Lewis supposedly ran away from his home planet, to escape a cruel and judgmental life-style. He wore his uniform for a while, before heeding his friend's advice and changing. Not much else is known about him.
Simon hails from Khaz Modan, but he was banished due to reasons he doesn't want to explain. He absolutely adores Jaffas, a sweet treat, and would never even think of betrayal.
They've known each other since Lewis's ship crashed into a field, and Simon helped him out of the flaming wreckage. They have saved some, and endangered others. They're inseparable, two peas in a pod. Best friends. It's safe to say they would do anything for each other.

However, recently Lewis has been acting really weird around Simon. As if he doesn't want to be there; just go and stay away forever. And he's been treating Simon weirdly, too. As if he were a fraud, but that can't be right. Simon isn't, and never has been, a faker. Why is this happening?
So, Simon went for answers. One night, they were both staying over at Yoglabs. Simon was supposed to be sleeping in his office, and Lewis was busy testing some new (and possibly dangerous) chemicals, when one decided he hated being treated like that by his friend. Simon barged into the Chemical Lab, demanding an explanation. Sadly, this caused Lewis to accidentally combine two chemicals, and he had to idea what would happen. The effect was a portal through time and space, that sent the dwarf and the spaceman rocketing towards a world of ponies.

And that is where our adventure begins.
