Like the rest of her friends, Rainbow Dash was willing to make a time capsule, full of mementos and a letter to her future self. Unlike the rest of her friends, she went back to add another letter - and found that somepony had stolen just her former letter, and nothing else. And every letter after that was stolen - hers, and nopony else's. With a bit of help, Rainbow Dash is able to deduce that her letter thief is a would-be special somepony with a secret crush and a temperament too timid to tell her directly. And so begins Rainbow Dash's quest to relate to her furtive admirer, her attempts to describe " The Real Rainbow Dash", and a steady spiral into introspection and self-consciousness.

Story is technically complete; i'm releasing it in parts because formatting is hard. Rated Mature for brief instances of strong language and sexual themes. Shipping implicit in the story. This story consists of two parts; The second part - Sol Solis - will likely not be released on FIMFiction.net, due to formatting guidelines. * As of Season 5, this story may be obsolete; It was written in the interrim period after Season 4. It's probably too late to go back and change things around, so hopefully you'll accept the story as-is.
