Vinyl Scratch, in the early days, made her living in Manehatten as a DJ for smaller clubs. It wasn't much, but one has to build their rep some how. Drowning her life with music, booze and loose ponies, she scrapped each day the best she could while burying resentment and pain of her past. It was one night that she spied a gray pegasus who wasn't enjoying her beats. Little did she know the meeting would change both her life and Derpy's.
