slowly I opened my eyes. I let out a little groan. I felt heavy, like there was little energy in me to do anything. I looked around the room I was in.

Where was I? The room was oddly Spanish looking with olive colored walls and varnished furniture all around me. Things like bedside tables, drawers and dressers with candles scattered all around the room being the only source of light.

Between what I remember and where I am now I'm betting heaven isn't very subtle or some hillbilly's picked me up in there canoe and took me down to their cabin.

I tried to get up faster than I should off  "oh fuck... oh my god..." that was the most painful thing I've ever done. "Noted..." I groaned.

I put my hand to my che- wait what? I flexed my hand infront of me only there wasnt any fingers. I looked down my arm and felt it with my other arm. There was fur. Fur all the way down. I slowly moved my arms to my face. My face wasn't my face, it was differently shaped and I could no longer feel my nose. I then slowly moved my arms up to the sides of my head my anxiety rapidly increasing.. I couldn't feel my ears, where are my ears! But I could hear things so that means. I moved my arms further up my head and then I felt it. Two floppy little ears.

"I need a mirror" I said rapidly.

I ever so slowly moved my back up against the bed head. I looked into a mirror on top of a dresser directly in front of me. I was silent, I sat there for about a minute starring at myself turning my head side to side looking at myself. I'd done it. I don't know how but I don't care. I've turned myself into a pony.

I took the time to relax not thinking about how strange or creepy this was, but the fact that... well I've turned into a completely different species.

"Does that mean I can be with Pinkie Pie. Either I'm dead or this is really happening! I'm probably dead!" I said in a rather excited whisper. I took a look under the sheets. "Oh my god" I then put the sheets back down. "It's so much bigger" I said in shock.

As soon as I said that A giant mare the size of princess Celestia entered the room . She was ginormous. She had a long white horn, long beautiful wings and red hair and when I say red I mean like on fire red. Her roots are a shade of deep red but leading down it became a shade of stunning yellow and her coat was a bright white. But she didn't bare a cutie mark?

"oh my your awake" she said taking a hoof step back. I didn't say a thing. "how are you feeling?" she said.

"...good..." I said slowly nodding.

"well I'm glad your feeling better. When we found you you were half dead." The mare said. She walked over to a window and drew open the curtains revealing a giant beam of light shining threw. I covered my eyes with my hooves from my retinas burning out. "your very lucky we found you in time to get that poison out of you." she said.

"p-poison? *cough*" I said feeling light headed.

"That mermaid that attacked you. A mermaids bite kills in anywhere between a minute and an hour unless it is treated properly. The poison in her teeth that's how she poison's you" She said. I stared at her with a blank expression.

"Oh i'm sorry you must be so confused. How rude of me. My name is Sunny. I'm not hear to rob you or expect anything in return." Sunny said letting out a small laugh. Right now your safe nothing bad will get you here" Sunny said.

Slowly I nodded again "uh, thanks... Sunny" I said.

Reality was now beginning to kick in. Questions like, why I was here?, why am I like this, who am I, hows my Dad? and to spite how nice this lady was I think her presence was making me feel less at ease. Sunny picked up on this and took a seat next to me on the bed.

"don't worry yourself. Take as much time as you need. My family is about to have dinner. If your interested you can come down stairs to eat as much as you like with us." She said smiling. Sunny got off the bed and walked to the door

"Oh I almost forgot" Sunny said. She turned around and walked back to me. "Drink this. It should help with the little bit of poison still in you" She said. Her horn than sparked alive and somehow magically she made a jug and a cup appear. The two objects levitating Sunny poured whatever was in the jug into cup filling it up perfectly to the brim. "There you go. Make sure to drink it all" Sunny said levitating the cup towards me.

"Oh uh, thank you. Ill drink this right away" I said feeling scared and amazed at the same time.

"That's OK" Sunny said. She then walked out the door and then down some stairs

I looked at the drink in my lap. I took another feel of my face to make sure this was really happening. I looked at the drink for 10 or so seconds not knowing what to think of the brown... disgusting looking... medicine. I decided I should drink it so I picked up the cup gulping it down and putting it back in my lap quicker than I thought I could move.

My... hooves were trembling. The feeling of not feeling my fingers was starting to get to me. I tried to stretch out my fingers that weren't there. I took a deep breath to calm me down.

I begun to cough feeling the effects of that drink beginning to kick in. "Ugh, what is that?!" I said gagging on my own tongue. Suddenly I felt a little better. The pain that was sitting in my chest suddenly left.

I paused for a bit trying to take it all in and then begun to move out of bed. I took one look at my legs under the covers and it creeped me out and I let out a little squeak inside. Sighing I put my back hooves on the ground. It wasn't just like normally putting your legs on the ground. My body was different now. I could already feel how different all my bones moved, that there not suppose to work like how a person would use them.

I lunged myself forward and landed on all four hooves. "oh..." was all I said. I lifted up my back right leg. I looked behind me and gasped. I had a short black tail! I shook it just to make sure I could move it.

"snap out of it! If she can walk then so can you!" I said reassuring myself, but it didn't last long. I put my left leg forward and then my back right leg, front right, back left, front left, back right, front right. Wow I was doing it! Walking on four legs! It was equally amazing as scary.

I took a look in the mirror I looked in the mirror I looked at before. I didn't recognize myself. Everything was so much different. My coat was a dark grey and the slight sideburns I had have now taken a full shade of black so that was weird. The only thing that was still sort of the same about me was my hair. It was long and thick and led down my neck. I'm pretty sure my hair even went a darker shade like charcoal.

I turned my head to the left. This is going to sound stupid but my face was no longer... flat. I opened my mouth running my tongue along my teeth I mean I could fit a whole apple in my mouth!

After a few more minutes of Poking at myself and doing something very unlike me by raiding the cupboards and draws looking for my clothes.

After finding no evidence that I was even human once I walked out of the room leaving my confidence behind with it. I walked down the massive daunting hallway with several painted pictures on the wall and made my way to the stairs.

I put my left leg over the first step and moved it back. This was so daunting. I mean what I fell and broke my neck! I sat down on my but and moved down the stairs holding on to the top one and sliding down to the next one like a 2 year old. Repeat that about 20 times and I had reached the bottom.

I poked my head around the corner I was leaning up against. "oh my god" I said. This place was amazing! the walls were a suiting shade of brown like scooby doo with 100% wood furniture. They didn't have screws in them or anything completely hand- erm hoof made. The floor was a... well I guess it depends on what angle you look at it as. A diamond shaped marble slab all across the floor.

"hello?" I spoke.

"hello!" I heard a small voice say excitedly. I walked around the corner and there I saw them. Four different ponies all sitting together eating at a table but they all looked related. "You decided to come down then. Take a seat." Sunny said Swallowing food.

Unsure of myself I did as she said anyway and sat next to a purpley blue filly.

I sat next to two little fillies the one to my left was a bright white like Sunny with a horn and two little wings. She wore a small golden head band and had a big smile on her face. The Filly to my right sitting next to had hair that... waved... like the ocean. She had blue hair and- wait is that Luna? I took a closer look at the filly. "holly shit it is. It can't not be." I thought.

"go on help yourself" Sunny said.

"Huh?" I said drawing my attention away from the girls.

"The food silly. Go on take as much as you want we don't mind." Sunny said scrapping some mashed potato on my plate.

"honestly dear he's probably wondering who we are and why he's here. You did tell him didn't you?" A ginormous stallion said who looked much like who may be princess Luna.

"I did tell him, well I tried my best anyway." Sunny said lowering her head.

The stallion groaned "I always did have to give the speeches didn't I?" The stallion said.

"Your just grumpy because I had to wake you up" Sunny said turning away from the stallion flicking her hair.

"I do not get grumpy." The stallion said gritting his teeth.

They continued continued to bicker and I turned to who might me Princess Luna.

"so do they usually do this?" I asked the filly. The little fillies eyes widened and she developed a very heavy blush on her cheeks.

Someone tapped me on the back. I turned around and saw it was the other girl. "Ignore her she's shy. You won't get much out of her. I'm Celestia. Princess celestia, but you can call me Tia and there is Luna who we call Lulu. Shes 5 and I'm 8, oh but to answer your question they fight because they love each other. They fight sometimes you know because Mummy's the sun and Dad's the moon. That kind of thing" Tia said with a giant smile revealing her pearly whites.

"I love you." The Stallion said rubbing noses with Sunny.

"no, I love you more" Sunny said all gooey.

"see what I mean" Tia said blandly pointing her hoof at them.

"hmm? oh right you. I'm Cosmos. I found you a few hours ago and brought you back here. You were passed out next to a lake. Don't think about it to much though. We gave

you a treatment that cures the poison in your body." The big stallion said.

Taking another look at Lulu and then Cosmos you could plainly see the resemblance. Cosmos had a darker shade of Purple along with deep purple eyes and wavy dreamy like hair. heh heh, dreamy, get it. I'm such a moron. But seriously he didn't look like a push over. He looked like he could kill you in an instance if he wanted too.

"Oh well, thanks. I don't know what I would of done if you didn't find me. So you two are married?" I said.

"3456 years" Cosmos said proudly leaning back. I remained silent but that still wasn't the weirdest thing I've heard all day.

"shouldn't you be dead then?" I said confused.

"HA! I like you, but no. Royal ponies live for up to 10,000 years." Cosmos said.

I feel like marlin from that scene in Finding Nemo when he talks to the turtles. "So how old are you?!" I said astonished.

"3470" Cosmos said proudly. I quickly did the math in my head.

"You got married when you were 14!" I said.

"mmhm. I knew it in my heart when I saw her that she was the one" Cosmos said putting his hoof on Sunny's.

"Aw you make it sound more romantic then what you actually were. Maybe you can go show him your rock collection later" Sunny laughed.

"hey! Rock collecting is nothing to laugh at! You know how hard it is to get moon rock now that Discord took my powers. do you!" Cosmos said standing over the table.

"Aww, you miss your powers don't you." sunny said adorably stroking Cosmos's mane.

"I do" Cosmos said weakly sitting back down in his chair.

"Dis-cord?" I said confused. Everyone looked at me strangely which only made me feel small.

"you do know who Discord is? don't you? Celestia said.

"uh" I drawled out. "Discord? You know the guy that rules chaos now. Makes weird things happen, took Mummy and Daddy's powers and use them for evil? Actually the moons about to come up any moment now" Tia said.

"But, its day?" I said turning around looking outside the window.

I said my words too soon as the sun I was just looking at fell out of the sky as the moon rised from the ground.

"AAHHH!" I screamed falling out of my chair.

I looked up at everyone. They were all staring at me.

"I think he might of also hit his head Cosmos." Sunny said.

"yeah maybe. hey, do you remember your name?" Cosmos said.

I blinked still laying on my back "my... my name?" oh god my name. Can I say Tyler! I need some new name that would suit a pony.

I stood up on the chair and looked in another mirror hanging on the wall to my right. Now that I think of it I kinda look like King Sombra. Like as if he had a little non-evil brother or something. "S-sombra. My names Sombra!" I smiled. Oh great now I named myself after a tyrant. I wonder what they'll say.

"Sombra. Cute" Sunny said smiling.

"yeah great name kid, I mean Sombra" Cosmos said.

Well that wasn't the response I expected?
