(His tribe lives in a mountain range just FYI important but not right now... Oops spoilers!) It was chaos. "Oohoho! What do we have hear?" A voice that sounded like a female, "a pony from in the mountains? Joy oh joy! And what brings you out here little boy?" "Where are you unicorn?!" Epic asked. "You don't know anything, do you? First I'm not a pony. I'm a dragon, second this is a nice little place called Equestrea." The voice said. "D-dragon?! Y-your kidding, you're kidding right...?" Epic asked in a terrified manner, just then a massive dragon came down in front of him. "No I'm not," the dragon said. The dragon's thick armour (I can't spell the word I wanted so I went with this, basically it's hide) was a firey red and had deep blue eyes and a wingspan of about 50 meters, "my name is, Rinicknica and I'm the protector of the path, those who seek to destroy the peace have to go through me," Rinicknica in a friendly tone. "*gulp* I-I'm Epic Pony, a-and I'm just a lonely pony... PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!" Epic stated nurvesly. "Eat you? Why would I do that? I mean unless you were evil -which you aren't- I wouldn't even think of attacking you!" She laughed, "oh and by the way I can smell evil, and you aren't, actually you have a lot of harmonious magic in you, what are you?" "I-I'm a pony," he said calming down slightly. "I know that, but I-- oh, OH!" She said and then started jumping around like a mad pin-DRAGON, mad dragon, "that power... You are a direct descendant of the original tribe leader! He died long ago, but it feels like yesterday I last saw him! Oh? What's that?" Epic looked at what she was looking at and saw a rainbow appear out of nowhere a bright flash and the chaos looked like it was half of what it was, "new rulers huh? Welp, all hail... "Oops, wrong cenery's slang, oh and by the way using my draconic magic I can see the future, but only unintrusting stuff, so pretty much useless," she stated looking at the extremely confused pegasus. Gilia set Epic off, Epic growled at her befor striking her out of pure rage, Gilia didn't expect that reaction and thought it would be safer to hide than strike the agrovated pegasus, so she tried to do that but he was much faster than he looked, she was captured instantly. Epic stated. "Epic Pony, I have a message for you," a stallion's voice said. "Come in! And bring Gilia with you," Epic replied. Epic had disappeared, when Gilia went in she was amazed by the amount of books Epic was carrying. "Epic are you crazy that amount of books on your back will crush you!" But Epic ignored her the library was set up in a neat and tidy manner, adult books one end children's books at the other and all in alphabetical order A first and Z last just befor the children's section. And Epic had all the books on any information he could find. It looked like their was a mini library on his back. "I've carried an entire pub bar with the alcohol and it was ten times lighter than this, and I'm not even trying!" Epic said. That left Gilia's gawking at him for an hour and a half before Epic snapped her back into reality. "You, hu what?!" She exploded in confusion. "Not so loud this is a library!" Epic said. "How?!" I'm not sure of all the rules to the spell but if the heart of the pony is filled with light or darkness they get ether wings or a horn." Epic asked. ~play My Little Pony:Friendship Is Magic theme~ After the minni library was put away, Epic and Gilia were talking and Epic was making something on the stove. "So Epic what are you making?" Gilia asked with curiosity trailing from her voice. "Something yummy, scrummy and delicious!" Epic said with excitement flowing from his voice. "What?" Gilia asked. "Not telling!" Epic said in a teasing manner. "... Tell me. Now." The griffin said in a stern voice. "You can't make me," Epic said, "hear this is for you, I finished cooking!" The two had went to a sushi bar and had some sushi, but Gilia wanted some sider and bear, Epic said no, but Gilia said it would be fun... Little did she know how much alcohol she was going to drink. After Gilia's 50th glass Epic said no more alcohol. Gilia ceapt going, after her hundruth glass, Epic cancelled her next order, and they left, Gilia payed because Epic didn't have any money. They were currently outside Gilia's Penthouse apartment of her hotel. "You need someone to watch you for the night though, so I will stay with you. Could you open the door please?" Epic told Gilia, she opened the door and they went inside her house. "Thanks for looking after me... *Hick* I reeallly appppreciate, iiiit." Gilia said before she passed out. "Good night," Epic said when he put her in her bed. Afterward he left, got a blanket and sleeped on the couch.

"It's extremely dangerous, first, you can die because of your liver deciding to go camecazy, second, drink flying, from where I'm from, is illegal, and I intended to never taste a drop of alcohol at all in my life." Epic went into rant mode. (What? People do rant about this kind of stuff!) "At least one of us were thinking straight, but kill me? No alcohol can't kill, knives kills, fire kills, arrows kills, a little liquor? No, can't kill." Gilia ranted back. "I think someone forgot who has the messed-up time mountain knowledge." Gilia said getting quite near the end. "I found the best place! I saw it on the way hear," Epic said and started walking through the mass of ponies swarming the streets. Just as she predicted the small establishment was quit quiet, and the menu was a nice little group of sandwiches, tea, coffee and scones. "*Blech* I hate coffee, tastes disgusting! I prefer tea, I'll have a cucumber sandwich, with some orange juice." Epic said to Gilia and the shop assistant. "I'll have a English Breakfast tea, and BLT, please." Gilia said. "Coming right up!" The tan mare. Epic and Gilia went over to a spare table and sat down. Five minutes later, the food and drinks were served (don't think that's written correctly). "BLT, huh? I don't like the T but the rest I will gladly eat any time of day! So, Gilia, how has your day been?" Epic asked. "Fine just, chasing you all over town, ripping my feathers out, and giving up, just to find you next to me... You know the usual." Gilia said, in a sarcastic manner. "Ouch, right in the heart!" Epic said in a mocking fashion. "Oh, shut it!" Gilia said. As the two ate there food, customers entered and left, but... "I SAID I WANT TO TALK TO YOUR MANAGER!!! STUPID B--!" An agrivated station, with a brown coat, silver mane, and a peace of poo stabbed by a knife for a cutiemark (Cutiemark, Cutie Mark?) and gray eyes, started, but Epic sucker punched (hoofed?) him in the face. "No yelling at the shop assistant!!! Sorry about that, Ma'am," he said. "Ya' think ya' tough?! Huh?! I'll tear you to shreds!!!" The mad pony yelled at Epic. "Nice knowing you, bye!" Epic said before running like a scaredy cat... Man that pony is fast... "Get back hear kid! I'm not done with you yet!" The crazed earth pony yelled. Just before Epic sneak attack, knocking the brown earth pony out instantly. But his friend came out to fight as well, nether Gilia or Epic saw what they looked like, so yea... "One unicorn, and two pegesi, peace of cake, also, Gilia, get me some cake please!" Epic said. Then went straight up into the sky, the two pegesi followed, Epic hit one in the stomach, tried to hit the other, but the unicorn stopped him, for exactly five seconds before Gilia took him out. Epic then proceed to taunt his opponent, then his opponent chased him, but, the stupid peges forgot the ground excited and crashed while Epic glided away. Epic and Gilia headed back inside, and the pony at the counter looked just shocked, and said; "that was incredible, how did you beat them so easily?!" "Oh it was nothing, just helping out sompony that doesn't get the credit she deserves." Epic said. "Those four were nothing but trouble, and no one was brave enough to challenge them. Or even foolish enough, but you just straight up showed him what for, and beat him! You are just incredible! And you two have good teamwork!" The mare said, "oh, but where are my manners? My name is, Sweet Delite." "Epic, Epic Pony is the name! And this is Gilia Galia," Epic introduced. "Hear, (wrong one right?) a victory cake!" Sweet Delite said. This is deep... 7View OnlineThe Pony and the shadowsThis is deep... 7It was a nice sunny day, and Epic had a bad feeling, a very bad feeling indeed, and when ever he had a bad feeling, you should be wary of what could have caused it... The sun was shining brightly and the animals were frolicking in the forest, grasslands and the rest of the wilderness, but today Epic and Gilia were tasked with the job of cleaning out an abandoned house leftover after the era of Discord. Epic wasn't scared, on the outside, on the inside he was EVEN LESS SCARED. So he was just worried about the house falling down on them--oh wait, IT'S A FRECKING MANNER HOUSE?! Well... OK then ether way he was just wondering if the safety of both of them is certain. "Um Gilia? This place doesn't look safe..." Epic said. "What? Are you scared? Hmm by that expression I'd say no. But the building? I don't know... Maybe? Just follow me and fix what you can." Gilia said. "I don't know what to do with fixing a broken broom, how can I fix a manner?" Epic replyed. Gilia got out the key to the front door, and opened it, and a loud sqeek came from the door as it open. The hous had plants growing everywhere the walls were decades old and wall paper peeling off there where cracks everywhere and the windows looked like they ether needed a good cleaning, or be replaced entirely. This house was very obviously built for pegesi, because there was only one set of stairs off to the side to get to the second to third floor. The doors on all sided of the room were very obviously ancient, the wood looked like it would break if you touched it. "I have a bad feeling about this, Gilia, can I go back please?" Epic said, wishing the creepy vibe he was getting would go away. "We need to fix this place up, ghosts or ghouls, pony or demon, I hope you understand," Gilia said with resolve to go into the creepy manner. "I do, I just have a bad feeling about this," he said as they walked into the manner, the door creaked shut with a loud bang, Epic jumped at the loud noise, but just continued. Some time later, Gilia was cutting down ivy that was growing on the walls and Epic was eating any plant that looked edible, "Epic, tell me why you had a bad feeling earlier? There's nothing that went wrong yet an-" Gilia said but fell down a hole hidden underneath the plants. "Why did you tempt fate? Gilia, fly back up if you aren't unconscious!" Epic told his friend. "Agh! My wing broke! Ahh! Jump down here! Help me!" Gilia yelled. "I'd just end up like you! I'll look for another way down, sit tight!" Epic was starting to sweat, and he needed to find his friend quickly to be able to start to calm down. "Epic..." A voice said off in the distance, "where are you Epic? As he walked around, Epic started wondering what was up with this house, for some odd reason he couldn't find a way down. No stars, balconies, or even safe ish hols to fall or fly down. Very suspicious, yet strangely straight forward. "Ok, this is not working, maybe there is a secret passage or something..." Epic said to himself. And with an unprecedented amount of luck, he found the secret passage in five seconds. 5 seconds flat. Just five hole second... "I think they get it." (Stop that!) "Sorry." "Huh, well then, that was convenient. I'm happy, my strangely extreme luck struck again!" Epic said and walked down the stairs, down into the deep dark depths of the spooky house of terror. I'm so alone... Yet all I want is REVENGE. To kill those who betrayed me, to end my suffering, by ending them. But I need HeLp, and I sense a sole in my illusion hous, but another is twisting the house..." "Who were you?" Epic asked out of curiosity... Which was a terrible idea. "Oh? A mortal within my home so close to me? Ohohoh! Let's see how far I can push you before you are MINE." Darkness... But the farther he went in the light slowly faded and he eventually saw a small filly on her stomach, crying. "How... How are you so strong?! No matter how many things I did your mind resisted... What are you, no pony can stop my magic! I'm a alicorn's spirit... Yet a living pony can resist my power?!" the filly said. "I don't know half of what I do before I do it. But I just roll with it... Gilia was in crimson armour, a special request, and her beak was encased in a silver plating, to protect it. They entered the throne room, Epic shivered, and they walked forward, then saluted. "At ease," Celestia spoke, "you are probably wondering why you were sent hear, yes?" They nodded, " then let me inform you, we have a training course that is currently un-tested, this is going to be your challenge, a two pony -or a griffin and pony- team is required to get through, I want you two to complete it. Once done, I want you two on the front lines by next week. Understood?" "Yes ma'am" "Yes ma'am" They said in sinc. "Good." "Permission to speak freely your majesty," a nod, "I think Luna is in a bit of stress, or something, because I feel a dark presence around her." "Understood, I'll talk to her later." ... Epic slammed a pony's head against the ground, Gilia jumps over him and smashed a pony's face, both out cold, another, Epic destroyed a building with the pony body he kicked though it, a pony jabbed at Epic, he smashed the spear, and K.O.'d the pony, he took out his right hand sword, and slashed a pony's legs, disabling them in the process then continued onward, Gilia followed. Dark crystals cut them off, "my, my, Celestia has been busy, hasn't she? A pony of light, and a griffin of Griffinstone, in my domain, ready to DIE for an ignorant princess. You should join me, fight with me, not against me... The griffin will die, if you refuse Epic." said a unicorn, and Epic looked quite surprised, "surprised? You should be, I am King Sombra, and I noticed you shortly after an incident, the house, I saw how you resisted the ghost that created that illusion you have a lot of power. You can learn to use it. I can teach you. Come, join me. Or perish." "I already know how to use it, thank you very much, so I'll have to decline." Epic said before a beam of brown magic hit Sombra, then both his swords started to float, and Gilia notest that the hilts had an odd shape; one two crescents pointing out, the other two crescents pointing towards each other and the blade sticking out the top crescents on each sword. Epic charged, and his swords slashed at Sombra when he neared, Sombra charged an attack and tried to hit Epic. He disappeared and Sombra looked around to see where he disappeared to, only to get hit on the back of the head with two sword slashes, and he tried a crystal attack Epic wasn't there. "I see, you're even more persistent than I thought, but no matter. I SHALL STRIKE YOU DOWN!" he yelled, and placed a round thing with a lightning bolt on it. {He has that?! What spells dose he know?} Epic jumped to the left "LIGHTNING STORM!!!" and with that, the Rune-like thing exploded in a series of lightning bolts, all coming down were Epic just was {dang, he is stronger than he looks... I'll need to use some Runic enchantments...} Epic knew this was only the beginning.

Sombra was going to do something, Epic could feel it, then some of Sombra's forces changed targets for Epic. Epic yelled, "Disruption Clap!" And the ponies all fell to the floor and groaned, no longer under Sombra's control. "HOW did you so that's?!" Sombra yelled, but was replied with two sword slices in the side of his armour, "how did yo--!" SLAM! Sombra got hit by magic from the right, Celestia appeared alongside her sister Luna, Luna launched Sombra high. "We'll handle this from here, you get going!" Celestia said and chased Luna and the injured Sombra. Epic complied, found Gilia and went for the most likely place for the Crystal Heart to be; the castle, they had no idea were it could be, but the hypnotised ponies were making getting there difficult, Epic knocked out hundreds, but they just ceapt coming and coming, and they had no idea were thy were coming from. "Gilia, go to the left, I'll go right, and breakout 'Slice and Dice'!" Gilia smiled and nodded, Epic and Gilia trained with this move the most, a Team Attack, they called it. One goes the opposite direction to the other and they both charge towards each other, if they missed, go for a second pass, and keep going until they hit nose to nose, and hook forlims together and lock them. Then fly in circles and tilt toward foes spinning at ridiculous speeds to K.O. Foes or shred them, ether or. Just make sure Epic's eyes are closed otherwise vomit will join the fray. Seriously. He'll be sick. Everywhere. It's gross. They went for a pass... Miss, again... HIT! They span, faster and faster. Anypony brave or foolish enough jumped at them only to get flung. They became mobile. A dizzying doom went right into the fray. Smashing all in ther way, allies avoided them, remembering times they got in there way befor. Unpleasant. And there foes tried to escape, and failed, getting flung into what little homes that Sombra left for them. The two friends inside the tornado of death called the Slice and Dice, were in perfect sync, flapping wings at the same time, tilting the same direction and looking at each other to stop from getting dizzy. The enemies running, terrified by the spinning duo, and unable to escape. Epic could be heard giggling at the silliness of the attack yet it's effectiveness in battle, Gilia was chucking too. "HEY GILIA! WHEN SHOULD WE STOP?!" "I DON'T KNOW, JUST KEEP SPINNING!" Gilia replied having too much fun completely demolishing ther opposition. "I THINK I'M GOING TO HERL!" Epic stopped the spinning instantly and Gilia didn't notice until everything was still, Epic had a concerned look on his face. "Thanks, I'm fine, let's keep kicking there ass!" "No, you go back to base, I'll keep it covered here until you come back." Epic commanded. Gilia complied after a second, Epic usually wasn't this serious, so she knew that it was a bad idea to talk, and went back to base to calm her stomach. With the princess Sombra took a beating from Epic Celestia could tell, slash marks and bruises all over him, but for some reason Epic didn't break Sombra's flesh past just grazing it. She nor her sister knew why. But used this to there advantage striking the places where Epic struck, she had to admit they don't call him Destroyer for nothing, Sombra looked half dead. And Celestia saw what his and Gilia's Special Team Attack was like; let's just say they didn't have five ponies that were meant to join them because they were still in the medical wing of the castle, in a full body cast. "Up go higher! Stay off the ground!" Epic was flying over the dark void that was consuming everything in it's path. "Don't touch it or it will pull you in too! It's the only choice you have!" "What about civilians?!" "If there smart they'll follow, just head AWAY from the ground, it can't get you if you don't touch it!" Epic had seen this before, the spell was a powerful trap spell, thus ment that it was vital not to tread on it. Darkened Void, that was the spell. Uses dark magic, and only the caster can revert the effects without wanting for the spell's magic ran out. Sombra, he knew that spell. A King of Darkness. Not a true King, just a stolen title now. "Sir, how do we expect to escape?!" A golden armoured soldier asked. "It only effects what it touches, so to escape, we JUMP over it!" Epic replyed. The ponies ceapt going, then jumped... OVER! They made it, the Empire was unobtainable now, but they escaped, that's what matters. Epic searched for Sombra, {he must have escaped that, if I can, I'll get him to bring it all back!} Celestia and Luna "Sombra, what have you done?!" Celestia was furious, Sombra used a spell that looked to destroy the Empire, "answer me!" "Oh, where would be the fun in that? I have secured my victory, you CAN'T win!" Sombra was loving what he did. He won, but Celestia and her sister were still in his way, he couldn't have that. "Sombra, give up. You can't win, even if you try that spell again." Luna stated. He attacked, Luna just avoided the attack, and sent a blast of magic at him. He blocked it, and returned fire, Celestia struck back, defending her sister, and Luna unleashed a flurry of magic strikes, some hitting others missing or getting blocked. Sombra was strong, yes, but he was weakened from his fight with Epic, and then it hit him {Epic planned this! Oh... That sneaky underhanded devil! I hate him! ... What's a 'hand'?} BANG! Luna struck her target with a volley of strong attacks, Sombra knew he was done for, {so close! Only to be beaten by some princesses and that pony, no. Not a pony, whatever he is, he is no pony. But I WILL NOT LOOSE! NOT NOW NOT EVER! I SHALL RETURN!} "Hehehe... I can't loose, not while you stand in my way... Hehehe AHAHAHAHAHA!!!" "All move baddies want there lines back!" An annoyed voice said. Sombra didn't know what happened next, all he knew was he was pinned down by Epic. "Epic Destroyer Pony, how nice of you to drop in." "I know what you did, bring it back!" Sombra shook his head. "Dang. I thought you would learn. Princesses, NOW!" Epic jumped back, and the princesses blasted Sombra, turning him into shadows. He was cast away sealed in the ice for 1,000 years. But that's not the end for our heroes, this is just the beginning, the beginning of the end. The Castle of the Two Sisters "Epic, how do you feel?" Luna ask the newly knighted pony. "Bored all things considered." "'Tis a time of celebration! Why sit in a corner? You can try sway some mares, and other things that you males do. Why waste time?" "Because, even if I can do something doesn't mean I should, I saved everyone, yes. But that spell, it will likely hold for at least one thousand years. If I can't stop it, what can the next 'hero' do? Better? Worse? I was tasked with something and I failed. Yet this is the thanks I get for doing something anypony with a heart or sole would do? I feel I don't deserve it. Huh... I have very strong opinions. Heh, that's why I did what I did. Sombra was set in his ways, me in my ways as well. A being of light, and darkness clash, the one that'll bring balance will always win. Even if darkness is stronger, light always finds a way. The Pony of Light, has a ring to it, for me at least. Nightmares are different, they're your mind tormenting you for your actions. Epic was having a nightmare. Luna was mortified by what she saw in the nightmare. Epic and Gilia were in a spooky manner, and had a murderer after them. On a stormy night with thunderbolts and lightning. And that was the setting. Everywhere was decayed and old, blood stains on the walls, and the words... BLOOD written words of danger and death. {What is wrong with you Epic?} everything pointed to a mass killing. Good thing it's just a dream, or you'd have nightmares... Oh wait... "Gotta get out of here, gotta run!" Epic was in a state of panic, running everywhere not looking at the walls and positively terrified. "EPIC! SNAP OUT OF IT!" Luna yelled, Epic saw her and let out a breath of relief. "Ha, it's just a bad dream! Haha... He... Oh... Um that's not good." "Why?" "Me and Gilia were doing something before we fell asleep... And I move about in my sleep, so yeah..." "You kicked her off the bead." "Yeah." "What's she gonna do with you?" "Hit me, most probably." "And you know this how?" "I felt pain." "Oh." "Yes, most ponies think that they need to make everyday count and not miss anything, but sometimes you need to slow down and enjoy what life gives you. I can draw, and well. I can make a story for that picture in seconds, and then more, but the picture needs time, time is the only thing holding everyone, everything, back. If we had time we use it. But we can't reclaim it. That's the hard truth. Do what you want, because there may not be a tomorrow for you. Do what you desire, for ifs and buts can only get you so far. "That spell is a part of a powerful spell branch called Runeic Spells, the difference from a rune is that it can be used by anything, pony, griffin, dragon you name it, they can use it. Like normal magic, this magical line has Light magic, Dark magic, Love, ect. ect. The biggest difference though is you HAVE to complete the drawing to cast the spell, you don't have to cast it straight away, and you can create lingering ones, for instance the pegesis only birth spell on my tribe. That is Runeic, only the one that has it on them can nullify it's effect. You can't brake these spells without the requirements met. E.G. Minion, the immortality spell, to break it, you have to kill the caster, there's a loophole, cast it on yourself and you can't die because you are the caster. Darkened Void is a trap spell, seals the target in a black void until A. The magic in it runs out. Or B. The caster takes his or her magic out. That's what Sombra used, Darkened Void. There are counter spells, but, they will fail if not cast while Darkened Void is active, and by that I mean, eating matter to store in a timeless void for later." "And other Runeic spells are...?" "Judgement spells, bothe Light and Dark, levitation, I put that spell on myself, instant death, Light and Dark, and resurrection, Light and Dark. Necromancy is included, but banned because it makes the caster crazy." "What are judgment spells?" Celestia and Luna can't stop me! Not without Runeic spells! AHAHAHAHAHA!" You know that feeling when you feel like something bad is going to happen? Yeah, Epic's got that now. He looked to the mountains, something was up. "Gilia, there's a bad vibe coming from the mountains." "Don't be paranoid, nothing is going to happen!" It was him Drakonia Hexonganla, The Pony of Shadows. "Stop Epic..." Epic looked into the eyes of the ponies surrounding them. They had a far off look in there eyes. They were hypnotised. Gilia suddenly hit one, they tried to kill him. "Gilia, super team attack." Gilia took flight, and circled the ponies from above, and Epic found himself in the centre. Gilia dived. Epic spread his wings, and shot forwards, Epic and Gilia met, and kicked away, sending a blast of air, knocking back the enemies nearby, then drove those still in the air into one another, knocking them out, twice more, and the battle was won. They charged to the plaza, and knocking down any that got in there way. "Epic, you know that you can't possibly win, with a resolve like yours. Just let me win. I'll take over the world, and you can live. How's that?" "I do not care about your plans for world domination. I don't care what you do within your own time. Epic clapped his wings that were somehow covered in light. All the ponies broke free of the mind control, "it can't be!" Epic struck again, destroying his foes forelegs. "Grrrr..." A primal growl escaped his lips, he flew up and his foe followed, Epic made slashes in the wind, his target dodged, his enemy made a slash he dodged, two mountains fell because of Epic, and one fell because of Drakonia. They ceap clashing, then the sky shattered from morning blue to the night sky. Epic was winning, but Drakonia was not going let it end like this they ceapt flying up until Drakonia, suddenly hit Epic. Epic's eyes became pinpricks, he then slammed Drakonia, in to a house at the same time a head appeared on the moon. ... ... ... ... Epic emerged, victorious but with a price. He walked over to Gilia's lifeless corps, and picked her up, ponies moved out of his way as he walked to the church. There was a coffin prepared, he knew they were always fast with this. He placed her in took out a enchanted feather -he enchanted it- and put it with a string around his neck. She was hit with a dark instent death spell. No way to resurrect her. They put her name bate of burth and deat on a tome stone, and buried her. "Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid... I could have saved her... I could have... I could have... No..." He wept.

"Why? Why must the sun shine so brightly?!" The lump said, then it moved and sat up to show a brown pony with a messy green and light brown mane. "Epic, get down hear! Now!" Said a female voice, that sounded like it came from below the bed. "In a second Mum!" Epic replayed. "Epic Pony, get down here right now or no food for a week!" Epic's Mum called. Epic knew that if his mother said his full name it was serious and got out of bed. Epic was a layback kind of guy and what he looked like reflected that, not bothered by the fact that his mane was a mess, he headed downstairs. His cutiemark was a script under a drawing of a dragon's head that was incomplete and had a quill still drawing it. Epic knew never to keep his mom waiting because she was really strict. "The leader of the tribe just visited and wants to see you" his mother said wile flipping pancakes. Epic loved pancakes especially when made by his mom. "Thanks for the pancakes mum," he said. His mum was a pegasus pony with pink fur and red eye, and a dark brown and green mane. Epic's eyes were brown and he was a pegasus pony too. (Sorry for the slow discreption!) "I hope you like them son, but I want to talk to you about the leader... He can be a little bit of a monster at first but out for all of us here in the tribe," she said, putting the pancakes on the table. (Oops I forgot to tell you about the kitchen!) The kitchen was a large one and most of the sides were, at the time, overflowing with kitchen utensils and the sink wasn't doing much better ether. "I know I had to learn about it for a hole week, called 'worship you're leader week' I don't have ANY idea why!" Epic stated in a loud voice. "Epic no shouting at the dinner table." She scolded him. Then he thought {what do they think that is going to do?} "Oi! Get back to work!" A strang-looking pony with a beak and claws shouted, looking right at him, "I said get to it!" "Me?" Epic asked. "Who else? Yes you!" The bird-pony thing stated bluntly. "I'm not from around here, ma'm," Epic nurvesly replied. "Oh really? Then what am I?" She said sarcastically. "Um... I don't know..." He said backing away from the somehow terrifying, though slightly smaller, mare. Mare? Mare. "Really? Rear half lion, front half falcon? Don't know what that is?" She said in a monotone manner. "N-nope, why...?" Epic was really scared at this point. "I'm a griffin. You know a predator? Something that you should listen to. But that does explain why you don't know why I've never seen you before," she started some kind of rant that Epic tuned most of out, "my name is Gilia, Gilia Galia, Gi-l-ia Ga-l-ia, just so you don't get my name wrong." "I'm Epic Pony," Epic introduced himself. "Hmmm... Odd name, where are you from?" Gilia asked only to be pointed there, "uh, are you sure you came from that place?" "All I know is that I came from the mountains," he said not knowing what danger lay ahead, "and those are the only mountains I can see!' "Those are the Disscordeion Mountains, or as many call it, The Cursed Valley of Darkness," She said, "and anyone who comes out are deemed threats to the population." "I'm no threat! I'm just a pony passing though!" He hoped that she would go easy on him. "I'm not going to risk innocent civilians, so come with us." Gilia demanded. Somehow he was shrouded by armoured pony on all sides, "I AM UNTAMEABLE!!!" He yelled and started to scape though the sky, but the griffin followed. "Surrender now!" "NO!" Epic struck her face with a strong buck of his back hooves, she tried to scratch him but he doged the attack and struck again this time a straight up strike with his wing, in a panic he failed to realise is mistake then unicorns started opening fire on the guy, using the adrenaline pumping through his body, he doged the attack expertly Gilia appeared in front of him and he rammed her to the side, she was getting really angry, and tried rawing, he yeped and sped up, she groaned and went on the pusite. Gilia though it was about to end when Epic dived straight at the ground but he did a strange yet amazing stunt, he twisted his body right and did a 180 spin AT THE SAME TIME. Gilia was distracted enough for her to crash right into the ground. "I yeled, I yeled." She said when Epic landed next to her. Epic tooc some time to examine her. Brown all over with red eyes, "to the victor the spoiles..." "What do you mean?" Epic asked confused. "You came to take over, yes?" She stated in a defeated tone.
