Before that the flimflam brothers had nearly succeeded at taking the Apple family's farm with their cider machines. Every time those boys came to town something horrid always seemed to happen to the apples. Apple Bloom walked into the house with her head hung low and without a word went to her room. This was not her usual behavior. Normally after school she would skip inside the house with a bright smile and ask everypony how their day was going. But today was different, and Apple Jack, upon seeing her sister like this, had to get to the bottom of this. Apple Bloom hadn't even bothered to close her bedroom door. She simply crawled into bed, got under the covers, and began sobbing. "Apple Bloom?" AJ said as she heard her baby sister cry "What's wrong? Did something happen at school today sugarcube?" "My face happened!" The little filly sheiked back. "Just look at me! I'm hideous!" Apple Jack was shocked. This was not Apple Bloom's usual behavior. She'd expect something like this from Sweetie Belle or Rarity, but not her baby sister. "Apple Bloom, what has gotten into you!" "Oh we wouldn't miss it" Flim said, winking over at Flam. Apple Jack and the brothers ate their meal. They made small talk and stayed in relatively good spirits. When they finished eating AJ cleared the table and smiled warmly at them. "If you boys wouldn't mind Ah' got something Ah' was hopin' to show y'all if ya got the time," she said taking the plates to the kitchen and putting latex gloves on her hooves. "Why of course ma'am", said Flim "Anything for a friend!" finished Flam. Suddenly Apple Jack was right behind them, shoving a rag against each of their faces. The last thing The flimflam brothers heard before fading into unconsciousness was apple Jack whispering, "Ah'm not your friend."

Flim, having an extreme aversion to ropes, tried to use his magick to get free, only to discover his horn had been removed. He looked over at his brother, seeing his had been lobbed off as well. He panicked and began chewing through the ropes. "Ah' wouldn't do that if Ah' were you sugarcube," Apple Jack's voice came from beside a nearby tree, where she was using a stick to poke at a small flame. "Not unless ya' wanna lose your teeth that is." The brother's eyes widened simultaneously as the golden mare casually made her way over to them, holding a rope in her mouth. She placed it on the ground in front of them. "Now Ah'm not much for gloating, but Ah ain't doin' what Ah'm about to do with out telling ya'll what Ah'm doin' and why first. First Ah'm gonna let ya'll try out your own product," she says pointing a hoof towards the pot of boiling oil "Then A'm gonna take out those lyin' fast talkin' tongues of yours and make y'all eat your words. And after that Ah'm gonna use that branding iron on each of y'all so ya always remember what ya did to my family. After that Ah'm gonna mulch ya down and use your bodies to fertilize my apple trees. She picked up two oven MIT's she had lying on the ground and put them on her hooves she then walked over to the boys with the pot, grinning widely. She carefully placed the pot on the ground and went over to But before he could utter so much as a sound, she smashed a toolbox she had placed a few feet away, pulling out a crude knife. Then she walked back over to him, no readable expression on her face. Maybe she was cutting him free, Flam thought. "Okay, talk." But before he could make a sound she pushed his head to the ground with one hoof, and with the other she lobbed out his tongue. It was now Flim's turn to piss himself upon seeing his brother choke and fall unconscious in a puddle of his own blood. He vomited profusely and screamed out in pure agony as AJ set back to work, slowly, meticulously pouring the scalding oil down the boys backs. Apple Jack looked down at her handywork, pleased with herself so far. The odors of piss, blood, and sweat mingled in the air. Flam was still unconscious and Flim was in so much pain he could only whimper and sob. AJ knew she still had a long way to go, but the sight of the brother's bubbling, blistering, bloody flesh had her so wet that she couldn't stop herself anymore.
