Chapter 4: Deathly Rage ... DIE! (Unedited)

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

We kept staring at each other, but Luna soon got this really creepy smile. She started to giggle and jump for joy. "Okay, that is really creepy and weird." I though. "Yes, I finally have a sparing partner!" Luna shouted with glee.

Rolling my eyes I took a few steps towards her, but she snapped out of her trance quick enough to block my attack. I kept swinging my Scythe at her, but she kept her guard up, blocking each swing.

I jumped 3 meters backwards, catching my breath. Luna was completely fine and was smirking. "You are stronger then any unicorn, but I see your not stronger then any alicorn. Your about on the same level with Cadence." she mocked.

I don't know what, but her words sparked anger in me, not a lot mind you, but still enough to make me annoyed. I charged her again, swing my scythe every which way, but Luna was still smirking, and still blocking. "How tough is this bitch!" I thought as my anger grew.

When my last swing came down, Luna swatted it away. She spun, slashing her sword at my side. I rolled, but still gained a deep gash in my side. I growled in rage. Any pain I felt from that slash, turned to rage quickly. I stood back to my full, bipedal height. Gritting my teeth, I charged Luna again, moving faster then I did earlier in the fight.

Luna's annoying smirk disappeared, and she went full battle mode. I could tell my attacks were harder to block as I swung my scythe time after time. It got to the point that every once in a while Luna had to dodge my swing instead of blocking it.

The more I missed, the more my anger grew. "DIE BITCH!" I screamed in my head. As my anger grew, so did the power and speed of my attacks. Luna was still dodging and blocking with relative ease, but this only fueled my anger.

Luna's horn glowed brightly, but that was the last thing I saw before I was thrown back at speed's a jet would have trouble keeping up with. When I hit the shield, it completely shattered. I was skidding across the ground, with my back to the ground. When I eventually came to a stop, my body was shaking with pain, but like last time the pain I felt was turning to rage. While I was gaining rage and losing pain, it was happening much slower then it was before.

My scythe spell had dropped and I felt strength leaving all areas of my body, but to only group in my horn. I heard the sounds of hoof steps, likely be longing to Luna, but I ignored them due to a half done rune taking up my vision. It was a transparent purple, but the edges of the rune glowed.

The half rune disappeared, allowing me to see clearly. "What was tha-" but was cut off by a mass-, no that's not enough to describe the amount off energy that jolted through my body. Any pain or rage I was felling earlier completely stopped, but what replaced it was hate. Not the kind of hate you have for someone your angry at, but the hate you feel when you want, no need to kill someone. And all that hate was pointing towards Luna.

I spun onto my stomach, then lifted myself to my hind hooves. I turned towards Luna, with a stoic face. Having time to walk towards me, Luna was only 5 meters in front of me with a shocked expression, but the expression soon turned to a joyed one. "Your still on good to fight? Okay, lets continue and end this, David. You had me on the ti-" But I did not let her finish.

I charged forward, faster then even Celestia could see due to her expression after I sent Luna flying backwards, breaking the sound barrier several times over. I had smashed a hoof into Luna's chest, most likely causing lung damage.

Luna rose from the earthy rubble that was once a hill, coughing up blood. Her horn lit up, healing her injures while I stated, "Yes Luna, lets finish this." In a demonic, deep voice. I summoned my scythe, but this time, the blade was a dark violet and the handle was black as shadows. In fact, the weapon had shadows flowing off of it.

Luna recreated her sword once again, and the bubble shield was once more placed around us. Luna, decide to charge me first, but her mistake was a fatal one. When she was a mere few inches from me, everything turned black and white and time slowed down. It was like when the hydra attacked me, but much slower. I spun around, smashing the blunt end of my scythe into Luna's chest. The sound of Cracking and breaking of bones filled the slowed air as my scythe connected with it's target.

Luna was sent flying upwards, blood shooting out of her mouth. She broke through the ceiling of the shield, but she when she started to fall, she opened her wings and started to flap them. She was coughing up a large amount of blood, but like last time, she used a healing spell to cure her pain and wounds.

She landed back on the ground, panting. I could sense a bit of fear in her eyes and soul, but obviously not enough to make her give in. I slowly started to walk towards her, making her step back in defense. As I walked, I placed my scythe over my shoulder. I looked over to the spectators, but only saw face's of fear and anger. Most of the anger was fuming off of Celestia.

Turning back towards my opponent, she was charging her magic. In a bright light, Luna shot a magical bolt at me, but I rolled out of the way. she shot another, then another, but I kept rolling and getting closer. After several bolts, I was upon her. I swung my scythe at her, but she dodged. After the missed swing, I repeated my swings over and over again and this time, each swing cut Luna, making lines of blood follow the tip of my scythe's blade.

After many more swings, I spun around and kicked Luna in the chest with one of my hind hooves. She skidded across the ground, but she flipped herself up quickly. Her face held a smile. "Wow, I am actually going to have to go full power on you." Luna said. Her horn glowed
brightly, so bright that I had to squint my eyes.

After a few seconds the bright light disappeared, leaving Luna. But Luna was different. She was armored with black metal and had a silver sword stuck in the ground next to her. The armor's breastplate had a moon, like the one on Luna's flank, embedded in it. The armors helmet had a blade over the front of her horn. Her mane was tied into a ponytail. Her sword had a moon as the hilt, but what was odd about the moon was that it glowed like the real moon.

Luna smiled, but charged soon after...
