Out of place; inspired by the colab ponyfall

She continued reading while I stood in the kitchen placing bread in the toaster. I pushed town the handle and waited. I looked back through the alcove to see Twilight with a uncomfortable expression. Her eyes continued to move from side to side still reading. I walked back into the living room and stood next to her.

"Something wrong?" I asked as I looked at the part of the page she was at. 'Anatomy'

I then looked to the left to see the anatomical picture of both a man and a woman. I looked back at Twi who had a minor blush at the image. My face reddened a bit. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened them back up reached around her. My face tensed at her quick startle from my movement. I placed my hand on the mouse and closed the page.

"How about we add this to that list of things we never speak of ever again?"

She nodded and I clicked on the Mozilla Firefox icon again, opening a new browser. I typed in YouTube on the search and hit enter. I clicked on the link displayed at the top and the normal YouTube page came up. Among my recommendations were a few episodes of FiM. I clicked on one of my favorites 'Luna Eclipsed' and turned the speaker on. I heard the toaster pop and walked back into the kitchen. After rummaging through the cabinets for a plate and taking out the toast I looked back to see Twilight smiling at the moving image of Spike dressed as a dragon and Twilight as Starswirl the Bearded.

I walked back into the living room and stood beside her. I noticed a tear roll down her cheek, yet she still smiled. I knelt down beside her. "You miss all your friends back in Ponyville don't you?"

She nodded her head I wrapped my arm around her while we watched the video play. The intro started and I went back into the kitchen and pulled a small knife from the droor and grabbed a jar of Nutella from the cabinet. I spread it over one of the pieces of toast and cleaned off the knife in the sink. I walked back into the living room and set the plate down my the cups of tea.

"Whats on that one?" She asked looking at the Nutella'd toast.

"Take a bite."

She reached over and picked up the piece clumsily and took a bite. She chewed it happily and swallowed.

"Pretty good?" I asked.

"Mmhmph"

We continued watching ponies while sipping the green tea and enjoying the toast.

Twenty commercial free minutes of ponies had passed. It felt pretty cool to have one of the ponies present as well or something of that sort. One of the few questions I had thought of over the last few weeks finally came back to mind.

"Hey Twilight."

She looked up to me.

"Are there violets in Equestria?" I asked.

She looked at the computer and seemed to think. She turned back up to me. "I really don't know. I don't think I've heard of or have seen one."

"Follow me." I said as I walked through the kitchen and family room and out the back door.

She followed me through the large spot of concrete and to the section of uncut grass. Among the larger tufts of grass and dandelions was a patch of small purple flowers.

Twilight stood next to me as I looked down to the small flowers. "Oddly enough, they're weeds. I don't know why but I really like them. They look nice."

Twilight leaned against me. "They really are. I still don't know if they're in Equestria though."

"Damn. Whatever." I shrugged. "I think I'll always have my own violet." I said as I placed my arm around her shoulder.

We looked at each other and shared a quick kiss. I looked back at the flowers and could swear I saw a certain purple unicorn in them.
