The Most Annoying Infestation
Skritch-Skritch.
Rainbow Dash perked up her ears at the scratching emanating from her kitchen. She looked around for a moment, then shook her head.
Skritch-Skritch.
Placing down her book, she slowly shifted off of her couch, creeping through her living room past several pieces of furniture and into the eating area. She kept as silent as possible, her ears perked.
Skritch-Skritch.
There it was! It was in the cupboard. Weird that there was an animal up here - not only was this a cloudhouse, Twilight had hit this house with her special pet control spell.
Skritch-Skritch.
She walked forwards softly and threw the door open.
A pair of glowing eyes stared back at her.

Rainbow Dash plopped the bat pony colt onto the doorway to his house before knocking the door. A bat pony opened the door and looked up and down at the stairwell's two occupants.
"Hi! I do believe he is yours. Also, he deserves a bat treat. Bye!"
Mr. Fangling was left watching as his son waved at a rainbow streak.

The Adventures of Batsy Fluffentuft the Magnificent
Batsy Fluffentuft the Magnificent grinned as she used her awesome bat pony skills to push herself through the tiny porthole in the bathroom wall after coating her flanks with lard to help herself push through.
With her puppet in place on her bed, no one should suspect a thing!

Batsy sniffed along the edge of the display case, trying to decide which treat to steal. It was then when a head poked its way over the counter. "Hello? How can I help you?"
Batsy looked up. "Yep! Can I get a purple bar?"
The stallion nodded. "Sure." He reached into the display case, pulled out the treat, and pushed it over at her.
She took it and bit into it. "Thanks!" She skipped out of the store, deliberately ignoring the shouting for her to come back.

She slipped back inside and replaced her puppet. As she thought, no one had suspected a thing!

Fluttershy stared at the giant hairy spider that had just pressed up against her and raised an eyebrow. The fuzzy creature tried to get closer, but she jumped to the side. "Nope. Not happening."
She pushed it back into its corner and traveled out to go find it some food. Maybe it was just hungry.

Applejack laughed as the dust peeled up behind her, her earth pony stamina having left her aggressors in the dust as she fled back to farmhouse through multiple mud puddles, the dirt splashing back over her hooves. Keeping her pinned back to her head, she threw the barn door open and hid in a pile of hay.
There was absolutely no way she was taking a bath!

Rarity smiled. "Well, at least I managed to get her to smell better."
Rainbow looked over at her. "What did you do?"
"Twilight taught me a permanent coat freshening spell."

There was a knock on Rarity's door. Rainbow's voice echoed from behind it. “Come on, Rarity, we know you're in there – I can see the lights!”
Rarity glanced around her room and lit her horn, shoving all of the bits and pieces she had out into her closets and drawers before wiping her coat down with a quick spell. Shaking herself, she stepped over to the door and opened it. "Yes?"
"The delegation's banner got torn, we need you to fix it."
Rarity nodded and took the material into her hoof. "It'll be right out."

I stared down at the pink fuzzy face on my finger.
"What." It wasn't even a question - I was just that dumbfounded.
"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie!"
I blinked at it - her? - it.
"What's your name?" It waved back and forth, independent of my own muscle movements. "Do you like parties?"
There was a sudden shouting from... somewhere? "Pinkie! Get back here! You aren't supposed to cross universal boundaries like that!"
"But Twilight-"
"Come on!"
There was a slight grumbling, and she shimmered away. I flexed my pinkie finger in relief.
I was still left with one statement. "What."

The Unfortunate Stabbing of Nurse Redheart
Nurse Redheart grinned at her page of successful visits for the day. She had even released several patients today.
After taking five shifts in a row, however, she was getting slightly tired. She left work with a smile on her face in the streetlights.

Nurse Redheart would have been slammed against the alley wall, but she gripped her attacker and lit her horn, dodging the knife blade. She had him in a pin and pressed up against the building a few seconds later.
"What are you doing?"
"I... I just-"
She snorted. "Save it."
She took the unfortunate stallion to the police station.

Shining Armor stepped into the first line of LineCon®, the registration line, with a smile. "This is so fun, Twiley!"
Twilight smiled, glad that her brother was enjoying himself. "I know! I can't wait to go through this one again, and we haven't even made it through once!"
They slowly walked forwards as the line moved past the registration booth and into the convention.

Shining Armor lay back in his bed, his horn lit and reading a book. Learning a long distance self illusion spell was difficult, but totally worth it.

Fluttershy blinked at the strange mare on the other side of her door. "Hello?"
"I am the new primary code enforcement officer for the Ponyville and Lower Canterlot Hills District, under authority of Ponyville Code Enforcement. My identification number is three five eight zero three five eight zero zero zero nine." She peered over Fluttershy's shoulder and into the room behind her before coming back to a normal position. "You are currently in violation of zoning law 35c-subsection 4, 5, and 6, 65, and 12b."
Fluttershy tilted her head. "And those would be?"
The mare droned on in a monotone. "This residence currently has an animal density of roughly two hundred and fourty five animals per square meter. Due to the municiple code, you must reduce your animal density to six animals per square meter."
"Are you suggesting that I let my animal friends starve? " Fluttershy pushed her muzzle forwards.
"No. You may find appropriate homes for all animals in the area within the next three business days."
Fluttershy's wings flared up for a moment. "You are not going to make my animal friends leave!"
