The story is a mix between MLP of course and Skryim where the long alliance between pony and dragon is broken and all of Equestria is in deep danger. Their only hope is the one, the Dragonborn

Equestria has been stable and in peace for centuries besides the changeling attack and occasional villain, but not a serious threat like this. The ponies have never thought they would ever have a war unless it was civil. But now a force much more powerful has betrayed the ponies and declared war.
