in rude way, but in a friendly way. Something happen inside Garry when he saw the unicorn like this, it felt warm and fuzzy in his stomach. Could he have some romantic feeling for Twilight? No! He immediately dismiss the thought. But the feeling persisted in his gut just seeing Twilight laugh like that.
Nope. Stomach, stop it. Stop it! He thought. Grabbing his shirt.
But alas, the feelings did not disobeyed Garry's command. Instead Garry just stop and enjoyed the view, giving the great debate in his head in his a short recess. Twilight stop her laughing and caught Garry looking at her in a way that she didn't even know the look.
"Ahh Garry you ok?"
"Oh what, y-yeah sorry about that Twilight," Garry reassuring her. "Hey where is dragon fellow, friend, assistant, boy, drake..." Garry comically named off all the adjectives for Twilights assistant
"Spike?" Twilight said flatly. Obviously not amused with Garrys strange antics.
"Lizard, son, turtle, guy..okay okay! Spike, where is he?" Garry jumped to a defensive tone. He was being under the threat of two lavender dagger eyes, glaring his path.
"He's helping Rarity with a 'project,' of what that means, I don't have a clue." She transferred her glare into a simple nod.
"Alrighty then," Garry yawned stretching his arms,"Good to know that Spike is not gonna try to poke at me in the night."
Twilight giggled again, "Oh is he still doing that, im sorry he is very curious about you. You really shouldn't blame him"
"Yeah, you should really put a lid on it, i might actually smack him and might cause him to burn this entire place down. "
Twilight just rolled her eyes, "well than if that's everything then I'll let you get some sleep tonight," Twilight said. She started to organize her quill and parchment into a book that had a symbol what look like a human. Garry sat up a bit and look over to Twilight. He could see the pony making more notes with the scratching of her quill. Her body was smaller then his only about three feet tall maybe, but it amazes Garry that they look so soft like a rabbit. But Garry got this feeling again in his gut. He could suddenly feel he became a little warmer under his shirt. That's when he saw her rump. Her very sexy rump. Oh how lovely it look to Garry. Not seen much of any human around ladies, his mind started to wonder on the most odd of ways. Thinking of these mares in such a manner. But his train of thought about the subject of rumps didn't last long, for his rational side of his brain rejected any further thought of even such a thing.
Regardless of what he thought, it was hot and he needed to take off his shirt. He tuck away his work shirt into his backpack under the coach. He laid his head down a began to drift to sleep. His back exposed slightly. The unicorn was about to go to bed when, again she got another golden opportunity to get some valuable research for humans. She saw something odd on Garry's back as he was trying to get situated in his sleeping quarters. To her it look like a cutie mark, but to Garry it was something much, much more. Twilight could help herself so she investigated this strange cutie mark for a human. She sneak down the stairs and approach Garry. Twilight could hear that he was already fast asleep. Garry masked her approaching hoof steps with his loud bear like snoring.
"Pegasi wings cutie mark? But humans can't fly, nor it is not on his flank," Twilight observed quietly at Garry's back, "And I didn't know humans snore like hibernating bears, hmmmm" This spike her curiosity to the fullest. Unfortunately it will have to wait for tomorrow it was getting late for Twilight. She noticed that Garry was just sleeping without a blanket. So she went upstairs to her room and brought down a spare winter blanket that her parents given her last year. She used her magic to put it over Garry's body and tucked him in like she does to Spike when he passes out from a hard days work. She smiled a bit from the thought of Spike. She quietly went upstairs to her room and fell asleep.
Garry awoke in his room. He yawned and look around the room, remembering his strange dream of how he was somehow in a place there was talking ponies. He chuckled at the strange thought of it. He rose from his bed, ready to meet the day head on. There was only one small problem, Garry noticed that his room was off, he could not quite figure it out, but something was indeed off about how his room was laid out in front of him. Something was definitely odd about this day.
Garry heard a sound from his leaving room. He open to door to investigate, There he found what was different about his home. The lights. The lights were no lights, but instead lit torches guiding towards the living room. A creepy feeling ran up Garrys spine.
He called out. "Hello, Franky you around man?" the only response the house gave back was silence. He ventured out into this living room, investigating what appeared to be sounds of a draft coming in. What he found was not a draft, but a shadowy figure sitting away. Garry was frighten by the sight, he knew this creature from somewhere, but he could not place it. The air around him seem cold and there was an unnatural aura radiating from the thing in Garry's house.
"Excuse me sir d-do I know you?" Garry said with some fright in his voice. The figure didn't move normal. No it moved like a shadow serpent, sliding across the walls Garry could see its face. White soulless eyes peered through Garry's soul. It features looked strikingly like Garry.
"Indeed Garry you do know who I am," the demon shadow purred as it crawled to another wall to continually stare at Garry's as if it was searching for a chink in his armor. Garry was frozen by the sight and sound of this thing. It can't be real, it has to be a bad dream of some kind.
"Ok Garry wake up wake up, this isn't real this isn't real," he said closing his eyes pretending this frightening thing was not there.
"Tsk Tsk Garry you know that won't help." Garry felt an icy touch on his shoulder. He could feel it crawling all over his skin, coiling around his body. Then he was forced to open his eyes again. There he was face to face with this shadow demon. Its eyes were lock with Garry's. "Look," it began, placing a hand on top of where Garry's heart was pounding like a bass drum. "This feels familiar, oh but I can't figure out why?" The demon playfully said as Garry was in terror of the monster that has him coiled up. "Ahh yes, now I remember." Wrath exploded in the demons eyes. His hand phased violently through Garry's chest and into his heart. In that moment Garry's muscles stop functioning, but the demon helm in a standing position The pain was unbearable. Garry could feel the demon having a grasp hold of his heart squeezing and fondling it like a firm breast.
"This is mine, you know, but then it again its ours as well, both of ours Garry, yours and mine," It said purring into Garry's ear. The sheer pain in his chest ignored the demon taunted to him. He felt he was about to pass out. This displeased the demon, know that his little toy was about to expire on it.
"This will wake you up my little Garry," it scolded Garry as it took his heart and gave it a hard squeeze sending a jolt of unimaginable pain through Garry's body and and held his head firm, "Know this Garry, you will never escape me, never will, no matter how hard or how far you travel. I will always find my way." With that the demon squeezed on Garry's heart to the point to where it exploded.
Garry Woke from his horrible dream, gasping for air as if his lungs were cut off. He panting with a cold sweat rolled from his forehead. "J-just a-a dream?" Garry look around, it differently was the Golden Oak Library. Garry breath a sigh of relief. Just a dream. Garry couldn't get back to sleep for had rested his full earth sleep cycle. But it was only eleven at night. Still Garry was not used to lingers days and night. Frustrated he got a simple red tee shirt that he was wearing when he arrived here. He went to the nearest window to see the night. It was a cloudless night, filled with beautiful stars and a full bright moon illuminating the dark landscape outside of his temporary home. A perfect night for a stroll. He knew exactly a place where he wanted to go for a night like this.
He grabbed his pack and went out the door. The air was cool, but not freezing. The bright moon lit up the path of were he needed to go. Right towards the local pond. Ever since Garry could remember, when ever he felt trouble or stress about anything, he could go to the local park and watch the water. If possible he preceded to be alone when he goes on the journey. When he got there his wish was granted. He walk over to the edge of a pond. The water reflected as a perfect mirror. Within the reflection, he could see himself as clear as ever. He could see that his dream he had still troubled him oh so much. People and ponies alike say that the eyes are the doorway to the soul. But, looking into his own eyes, he found it difficult to seek his own soul. He sighed and continued to survey the pond for a while. He heard something flapping behind him and turned around. There he saw a dark purple-blue pony bestow his presence. But this was a strange pony to Garry, for it looks as if it was a unicorn, and a pegasus. He could tell it was a more by her body type. She was about his chest height. Her mane was translucent, but had a slight tint to it, waving so gracefully. Her cutie mark was of an eclipsed moon. Garry knew she had to be important for it was wearing some formal crown on her head.
"What hath Garry, the human of Equestria doing out on my brightest night?" the unique pony spoke to Garry as she tucked her wings to her side.
"Umm...just sitting here an-wait how did you know my name?" Garry questioned the dark pony.
"The Princess of the Night knows many things of her guests and subjects, here and out there," She she gestured her hoof with a formal horse shoe to the stars.
"Princess?" Garry tilted his head. Then it click, he knew who this mare is. "I seen you before, your," He paused to think of her name
"Princes Luna fare Garry of Earth," Luna introduce herself to Garry in a authority voice. Thats when the Garry knew of were he has seen her before. Twilight showed a picture of her in a book she was reading to him about the rulers of Equestria.
"P-princess Luna! I didn't, I should've, I mean I didn't," Garry fumbled on his words when he jump to his feet at the sight of Luna, trying hard to give her the the courtesy she deserves.
"No needeth to give we the royal courtesy, Sir Garry," she shook her head at him, "And please just call me Luna." Her voice started to shift from being harsh and authoritative to a more gentle and sweet, "Come Sir Garry, let us walk this fare night."
Garry relaxed a bit, knowing that he wasn't going to be punish for such a crime of disrespecting royalty. He knew from earth that Kings, Queens, and Nobles are treated to the utmost respect. Any sign of disrespect would surely only end badly. He walked with the Night Princess. He asked her about things of Equestria such as what she is and how things work; she ask him about many things about earth such as the the moon cycles of the earth.
"How doeseth the moon rise on its own, surely you must have some powerful human controlling the moon and the night?" Luna tilted her head as she ask him. He shook his head, explaining to Luna about Earth's Moon
"No princ- Luna, we don't have magic there, their is nobody with magic controlling the moon. I-in fact there is no magic whatsoever. The only magic is there is the magic of physics!" Garry tried to joke with Luna only with the same result of trying to joke with Twilight. Garry coughed and change the subject to not try to make this awkward for both parties. "The sky here is beautiful, more beautiful than the clearest sky back home," Garry said looking at the night sky.
"Thank you Sir Garry, not many ponies, excuse me people, take enjoyment of my nights," she smiled a bit from the comment, taking in the sight of her sky. Garry nodded. The two of them have been walking for sometime, exchanging information from each others lives. Then Garry noticed that the alicorn seem nervous, like a child can't really ask for there toy until the parents says something.
"Hey Luna, you seem a little nervous are you alright?" he said still walking along the paths of Ponyville. She stop in her tracks. Garry knew something wasn't right just when me just stop.
"Sir Garry, as Princess of the Night it is my sworn duty to protect my subjects from any threats of the night," she had a look of guilt, "One of those duties is to act as a shield from nightmares."
"Shield for nightmares?" Garry repeated confusingly.
"Yes," she replied to Garry.
"But why would you need to protect ponies from nightmares, yes there terrifying but it can't harm anyone, right?" Garry tried reasoned.
Luna shook her head, "There is an entity that tries to bring my subjects worst nightmares to life, I have seen its destructive ways and it must not let it happen again," she said in a sincere tone.
Garry put his hand on his chin in a thinking position, "So can this entity you speak of, has it done terrible things before?"
Luna looked away in shame, "Many of my subjects have suffered for my weakness over a thousand years ago. I let it take over me, consumed by jealousy and hatred for my sisters sun," she look back at Garry, "Has Twilight mentioned to you about Night Mare Moon?"
Garry scratch his head trying to remember, "I think so, wait, you don't mean you..?" Garry started to remeber and paused to see if he was right. Luna only nodded in response
"It was this entity that plagues ponies mind, but thats not what concerns me Sir Garry."
"Oh then what," asked Garry.
"I can see my subjects dream, including yours. What I see in your dream land is more, frightening, than I have seen in over a thousand years." Luna shivered a bit at the thought. She began to walk again towards the path the was laid in front of them. Garry followed. This was unnerving for Garry. From what he gathered, this darkness is the prime reason she was banished Luna to the moon when she was Night Mare Moon. But to hear something more frightening than that, and mostly likely here in Equestria was indeed an unpleasant thought for the both of them. However thats wasn't on top of Garry's concerns when it comes to Luna power.
"You-you can see into people's dream?" Garry panicked. He knew his secret was revealed.
"Sir Garry," Luna stared at Garry, knowing what he was asking, "You should feel not ashamed of what you wish to have. This concept is not new to me. Love comes in many forms. Your love of Twilight may be a bit, physical "
Garry blushed. "I-I don't dream those things!" Garry was shaken with embarrassment, "Twilight is just a friend to me, w-why would I..?"
"Many of my subject hide their true feelings from themselves in their dreams, thou should not feel embarrassed to have strong feelings for the student of my sister," she gave a heart warm smiled. Garry look away, knowing that his secret about his desires and feeling of Twilight were exposed to a higher authority. Will he be arrested? Will he be banished? Garry's face filled with dread. "Fear not Sir Garry," Luna walk over next to him, "As far is the laws of Equastria is concerned, you are not breaking any of them. "
The two of them were back to the Golden Oak Library. It was in the same state as he left it. Good. Twilight will never know that he was out and about in the middle of the night.
"Well I must be off, but before I go, take this," Luna open one of her wings to take out a small black bag. She grabbed it with your magic and levitated towards Garry. The bag drop into Garry's awaiting hands.
"What's this?" Garry inspected the bag, it felt light and it seems there were some kind of seeds. A sent of spearmint and vanilla protruded from the small black bag.
"My herb specialist calls thee 'Sleepabeans,' they should help you extend thous sleeps cycles," Luna pointed with her hoof at the bag as she explained. Garry thank Luna and wish to repay her in some way. She smiled at Garry. "Fare Garry of Earth, thou must not need to repay in bits, no, we only wish that you treat your mare friend well." Garry blushed at the sound of 'mare friend.'
"She's not my mare friend!" Garry protested a with a slight louder tone. Luna giggled a bit.
"Thou must not suppress ones such feelings, no matter what creature, remeber that fare Garry," Luna said with a straight voice, I must be off, it is late and you need your rest, farewell Sir Garry." With that she used her magic to teleport out of the scene with in a flash. Garry was stunned that magic like that can just make anybody disappear. He went back inside. It was dark, even for the illumination of the moon. He was watchful to not trip over his own feet. He laid down and took one bean. It tasted bitter like coffee, but it was easy to swallow. It only took a couple of minutes before we start to drift into a deep, deep sleep.
Garry sat comfortably in his seat at the movie theaters. It was dark with the smell of buttery popcorn, though no such popcorn can be seen. He was the only one there. He knew this place well. This was the Rusty Mike Theatre, just down the street where he lived. He sat there anxiously to see the featured film. He heard a poof sound and there was Princess Luna sitting next to him. Garry almost jump out of his seat at the sight of the Princess.
"Luna! How did you get out of Equestria? W-what happens if..." He look around and his senses revealed that there was indeed something off. First, there was always people here at the Rusty Mike. Second, he check his pockets to see if he had a ticket for the show. There was nothing. Then me check his neck. That's when he knew, he was wearing his mothers amulet when she died. He never wore the thing expect for one occasion.
He was dreaming.
He glanced over to her, "I am in a dream aren't I?" The princess nodded to confirm that he was indeed inside a dream. "Well at least this a free show," he joke to himself.
"Indeed this will be a fine show, care if I watch your life with you?" The night princess asked.
"Watch my life?" questioned Garry.
"You don't know what thy place is?" She look at him dumbfounded. He just shook his head. "This is what we call a 'Memory Show.' She said looking back at the grainy screen. A lightbulb lent off at Garry. He had a similar dream some time ago before coming to the equine land. Some night he would be a place were his memories were played in his dream, like an actual movie.
He smiled as he got comfy in his chair, "be my guest Luna, I never had someone else, or in this case, somepony else inside my head watching it with me," Garry cheered. With that, the light began to dim. A film projector came to life. The movie just started with Garry sitting in his office chair at home. He look quite comfortable on this seat. His memory showed him slowly dematerialize with a look of horror on Garry's face. He remembered when he was "summoned" here. The great pain he endured when jumping dimensions. Garry shift uncomfortably in his seat at the memory.
Luna noticed his discomfort and was about to reach out a reassuring hoof when she noticed from the corner of her eye. The next scene in Garry's memory show came into view. The two audience members watch as they see Garry on the screen falling after materializing in mid air. He fell towards the ground heading straight for the Everfree Forest. Garry on screen screamed loudly as he fell. Luna look away but peek under her hoof. Before Garry fell to his death. He saw a flash of light and was great by the ground. Luckily for him, Twilight was there to stop his fall. Garry remembered this well, and he got to see this in full detail. They both saw Garry on screen in absolute terror and shock that he passed out. What happen next intrigued Garry. He knew he passed out after seeing equines talk, but he did not remembered this.
After he passed out, Twilight look a bit nervous, she looked guilty about possibly killing what she practiced so hard trying to summon. Twilight consulted with her five pony friends.
"Oh what do I do, the princess is going to be so furious with me!" Twilight panics as she pranced in place, "What if she banishes me for murder of a sentient creature, or what if there is a worse punishment for murder, Oh this is never happen before, what if-"
"Whoa, relax egg head," said a cyan pegasus floating just above Twilight, "I think it just passed out ya know? Say, anypony want to make sure thou?" said the pony with a devilish smile.
"Well, don't look at moi! It's looks revolting!" explained the pale unicorn, "Fluttershy you're an expert with animals, you should make sures out cold?"
"Did you see the look on his face? I bet he is so happy to see us he just fell asleep!" Said a bright pink pony bouncing up and down with a dopey smile on its face.
"Pinkie, I don't think this, 'thing ,' is happy at all with us" said the orange pony in a flat tone, "Fluttershy, can ye tell if its alive?"
The yellow pegasus was hiding behind it's crowd of friends, "Um, I-It's fine, can we just go home and send it back... please?"
"No! I can't that spell was a one way connection, it will takes years to get it to reverse the polarity," protested Twilight. When Garry heard those words left Twilight mouth, he sank into his seat. He felt as if a thousand pounds of weight was put on his shoulders.
"...Years...?" he said in a hopeless tone. He was about to get out from his seat and walk out when Luna used her magic to grab his arm.
"There is more to this tale then the listeners can bear," she riddled to Garry.
"What else is there to see?" responded Garry in a low tone. He look back to the silver screen just to humor the Luna. He could believe his ears and eyes. But alas, there it was.
"Twilight what you doin' its an animal! It needs to go to the vet!" the orange pony yelled as Twilight used her horn to levitate Garrys unconscious body on to her back, struggling to walk towards what seems to Garry as Ponyville.
"Its not an it," she growled angrily at her friends, "He is a sentient being, a being that has feelings and most likely scared and confused, he doesn't need a vet, he needs me!" Twilight groaned under her breath loudly. One by one the five other ponies started to help Twilight back to her. With that, the curtains close on the screen and the projectors dies. Garry sat in his seat utterly confused what he just witnessed. Luna saw this expression on his face and enlighten him.
"Not only do you care for Twilight Sir Garry, but the feeling seems mutual," she said getting up to walk out the door, "remember Garry, never hide your true feelings no matter what they are. Oh and I Almost forgot, have a nice day." her horn glew and teleported out of Garry's dream before he could ask what she meant.
"G-Garry? You ok?" Said an echoing voice through the theatre he thought he recognized. He felt everything start to rock back and forth, losing his balance. Before he knew what was going on, everything started to fade black. He then was awoken by a familiar scent of new books and a warm hoof on his back.
Breaking Barriers (Revised)
"Garry," Twilight poked at the creature stirring on an oversized coach, "Garry, Garry wake up," said the unicorn, pushing the human with both of her front hooves now.
Garry groaned as he turned to face the thing responsible disturbing his sleep, "W-wha, Twilight, what's up?" Garry turned over to meet with her. His eyes adjusted to see the mare of his dreams, literally.
"Im sorry to wake you, but I really, really, need your help." Twilight look at Garry with a small hint of a puppy eye look.
Garry rolled over to the side to face Twilight, just at the left side of the coaches edge, there he saw a glimpse of the window and the grandfather clock. It was only about fifteen after nine in the morning. This was the normal time Garry would have been out and about with his daily lives. But, even with the Sleepabeans to help with the adjustment to the equine world, he still felt so tired. As if his life force was sapped out of him during the night.
Most of tossed and turned all night long.
After the quick glance he met with the unicorn that awoken his deep slumber, her face told of a dire need of assistance of some kind, most likely another strange experiment to be catalog into Twilight's book.
"Hmmm..sure...what do you need Twilight," Garry said with a flat tone, almost robotic. He thought he made the response, "Leave me alone Twilight, can't this wait later, " in his mind, but for some strange reason the processes of thought transcribed into the correct speech was altered from its original state. He knew this kind of phenomenon happened before a couple of days prier.
Twilight gleed in excitement, bounce up and down a bit before she galloped away to a shelf that contain a parchment. She used her magic to lift it of the shelf, Garry watching while slowly getting to his feet. Thank god he still wore the clothes from last night, for usually he would have been, exposed to Twilight, and not in the good way.
"Ok Garry," Twilight galloped back to Garry, "tell me what you see?" Using her magic, she thrusted a scroll of the alien scripture almost hitting him with strong force. He jump a bit at the velocity of the scroll. Twilight saw this reaction and immediately apologized, explaining she may have made a breakthrough.
Garry accepted the apology with quick haste. He grabbed the scroll into his hands, examining it for a short moment before giving his answer to Twilight, "I see doodles and scribbles lines."
"And you don't understand any of this?" Twilight said, using her magic to grab something else of the bookshelf of what appeared to be some kind of glasses and a clip board.
"If I was a kid, maybe I could work my decipher magic on it," Garry joked. Twilight tilted her head, still didn't understand the concept of human joking behavior. Garry give a sly look, "That was a joke Twilight." The unicorn just shook her head, obviously not amused by his alien humor.
Okay, now Garry, can you please be very still for juuuuuuusst a moment please?" Twilight put on a slight concentrated face, looking intently. The glass had a lavender magical aura around them, making there way to Garry's face. He trusted Twilight. From the day he was her he had this great feeling of trust along with a string of other emotions towards her.
"Glasses Twilight? Last time I check my vision was perfect," Garry protested, trying to push the glasses away from him
Twilight move the glasses away from Garry's reach, "No no, this isn't for you eye sight, well it is and it [isn't, oh just put them on!" Twilight argued with a small hint of frustration.
Garry didn't want to upset her further. So he just shrugged. Twilight then put the glasses on Garry. For a second they seem to fit, but the started to slide down his face. Twilight giggled a bit at the sight. Garry's heart started to melt at the lovely melody of Twilight giggling.
"Hold on just let me just....there we go!" Twilight said sticking her tongue out in concentration, adjusting the glasses tell the fit perfectly for Garry. "Now Garry, what do you see now?" She said levitating a scroll over to Garry. At first he just say the scribbles and symbol on the page.
"Still the same Twi-" Garry started but was cut off as what he saw amazed him. Through the glasses he saw the scribbles and symbols shift and dance until the started to resemble English characters. His mouth gaped, completely a loss for words. "Twilight, I...I.." He tried to say but was too dumbfounded to say it. He took of his glasses and rub his eyes to make sure that this was indeed a real deal.. Meanwhile Twilight gleed at the result of Garrys response to her enchanted glasses she work on for a while.
"Well what do you see?" Twilight tried to hide her excitement, knowing the answer already, but she wanted to hear him say instead just reading his expression as the need result of her hard work.
Garry put on the glasses again and read what was on the scroll, "Magic is the energy conversion from potential magnetic energy into a chosen mental image of the arcane spell. Such arcane tomes must be studied prior to casting to prevent any injury of the spellcasters his or her horn."
Twilight squealed in pure joy, dropping everything from her levitation spell, jumping up and down, "ohmygpshohmygosh! I did it, I actually broke the communicational interdimensional alien written language!" While she was overwhelmed with over amounts of joy, Garry took off the glasses and just passively watch Twilight celebrate with her milestone.
"You're something else Twi,"
Garry thought to himself, happy for Twilight. He knew that many of the other ponies around these part valued Twilight as a major part of the community here in Ponyville, but Garry sometimes overheard other stallions when he was just walking around town that nopony would ever even want to have a court her. Saying aweful things like, "Her geek levels would make it boring," or "She would probably just suffocate me with theories about Time and Space." This made him think of a way to take the advice from Luna, while at the same time see if Twilight truly had some sort of any feelings beside an "dimensional experiment " for Garry.
"Hey Twi-" Garry started, but he was caught of guard when suddenly the over joyed Twilight suddenly leap into Garry, giving a huge heart friendly hug.
"Oh Thank you Garry, thank you thank you!"
"Whaa!" Garry jump a bit from the surprise hug, heat flushing his face. Twilight didn't even noticed.
"Thank you Thank you Thank you!" Twilight almost shouted in the top of her voice. Without the chance of Garry saying anything, she gasp. "Oh," she let go of Garry landing on he hoof with a simple thud . "I have to put this down in my notes!" she exclaimed, almost like she was trying to remind her self.
With that Twilight quickly galloped up the stairs to her room. Garry heard the door slammed shut. Garry thought to himself as he pick up his backpack and some bits. The more he thought about the situation the more that he came to realized three basics facts about the whole situation here in Equestria. One. He was in a place filled with multicolored ponies that treated him with as an stranger in a town, but was welcomed with open arms compared to his old life. Two. He was stuck here for the time being and most likely he will never go back home. Not going to have the chance to find a women, meet with friends, and go out on the town once in awhile with said friends. And lastly Three. Taking in consideration of fact one and two along with the fact this place is better then home, he came to the last fact about this whole ordeal. He, Garry Angel, without a shadow of a doubt in his mind, find Twilight Sparkle an alien from another dimension, to be completely and utterly head over heels for her.
Alone with his thoughts while Twilight was up stairs most likely filling out her unpublished about him.
....no...no...no, no, no, No, No NO!!
Garry thought to himself. No. No way, not possible that he even debating, let alone eben have a normal thought about this. He was going to have none of this. He started to pace around the library, trying desperately to close the flood gate of emotions and thoughts.
She's nice and caring for you. She let you, an outside, an alien of all thing to stay with her.
True, Twilight could have let you their on the outskirts of this place, most likely put in a lab to be experiments on him. He stop and shuttered at the thought being poke and prodded by the scientist ponies. Running test and writing down the results. Most likely put im in a white room with a bed to small and a toilet to size to small. It kinda reminded him on his current situation, but compared to the latter one in his mind, he was was at a five star hotel. Service with a smile!
Frustrated ,he grunted loudly. Putting a hand over his face. "How...how can but this sleeping dog to rest?'" he groaned. Hey went back his coach and pondered some more. Then an idea pop in his head. "Wine," he said out loud, "I'm stressed. Shes stressed. Yeah, wine would definitely do the trick." He smiled to himself as his plan started to started to take shape. He could show that maybe, just maybe, they can be more than just 'experementor' and 'experimentee.' To make things even better, if his plan fails, the two being can be just friends right?
He knew where to get some wine. Plus he needed the walk. Killing two birds with one stone, he always liked it when this happens to him. He quickly change into a different set of clothes and walk out the door with his pack over his shoulder. Perhaps it was time for Garry to break more than just the communication barrier with Twilight. But he need time to prepare in order the remote chance of success. First stop, Sweet Apple Acres.
It was only two past the hour. The air was warm with a slight breeze along with a clear day. Many of the pony in Ponyville would still be on lunch break. Luck for Garry that would mean that he would not have to deal with the gawking of the other residents. He walk by a gingerbread looking house. He could never bothered with the place or half of the places the town can offer due to the fact he could not comprehend until now. Out of curiosity he put on the magic glasses Twilight gave him.
Sugar Cube Corner
Garry thought to himself that maybe he could go in for something, he was tired with carrots and salads made from Twilights assistant, plus he got a good chunk of change for what he was planning for Twilight. He walk over to the saloon like entrance, forgetting he was a giant compared to other ponies. Luckily the entrance wasn't a big hassle to shimmy through. Inside it really wasn't busy. Good, he can get something and get out. Garry then remembered that he had extra hours in theory, since he was not still used to the slower hours of the day.
"Heya Mr. Garry Berry!" A chipper voice was suddenly next to him. Garry was startled as a flash of pink filled his entire line of vision. he fell backwards land on his ass. He saw a pink mare with even brighter pink mane looking right at him with a warm smile on her face. "How is your stay here in Ponyville, no wait, how is your stay in Equestra!" she says chirps bouncing her way towards Garry, making a strange boing sound a she does so.
"How you..." Garry tried to say, but didn't get far. The pink pony dashed out of there at lighting speed, returning with a case of cupcakes.
"Cupcakes Mr. Giant?" she says to Garry.
Garry got to his feet, brushing himself off, before answering her, "Um okay...what the cost?
"Pinkie Pie's Explodey Doubly Apple Cakes are on the house!" Pinke says to Garry, bounce herself to send the box of cupcakes into the air, and surprisingly, landing perfectly into Garrys hands.
"Whoa...how..thanks, um Pinkie?" Garry was confused on my level of Pinkie Pie. For one how did she have the ground speed faster than a any sport car Garry has ever seen. Secondly how is she making that weird noise when she bouncing around him?
"Sure thing Garry Berry," She bounded in front of him looking up to him. "I hope you and Twilight enjoy them."
"Oh they look rea-wait, you made this for the both of us?" Garry ask.
"Totally! My Pinkie Senses told me that somepony was going to need them for somepony special. And here you are and..." Pinke stop, putting a hoof in front of her mouth with a look of disbelief, "You. And. Twilight?" She said each word separately. Letting the new information sink in.
Garry felt a large amount of heat reach his cheeks, "Me and her what?" Garry tried to sneak past her suspicions.
Pinkie made another dash and somehow made of sight, only to appear as if she was on top of Garry, leaning her head upside down, face to face with him. "Don't try to hide it Gerry Berry, my Pinkie Sense never lies," She said in a cheerful tone poking Garry's nose. She then did her disappearing trick and appeared next to Garry, her cheek touching his. "Also I has been around the block more then once, I can tell when a stallion has the eyes for a mare."
Garry feudal bluff was trumped by the one pony in town that has somehow a bullshit detector. He sighed in defeat, "Yes Pinke, I...I have 'eyes' for Twilight..." He admitted in defeat.
How does she do all her, well this? Garry thought to himself.
Pinkie drop from disappeared with a whoosh sound and reappeared in front of Garry. Music started to play, though there was no sign of any instruments.
"When you get the feeling, deep down your groin."
"You know just what you got to do."
"When you like your marefriend. You gotta sti-"
"PINKIE!!" Garry shouted in embarrassment, knowing where the song might lead too and with the fear of someone hearing her.
"Sorry, sometimes I get a little to carried away," She giggles and snorts at her self, music stopping in its tracks.
Just a little ah? Garry raised an eyebrow at her.
Garry look at the clock, he saw that he needed to get going, "Ah sorry Pinkie, but I really got to go, I need to get something for, um, Twilight."
"WAIT!" exclaimed Pinkie, "You you going to Sweet Apple Acres?"
Again, she hit the nail right on the head on that one Garry thought, "Um yeah how did you-"
Pinke with lighting speed, dash right past you and out the door yelling, "Come on you gonna need my help Gerry Berry!"
Garry heard what sounded like a cart being pulled. Garry decided to that with no choice he was going to have a companion on his little arend run. He was about to go out the door when he realized he was still holding the cupcakes she made for you, and supposedly, and Twilight. Garry opens hiss pack when he discovered that inside there was small books left there with a rolled up stroll with Twilight's cutie mark as a wax seal. He put on his reading glasses and walk out the door to see where Pinkie Pie went off too.
"Here is a couple of great equine literature that will hopefully help you understand our crazy little world we call home! Signed, Twilight Sparkle," Garry read out loud for Pinkie to hear. Garry could tell if she was paying attention. She just trotting along with a wagon that had the flare of Pinkie all over it.
"She gave you books? Sound like Twilight to me!" Pinkie said in an observant tone. "Well what were they Mr Giant?"
"I'm not a Giant Pinkie, I'm just Garry, nothing more, nothing less," Garry scowled at Pinkie. While looking at the three books Twilight has given him.
"But you are a giant, the biggest giant of them all."
Garry gave a heavy sigh, how would he explain to her thats hes not a giant, just a stranger from an off lands. But that would be a challenge. Garry could tell that Pinkie was an off pony. Just being around her you can tell thats shes a special kind of pony, but not that kind of special pony. But that doesn't matter. What does matter is his preparations of appreciation for his mare friend. But their was one thing that was concerning Garry, and he had to ask before it drove him crazy.
"Um Pinkie?" Garry asked. as he was flipping through the pages in one book titled 'Equine Dining'
"Yes Garry Berry?" She responded.
"Why do you want to help me with my, um, project of mine?" He said looking directly at Pinkie.
Pinkie just look at Garry with a confused face for a moment, then she gave a big grin on her face. "Because Twilight is my friend, and I want to make her happy."
"But I don't think she needs to be happier, from what I heard from her, she's wonderfully happy with just being friends with you and the others right?"
"Wrong," she said in a sing song voice
"Wrong?" Garry repeated.
"She's happy really super duper happy," she paused walking side by side with Garry. "Buuuuuuuuuuttt she could be way happier with my help!" Pinkie wink at Garry.
Garry returned to his thoughts about Twilight. So she was not happy before I came here? Thinking about it Garry had noticed that the mast couple of months living with her, from day one tell right now, he had noticed that she was smiling and being a happy as a pony could ever be as far as he knew.
The two of them finally reached Sweet Apple Acres after a very long game of 'I spy' with Pinkie. The sound of her hoofs making contact with the bark made it easier to find Applejack. The two travelers approach the orange mare.
THACK!
Mounds of apples fell from the tree, filling four tubs of apples perfectly. Garry gave a friendly shout at Applejack.
"Applejack? Applejack over here."
Applejack looked over to the two creatures approaching her. "Well howdy their Garry and Pinkie, what brin's ya here?" spinning around to face her friends.
"Well I was wondering if you have any apple wi-" Garry stared.
"CHAMPAGNE!" Pinkie interjected.
"No, i just want-"
"Garry wants some yummy yummy apple champagne, got any laying around Applejack?" Pinkie continued, ignoring Garrys plea.
"Champagne?" Applejack looking up and tap her chin with a hoof in thought. "Actually, I do believe I may have a couple of some champagne brewd up a few days ago."
"Great! will take five," Pinkie said in a positive tone.
"Five bottles?" Both Garry and Applejack said in surprise.
"Five Bottleroonies."
Applejack just shrugged, knowing that whatever Pinkie was planning must have been something good for somepony, or someone by the looks of it. "So what the occasions?" Applejack said leading the two to the barn.
"Its not for me, its for Garry Berry!" Pinke proclaimed.
Applejack look back, almost to the barn, "What do you need five champagne bottle for Gerry?"
Garry blushed a bit for being under the spotlight, "Um, well...you see its-"
"Garry wants to show Twilight how special he is to her." integrated Pinkie once again almost as if on cue.
Applejack smiled, looking straight ahead, "Should of guessed you two would be ya couple."
"W-we aren't a-a couple!" Garry stammered from embarrassment.
"Not yet, but don't worry Garry Aunty Pinkies got you covered on all hoofs." Pinke said, giving Garry a reassuring wink.
The group made it to the barn with no trouble. Applejack unlatched the barn door and gestured for her friends to enter. There on the other side of the barn laid a couple of crates clearly labeled by the Apple Family logo on the side.
"Well here she is, five bottles of my best champagne." Applejack said with confidence, crossing her legs with her chin held high.
"What do I owe you Applejack?" Garry said, looking over the case over. He knew this was going to be pricey. And later he was going to talk to Pinkie about this.
"Well," Applejack said, returning to a normal standing pose, "I could by the look on your face and Pinkie here, is plann' a lil somthin special, so ill give to ya half off."
Pinkie somehow, someway tossed a bag of bits her way and the crate and her dash out the door with her yelling back, "Thank you AAAAAAaaapppllllleeejaaaaaaccck!"
Garry look over to his friend to confirm what he just saw was true, Apple jack just shrugged, "That's Pinkie for ya,"
Garry left waving back at hearty wave back and tried to catch up with the ever fast Pinkie Pie back in to Ponyville.
Wrath From The Rainbow. (Revised)
"Pinkie, It's just wine. What's wrong with that?" Garry protested to Pinkie. Walking on a lone stretch of road leading back to where they needed to go.
"What's wrong? what's wrong?! " Pinkie started to build up to a quirky argument. "What's wrooooooooong is that your about to serve a special somepony wine...wine! No pony wants wine except for the Canterlot ponies, which by the way she is not a Canterlot pony, well she is but she isn't at the same time." Pinkie puffed a bit, then returning to a 'normal' state of mine. "Trust me Garry, she's gonna love the champagne."
"Its just wine seems a bit more appreciative from where I come from, thats all."
Pinkie Pie twitch one of her ears to that. Garry half expected her say or do something else to his response, but alas, the pink pony has once again surprised him. Just trotting along, humming to herself a tune that was unfamiliar to Garry. Garry thought to himself about how he was going to show how much Twilight meant to him, but at the same time, the cultural part of this world seems almost parallel to his, but there were some quirks here and there. Now, how could he remember what was what here. If only he had a book or...
History and Cultural: Equines in Equestria Vol I
Garry put on his glasses, pulled his backpack off his shoulders and started to look through the book that Twilight had given him. Now he just had to find the chapter about 'Courtship.' Just be flipping through the pages he learned such odd things about pony culture. One interesting fact he learned was that ponies often couple up with other sentient creatures, though the couple can't produce offspring of any sorts. Garry chuckled a bit, seeing an image of a pony and a griffin, a pony and a zebra, and also half a dozen more examples. He also learned that their was more mares and stallions in equestria. The ratio the book suggested was five to two. Along those lines there was a passage that contain common courtship patterns for the mares such as giving a stallion a certain flower. Garry was puzzled by this. Why would they give each other a flower? Would they just eat it inside of looking at it? Garry thought to himself.
After what seems like an hour the two of them walking they reached Ponyville, heading towards the central water fountain. Garry knew that the Library was not that far off. His nerves started to get the best of him. He has gone this far, but what if Twilight rejects him? What if Twilight thinks of him as just a friend? Many thoughts of such flowered and blooming inside his mind. He began shift his weight back and forth as the two of them walk. Pinkie Pie, as if she had a worry detector installed in her, noticed Garry acting this way.
"Nervous Garry Berry?" Pinkie stopping herself in front of Sugar Cube Corner.
"Well, yes." Garry admitted
Pinkie giggle, "Awww don't worry once I adjust this baby, you'll knockTwilight of the the park!" she motioned towards her Pinkie Pie flared cart. "Just wait riiiiiight here, Ill be right back."
Pinkie disappeared into Sugar Cube Corner, dashing at unholy speeds causing the main door to spin out of control on its hinges before returning i]to its natural state. Garry just stood there, just shaking his head lightly. He will probably never figure out how she is able to do all these crazy things. He shrug and began to read his book once again.
POOF
Garry look up at the sound. "What was that? Sounded like something just popped."
POOF
From the corner of his eye, he saw a cloud disappear. He looked over to the spot where the cloud once was. Then he heard a steady quite whistling sound that gradually started to get louder and louder.
"LOOK OUT BELOOOOOOOOWWWW!!"
Before Garry could have done anything, a streak of rainbow and cyan fell from the sky, landing close by on top of some crates.
CRASH
Bits of wood scattered across the streets. Garry covered his face from the flying debris. Once the close was clear he looked.
"FEW! That was a close call," a pegasi whipped the sweat from her brow. Facing away from Garry. He was in shock. The sheer speed and how she impacted the crates should have dangerously damaged the pegasi in front of him. Long and behold she was unharmed to the naked eye. However he can't say the same thing for the pile of crates that was there prior to the crash. Garry closed put his book on Pinkie's cart and investigated the cyan pegasi to see if she needed any help, let alone make sure she's was truly ok.
"Hey, you alright? That was a nasty fall," Garry walked up to her.
Not even looking behind her to see who was asking her she replied, "Yeah I'm fine, no big deal." She huffed a bit and turned around. "And I didn't fall, I was practicing my new tri-" she stop her self gazed upon the creature that stood before her. "HEY! Its you!" she angrily shouted and pointed a hoof at him. Garry didn't know what to do at this point, he never made a pony this angry before. The pegasi continued. "Your that tall freak that staying at Twi's place aren't you?" she flap her wings and hovered in front of Garry's face. still wearing a rage filled expression. What has Garry done to deserve such wrath?
"Ummm....yes?" Garry guessed at her question, darting his eyes at the ponies that were staring at the two of them.
"I don't care if Celestia says your harmless or that spell of hers made you what you are, I. Got. My. Eye. On. You. Got it?"
Garry was leaning back as she articulated the last part of her sentence, getting a little too close to his liking. "Sure, yeah I got it, can you please, just flap a little less close to me please?"
She snarled and hovered backwards a bit, but still dangerously close to him, if she decides to throw a hoof at his face.
She noticed Garry back pack and flew behind him and examine it, "What's in here?"
"Hey don't touch that you'll-!"
"The Pony's Trotting Guide To Equestria?" she says taking the book from Garry's backpack. She stares even more angry at him. "Where did you get this book from buddy? Did you...steal it?"
More ponies gathered around Garry the vocal disappearance. Murmuring among themselves, as far as Garry is aware, crime is at an all time low in this world, and with that in mind Garry also guessed that if one such pony commits a crime then the punishment must be extreme. With extremes as maybe banishment or something worse. Garry did not want to be the first human to be held on trial for something he didn't do.
"No, I did not steal it miss, It was given to me." Garry retorting the mares claims against him. "Also why would a still a book if stealing was to gain a prophet from said stolen object. Last time a check, books such as this," Garry gestured at the book the mare was holding in her forelegs. "Is maybe say, between ten to twelve bits?" The crowd of ponies murmured again with his logic against the mare claims.
"HEYAH DASHIE!"
All the ponies, plus a human look at Pinkie now standing next to Garry.
"Pinkie! get away from him! he's a monster!" said Rainbow Dash.
Pinkie giggled, "Oh Dashie, don't be silly! Gerry Berry is harmless!" Garry gave her an appreciative look, Rainbow Dash frustrated by her friend defending an 'alien.'
"Pinkie, how can you say that? Look at him he's totally guilty!"
Garry look back at his accuser, this was dragging on long enough. "Alright, if you are so sure that I stole this book, why don't you ask Twilight if she's missing any books?" Rainbow Dash gave a smirk, challenge accepted.
"Fine! Maybe I will, Garry. " Dash stuck her tongue out at Garry as she flew off back to whatever she was doing, dropping the book. The crowd of ponies slowly disappears back into their daily routine as if nothing has happen. Giving a sigh of relief, Garry walk over to retrieve the 'stolen book.'
"Did I have offended her or upset her in anyway shape or form?" Garry ask to Pinkie. She tap her hoof on her chin to think.
"Hmmmm OH! I got it," Giggle as the thought enter her brain. "She's jealous of you Garry Berry."
"Jealous of me? How can she be jealous?"
Pinkie dashed over to Garry side, somehow at head level with him. "It's because of her and Twilight." She whispered. "They were a fling for a while but ended like a good birthday party."
Garry paused. He didn't know what to think. The first negative thought about, or should he say, first negative outbreak from one of her friends. Garry knew that he was a people pleaser, trying very hard to appeal to everyone he met. But, it seems that he would have to make an exemption with Rainbow Dash. This would indeed set him off course and off his game if he was going to be at his best for Twilight. Not only that, but now he has to watch over his shoulder, knowing that Twilights ex flinger might be out and about, ready to strike him down at a moments noticed. Hopefully not physically of course.
"Can we go now, I think she was half serious about asking Twilight about my thievery. " Garry slightly pleased.
Pinkie beamed. "Okey Dokey Lokey!" She hooked her self up to her cart. She started to walk about to Twilight's. Garry noticed that there was a some furniture and many other random things that were the back of Pinkie's cart. He just shook his head. Trying to make sense from her would be worse than trying to discover the universe with only a microscope. Garry thought to himself.
The two of them walk towards Twilights home. From nowhere, Garry noticed that there was a rogue dark cloud started to drift towards him. From his reading, he knew that Pegasi are light enough to push clouds. From the looks it from where he was standing, it look like a thunder cloud. Garry started to panic. If this was Rainbow Dash, then she was going to try to zap him with a lighting bolt. He was not going to get struck by her by such a thing. He scanned the ground. Picking up a rock and turned around and throw it as hard as he could at the incoming cloud that was not that far from his target.
"Buzz off Rainbow Dash!" Garry shouted as the rock sailed towards its target. It went right through the cloud.
THWAP
A shriek of pain and a blur of rainbow confirmed to Garry that it was her about to pull something off. Gone for good, He could see that Rainbow Dash flew out of there. He sighed a quick breath, feeling relief and slightly guilty for his actions. He never intentionally hurt any living creature, but he knew that a lighting bolt could be lethal to him. He turned to Pinkie who was now a couple feet away, completely unaware of what just happen. Shouting to wait up, he sprinted up to her. When he reach her, they were just about to reach Twilight's home. Garry heart began to speed up once more as they approach the oak tree library.
The sun was setting in the land of mystical ponies. From Garry's left he could hear the slow beat of Pinkie's cart wooden wheels. Grinding against the soft gravel road along with her hooves making a gentle clopping . A smooth breeze was in the air. It's soft tickle of the wind lifting away Garry's fear of what may have happen between him and Twilight's ex lover. On the surface it seems the two mares were friends from what he gathered from the stories about the two of them. This would seems false beyond all compare with the new fact he received from his strange companion that he was thankful in a strange way the she was with him.
The two of them were close to the Library, Twilights humble home. Garry was nervous still about what he was planning. Anxiety plaguing his thought. Luckily, Pinkie was there to gave him a pep talk. "Come on Garry Berry, you can do this! This champagne and your Aunty Pinkie will make sure nothin' will go wrong! Twilight really RREEEAAAaaallly likes you, and you really, RRRREEEAAAAAaaalllly like her." She smiled as he unhitched herself from her cart just outside the main door to the Library. Garry pondered about what Pinkie said, looking up at the sky as if it would give him feedback. His train of thought was interrupted as he heard the sound what appeared to be to him as gears turning. Garry look over at the source of the sound. Once again, another surprise from Pinkie as her cart shape shifted into a good size cannon. Garry raised an eyebrow at the new contraption.
"Um Pinkie, I hope you're not planning on completely blow a hole through the side of her home with that thing," Garry observed.
"Why would I do that? Twilight didn't ask me to blow anything up. No way. Unlike Applejack, she ask me to take down her old barn with this baby," she patted her hoof on the cannon. "Though she was kinda mad at me at me when the barn was covered in cake mix! I totally forgot that I switch out the alterity and..."
Garry lost himself in thought, drowning out Pinkie's as background noise. He thought of the recurring theme that he wasn't himself, but at the same time was himself. That however, was not his biggest concern on the same train of thought. He was genuine concerned about what Rainbow Dash has said to him.
"I don't care if Celestia says your harmless or that Twilight did a spell of hers to make you what you are." Rainbow Dash's words coldy echo in Garry's mind.
This single sentence was causing him so much grief. What should mean by that? Was he changed somehow, someway? All of these thoughts seem bug him deeply. He can't suspected that Twilight did something to him? Sure she was a pony of science, but she wouldn't break any ethical codes about cruel and inhumane treatment of aliens. It doesn't sound like her. However, Garry has only known her for about five months now, so anything is fair game. Garry hoped that she was not some sort of pony to will manipulate others for personal gain. This was troublesome for Garry as another thought enter his wild collage of thoughts. Maybe their was no laws about alien. Maybe, Twilight is that type of pony would do such a thing. However, he can't be sure. He just read during the walk back to Twilight's that there is other sentient beings in this strange land. So there has to be laws about 'aliens' having visiting privileges to this place. All of these thoughts sunk in deeper and deeper into his mind. Completely oblivious to his surroundings.
He was in a deep trance until Pinkie made a loud clop sound with her hooves. "...And that how I come up with the idea for my cupcakes!" she jumped ecstatically into the air followed by a slow, feather like fall of a decent. Garry snap out of his trance of thought and look over to Pinkie with a questionable look as she fell slowly, delicately to the gravel of Equestria. "Anyway," she got on all fours, "time to get this party started!"
With no hesitation Pinkie valiantly push her cannon into Twilights door, knocking it wide open. Garry quickly shuffled as best as he could through the small frame of Twilight's home, trying to stop Pinkie of doing whatever she was about to do.
"Pinkie what are you..." Garry started but was stop mid sentence as he saw the most physically impossible thing that anybody or anypony could ever seen. There standing right in front of him Pinkie was stuffing the bottles of champagne, along with another thing such as chairs, candles, and an empty water vase, into the barrel of the cannon. But thats that was not the impossible feat Garry was witnessing. What was the impossible was that the ammunition seem to have a rubbery property. Being sucked in the cannon like it was a vacuum. What came next was even more earth shattering for Garry
"AAAAAAAAAaaaannnd Fire!" Pinkie pushed the button of her cannon. The noise of party kazoos and the sight streamers along with what the result of the discharged of the 'ammunition.' A table shot out being placed perfectly in the center of the room. After the table, the bottles seems to be shot and perfectly placed, without shattering, on each end of the table. And finally, the chairs perfect size for Garry and for Twilight seems to be placed perfectly opposite side of each other from the perfectly place table with the candles seems to be perfectly placed in the center of the table already lit.
Garry jaw was agaped, "H-how did you-"
"Sorry! got to go. Good luuuuuuuuuuuuck!" Pinkie interrupted. She then disappeared along with all evidence she was there. Again Garry was at a loss for words. He felt something was in his hands. He look down and the cupcakes were in his hand. He did a quick double take from his pack, to his hand, then back at his pack. He was at a lost for words. How on earth can an earth pony had the ability to break the laws of known physics? He didn't have to think long before diverted his attention somewhere else.
"Garry? Is that you?" Twilight called from upstairs. Garry heard her room door open and walk down the stairs. He turned to face her. "Did you run into Pinkie? That mare really has a strange sense of humor, she sent me this flowers and said it was from-" Twilight came into view using her magic to hold up a single rose the color of Twilight's lavender coat. She stopped and stared blankly at the romantic scene in front of her. "-you..." she completed her sentence awkwardly.
Quick! Say something Garry!
"W-why yes I did run into her," Garry gave a sheepish grin, laughing awkwardly.
Way to make it awkward as ahhh....whats the word I'm looking for.
Twilight raised an eyebrow then noticed the bottles on the table beaming with delight, "Ohmygosh! i-is that apple champagne!"
Garry looked over to the set up then back at Twilight. He gave her a wry smile, "Oh that? I don't know," He sat down in his larger chair set. He gestured to the much smaller seat opposite of him, "maybe we should discover together whether or not this is indeed, apple champagne. Also we could perhaps find out if Pinkie made us this batch of delicious cupcakes?"
Cha-ching! Perfect! Thank you Pinkie Pie! Thankyouthankyou! Garry gave a cheer to himself.
Twilight had an idea of what Garry was trying to attempt, "Oh my Mr. Garry, you know how to treat a girl~" She said in the best mysterious voice she had. Sadly it fell short for Garry, sounding like a statement rather than what was original purpose.
She walked down the stairs. Her tail slightly twitching from left to right at random. She used her magic to place the rose into the empty vase and hopped up in her respected chair. "Shall I do the honors?" Using her magic to pick up a single bottle.
"Be my guest," Garry said to her. Twilight's magic with no effort at all made the bottle gave a loud pop as the cork came off. Twilight took both glasses and poured each other a glass. Okay, so far, so good...
Twilight levitated a glass to Garry. "Why thank you," he graciously took the glass from Twilight. She but the bottle down and continued started to take a sip of her drink.
"Whoa, this is amazing! Where in Equestria did you get this?" Her eyes looking sideways at Garry.
Garry chuckled, "Take a guess."
Twilight to another sip. She smacked her lips and looking up at the ceiling, concentration. "Canterlot Brew an Stew?" Garry shoot his head, smiling. "Hmmm Flim and Flam?" Garry shook his head again. Twilight took another sip. before trying to guess again. "Manehatten Colt Pub?" Garry chuckled again.
"Do you think I could have traveled to to Canterlot or Manehatten in under," Garry looked over to the grandfather clock then back to Twilight, "In four hour period of time?"
Twilight scoffed, "Of course you could of! Your average walking speed is one and a half times faster than an earth pony." Garry look surprised.
"Did you just figured that out just now?" He took a sip of his champagne. Wow this stuff really is good.
"Why yes I did actually!" She chirped. Garry just chuckled once again.
"Anyway, I got this from one of your friends and my co worker." Garry said, voice slightly muffled by his drink before he took a fine squig.
"Applejack made this?" She questioned. Garry nodded. "I didn't know her family made anything else besides cider. I gotta give her my gratitude for this fine drink for tonight."
"Cheers to that," Garry raised his glass.
"Cheers." Both Garry and Twilight clinked glasses.
"MMmm!" she said as he drink her glass, eyes wide open. "I just remembered, I wanted to ask you about your cutie mark."
"Cutie mark?" Garry questioned, putting his glass down.
"Yes your cutie mark on your back The one with pegasus wings." She said pointing at Garry.
"My cutie ma-Oh!" Garry give a quick laughing, knowing what she was referring to. "It's not pegasus wings or a cutie mark. Its a tattoo of a pair of angel wings.
"Angel wings?" she filled her glass back up.
"Yeah they from an angel." Garry explained.
"Is an angel an earth creature?" she ask.
"Well yes and no." Garry leaned back in his chair. Twilight tilted her head in confusion. He elaborated further. "Well, from where I'm from, some of us like to follow a religion. We pray to a deity, name God, and talk about the stories from a book that was written a long long time ago." Twilight leaned a little forward in her chair. "This deity had a special kind of human to carry out duties called an angel."
"What did they look like?" She inquired.
"Well they look like a normal human being, but they had a pair of white wings. Spreading greater there body height."
"Really?" she said sounding intrigued. Garry smiled. He could tell she was extremely interested in this topic.
"Yeah and they had magic of their own." Garry said, throwing the bait out for Twilight. She took it.
"Magic?! What kind of magic!" She commanded to know.
Garry chuckled again, knowing that she would never would have able to resist. "Well, they did thing called Miracles, you know, healing the wounded, give someone guidance, deliver messages from God. That sort of thing." Garry waved his and to dismiss the details. Twilight eyes widen.
"Did they have a horn to cast spells?" She asked excitedly.
"Um no, they just did it with their hands and fingers." Garry responded. Twilight eye lit up.
"Oh wow thats sounds amazing!"
"Well, its just a story, I don't think they are kinda lame." Garry said in a flat tone.
"Then why do you have wings on your back if they are lame." Twilight challenge
"Meh, Its just a reminder of my family." Garry shrugged. Twilight gasped.
"You family was associated with an angel?" Twilight made the conclusion with haste.
Garry shook his head, "No, they were just guards for a church, being called the 'guardian angel' of where they are from. But over time they just called my family clan Angel." Garry paused. "Thats why my last name is Angel."
"Fascinating," Twilight whispered, her cheeks a slight crimson shade. She glanced at the flower for a split second then back at Garry, smiling.
Garry noticed where her eyes darted to. "So um, Twilight," leaning in to take the flower into his hands to inspect it. This flower seemed to look familiar to him. He pick it up and a small tingle went up his arm. "What a lovely flower ah?" He sniffed the flower, smelling like lavender.
Twilight eyes Flash in shock, then her eyes slowly started to water up. "Yeah they are something," She said sappily
Garry flinched at the sudden change in Twilights behavior, "Twilight?" He ask.
Without warning, her horn glowed, making the table move to the side as she jumped into him. He flinched from the surprise as he tumbled backwards.

Laying With An Angel
Garry didn't know what to do. His situation went from just a simple private date to something he was unfamiliar with. Right now, he had a lavender unicorn on top of him, crying into his chest. He did not know if he had hurt her feeling or she was happy about something. He hoped for the latter.
"Oh you're the one!" Twilight continued. Garry was stunned.
"Twilight, what do you mean?" Garry tried to calm her down.
"You accepted my flower, you're the one for me." She continued, burying her face deeper into his chest. Garry look over to the flower next to him. He knew what that flower was. It was Love Me Flower. Stories told that if a mare with the same coat color gives this flower to her stallion. The stallion then pick up the flower. If the mare feels a jolt in her spine, then those two are destined to be together.
A flower decided my fate. Garry thought to himself, looking down at his crying mare friend. What a fate to be distend to be with. Garry embraced Twilight. She gave a small squeak out of surprise. Garry whispered in to her ear.
"Twilight, I wanted to tell you how I felt about you for a while know, but I never found out how to do so." She lifted her head to meet his eyes, red and watery. "These past couple of months with you gave me so much joy and fun. More than the past twenty years I have lived on Earth." He moved some of her mane out of her face with the back of his hand. Her face burned a crimson shade under her lavender coat. "You, are the most beautiful, most intelligent, most kind girl I have ever met." Her eyes began to widen at every word. Garry continued with a warm smile. "What I'm trying to say Twilight is that." Garry paused for a few moments. He reach over and place the Love Me Flower behind Twilight's ear. His heart was pounding as harder than it has ever pounded before. He could feel Twilight's heart racing as well. "I-I love you Twilight."
Another tear rolled down her cheek. Her eyes were quivering with delight. "Oh Garry, I feel, the same way with you. Your kind and sweet. You're funny and witty. I felt, so alone, even around my friends and family," she closed her eyes and face away from Garry. "I felt like I would be alone with nothing but my books and my studies." She opened her and faced Garry once again. "But then you came, you came and filled me with so much joy and love that I thought I would never have again." More tears started to roll down her cheek. "I....I..." Twilight tried to say what was on her mind.
Garry placed a finger over her soft lips. Shushing her quietly. "You don't need to say it Twi," He smiled at her warmly. She began to lean her head forward slowly. Closing her eyes.
She can't be... Garry thought.
She tilted her head slightly, easing her way closer and closer.
She is...
Garry began to follow suite.
She loves me...
Garry could feel her breath on his own lips.
And I love her...
After what seemed to be an eternity, the two lover lips met one another. Garry heart began to beat loudly. Heat running all through his body. The kiss was a soft motionless kiss. The two of didn't mind. The only thing that mattered was that they found each other. For Garry, her lips were surprisingly like of a girls back at home with the exceptions that they were little more room to play around with.
After a few seconds, Twilight parted with Garry lips, leaning back and opening her eyes half way. Garry did the same. The two of them stared into each others eyes. Garry's mind began to shift to his primitive side of his mind. With no warning Garry lounged forward. His lips met Twilight's once again. Only this time, me put a bit of more passion in this kiss then the last. Twilight moaned a bit from his kiss. Garry open his mouth slightly and start to enter Twilight mouth, but not enter to deep. To his surprise Twilight's tongue met his. The two pink snakes danced the ancient dance that has been around since the dawn of time. Garry gave himself a moan, the feeling of her tongue was pure bliss. He could faintly taste vanilla.
Garry felt radiant heat near his thighs and a smell of something strong. He could not quite place his finger on it. That mystery was soon solved when he remembered the one smell that can't be defined. He knew Twilight was clearly showing signs of arousal. Oh God, can this be going where I think this is going? That single dirty thought drifted into the see of Garry's mind. Suddenly, he felt his member slightly grow. Oh no, please don't let this kill the mood, oh please oh please oh please!
Twilight once again broke the kiss with a loud smack of their lips. A bridge of saliva briefly connected their lips. Her eyes were in a seductively half closed. She giggled naughty as Garry felt his ground slightly poke at Twilight's belly.
"Oh what do you have here? It seems we have a visitor down there." Twilight teased Garry rubbing her belly on the poking intruder. "I know how to take care of such a thing." She got off of Garry. Her horn glowed a lavender color. Garry could feel a tug on his right hand. He got to his feet and then lead upstairs to only one place Garry hasn't been .
Twilight open the door to her room. It was dark with only a light of the moon illuminating her furniture. Garry look around what must be Twilight's room. Twilight horn began to glow once more. An aura engulfed the tiny bed. With some creaking and sparks, her bed began to grow to the a queen size.
"Oh very clever." He said. Twilight look back at him with hungry, biting her lower lip. With a flick of her head, she guide Garry to the foot of her bed. With a quick spark from the horn, Twilight shoved Garry playfully onto her bed. He fell on the oversized bed bounce a little as he landed. Twilight followed shortly as she hopped on Garry chest. Giggle profoundly before she laid her lips once again on top of Garry's. He placed his hand on Twilights back, caressing her very lightly. One hand start to wonder up Twilights neck and finding it it nesting spot at the back of her skull. She moaned into Garry's lips as it traveled.
With the other hand, he lifted his palm, only making contact with Twilights soft fur, travel slowly in a smooth zig zag pattern down her spine. down her lower back, down to her...
"MMMmmm" Twilight moaned loudly as he gave her rump a good squeeze. Garry wasn't the only one who had wondering body parts. One of Twilights fore hooves started on Garry's chest. It slowly descending from the center of his sternum. Then gliding effortlessly down his belly. Change course, the wondering hoof migrated toward his sides. Twilight began to teased Garry, just rubbing his belt line just only inches away from the bulging area of his pants.
Garry knew what game she was playing. He also know how to change it to his favor. He gave Twilight a another good squeeze of the opposite cheek before he wandered over to Twilight's marehood. His fingers found the area completely moist. She was definitely aroused now. with his middle finger, be game to tease Twilight's moist folds, pressing is middle fingers on them oh so gently. He could her tail twitched against his forearm. Twilight broke the kiss and shuddered at Garry's delicate touch.
"I gotta...I gotta...oh Garry..." She panted. With her horn glowing, Garry could feel his zipper of his pants to become undone. Then after the zipper, the button holding it together become undone. With a quick flick. Garry pants and box seem to have slid right off. He heard and felt the pain slap of his member hit against his stomach. Twilight squee delight in the low light. She shift herself down her face was next to it while her rump was in Garry's face. Examining it, she found it to her liking.
"Wow Garry, are all humans look like this?" She ask stroking it with a hoof.
"Not Aahh, all of them," a shot of ecstasy run through his spine. Her tail was tickling his chest.
Garry panted a little harder as he felt something wet made contact with his buddy down stairs. A pleasurable moan escaped his lips. He lift his head once again. Well, I guess I should return the favor. he thought as her brushed her tail away to look at Twilight's swollen sex. It was dripping with fluids and quivering slightly. He pressed his face into her and gave her a quick lick. Garry could feel a shocking moan vibrate in his member, pressing him one step him closer to the point of return. He gave another gingerly lick. Then another. And again, another. Then he his tongue went to explore the newly discovered love carven. Twilights moan grew louder and louder as Garry did so. Twilight legs were shaking a bit as Garry's tongue did its work. His tongue could feel Twilights inner walls slightly convulsing to its touch. The odor between Twilight's hindlegs was getting stronger.
Twilight stop her work, leaning her entire body back into him, she cried out, "G-garry, I think, im...im gonna..co-AHHH!" Twilight didn't finish her sentence. Her raging orgasm completed it for her. The lovely fluids splashed all inside Garry's mouth. Twilight was barely able to turn himself around to face Garry. she lock lips with him once again. This time, Twilight's tongue invaded Garrys with no hesitation. Licking up any of her own fluids left that Garry may have left behind in his mouth. The taste of both of her lips made him even more aroused. He knew it was time for the main event.
With a quick flip, Garry flip her over. Twilight broke the kiss and squeaked in surprised at Garry's quick maneuvering. Garry look at the dim light eyes of his lover. He knew that she wanted what was up next for the evenings agenda. His pride just barely touching her clit.
"Please," Twilight whispered, sweat visible on her coat in the moon lit room. "Put it in me for me."
Garry leaned forward, "Im sorry, I didn't hear you." Garry teased. Rubbing his love stick on her aching lips.
Twilight begged a little louder, "Put it in me, please"
Garry thrusted forward lightly, into her, the warmth of her walls shot pure pleasure through his spine. Both of them moan simultaneously. Once in, Garry slowly to thrust himself inside with shallow strokes. Twilight moaned even louder, she was enjoying every second of it. Her horn lit up slightly, though no magical came from it. Garry took no notice of it. Focusing on her, he continued his pace. Twilight continued to moan in pleasure, occasionally calling to Garry's name in shallow breaths. Sweat, sex, and lavender dominated Twilights room.
The pleasure was building inside Garry. He knew he would not much last longer. He took a risk, guessing that since the two of them are from different worlds, the chances of them producing anything would be extremely slim. Garry pounded harder and harder into Twilight, grunting profoundly. Her moans increasing in pitch as he continued to drive deeper and faster.
"G-Garry Ima gonna..."
"Me too Twi."
With a final yell, Twilight's orgasm took squeezed Garry's flesh stick tight as warm fluids drench her covers. A lighting bolt of magic hit Garry straight in the chest. However, he didn't noticed anything of the sort. He felt his own orgasm take hold. He felt his hot seed shoot deep inside Twilight, filling her up to the brim. He rolled over to his side, panting heavily.
"W-wow" Twilight sighed through her heavily pants.
"Wow....indeed" Garry struggled to say in his short breathed state. Twilight snuggled into Garry's sweaty embrace. The two of them stayed this way, catching their press from their rigorous activities. After a long moment, Twilight broke the still silence.
"Is there anything wrong laying with an angel?" she teased
Garry chuckled a bit. He kissed her on the cheek. "Only if they are as handsome as me." he jested at Twilight. She found it less than amusing. She gave him a quick light jab into rib. "Ow!" Garry exclaimed, playfully. She giggled profoundly as he responded to her attack with some tickling. After the both of them calmed down, they spooned as sleep started to overtake them.
"I love you Garry" Twilight sighed before drifting into sleep.
"I love you too Twilight." Garry responded with a shallow yawn, before he too followed into a restful sleep.
The Truth Shall Bind You
Through out equine history, there was always a force that drives us all. From the force that grants the ability of the Pegasi to control the weather, to the force that allows Earth ponies to till the ground beneath there own hooves. However no equine has tried to discover what this force tell tell many years after Princess Luna and Princess Cele...
Garry yawned as he skimmed the text of Twilights work on inter demential beings. He took of his glasses and rubbed his temples. Ever since early that night he took a glance at the three terrors, he could not stop looking, re-looking and researching on Twilight work. Every page, every word he looked through Twilight library on the subject of magic, his heart sank deeper into an ocean of deceptions and lies. He knew that Twilight was hiding something from him, But all the notes, the research, the questions and his new "appearance" strength the fact that he was never going home to were he belong. Strangely, he felt calm and collective about his whole situation.
That is, until he fond what he was looking for on how Twilight actually brought him here of the land magic and ponies.
When ever he brought up the subject, she would dodge the question as 'a complicated processes and delicate research.' He knew she was lying, but gave her the benefit of his own doubt. In his mind it was rude to pry on a lady's work, or mare's work in his case. But now thats has all change when he cross reference a passage of Twilights work.
Garry put on his glasses and glanced over a small section in Twilights work under Discovery.
According to Star Swirl The Beard, Magic everywhere in Equestria, from the sun that our beloved princess rise every morning, to the smallest pebble on Conterlot's mountainside. This is true, for magic is all around us. However when Star Swirl time, science only developed to the point of keeping track of bits for trade. We know now that magic is a wave length that flows through the universe. This wave length has a fix value that also magic to be converted into spells for unicorns or into there respected repositions of the others equine races. This value can be expressed as:
M = 3.65 Arcana
Garry leaned against a book case on the main floor of the library pondering of what he just read. Magic is a wave length? Is magic like light? He craned his head back down at the pseudo book.
Upon one clear night in Ponyville, a took upon myself to see if this fact about magic is truly universal. With a new spell that I recently acquired for my little experiment for scanning traces of any and all magic, I slightly modified the incantation just to give the user the value of M.The Incantation goes as follows:
To See Without Sight
Bring Forth the Value of Might
Scan All The Pure Skies
And Bring Forth My Prize
Once the spell was casted to the skies, it seems that M was truly universal
That is until my scan fell the the southern part of the skies. That is when the spell fell apart. The result did not do well for my horn, nor did for the equipment for the occasion. However, Not all was lost. Before my Magic Detector imploded, it did record the following data
Location: Unknown
Size Sweep: N/A
Audio Rec: 5 Min 3 Sec
M = 7.3
The audio recording was unrecognizable and alien. What intrigue me is that my sweep of that area only last less then a second, but the machine recorded over five minutes of audio. The recording of this audio can be heard through the crystal scored along with this book.
Garry looked to his left and eyed the beautiful crystal that he fond near the hiding place of the book. Curiosity got the best of him. He put the book down and kneeled down to eye level to the crystal. It was shape like a three demential diamond.
"Audio huh? Well then lets hear it." Garry spoke softly. He pick up the crystal and sat down. He had no idea how a crystal can record audio, let alone be put into a device. But then again he was in a place that had dragons and unicorns roaming the dirt beneath his feet. Plus there was two horse sisters that ruled over the land that had the power to control the night and day. Making them both goddesses. So with that logic, he concluded that anything is possible. He twisted and looked at the surface of the crystal.
"How do I unlock your secrets?" Garry spoke to himself in a thoughtful manner. His hand glowed a lavender hue. The crystal jump from his hands, levitating in mid air. Garry jump up at the first sign of life from the inanimate object. He yep in surprise, his wings flared in a defense stance. The crystal made a small whistle sound as it started to rotate and rev up. Soon the while started to become to loud for Garry's pleasure. He panic and tried to 'shush' the spinning object hoping that it would do as he command. But his task game no results as the the crystal span it full speed.
A hologram appeared in front of his eyes. He looked like a computer program that would analyze an audio documents. Then the recording started to play. Garry stop and listen. It was strange. It sound like a hundred different birds chirping at the same time. Sounds of footstep and hundreds, if not millions of different human voice speaking in their different languages. Cars and trucks starting and stoping. This was quite noisy.
"Shut up shut up!" Garry growled through his teeth as he tried to grab hold of the flying crystal. His hand shimmered with a familiar lavender hue as he poke at the crystal, causing the hologram to shrink into the crystal. With that simple action, the crystal, slowly stopped spinning. It fell onto the wooden floor with a soft metallic plink. His hands stop his hue as the crystal hit the floor. He looked at his hands with a puzzled look. He had no time to pounder when he heard a pair of slow, cautious hoof steps coming down the stairs. He looked over his shoulder to see Twilight as the base of the stairs, hair and mane in a mess he saw only mere hours ago. Her ears flatten against her skull. Her eyes had a look of pure horror as she looked from him, to the crystal, then to her book.
"Garry, I-I" her voiced stammered as she shook. "H-how much d-did you..." He trailed off.
Garry turned his full body to her, "Enough," he said calmly as he tuck his wings.
"Garry, I-I was going to tell-" She began
"Walk with me Twi," Garry interjected.
"W-what?" Twilight said in disbelief. Garry could tell she was about to turn into a nuclear emotional bomb.
"Walk with me Twi, I'm sure you want to explain yourself," He spun around slowly heading to the door.
Twilight took a trembling step towards him. "You're not mad, or upset or..or spiteful of what a done?" She lowered her head and close her eyes, dreading his answer.
Garry leaned down to open the equine door then turn his head to her with a small smile on his face. He paused before he answered. "No...No really" he hesitated a bit. Twilight winced at his responds. She knew she did more damaged to him then she originally anticipated. He inhaled deep and let out a sigh before slowly walking out her home. This was not going to be a fun walk for her.
The human and the unicorn walked the around Ponyville in total science for a while. Not a single pony was out and about at six in the morning. The moon was only hours away before it bid its farewell. The sounds of hoof steps and footstep were the only sound to be heard. Garry walk with his hands in his pockets, humming a song that was unfamiliar to Twilight. This was agonizing to her. It perplexed her how calm Garry was with the new information he learned. It only made it that much harder for her to speak to him about what she had done to him. Twilights head hung low her eyes half closed not paying any head of were the two of them were going.
Twilights head snapped up when she noticed that the gravel beneath her hooves turned into patches of grass. she looked around her surroundings, knowing this place well. They ended up at the Ponyville pound. She look at Garry as the headed to the lake. He looked down at her giving her a small smile. He stop and sat down at the end of the pound. He patted the ground next to him inviting Twilight to sit next to him. She hesitated before joining him. The both sat for a while before Garry spoke.
"I understand that everything around here has a wave length." He gestured to the view in font of him. Twilight just nodded. Her eyes looking at her hooves. Garry continued. "What I don't understand is how I'm here" he pointed at the ground, looking over to Twilight. "According to your books, this wave length has little wiggle room to change." He rested his arms on his legs. "And if you say I'm from a place thats has, what, double in frequency, how Im I not imploded on myself?" Garry looked at the lake waiting for an answer.
She slowly looked up to him with sorrow. "It..It is true, you should have this, um wave length. So I uhh fix that."
"Fixed it?" Garry questioned. "How?"
"I modified a Personality Split spell with a Greater Quantum Leap spell." She answered softly. He felt her stomach start to twist and turn.
"And this does what?" He ask, "And does it have to do with me bing here?"
"W-well," Twilight looked at her hooves, pawing at the loose sand. "You see, once I fond your plane of existence, I knew it was an alien world. I had to investigate it further. I tried to go to were this place is, but there was to many variables and uncertainties. So, I.." She paused. "So I thought maybe I can bring one of you hear then teleport them back with me as a passenger. But that proved to be impossible of well with our universes not being on the same wave length." Garry nodded. Twilight continued.
"So I though of a way around it. I weaved the two modified spells together. The hypothesis was that I would be able to split the alien's personality was materializing across the planes, manifesting two creatures with the shorter wave lengths. Once I brought them here, I would of teleport all three of us back to that plain then combine that beings together as they originally were when we get to the other side."
"What happen to me then?" Garry questioned further.
"During the process, it seems the beings, you" Twilight corrected herself. She looked up at Garry her eyes starting to water up. "The manifestation went according to plan, but when the two new you's were here in Equeatria, one of your wave length fluctuated above its Equestrian norm." Her throat went dry. She looked at Garry. She knew that he was smart, and he knew already of what she has done to him. Her fear of him not only resenting her forever.
Garry just nodded as she explained what happened to him. He had every right to be angry to her, he want to scream and yell at her for screwing with him at every level of his being. He want to denounce his so called love to her. He wanted to demand the creature next to him to send him back where he belong. However, that was what bothered him the most. He recognized that he should be angry, she should be feeling this way. But his brain was not registering it as if he was missing that part of him. Now to Garry it made since why he could use his 'colorful language,' or to give a pony that called him obscenities a piece of his mind, or wanted to fight others. He was purged from that side of himself. Not only that, but he could overcome the physical and emotional boundaries that would of stop him from loving Twilight otherwise.
Garry sighed loudly. "Well, thats explains many things. Why I'm a nice guy all the time. Why I'm passive all the time." he looked over to Twilight as she looked him. "And that's why I cant go home as well?"
Guilt hit Twilight right in the heart. She started to shed more tears at his question. She looked away from him, only nodded her head.
"I'm so sorry Garry." She breathed out highly. Garry was gonna have none of this. He open up his wing and brought her close to his side
"Twi, I should be angry, I should hate you for what you done. I should not be in love with you now." Garry said as Twi felt the warm embrace of his body. Her body shook at the last part of his speech. "But you know what?" He gently put his fingers under her chin, gently lifting her head to meet his gaze. "I forgive you, in fact I should thank you Twi." Twilight sniffled and white her tears with the fetlock of her hoof.
"Thank me?" she quivered.
"Yes." Garry said softly. "When I was back home, Earth, I was a very angry person, very bitter to others." He used his other free hand and plucked one of his white feathers. He twirled the feather in his hand for a moment before he continued.
"But now, it seems that all that anger, bitterness and hatred is all gone, and I feel..." he paused at he look at Twilight with his wither in hand. "I feel light as a feather." He smiled as he felt a small breeze took his angelic feather from him, waving and dip in the breeze its destination unknown. Twilight smiled as the two watched the feather floated away.
"I love you Twilight," Garry whispered to Twilight.
"I-I love you too Garry," Twilight reciprocated.
The white feather floated freely in the air. The breeze took it up further into the clouds. Suddenly a shadowily figured violently grasp the white feather in its hand. The shadow figured look at the feather between his fingers. The figure took a quick sniff before he crippled the delicate feather in its grasp. It looked over from his cloud perch. The figure saw a purple unicorn and a monkey with white wings cuddling on the side of the beach. It smiled baring his fanged teeth.
"So, Garry Angel lives again among the sheep." His voice low and demonic. "And not only is he fucking that purple whore, he got himself some wings." The figure grin even bigger as he stared at the two lovers below. "Her flesh shall taste oh so sweet when his so called 'friends' fall beneath my will. And when I'm finished with them." He raised his fist that contained the disfigured white feather. "I while take back what was mine, Garry Angel. Soon you shall see." With a chuckle he turned himself into a black cloud of smoke, retreating to the Ever Free Forest.

Hey Guys guess who is back!
Sorry for not writing, life gets in the way and stuff. But I promise that I will finish this fic! Hope you enjoy
Please critique and any spelling errors I may have.
"All right then, if pegasi can do it, then come high water so can I!" Garry prep talk himself from the top of Twilight's library balcony. It bothered him so that he had a pair of wings, but he could only manage to move them slightly. Today he was going to learn how to use his wings with the help of his love truly, Twilight Sparkle.
"You can do it Garry! Its just aerodynamics mix with gravity!" Twilight shouted from below. Garry gave a nervous wave to her. He took a deep breath, looking over the the edge. He estimated that it was it look like a thirty foot drop. He took one step and fell.
The the air wrap around his body as he fell head first. Garry wings were straighten out, letting the air glide across his feathers. The ground was coming closer and closer to Garry. His heart was pounding as he fell. He flapped his wings trying to get lift. He failed to do so. He panicked as he was only mere feet away from a bad fall. His heart stop dead cold. his eyes closed reflexively.
Then he stopped in mid air.
He open his eyes and saw Twilight had a hold of him with her magic. She gently put him down on his feet. Garry rubbed his sleeves of his white shirt like trying to dust himself off.
"Well," Garry started. "How close was I this time?" He questioned.
"Forty-eight attempts and forty-eight failures. I say your doing well?" Twilight smiled nervously with a squee
Garry face palmed, "Twi, I don't think this 'natural instincts' approach to flight is doing me any favors."
Twilight looked to the side as she tapped her chin with a hoof. "Why don't you ask my friend Rainbow Dash to help you out!"
Garry folded his arms and gave Twilight a deadpan look.
"What?"
"The Rainbow Dash that give me extra rain on me when a storms rolls in to town?"
"Yes."
"The Rainbow Dash that despises my guts because of what I am?"
"Ummm..."
"The Rainbow Dash that accused me of theft?"
"I told her that I loaned you those books."
"The Rainbow Dash that spread rumors that I am some evil deity from Tartarus."
"I told everypony that your an extraterrestrial being from another universe."
"The Rainbow Dash that.."
"Okay, okay, I get it, you two don't see eye to eye," Twilight sighs.
"Quite literally and fugitively speaking." Garry said with a slight chuckle. Finding that his remark carried no amusement to Twilight, he clear his throat. "Anyway, I think these wings are more aesthetic then practical." Garry expanded his wings and gesturing to them.
"Thats not true!" Twilight retorted. "Scans of your nerve ending show that they are indeed capable of control."
This was true. Twilight sat down with Garry a while back. She tried to explain were Garry's unique magic origins are. Accidentally she discovered that not only that the wings Garry used not only are capable of movement, but also imitate magic similar of how other pegasus use there magic for flight and control of the weather.
Garry shrugged his shoulders again with a small smile. Twilight used her magic to materialize a quill and a stroll. "Well lets see; falling from the balcony, check," Twilight check off a square. "Asking advice from other pegasus, check. Looking through flight books, check. Tips from Rainbow Dash." She looked at Garry as she trotted in circles around him with a single raised eyebrows. "Check. Hmmm what about..." Garry started to zone out.
He looked up to the sky. So I have magic like an unicorn and have the potential to fly high in the sky. But what the point? Garry looked back at Twilight with a smile on his face. Well as long as Twilight is happy and safe, then there is really no need is there? His train of thought gave him comfort that he dearly need for his failures to preform flight.
"Oh! Why didn't I think of that before!" Twilight bounced.
"Oh ah what?" Garry came down to Equetria. He needed to ask Twilight why he had the urge to protecter her later.
"Fluttershy!" Twilight squeed. Her ears shot straight into the air.
"Um your yellow pegasus friend? What about her?" Garry scratched his head.
"She can teach you some flying techniques." Twilight used her magic to materialize her check list supplies. "She is not the best flyer, but she doesn't have to be! she can show you the most basics to get you going." Twilight clopped her hooves together in delight. She looked back at Garry head tilted, "What do you think?"
Garry tucked a finger under his chin, pondering the idea. Hmm Twi does have a point about just getting the basics down, plus she's the one who help me get back on my feet when I first 'fell' here. However, will she still be afraid of me? Garry nodded his head confirming his decision. "Worth a try."
Off they went. The angel from a different land with his purple marefriend off to see the kindest pony in all of Equestria.
It was high noon when Garry and Twilight reached Fluttershy cottage He noticed that there were a number of areas fenced off with chicken coops along with other various building to house animals. He glanced a pig trough. His mouth started to water at the mer thought of meat. Perhaps it would be possible to convince her to 'barrow' a chicken or a pig. His thoughts were quickly forgotten when Twilight knocked on the cottage's door.
"Who is it?" A gentle voice came from behind the door.
"Its me Fluttershy," Twilight called back. The door swung open, revealing a yellow pegasus with a pink flowing mane and tail. Her main covered her left side of her face, relieving only one light turquoise eye.
"Why hello Twilight what brings-" The yellow pegasus started before she cut herself self off. Her gaze shifted to Garry. She back away from the door, her head slightly bowed as her mane shielded her face from him.
She's not afraid of me, but she's not greeting me either. Progress. Garry thought to himself as Twilight spoke to her friend. "Sorry to bother you-"
"Oh no, um, its ok," Fluttershy whispered still not making eye contact with either of her guests.
"You see Fluttershy, I was wonder if you could teach Garry here to fly?" Twilight tried to coax the timid pegasus.
"G-garry doesn't have any wings." Fluttershy peeped out. Garry realized his wings were tucked behind his back. From her stand point she could not see what he was caring. With that, Garry unfurled his wings and spread them for full view. Fluttershy gasp in awe.
"Oh, oh my gosh!" Fluttershy said with an excited tone. She blasted through Twilight knocking on her back as she hovered besides Garry. "This is so...incredible! These wings are so pretty." She used her hooves to examine the wing. This caused some laughter from Garry.
"F-f-flu Ahhahahaha! Thats tickles!" Garry squirmed from her touch. He flapped his wings, causing him to raise the ground a mere half a foot before he quickly descended. "w-whoa!" he wobbled as he landed.
"Wow Garry, you actually flew off the ground!" Twilight complemented.
"Way to go Garry, yay" Fluttershy said in a gentle motherly voice. Garry rubbed the back of his head with a slight blush not making any contact with the two mares. Fluttershy giggled at the display of slight embarrassment.
"Well Garry, Twilight, I just made some fresh tea, would you both like to join me out back?"
Twilight smiled at her friend, "We would love to Fluttershy"
Garry, Fluttershy, and Twilight all sat around a table drink fresh herbal tea. To Garry, the tea cup felt like an espresso cup back on earth, but the tea was to die for. "Hmmm this is wonderful Fluttershy what is it?" Garry ask as he finished his cup.
"Oh, its a blend that i never heard before. I got it from a pony that wasn't from around here." Fluttershy blushed a bit. Twilight tilted her head.
"A new pony? How come I didn't hear about him from Pinkie Pie?"
"I don't know, he must of just came through selling his tea blend." Fluttershy looked at Twilight with some thought. Twilight hummed in agreement. This spiked Garry's curiosity, I wonder if news of an alien is spreading further then Ponyville?
"What did this stallion looked like?" Garry asked
"Oh he was very dashing." Fluttershy admired. "He had a long mane, kinda like yours Garry. He also had some red eyes with a dark coat hmmm." She explained.
Red eyes? This single thought ran shivers down his spine. The description seemed oddly familiar. "Fluttershy, were exactly did you meet this pony?" Garry said with urgency.
Just then the air started to stir. The clouds became to turn black. The mares and Garry stood in alarm. From the corner of Garry's eye he noticed a dark mist began to form in front of the three of them. The mist turned slowly began to take shape of an unicorn. First is body took shake. Dark blue fur started to form. This the pony mane to shake next. His mane style was similar to Garry's, short and dark brown.
The mist dissipated, leaving a pony left. His eyes were closed. Fluttershy quivered as the sight. Twilight stood next to her friend in a defensive stance. Garry stood in shock at the sight. He felt he knows this creature somewhere, He just knew it, like a long lost friend, exept he had a feeling this was no friend.
The unicorn open his eyes, revealing a dark crimson red eyes. He grinned, revealing menacing fangs. He spoke with a dark growl with a slight charm.
"Garry, Fluttershy." Then he looked to the purple unicorn, now wearing a fierce face. "Whore" he growled at her.
"Just who are you!" Twilight stomped at the intruder.
The pony chuckled devilishly at the brave unicorn. "My my, it seems some unicorn has her mane in a knot." He chuckled again. "I have any names, But Im sure if you truly want to know, you should ask your winged pet who I am." A shot of adrenaline screamed through Garry. That voice, he knows that voice.
"No, no you cant be real, your just a dream!" Garry pointed a shakily finger at the dark unicorn. He chuckled again.
"Oh I'm more then just a dream." He purred. Then his body began to change. He took his true form. He grew arms, legs, a human face. However his skin was a pure dark over tone. His nails on his hand seem more like claws. A dark aura steamed off his body.
Twilight seen enough. She tried to summon a fireball to throw at the new threat, but it seemed to come to pass. She grunted as she tried to further to achieve the spell. The demon cackled in amusement. Garry felt felt something, like static electricity building up.
"Having problems with your magic, Twilight Sparkle? " The evil figure snide at her. Fluttershy tried to flap her wings, but could not obtain any flight to flee. The demon took notice. "Where you think your going?" He made himself a shadow and slithered across the field to the party of frighten individuals. Half of his shadow crawled up Fluttershys body, freezing her in place. He places a hand on her cheek, caressing her check with a claw. "Don't you think I'm a dashing stallion?" Fluttershy inhaled sharply at his touch.
"Don't you dare touch her!" Garry shouted as he reach out to grab the unholy wraith away from her timid friend. It slithered away from the group and floated in mid air in full form.
"Ahhh yes that hidden fighting spirit from the ol' Garry Angle, was wondering when that will arise from the depths of your heart." He raised his hand, a crackling fire danced in his palm. Garry could feel the ground start to sizzle as if meat were on a frying pan. The mosnster before them gave all three of them murderous smile.
"Lets see how well your fighting spirit is when you and your friends are BURNED TO ASHES!! "
And with a simple flick of his wrist, Garry, Twilight, Fluttershy and her cottage at the edge of the Everfree Forest, were consumed by a giant column of blacken flame.

Awoken Potential
"NO!" Garry dashed and grabbed his lover and her friend in an instant. There was no time to escape from the giant flame column that was about to engulf them all. On reaction he crouch down and braced both the mares, covering himself and the others as best he could with his wings. A faint lavender glow surrounded Garry whole body. The fames seem to gravitate away from him. Both Fluttershy and Twilight shut there eyes and scream for there upcoming death. But when death did not come for the two mares, they open there eyes to hear the sound of a roaring flaming around them. Garry strained to keep up his new power afloat.
Sounds of various animal screaming in unimaginable pain echoed all around them. The smell of burning flesh stained the air. Then as quick as it came, the smell, the agonizing sound of pain and suffering, the heat, the flame, stopped with out warning. Garry released her friends and gazed upon the carnage around them. Horror filled there very souls of what they saw. All around them was painted black with caracole. The body of chickens, pigs, rabbits and other animals sizzled. There muscle and bone exposed. Fluttershy shivered as her life, her home, and her furry friends were taken away from here with a heartbeat.
The Demon rolled in laughter, causing the horrified group to shoot there gazes back at him floating in the air grabbing his gut as he bellowed. "AHAHAHAHAHA!! Yes such success such-" He stop as he saw that his two Equatrian natives survived his onslaught of death. Anger replaced his sicken sense of joy.
"How! HOW!! YOU FUCKING PEICE OF SHIT, YOU FOOLISH AN-" He stop his angry rant, returning to a more calm state. He chuckled. "It seems you grow stronger since we parted from one another, how every interesting." He purred as he rubbed his chin. He desended to his masterwork of death. Garry stood, his fist clench. His body was visibly shaking not from fear, but as anger. This anger, no, pure wraith, was boiling within him. He felt something boil deep with in, something powerful and grand was being cooked up deep inside of him.
Suddenly Fluttershy collapsed to the ground, teasers rolling down her face her voiced quivered barely able to produce speech, "you-you monster... Why...Why w-would you..."
"Do this?" The demon gestured to his handy work. He smiled to himself as we kneeled down and picked up a rabbit that some white coat left. Its lifeless eyes told of pure pain before it died. The demon look at the rabbit. Then he open his mouth and took a massive mouth full of the white rabbits belly. Its intestines squished against the monsters razor sharp teeth. Blood splashed around from his jaw and hands..
"Because," He talk with his mouth full, "I was hungry and I was bored." Fluttershy eyes dilated at the sight. Her ears faltered. She screamed a blood curtailing scream.
"AAAAAAANNNNGGGGGGLLLLLLLEEEEEE BOOOOONNNNNNYYYYYY!!!!!"
Twilight couldn't move. The sight of everything was to much to bear. Then suddenly, her stomach gave out. Her bile burned as it exited from her muzzle. Tears started to roll her face as well. "How...How can this happen...why couldn't I..." Twilight stammered, coherent thoughts were out of the question for Twilight.
If this keeps up he's gonna level everyone. Garry thought. He looked over to the petrified ponies. His fist glow in a familiar lavender color hue. I have to protect them, at any cost....
"Run..." Garry said in a low almost whisper voice to Fluttershy and Twilight.
That got both of the mares out o there trance. Twilight look at Garry stupefied, "W-wha-?"
Garry gave one giant thrust of his wings and bulleted at the demon. His fist cocked and ready to strike. Before the vile creature could say another word, his face met with a right hook with a force that could topple a tree. His body flew from the impact, dropping his meal. Immediately after Garry first strike, he threw a left hook. Making contact with a sonic clap of flesh hitting flesh and bone. The demon grunted in pain as it flew against the opposing force. Landing on he's back with a hard thud. on the blacken ground.
Garry landed on his feet, his fists burned with the impact of flesh and bone. He looked over his shoulder at screamed at the two bewildered mares. "GOOOOOO!! With out hesitation the two mares galloped away from the scene. He looked back at the disgruntled demon. Okay, they should be safe as long as I can keep him at bay, If I am feel this kind of power, surely everyone else here can too right? He walk in stride to the shadow figure. He puff out his chest to increase his small size.
"You think you can take lives and get away with?" The creature struggled to get up, grunting as it got to his knees. Garry saw an opening and went for it. With another great flap of his wings he sped towards the demon. He raised his knee and pounded it straight into his chest. The demon reeled from the impact. With enough momentum still carry the two of them, Garry heaved back tilting his wings to send them both into the the air at mach speeds. A sound of pain come out of the hell spawn as Garry flew past it. Then only a half mile away Garry stopped and waited with one fist closed around the other. Only waiting for two seconds the demon came to view.
With All of Garry's might, he slammed his fists into the deadly creatures face, causing it spike to to the ground like a volley ball. Garry gave chase. He position his body so that his feet point to the ground, legs pressed together and his arms raised behind his head, is wings flared up and past his head. He look like a living arrow. An arrow that was pointed directly to the demon that was plummeting at the ground. The demon hit the ground at megaton levels, followed by Garry landing on its chest, causing a powerful gust of wind to push back the derby left on the battle field. Dirt and ash erupted around the two combatants.
When the dust cleared, Garry grabbed the demon by the throat, and bring him in close to his face. "Well think again, agents of destruction!" Garry growled at his advisory. The demon spat black blood into his face. Garry winced at the body fluid.
"So," he coughed as he spoke in a dark tone. "I see you can do some fancy thing ay?" He put a hand on Garry's arm. "Well then, Mr. Angle ," he squeezed his arm with pressure that would of crushed a normal human into mush. Garry let go of the demon screaming in pain. Garry could here his bone starting to give to the incredible pressure. The demon shoved him away. Garry stumbled and await something else to happen, but that came was nothing.
"So this is the Garry that I keep hearing about? The alien that has wings and has the strength to chop down a tree with his bear hands? Pah!" He shook his head folding his arms. "These ponies have such a way with rumors don't you think?" Garry charged, swinging at him with a left hook. The demon dodged Garry with his arms still crossed. "You know Garry?" The demon queried as he ducked from Garry's crescent kick. Upon recovery, Garry tired to elbow strike his opponent in his chest. But it seems the demon say this follow up from a while away, With a single hand grasped Garry's elbow.
"Can you feel it Garry?" His hand grasp harder on Garry's elbow. Garry felt like he was being torn apart from the inside out. Out out thinking Garry threw off the demon grip, then did a cut kick to give some some breathing room. The demon stumbled back. "You and I, were the same," he pointed pack and forth between them, "We both have so much potential, well more me then you, but thats besides the point." he raised a claw like a professor that made a major discovery, "The point is my winged friend is that this place is plum full of ponies to have fun with," He said with a wicked grin.
"Fun?" Garry repeated. "You think mass murder and world wide panic is fun?" He spat out.
The demon hissed, "Oh and you think laying around fucking horses, and play my little experiment with the whore of a creature is better? My my how the mighty have fallen." He tsk at Garry. "Well, it seems we got to fix that now shall we."
The demon pounced at Garry like a wild animal. He raised is forearms to defend himself, but to no avail. The force knock the duo in the skies. With a shriek of pane the demon dug his claws deep into Garry's shoulders. Crimson blood oozed from the new wound. With a full three sixty spin, The powerhouse of a foe lunge Garry into the burned wreckage of whats left of Fluttershy's Cottage. Garry hit the wreckage with a varies crunches of burnt wood, causing to gain more cuts and bruises. The wrest of the cottage fell on top of him, pinning him.
The angle struggle to get free, know full well that the demon would hunt him down. Moments later Garry heard a sound of a clap, and the surrounding wood blew past him with gushes of violent winds. He struggled only to get heaved of the ground from his air. He a scream in pain. The demon paid no attention as he levitated into the air.
The demon let go of Garry only to be replaced by a quick blow to the get. Garry let out a painful exhale. Then a furry of punches and kicks faster then the eye could track bombarded Garry, keeping him afloat in the air. Garry tried to block his opponents constant punishment. But it seems that the demon was wearing him down, only punching broken and bruised parts of his body, ribs, his fractured arm, and his face. His face was bloodied and swollen. His left eye was swollen shut. He felt his ribs were on fire and breathing was labored for him. Even the pulsing adrenaline could not stop the pulsing messages of pain. Garry noticed from the corner of his eye that the two of them were slowly drifting towards Ponyville.
He felt himself be grabbed by his wings. Garry looked back in horror with is good eye. "All the best Angels must fall from heaven don't they?" With an angered grin, the demon gave a quarter twist. Garry screamed in agony, his brain on fire from the overpowering stimulus of pain. The demon took it upon himself to start to spin himself and Garry around and around, gaining speed faster and faster. The demon could here the bones and muscle meshing together in a symphony of pain.
With enough centrifugal force, the demon threw Garry straight at the Ponyville Town Hall Clock. Garry heard the sounds of wood, metal, glass and bell tones as he crashed into the clock and came out the other. He hit the ground with enough force to cause a small human sized crater.
Garry couldn't move, couldn't see. The only sense he could manage was his hearing. The sound of a loud ring is all he could hear. but after a few moments he could hear the soft shrill of ponies voice in wide spread panic, growing louder and louder. He could hear foot steps come closer to him. He knew those foot step. He braced his body as best he could for another onslaught of pain. He felt himself lean upward. Then the strangest thing happened. He felt someone press there back to his crumpled one. He turned his head to see the demon sitting against him one knee bent to give support to one of his resting arms. He look as if he was out on the beach enjoying the sunshine.
"You know Garry," he started, his tone not as dark nor malicious as before, "I have the upmost respect from you, being here with these simple minded ponies." The sound of panic and smell of derby was in the air, but Garry didn't notice, he was to confused and to much in pain to notice his surroundings, the only sound he could comprehend was the voice of a different creature he just fought with moments ago.
"I mean, I could never live with these animals, to blegh!" He turn his head slightly to meet the gaze of Garry. "That is until you decided to go native on me.." He waited for Garry to respond, when nothing come out of the angels lips, the demon continued. "I really wish this would of gone differently, really I would," He said sounding as humble as he could. He looked straight ahead to see ponies all staring at the the two. "I just wanted your -ahem- purple lady friend, but you got to be a stupid Guardian Angel to her. And know look 'ach ya." He looked back at him, a disappointed look on his face. Garry turn his head back, hanging low coughing up blood. The demon smiled at the sight.
"And that," He started to get up. Garry's dead weight cause him to fall to the ground. The demon dusted himself off as he continued. "Is my cue ladies and gentlemen of the equine race." His voiced start to get loud. Garry felt his breath cut short as he felt palms grasping his windpipes closed. He was slowly lifted off the ground, reeling and shivering in pain.
"Behold your new lord of this land!" He bellowed as his free hand started to glow, turning into a black spear point. He trusted his new spear arm towards Garry's heart. Ponies gasp in horror as for what they were about to see.
Just then a golden and a dark blue beams of magic hit the demon, causing the shriek and stumble back. His arm drop to the ground, black blood gushed from his open wounds. Garry dropped to his knees ground like a bag of potatoes. His lung burned as he inhaled deeply, greatly appreciating oxygen back into his beaten body.
"PRINCESSES! GAH!! UNTIL NEXT TIME GARRY ANGEL, UNTIL NEXT TIME!" The demon bellowed as the turned into a cloud of black mist and retreated away from the scene. Garry's vision start to fade to black. He heard the the sound of clopping hooves galloping towards him. He turned his head to see a purple haze followed by a bright white and a dark blue coming towards him.
"Twili-"Garry said in a raspy voice before he collapsed onto Twilights back.
Garry sat in a wheel chair in a white hospital gown. Wings fell lifelessly to its sides. The room he occupied was completely dark with only a single over head light. Voices that seemed to be distance in tone, but familiar in a way, echo throw out the room. His eyes fix on a table made of out verity of different types of swords. The table top mode out of mostly broad swords to katanas circling and overlapping to make the surface of the table. The swords were sat upon there flat side inside of there sharpened ends. However one blade disobeyed the normal design of the table, making it alluring to Garry.
The pommel of the sword had a blazing sun on the right being overlap with a full moon on the left. A soft white seam separating the two symbols. Past the pommel the grip shimmered from the same crystal material that Twilight used to record Garry's home. The crystal was smooth, long and slightly wide, suggesting to be held with two hands. It too had seam to running up the grip. The hand guard follow suite with the pommel. The right side was plastered with a gold half sun at the center. The rest of the guard extended out via sun shine rays. on the edge of the guard had a golden chain. At the end if that chain was a large white feather dangling freely. On the left side of the guard, it had a white crescent moon towards the center. The grip extended out with designs of dark blue clouds that swirled with one of another. Also following suite with the sun part of the sword, there was a dark blue chain that had a smaller dark blue feather attached to it. The white seam spit the guard in half.
The blade was the most conflicting of the sword. To Garry, it was as if a blacksmith decided to put two different types of sword and split the difference between them. On the moon side of the blade was a dark blue blade, almost pure black. The blade seemed to go straight for a bit, then curve into its crescent shape. The inside of the crescent seemed to be sharpened will the straight part of the side of the sword was sharpen on the outer.
The sun portion of the blade was different. Its was similarly design of a falchion. The blade was coaxed in a golden material. Its point met were the curve of the crescent curve began. It had runes inscribe on both the sun and moon side of the blade, one that which Garry did npt understand.
Garry tried to get out of his chair, but his muscles disobeyed his commands. He grunted as he strain himself. The voice seemed to increase in volume.
"...Twilight he's dangerous!..."
"No...he is not!"
"He completely leveled town square, Plus that...that...thing seemed to know him."
"Come on sugar cube, we both kno' that he was tossed like a hay bale in a rodeo."
Garry heard the soft sound of what it seemed to be like a whimper. It sounded like Fluttershy. Garry tried even harder in his endeavors to get out of his chair to reach that sword, it was as if he needed it. The voices continue, getting louder and more clear as he struggles continued.
"Twilight," a motherly voice echo in the chamber. "Im sorry to have to tell you this, but I must take him back to Canterlot for questioning." Garry heard gasp from many different voices. Questioning? They think I was the one with the sole intent of destroying the clock tower? This gave Garry more instinctive to get out of that imprisonment of a chair. His muscle control started to return control. He slowly lifted himself out of the chair, but loss his balance and landed chest first to the cold ground. His chair seemed to dash away from him disappearing into the darkness. He grunted in pain as he tried to get to his knees, but pain ravaged his body. He gasp loudly. He placed his elbows on the table, the swords cut his arms as the crawled onto the table. A certain chain pendent swung loosely from his neck. Garry chuckled to himself for he new exactly were he was.
"Please Princess....please I can explain..." echoed the voice of Twilight
Twilight... Garry thought. I have to wake up. I have to fix this, I need to fix this! Garry reach his goal. With final strength he reach out to the sword.
As soon as he touch it, Luna vanish with a poof of smoke. The sword removed all of his pain. A lavender aura overtook Garry. The table vanished. he floated to his feet. He grab the sword with both of his hands getting the feel of the weapon. It felt lighter then a feather. This surprised Garry. He examine it closer as the lavender aura dissipated. Just then the runes lit up, causing the seam to glow. Then the sword split into two. The sun portion in Garry right hand, followed by the lunar in his left hand.
The sun sword had different notches and gears on the non sharp part. Garry looked at his lunar blade were the two were once once noticing receiving mechanical parts for the sun portion. As expected, it seems the the sword as as either two independent blades or one unison instrument.
A soft chuckle filled the room, He knew that chuckle. He turned around to see the vile demon lean against a obsidian wall with his arm crossed his chest.
"Daaaammmmnnnn Garry, That's blade look like a killer, intact they look like two certain ponies hmmm?" He mused. "I mean just look at the Luna blade, If i were to judge you, I say you deeply, deeply look up to a broken princess."
That was all he said, for Garry speed across the room, swinging the lunar part of the blade at the demon. The crescent curve of blade a clean cleave at the demons neck, clearing it from its body, along with getting it wedge in the wall. The demon spirt of black blood all over Garry.
"She is not broken, she is more of a person then you...you seek destruction and death with no remorse. She on the other hand," Garry looked at the dismembered corse, "had make amends for her sins. You should take some notes." Garry spat his venomous words at his fallen opponent.
The severed head, gave a wicked grin. "Oh I'll take notes on how to break you, then take what back is mine." He winked.
Garry had enough of this. He left up his foot and stomp on his head, splattering it to pieces. With frustration, he pulled out his crescent from the wall with a quick thrust. When he pulled it out, he saw a weak beam of light from the massive crack wall.
"A way out..." Garry realized. On instinct he brought the two blades together. The two magically fuse back together into one. With a quick strike against the damage wall, crumbing like a wreaking ball against a congregate building. A bright light blinded him.
"Come hither, Sir Garry, come hither to the light..."
"Luna?" Garry questioned as he stumbled into the light.
Garry slowly open his eyes. Light slowly filled his weary eyes. He saw Rarity holding Twilight near, while Twilight was holding back her tears. Spike was on sitting on the edge of Garry's bed, trying to comfort the traumatized Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash perched on top of the book case, showing indifference of the situation, and Pinkie Pie no were to be seen. Applejack with an angry scowl, confronting the Princess.
"Princess, with all due respect, but I think yer barking up the wrong apple tree," Applejack protested
"Oh?" Princess Celestia queried.
"That there feller has put himself in harms way to protect Twi and Fluttershy from gettin' seriously hurt! For Land Sakes Princesses! Look at him he's..." Applejack stop her rant of the princess. She and her friend all went wide eyed.
"Oh my gosh Garry!" Twilight teared as she leap from were she stood straight onto Garry chest, causing to wheeze in pain. Twilight seemed oblivious about Garry's injuries. "Garry! oh Garry!" Twilight cried into his chest. The feeling of what could have happen to him if he did not survive the little scuffle with that demon sinked in. With tired arms he wrap them around his marefriend.
"Garry! I thought you were gonna be griffon food for a few days!" Applejack gasp.
"My goodness dear, you gave us all a mighty scare, especially Twilight here!" Rarity gestures to the two lovers. Rainbow dash made a disgusted noise sticking out her tongue at such a sight.
Garry would of enjoyed it the moment, but it seems reality had something more for him. He realized that Princes Celestia was in the room with him. And if he remembered correctly from his odd dream he just experienced, he was about to be to be taken away for questioning. To Garry, be held in front of Celestia for intense questioning doesn't sound so appealing.
"Princess....Celestia....." Garry rasped out. "Dont...take....me...away...."
"Im sorry Garry, but from what the reports from my guard ponies," Princess Celestia said in a firm tone, "it appears my letters from my student has proven false." Garry heart sank as the sound. Twilight stopped her crying. She turned to her mentor with horror.
"Princess, please I can explain he's not dangerous! He's not! He's not the same as the creature we all saw."
'You and I, were the same' The words of that demon echo in his head.
'The point is my winged friend is that this place is plum full of ponies to have fun with'
I have the upmost respect from you, being here with these simple minded ponies.
'I just wanted your -ahem- purple lady friend, but you got to be a stupid Guardian Angel to her. And know look 'ach ya.'
'PRINCESSES! GAH!! UNTIL NEXT TIME GARRY ANGEL, UNTIL NEXT TIME!
Oh I'll take notes on how to break you, then take what back is mine Garry remembering his dream encounter with the demon.
What is mine... Garry pondered on those very words that his demonic fellow likes to saw over an over. Then while his mind wondered about Twilight's research. Wasn't he split into two entities when he was forced here? The more he thought about the demon; the way he knew his name, the constant assertion that he was about to claim 'what was his,' his looks, his quirks, the more he feared for the worse. With a free hand he wiped his cheek. Still wet like sap was the black blood that the demon spat into his face.
"Twilight," Garry said with more strength. "Can you do a DNA analyzer spell on this?" He gestured to his wet hand. Twilight look back at Garry, then at his hands, wiping her tears away with her fetlock. The Princess, along with all the other ponies, stared at the broken angel with a questionable look.
"Um, s-sure I can do that..." Twilight sniffled as she casted the spell. The Princess raised an eyebrow.
"What will this accomplish?" Celestia quarried once again. Twilight gasp in shock. Her eyes wide.
"What is it sugar cube?" Applejack said.
"Yes please Twilight, what is the matter?" Rarity tilted her head.
"T-Twilight?" whispered Flutterhsy.
"Twilight, What did you find?" Celestia waked up to her, rubbing her back.
"Its...its...." Twilight trailed. Garry just closed his eyes and leaned back onto against a pillow. With a heavy sigh he said the very words that he feared ever since he discovered of how he came to be in this magical land of talking ponies.
"That creature and I, we are one of the same person."
Growing A Pair.
Garry heard to front door open. Who could that be? He look over at the clock on Twilights night stand. It was midnight.
"Twilight, I'm home," echoed a boyish voice. "Garry? You around big guy?" A quick jolt of fear pass through him. Spike was home. He knew that the young dragon slept in Twilight's room. Garry could hear foot step climbs the stairs. He pulled out Twilights sheets, making sure he did not disturb her in anyway. As he did so, he felt his entire body felt sore to the core. Yow! Geez, Twi what did you do to me? Garry dismissed the thought. With much haste, he quickly found his pants. He didn't even bother putting on his boxers. He felt a chill over his chest. He didn't remember if he had his short on or not. He heard footsteps coming up the staircase.
"Twilight you up her-"
"H-hey Spike, where ya been my good ol buddy ol pal you." Garry interrupted Spike as he open Twilight's door. Trying his best to just sweep the prior event under the rug.
Spike look up at Garry. "Oh hey Garry, what's going-" He stopped. With horror he stared at Garry. Pointing a claw at the human. "You...you..." Spike stammered over his own words.
Oh no, he knows. Garry put up his hands in defense. "Spike I can explain, t-there was champagne involved, and-and one thing led to another. And ahh there was an um, an explosion. Yeah! an explosion happen and.."
"You..you have w-w-wings Garry."
"There was a tornado in her room plus a stink bomb and-" Spike words hit him like a brick wall. "What did you say?" He whispered in fear, hoping he did not what he thought Spike just said.
"Look behind you," He pointed his claw over his shoulder. Fear took hold of Garry face. He slowly turned his head over to his right shoulder. There. In front of his eyes ways one bright white wing folded neatly against his back. He reach over with trembling hands to his new amandage. Sure enough they were real white feathers attach to real white wings. This is unbelievable.
"This- I-" Garry trying to make a coherent sentence. Spike still staring at the knew Garry. He just ran past the dragon.
He opened the main door and ran out. He could hear that Spike was calling to Twilight in a panic manner. Come on, can't she rest? Pushing the thought aside he ran faster than he had ever ran before.
Garry felt as if he had a new body to run around in. He was running so fast that it seem like a colorful blur of the night tell he stop at the one place he can collect his thoughts. He was at the park with the lake. This time Luna wasn't around. This was perfect for Garry. He slowly walk up to the body of water. He got on his knees and look at his own reflection. Everything was there, his short brown hair. His hairless face. The emerald green eyes. The only thing that change is that he wasn't his own body. He actually had muscles on his body; abs, biceps, triceps, pecs. He got everything. This ran a shiver ran down his spine. Twilight, what have you done to me?
His new wings ruffled on their own, sending a tingly feeling up Garry's spine. This made im jump a bit. He tried to command his new limbs, but nothing happen. He wondered if he had control of any kind. He reach over his shoulder and pinch his wings. A sharp jolt of pain ran through his body. Alright if I have feeling, then I must have be able to move them right? He sat down and concentrated. he search his mind, feeling around to see if their was any way he could control his new body parts. He move everything he knew how to move.
Nothing.
Grunted in frustration he got to his feet, but it seemed that his wings had another plan for them. His left one seem to pop open at random. The momentum caused Garry to topple over and cut his fore arm pretty bad. More pain passed through him. "Oh for...gah!" Garry scream in frustration. He looked over to the slightly open wing. "This is your fault ya know!" Point an angry finger at the culprit. More pain engulfed him, With his good arm, he placed a hand over the wound. He felt his arm blood on his hand. He felt something warm under his hand. Garry looked down at his hand. His eyes went wide.
A faint glow of lavender filled his sight. The warm feeling persisted for a quick moment, before it disappeared along with the light. He felt no pain whatsoever. He lifted up his hand. It would seem to be that he had completely healed up. Not even a scar could be found.
"What the-" Garry said in disbelief, flexing his forearm. He was astonished at himself. He couldn't explain it. He looked at the hand that produced the glow. It was a normal hand. nothing new about it. Still had the calluses from work and still the same fingers that he knew from birth till now.
"Weird," Garry said to himself. He felt his own wings ruffled at his response. This was going to get old really fast for Garry. He sighed heavily. He heard something from the distance. It was faint. Garry heard a voice, no two voice, come this way. He looked around trying to pinpoint the the source.
"...I'm telling you Twilight, he had this look in his eye," Said a younger voice.
"Spike this is no time for jokes! We have to find him." A feminine voice echoed the night.
Of course he had to wake her up, why would he not of? Garry thought angrily. However, his angrily slowly subsided as he peered into the night. It has a calming effect to him. He heard Twilight's hoof steps along with a pitter patter of smaller foot steps following.
"There he is!" Spike exclaimed. Garry didn't move from his current spot on the ground. He heard Twilight spoke.
"G-garry?" He didn't move. He just sat there like stone. He felt hoof step stop next to him. Followed by the warmth of fur next to his side.
"Garry?" Twilight said more softly. Again no response from him. Twilight took this as a sign of anger, a sign of resentment and smite targeted to her. Tears began to flow down her check. "Garry, please say something, anything," she paused before speaking again in a more pleading tone. "Please." This did nothing for Garry, still had a fix gazed at the night scene laid in front of him. Twilight nudged him, trying to snap out of his coma-like trance. "Garry, please, d-don't be mad at me, I didn't mean to-" A whimper escaped Twilight's lips, but was immediately cut off as a swift arm grab her by the barrel. She squeaked in surprised. In a low forgiving voice Garry spoke.
"You know why I come here to this park?"
Twilight sniffled, "N-no."
He looked down at her. Giving a warm smile he continued. "This place," he gestured to the park then looked back at her, "is so peaceful. So gentle, so relaxing." He patted her head while he rubbed her belly in his embrace, comforting her as best he could.
"This place doesn't judge you. It doesn't get mad at you. It just," he paused once more. "It just let all emotions go," using a hand to make it wave in the wind. He would hope that Twilight, being incredibly smart she would get the hint that Garry has forgiven her about her transforming her. However it seems that Twilight failed to observe that in her emotional state. Her watery eyes look up at him.
"I'm so sorry Garry, you must hate me for doing this to you." She let all out, burying herself into Garry's arms.
"Twilight I don't-" Garry started.
"Im such a stupid unicorn!"
"Oh come on Twi-" his tone changed into a surprised annoyance.
"I made you look like a monster" Twilight balled even harder. From behind, Garry heard a face palm from Spike. He rolled his eyes at Twilight. With a quick scoop, he cradled her into his chest. He sat up from where we was kneeling. This made Twilight stop herself in her tracks.
"Twilight," Garry looked into Twilights lavender orbs," hush your pretty little head," Garry whispered as he started to walk back to the library. Twilight sniffled a bit in response. "How about we get ourselves to bed and we will figure this stuff out in the morning." She nodded. Garry heard some snickering. He look over at Spike, trying his best to contain himself.
"Geez you two are worse than Rarity's nervous breakdowns." He snickered harder at them. Garry rolled his eyes and just walk back to the library with Twilight in his arms. He couldn't be mad at Twilight. He loved her and trusted her. He knew deep down in his gut that if Twilight was serious about 'fixing this' then he would have any worries.
Days turned into week as Twilight tried every trick she knew. From the classic 'Control, Alternate, and Remove.'
This had no effect on Garry.
She also tried to quantumly alter his wings, zapping out of them existence.
No effect.
Spell weave a controlled invisibility spell with a numbing the white appendages.
No effect.
Twilight even went to the extent of time travel to fix her wrong doing.
Failure of spell when she tried to go into Garry's timeline. All seemed hopeless for Garry.
He was laying on top of the tallest part of the oak library observing the stars. His arms, legs and wings were sprawled out open. The bright twinkles of the stars seemed therapeutic to Garry. He let out a relaxing sigh. Luna, you know how to make a great sky. Garry thought to himself with a smile on his face. But, a single train of thought made him a bit more anxious for his mare friend. He frowned as his thoughts engulfed him.
He was worried that Twilight's determinism to fix him was putting a strain on her. He remembered that she would stay to the extreme late hours (even for him) studying different spells. He felt guilty that he wanted to get rid of the pesky wings as soon as possible. Yes they were good looking, but it seemed to change him even further then he noticed months ago when he arrived here. He shifted his head to the side, looking over his advantage point of where he sat.
He remembered how Twilight explained how he got his wings. According to Twilight, his wings was a result of a transformation spell. The spell work, but it had some stranger effects on Garry. The magic that entered his body should have done as instructed by the spell caster. This, however, seemed not to be the case. The magic that entered him somehow bonded with him, unlocking some 'trait' inside of him. Locking a part of Twilight's magic inside Garry's body. It all made sense when she laid it out in front of him, except for one thing. This new type of magic that Garry could use.
Twilight was perplexed on how an alien like Garry would come close to cast any such ability to use magic to the contrary of what he had told her about his world. She tried many test to discover how her magic somehow fused with his magic. But it seems that no matter what Twilight did, all of her magic seemed to have no effect. She even went out of her way to try to blast him out of existence. Though the magic seemed to not effect him, it still hurt worse then getting struck by five busses on rush hour back where Garry lived. Why he would allow her to try to even harm in the first place was beyond all realm of reason for Garry. If it was to help Twilight out in any way possible, Garry would not hesitate to volunteer himself without notice.
Garry sat up and frowned once again. He loved Twilight. There was no question in his mind. That special night was more than credible evidence that the feeling is mutual for Twilight. But something seemed off. He couldn't shake the feeling. Sure, it was nice to be a well, nice guy, and not be bogged down by his emotional baggage he carried prior to his new equine style life. But it seemed...wrong. It felt as if a part of him was stripped from him. He had to ask Twilight about this. Maybe she would know something. But how he was going to ask something like that? Every time he would ask the methods of how he came here, she would just dismiss it as complicated magic. However, from the past months, Garry started to understand her a bit more. From her quirks, to her stresses and likes. But, more importantly, he noticed a couple of queues when she was lying through her teeth to hide the truth.
He jump down from where he was lying down. He open his wings up and glided down to the balcony that lead into Twilights bedroom. He landed with a thud. I really should practice not being so loud. He darted to the main door slightly ajar. He peered in. From where Twilights desk should be, there was only a wall of books. Garry step inside. Twilight's room was oddly messy: scrolls and books scattered on the floor. most of her personal books were not on her shelves where they should be. He heard the low whistle of magic from behind the wall of books. He looked over the the grandfather clock to his right. It was one in the morning Twilight. Gah, Twi, really? He slowly approach his mare friends.
"The...magical property of a magic surge can't be...purposely replicated." Twilight struggled to read out loud a tome. Garry raised an eyebrow.
"Twilight?" Garry asked, trying to look over the barrier of books.
"Though it is not un-uncommon that a magic surge causes the preformed spell to be amplified by a gradient from t-two to five." Twilight continued to ready in a groggy tone. Garry remove a particular stack of books thats up to his chest. He placed the books down on the floor. He look back at Twilight, resting his arms on the stack of books.
"Twilight, its pretty late, you should really get some rest." Garry said with concern. Twilight didn't noticed him.
Her head bobbed to another book on her messy desk. "Wing transformation spells: Category three: magical output five point three." Garry shook his head, he knew she was complete out of reality. He look over to a very large book to his left. He reach into his pocket and pulled out his glasses. Once on he recognized the book as an 'Encyclopedia of Known Magic Vol. III.' Twilight gonna kill me but... Garry pick up the large book with both hands. He raised the book high above his head and let go of the book.
THAWP!
"GAH!" Twilight shriek at the loud sound. He turned her head to the source. "Wha...Garry! don't drop my books! You almost gave me a hard attack" Her expression with a mixture of exhaustion and anger. Her mane with completely frizzed out of its original shape. Her coat was not in any petter condition: bits of fur clumped out of shape and stray hairs failing to flow evenly. Dark bags under her eyes look as if she was a zombie.
The sight of this made Garry heart sink. "Twilight, do you even know what time it is?" he ask.
"Yes its only five tell ten." she said with a confident tone.
"Riiiight," Garry glanced back the clock. He shifted his gaze back at Twilight. "If i'm not mistaken I say its one in the morning."
"One? Oh my...Is it really?" she paced a tired hoof on the side of e head.
"Twilight, you done enough for today," Garry said with concern, trying to move some more books out of the way.
"No! I have to find out what I did, there has to be something here to fix what I've done!" She stomping her free hoof on her desk, her ear twitching a bit.
"Twilight, you been up for days, your not talking to your friends." Garry hopped over the obstacle and kneeled next to her. "Your look like someone reanimated you. Twilight, please you really need to rest." Garry placed a hand on her foreleg.
Twilight lowered her head, avoiding his gaze. "But I can't stop Garry, I can't live with myself knowing that I ruined your life from what I did. I have to reverse it." Garry frowned at that response. He felt something tug against the back of his head. He cupped his hand on her cheek. A faint lavender glow radiated from his hand.
"Rest Twilight," Garry cooed. Twilight eyes suddenly shut. Her body fell toward Garry. He quickly reacted to catch her. "Whoa Twi..." Garry held her close. He could feel her breath slowly inhale and exhale. She was out cold. Garry didn't know what to do. He shrugged and got to his feet with Twilight in his arms. He quietly walk over to her enlarged then normal bed. With a free hand he lifted her sheets out of the way. Garry gently placed the now sleeping Twilight in her bed. He then place the sheets over her and kissed her on the cheek. Twilight hummed at that.
"Good night Twilight, sleep well." Garry whispered to her. He leaned back to his feet, look over to find a basket with a ball of a blanket snoring slightly. He shook his head, how Twilight didn't disturb Spike or vice versa. He yawned and started to get undressed. He started to undo his pants when his glasses fell of face and bounced under Twilights bed.
"Shoot," Garry whispered to himself. He got down on his hands and knees. He looked at the dark under bed. He could barely see the reflection of light from his glasses. He reach out and grabbed his glasses. But when he retract his arm, he bump into something sturdy. What ever it was it made a skidding noise. A black book slid from the the foot of her bed. Putting back the glasses back on he stood up and expected the new book.
Research on Interdimensional Beings
Garry pick up the book to examine it. This was the material that Twilight wanted to publish when its complete? Garry's curiosity started a tug of war with his morals. Maybe this will clear up some answers that he wanted to ask about his new life tendencies. However, this would be invading her private work. But this does include him as well. So does that mean that his property as well? He looked over to Twilight sleeping figure. Still It doesn't matter, he would still need permission from her.
Then Rainbow Dash's words struck him with force. The mystery of what Twilight did to him burned deep. He didn't care of the consequences. He need answers. He need closure. So with that final though process. he open the book and scanned its contents. Twilight's research was fascinating. He marveled at her work of equations and strong evidence. Thats when he flip to the middle of the book when he saw Three spells that stop him dead cold. His feet felt could hold him, his legs wobbled. His hand shook violently. Their on the page he fond three spells that was his nightmare fuel.
