Chapters 1st Person
For those who read this World War 3 has begun and the Allies are loosing. America is being invaded on the east coast. This is the first time around 200 years since an actual war was fought on continental forty eight states. Some force that I don't even know what, showed up in the world 4 months ago. Since then we have been at war. This force literally seemed to have came out of no where and seems to be using almost godly power. Now they are pushing on my homeland. It's time for them to know the full force of the United States Military! Go Seals!
We stood there with the back of the plane up open. As we flew we could see the anti-air things, these don't look normal, and some of the planes get hit. Yes I know that you really can see them at the speed they're flying. But something about this didn't seem right. As I looked away and around the back of the plane, I saw my team praying. They didn't have to say why, we all knew what they were praying for. That this damn bird doesn't get shot out of the fucking sky like some of the others were. It's very chilling when you can feel the explosion of another plane getting hit, then look out and see it falling out of the sky. It's one thing when you read about it, see it in a movie or video game. Then it's another thing when you live it. Well time to rally the team. "Ok men, 2 minutes till drop. Suit up. I know you we don't know where we are dropping but know that we are doing this to defend America! This is our country and today we push to take it back!"
"Hooyah!" The rest of my squad responded.
I made sure my face mask, two bags, rifle, side arm, dog straps were all fully attached. Then I kneeled down to my dog before I strapped him tight to me. "Hey Zeus, buddy. I know that we've been through a lot through out the years and well it looks like we're almost done. This is gonna be one of our last mission that we have to fight in. I know we aren't that old but I think it's time for us to settle down." Bark. I smiled, "I'm glad you agree. Ready for the jump." Bark. I smiled and rubbed his head as I stood up to face John. "Hey what you writing?"
John turned to me as he put the paper and his pen away. "Oh it's just a letter to my family, so that they know that I love them. You know, just incase something happens. I write a new one before every drop, it's like a ritual. The thing is each letter changes slightly from the last."
"Very cool. Time..." Out of no where the plane shook violently. Imagine the worse turbulence ever and multiply that by 5. Yeah, it was that bad.
The voice on the intercom comes on. "Seal's we are under heavy fire. Jump now. Jump now." Fuck we're jumping to early. "Jump..." The pilot was cut off from another impact. With that the plane began to rotate and fall. Fuck.
"Seals jump! Jump now!" I was the last one to jump, to make sure my whole team cleared the plane. When it was my turn I looked back and began to see the inside of the plane be engulfed in flames. As my last foot hit the edge of the ramp I whispered my little ritual thing. "Good bye to you good soldiers that die today. If I am to die, I look forward to sharing a beer in our afterlife." Once I cleared the plane, I turned around to look and saw something like an anti-air hit it a cause it explode. With that I rotated to face the grown and my mission popped up on my HUD.
"Squad our mission is to land in Central Park and begin to take back Manhattan."
"Understand Sir." The squad responded on the radio. With that I changed my radio to the channel just between me and John.
"John the weather doesn't look right. All intel says it should be partially partial cloudy to cloudy. Not that there should be a fucking thunderstorm going on. Something doesn't sit well about this mission, even this war. It was like this source just came out of no where."
John responded on the radio, "I know Leo. Then about this mission, well it's a little to late turn back. Cause you know, we are already free falling." We both chuckled, that smart ass. "Now let's just get to where we need to. Our bodies are fully covered so the rain won't hurt and if we do get a little wet then we do. We will do this Leo."
"I know lets go. Zeus prepare to get a little wet." After 30 seconds we got into the storm. "John this doesn't seem like a normal storm. Lat time I check storms don't have bright green lighting." I began to hear my squad yell as if they are getting shot. The whole time I kept my eye on John to make sure he stays fine. After another few seconds we were somehow on top of a forest and it was sunny and partially cloudy. What the actual fuck just happened? I just checked my altimeter and it said we were at 500 feet. "John deploy your parachute now. We are too low. Deploy now." With that both of our chutes deployed he was about 20 feet below me. After another minute of so, give or take we hit the ground. Well I hit ground, John on the other hand got caught in the canopy and had to cut himself down.
3rd Person:
Two Hours Later
Applejack and Rainbow Dash were working on Sweet Apple Acres, when suddenly they heard a voice yelling coming from the back of the farm in the in the Everfree Forest. “Get the fuck off of him!” Gun shots. Growl. “Stay back you monster! John stay awake. Zeus fall back! Don’t you fucking die on me John! Get off you fucking tree demon! Ahhhhh!”
Applejack and Rainbow Dash took off to the sound. “Applejack, ummm... what was that noise? That isn't any apple bucking related, is it?”
The voice from the Everfree came again, "Come in! Command! Oh fucking static, great! Where the fuck are we?... Fuck, the fucking radio is fucking dead. Fuck this mission! Ah get the fuck off of me. What the fuck are you? Zeus left, boy! John I know you're hardly awake but where the fuck are we? We are suppose to be in Manhattan, more specifically Central Park, not in the middle of a fucking forest! There are creatures here that should not exist. Uhh!" More gun shots.
Applejack turned to Rainbow Dash, “The person does have a very foul vocabulary. But I don’t kn…” but she was cut off by a man yelling and more gun shots. “Let’s just get there fast. Those names don't sound like pony names but they definitely need our help." As soon as they got close they saw a 2 legged creature dragging another one behind him on a parachute as a makeshift sled. The one that was standing was all cut up on his arms and legs from falling and the claws of the timber wolfs. While him and the dog pulled the one on the ground. All while doing this he was firing into the woods. The one being dragged had a lot more blood on him. In particular the blood was coming out of his stomach and he had to apply pressure with his left hand to slow it down. With his right hand the dragged one was grabbed a couple grenades and threw them. “Dash what was…” Again she was cut off, this time from the grenades. “Go get Twilight and tell her to get the princess now! We are gonna need the princess for some quick medical to even think about transporting them to a hospital. Also to find out what these things are.”
Dash nodded but before she took off she turned to Applejack, "Hey don't get to close to those two and that dog, they look dangerous. Just keep an eye but if one looks like it's about to die go help but please be careful." She sped away with a trail rainbow behind her.
Applejack just stood there and thought. "Did they say they were suppose to land in Manehattan? Why would they want to go there? I need to tell the princess this."
1st Person:
I stood over John who was severely bleeding from his gut. “Fuck John, stay awake. Can you help me get your back pack off.” He nodded and did the best he could to take of his bag. Uhh where does he keep the medical supplies. His parachute was cut a way when we landed. Luckily I still had mine and was able to use it to drag him out of those fucking woods.“John where is the first aid kit?”
“Second pocket. Uhhh.” He pulled off his goggles, helmet and face mask. Now that we weren't moving, John was beginning to realize the severity of the injury. Then he began to hyperventilate and go into shock.
“John I need you to calm down and stay with me. Zeus go get the bag. Thanks boy.” I pulled it out and quickly grabbed a morphine shot and jabbed him in the stomach to lessen his pain. “John, I can’t give you anymore than that because of your blood loss but I’m gonna save you.”
“It’s to late. *Cough* Take this and give it to my family. *Cough*” The dog whined because he knew how bad the situation was. Anyone in the area who could see knew how bad the situation was.
“I will not give them that letter, because you are coming home with me after I patch you up.” I began to tear up because I knew, we both knew, he wasn’t going to make it unless he got medical treatment now. Just that wouldn't happen because we are in the middle of an unknown land. I just couldn't admit that he was going to die though. John and I have been through so much together in the military. We always had each others back from when we were in elementary school and all the way up in till now. I can’t lose really my only family and friend.
“Leo, we both know I’m gonna die, just calm down. See I’m calm.” Now he began to tear up and I really began to cry as I scooted under him and held him, the dog began to whine.
“How can you be so calm? Even dog is even less calm then you.” I felt tears beginning roll down my eyes but we both let out a slight chuckle.
“Well I’m not that calm. I’m just at peace with the world and I’m not scared of dying now that I know I’m about to be. Please promise to do what I asked you.”
I finally broke because now it was next to a hundred percent that he was gonna die. “I promise to do as you asked.”
“It’s been a pleasure to have been your friend all these years since we were children. It’s a shame this is how it has to end.” He lifted his arms up and pointed at the giant wholes in his stomach from where those fucking tree wolf things stabbed him.
“The pleasure has been all mine. I’m gonna miss you as a friend.” The dog even seemed to be crying, with me.
“Hey look at me. You are gonna be fine, you will make knew friends to get you back on your feet. Promise me when I die you send me off like a viking. Make me a wooden structure and burn it.” I nodded at his request.
“How can I make friends? Everyone I’ve ever had as a friend or my family has died. I can’t go through that again.”
“Leo I… I…” Zeus
“No! No! No! Don’t you die yet! I’m not done talking to my best friend! Please John! Stay with me! No! Fuck! Uhhh CPR!” I immediately started chest compressions. “One…two…three…four…” Ok I just did thirty. Now tilt head back, two breaths, check for pulse and air flow then repeat. I must have done this seven times before he came back, I hadn’t noticed if anyone was around. All I cared about was keeping my brother in arms alive.
3rd Person:
Fluttershy looked at Celestia and asked, “Princess, what is that thing doing? It looks like he’s breaking his chest and then kissing him. Look at that dog, it's so loyal. It's staying so calm, yet keeping his guard up the whole time, to protect them.”
The princess wasn't even sure what Leo was doing. Celestia had heard of humans before do to myths. For ponies, anything that had no fur or tail and walked on two legs was just unimaginable outside of myths. Now the 8 ponies present were standing in front of two and one was dying. The princess turned to Fluttershy, “I… I don’t know what he is doing but yes that dog seems really, really loyal. But I think he is trying to save the one on the ground. His friend had suffered a severe injury to his stomach from what I'm assuming was a timber wolf. If he can get him breathing I maybe able to keep him alive e enough to get to the hospital.”
With that Leo had gotten John back to breathing and having a week pulse. “See John I got you, you’re not gonna die. Now I just have to stop the bleeding.” With that Leo quickly went into the bag and pulled out a hose and two needles. Attaching a needle to both ends he would be able to transfer blood into John. Even though doing a direct blood transfusion like this is frowned upon. Leo had to do this if there was any chance of John living. Leo had O negative blood so he could give John some. He also had no disease so the blood he was giving was safe. After he started the blood flow, he went to grab his suture kit. That is when Leo looked up and saw eight ponies start to walk towards him and his injured comrade. Immediately Leo drew his M9 and pointed at them. “Stay back you animals. I don’t want to harm you. Stay back.” The ponies stopped as soon as they saw the gun pointed at them. They had heard the noise from the larger gun and were scared.
Then after a standoff Princess Celestia stepped forward. As soon as she did Leo shot right in front of where she was walking. All the ponies except for the two princesses stepped back but they did glare angrily at Leo. “Stay back!” The dog stood up immediately got in between the princesses and Leo. Zeus clawed at the grown and started to growl and bark at the princesses.
“Sir, we mean you know harm. We only wish to help and we can save your friend. Are you a human?” Celetia said calmly even after almost being shot.
“Stop! How can you talk? Your just a pony and ponies don’t talk. Ponies are just animal used as transportation and work. So how can you guarantee anything his safety? How can you have wings and a horn?" This struck a nerve with a few all but Celestia and Luna. Rainbow Dash in particular took that harshly and was about to fly out and attack but Applejack bit Dash’s tail to keep her in place.
“Sir, on our planet ponies are sentient beings like you and are more or less, the dominant species. Ponies can also have wings or a horn or none and in rare cases can have both wings and a horn. If anything how are you here? Humans are a myth here. Now for your friend, I can guarantee he has a better chance of living if you let us help. If you don’t, he will die here now. Sir, what is your name?”
“Ok, I… I will let you try to save him. The name is Leo, you don’t need to know my last name. I’m a captain in the United States Navy. I’m a Navy Seal.”
Pinkie Pie immediately burst out, “Your not a seal, silly. Your a human.” Leo gave Pinkie Pie a stare that rivals Fluttershy's and immediately got Pinkie Pie to shut up and back up.
“I’m in the special forces of the U.S. Navy. The Navy Seals are what my group is called. Now are you going to help my fellow comrade or not?” Slowly the commander began to realize how much blood loss he was having. Light headedness began to just kick in as he stumbled back but keeping the gun pointed at Celestia.
As Celestia came up she noticed the Leo stumble. "Sir, are you ok?"
"Yeah just a little light headed from blood loss. Please just help John first. Once he is fixed then you can fix me up next." He pointed at at his friend who was passed out and hardly breathing.
"Please have a seat so if you pass out the fall isn't that far." With that he sat down and shortly after he passed out. "Jeez what have these to soldiers been through sister? Then look at this dog. It won't leave his owners side. It is like the dog and Leo are one and like they have served together. Do people on earth use their animals to fight wars?" Celestia asked Luna as she began to charge up her horn to heal the John and Leo enough for transport to the Ponyville hospital.
Luna just looked shocked. To the ponies, at least half the things that were attached to the two passed out soldiers were far more advanced than current technology state. "I really have no clue for both of your questions. I mean look at these weapons. They sounded like Pinkie Pie's cannon but fire at insane amount quicker. Then they are also more accurate and do more damage then our most accurate weapons or archery and our state of the art crossbow, at longer ranges. And the crossbows are still way into development and can hit nearly the rate of fire as these. The dog, well I don't know let me try to move it." The dog begins to grow at Luna as she tries to pull him away from his passed out owner. "The bond these two share must run beyond deep, sister."
Celestia nodded. "We shall make sure to question these men when they wake up. Or at least ask Leo when he does because I don't know if John is gonna make it."
"Sounds good sister. Also we need to ask him about why he wanted to go to Manehattan. Applejack to me that she heard Leo here, yell about supposing to be there. But now we do have to move these two and this dog, to the Ponyville hospital."
1st Person:
*BeepBeep* *BeepBeep* *BeepBeep* *BeepBeep* "Uhh, where the hell am I? What happened?" I open my eyes and the first thing I see is the heart monitor right next to me. Heart rate looks good. Blood pressure looks good. I look to be perfectly healthy. Then I look down at myself. I see that both of my arms and my chest are wrapped up. Uhh now I remember what happened. Fuck my life. Where the fuck is my stuff? That is when I noticed my buddy, Zeus, sitting on the ground next to the bed. God I love my dog, I can't believe I've been with him for 3 years all ready. If anyone hurts him, there will be hell to pay.
Then I heard the door open and it was a pony not a human. Great this wasn't a dream. God I'm still in this unknown land and where the fuck is this place? "Hello Captain, I'm glad you're awake. My name is Nurse Redheart. It has been a little since you arrived. You know it has been several days and well you dog has never left your side. You two must really share a special bond."
I smiled and faced my dog. "Yes we do ma'am. My boy, Zeus and I have been through hell and back together. If you don't mind me asking. How long have I've been asleep?"
"You've been asleep for three days. You know your dog is very aggressive to everyone that tried to get close to you. When we tried to work on you or bring him somewhere else to feed him, he would growl and sometimes even try to bite. We even brought in Fluttershy to talk to him, she specialize in animal care. Even she couldn't get him to leave his post, so we had to feed him here. Don't even get me talking about getting him to use the restroom."
I laughed and smiled at Zeus. I patted the bed signaling him to hop on and lay down next to me. "Yeah he never listens to anyone else but me. He's trained to only receive commands from me and me alone. This way when I'm in combat I don't have to worry about the enemy telling him something." She looked pretty stunned at that fact.
"He does what? He fights for you?"
"Well yes ma'am. We fight along side one another. I am trained along with my dog, to use him to help my men and I in combat. Whether that be finding explosives, guns or enemies. He is also trained to help in fighting enemies too."
"That... that's le-legal?" The face of utter shock on her face was priceless. She knew I was going to say yes but still for some reason had to ask me. I guess animals are not used in the military here, that is very interesting.
"Yes ma'am. Now enough of that, when can I leave?"
"About that, you are not to be allowed to leave until Princess Celestia sees you."
"Why is that ma'am?" I ask nervously, I thought everything was ok with us. She said we would be ok. That lying piece of shit.
"I was not allowed to know. She will be here any second though. Since she comes to see if your condition has changed at around this time everyday."
Almost on cue the Princes walked in. "Hello sir."
"Hello Princes Celestia. Can I leave and see my friend?"
Her mood completely changed when I said that. No he can't be dead. No! Please no! "We were able to stabilize both of you at Sweet Apple Acres. When we got here, you both began to plummet health wise. His plummeted a lot faster and a lot worse than your did. I had to you high levels of magic on both of you just to save you. The side effects of that, on your body, is unknown because both of you seem to have no magic capabilities." No shit. Up until I landed here magic was a fucking joke. "Your friend, is still asleep. We don't know when or if he will ever wake up. I'm sorry but that's all I can say about your friend."
I sat in bed with just a blank expression. Trying to process this information was so hard. I couldn't imagine not being able to hang out with my friend again. I began to get angry and think they aren't doing everything they could. Slowly felt a strange sensations in my forearms, primarily my right one. Though I quickly calmed down and realized that can't be true and they must have done everything they could. I was luckily able to wake up only after just three days but my best friend may never wake up from this. I… This is my fault. He wasn't suppose to go on this mission and I made him. How could I have been to selfish, god dammit. "He… He's still asleep?" She nodded at me. Oh my god I got him to a coma. Fuck. "May I go see him?"
"Yes you may. Follow me. Afterwards we need to talk about a few things and also find out where you are going to be staying. Once that is all settled, I will give you your belongings." I nodded. "Follow me."
"Ok let me get dressed." She just stared at me not moving. "That requires you to leave the room unless you want to see my genitalia." That got her to blush crimson red. Who knew I could make a princes blush. She quickly left the room so I could get dressed. After I threw my clothes on I headed to the door. "Come on Zeus."
Once I was outside of the room she asked, "You ready to go?" I nodded and then we were off. As we walked, we made several turns to the intensive care units. Not gonna lie, for this being a world dominated by ponies. The hospital looks the exact same to what we have on Earth. Even though my friend and I were both out for three nights, I was considered stable since the injuries weren't as bad as his. Finally we got there. "We are here." I nodded before I entered.
Once I entered, I went straight to the bed. Zeus followed and reared up to put his front paws on the bed, he began to whimper sadly. "Hey John. I'm really not good at what to say in these kinda situations. I'm not sure if your body still hears what I'm saying but I'll say it anyway. Just know Zeus and I will be here for you everyday that we possibly can." Zeus howled in a sad tone as I said that. "You know even though he's my dog, I think you're the only person that he would even consider listening too. Well he is the only other person he has listened too. Now that you're healed all you need to do is wake up. I can't believe magic exist, that's what they used to heal us. Can you believe that? Well I can't. Last thing I must say is that I'm so sorry that I brought you on this mission. You're in this situation because of me... Well I have to talk to the princess and find a place to say. I'll be back tomorrow for another talk." After that I left room and went out into the hallway. "Ok princess where do you want to talk?"
"In the library." She responded and began to walk towards the exit of the hospital. Why would we talk in the library? Hmmm well I guess I'll just see. So Zeus and I followed.
When we got outside I could finally see the town where I most likely will be residing. The architecture was far from modern, it had almost like a medieval vibe, if you know what I mean. They don't have electrical poles, so I guess they only use candles. Oh wait they got magic so fuck electricity, I'll just use magic to turn my light bulbs on. On the way to the library we past a gingerbread house. I know how that may sound but I'm saying the truth. This place looked identical to the shit I made before Christmas. Besides that nothing has really blown my mind about what is hear. The only thing I didn't like was all the attention I was getting from the town folks. I'm not use to getting this many stairs, I mean usually I'm trying to sneak through towns. Not straight up walk down the middle of it in broad daylight.
Finally we got to a tree house thing. "So why did we stop princess?"
She turned her head to face me, "This is the library."
She began to walk in and I followed. "This is not a library this is just a fancy, glorified tree house." Once I entered my jaw dropped. "Oh my god it is a library."
"See I told you." She smirked. "Twilight are you here?"
Then I heard another voice coming from upstairs. "Princess Celestia. I'll be right down." And she didn't lie because all of sudden there was a purple flash and she was standing in front of us. "Hello Princess and hello… um I didn't get your name."
"My name is Leo. I'm a captain in United States of America's Navy Seals."
"Well hello Leo, my name is Twilight Sparkle. I'm Princes Celestia's personal student. Welcome to Ponyville in Equestria." That must be the name of the place and country I'm living in now. Then she turned to face Celestia. "Now Princes what is the meaning of your visit?"
The Princes stepped forward, "We are here because I have to talk to Captain Leo in private. Is that possible?"
"Yes Princes, just have sit here and I will go grab tea." We both nodded and had a seat. There was so many damn books here. Everywhere I look there is another book, all organized. Up, down, left, right, there is a damn book. She is such a fucking nerd but hey that's cool.
"Ok princes, what do you want to talk about? Zeus sit."
"Let's wait for our tea. This is something that only you, my sister and I can know about." I nodded. So we waited five minutes in quiet not talking. Finally I heard the kettle begin to whistle and Twilight quickly trotted in afterwards holding the kettle and to cups. I assume she is holding it with magic but I don't know. "Thanks Twilight. We can pour it, now can you actually leave for a little. The conversation I need to have with Captain Leo is well, classified. I'm sorry for kicking you out of your house but that's what I need. I need to make sure no one hears anything." Twilight looked sad but nodded and left. She called for someone named Spike and I saw a lizard thing follow her as she left. Yes I just saw a fucking lizard walk on his hind two legs. What the fuck is this place?
"Ok princes, what's the big deal?"
"You are the big deal considering you just came out of no where. I would think if that happened to you on your world, you would have some questions." I nodded but it most likely wouldn't be this peaceful. "Ok. Why are trying to get to Manehattan?"
"Mane… what?"
"Manehattan. One of my subjects said that while you were in the woods she heard you yell, 'We are suppose to be in Manehattan, not in the middle of the fucking woods!' Forgive my language, I'm just repeating what you said. So why are you trying to get there?"
"Ohhh I said Manhattan not Manehattan. What is Manehattan?"
"Well it's a city to the north east. What is Manhattan?"
"It's a city in the north east portion of my country, in my world. As for what I was doing that is classified. Sorry."
"Can you give me just a little about the mission?" She's good. Like any leader with someone from another military. Always trying to get another's country military tactics and missions.
"No, the only thing I can say is what we were told before we dropped and found out about the real mission. All I can say is that World War 3 was going on. It was started by some mysterious force, four months ago. The war had finally came to the land of my country. The part of the mission I can tell you was that my squad and I was suppose to H.A.L.O. jump to get into that city. We didn't know it was that city at the time of the jump. We only found out once we had left the plane."
"There is that much war where you are from, that the whole world has fought each other more than once? Also what is this H.A.L.O. jump that you speak of?"
"Well it's not the whole world fighting each other. There is just a crap ton of countries fighting each other so they name it a World War. Also yes there has been more than one of these. Yes before you ask a shit ton of people die. In the last one about sixty million people were killed. That is including the civilians and military death. That number equates to about three percent of the worlds population died. But that number varies in how many died. Some say more some say a little less. Now H.A.L.O. jumping is when we jump from a plane at 30,000 feet in the air. When we jump from this hight, we require oxygen mask and have to be completely covered because of the temperature at that hight. That's why I had so much gear on me, when you saw me. Now I would like to get my belongings back."
"That is horrible. How... Uhh I don't even no what to say about that." I nod and give her a look saying you don't have to say anything. "Now for you're stuff you will get it soon. Anyway so humans can fly?"
I nearly fell off my seat from laughing so hard at that stupid question. "Ha. No we can't fly. Human have technology for a machine that flies. We were jumping out of it. Don't ask why we jump out of perfectly good machine. Don't worry there are usually a pilot that does land said machine."
"Ok. Next question, those weapons. What are they?"
"Those are guns, they are what our modern weapons look like. Do you have them with you so I can show you? Don't worry I will disarm them so that they can't hurt anyone when I show you." With that Celestia's horn lit up and all of our weapons showed up. After they showed up I took out the mags and pulled back the slide to discharge the loaded round. The grenades, I just made sure the pins were fully in place. "Ok which one to begin with. Hmmmm. This one. Ok this is an M4A1, it is a fully automatic assault rifle. It files metal projectiles at a high rate speed that can go into and kill a good majority of things with one shot. To fire it you stick this in, it's called a magazine." I pointed to the magazines that goes to it. "This goes here and you pull this to cock it. Now if there was a mag in the gun, a bullet would be in the chamber. Now all you have to do is aim and pull this trigger. For safety they have a button near the trigger that if touched locks the trigger and prevents the gun to fire." Then I pulled up the M9. "This is M9 pistol. It's similar to the M4 but shoots a smaller metal projectile and does less damage. Besides that everything else applies." I then pulled up a grenade and made sure not to pull the pin. "Now this. This you really have to be careful with. This is what we call a grenade. It is a small explosive that uses the metal shrapnel to kill or injure the enemy. To use you pull this pin and let go of lever. Once that is done you have 5 seconds until it explodes."
After I finished explaining I put all the weapons back where they were. After that I looked up and Celestia's face was priceless. "Your… Your weapons are so deadly."
"Yeah they are, it make's my job that much easier. Humans aren't really a peaceful species as you can tell from World War 2. In war, we play dirty and try to take out the most people you can with the littlest amount of things. For instance a grenade. This is good for injury more than killing. One grenade can easily injure two to three people. Which then requires four to six people to cary out the injured. There for you now six to nine people out of a fight for the price of just one grenade." Her face looked unnerved yet still a little scared. Good thing I didn't tell her abut Hitler, when I briefly talked about WW2. "Don't worry I have no intention of harming any of you ponies."
She still looked shocked but nodded. "Now how about that dog of yours. Does he fight?" I told her everything I told the nurse when she asked. "That is insane what humans do."
"I know but him and I take great care of each other. He's save me more than I've saved him. I owe him my life for several situations he's gotten me out of."
"That is amazing."
"Yeah I love Zeus. Any more questions?"
"Yes I have one more. You have some interesting marks on your body. What are they?"
"Oh my tattoos." She nodded. "Well you know how they work. You have one." She looked confused. "On your butt, you have one."
She blushed. "Oh that, that isn't a tattoo. It's a cutie mark, it shows what our specialty it. We only get one once that specialty is discovered."
"Oh well in a way that is kinda similar to a tattoo. A tattoo is a mark that a human can get from a machine with needles that inject ink into our skin that stays permanently. I have a few. On my right side on the ribs I have my dog tags, just incase I some how lose mine. On my dog tags it says my full name, my social security number, my blood type and religion. Then on my left arm I have the logo of the Navy Seals. I have a few others by I don't wanna talk about them." She nodded. "So where am I going to be staying?"
"Well I think I should have you stay with one of the mane six. Who would you like to stay with? There is Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack or Rainbow Dash. Well except Rainbow Dash, she lives in a cloud. She can explain how that works to you. So would you like to live with?" The fucking pony lives in a cloud. How is that even remotely possible? I must inquire.
"Um lets go with Fluttershy."
"Sounds good. I'll take you there now." With that we were both and my dog were engulfed in a white light and landed in front of another tree house esk type of building. I could tell it was relatively in the country so I won't be bothered by the locals. Celestia knocked on the door. "Fluttershy, it's Princes Celestia. I have a question for you. Can you come here so I can ask you it?"
I began to here the sounds of hoofs coming to the door from the inside. "Um hi princeEEEEK." With that the door slammed shut. Shit well guess I should go somewhere else.
"Fluttershy he's not here to hurt you. He just need's a place to stay and I was wondering if he could stay here with you. Fluttershy."
With that, the sounds of hoofs hitting the floor came back to the door. The door opened beyond slow and she barely poked her head from behind the door. She spoke just above a whisper, "If the princess wants you to stay here you can. Umm hello there. I'm Fluttershy." She said as she hid behind her mane.
"Excuse me?"
"I'm Fluttershy." It was even quieter than the first time.
"What was that?"
"I'm Fluttershy." She was even quieter. How quiet can she get?
"Ok then umm yeah. Bye." I began to walk away when out of no where some ungodly force shoved me out of the way.
"Oh my god your dog isn't angry any more. He's so nice looking now. How did you do that?" Zeus looked slightly confused as Fluttershy flew out to him. Once she flew over to him, she started to rub Zeus around his head. More specifically around his mouth and the side of his face.
"He doesn't like that if he doesn't know you. So I wouldn't do…" Zeus tried to bite her. "that."
"Eeeeek!" She quickly flew back and hid behind the princess. Yup I saw that coming.
"So Fluttershy, I'm Leo and well I need a place to stay. I'm here to ask you if it is ok to stay with you for the time being?"
Fluttershy looked at Celestia, who nodded. She must have wanted to get the ok from someone of importance. She does seem really shy and well I probably did seem scary when first showed up here. "Um yes you can."
"Great. Now Celestia, where can I get my stuff?" Then there was a sudden blast and the rest of my belongings were in front of me. How? Oh wait magic. "Well thank you Princes. Now Fluttershy, where shall I be sleeping?"
"Um in the living room and on the sofa until I can get a bed of your size. If that is ok with you? I mean you can sleep in my bed and I can sleep on the couch if that works better." Right as I was about to respond there was a flash inside the house. No doubt it was from Celestia. As we went inside, Fluttershy went to where the flash came from. In the guest the room is where we ended up. "Um well it looks like the princes gave me a bed for you that is your size. Now I guess you can sleep here in the guest room. If you want."
"I think this will do just fine Fluttershy. Thank you again for letting me sleep in your place."
"Umm you're welcome."
Then I turned to face Celestia. "Thanks for the bed Celestia and thanks for being kind. I mean if this happened the other way around my kind would probably capture you then do science on you. Well even though I've been asleep for the past few day. I'm really tired and would like to go to sleep. Fluttershy, I will talk to when I wake up. Princess, I'll talk to you whenever you're back in town. Night Zeus."
The princess began to talk, "Sounds good Leo. I also have things to do back in the castle so I was about to leave anyway. I look forward to talking with you soon. Bye." Fluttershy said bye, then princes took off into the sky.
1st POV:
Finally Fluttershy and I made it to the train station, destined for the capital. It was only like a fifteen minute walk, so it wasn't to terrible. Plus we weren't the last ones there either. Before we left, I did decide to leave Zeus at Fluttershy's house. He was getting along with the other animals and taking him with us would be a lot. Now as we wait, all I can do is think about what I could've dreamed about that Luna wants to talk to me now. Where here comes the last pony of the five. It's a white mare, I believe this one is Rarity. Apparently she is the fashionista of this town. I think I'll need to talk to her soon. You know, only two pairs of military clothes can get you so far.
Now that everyone was here, we boarded the last car of the train. Since this was on official business for the princesses, we got a car for all of us, for free. We all filed in and I ended up sitting next to Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash sat with Applejack. Finally Twilight sat with Rarity. Twilight sat on the other side of the isle of me. Then Rainbow Dash sat behind me. Spike sat in front of us. "So Twilight, what is Spike? Is he some sort of lizard?"
"Well in a way I guess, he is part lizard. Technically though, Spike is a young dragon. I've raised him since I hatched him in class, when I use to live in Canterlot." The story behind the fact that a pony hatched a dragon has to be something. I must ask her about it sometime.
"That is very cool. So are all dragons sapient beings?"
"No not all. Like Spike, he wasn't suppose to be but I used my magic on his egg so he would developed into one. Now he can act and talk like any sapient being."
"So if one was to say find a dragon or a dragon egg. Could one, you know, keep the dragon or dragon egg?"
"Umm I don't see why not, if you could make it not be violent. For safety though on the legality of owning a dragon. I would ask Princes Celestia. For instance Spike is not my pet he is my assistant. That is because he is a sentient being. Why are you asking? Have you found one?" I nodded. Well I do think it would be pretty sweet to own a dragon.
"No, I was just wondering." I turned to Fluttershy to ask her opinion. "Hey Fluttershy, um how do you feel about dragons?"
I thought she was going to faint in front of me. She started hyperventilating and having a panic attack."Dra… Dra… Dragons! Where are the dragons? Eeeeeeek! Run!"
"Fluttershy, please calm down. I was just asking you what you thought of them, not that there is a dragon. Guessing from your response, I take it that you don't like them. If that is so, how do you handle Spike, he's a dragon?"
"Oh. Sorry for freaking out." She returned to her shy self for a second. "It's just I don't like dragons. Spike is different though because he is a baby dragon. He can't fly, set me on fire or eat me."
"That makes sense, I mean something that can eat me would be scary."
Well the rest of the train ride went very well. There was no events that happened as we got there. All we did was talk about things. Like the animals Earth has, some of the technology that Earth has, some of the fashion, and how some the farms worked. In total the train ride took like 3 hours so it wasn't to unbearable. The flights we made going to and from the Middle East took longer than this. Well as soon as we arrived in Canterlot, Twilight started to flip shit. "Oh my god we are here! It's time to meet the princesses. Leo this will be you first visit *sqwee*. Well the first visit that will be longer than like five minutes. Follow me every pony."
After she finished I turned to the rainbow maned pony, "Is she always like this when it comes to the princesses?"
She just laughed and nodded her head. "Oh you haven't even seen or know the half of it." Oh fuck me. We walked for about another fifteen minutes before we got to what looked like throne room. On the walls there appeared to be merles to past events. One looked to be defeating a dragon looking think that had parts of different animals. Another had a Luna look a like getting defeated. In all of them these except a few six ponies, that I live with, are in them. When they are it looks like there is light being shot out of them. Very, very interesting.
Right after I finished looking at the last one, Princess Celestia walked in. With her entrance I immediately stood at attention, as I would to any higher up. "Well hello my subjects, hello my student and hello Leo. When Luna get's here we shall begin. Leo I'm gonna need to talk to these six, so Luna and you can talk while she shows you around the castle. Ok?" I nodded. "Very good and look, here she comes. Hello sister, would you mind taking Leo here and showing him around the castle?"
"I wouldn't mind at all sister." This was the first time to my knowledge that I've seen this princess. She looked amazing. Her black fur sat amazing and her mane looked like that night sky. The only strange thing is that her mane and tail fluttered in a wind that was non-existent. I mean her sisters did to but I digress to something more important. Why am I finding her attractive? I even thought Fluttershy looked cute for a seconded when we apologized on the train. It has to be that I saw a human women that looked like her in some strange way
"So princess, what do you want to talk about?" I asked even though I know exactly what she wants to talk about. It's going to be about my dream last night. Why did she have to into my head? Ughhhhh why?
"You can call me Luna, Leo and relax. Well… it's about your dream or nightmare last night." Bingo. "It was, well, very dark and violent to put it lightly. I tried to make it better but there was nothing I could do to make it happy. From what I understood, it looked like war. The weapons that you were using looked like they caused horrific damage. There was a point where I witnessed someones are get cut off from a metal flying out of an explosion. I also just straight up saw someone get part of his body blown off." I just stood there in shock because now I know there is going to be a lot of explanation going to be needed. Fuck. I also was standing there because I was reliving that horrific day, with very great imagery of every event because of her. "Basically how violent was your race?" I didn't respond as I sat down trying to calm down. Leaning against the wall as I slid down it to the floor. "Are you alright?"
I just sighed. "Yeah just give me a minute. That day is very traumatic and you just made me relive it." After another few minutes I began to talk. "Before I explain, is there a place we can sit, so I'm not on the floor? This may or may not be a long conversation."
"Yes there is, just follow me."
3rd Person:
Back With the Main 6:
Princess Celestia decided it was time to talk. "Hello my subjects, I brought you here not because of something bad but it is in regard to our new friend Leo. Most of you do not know but last night Luna went into Leo's dream. In his dream literally all of tartarus was go off. Fluttershy you were there last night. Could you explain what it was like outside of the dream before I explain more of what was happening."
"Yes Princes. Ok last night I was awoken to Leo screaming, yelling, shaking and profusely sweating. His whole bed was drenched in sweat. Then his screams were almost those of blood curling. Before I saw him like that, I began to panic in thinking that something was attacking him because of his screaming. I went to his room as fast as I could, when I got there all I finally saw him shacking which was borderline thrashing in his bed and the sweat. I felt his forehead and he was burning up. I went strait to the kitchen and got a bowl of water and a towel to try to cool him off. As I did that, I was trying to wake him up but he wouldn't. He was constantly yelling what I would believe are military terms. That's all I have and I did all I could to help."
"We all know you did Fluttershy, you never do anything less. Ok now for what happened in his dream. From what I understood from Luna, the dream was actually an old memory. That's why when she put everything into it to make the outcome better it wouldn't change. It started out fine, just a normal military mission for him… then all of sudden things start going bad and these metal projectiles start flying all over the place, explosions were going off. From what I understood, the mission was suppose to be no problem. No one should have known they were there. I mean for the first half hour they didn't but after that things went bad fast. People were getting killed left and right. I'm not sure if you saw from a scar on his chest but Leo was shot in this mission. He took one of those metal things straight to the chest to save a fellow soldier. This soldier he saved happened to be the one that is in a coma back in Ponyville. If the metal thing hit two millimeters to the left it would have hit his heart and he would have been dead. He lost a lot of good men that fight. Only John and him made it out of there alive. John was shot in his left calf and right shoulder. At one point in this mission someone called in something called a 'missile'. This thing came in out of no where from the sky and when it hit, there was just a huge explosion that had destroyed a couple buildings." Celeste paused because she knew that this was a lot to take in. So she gave the six time to absorb this before she continued.
Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie were in tears from hearing how selfless he was and that he almost died. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were sniffling and trying to hold the tears back with their jaws was almost hitting the floor. Twilight just stood there dumb founded that Leo's race could be so violent and there is him who would be violent but also selfless to give his life to save a friend.
1st Person:
Leo's POV:
"That Luna, is what happened that mission. Which is actually a good example of how violent we humans can be. The only thing it really didn't show is a nuke. That is a bomb that can destroy a city at minimum and also leave the area it explode non-habital for many years after." I had just finished explaining that importance of this mission. It was so hard to talk about that mission again. So many good men gave their life for our country. When I finished I was looking at the ground so when I looked up, I saw Luna's face for the first time. It looked like one of horror and of pure sadness. Tears were beginning to run down her face. She walked over and gave me a hug but stayed a lot longer than I would stay for a normal hug. "Luna it's in the past don't worry about it. Now just stay out of my head when I sleep. If you stay out, then you wont have to deal with pain I went through to get to where I am today. Only I will have to suffer and that is what I will have. Let me keep my nightmares to myself."
"I… I… I can't do that Leo. You gave so much for you country. I can't ask you to suffer from this, I will do all I can to stop this from happening to you. If going in your head and having to go through the nightmare with you every night is what it takes to help you get better, than so be it. We will make these nightmares go away."
"No! You can't do this. I can't let you do this. Enough people have suffered and died because of me. I will not let another person, I mean pony, suffer because of me. Look at John, he wasn't suppose to go on this mission. He only went because I made him and said, 'I wouldn't go on this mission with out my friend.' Now look at him? He's in a fucking coma. You ponies seem very innocent. Now I'm not saying you having seen war and everything. Just compared to what I have seen since I have gotten here, you haven't seen a damn thing. If you go in my head you will most likely have to go through the dream as if you are there in person and will probably be traumatized. I don't want that to happen to you."
"Leo I'm your friend and I'm willing to go through anything to make sure you get better." So now I'm friends with a princess. Hmmm, ok than.
"Why? Why do this? You don't know me. You don't owe me anything." That came out a lot more colder than it meant to. I was just beyond shock that this pony, a princess, would do this to an 'alien.'
"You wanna know why? I'm doing this because I care for you Leo. Even for how tough you are from being a soldier, you seem like a generally nice guy. Even though you may not be from this world, you are staying here in my country. I hate to see anyone who is in my country suffer."
"Fine I will accept that and be ok with you going in my head and trying to help. One rule, if I declare the dream to be to much. You leave my head at that moment and no questions asked. Understand?" She nods and I knew one dream she would never be allowed to see. "Good. You know Princess, you seem like a very nice person too. I mean pony. You seem like a nice pony too. God these terms are going to mess with me." We just laughed.
"Thanks." While we continued to talk, Luna had to go out for a second and left me in the room we were in. While she was gone, I look outside and saw that we had been talking so long that it had became night. When she came back she noticed me looking out the window of the room. "How do you like the night sky?"
"I love it. Yes I love the sun because I do get tan and it can be warm. Plus there are somethings that are nice to do in the day. Overall though, I prefer the night to the day. Everything I love to do is nicer to do at night. Whether that is playing soccer, watching soccer, snowboarding, driving, flying, anything."
"That is awesome! Not many ponies tell me such nice things about my night."
"Your night?" When I asked that, she looked like she slipped about something. It didn't cause a pause in the conversation.
"Yes my night. My sister raises and lowers the sun. I raise and lower the moon." Pause. Did she just say that she lowers and raises the moon and her sister does the same? What the actual hell? She said like it was no big deal. "Now did you say you can fly?"
"Well no but humans have machines that allow us to fly anywhere but yes I guess we can." I go on to give a quick and very basic overview of how planes work. To say she looked confused is an understatement. "Now we also have these suits that allows to glide down and having things called parachutes to helps us land safely, if we choose to jump from a high hight."
"Do you have this suit and parachute thing with you?"
"Yes I do. Would you like to see it?"
"If you wouldn't mind." I nodded and pulled out the thought, laying it on the table in between us. Then I held the bag my parachute is in. Then I took the chute out and unfolded it carefully to make sure not tangle the lines, placing it on the floor. Afterwards I told how each thing worked. How the chute catches air and what not. How the suite directs air around it keeping us from falling and allowing us to turn and do things in the air. She looked amazed at how humans got around the not being able to fly, physically. "Umm would you like to fly and see it work?"
"Really? You would want to do that?"
"Yes. I would like to see how this suit of your and parachute works when actually being used. After you get dressed I shall teleport us to the highest point."
"Sounds good. Let me get dressed and then we will tell the others. Now how will we get back though?"
"Ok be quick. Then for getting us back, I can teleport us." I nodded as she left the room to allow me to get changed. Quickly I was done and met her in the hallway. With that there was a flash and we were in front of the others. They seemed sad, I guess Celestia told them about my dream. She had no right to tell people, dammit I fucking mean pony, about dream and my life. The first to do anything was Fluttershy. She flew gently and slowly over to me and wrapped her front hooves around my neck in what I assume was a hug. When she did this I got to really see how small they are. Fluttershy only came down to my waist. Her legs ended around my knee.
"Leo I'm so sorry you had to go through that. No pony should ever have to go through that." I felt so bad for how bad Fluttershy was feeling. I'm just glad that she thinks this is the worse that I have had.
"I know Fluttershy." I wrapped my arms around her and started to run my hand through her mane subcontiously.
Then Rainbow Dash was the first to mention the thing I'm wearing. "Leo what is that thing you got on?"
"It allows me to fly from a high place. Well the better term instead of flying would be glide. So that is what me and Luna are about to do." They seemed a little shocked at that and the fat that I'm on a first name basses with Princess Luna.
"Can I join you guys? I am the best flyer in all of Equestria." Rainbow Dash threw the her little cocky voice in the emphasize that she is good.
"Finnnnnnnne! Luna beam me up Scotty." They all looked confused. "Uhh it's an Earth thing. Can you just teleport us to the highest part so we can fly now." She nodded and then after a quick flash we were on top of the roof of the highest building. I looked off the distance and I could see Ponyville. "Let me check my equipment to make sure that I'm good to go. Ok. Ok. Ok. Time to fly." I turned to face them and put my helmet and face mask and goggles on. I gave them a thumbs up and saluted. Once that was done, I brought my arms in, closed my eyes, took a breath and fell backwards off the roof.
As I fell I heard gasps, I guess I may have forgot to mention how I was going to launch. After I fell a good 30 feet of so I opened my eyes and saw all the ponies leaning over the roof to see me. "Oh my god princess save him!" I heard Twilight yell. All of them had a look of horror and Princess Celestia horn started to glow. She must be about to catch me with her magic. So with that I rolled over and spread my legs and arms so that I could catch some air. When that happened I swear I heard every pony sigh in relief. With that I just laughed to myself and headed towards Ponyville.
Shortly after I started gliding towards Ponyville the castle blow ended and the mountain went straight down. Hmmm I wanna try something. I also began to hear the flapping of wings. Looking over my shoulder I saw the blue mare and the princess. Giving the birth a smirk, I rolled on my back and tilted my head back and arched my back to cause me to dive down the mountain side. They quickly followed me in the nose dive. Luna pulled up first at about a couple hundred feet. Rainbow Dash caught up with me and we were neck in neck with the ground speeding towards our faces.
The altimeter in my hud began to scroll faster and faster as I fell towards the ground. 500 feet, still diving. 400 feet, still diving. 300 feet, lower than I have ever dared to open at but she's still diving so I still am. Looking at her, she is now smirking at me and I smirk back. 200 feet, need to open now or I'm gonna crash. She's not pulling up, so nearly am I. God if I die, I'm going to be pissed. 100 feet, why is she not panicking yet. I have to open my arms and legs now or I'm gonna be a pancake. Right as I was about to, I gave a quick look and saw Dash open her wings. Yes I have won and with that I opened but when I looked a head I began to panic.
"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. There is so many trees." I tried to pull up but there was to much down wards momentum to pull up fast. Though the dive gave me enough momentum to shoot off like a bullet along the ground. So fast. About 30 feet in front of me there was a tree. I decided to lean to the right and to go around the tree. Then there was another tree and had to bank left. After that I was able to pull up and climb back up several hundred feet. Holy shit that was amazing. The adrenaline rushing through my body is insane. Though here comes Luna and she looks a tad bit upset about this whole incident.
"You! You! You, crazy human! You know how insanely dangerous that is? You could have died. Then what? Hmmm! You almost gave me another heart attack today. Please stop doing stuff like that. " She's not just upset. She is pissed off, infuriated.
"Calm down Luna. I know how dangerous that was. Yes I know that is the lowest I have every tried to pull up but I wanted to test myself to see how low I could go before I pull up." I think Luna almost fainted as she fell several feet before regaining her altitude. Probably shouldn't have mentioned the fact that I've never dove that low. "Luna seriously just calm down, I'm sorry for scaring you again. I won't do that again unless I let you know in advance. Ok."
"Ok."
Then Rainbow Dash flew up next to me. "That was awesome! You are awesome in my book now! Celestia the wind was insane when dove. I was woo and you were like woo and then when we close to the ground we were like pull up. So we gotta do that again." I just looked at her and smiled but I could feel Luna's stare burning a hole in the back of my head. Shortly after thought magic beams came flying at me. I was dodging and weaving. "Luna what is this?" I yelled.
"I don't know, the guard knows better to shoot. They know I'm going out flying with a guest. There is only one pony... Oh Blueblood. I have a few choice words for him when we get back. Before anymore words could be spoken I got dived on but dodged at the last second by a pegasus. What the actual fuck. Luna caught an orange one with fire colored hair and asked her what was going on. Before the pegasus could call the other ones off after the lashing Luna just gave her, another dove me. This time it clipped me and I lost control for a second.
I noticed it was dark and I like dark. There also happened to be gorge coming up. I lowered the night vision goggles that were on my helmet and aimed towards the gorge. Just before the next one could hit me I dove straight down and did the same thing as I did not even five minutes early with Rainbow Dash. This time I had a fucking armada of pegusi on my ass. I was going even fast and noticed dark blue trails coming off me as I bobbed and weaved through the rocks. The blue almost looked like are aurora Luna's horn gives off when she uses magic. Slowly I began to feel like I was speeding up but that isn't possible, I'm in a leveled flight.
I didn't have time to think of that as a large bolder came down and I just dodged it. Looking back I noticed several pegasi hitting the rocks that jutted off the cliff face on both sides. One even hit the boulder I dodged. Above the gorge were that orange mare, Rainbow and Luna trying to catch up and stop the others. The three also looked shocked, I wonder why. Next thing I that happened is that I went to look at myself and well to say the least I freaked out. So did the others as I heard them all yell in confusion. But in my shock I brought my hands in and well when you're flying twenty or so feet of the ground that isn't a good idea. Shortly I felt massive pain in my side and tumbled head over heals in the bottom of the gorge. Next thing I knew is that I flickered a few times before being visible again.
Luna, Rainbow and that orange one defended on me and called off the others. Shortly Luna turned around looking sad and agree again but this time she also had a slight bit of concern in her face. Why is she concerned?
Day One and Getting Invite to the Capital
"No! No! Nooooooo!" I woke yelling and covered in sweat like I was having a nightmare but I couldn't remember my dream at all. Which is so fucking strange. Why was I yelling? When I sat up after rubbing my eyes, I saw Fluttershy just rushing in the door with a bucket and a wet rag. "Hey, what is with that for?"
"Umm you were having a really bad nightmare. It actually woke me up from the yelling and scared me. When I came to check on you, you were shacking, yelling at something and sweating like crazy. I was putting wet rags on your head trying to help keep you cool. You woke up just I was coming back from getting more cold water."
"I'm sorry for scaring you Fluttershy. Also thank you for trying to make me feel better." Uhh what was I dreaming? Why can't I remember? The last time I woke up like this was from a night terror. It is just I never had someone trying to make me feel better.
Then she asked me what I was thinking, "What was the nightmare? That is if you don't mind me asking."
"I don't mind you asking it just, umm... I really don't know what I was dreaming. I can't remember a single thing from my I dream. I've woken up like this though when I have had night terrors. Usually when I wake up, I know what it is about but for some reason I can't right now. Please don't ask me what they usually are, I don't wanna talk about it. Ok?"
She looked at me questioningly. Almost like questioning, could they really be that bad that you won't even give me the chance to ask you about them. Anyway Fluttershy didn't ask anymore and moved on. "Ok? Well you must have been having a horrible nightmare if Princess Luna wiped you dream completely. I'm sorry for you dream being that bad." The fuck she just say? Princess Luna wiping my nightmare? Don't make me laugh.
"Don't be sorry. Now excuse me, what did you say about my dream being erased?" I barked at her. Fluttershy backed up and hid even more behind her mane. Now I felt bad for barking but I mean who wouldn't.
"Um Princess Luna, the Princess of the Night. Well she can go into peoples dreams. She does this to prevent nightmares from either happening and/or help ponies recognize their fears so you can fight them. She only wipes a pony's dream completely if it is a really really bad nightmare. Like beyond salvageable. I'm so sorry that she went into your dream. She was only trying to help." When she finished, I could hardly see her behind her mane anymore.
"It's… It's ok. You really don't have to apologize for the princess going in to my dream. It's not like you told her to or made her and she was just doing her job. If anything I should be apologizing to you. I'm sorry that I barked at you, I had no right to do that. You were only being helpful and explaining things to me. I only barked because I don't want people to see what I have seen. Also I don't want people in my head." I laughed at that last statement. Fluttershy even let out a slight chuckle. "Now the reason I don't want her to be doing this is because of what I have seen. Some of the is shit I've is some really messed up because of war. I don't know what war is like here because you guys have magic. Overall in the short time I've been here this country does seem quite peaceful, significantly more than where I come from. Even though I love where I come from, war is very common and very graphic in nature. I've killed a lot of bad people and I've seen a lot of good and bad people get killed. Every person I have killed or seen killed haunts me. So I thank that she did get rid of my nightmare, I just don't want her to. To prevent her from seeing how bad my race can really get. Do you understand me?" She seemed scared from what I just said but she did nodded timidly. Crap I probably just scared her from saying I've killed people and everything. "Now don't worry everyone I killed was in fact bad. Those people threatened to or did harm people in my military, my country and other friendly countries. I would never kill someone who didn't deserver it. Trust me when I say I won't harm a hair on you or anyone else here, unless they threaten or harm one of you or I. You understand that, right?" Well all but one of my kills I made was a bad guy. I will never forget that day. I'm so sorry Lauren. Now is not the time to remember and she doesn't need to know. Fluttershy nodded at me, in that she understood my question. "Good, now I need to go work out and I have to stop at the hospital. I'll shall try to be back in like an hour." I said trying to smile but was being prevented as the memory of that one kill began to come back to me. I'm just glad she didn't question it anymore because she could probably tell something was up.
"Just stay of the forest, please. It's really dangerous out there."
"Sounds good. I shall not go into any forest. Now can you please leave so I can change."
"Why? Ponies don't normally wear clothes anyway." Where did that boldness come from?
"Let just say a stallions anatomy and a male human anatomy is quite different." She gave me a questioning look. "Uhh they are different when it comes to the genitalia region." Still she gave me a questioning look. I just shook my head, like really. Like how can you not get the idea. "Uhhh let me use precise words. Us, human males, do not have sheaths that cover our penis. Now do you understand why I would like you to leave?" The mare went from yellow to red in a second, her wings fluttered and I'm pretty sure only half an eye wasn't covered by her mane. When her wings fluttered she got even got more red. Do pegasus's get wing boners? She eeped and then quickly ran out of the room and I just laughed at her response. Quickly I put on a pair of gym shorts and took my short off before I left the room. Before I left the room I turned and faced Zeus. "Hey buddy you wanna come on a run with me?" Bark. "Come on then Zeus. You know the drill." When I went into the living room I saw, a now yellow faced, Fluttershy just sitting in the middle playing with her rabbit. If she was human this would look really cute and adorable. Even though she was a pony, it still look a little cute. Why am I finding this cute?
Once I was in her view and she saw me topless her face went red almost as fast as it did a minute ago. This time her wings even shot straight open and they were stiff. Just like last time her face got even redder. Yup pegasus definitely get wing boners. Now the question is, why is she getting one now? We aren't even the same species. Uhh this is strange, I need to just run and clear my head.
I went back into my room because I forgot to grab my iPhone and headphones. As I past her on my way out, her wings were still extended and I saw her, red as ever, trying to put them down but they weren't going down. It was actually quite comical to see but I wasn't going to keep bugging her about it. When I got outside I laughed at what had just happened as I set my music and put my headphones in. Ahhh now what to listen to. Hmm… I'm thinking start with Post To Be by Omarion Ft. Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko. Very up beat to begin a run and I like it. Now where to run? Pff lets just go and make my way out, go to the hospital and then come back.
I started running from Fluttershy's and crossed a bridge then hung a right. Before I knew it I was singing and enjoying my time. It was a beautiful sunny day, the temperature nice. It couldn't be nicer for a workout out doors. I maybe got 10 minutes into my run before I got to Sweet Apple Acres. I wonder if this is where Applejack works? I mean if she did work here it would make sense. Just as I past the barn my question was answered. Standing there was the blond maned, orange fured, stencil hat wearing pony. She looked to be carrying a buckets of apples to the barn.
Applejack POV:
I was just taking a few baskets of apples I had just bucked back to the barn, when I saw Leo run by. Applebloom was on the other side of me and hopefully didn't see. Celestia though, Leo is hot especially as he runs with his dog. The sweat running down his body and he's so muscular. His muscle definition is so nice. His abs look so amazing. I wonder if all soldiers from his home world look like this. I wonder if John looks like that? God why am I feeling like this, he's not my species. I mean it's legal for interspecies relationships here but it still feel strange. Grrr.
All of a sudden I hear my sister's voice. "Hey big sis. Who is that hot two legged stallion, hairless, ape thingy running with a dog?" Crap, I frowned.
"That is a human, Applebloom and he is a friend. His name is Leo and he's from another world. Apparently he served in his countries military." That is when I looked down at my sister. When I did, I did not like the look in her eyes. "Applebloom remember the talk I just gave you." She gave me that look that says, 'Awww come on sis.' "Yes that still applies to him sugar cube. Even though he ain't a normal stallion, he is still a male. You hear?"
She sighed and nodded but blushed because she knew exactly what I was talking about. Just the other day I had to give her the talk . The whole birds and the bees talk. I'v never been so uncomfortable talking to my sister, than I was during that. Well at least she know how babies are made. Also that ponies do it, no pun in tended, for pleasure. Celestia, I can't believe she's that old that she needed to know that. "Aww but sister. He isn't even a pony."
"Doesn't matter AB. He is still a male and you are still a filly. You understand me? If I catch anything shenanigans, you will have tartarus to pay because I know it will be your fault. He probably wouldn't know better since he is not a pony and all. Do you understand me?" She gulped then nodded but I wouldn't mind that hot piece of flank. It's a double standard but I don't care.
Just as he went out of view, Applebloom went towards her club house and Rainbow Dash flew in. "He Dash, how's it going?"
"It's been going good. Pshhh, it's been amazing if what I think I saw is what I actually did see. Did I just see Leo run by here with his dog? Though I did notice a bunch of markings on his body and I think I saw a even a few scars. I really wonder what the markings are and how he got the scars. He probably got the scars from being awesome, like me." I could tell even she found it attractive. As much as she tried to play it cool, I could still tell how she is feeling.
"Yes you did. You can stay here because if he wants to get back to Fluttershy he will fun past us again. Unless he wants to go through the Everfree Forest."
"Oh yeah. Hang on." With that she took off with her rainbow trail following. No more than like 30 seconds and she was back. With her she had two lawn chairs a two pair of sunglasses and two boxes of popcorn. I just shook my head.
"Um what are those for?"
"For the show of corse. Have a seat." I just laughed and did as she said. Almost a minute after that Leo came into view again. We sat there and ate our popcorn but once he got closer in our view. We stopped eating an pulled our glasses down our snout. "Ahh he's so hot." I looked at Dash and man I've never seen those wings more opened and her face more red than right now. Right as I looked away, I saw Leo stopped and looking at us at the fence to the farm. He wasn't just looking at us looking at him, he was straight up posing or us. Then I saw a grin being to appear on his face. Shit, he knew we were doing, Dash turned more red and I turned red so fast.
He yelled out, "You gotta do better than that if you wanna get a look without me catching you." He began to run again and laughed as he went. As he left, I was able to notice the markings and scars she talked about. I wonder if those markings a humans version of a cutie mark and those scars. How did he even get those? Some of the markings appears to be words and others appeared to be images. For the scars, I couldn't even imagined what he must have gone through. There was a scar that went right through his chest, maybe a few inches from his left shoulder. If his anatomy is anything like ours. What ever caused that injury had to have hit his heart.
Leo's POV:
I had to stop in front and mess with the the two mares that were not so discreetly trying to look at me. I've seen humans do this but never did expect a pony to do this. Well I finally made it back and did my push ups and sit ups. I didn't get to do the swim because I didn't know where to swim. I will need to ask someone about a swimming pool or lake or something to swim in. I also stopped at the hospital so that I could have a nice conversation with John. Yes he didn't talk back but it was nice to feel like he was listening. We talked about the run, about Rainbow Dash and Applejack. Finally I apologized again for bringing him on the mission. I hope he will be able to forgive me the day he wakes up.
When I went to town to see John, similar things happened similar to when I when I was at Sweet Apple Acres. All the mares would stop and look at me. Before I went inside the hospital I put my shirt on, I swear I heard a moan of why. Then when I came out, I took my shirt off and tucked it in the back of my shorts. When this happened, I swear I heard cheers. God these women are crazy. Finally after another 10 minutes I made it home.
I knelt down and rubbed Zeus's head. "Well good run today Zeus, we just ran like 10 miles. Time to go in and see Fluttershy. Hopefully she can handle seeing me now. I am covered in sweat and shining in the light." Once I got inside Fluttershy made eye contact with me. Shit here it goes again, three… two… one… wings and red face engaged. Oh wait this is new, she's falling down and oh wait, she's fainted. "Well shit. Ok let me put you on the couch." I said as if she would be responding to me.
3 Hours Later:
"Hey sleepy one wake up." She opened her eyes shocked and immediately sat up and our head collided. Did… did her lips just touch mine. I raised my hands to my lips, like that was going to solve the mystery. The almighty sherlock hand is on the case, I laughed to myself. "Did you just kiss me?" Now I was the one beginning to blush. Why am I blushing, she is a pony for god sake. Plus I've kissed my fare share of women anyway. Yes, none were a female pony but still they were of the female variety.
"Um… yes. I… I mean no. I… I don't know. I just uhh sat up and next thing I knew, my lips hit yours. I… I... I... I'm sorry. Oh god I have to go take care of the animals." Her face was red again and wings extended. Damn this girl got the hots for me. She tried to get off the couch but I stopped her.
"Fluttershy it's ok, don't worry about it. Also while you were asleep I took care of your animals." The face of shock she wore when I told her that I did that was priceless.
"Really you did? You really took care of the animals for me?" I nodded. "Oh thank you so much Leo, you really didn't have too."
"It's the only thing I could do since you passed out. Now I'm still a little sweaty and of need a shower. I'll talk to you when I get out of the shower." Quickly I got up and headed to the shower. Wow today has been interesting to say the least, what else could happen? Right after I got into my bedroom I heard a knock on the door.
"I got it." Fluttershy called out. I cracked my door open so I could hear them. "Oh hey Twilight. What is it?"
That's when I heard another voice. "Hello Fluttershy is Leo here?"
"Yeah he is getting dressed. Why do you need him?"
"Well I just need to tell him and you that we have gotten invited to Canterlot. The princesses want to talk to him. Specifically Princess Luna, she said it had to do with his dream he had recently but wouldn't put anymore detail in the letter. Anyway we need to leave now. Oh and Leo if ask where the Castle is, tell him to look up the mountain. Well I gotta go, can you give him the news, Fluttershy? I gotta go, bye."
"I shall and see you soon Twilight." With that I heard the door the shut and Fluttershy head back to my room. Ohhh I'm bringing my wing suit. I know exactly how I'm getting back from there. I mean I do need some flight training. "Hey Leo. Um may I enter? If you're ok with that."
"Yes I'm fine with it. Come on in."
"Well I got news from Twilight saying that we have to got to Canterlot and Princess Luna wants to talk to you. It's something about talking about a dream you just recently have. I'm not sure why though, apparently she wouldn't say more than that in the letter. I mean I also don't know why she wants my friends and I to go." She finished and began to head out but stopped. "Oh yeah, we need to leave now and head to the train station. If you wanna see the place before we leave. Look up the mountain over there." She pointed to the left of me.
"Sounds good, I'll be packed in just a second Fluttershy. I'll see you by the front door." Hmm ok defiantly bringing my wing suit and helmet. Gotta make sure my parachute is packed correctly. Now I gotta bring my side arm and rifle. What the hell, I'll bring night vision. That should be plenty incase anything goes south with the people there. Well time to get to the train station and head to the capital. "I'm ready Fluttershy."
