To be more.

Eating dinner was harder than it looks. Trying to eat naturally and polielty as a horse is like holding a pencil for your first time. You can't do it.

Besides the ponies giving me strange looks for my eating habits, The sun and moon would change about every 5 minutes. It doesn't become less weird I'll tell ya that. One moment your sitting in complete darkness with the candels burning bright and then suddenlt brightness and happiness would shine threw the windows

livening up the place.

"ok... im done" Cosmos said yawning. Im going back to sleep." Cosmos said leaving the table.

"good night everyone" Cosmos said.

"goodnight" everyone but me said. Even Lulu spoke.

"why don't you two go play in the living room. I have to talk with Sombra." Sunny said. Her mentioning my name only made me nervous.

"OK Mum. See ya later Sombra." said Tia said climbing down from her chair.

"Bye." I said as the two little fillies ran out the room, Luna trailing behind.

"Now Sombra I have to ask." Sunny said.

I turned back around. "Yes?..." I said unsure of myself.

"Is there anyone that you know? Someone nearby maybe. To take care of you?" Sunny asked. I knew what she men't. I can't be expected to just live here... but then... where do I live. My mind went to Dad... my Dad... Dad... What do I even say to that?...

"Were you out there all alone?" Sunny said.

"...No, I mean... no there was no one else" I said shaking my head. What have I done?! What have I done!... ugh, looks like I made my decision. I guess...

"Well how have you been surviving all this time? We both know whats out there. Surely someone? a-a friend even." Sunny said.

What was she talking about? Have I entered the wrong Equestria? or something... I couldn't of. I just saw the two royal princesses. Is this an alternative dimension or... or is this simply back in time. Or am I over thinking this?

"No, no one. OK well there was one pony, but there gone now. If you... know what I mean" I said lying trying to seem sad.

"Oh... I'm sorry." Sunny said.

There was a pause between us. At this point I'm just going with the flow. Should I tell her the truth? Would she believe the truth. Why

havn't I even considered the truth as an option?

"I tell you what. You can stay with us for as long as you like. You've been threw a lot and we don't get a lot of company here. You seem like a good pony and I couldn't send you back out there on your own." She said.

"So... I guess i'll stay." I said.

"Good." Sunny said sounding relieved. Uh well there isn't a lot more to say here other than the room you woke up in is all yours." Sunny said. "If you want I can give you a tour of house?" Sunny said.

House? This place is more like Wayne Manor. I looked over at the living room with Tia and Lulu in it.

"Can I take a rain check? I think I would like to get to know them better." I said.

"Sure. Just hollower when you want me." Sunny said getting up from the table smiling at me.

"OK, thanks then." I said. Sunny smiled and stood up from the table walking away.

I got down from my chair and I walked into the living room. I saw Tia playing with some kind of Lego and Lulu with her head in a book leaning up against a wall. I took a walk over to Tia awkwardly trying to sit down.

Tia looked up at me and smiled. "So uh... your a princess. Wow, that's gotta be pretty exciting" I said. Looking at the little crown on her head

Tia sighed. "It would be if the world wasn't the way it is." Tia said knocking over the Lego tower she was building.

"Maybe the problem isn't the world but your attitude towards the world. I mean whats wrong with world?" I said laughing.

Tia looked at me strangely. "I'm not even going to dignify that with an answer." She said turning back to the Lego. OK well must of missed the memo on that one I think?

"OK Tia, well I think I'd like to get to know you a bit better. Um, what'd you do for fun around here?" I said. Tia looked up to the roof humming.

"we could go outside!" Tia chimed.

"To stand there or to do something?" I said.

Tia giggled. "No. To run around and play silly." Tia said her face lighting up. "Lets go." she said leading me along with her hoof. While she had some muscle on her I wasn't going much faster than my normal walking speed.

"Wait what about your sister?" I said looking behind me watching  Lulu get out of sight.

"Oh she's boring you don't want her around" Tia said dragging me towards the door outside.

As the two of us walked out into the beautiful sunshine. The sun felt so good against my face. After having all that medicine and being in bed for so long left me longing for some good old sunlight without me even knowing it. In front of me for at least a good 10 meters was just grass.

No lawn no nothing. Just grass and a single standing tree. It wasn't even a big tree. A small skinny one with a few leaves on it. Beyond the grass was a rather scary looking dark dense forest. It had a consistent theme of black and dark green. Actually now that I look at it I think it goes around the entire house. Yeah it does.

I looked up at the house that was at least 4 stories tall. It was made out of thick slabs of stone. It looked like the entrance to a library? Tia without me noticing bolted ahead of me laughing.

"Hey, wait up!" I shouted. I begun to race after her being mindful of my... footing? what do I say here? Where I ran I guess.

I ran after Tia. "I'm gonna get you!" I yelled in an over the top monster voice. Tia let out a scream followed by giggles as I chased her in circles around the yard.

I caught up with her grabbing her standing up on my back legs squeezing her. Tia squealed and laughed as I wrestled her to the ground roaring like a Lion.

A small flash happened and suddenly she was gone out of my legs. At first confusion hit me but then I heard "bet you cant catch me again" From Tia. I looked to the sky and saw her flying above me no higher than a meter.

"wanna bet!" I said. I got back onto my hooves and begun to chase her again as she flew threw the air. This time she was really trying and was actually a pretty fast flyer. I kept running after her as she flew threw the air doing aileron rolls and things.

"You better go faster than that!" Tia yelled.

"HA! I'm just getting warmed -" Suddenly with a big smack I had run into an invisible object.

In pain and shock I slowly removed my face from what ever I just crashed into and fell on my back "fuuuuuuuu" I drawled holding my eye.

"you're not hurt are you?" Tia said hovering above me

"...ow..." was all I managed.

"I'm sorry" she said laughing above me.

"Its fine" I wheezed. I blinked remembering what had just happened "Wait, why are you sorry? What just happened!?" I said.

Tia landed on the ground and walked over to where I bumped into "See." she said leaning her back up against nothing. "Its a force field that protects us from things coming in and hurting us. It keeps us invisible." Tia said giving the force field a big heart smack.

I walked over to the force field and put my front hooves on it leaning up against it. There was nothing. No wave whenever you touch it, no distortion. Nothing. Not like in the movies.

"That's amazing." I said.

"It goes right around the house" Tia said.

"I see. Or more like I don't see" I said. Tia giggled at my stupid comment

When I got off the force field the sun switched to night and not a moment later I heard one of the most adorable little voices in the world

"can I come out to play now!" Luna yelled sticking her head out the window.

"Yeah sure. The more the merrier." I yelled back

It made your heart melt watching Lulu try and close the door that's too big for her.

Tia let out a huff. "Why did you have to invite her over here. She's just going to steal you away." Tia said looking off to the side.

Suddenly my mind went blank and I scrunched up my nose. "... wait... why do you have a force field?" I asked.

Suddenly Lulu stopped frozen when she turned around from the door. Lulu's eyes grew larger and larger and she fell on her back saying nothing. Before I could say anything. A massive shadow from the moonlight came over all of us. Tia and I were both confused by the darkness and then suddenly the ground shook.

We both went a few inches off the ground and came back down on our stomachs.

Tia and I turned around still on our backs looking at the forest to see what had done this. When we saw it everything stopped, our blood our muscles, no one moved... It was a dragon that landed in front of us.

The dragon's back was arched on all fours. It had to be at least 3 story's tall, it was ginormous. It was a jet black with burnt looking scales. It was reminiscent of tiles on a roof. He had to of been at least 20 meters long. 4 meters wide. It had a thick long tail with several spike out the tip of it's tail. The dragon also had thick black wings that were curled up on his body.

All of a sudden Tia broke out of her trance and she begun to scream. The swung it's head around and came nose to nose with force field.

I squeezed my hoof around her mouth and held her close to my chest. His eyes were at least twice the size of my head with a dark and mysterious blood red color. It's mouth was opening and closing constantly. I could hear it's breath, I could it's body working. The inside of his mouth was disgusting, nothing different about it besides from the razor like teeth.

The dragon turned his head. "Must of been in the distance..." The dragon said in a deep voice. At that point I let go of Tia and felt my body freeze. It was so sudden. I think it scared me so much was because it wasn't just another animal. It can speak.

I slowly stood up and my head was spinning. Cosmos ran out and picked up Tia. Tia was crying latching on to her father. I didn't even hear him come over. "Come on!" He yelled at me.

I looked back at the dragon as it flew off over the treetops. What is this place? What have I don't

After a few hours in the living room talking about what happened and a one hour bath letting all the warm water soak all the stress out of me, I was going to bed. Sunny had actually rearranged the room with magic making it more comfortable for someone my age. A.K.A I have a bigger bed a desk and some books. Novels and things. No TV or anything like that. I'm pretty sure they don't exist. Like I'm going to ask and look stupid.

I was under my Donner and I was thinking of what my future will be. I mean it's not like how I thought it would be. I didn't get off the  train to Ponyville and was welcomed by friendly faces and a party being thrown by you know who. No instead I was poisoned and almost drowned by a Merpony thing and had the most terrifying dragon hunting me.

I wrestled my pillow rolling around trying to get to sleep. I was wide awake with thoughts doing laps around my head. Like a marathon that even if I did run I wouldn't sleep.

Suddenly I heard the creaking of my door. I leaned up in my bed and saw my door wide open. Quickly I leaned over grabbing an empty cup and readying it as a weapon.

"help me up" I heard a voice say.

Slowly I leaned over the side of my bed raising an eyebrow saw Luna standing there with a book literally strapped to her back.

"Hey? what are you doing out of bed." I said.

Luna looked behind her at the book and then back at me.

"Do you want me to read it to you?" Luna nodded erratically. I wonder if I get caught will I get in trouble... I mean kids aren't really suppose to be out of bed.

I sighed as I gave in to her little cute face. "Fine. But only one." I said.

I lifted Luna up into my bed. I UN-did the string that was holding the book to Lulu. To my surprise she got under my blankets and wrapped her front legs around me. Unsure of how to respond to someone I barely knew I returned the gesture and put my front leg around her and held the book in front of our faces.

"Monsters are like you and I." I said reading out the title.

"Mummy says that when I grow older I'm going to meet lots of different and maybe scary ponies. She tells me to be nice and too respect everyone. Treat them the way I would want to be treated." Lulu said.

Wow. For a 4 year old that's some real powerful things to say. "That's true you should be nice to everyone you meet. We shouldn't just judge everyone based on their looks or even how they act."

Lulu looked off to the side.

"Something wrong?" I said tilting my head.

"If that's true why did Tia call me ugly..." Lulu said.

I sighed. "Well sometimes we say things when were scared that we don't really mean. We do and say things to protect ourselves because maybe we couldn't deal with it. Do you understand?" I said.

Lulu looked into the corner of her eye. "Everything but the last part." Lulu said.

"Well Tia was probably looking for someone to blame about the dragon. Even though it was no one's fault she feels as though if she were to shift the blame on to you it makes dealing with the problem for her easier. Not that I'm saying what she's doing is a good thing. I'm sure if you

tell her how you feel she'll understand and apologize." I said.

"And if she doesn't?" Lulu said.

"Well then you tell your parents." I said back.

Lulu let go of me and starred off at the door furrowing her eyebrows. She seemed to be concentrating hard or in a trance. "OK." Lulu said in a pumped up voice. Lulu stood up on both her back legs and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I felt my hair raise and my cheeks go hot instantly. Lulu jumped down off the bed reaching back up and grabbing her book. Lulu walked out dragging the book behind her with her mouth closing the door slowly with magic behind her.

I sat there in the same position still in shock from what just happened. "Ugh ah!" I said fidgeting around in the bed. Slowly I put my head back down on the pillow. "I got kissed by a girl... a 4 year old girl... She's a little weird. I'm sure she does that to her Dad or something and did  it to me." I said closing my eyes shaking the kiss off as nothing but a kind gesture.

A good nights sleep later.

Slowly I batted my eye lids open. I took a look around to see if I'm still in my room. Everything was the same, nothing different. I yawned and got out the side of my bed.

*THUD* I turned my head around to see I had kicked something off of my bed when I woke up. I walked over to see what had fell. Something was wrapped up in tin foil. I opened it up to see a note and a... block of chocolate.

I read out the note. "Hi Sombra, I saw you didn't exactly eat a lot at the dinner yesterday so I got you this in case your hungry. Love Sunny." I put the note down and smiled. "Thanks Sunny" I said out loud taking a bite of the chocolate.

I opened my door poking my head around. No one was about. No noise either... I decided I'd take a look around. Yesterday I heard Cosmos say something about a library? Maybe I could get some answers about this place there.

The hallway was long and grand filled with lots of little mementos and family portraits. Some ponies (or species) I haven't ever seen before. I came across a door. Two really big doors. They kinda look like two unwrapped chocolate bars side by side. Dammit now I'm hungry for more chocolate.

I peeked threw to see if any one was in there but luckily there wasn't. Then again why is that lucky?

I walked in and gasped. It was a giant library! Just rows and rows of books and knowledge, granted I don't read oh to much, but I think this might be an exception. I walked threw the giant library. It was all nicely lit with candles and even a next level of books. All the walls were varnished dark wood. I'll tell you these ponies have style. It looks like the library at the beginning of Ghost Busters actually.

I guess I had a brief Idea of what to look for. I mean if this is a whole new world its probably best know a little bit about it history. "h-h-h-h where in the world is h" I said walking past isles looking for the H section. "Oh there it is" I said trotting over to a big sign with 'H' on it. "dum de dum de duh, History... of Equestira... Hey, This will do!" I said pulling out a book with my mouth.

I walked over to a nice brown leather couch next to the front entrance. When I opened the book and begun reading there was nothing to be happy about. Equestria wasn't as beautiful as I once thought. Apparently Equestria was in the midst of wars... there were different ponies who had different ideas about how and who should rule Equestria.

Apparently what sparked this was a... a bombing on a hospital housing a notorious gang leader. Something like the Mafia. They were doing things like selling Ponies to highest bidder. Letting out diseases into the public. Rampaging threw smaller towns blowing up buildings and killing women and children. Only women and children. This only scrapes the barrel of what they were doing I mean that, they even held some political power!

Either way someone somewhere didn't like this and wanted it to stop so they started up there own private Militia. The Militia's goal was to take out this gang and any other criminal, well not so much one off criminal but uh how do I say... repeating offenders. None the less they did as they were doing as they said they would and actually took out 90% of this gang.

However this new Militia was looked at as a threat against Equestria by none other than Sunny and Cosmos. The streets all over Equestria had turned into a battlefield, opponents from both sides had lost far too many. After 5 years of fighting the death toll was up to 243,060. And Sunny and Cosmos were losing power.

The way they controlled the masses wasn't with brute force but with language. However when all this fighting took over ponies were split between three groups. While only a few were going to fight with the gangs and majority stayed with the royals a large chunk were starting to turn over to the Militia.

The royals knew they had to do something so they sent out troops to fight a long side the private Militia to take out the gangs. Equestria was put on lock down and the public was told to come to Canterlot. Or if you ask me, more like flea to canterlot. And take refuge there while the final few days of fighting was left.

After the gang was destroyed they found it's leader sitting in an armchair in his office with his hooves on the table and head down. The leader surrendered and it was against the rules for the royals to kill anyone who surrenders. This only caused more conflict. The Militia wanted to finish what they started but the royals wanted to hold him for a trial.

This only caused more killing and wars. The Militia slit the gang leaders the throat right there and then and it was at that moment they were known as an enemy to the royals. The royals rushed the gang leader to a hospital in Canterlot were they revived the gang leader. The Militia fought hard to kill the gang leader but the royals were quicker.

The following a spy had infiltrated Canterlot and planted a bomb inside the hospital housing patients, the gang leader and about 100 royal army soldiers. The bomb went off and killed almost every one in the hospital including the gang leader.

That night in Canterlot the public that had had to sit threw so much abuse finally took a stand. Sides were taken. Ponies left Canterlot to join the Militia believing the royals should of acted sooner and that the Militia was the only true leader who could protect them. There laws such as the death penalty and a low tolerance to violence inside there domain would be Equestria's saviors. They thought that if they were to save out laws and criminals from death and allow them into the public were they would sleep at night how are the royals protecting them?

But even ponies from the Militia didn't agree with the actions they took. Some believed that the Militia had turned there back on what they originally fought for. Planting a bomb inside a civilian hospital killing near thousands was over dramatic and evil. They had become aggresive and were now just killing even those who oppose them. Ponies were now thinking that they were becoming like the gang everyone once feared.

... thats it... I flicked to the next page. Nothing. "W-what the? That's not the end? What the hell happened?!

"horrible isnt it" I heard a deep voice say.

"Ahh!" I screamed thorwing the book up into the air. I looked up and saw Cosmos standing on the Next the book I had just thorwn was Cosmos standing there. He must of come in the door without me noticing.

"Sorry I startled you" Cosmos said.

"I'm sorry I threw your book" I said holding my hoof to my heart.

Cosmos knelled down and grabbed book handing me... hoofing? This is so confusing. He gave me the book anyway.

"Um, I'm sorry I came in here. I woke up and just you know..." I trailed off.

"Wanted to snoop?" Cosmos said.

"Snoop!? No I would never snoop th-thats wrong and-" I yelled completely caught off guard.

"It's fine I don't care if you come here to read." Cosmos chuckled. "This is only a library not like it's my rock collection room" Cosmos said

OK apparently rock collection room is a no go zone compared to the library...

"besides, I like a kid who reads. Even more amazing is that you can actually read. "So what part were you reading anyway.

I took a look back at the book. "I was reading about your downfall I guess but it ended..." I said. Cosmos mouth slightly opened at that and he let out a sigh.

"It's been a long time since I thought about that... Well if your going to read about it you might as well hear about it from someone who experienced it first hoof" Cosmos said.

Cosmos took a seat next to me on the couch and thought. "Well If I remember it was the night after the hospital bombings. Equestria were fed up with all the wars and killing and just wanted someone who they could trust. They rallied against each other saying that we needed to step down from power and give it someone else who could use it wisely. Others said that they believed in us to do what was right and we could bring Equestria back to it's peaceful state of mind." Cosmos said.

"... why didn't you. Could you?" I said.

"That was the question I've asked myself for so long. Could I? Couldn't I? I had ruled pony kind for more than 3000 years making decisions I thought would be best for everyone. But sometimes your put into a corner were you can't do what you want to do because you have to obey the rules you made that are defying you. Sunny and I decided we didn't want any more blood to be shed and that we would give the Militia half of Equestria and we would just live side by side and end this once and for all... but that wasn't going to work either. Ponies needed to know that they would be safe. Bombings and terrorism was a new threat Equestria hadn't ever faced before. Ponies wanted us to stop the Militia meaning kill them all. I can't just kill them all. They were just scared of what could happen I understood what they were feeling. There were good ponies in there and it would be a blood bath. All the blood would be on my hooves and so much already was... is." Cosmos said.

The fact that Cosmos said 'is' told me he felt guilty. You could see the heaviness in Cosmos's eyes. His face was stoic. He was hurting on the inside. I did what I thought was right and put my hoof on his back and started rubbing.

Cosmos let out a huff of laughter. "Sombra if you think this is bad wait till you hear what else comes up..." I took my hoof of Cosmos's back. "Anyway... I couldn't kill them, but I couldn't give in to them. Couldn't unite with them. Ponies were scared of them wanted nothing to do with them. Ponies thought we should adopt some aspects of their lifestyle saying our system is partially broken as well as there's. I could see that. I could work with that. I organised a private meeting with there leader, we talked for hours. It didn't work out. No blood was spilt but war was coming. Well let's just say a week later, an exact week later several hundred bombs went off in Canterlot at midnight. As usual I was taking watch from the top of Canerlot. I watched the explosions happen, the chaos and destruction. Some went off simultaneously others went off hours after everything had started. Some didn't even go off. There probably still there now." Cosmos sighed.

"I uh... I couldn't do anything, we had no eyes on an enemy there was no one there just normal frightened ponies greaving over there dead families. I was on a radio we kept in my room. Sunny was sitting on the end of our bed crying. I kept yelling over the microphone trying different frequencies. No response from any of them, all towns and city's weren't responding. Out of desperation I called the Militia. I needed something to speak to someone. I tuned into there frequency and they were actually there. It was the leader of the Militia. I begun abusing him over the mic yelling how could he do this to us! The mic was crackly and I could barely hear him. But right before we lost connection... He said this sentence it was as clear as day... 'it's happening here too' right after he said that I heard yelling, the type of yelling when your scared not when your angry, I heard a roar, and then an explosion. The roar came from that very dragon you saw yesterday. It had flung open the roof of that building and blew fire into the room. The room was also filled with explosives at the time so they went off from the fire. You see I had no idea what to think when I heard him say that. I thought that maybe the gangs had come back, I didn't know how or why but it was either that or a new group of ponies had surfaced. I mean a dragon attacking ponies is rare but it's happened, but still that doesn't explain the bombs. There was no incentive no motivation. I mean why not place a bomb under my bed and then when I sleep he's won! No reason to keep fighting. Well it turns out that not only was it a dragon was attacking but... a... I can't find a word for them... they weren't... a militia, not a army... they fought for no cause... absolutely nothing... Sombra after they had killed everyone in the Militia in no more than 7 hours they came to Canterlot and wiped us out in too. I won't give you the details on what they did to Canterlot... but lets just say that anyone who didn't get out... is still there now. And the same goes for the Militia... I have no control over Equestria today. Everyday that goes by it gets rarer and rarer to see a pony. They do nothing... nothing but kill... and I don't know why." Cosmos said.

"Um... who are we talking about again?" I said.

Cosmos looked at me strangely. "The Changelings... black ponies with holes in them, green mane, dead eyes, only kill and feast off of your corpses. Ring a bell." Cosmos said.

"Oh yeah, yeah, I remember now!" I said lying threw my teeth.

"Well I still have no idea where they came from. Never saw one of them before that day. Don't ever underestimate them though. There leader is smart, smarter than me. They only do what it tells them to do" Cosmos stood up from me "your welcome to come in here whenever you like and read. Oh and if you ever have any questions about rocks just ask me." Cosmos said with a wink. It's weird. A moment ago he look like he was going to burst into tears, but now. Now he's back to... well him.

I nodded "I'm sure I will." Just as Cosmos walked off I remembered about last night. "Oh uh Cosmos!" I yelled.

Cosmos turned around. "hmm?"

"last night, um Lulu came into my room. She told me Tia had been picking on her" Cosmos put his head down and sighed. "Those two love each other but can hate each other when want. LULU!, TIA!" Cosmos yelled in a barbaric voice.

With a flash of his horn the two girls appeared infront of Cosmos only this time I was more prepared (but still kinda freaked out)

"DAD, I told you to stop doing that! I could of been on the toilet!" Tia yelled.

"Pfft, dont give me that. I have a tracking spell on you, I always know what your doing. Now, Sombra here told me that you said something to Lulu that wasn't very nice last night. What did you say to Lulu last night." Cosmos said furrowing his eyebrows.

Uh, why did Cosmos have to drag me into this.

Tia bit her lip and looked off to the side. "uh... good night?" She said.

"Dont play dumb with me." Cosmos growled.

"I, uh" Tia stuttered. Cosmos eyes deepened on her. "I might of called her... ugly?" Tia said gradually getting smaller. "and why would

you call her ugly" Cosmos said getting straight to the point.

"B-because... SHE ALWAYS GETS THE ATTENTION! LAST NIGHT YOU PAYED MORE ATTENTION TO LULU BECAUSE OF THE DRAGON INSTEAD OF ME!" Tia cried out.

Cosmos slammed both front hooves on the ground causing the ground to shake. "Tia I have heard this excuse too many times from you and you've used it for the last time" I felt the room get colder the candles started to go out. "Me and you mother spread our time amongst you equally, so now I only have one last option but to-"

Cosmos was cut off when the Library door swung right open slamming into Cosmos face and Sunny came threw. She slammed the door shut and was nose to nose with Cosmos.  The room regained temperature and the candles came back

"COSMOS! What have I told you about talking to our children like that!" Sunny's voice was stern, wild like i'd never seen it. She was so carm and normal it was scary to see her like this.

"I-i, I wasn't going to do anything I-i" Cosmos stuttered being backed into a wall.

"you were going to smack her, wernt you!" Sunny yelled.

"yes! I mean No. No, no, no, no, no, no" A staredown between her and Cosmos begun. "I, I, I, I, I fine! I admit it! I was going to smack her!" Cosmos yelled.

Sunny turned around slapping him in the face with her tail. "you lied to me Cosmos, but more importantly you lied to Tia, our eldest daughter. Now what do you have to say about yourself?" Sunny said holding her head high and her eyes closed with her back to Cosmos.

Cosmos dropped on his back and started crying wailing around "I'M SORRY, Oh please i'm so-rry" He pleaded tugging around her back right leg.

"Aww there, there. Now why don't you go to your room and play with your rock collection." Sunny said patting him on the head.

Cosmos got off his back and stood up "O-OK" He said wiping tears as he exited the room.

Sunny's frown turned into smile as she turned toward Tia.

"now honey, what was it that Daddy was getting all upset about?" Tia looked off to the side "oh that it was uh... nothing." Lulu looked up at Tia and punched her in the leg.

"Ow! ugh, I called Lulu ugly and that her ugly is what made the dragon come here..." Tia said gritting her teeth.

"Tia is this the attention thing again." Tia looked down and nodded her ears flopped to the side.

"Tia the other week you and Dad went on your first camping-" Sunny was interrupted by Tia.

"But!?" Tia argued.

"and then you and I made bracelets together not last night." Sunny said.

"...but" Tia said trying not to admit defeat

"Tia I know what its like to have a sister, I had three of them. But you cant just call your sister names. I mean what if you ruined the friendship between you and your sister? How would you feel then?" Sunny said.

Tia started drawing a circle with her hoof "Bad."

"mhhmm. Now what do you have to say to your sister."

"...but even while I was still scared you payed more attention to Lulu." Tia said a tear coming out of her eye.

"Tia... where you still scared of the dragon even after you said you wernt?" Sunny said.

Tia begun to cry trying not to let the tears seep out by covering them up with her hoof. "I said I wasn't scared because... because you or Dad arnt scared of anything! And if I'm scared what would you think-" Tia was cut off as Lulu wrapped her tiny legs around Tia's neck snuggling into her.

"Aw great now I feel even worse." Tia said lowering her head.

"You don't have too. Return the gesture." I said.

"Exactly" Sunny said smiling at me in delight.

Tia looked behind herself and at me with a weak smile. Tia snuggled into Lulu's mane and whispered. "I'm sorry little sis..." A few more seconds past and Lulu wasn't giving in. "OK we get the point." Tia said working her way out of Lulu's grip.

"Are you still scared of the dragon?" Sunny said to Tia.

Tia nodded rubbing her shoulder with her hoof. "Go into the lounge room and we can talk about that some more OK?" Sunny said. Tia did as she said and walked out the giant chocolate doors.

"Lulu your not off the hook either." Lulu gulped and started to shake.

"I heard you walking around the hallways last night. What were you doing?" Sunny said.

"... I went into Sombra's room." Lulu said quietly.

"And you woke him up. Now how do you think Sombra feels?" Sunny said.

Rather startled by name popping up as I had just been on auto pilot this whole time. I intervened. "Its no bother, really, I was awake anyway besides I love children." I said.

"I know what your saying but Lulu always does this. Get out of her bed and wonder around at night, maybe go read somewhere else and get us worried." Sunny turned back to Lulu. "Lulu Sombra's a growing boy, he needs his sleep. How about I get up in the middle of

the night and get you to read me a book?" Lulu looked down. "I'm sorry." She whimpered.

"don't say sorry to me say it to Sombra" Sunny said. Lulu walked over to me looking up at me with a tiny tear rolling down her chubby cheek.

"I'm sorry" lulu said. If this wasn't heaven already I've gone there now.

"It's fine. I mean what is a friend if were not there for each other." I said.

Lulu had this great big smile grow across her face. "W-well if were f-friends could you read me the book I was going to read last night? I'm not a very good reader" Lulu said.

"sure, what is it" I said. "a picture book about two best friends, ones a pony and the others a minatour. I don't remember where I left it but its somewhere in there." Lulu said pointing. I looked where Lulu was pointing and sighed as I saw several thousand books starring my way.

It took Lulu 5 hours to find the book and it turns out it was under her bed.
