Love — it’s a something we all strive for. It’s the showing of affection to another, it creates bonds between beings. However—love can be misused and end up guiding people to their own demise. What would you do if you had to use the one you loved to survive?

In the far north, right outside the equestrian border, there lives a changeling hive inhabited by swarms of changelings. In a hive, all female changelings (except their chosen queen) are unwanted and frowned upon. They're either killed or thrown out of the hive, being forced to abandon their family and friends and inevitably dying by the harsh northern storms.

We follow one changeling in her banishment from the very place she was born, raised, and learned everything she knows; the only place she could ever call her home. How will she survive alone in the barren wasteland that is The North?
