Chapters Canterlot Castle Equestria
Late one evening the crystal mirror starts to glow. Sunset Shimmer walked out of the mirror as it rippled like water. Her hooves clop against the marble floor. Feeling a little dizzy from the transport she walked away from the mirror and turned around.
“Come on Adagio, I don’t have all day,” she said and sat down.
The mirror glowed as another figure stepped out of the mirror and fell forward with a flop.
Adagio Dazzling pushed up on her front hooves and tried to stand up but noticed something was wrong.
“I should have known this would happen,” the yellow Siren said and dragged herself forward feeling like an earth seal without water. She said looking back at her large flipper.
“Well change form already, so we can get going,” Sunset said sounding impatient.
Adagio closed her eyes concentrating as her large tail slapped against the floor. “It’s not working,” she said in frustration and touched her chest with her right hoof, realizing what the problem was.
“What’s the holdup?” Sunset said and sat up.
“The problem is, I can’t change because I am missing the gem that you and your friends busted,” Adagio said with a snarl showing her sharp teeth.
“Wonderful,” Sunset said, rolling her eyes.
*****
“This is embarrassing,” Adagio complained, her front hooves wrapped around Sunset neck as her body laid across her back and her large flipper touched the castle floor as it slid along the tiles.
Some of the royal guards passing by and started mumbled to themselves watching the strange scene in front of them.
“We better get out of here before there is a misunderstanding,” Sunset said, moving faster.
“Couldn’t you ask your mother for help?” Adagio asked, looking around trying to avoid the stares.
“Ssshh, let’s keep that between us,” Sunset said, turning around to look at Adagio putting a hoof to her lips. Then continued to talk. “Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are both on a diplomatic mission, in other words there not here,” she said, moving again.
"Halt right there," one guard said walking forward in front of them.
"Sorry, I should have called ahead," Sunset said as her horn glows as she used her magic to remove a parchment from her satchel and showed the guard.
The guard looked over the paperwork and noticing both Celestia and Luna seals stamped on it.
"Sunset Shimmer yes we know you have a full pardon from Princess Celestia but this creature does not," he said and pointed to Adagio who frowned back.
"Adagio Dazzle is a citizen of Equestria and as a citizen, she has the right to go home, I will take full responsibility for her," Sunset said, looking at the guard in the eyes not backing down.
"Very well, I will inform the Princess when she returns, make sure that the Siren does not upset the locals or else," the guard said stepping aside.
Sunset walked away trying to avoid running anyone else.
Adagio smacking her lips feeling dehydrated. “Sunset, I need some water soon or I will dry out,” she said in a weak voice.
“Alright let me get you to the bottom of the waterfall,” Sunset said, quickly headed towards the exit.
“Waterfall?” Adagio said and her ears perked up.
*****
“Adagio?” Sunset called out looking at plunge pool near the base of the waterfall. She was not able to see anything under the water.
There was a large splash and Adagio emerged with a mouth full of live fish still wiggling. She chomped down on the fish swallowing them whole.
“Eeewww,” Sunset said, sounding disgusted and tried not to watch.
“Mmm, that hit the spot,” Adagio said, letting out a burp and covered her lips with a hoof.
“Time to go if you want to catch the train,” Sunset said and started walking as Adagio swam nearby.
“There is no way, I will be able to ride the pony express like this,” Adagio said, keeping her head low in the water to avoid being spotted as some locals walked over the drawbridge.
“It’s a long way by hoof, but if you swim south you will eventually end up in ponyville,” Sunset said, looking at the map that she had in her satchel.
“I was planning on heading south anyways,” Adagio said as her head disappeared underwater and a large yellow, orange flipper splashed propelling her forward under the bridge.
“Adagio there’s another waterfall ahead!” Sunset yelled out as she watched the outline of Adagio’s body going over the edge of the falls.
“@#%$!” Adagio yelled out as she went over.
Sunset rolled her eyes and then started walking to the train station.

Days later in Ponyville
Diamond Tiara, Babs Seed, and Silver Spoon are walking along the river on the way to the park.
“Did you hear the rumors?” Silver said as she looked at them.
“About the Mokele-Mare monster?” Babs said, looking at the water.
“That’s just a story some pony a made up to scare the commoners,” Diamond said, kicking a pebble into the water with her hoof and then rubbed her chin thinking. “But if it is true, it would make a fantastic story for the Foal Free Press,” She turned and looked at Silver. “We need a picture of it or not one is going to believe it,” She said.
“I’ll get my camera,” Silver said and headed back into Ponyville.
“Babs you and me are going to start an investigating,” Diamond said and started walking.
“Awww, I want to play hoofball,” Babs complained as she followed her.
Adagio slowly surfaced and rubbed the small lump on her head and growled before disappearing under the water. There a small splash as a pebble was tossed out of the water and hit Diamond in the rear and bounced off her behind.
“Aaaugh what threw that?!” Diamond said, jumping up and reached over to rub her rear looking around.
“Maybe the Mokele-mare?” Babs said with a snicker as Diamond gave her an angry look and continued to walk.
*****
Adagio considered asking for directions but everypony she tried to ask so far ran away screaming like they saw a monster. So she kept swimming down the river until she ran into a big problem called Hoofer Dam. Not able to get past it, she swam back to ponyville frustrated.
“Hey, guys wait up," yelled a young male earth pony with light blue fur, light brown tail and mane over his head. The only thing that really sets him apart from the others is that he is a paraplegic. His front hooves worked just fine but for as long as he could remember his rear hooves didn’t. A kind pony built him a set of wheels so he could tuck his small rear legs in and get around like any other pony.
“Go home Wheels you will just slow us down,” a grey pegasus pony said, walking with his friends.
“My name is Willy Neigh,” he said, pulling himself forward with his front hooves.
“Willy or Wheels it’s all the same to me,” the grey pegasus said, walking faster.
“Let’s hurry guys,” a brown unicorn pony with white patches in his fur said and ran ahead.
They galloped away leaving Willy in a cloud of dust. He stomped his front hoofs in frustration.
“Wait for me!” he yelled out and starting running after them as fast as his front hoofs could go. With his wheels bouncing over the rocks and hoof imprints in the dirt.
By the time he caught up the boys were already playing hoofball in an open field near the Southwestern Windmill. Catching his breath he pushed on a lever which locked the break on his wheels and then watched the game.
Adagio swam into a larger body of water and noticed a windmill from a distance. She could hear the sound of colts playing nearby. I better stay out of sight, for now, don’t want a mob of angry ponies with pitchforks and torches chasing me away. She thought and found a spot near the shoreline with tall grass and pushed up with her front hooves to watch. Adagio noticed Willy, his wheels made him stand out from the others.
“Can I play?” Willy said in a loud voice waving his hoof.
“Hmm, what do you think guys?” the unicorn asked as using his magic to spin the ball in the air.
“Really what is he going to do, run us over,” the pegasus said with a laugh and used his head to knock the ball out of the air.
They ignored Willy and continued played by themselves. Using both their front and back hoofs to kick the ball around as one of them tried to protect the goal line.
Willy lowered his head looking at the ground with a sigh. A few minutes later there was a loud thump and the ball flew over Willy’s head and landed in the water with a splash. He unlocked his wheels and turned around and saw the ball bobbing in the water as it started to float away.
“Wonderful now what are we going to do?” one pony asked, looking at the water.
“It is out of range of my magic,” the unicorn said and then looked back at the pegasus. “Why don’t you fly out there and kick it back,” he suggested.
“What if my wing cramps up, you know I can’t swim,” he said, shaking his head and then looked at Willy. “Hey wheels if you can get that ball for us, we will let you play,” the pegasus said with a smirk. The other boys looked at him with disapproval shaking their heads no.
“Really? Ok, I will get it,” Willy said with determination and looked around for something he could use.
Adagio pushed herself back into the water and disappeared without making a sound.
He spotted a fallen tree branch nearby and rolled up. Reaching down Willy grabbed the branch with his teeth and pulled as his front hooves pushed back. The boys watch as he tried to grab the ball using the large branch. But Willy was only succeeding in pushing it further away.
“Come on guys this is a waste of time,” the pegasus said looking away and started walking.
“Come here you stupid ball,” Willy mumbled with his mouth full, still trying to grab the ball or knock it to shore. His wheels were getting dangerously close to the shoreline as his front hooves balanced on some rocks.
The ball then started to bob up and down on its own and moved closer to Willy. There was a flash of a yellow flipper that smacked the ball into shore and to rolled to a stop next to Willy. He looked down at the ball and then up, noticing the yellow, orange flipper disappearing into the water with a ripple.
“Hey guys, I got the ball can I play now?” Willy said and kicked the ball with his front hoof and wheeled himself forward.
“For real?” the pegasus said looking back with his jaw open as the ball rolled to a stop on his front hooves.
Adagio pulled herself back onto shore and kept hidden watching. The boys looked at each other but then decided to let Willy play. This was the best day every for Willy, he may not be as fast or as strong as the others but that didn’t matter because today he felt like one of the guys.
*****
“Are you coming Wheels?” the pegasus asked looking behind him as he followed his friends. “It’s going to be dark soon,” He said, looking at the sun.
“In a few minutes, you go on ahead,” Willy said with a smile and waved his right hoof.
He watched as they walked out of sight and then turned around looking at the tall grass.
“Thank you.” he said in a loud voice.
Adagio was surprised thinking that she was fully hidden from view. “You better get going you don’t want to lose track of your friends,” she said and slipped back into the water.
“My name is Willy Neigh, What is your name?” he asked, only able to see the outline of a yellow form as it disappeared into the water.
“Adagio Dazzle,” she said and then completely submerged and swam away.
“Adagio Dazzle,” Willy repeated to himself and turned around then walked forward pulling his wheels alone with a smile on his face.
Author's Note
So begins another story.
I am going to try and keep this one short and sweet.
Some simple facts so far.
The crystal mirror is still in Canterlot Castle.
Sunset mother is Celestia but she has decided to keep it a secret to avoid unwanted attention.
Canterlot Hospital in the human world a week ago.
Adagio walked to a room and looked at the door which was marked 312. Taking a deep breath she pushed the door opened. The sound of heart monitor beeping filled the room as she approached the bed. She wanted to say something but noticed that a nurse was checking the instruments and then changed empty bag on the IV Stand with a new one. The nurse looked over at Adagio and grabbed her notepad and an empty drip bag. She walked over to her and gave a reassuring smile.
“He is awake now,” the nurse said and then left the room.
Adagio cleared her throat and walked over to the bed trying to smile. “Good morning,” she said and leaned forward to kiss him.
A young man laid in bed with an oxygen tube in his nose. His head is bald and his face lacks any visible facial hair. He looked at Adagio and smiled as he absently rubbed his chin and noticed the lack of stubble.
“Hi, Adagio dear nice to see you,” Kevin Clydesdale said with a smile and push on a button to raise the back of his bed.
“I wanted to see how you are doing today.” Adagio said returning the smile and gently grab his left hand.
“Better than yesterday,” he said, noticed the bags under Adagio eyes. Kevin reached up to touch her face. “Have you been getting sleep?” he asked and she shook her head.
“I’ll sleep later when I get back home,” she answered and pulled up a wooden chair to sit next to him.
You didn’t have to stay the night here,” he said, leaning back against the pillow.
Adagio looked him. “It’s my choice that I am here,” she said, crossing her arms.
“Sorry,” Kevin said and looked out the window noticing the blue sky.
“Want to go outside?” Adagio asked and stood up.
“Sure a nice jog around the hospital will do me some good,” he said, with a smirk.
“I’ll get a nurse,” she said and walked out of the room.
A few minutes later Adagio returned with a wheelchair and a male nurse.
*****
Kevin was sitting in a wheelchair, wearing a hospital gown, squinted as his eyes slowly adjusted to the daylight. Adagio reached into her purse and pulled out a pair of sunglass which she gave to him. She then starting pushing the wheelchair and walked around the grounds outside the hospital.
“How is Sonata and Aria doing?” Kevin asked, leaning back in his chair.
“There doing fine, still going to college. By the way, Aira has taken over your project downstairs, she is determined to finish what you started.” Adagio said with a smile thinking about it.
“I hope I can see it someday, what about Sonata, what has she been up to?” he said, looking over at robin hopping on the grass nearby looking for a worm.
“She got a job at a jewelry store,” she said, proudly.
“Sonata, always loved jewelry, and what have you been up to?” Kevin asked, but Adagio didn’t answer right away.
“I have been thinking about going back to Equestria again,” Adagio said, breaking the silence.
“Didn’t you say that there was nothing to go back to,” Kevin said, looking a bit silly wearing Adagio’s sunglasses with a yellow frame.
“That was before you started to get sick.” she said, in a soft voice as she kept walking.
“Adagio if you want to go back to your world that’s fine with me. I am not going to get any better here, I don’t want to hold you back from living your life,” he said, watching as some children were playing nearby as a grandparent watched from her wheelchair.
“The reason I want to go, Kevin, is for you. Aira and Sonata reminded me that there is a rare sea plant that only grows in my world. It has been known to cure almost any illness,” Adagio said, as her voice cracked.
“It’s called cancer and it’s as bad as you can get in this world. I have already had radiation and chemotherapy,” Kevin said, grabbing the wheels and turned his chair around to look at Adagio. “There is no magic cure or vaccine for it,” he said, looking up a noticed Adagio was crying but also looked angry at him.
“You may have given up on yourself Kevin but I have not,” Adagio said, leaning forward and put her hands on his legs. “I’m going back to Equestria and I will find that plant and bring it back, so you better be here when I return,” she said and removed the sunglasses from his face.
“Alright, no point in arguing with a Siren,” he said, looking in her eyes,
“Damn right,” she said and kissed him. They then continued their walk.
Ponyville Equestria
Adagio didn’t sleep well last night. The waters in ponyville are colder than in the southern ocean. She ended swimming upstream near the park where the water was shallower and warmer. Finding a bit of land she climbed up to catch some of the morning sun rays.
“Oh, that’s better,” she said talking to herself and looked over at a bridge that has a large M engraved in it. After a few minutes of laying in the sun, her eyes were getting heavy as she was falling asleep. Minutes past and then there was the sound of hooves approaching.
“Good morning Adagio,” Sunset said, looking down at her.
“Aaahh,” Adagio yelled, opening her eyes in surprise her as fins poked outward revealing spikes on the tips of the spines.
Sunset flinched back at the sight of her spikes. “Careful there, I don’t want you to accidentally hurt somepony and by that I mean myself,” she said, stepping back.
“Rule 1, don’t sneak up on a Siren, especially when they are sleeping,” Adagio said with a growl feeling her heart beating fast, then relaxed, her fins folded back as she calmed down.
“Yes, I will remember that now", "Adagio, we have a big problem: some pony or creature has been snatching up filly & colts by the water", "You wouldn't by chance know anything about that?” Sunset asked, looking serious.
“Hey, now I haven’t touched any pony since I got here. Siren’s don’t eat ponies, well not anymore, not since the dark times,” Adagio said feeling uneasy about this conversation and slipped back into the water.
“I haven’t told the mayor yet that you are around, try to keep out of sight until I find Twilight,” Sunset said and noticed that some ponies were approaching so she walked away.
“I didn’t even want to come here,” Adagio said and disappeared under the water to avoid being seen.
Silver yawned as she walked over the bridge and spotted a yellow fin and a flipper. Panicking she fumbled with the camera and snapped a picture just as the flipper disappeared.
“I got it!” she yelled out in triumph and then noticed that she forgot to remove the lens protector. "Oh shoot," she said, popping the cap off with her hoof.
"What happened?" Diamond said, running up to meet her on the bridge.
"The, the Mokele-Mare I saw it!" Silver said, pointing to the water. "It was right there, yellow flipper and fins, it must be huge," she said, rearing up spreading out her fronts hooves.
"Did you get a picture?" Diamond asked, looking at the camera.
"Umm, I forgot the lens cap was on sorry..." Silver said looking embarrassed.
"You had one job and you forgot the cap, maybe Babs should be the one holding the camera." she said, sounding frustrated.
"Diamond where is Babs?" Silver asked, looked around.
"I don't know, maybe hanging out with that loser Applebloom." Diamond said and started walking. "Come on let's ask the animal expert if she knows what you saw," she said and motioned Silver to follow her.
Adagio caught some fish as she swam down a stream and took her time chewing thinking about what Sunset said. A creature by the water or in the water has been ponynaping youngn's, For what reason? I hope it's not for dinner, She spat out an uneaten fish tail. Why should I care, I got my own problems to deal with, like how am I going to get past the dam, She thought, finding a fork in the river and surfaced poking her head out to see that it headed into the forest. Curiosity got the better of her and with a push from her tail, she swam towards the Everfree forest.
*****
Sunset headed towards Twilight's castle. Which she was told is now called The Castle of Friendship. Looking up the castle looked like it grew right from a tree made of crystal. Twilight talked about it for hours in the human world, but this was the first time she saw in person. Walking up to the front entrance she knocked on the door which echoed back from the inside.
"Hello!, Twilight are you home?" Sunset called out.
"Twilight is not here," a voice from inside said.
"Where is she?" Sunset asked and push the door open.
"She is missing," Rainbow Dash said approached the door looking tired, "and who are you?" she asked not recognizing who it was.
"Sunset Shimmer remember," she said, pushing her way into the castle.
"Oh, right it's you, are you here to steal something again?," Rainbow said with a scarcest tone stepping back.
"What no... seriously I am looking for Twilight," she said, looking around.
"Rainbow is that any way to treat Twilight's friend," Applejack said as she walked up recognizing Sunset by her cutie mark. "Sorry about that, Rainbow has been up all night searching from the air for Twilight and Spike," she said as Rainbow yawned and walked away.
"Is Twilight back?" Pinkie Pie said as she appeared suddenly and started stringing up large welcome back ribbons on the walls with balloons at high speed.
"False alarm Pinkie," Rarity said and pulled on the ribbon causing it to fall to the ground.
"Awww," Pinkie said, deflating like a balloon and landed near Sunset who was looking at her closely.
"Pinkie Pie," Sunset said with a smile and moved forward to hug her but Pinkie stepped back she cleared her throat. "Sorry, you remind me of someone, what happened to Twilight?" she asked seriously.
"I don't know all the details. But it started over a week ago when Spike went missing. Twilight went looking for him and never came back," Applejack said, looking worried.
"I have looked everywhere in Ponyville, she must be in the Everyfree Forest, I can't see past the trees from the air," Rainbow said, with another yawn.
"I am afraid she is correct that is the only place we have not looked," Rarity said, shivering remembering the last few times she was there.
"Did you also know that children have gone missing?" Sunset spoke up and they looked at her and nodded.
"Fluttershy is looking for tracks and clues by the river," Pinkie said, sounding serious for a moment.
"Rainbow, for now, you should stay here and rest, just in case Twilight or Spike returns. We need to organize a search party and go into the forest," Sunset said, looking at them.
"Whoa, stop right there, who made you the leader, you are not Twilight, we don't have to listen to you," Rainbow said, looking angry at her.
"Sorry..." Sunset apologized, realizing again these are not her friends from earth. She walked to the exit. "You are right, I am not a leader or your friend, I will search on my own," She said.
"Wait!" Pinkie called out and ran in front of Sunset blocking her."Any friend of Twilight is my friend and like any friend we help each other, don't listen to Rainbow she is just being mean," she said, rearing up crossing her hoofs and blew a raspberry at Rainbow.
"She may not be an element but she has a point, we need all the help we can help we can get, to find Twilight and all the other missing ponies," Applejack said and walked up to Sunset.
"I agree with Pinky and Applejack," Rarity said looking at Rainbow as she joined them.
"Fine I will stay here and wait!" Rainbow said crossing her hooves. "But if anything happens I am holding you responsible," she said pointing her hoof at Sunset.
*****
As Adagio started to enter the Everyfree Forest she could feel air temperature drop and also the water temperature change. Her fins extended outward defensively with spikes as she started to feel uneasy. After a few more minutes of swimming, there was a loud crackle as a tree was snapped from it trunk and pushed aside like a twig. The sound of heavy footsteps flatting in the foliage as it walking nearby on the left.
"Help me!" a voice cried out and Adagio saw something large walking holding a cage in its large claws. In the cage was a young earth pony with light brown fur with a red mane and matching tail. She saw a cutie mark that looked like scissors.
"STOP!" Adagio yelled out which caused the creature to turn around. Two the eyes looked at her yellow with black slit pupils like a lizard.
"Siren," said in a deep rumbling male voice from the creature. "You're a long way from home," said the creature, as it moved closer to the water into view. Adagio gasped looking up at a full-size green dragon.
"So are you dragon," Adagio said, looking at the pony who was shivering curled up in a ball and then looked up at him. "Where are you taking this child?" she asked showing her teeth in a snarl.
"I have plans for them that don't concern you, go find your own if you are hungry," the dragon said and turned around, walking into the forest.
"Get back here!" she yelled as the dragon's tail knocked over a tree and slipped into the darkness.
Adagio was feeling panic she was not sure what to do. She swam in circles and then heading back to Ponyville. I got to tell Sunset about this. She thought, swimming rapidly picking up speed creating a wake as her body pushed the water to the shore.
Adagio could see the outline of buildings from under the water as she got closer. Suddenly a net dropped in front of her and before she had a chance to turn it was pulled tight entangling her.
A crowd of ponies cheered as some of them pulled on the net pulling the Siren out of the water onto the shore.
Author's Note
Thanks for reading.
A lot is going on in this chapter.
I originally wanted the story to focus on Adagio only but realized being stuck in the river is very limiting.
So Sunset will have a side adventure to fill in the gaps.
Sorry about Applejack accent.
I will try and correct that soon.
Diamond and Silver found Fluttershy walking by the river, she was checking for tracks or prints along the shoreline.
“Miss Fluttershy are you busy?” Silver asked first.
“Yes very busy, I am looking for clues,” She said, sniffing the grass and comparing her hoof with tracks in the grass.
“Silver saw something in the river by the park,” Diamond spoke up and pushed Silver ahead of her.
Fluttershy stopped what she was doing and looked at Silver.
“I almost got a picture of it,” She said tried to describe it. “It was huge, big yellow flipper and orange fins, found it swimming away when I saw it.” Silver finished explaining.
“Interesting, but there are many creatures in Equestria, that have flippers and fins. If you can draw me a picture,” Fluttershy said and then spotted a uneaten fish tail. She touched the tail with her hoof.
“Eeewww, don’t touch it,” Diamond and Silver said together trying not hurl.
“It is definitely a water-bearing creature, and it has only been eating fish, that’s a relief,” She said and looked back at them with a smile.
“Why?” Diamond said curiously.
“Oh no reason,” Fluttershy said and continued to walk along the shore.
“Let's go, Silver,” Diamond suggested and they started to walk away.
“Good idea, please stay in town away from the water,” Fluttershy said as she spotted a large impression in the mud. It was much larger than a hoof print and it also had claws. She let out a gasp realizing what it is.
*****
Adagio didn’t remember much about what happened after being captured. It was a blur of images and sounds. She was placed into a large fish tank that was just big enough to hold her. The tank was on a frame of a wagon with wheels. A large stallion with brown fur, black mane, and tail was pulling the wagon by the yoke. She looked behind and could see an angry crowd of ponies yelling at her as they followed.
“Where is my daughter you monster?” Was the most common question that was yelled out.
Two doors opened to a large hall and the tank was pulled inside and then the doors closed preventing the crowd from entering. She still could hear the yelled and items being thrown at the large doors.
There was a light green pony with an orange mane and her tail curled into a bun. Her cutie mark was a wood hammer. Also, there was a pony wearing thin reading glasses, her fur was a shade of golden-gray mix and her mane and tail was a light gray. The cutie mark on her was a scroll.
“Thank you, Mr. Clydesdale you can go now.” Mayor Mare said.
Adagio turned quickly to see the large pony unhooking his straps. The colors or his eyes and mane matched. It’s him or, at least, his pony version. She stuck her head out of the tank splashing some water out.
“Kevin,” She said out loud which surprised him and he looked up at her and their eyes met.
“How do you know my name?” He asked, feeling a strange sensation of Deja Vue.
“Do you know this creature?” Mayor mare asked, looking at him.
“No, I don’t,” Kevin said with a confused look and walked out of the room.
Adagio watched him leave and kept looking in the direction he went.
“I’m Mayor Mare of Ponyville and this is Lady Justice,” She said, introducing themselves.
Adagio started laughing splashing in the tank looking down at them.
“Why do ponies has such stupid names?” She asked, not expecting them to answer. “Oh hi my name is Grass Eater because I eat grass, Or my name is House Builder because build houses. Rainbow Dash, I got rainbow colors in my mane and I dash around at high speed.” Adagio said, still laughing.
“ORDER I SAY, SILENCE!” Lady Justice yelled and pulled out a wooden hammer, smacking it against a wooden desk.
“Very well Judge Judy,” Adagio said, laying her hooves over the edge of the tank looking amused.
“I represent the citizens of Ponyville,” Mayor said, looking serious.
“I represent the law of Ponyville,”, “You have been accused of ponynapping are young,” Lady said and started reading of names of the missing ponies.
Adagio listened to the list. That dragon has been busy. She thought.
“Wait a minute, I know my rights, I have not even been officially arrested, where's the proof?” She said crossing her hooves and floating in the water.
“We don’t have a Sheriff here, never needed one before, Princess Twilight and her friends usually resolve issues before they get out of hand,” Mayor said with a sigh remembering the number of times Ponyville had to be repaired or rebuilt.
“What is your name?” Lady asked, looking at the Siren.
“Why should I tell you?” Adagio said, turning around and started to submerge into the tank.
“Adagio,” Willy said as he rolled into the room from the back entrance.
Lady was surprised to see him and then frowned, “Willy didn’t I say stay home,” Lady said, looking disappointed.
Adagio turned around and looked at the young pony as he rolled up next to the tank.
“Willy get back here, that creature is dangerous,” Lady said, dropping her papers and walked up to him quickly.
“Her name is Adagio Dazzle, mom and she didn’t do it,” Willy said protesting as Lady got behind his wheels and pushed him away.
“I’ll be the judge of that young man,” She stated and wheel him out of the room.
“It was a dragon,” He said just as the door closed.
*****
Apple Boom spotted Applejack walking with Sunset and the others. She ran up with a gallop and stopped in front of Applejack breathing heavily with a panicked expression.
“Apple Bloom what's goin on?” Applejack asked, trying to calm her down.
“Babs Seed is missing! she promised that we would play today, but no one has seen her,” She said sounding frantic.
“Did you ask Diamond or Silver?” Applejack asked, looking worried.
“Not yet, but Babs always keeps her promises. Do ya think that the Mokele-Mare got her?” Apple Bloom asked, not sure what to do.
“For now, ah think it is best that ya go into town, keep away from the water and don’t walk home alone,” Applejack said and hugged her, then sent her on her way.
“Who is Babs Seed?” Sunset asked not recognizing the name.
“She is Apple Bloom's cousin and was staying here the week. Oh good gosh we gotta get moving. Her folks will kick my behind across Equestria if we don’t find her soon.” Applejack said, walking faster.
“Hey, Fluttershy!” Pinkie said, spotting her by the river and waved to get her attention.
Fluttershy flapped her wings and quickly joined them with a concerned look on her face.
“Did you find something dear?” Rarity asked, noticing the look on her face.
“A dragon,” Fluttershy said, showing them a green scale stuck to the bottom of her front hoof.
“Spike?” Rarity asked, looked closer at the scale.
“No this one is very big,” She said and sniffed at the scale. “I think I can track it, but my nose is not as good as Spike’s,” Fluttershy said looked toward the Everfree Forest.
Sunset noticed some activity in town, there were ponies gathering around building holding signs like there were protestings. She noticed one sign that had an image of yellow Siren hanging from a tree. Fluttershy gasped when she saw it also. Applejack and Rarity started heading towards town when Sunset quickly stopped them.
“Please stay right here I’ll check it out,” Sunset said, as her horn glowed and she disappeared in a flash.
“There was something else I found,” Fluttershy said pointing to the river.
*****
“Are we supposed to believe that?” Mayor asked, looking at Adagio with suspicion.
“I am telling you the truth that I saw a large green dragon in the forest. That dragon has been the one ponynapping your children.” Adagio answer back in a loud voice.
Lady Justice looked conflicted because she knew that Willy doesn’t lie and now the Siren was saying the same thing. The problem now is that the ponies outside have already made up their mind that the Siren was guilty. The sound of pounding on the door was getting louder as the crowd was losing their patience.
Sunset pushed her way through the crowd of ponies and tried to look inside the building through the window but could not see inside.
“I found a book about those creatures, it says that they eat ponies.” Someone said in the crowd which caused others to talk louder and caused some to cry out.
“That creature ate my baby!” One frantic mother yelled out.
The crowd started pounding on the door, their hooves gouging out pieces of wood if this kept up the door would not last long.
Sunset shook her head. This is getting out of hand. She thought and decided to try and stop this. Pushing herself in front of the door between her and the crowd.
“STOP ALL OF YOU!” Sunset yelled out which caused some of the ponies to quiet down.
“Who are you? you're not from around here.” One angry pony called out.
“You are right I am not from here, but I know a mob when I see one. Before everypony starts jumping to conclusions maybe we should let the Mayor and Lady Justice do their job.” Sunset said trying to reason with them.
“But what about my kids?” One said.
“Where is Princess Twilight?” Another one asked.
“I want answers now!” One pony said, starting to push causing the others to argue louder.
“Seriously?” Sunset sighed and rubbed her face in frustration. Then her body started to glow causing the ponies to back off. Suddenly wings appeared on Sunset body spread open.
“Princess? it’s a princess!” A pony said and some of them bowed.
Everyone was now quiet looking at Sunset who looked at her wing’s with an annoyed look on her face as she folded her wings back against her sides. Taking a deep breath she looked at everyone.
“Please, princess help us find our children.” One of them asked.
“Listen good everypony, I am going to ask the Siren a question and then I am going to look for your children. Until this is resolved I want everyone to go home,” She said, pointing her hoof away from the building. They looked at her not entirely convinced.
“I promise,” Sunset added and then one by one the ponies started dispersing each heading in a different direction back to their homes.
Mayor and Lady noticed that it became unusually quiet outside. Then there was a knocked on the door.
“It’s safe now can I come in?” Sunset asked looking at the large door.
Mayor slowly opened the door and then saw Sunset and noticed her wings.
“Princess, of course, come in.” She said holding the door open as Sunset walked in.
“Princess Sunset... oh this is too much, you look ridiculous,” Adagio said and laughed out, spinning around in the tank.
“Adagio didn’t I tell you to stay out of sight,” Sunset said frustrated.
“Princess do you know this creature?” Lady asked surprised.
“Yes it’s a long story,” She said. “Adagio what is going on how did this happen?” Sunset asked looking up at the Siren who stopped and looked back.
“Fine but this will be the last time,” Adagio said and took a deep breath. ”I saw a large green dragon in the forest, it was holding on to a cage that had a small pony inside.”, “It headed into the forest and I lost sight of it, after that I headed back in town looking for you when I got captured,” Adagio said and submerged blowing bubbles.
“Mayor I apologize for this. Please watch over her until I get back. Me and the elements of harmony are going to look for your children.” Sunset said and turned around heading to the door.
“Hey, what about I need to do?” Adagio yelled out as he hoofs made a dull thump against the glass.
“You only told me that you wanted to go home. I will help you get there when I got back.” Sunset closed the door and left.
“That’s not the only reason.” She said sinking into the water.
***
Sunset was about to walk when she spotted Diamond and Silver approaching her.
"Princess is true that the Mokele-Mare was capture?" Diamond said, holding a microphone that was connected to a tape recorder strap around her neck.
"There is no Mokele-Mare young lady, Just like there is no Loch Ness monster," Sunset said sounding annoyed.
"Loch Ness?" Silver asked, never heard that name before.
"Then what was captured? Can it talk? Does it know where the children are?" Diamond said, asking more questions.
"Listen, kid leave Adagio alone and let the elements of harmony find the missing children," Sunset said, having enough and pushed Diamond aside walking away.
"What kingdom are you from?" Diamond asked in a loud voice.
"Earth." Sunset said spreading her wings and flew away.
"Where is earth?" Diamond asked in frustration and tossed the microphone to the ground.
"Maybe we should go home Diamond." Silver suggested.
"Not yet," Diamond said and started sneaking around the large building. She looking in each window until she spotted a tank of water. There was a large yellow tail in the corner but she was not able to see everything.
"I think my father would be very interested in this," Diamond said started walking with Silver who followed her.

Next up into the Forest and Filthy Rich's interest in collecting the exotic.
Thanks for reading.
The Mayor and Lady went home for dinner and left Adagio alone. The tank was covered with a large red velvet drape prevent anyone from seeing in but this also prevented Adagio from looking out. She swam to the top of the tank and surfaced pulling herself up by her front hooves.
“I’m hungry any room service here?” Adagio said, looking out at the empty hall. “Great, if this keeps up I may actually eat someone,” She said to herself feeling her stomach complaining.
Adagio considered trying to escape but without knowing how far she was from the river it was too great of a risk. She considered what could happen; 1. She gets captured by one of many unhappy residents. 2. She gets injured while trying to drag herself to the river. 3. She suffers dehydration and dies trying. Or a combination of all of the above.
Her sensitive ears then picked up the sound of the rear door opening and then hooves with the sound of wheels squeaking. She lower herself just enough that she see over the top of the tank and saw Willy approaching.
“Adagio, it’s me, Willy,” He said, looking at the tank and noticed that it had been covered up.
“Hello Willy,” She said, staying out of sight.
“I thought you might be lonely,” He said, locking his wheels.
“What every gave you that idea?” Adagio asked sarcastically.
“Well I figured being left alone must be hard,” Willy said, noticing Adagio's eyes. When she noticed she swam back out of his view.
“Go home Willy,” She said.
“Why?” He asked, sounding hurt.
“I don’t want you to get in trouble with your mother,” Adagio said, feeling her stomach growling.
“I can take care of myself,” Willy said.
“Listen, Willy, I am a dangerous creature,” She said climbing up onto the edge of the tank showing her teeth looking down at him.
“You are just different like me,” He said, unlocking his wheels.
“Like you as if, I was born like this, flipper fins and all,” She said, giving up for now on trying to make him go home.
“Well I was born like this see, my back legs are small and useless,” Willy locked his wheels again and wiggled himself out of his wheels and dragged his body forward by his front hooves.
“Ok fine I get the point, please stop dragging yourself,” Adagio said trying not to stare.
“How about this,” Willy shifted his weight and started walking on his front hooves with his rear end in the air. His small rear legs flopped as his tail brush against his noise.
Adagio started laughing at the ridiculous pony performing a handstand walking around the tank showing off.
“Oh I see that is how you pee,” She said out loud causing Willy to blush as he lost his concentration and fell over.
“Ouch,” Willy said, feeling more embarrassed than hurt. He rolled over and started moving back to his wheels.
“Sorry,” Adagio said sinking back down into the tank.
“Adagio?" He asked as he hooked himself back into his wheels.
“Yes?” She answered climbing back up onto the top of the tank.
“Do you have any friends?” Willy asked looked up at her.
“I have a select few,” Adagio answered.
“Can I be your friend?” He asked her.
“I will think about it,” She said not wanting him to get his hopes up.
“Ok,” Willy said rolling up to the tank.
After a few minutes, Adagio remembered what he said earlier.
“Willy, did you see a dragon?” She asked him.
“Yes, last week but no one believed me.” He said with a sigh.
“If you saw the dragon, then why were you not taken?” Adagio asked curiously.
“I don’t know maybe he didn’t like my wheels,” Willy said spinning in one place and stopped before he got too dizzy.
Suddenly there was a thump on the front door and then the jingle of keys, with a click as the door unlocked.
“Quick hide,” Adagio said and watch Willy move away as she submerged.
The door opened and Diamond was the first to enter, followed by her father. Filthy Rich was a businesspony who owned many of the larger buildings in ponyville. When not dealing with real estate he also ran Rich's Barnyard Bargains which sold furnishings to the locals. His fur was a tan color, mane and tail were light black showing hint of gray. Rich’s red tie had a dollar sign and money bags as his cutie mark.
“It’s in here dad,” Diamond said walking with a spring in her step.
“It better be,” He walked up looking at the large red curtain. “Well, where it is?” Mr. Rich asked looking around.
“Over here.” Diamond grabbed hold of the curtain with her teeth and pulled back until it fell to the floor revealing Adagio. The yellow Siren covered squinted adjusting to the light.
“It's magnificent and it's exactly what I need to complete my collection.” Mr. Rich said walking around the tank looking at Adagio figure.
Adagio was feeling uneasy being looked at like a specimen and she tried to avoid looking at him directly.
“She is beautiful,” Diamond said looking at the siren’s yellow scales which shimmered, with her yellow flipper and orange fins.
The Siren showed her teeth trying to look scary as her hooves thumped against the glass. Diamond jumped back when Adagio looked directly at her.
“Dad, do they eat ponies?” She asked looking worried.
“Just magic dear, but as for food, I read that they eat fish and other sea creatures.” He said and tapped on the glass with his hoof with caused Adagio to snap her jaw in his direction. “I think she is hungry.” Mr. Rich said and walked up to Diamond.
“Mom is not going like this.” Diamond looked at her Dad.
“Don’t you worry about your mother. Once she learns that ponies will pay hundreds of bits just to see this creature up close, I am sure she will agree with me on this,” Rich said walking to the exit. “Time to pay the mayor a visit.” He said emphasizing the word pay.
Mr. Rich opened the door for Diamond and then followed her outside closing the door with a click and then locked it from the outside.
Willy came out from behind a stack of tables and chairs. He walked up to the tank and looked at Adagio who could not hide anymore.
“Adagio?” He asked looking at her as she turned away.
The hunger pain was starting to cloud her mind. She should have eaten more today but being captured, interrogated, and then the stress of not knowing. Willy gently tapped the glass with his hoof to get her attention. Adagio snapped back showing her teeth and spikes from her fins, looking at him with small pupils.
“I’m sorry.” He said turning quickly and walked out the back in a hurry.
Adagio blinked shaking her head and realized what she just did and surfaced.
“Willy? come back, sorry I didn’t mean it,” She called out but he was already gone.
*****
Fluttershy was leading them into the forest as she tried to follow the trail of dragon prints. She sniffed the ground frequently to make sure she was going the right direction. Each one of them had a backpack strapped to their bodies. Rarity was at the rear pulling an overstuffed suitcase with her backpack.
"You have lovely wings dear." Rarity said looking Sunset over. "If I knew a princess was coming I would have worn something more respectable." She said, looking in a mirror she pulled out of her backpack.
Sunset grumbled as they walked along a trail in the forest. She closed her eyes concentrating and her wings disappeared to the surprise of the others.
"Aww liked your wings," Pinkie said, looking back.
"Ah don't understand why ya want to hide them," Applejack said ducking her head under a large tree branch.
"I just wanted to be treated like every other pony," Sunset said pushing some branches out of the way with her magic.
"Becoming a princess is a great honor," Rarity said with a smile.
"I did not earn these wings like Twilight, I inherited them from my mother," Sunset said sounding annoyed.
"Who is your mother?" Pinkie said with a grin slowing down to walk next to her.
"No one special," Sunset said noticing Applejack, Pinkie and Rarity staring at her. "Can we just drop it." She said walking faster past Pinkie and Applejack.
"You should have told me earlier that Adagio Dazzle the Siren was captured. Maybe I could have arranged a better place for her to stay." Fluttershy said taking a break from sniffing and looked back.
"Me and Adagio are not exactly friends, she will just have to wait until I get back," Sunset said not caring.
"Sirens need to eat regularly or they get aggressive," Fluttershy said and noticed a dragon print.
"That sound's perfectly normal for her," Sunset said and also noticed the dragon print as well.
"Looks like we are heading in the right direction," Applejack said noticing more trees knocked or pushed over.
Minutes later...
"Are we there yet?" Pinkie said following Applejack, who was behind Sunset.
"We don't even know where we are going or how long it is going to take Pinkie," Applejack said glancing back.
"How about a song?" Pinkie suggested and started humming.
"Please don't." Rarity said and used her magic to slipped on a pair or earmuffs.
Pinkie and Applejack then heard the sound of music coming from Sunset, who has put on a pair of earbuds with a wire going into her backpack.
"That so cool!" Pinkie said excitedly, quickly pushing past Applejack to walk next to Sunset.
"Do you want to listen?" Sunset looking over at her and she nodded her head. Her horn glowed and one of the earbuds popped out of her ear and then slipped into Pinkie's left ear.
"How did you fit an entire music band into a backpack?" Pinkie looked at the bag on Sunset's back.
"It's my MP3 player, I got lots of music from the other world in here. Like Rock, POP and a bit of R&B." She said looking at her.
"Got any country music in that thing?" Applejack asked looking ahead at them.
"Umm, girls we got company," Fluttershy said in a soft voice.
"Sorry, but maybe next time I load some into it," Sunset answered, looking back.
"I think you should see this," Fluttershy said sounding more urgent.
"How about Jazz or Classical?" Rarity asked also interested.
"I try to find some," Sunset said and walked into Fluttershy tripping over which popped the earbuds out her and Pinkie.
"What the hay is going on Fluttershy?" Applejack asked.
"I was trying to tell you," She said, pointing to glowing green eyes.
There was growl coming from the bushes and then a howl. One timberwolf stepped out of the bush in front of them.
"What is that?" Sunset asked pointing at the creature, noticing that it looked like a wolf but instead of fur it was covered in bark.
"A timberwolf!" Fluttershy said sounding scared.
"A wolf made out of timber, seriously?" Sunset said taking a step back.
"Careful its bite is poisonous," Fluttershy said and quickly hid behind Applejack.
"It's just one, Ah take care of it," Applejack said, walking forward.
"Timberwolves normally hunt in a pack," Fluttershy said as more timberwolves climbed out of the bush.
"I want to go home now," Rarity said, looking back the direction they came from.
*****
Adagio was getting more impatient and swam into the sides of the tank bumping her head against the glass. If I don't eat something soon I swear I am going to lose it. Oh yes, I am going bite some pony's head right off I don't care, She thought looking towards the window noticing that the sun was starting to set.
She noticed the sound of keys and then the front door opened. A unicorn walked in caring a bag that was dripping wet. Mr. Rich walked in as well and looked at the tank. Adagio surfaced long enough to smell fish and she swam into the side of the tank causing the wheels to move from her momentum.
"Mr. Rich are you sure the mayor agreed to this?" The unicorn asked.
"Yes, and I didn't pay you to ask questions. Now do your job and feed her the fish." Mr. Rich said and stood back.
The unicorn's horn glowed and the bag of fish floated to the top of the tank. Like a shark Adagio instinctively swam upwards opening her jaws and snapped the bag out of air tearing it to pieces as she quickly chomped down on the fish swallowing them whole.
"Yuck." The unicorn said and quickly left the building.
Adagio smacked her lips now noticing a strange taste from the fish she just ate. She looked a Mr. Rich who had a grin on his face.
"There is more where that came from back at my place. But I think you should just relax now before we go." He said and walked to the door.
Adagio was feeling strange like something warm in her stomach that was spreading inside her. The room started to feel like it was spinning and her eyes felt heavy as she drifted off into sleep.
"Now Mr. Clydesdale are you ready to earn some extra bits." Mr. Rich said.

I have a few ideas I am working on for the next one.
Thanks.
Sunset, Pinkie, Applejack, and Rarity backed into each other as the pack of Timberwolves surrounded them.
“They got us boxed in.” Rarity said, looking for an exit but the way back was now blocked off by a timberwolf.
“What do we do now?” Sunset said as the wolves approached them.
“Smash them until they don’t get up,” Applejack said, bucking a wolf knocking its head off.
The torso stumbled back but then another head grew out from its neck like a plant sprouting a new mouth and teeth.
“I’m a lean mean fighting machine,” Pinkie said, pulling out a large hammer from her mane with a menacing grin. With a swing, she bashed one to pieces.
One wolf charged at Sunset but was stopped with her magic. “It’s heavy,” Sunset yelled out as her horn glowed even brighter.
The wolf howled out as its legs snapped like twigs and it’s body started to compress. Her eyes glowed as the wolf was crushed into the shape of a ball and then tossed forward knocking over some of the wolfs like bowling pins.
“That was cool,” Pinkie yelled out and jumped in front of Rarity knocking another wolf down with her hammer.
"Stay back," Rarity said pushing the wolf back and tying it's limbs together with nearby vines.
Applejack bucked the wolf again smashing it against a tree trunk and this time it stayed down. The timberwolves howled and started to huddle together. Branches sprouted out from their bodies as they intertwined together forming into one very large timberwolf.
“Oh that is new,” Fluttershy said, making a mental note to update her book later.
“Any more ideas?” Sunset asked Applejack who was backing away from it.
“Ah think running would be a good idea,” Applejack suggested looking back.
Pinkie ran forward charging and jumped holding the hammer in her front hooves as she swung at it.
“Take that and this and that,” Pinkie yelled out swinging the hammer randomly hitting the huge wolf in different spots.
The hammer broke off small pieces of bark but didn’t phase the wolf. It growled and swung its front paw swatting Pinkie like a fly sending her flying back and slamming into a tree knocking her out.
“PINKIE!” They all yelled out but Sunset expression changed to anger.
Sunset’s wings appeared with a flash of magic and they appeared to be on fire. She looked directly at the Timberwolf with rage.
“You pissed off the wrong pony!” Sunset yelled as her horn glowed red.
Applejack and Rarity grabbed Pinkie pulled her back away from Sunset who appeared to be on fire, they felt the intense heat. There was a blast of flames that shot out from Sunset engulfing the huge Timberwolf. It howled out as it burned away slowly shrinking in size being consumed by the flames. It lashed out and tried to escape but it was useless and it stopped moving as it fell apart.
Fluttershy was shaking watching the flames slowly burning out. Sunset turned to look at them as her wings extinguished themselves and then fold against her undamaged but steaming.
“Are you ok?” Sunset said and took a step forward and passed out falling onto her right side.
“Sunset!” Applejack left Pinkie with Rarity and quickly walked up to her. She scooped up Sunset’s head in her front hooves and glanced over at the smoldering remains of the Timberwolves.
A few hours later…
Sunset slowly awoke to the sound of fire snapping and crackling, her eyes opened up looking at a camp fire. She saw Applejack stoking the fire and nearby was Rarity and Fluttershy tending to Pinkie.
“Yer awake,” Applejack said, smiling and walked over to Sunset and sat down next to her.
“How’s Pinkie?” Sunset asked slowly sitting up and moaned.
“Some cuts and bruises but she will be fine,” Fluttershy said as she finished applying ointment and stepped back.
“It’s just a flesh wound,” Pinkie said with a giggle and sat up.
“What the heck happened to ya?” Applejack asked and the others looked at her.
“I used too much magic,” Sunset answered and her stomach growled. “Excuse me.” She said, feeling embarrassed.
“I took the time to pack each of our food before we left,” Rarity said, pulling up her extra bag.
She used her magic to open the bag and removed carefully wrapped sandwiches for each of them. Sunset felt like she was starving and quickly ate her sandwich. The others took their time eating.
“Ah, it’s best we spend the night here and wait until morning to continue,” Applejack suggested, taking another bite.
They were surrounded by a few large rocks and broken tree trunks. The campsite was mostly on the flat dry surface. Rarity already set up her large tent which looked like a small purple house. Fluttershy’s tent looked normal in size. Applejack only had a sleeping bag with her. Sunset found her backpack which was all burnt up. She lost her sleeping bag and the mp3 player inside was now melted plastic.
“Pinkie you can sleep with me tonight,” Fluttershy said, pointing to her tent.
“Cool but I want to cook some marshmallows first,” Pinkie said, pulling out a bag of marshmallows from her mane.
“How did you do that? Sunset said, seeing that this was the second time Pinkie pulled an object out of her mane.
“I’m not telling,” Pinkie said with a goofy grin.
“Well you know Sunset this is Equestria after all,” Rarity said, leaning back into her large red chair.
“When something can’t be explained,” Fluttershy said, starting to explaining.
“Then magic is the answer,” Sunset said, finishing the sentence. “I have been away too long,” She sighed and looked up at the stars.
“Is there magic in the human world?” Applejack asked, relaxing by the fire.
“There is where I am, but only your counterparts and the ones who came from Equestria can use magic. The average human is clueless about it,” Sunset said and stood up.
“What does a human look like?” Pinkie said with a mouth full of sticky marshmallows.
“Well, something like this,” Sunset’s body glowed and there was a flash as she changed into her human form.
Rarity fell out of her chair with her mouth wide open. Applejack was surprised but she tried not to show it. Fluttershy was more curious to see a new creature in front of her.
“This is the coolest thing ever!” Pinkie quickly jumped from her spot and ran over to Sunset looking her over. “What are these things?” She said pointing.
“Hands,” Sunset said, wiggling her fingers.
“So that is what Twilight was talking about,” Applejack said remembering.
Fluttershy took out her sketchbook and quickly scribbled in a new entry called human. She started drawing a quick draft of a Sunset in her book.
After a few minutes, everyone settled down and Sunset was back to her pony self.
“Since we are going to spend the night here. Ah will take the first watch,” Applejack said.
“Princess please come into my tent I have lots of room,” Rarity said, leading her to the tent.
“Fine but please just don’t call me princess,” She said with a sigh and looked back at everyone. “Good night,” Sunset said, walking into the purple tent.
Pinkie and Fluttershy went into the small yellow tent waving a hoof to Applejack.
Applejack yawned look up at the moon and leaned back against a stump keeping an out a watchful eye.
Minutes pass by as Sunset laid in the bed which was very comfortable being portable.
“Pri.. Sunset are you still awake?” Rarity asked from the other side.
“Mmm ya,” Sunset mumbled in the darkness.
“Please don’t waste your magic on hiding your wings,” Rarity suggested with a yawn.
“So you noticed?” Sunset said, letting out a sigh as her wings appeared.
“This horn is not just for looks,” Rarity said getting comfortable.
Sunset relaxed and slowly fell asleep.
*****
Adagio awoke the next day feeling like she was suffering from a hangover. Also, the water and temperature felt different. Blinking her eyes awake she noticed that she was no longer in the town hall but in a very large aquarium. A few random fish swam in front of her. Moving closer to the glass she looked around and noticed that she had been moved into a large room. The room has pictures, paintings, and a large collection of unusual items. Looking further she also noticed drawings and paintings of different sea creatures. There was a whole section on the wall that had paintings and figurines of Sirens. Adagio seemed to recognize some of them but not the names. Her eyes then locked in on a large life-size statue in the middle of the room. It was a Siren that looked a lot like her and there was a red gem on the sternum. It appeared to be made of marble but still had color as if it was once alive.
Why couldn’t you let her rest in peace. She thought as her anger grew and started hitting the glass with her hooves. Unlike earth ponies her hooves were not solid but more like hard rubber. But she made enough noise to get Mr. Rich’s attention, he quickly walked into the room.
“What is going on?” He asked noticing the angry expression on Adagio face.
Adagio tried to speak but she was under water. She tried to surface but there was a solid lid covering the top of the tank that prevented her.
“I spent good money on that aquarium, now behave if you want to eat later,” Mr. Rich said and noticed that Adagio was staring at the statue.
“So know who this is or was,” He touched the side of the statue with his hoof. “I found her years ago when I was down south with the boys,” Mr. Rich walked up to a photo showing him with a group of other ponies dressed in safari outfits. “Those were the days,” He said with a smile on his face.
“Who are you talking to dear?” Spoiled Rich said walking into the room and look at Adagio and screamed.
Adagio couldn’t hear everything being underwater but she was reading some of the lip movements and body language, she could tell that Mrs. Rich was pissed.
“But honey bun hear me out.” Mr. Rich put his hoof around her.
“I have put up with your collection of nick and nacks for years. I thought it was going to end with that statue, but now you have real one in our Aquarium!” She yelled in his face.
“She may be the last of her kind." He said.
"That's not our problem." She said with her hooves crossed.
"Ponies will come from miles to see her and my collection,” He said still not convincing her.
"We are not running a zoo or a museum," She said with a grumble.
“They will pay good money,” Mr. Rich said raising an eyebrow.
“How much?” Mrs. Rich asked now sounding interested.
“100 bits may be more. They will also need places to stay and food to eat. Think of the opportunities,” He said holding her.
“OK fine, you convinced me for now. I’ll ask Diamond to make up the flyers,” She said sounding more enthusiastic. "But if this does not work out I want that thing out of here ASAP," Mrs. Rich said looking serious before leaving the room.
Mr. Rich walked up to the aquarium. Adagio eyes followed him showing her teeth.
“You are going to make us a lot of money.” He said with a grin and tapped on the glass before walking out of the room.
Adagio leaned her head against the glass with a thump, looking again at the statue. One name came to mind when she looked.
Allegro Dazzle her long lost sister.
*****
Applejack was snoring loudly leaning against a fallen tree, her plan of keeping watch failed miserably. Pinkie was giggling as she pulled out a marker and started drawing on her face.
"Oh my," Fluttershy said covering her mouth with a hoof.
Sunset yawned as she stepped outside and heard Pinkie giggling. She stretched out her legs and then her wings open fully before folding back to her sides.
"Good morning," She said walked up to Pinkie who stepped back snickering.
Applejack now had a second set of eyes drawn on her eyelids and eyebrows that looked like Mr. Spock with a pointy looking bread. Sunset covered her mouth trying not to laugh and quickly backed away bumping into Rarity.
"Hey!" Rarity yelled being knocked over onto her rear.
"Good morning ya all." Applejack yawned out and blinking looking around.
The first thing she noticed was Pinkie was rolling on the ground laughing. Fluttershy was avoiding eye contact covering her mouth. Sunset seemed to have the case of the giggles. Rarity was brushing the dirt off her tail.
"Did ah miss something?" She asked.
"No, um, nothing at all," Sunset said clearing her throat.
"Pinkie how could you?" Rarity said looking at Applejack in shock.
"What is it? Is there something on my face?" Applejack said blinking.
Rarity quickly rushed Applejack into her tent where there was a mirror.
"PINKIE!" Applejack yelled out from the tent and then tried to escape the tent but Rarity pulled her back in with her magic.
"Oh no, you don't, not until I get you all cleaned up." She said from inside the tent.
"Let me go, ah'll make her eat that marker," Applejack yelled some more.
"So what does a pony have to do to get some coffee around here?" Sunset asked.
Later on...
After packing up they heading out tracing their tracks back until they found the charred remains of the timberwolves. They carefully walked around the pile and continued down the trail.
Fluttershy was again able to find another dragon print and continued on. It felt like they walked for miles but it was just pushing there was through the forest that was slowing them down. Finally, the trail opened up and they saw an opening in a mountain.
Sunset noticed old rails on the ground with a some broken mine carts upside down. Applejack also noticed and walked up to the entrance. Fluttershy found more dragon prints in the mud and some claw marks on the carts.
"Look I found an old sign." Pinkie lifted the wood sign and leaned it against the side of a large rock.
"Danger unstable mines, closed due to collapse, do not enter." Fluttershy read out loud.
"Why would a dragon come to a place like this?" Rarity asked looking at them.
Applejack stepped on something shiny and dug it out with her hoof.
"Take a look." She said and kicked a small gem over for them to see.
"Dragon's love eating gems, it's like candy to them," Fluttershy said.
"Spike loves gems, could he be here?" Rarity asked them.
"If Spike is here then Twilight might be here also," Sunset said and closed her eyes concentrating as her horn started glowing. "I can feel her magic. What about you Rarity?" She said still closing her eyes.
Rarity closed her eyes and then nodded. "Yes, you are right, I also think I can sense Spike," She said opening her eyes.
Pinkie pulled out a mining hat out of her mane and slipped it on her head.
"There are times ah wished ah had a horn like yer girls," Applejack said.
"There are others down there as well, with luck we will also find the missing children," Sunset opened her eyes.
Author's Note
Another chapter finished.
More focus on Sunset in this one.
Adagio is not having any luck so far, hopefully, that will change soon.
Applejack watched impatiently as Twilight, Rarity and Sunset placed the last boulder on top. Now there was a stone wall covering the entrance that the dragon used to get in.
“What’s taking them so long?” Applejack said, looking in the other direction that Spike went with Pinkie and Fluttershy.
“There coming AJ,” Twilight said, sounding exhausted and sat down.
“You don’t look so good Twilight,” Sunset said, looking closely at her.
“I haven’t eaten in days,” She said, leaning against Sunset.
“We need to get you out of here,” Rarity suggested.
“Just a soon as the…” Twilight stopped talking when she saw Babs approaching them pulling a wagon.
“Babs!” Applejack quickly ran up and hugged her.
Babs was covered in dirt and dust, her normally red mane looked gray just like her fur.
“Applejack,” Babs said in a tired voice, she nuzzled her cousin gently.
“Let's get the wagon off ya,” Applejack said and then stopped when she noticed two injured ponies in the wagon.
“They can’t walk so Spike put them in the back.” Babs said, looking behind her.
Sunset quickly walked over and looked at a pegasus who had a broken leg bandaged up and a unicorn with a bruised ribs.
“Hang in there we are going to get you out of here,” Sunset said as her horn glowed yellow and then touched each one. “This will ease the pain for now,” , “Think you can lead them out of here?” She said looking at Applejack.
“Yes ah will get them outside,” Applejack said and then stopped to check with Twilight.
“Go on, I agree with Sunset,” Twilight said with a nod.
“Think ya can handle that wagon?” Applejack asked her cousin.
“Who do you think won track and field last time,” Babs said with a smirk trying to lighten the mood.
“Come on cuz, show me what ya got,” Applejack said and led Babs into the mine shaft heading out, pulling the wagon with her.
Next came Pinkie with one colt on her back and two other fillies following her.
“Once we get back to Ponyville, I am going to throw the biggest party ever,” Pinkie said smiling.
“Will there be ice cream?” The colt asked.
“You bet!” She said with a smirk and nodded when Sunset pointed the way out.
After Pinkie left then came Fluttershy with three more fillies.
“Spike says that the last four are coming with him,” Fluttershy said in a gentle voice.
“That’s great news Fluttershy,” Twilight said and looked at Rarity. “Go on ahead with them Rarity.” She said standing up.
“Thank Celestia, I am going to take a very long bath when I get home,” Rarity said shaking the dust out of her mane.
Rarity followed Fluttershy but stopped and looked at Twilight and Sunset.
“Make sure to stop by my spa later, you both need it,” She said and walked into the tunnel.
Twilight walked up to Sunset who was looking down the tunnel waiting for Spike.
“I am so glad you came Sunset,” Twilight said.
“It was a coincidence really, I was not expecting to lead a rescue mission,” Sunset said, hearing Spike approaching.
“Nice to see your wings again, they look good on you,” Twilight said, pointing at them.
Then there was a loud thud shook the chamber and then there a growl.
“Thanks, I…” Sunset said and noticed another sound coming from the other side of the chamber.
“He’s coming!” Twilight said looking at the wall of rocks and then turned to see Spike riding on the back of a young colt followed by the more fillies. “Quickly let's get out of here!” She yelled out pointing to the exit.
*****
“Adagio?” Willy called out as he wheeled past the gates of Mr. Rich house. He reached up with one hoof to brush his wet mane out of his eyes and the spotted a figure standing behind a tree.
“Well don’t just stand there Willy, we better get moving,” Adagio said in human form as she stepped out from behind a tree. She was wearing her usual clothing from the human world and had red gem attached to a necklace.
He stood there for a moment with his mouth open before moving forward.
“Is that you?” Willy asked still trying to make sense of this.
“Yes now come on, I don’t want to be put on exhibit again,” She said and started walking on the path heading towards town.
As they walked together Willy had all kinds of questions he wanted to ask her but was trying to decide where to start. He kept looking at her, noticing the differences in the way she looked and walked. The Adagio, he remembered at least looked half like a pony. She looked back at him noticing his eye’s checking her out trying to make sense.
“Sirens can change form if we want to hide ourselves, so I have decided to change into what I am most familiar with," Adagio said brushing her long curly hair over her shoulders. "A human," She said, looking at him.
“Human?” He said not familiar with the word. “Why not a pony?” Willy asked following her.
“After the way, I was treated by your kind, no thanks,” She said stretching out her arms adjusting to her form.
“My kind?” He said feeling offended.
“I have also seen how the others treat you,” Adagio said, looking his way.
“Oh,” Willy looked down walking. “But there not all like that, my mom treats me good,” He said.
“Sure there is going to be a select few, who are the exception, but people will always fear what is different and what they don’t understand,” She said walking right into town.
He watched how the other ponies pointed at them. Some stepped aside others closed their doors and windows. It must have been an unusual sight for the locals he thought. Watching Adagio walking on two legs fully dressed and then Willy the pony with only two good legs pulling his wheels behind him.
“See told you,” Adagio said not really caring anyway's.
Willy noticed the sound of galloping as someone was approaching them and he look back.
“Stop!” Mr. Rich yelled out, sounding out of breath, his mane was a mess and he was not wearing his tie.
Willy turned around to see him and then Diamond running up catch up with him. Adagio crossed her arms looking at them with a frown. The gem on her glowed red with her mood.
“That creature belongs to me, I paid good money for it,” He said recognizing her by the color of her eyes despite her human form.
“Her name is Adagio Dazzle and she does not belong to anyone!” Willy yelled back.
Adagio looked at Willy surprised by his outburst.
“My collectibles are ruined and it’s your fault,” Mr. Rich pointed at Willy.
“Yes dad he is the one that touched the aquarium,” Diamond said, looking at him.
“I demand compensation,” He said, looking at the glowing red gem on Adagio’s neck and figured it must be valuable. “That gem, I will take that back it’s mine after all,” Mr. Rich demanded.
“Enough!” Adagio yelled out to the surprise of Mr. Rich and Diamond hearing her speak for the first time.
She touched the red gem and pointed her right hand at them. They started floating in the air surrounded by a red glow.
“Daddy help,” Diamond said trying to grab hold of Mr. Rich to keep from floating away.
“Hold on pumpkin,” Mr. Rich said trying to reach her but she was floating towards Adagio.
“I always wanted a new play thing,” Adagio said with a smirk as her eyes glowed red pulling Diamond closer.
“Please don’t she's my only daughter,” Mr. Rich pleaded, “Take me instead,” He said trying to move closer.
Willy rolled up to Adagio and wanted to say something when she waved him back.
“Oh I don’t know, you see it has been a long time, since I had any good food and she looks so tasty,” Adagio said looked at Diamond licking her lips.
“Eeekkk help, don’t let her eat me, daddy,” Diamond said with fear swimming in the air.
“I’ll give you anything you want just don’t hurt her,” Mr. Rich said, showing tears,
“Well then, there is some I do need,” Adagio said releasing her magic dropping Diamond and Mr. Rich.
*****
The wall of rocks shook as something very large pushed against it from the other side. Then a loud dragon’s roar echoed causing the ceiling to crumble sending dust and small rocks falling down.
“Quickly this way!” Sunset stood by the exit and used her magic to hold up the ceiling.
Spike jumped off the colt’s back and lead them into the mine shaft heading outside.
“Follow me,” Spike said to the kids leading them out. They screamed when there was a loud thud against the rock wall scared.
“Twilight come on, I can’t hold this for long!” Sunset said, looking at her as she used her magic to hold up the ceiling.
Twilight looked at the wall of rocks starting to give and then quickly ran to the exit.
“You can not escape me!” Ripjaw yelled out.
Then there was the sound of mechanical clicks and ticks with metal clanks like something was opening, spinning and the locking into place.
She ran into the tunnel first. Sunset followed from the rear and noticed what sounded like a large hammer drill, digging its way out. Dust was filling the air making hard to see.
Twilight came out of the tunnel first and then Sunset who quickly turned around looking into the tunnel. Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Spike and the children were waiting for them.
“Sunset we need to go now!” Twilight insisted looking at her.
“That didn’t sound like a dragon,” Sunset said, walking backward. She turned around and started walking away from the mine shaft.
Suddenly the a large drilling machine burst out from the mine exit sending rocks and dirt flying into the air. It was a strange machine that looked to be part dragon with it wings and legs folded back tucked neatly into slots into its frame.
"Found you," Ripjaw's voice came from the large machine as its lights seemed to focus on them.
"Run!" Twilight said and quickly went behind Sunset pushing her into the trail making her move faster.
"Yes try and run little ponies," Ripjaw said as the large drill started spinning again and tank treads started to propel it forward into the trail after them. Blades on the large drill head easily cut through branches and bushes in the way.
"You know this would make a great Daring Do story," Pinkie said, looking back seeing the drilling machine chasing them.
"Maybe you can write you own story if will survive this," Fluttershy suggested, trying to keep the children moving.
"I wish Rainbow was here," Rarity said, using her magic trying to push the plants aside as they moved quickly.
"Let me help ya Babs," Applejack said getting behind her and the wagon and started pushing.
Sunset noticed that the drill machine was getting closer. The children were tired and pushing through this trail was slowing everyone down.
"Twilight it's getting closer," Sunset said, stating the obvious.
"I know," Twilight said, looking behind.
They came across the chard remains of timberwolves and then Sunset came up with an idea. She stopped and turned around to face the drill machine.
"Come and get me you oversized mixer!" Sunset said, using her magic and tossed anything that she could pickup at it.
"What are you doing?" Twilight said, stopping to see Sunset throwing branches, logs, and rocks at the machine.
The debris bounced off the metal drill and body parts. It stopped with a growl and its lights targeted her.
"You dare challenge me, I'll tear you apart and wear your pelt as decoration." Ripjaw's said with an angry voice and starting moving forward now chasing Sunset.
"What every happens, get the children back to ponyville!" Sunset yelled at Twilight and ran into the bush heading towards the campground.
*****
Kevin was hooked up to a wagon that had seats and a tarp covering the back. Adagio looked over the wagon and then brushed Kevin neck with her fingers.
"Mr. Rich are you sure about this?" He asked, looking at Mr. Rich who was consoling his daughter who looked shaken up.
"Yes, you will get paid in full, now take her to the south Luna ocean," He said and started walking back home with Diamond.
"Sorry about this Kevin, think of it as an adventure," Adagio said, as she climbed up into the seat.
"Sounds more like a quest to me, and by the way, have we met before?" Kevin said, looking back at her.
"I'll tell you about it once we get out of town," She said, leading back getting convertible.
He shook his head and then started to walk forward pulling the wagon without much effort, his hoofs clopped against the dirt road. Some of the ponies in town watched them go whispering and talking to each other about the recent events.
Adagio cupped the red gem in her hands looking into it, feeling her sister's aura coming from it. What every happened to her sister in the past has changed the properties of the gem. Perhaps it was destiny or fate that she found her.
After a few minutes, they reached the edge of town.
"ADAGIO, Adagio, wait for me," Willy yelled out chasing after them, his wheels squeaking rapidly as he got closer.
"Willy?" Kevin said and stopped and looked over to the left behind him and saw him breathing heavy.
"What about your family and friends?" Adagio asked looking down from her seat.
"I don't have many friends, besides I left mom a note that I am going on a field trip with my new friend," He said looking at them both. "And that Kevin will watch me," Willy added.
"What, I didn't agree to babysit," Kevin said, complaining.
"Oh, what the heck, I haven't been one to follow the rules anyways," Adagio said touching her gem and a red glow lifted Willy into the wagon.
*****
Sunset pushed her way through the bush into a small open area where they camped the night before. The sound of trees being knocked over as the machine tore its way to the campground chewing up the foliage.
"There is nowhere to run now," Ripjaw said approaching her.
"Who said anything about running," Sunset said spreading her wings as she flew upward into the air.
"Very clever, but you are not the only one who is capable of flight," Ripjaw said as the drill stopped in the middle of the field.
"Ripjaw BEASTMODE," He yelled out to himself like a command.
The machine started to slip open and fold in different ways. Metal parts disappeared inside and were replaced with dragon limbs and torso. The drill split and was pulled inside, The wings and tail locked back into a normal position. His head was last to snap in place completing the transformation.
"What in Equestria are you?" Sunset asked in disbelief.
Author's Note
Surprise.
Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
It has been a challenge trying to keep track of what everyone is doing.
I hope to get Sunset's adventure wrapped up soon and then more focus on Adagio.
If there are any errors let me know.
Sunset looked at green dragon which was as tall as the highest tree in the Everfree forest.
“Burn!” Ripjaw yelled out and exhaled fire with his mouth open.
She quickly powered up her horn catching the orange fire with her magic. Sunset rolling the fire into a ball and tossed it back. Ripjaw quickly swung his tail striking the ball of fire into the air where it flew off into the distance out of sight.
“Damn this world and it’s accursed magic,” He said and tried swiping his claws at her.
Sunset quickly flew to the left and then to the right easily avoiding his strikes.
“You didn’t answer my question Ripjaw,” She asked, trying to keep him distracted.
“Very well, I will entertain your curiosity,” Ripjaw said and his body transformed again.
Panels in his body opened again and most of his dragon feature folded up or disappeared inside. His dragon head detached folding to his back and then another head quickly ascended locking into his shoulders. Ripjaw now took the form of a humanoid robot. His green optics looked at her from his metal face.
“I am a Predacon!” He pointed his right arm which transformed into a weapon.
Sunset barely had time to cast a shield spell as a purple beam of energy blasted her. She was blown back and crashed into a tree.
“Sunset!” Twilight yelled out running across the field.
She found her friend in a brush upside down with her wings still spread open.
“Twilight, I told you to go…” Sunset said slowly rolling over back into her hooves.
“You should have listened to your little friend, now I will destroy you both,” Ripjaw said aiming his weapon.
The sound of energy filled the weapon as it glowed ready to fire.
Rainbow flew over and saw what was going on. She quickly dived down picking up speed creating a sonic rainbow boom.
Before he was able to fire off a shot a streak of blue zipped past his vision slamming into his weapon breaking it off his arm. He grabbed his arm looking at stump as is sparked and dribble lubrication fluid.
“Not so tough now, are you,” Rainbow said hovering in front of his metal face mocking.
“Why you little pest, hold still so I can crush you,” Ripjaw said trying to grab her with his left metal hand. But Rainbow easily flew around him at high speed.
“Too slow,” She said then landed next to Twilight and Sunset.
“Rainbow you're here,” Twilight said and hugged her.
“I thought…” Sunset said and was interrupted by Rainbow who lifted her hoof.
“Well I got tired of waiting, so I started searching and then I saw the fireball,” Rainbow said with a smirk.
“I will cut you to pieces!” He yelled out as his left hand changed into a glowing blade and ran at them.
They each flew off into different directions as he swung at them, cutting trees down in his path. Something then wrapped around one of his metal legs and he fell face first into the grass with a loud clank that shook the surrounding ground.
“Yehaa! Looks like we caught a big one Rarity,” Applejack said in a loud voice holding into a lasso with her tail as she pulled.
“Indeed,” Rarity said and used her magic to tie his legs together.
“Your inferno creatures you will pay for this!” Ripjaw yelled out with his face in the grass.
His blade transformed back into his left metal hand and pushed rolling himself over. Applejack tried to pull but it was no use as he easily snapped the rope around his legs and stood up.
“Stop right there!” Sunset yelled as her horn glowed brightly.
“You do not command me, I will de…” He turned to look at Sunset and saw his own weapon being pointed at his head as it floated in the air.
“That's right me and Sunset got the upper hand or in this case yours,” Twilight said as her own horn glowed.
“You are outnumbered and outgunned partner,” Applejack said holding another lasso in her mouth.
Rainbow hovered looking ready to strike with her front hooves up like a boxer.
“Your primitive minds cannot comprehend the complexities of controlling such a device,” Ripjaw said and started to move forward.
The weapon started glowing as it cycled up to full power. He stopped looking surprised and now frightened.
“Surely we can talk about this like rational beings?” Ripjaw said and started to back up slowly.
“I want you to go back to wherever, you came from and never return,” Twilight said pointed at him with her right hoof.
He looked around at them all and sighed and then looked at a display on his wrist checking numbers.
“Very well, I have wasted too much energy already,” Ripjaw said and looked at the weapon. “Can I at least have that back?” Ripjaw asked them.
“Let me think about that, Mmmm.. No,” Sunset said shaking her head.
He shrugged and then his body started changing form again. His body transformed back into a large green dragon, minus a part on his right side.
"You better hope, we never meet again," Ripjaw said spreading out his wings and flew off into the sky.
The weapon stopped glowing as it lost all power and then dropped to the ground with a loud thump. They stood there for minutes staring into the sky. Both Sunset and Twilight leaned against each other both very tired.
“You were both awesome!” Rainbow said still fully of energy as she flew around in the air.
“It’s was a team effort,” Twilight said with a tired smile.
“Can I go home now?” Sunset said half joking.
*****
Kevin walked along the path heading south pulling the wagon along with Adagio and Willy. The steady sound of clopping and a warm breeze was causing Adagio to doze off. Her head bobbed up and down as she tried to keep awake but it was a losing battle. She leaned over to the left and her head landed in Willy side. He almost yelped in surprise and looked over at human using him as a fluffy pillow. Her long curly hair covered most of her face.
Kevin noticed smoke as he kept on walking getting closer to it. Then there was the sound of someone talking out loud.
“What did Trixie do to deserve this?” Said a female voice.
As they got closer there saw the remains of a wagon that was burning. There was a cyan colored unicorn pacing back and forth in front of it. Her cutie mark looked like a half moon with a magic wand in it.
“Trixie!” Kevin said and reached around and pulled on a belt that unlatched him from the wagon.
Adagio blinked awake and noticed that she was laying on Willy. She quickly sat up rubbing her eyes and then noticed that Kevin was walking away towards a unicorn.
“Who calls for me?” She said, turning and saw Kevin approaching. “Oh, my knight in shining armor has returned to help,” Trixie said acting very familiar with him.
He looked at the wagon as its wheels fell off what remained of the burning frame.
“Were you playing with fire spells again?” Kevin asked, looking at her.
“You dare insinuate that the great and powerful Trixie, burned her own home?” Trixie said, looking upset and walked to him. “There Trixie was minding her own business when fire fell from the sky and crashed into her home, Trixie tried to stop the fire but no water nearby,”
Trixie walked up to him and started crying burying her face in his fur. Kevin gently rubbed her on the back with his right front leg. Adagio stood up and cleared her throat to get their attention.
“Hey now sorry for your lose, but we are just passing by, isn't that right Kevin?” She said in a loud voice.
“Who is that, Kevin?” Trixie said, pointing at Adagio who frowned in response.
Willy was about to speak up but Adagio looked at him and so he kept quiet.
“I am Adagio Dazzle a Siren, now if you don’t mind we must be going,” She said and sat down with her arms crossed.
“Now Trixie, Ponyville is not far just head back that way, I am sure somepony there will help you,” Kevin said and started to walk back to the wagon.
“Oh no, you are not leaving Trixie alone again,” Trixie said, walking with him.
“Again?” Adagio said, looking suspicious at Kevin.
“Trixie please not now, I have a job to do,” He said back up into the harness buckling himself back in with a click.
“Trixie will follow her future husband,” She said, fluttering her eyes at him.
“HUSBAND?” Adagio and Willy said as the wagon jolted forward.
A few minutes later...
"and Trixie using her awesome magic, vanquished the ursa major, sending it back into the everfree forest," Trixie said telling Willy one of her adventures.
"Wow you are awesome Trixie," Willy said with wide eyes looking down from his seat.
His tail swished almost hitting Adagio in the face. Adagio grumbled as she grabbed Willy tail and held it down.
"I heard that story Trixie, wasn't that ursa a minor?" Kevin said glancing back.
"Don't spoil Trixie's story Kevin," Trixie said and looked back at Willy. "It was still scary," She said saw Adagio's red gem.
Adagio noticed that Trixie stopped talking and looked over the left side of the wagon and noticed that she was gone.
"Trixie has never seen a red gem like that before," Trixie said now sitting to the right of Adagio.
"Eeekk!" Adagio yelled surprised by Trixie sudden appearance on her right.
"That was cool, how did you do that?" Willy asked, turning around.
"Trixie is a very talented unicorn," She said and reached over trying to touch Adagio's gem.
"Hey, keep your hooves to yourself," Adagio said and held the gem in her right hand.
"Sorry but Trixie is curious about your gem," Trixie said pointing at it. "Trixie likes to collect magical trinkets," She said sitting back.
"Get your own gem, this one is not for sale," Adagio said and slipped the gem under her top hiding it.
When Adagio looked back Trixie was gone like she just vanished into thin air.
"Trixie has been lonely without you," She said now walking next to Kevin.
Adagio was getting more irritated watching them. The way Trixie looked at him, flirting with him acting all lovey dovey. Sure this was not the same Kevin from her world but it still bothered her.
"Adagio what is wrong?" Willy asked, noticing her expression.
"It's nothing," She reached over and rubbed her fingers in his mane which he enjoyed.
After a few minutes Kevin came to a stop and started coughing loudly.
"Kevin dear are you ok?" Trixie asked looking concerned.
He nodded and unhooked the wagon and walked a bit until the coughing stopped and he was able to catch his breath.
"Kevin?" Adagio stood up and climbed down from the wagon and quickly walked up to him.
"I'm fine just give me a minute and then we can keep going," He said clearing his throat.
Adagio walked in front of him and put her hands on his muzzle looking in his eyes.
"Step aside and let Trixie help," Trixie pushed Adagio aside.
"Hey stop acting like you care, you just want to use him," Adagio said angrily.
"Go back to your seat," She said as her horn glowed.
Adagio blinked and found herself sitting back on the wagon not sure how she got there.
"Adagio did you hurt yourself?" Willy said, pointing at her hands.
"I.. no.." She said still confused and then looked at her hands and noticed blood on them. It was not her blood it was Kevin's.
This is how it started, it's happing again. Adagio thought and remembered what happen to her Kevin.
*****
A crowd of ponies cheered as Babs walked into town exhausted. She was followed by Fluttershy, Pinkie, and a the missing children. The kids ran to their parents who were crying tears of joy. Medical ponies quickly carried the wounded away, followed by frantic mothers and fathers.
"Babs!" Applebloom cried out quickly hugging her cousin.
She helped Babs to remove her harness disconnecting her from the wagon.
Silver and Diamond walked up to her friend. Diamond was not sure and then Babs jumped up and hugged her.
"You're a mess Babs, and now I am," Diamond said hugging back reluctantly.
"I missed you to silly," Babs chuckled rubbing her dirty hooves in her face teasing.
"Oh no, not me also," Silver said, backing up as Babs ran and tackled her.
Applejack smiled walking up to them and hugged Applebloom.
Sunset and Twilight walked towards the crowd. Rainbow flew in and landed near Applejack.
Is was a busy evening at Ponyville. Everyone had questions about what happened and how they escaped. Sunset and Twilight decided to leave out certain details until they had a chance to talk with Princess Celestia.
"Princess Sunset," Lady Justice and Filly Rich approached her.
"Please just call me Sunset," Sunset said and groaned standing up.
"My son Willy has ran away with Adagio," Lady said, sounding frantic.
"And she threatened to eat my daughter," Mr. Rich said, looking at Lady and then Sunset.
"&^%$&!" Sunset swore which caused all the pony in earshot to look at her.
"Applejack what does &^%$& mean?" Applebloom asked looking up at Applejack who just spat out her apple cider.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
Hopefully, things are not moving too fast.
I could spend more time describe surroundings, people, and places.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks again for reading.
Twilight’s Castle
Spike was looking at the weapon that Twilight and Sunset managed to drag back to the castle. He started poking at the metal parts with his claws curiously.
“Spike will you, stop playing with that thing,” Twilight said, looking over at him.
“Sorry,” He said and walked away from it.
“So what happened to you both,” Sunset asked them.
“Well last week Spike went to visit Rarity, but he never made it back home,” Twilight was explaining to her.
Spike looked at Twilight and then walked up to Sunset and cleared his throat.
“There I was minding my own business when a large dragon called out to me from the forest,” He said as he tried it act out what happened.
“Roar, I am the mighty Ripjaw and I need your help,” Spike said trying to speak in a deep voice.
Twilight giggled and looked at Sunset as groaned at the bad acting.
“Oh how can I help a fellow dragon, I said,” He explained flexing one arm at a time.
“I need someone of your size to help me dig for gems, The dragon asked me,” Spike said, continuing to act out a scene of a play.
“I would be glad to help, where are these delicious gems that you speak of, I asked him,” He said.
“Deep in the forest underground, I need you to come with me now, he insisted,” Spike said in a deep voice.
“Sorry but the forest is off limits and Princess Twilight would not allow me, I tried to explain,” He said and then acted out a scene that he was grabbed. “I tried to escape but he capture me and took me to the underground mine,” Spike said, finishing his story.
“So I went looking for Spike and got captured,” Twilight said not proud of what happened.
“Did you try to escape?” Sunset asked, looking at them.
“A few times but then he wrapped my horn and threatened to hurt us and the children,” Twilight sighed.
“It’s my fault Twilight if I didn’t get captured first then none of this would have happened,” Spike said and kicked the metal weapon which made a metallic clank against his foot.
“OUCH,” He yelled, jumped up and down holding his right foot
“Spike don’t beat yourself up over this, if it was not you, it would have been someone else,” Sunset said as her horn glowed as she touched Spike’s foot healing it.
"Thank you," Spike said, feeling a bit embarrassed and walked away to check his comics.
Twilight lead Sunset to a balcony and looked down to Ponyville. Music and laughter can be heard coming from the center of the town. Pinkie made good on her promise of throwing the biggest party yet for the town.
“I think this is the best spot in the castle, you can see everything from here,” Twilight said with a smile feeling the evening breeze in her mane.
“Friendship Rainbow Kingdom, is that what you are going to call this place?” Sunset said with a grin looking outside.
“Ponyville will always be Ponyville, besides it is not official yet, not until Princess Celestia says so,” Twilight said, looking at her.
“A kingdom within a kingdom?,” Sunset said sounding a bit confused.
"The Crystal Empire has its own government that freely trades with the rest of Equestria and then there is the Griffin Kingdom which is its own country," Twilight said trying to explain.
"The United States of Equestria?" Sunset said thinking about something similar.
“I guess that is one way to describe it,” Twilight said and watched Sunset heading back inside.
"If I get my own place some day, I'll call it the Kingdom of Kick-Ass ," She said with a smirk and started looking around the inside of the castle.
Twilight blinked for a moment and then started giggling and then she burst out laughing.
“Come on I want to show you something else,” She said trying to get her giggles under control and lead Sunset to a room.
“NO WAY,” Sunset said when she saw a crystal mirror it looked just like the one in Canterlot Castle.
“Yes way, I got my own mirror now, it just needs some tweaks,” Twilight said as her horn glowed and she rearranged some crystals causing it to power up.
“Will this take me home?” She asked her.
“I know you miss your friends, and I am sure Pinkie Pie has a party waiting for you there,” Twilight said with a nod and smiled.
“What about Adagio?” Sunset asked and looked out a window.
Near The Southern Trail
Kevin looked up as the sky was noticing that the sun would set soon and returned his focus on the campfire. He looked to the right hearing some animal noises from the forest.
“I don’t think Adagio likes Trixie,” Willy said and grabbed a stick with his mouth holding a marshmallow over the fire.
“Trixie is not bad once, you get to know her,” Kevin said, pushing a log deeper into the fire stirring up the ashes.
“If you say so, but I heard that she challenged Princess Twilight to a duel and wanted to take over Equestria,” Willy said and quickly pushed one end of the stick into the ground so he could blow out the marshmallow before it burned.
“That was the old Trixie, she has changed since then,” Kevin said and started coughing and stopped to clear the throat.
A short distance away in the bush...
“Slow down,” Adagio said, walking through the tall grass.
“This way don’t keep Trixie waiting,” Trixie said poking her head out from the grass.
Adagio was just tall enough to keep her head above the grass. Trixie, on the other hand, was lower than the grass and was hard to see. So she had to follow her voice and trying to keep up with the unicorn. The grass finely thinned opening up to a field of wildflowers which were of different colors and shapes.
“So pretty!” Adagio said walking between the flowers.
“Don’t touch or smell the bright blue flowers,” Trixie warned looking back.
Adagio carefully back away from a blue flower she was about to smell and then carefully walked up to Trixie,
“So what does it look like?” Adagio asked looking around.
“According to Zecora’s book on home remedies, we are looking for this flower,” She said and opened a bag she was caring with her magic.
A book floated in front of them and opened. Trixie then pointed to a page that had a drawing of a flower that was orange with blue leaves on the stem.
“I hope we find it before the sunsets,” Adagio said looking up at the sky noticing the time.
“Trixie will find it first,” Trixie said sounding confident.
“Not unless I find it before you,” Adagio said still looking.
After a few minutes of searching Trixie saw something orange near a pond. She slowly walked closer and then noticed two orange flowers growing on top of rocks clumped together in the mud.
“Looks like Trixie is the winner,” She said proudly, moving closer ready to grab the flowers.
Then she noticed yellow eyes from a Cragadile and stopped. Taking a closer look she saw that the flowers were growing on the back of the creature. She took a few steps back and it closed its eyes looking like a pile of rocks again.
“Did you find it?” Adagio said standing up stretching her back.
“Yes, can you please help Trixie get them?” Trixie said pointing to the flowers.
Not suspecting anything Adagio walked casually up to the mound of rocks and reached for the flowers. Trixie snickered to herself watching her pull the flowers out.
"That wasn't so hard AAAAHHH..." She screamed out noticing the rocks were alive.
Cragadile roared as it quickly turned and swatted Adagio with its large tail sending her into the flying in the pond. The creature turned and went into the water after her.
“Help!” Adagio said, coughing up some water, as she tried to swim.
“Oh what cruel fate, now Trixie has to give the bad news,” She said as her horn glowed grabbing the flowers and started to walk away.
*****
"Are you sure Twilight?" Sunset asked looking at the mirror.
"I'll find Adagio and bring Willy back," Twilight said with a smile.
"Alright but if Adagio, gives you a hard time just call me," Sunset said and hugged Twilight before walking into the mirror.
Twilight watch her friend disappear into the crystal mirror.
***
Spike was in the other room was trying to push the alien weapon to another spot.
"This would be so much easier if you were round like an egg," He said out loud now putting his back against it trying to push with his feet.
Suddenly it powered up and started to change shape, parts folding up and rotated it started the take the shape of an oval egg.
"Twilight!" Spike yelled out causing her to coming running from across the castle.
"What is it?" She said and gasped when she saw the large metal egg. "Spike what did you do?" She asked him.
They both looked at the egg which had small seams and it was made of that strange looking metal that Ripjaw was also made of.
"I just said it would be easier to move as an egg and it transformed into it," The young dragon said.
"Before anything else happens, help me move it into the dungeon," Twilight insisted.
"We have a dungeon?" Spike said sounding surprised.
"Well we are living in a castle Spike," She said rolling her eyes.

Adagio yelled out again and noticed Trixie walking away like she was ignoring her. The Cragadile was swimming towards her and she knew that she could not escape, at least not as a human. She closed her eyes and grabbed the red gem on her neck and submerged under the murky water.
“Well, that was anticlimactic,” Trixie glanced over not seeing anything on the surface of the pond and continued to walk towards the tall grass.
She then heard a high pitch screech and the roar of the Cragadile behind her. It sounded like two monsters were fighting. She slowly turned around and saw something she never expected. A large yellow pony-like creature with flippers was challenging the Cragadile. The Cragadile charged with it large jaws open trying to bite the Siren. Adagio being more adapted to swim, quickly dodged the attack and gave it a uppercut with her right hoof. It felt like she punched a brick wall. The Cragadile swam at her again but this time, Adagio used her magic. Trixie watched as a water in the pond started spinning into a whirlpool. The Cragadile tried to swim against the current, but it was losing the battle. Adagio raised her right hoof pointing and the whirlpool changed into a waterspout which launched the Cragadile into the air sending fly away. It landed on it’s back and struggled to roll back onto its feet. Trixie looked at the Siren staring down the Cragadile with glowing red eyes. The creature decided it had enough and walk away into the bush. Adagio then turned her attention to Trixie looking angry with her eyes glowing red.
A few minutes later Kevin and Willy heard Trixie screaming as she ran out from the bush into their campsite.
“Someone please help Trixie, a monster is chasing her!” Trixie yelled out as she burst out of the tall grass covered in grass and dirt.
Kevin and Willy quickly ran up to Trixie to check on her. Trixie quickly clung onto Kevin shivering. She pointed towards the tall grass and there was rustling noise as something approached them. Kevin grabbed a branch that was burning on one end and held it pointing towards the noise. They gasped as a figured climbed out.
“Hi guys,” Adagio said holding two orange flowers in one of her hands.
“You, you… YOU'RE ALIVE, OH Praise Princess Celestia on your safe return,” Trixie in a loud voice.
Willy quickly rolled up to Adagio and she gently caressed his mane.
“Miss me,” She said to Willy with a smile and looked at Trixie with suspicion.
An hour later...
"Trixie was so worried about friend Adagio that she panicked and started to run away to get help," She tried to explain as she used her magic to get the ingredients ready to mix.
"How did you escape the Cragadile?" Willy asked sitting next to Adagio.
"Oh well I was nothing, I just gave it a push and swam out of the pond," She answered looking at Trixie who shook her head not believing it.
"You can't full Trixie, there was another monster there it was yellow and attacked that Cragadile," Trixie said saw that Adagio was ignoring her now.
She noticed that Kevin was looking at Adagio and nodded with a smile. This angered her but she had to focus on the medicine. A small metal pot floated above the campfire. Two orange flowers floated and were dropped into the pot and then a few other ingredients were added with water. The pot started boiling letting off a strong smell.
"Now Kevin dear this potion will help you feel better," Trixie said as she slowly lowered the pot to the ground in front of him.
She used her magic to pour the contents into a glass bottle. Trixie then moved up close to Kevin and floated the bottle to his mouth. Adagio grumbled to herself twirling her long in her right hand and pulling on it. Kevin was about to drink it when Adagio stood up and walked over to him.
"Hold on let me try it first, I don't trust her," Adagio said and grabbed the bottle.
"But Trixie only made that for Kevin, it may cause some side effects," The unicorn protested.
"I got the flowers so I get to test it," Adagio insisted.
She blew at the hot liquid before sipping some of it down and regretted it right away, it was like drinking cough syrup straight from the bottle. Willy watched as Adagio ran into the brush making gagging noises for the nest few minutes.
"Trixie tried to warn her," She said and looked at Kevin.
Trixie gave the bottle to Kevin who gulped it down quickly. The large pony sat there quiet but then started to look green and quickly stood up and ran into the bush and also started to dry hurl. Adagio held her right side as her stomach felt warm as she walked back to Willy and sat down.
"Adagio are you feeling ok?" Willy asked, looking concerned.
"I'm ffffiiinnee just a little diizzyy," She said feeling the world spinning around her and closed her eyes.
Adagio didn't remember the rest of that night and fell fast asleep.

Thanks again for reading.
Adagio awoke to the sound of hooves clopping and the creaking of wood as the wagon gently shook.
“Hey Adagio is awake,” Willy said in a loud voice.
“Good morning,” Kevin said looking back as his tail tried to swat a flying bug that was buzzing near him.
Trixie was walking next to Kevin and only glanced back for a moment without saying anything.
“Oh my head,” Adagio said feeling like she was having a hangover as she sat up and brushed her hair out of her eyes.
“Here, have some water,” Willy said and pushed a bottle over to her with his hooves.
“Thanks,” She said, grabbing the bottle and started drinking. “How long was I out?” She asked wiping her lips.
“All night and most of the morning, Trixie had to put you in the wagon,” Kevin answer looking back.
“Not that Trixie wanted to, but Kevin asked nicely,” Trixie said, looking ahead.
“How are you feeling today Kevin?” Adagio asked looking at him.
“Better now, the medicine has helped,” He said and cleared his throat.
They approached a sign on the trail marked Las Pegasus it was pointing west. The trail they were on merged with another trail heading west.
“Trixie always wanted to visit Las Pegasus but she did have anypony to go with her,” Trixie said looking at the sign.
“Well you are in luck then Trixie, we need to go there to get to the beach,” Kevin said following the trail now heading to Las Pegasus.
Trixie squealed in excitement prancing around Kevin.
“I remember when Los Pegasus was just a small town, me and the girls use to sing there,” Adagio said remembering.
“Really Adagio, I didn’t know you could sing,” Willy said with interest.
“Just one of my many talents,” She said with a smile.
“Trixie has many talents as well,” The unicorn spoke up.
“Can you make yourself disappear?” Adagio said looking annoyed.
“You first,” Trixie said with an angry voice as her horn glowed.
Kevin turned quickly to left and bumped Trixie off her feet and then came to stop,
“Quit it both of you, the last thing I want is to have you fighting all the way there,” He said in a stern voice.
Trixie was on her side and looked up as Kevin started moving again. She quickly got back on her feet a caught up.
“Fine,” Adagio grumbled and tried to avoid eye contact with Trixie.
“Don’t be mad at Trixie, she will try her best to be good,” Trixie said and caught up to Kevin.
“I have never been a beach before what is it like?” Willy asked wanted Adagio to cheer her up.
“Hot sand on your feet, the ocean breeze in your face, crashing waves against the shore,” Adagio said with a smile trying to describe it to Willy.
“Wow, do you think I can go swimming?” He asked with puppy eyes looking at her.
Adagio looked at his shriveled small back legs and wondered if he could swim. Trixie smirked looking back and then noticed Kevin looking at her and then she cleared her throat.
*****
Twilight yawned as she returned to the castle. Applejack insisted that she go to her place for breakfast. It felt more like a brunch because there was so much food on the table. She involuntary let out a burp which echoed against the crystal walls of the castle and quickly covered her mouth embarrassed.
“Spike I’m back,” She called out but did see him.
“Quick hide,” Spike said trying to speak quietly.
“What are you up to Spike?” Twilight said, wondering what he was doing.
[Whrr-tschzz-tschzz-tschzz-chk]
She heard strange noises coming from the next room. Twilight walked into the room and found Spike alone reading his comics.
“Just reading my comics,” He said sounding nervous.
“What was that strange noise? Is someone else here?” She asked looking around.
“I, i was just making noises acting out this page, tschzz, tschzz,” He said pointing to his comic book.
“Err ok, I guess, anyways me and Fluttershy are going to Las Pegasus to see if we can track down Adagio,” Twilight said using her magic to unroll a map of Equestria.
“Las Pegasus, cool are you going to stop at the casino?” Spike said and pulled out a coin rolling it between his claws.
“No, this is a mission to find Wheels, I mean Willy,” She said and grabbed the coin with her magic. “Mr. Rich said that they are heading to the South Luna Ocean, so the most direct route would be to Las Pegasus and then to the beach,” Twilight said and placed the coin on the map where the beach is.
“Buy a souvenir, or better yet buy me a souvenir,” The young dragon smirked.
“Still collecting things?” She said with a smirk.
“What can I say it’s in my nature,” Spike smiled.
“I suppose it is a better hobby than taking what is not yours,” Twilight said raising her eyebrow.
“Hehe ya I know,” He said and glanced over to the corner of the room then back to his comic.
She looked around the room and felt that something was off but just could not figure it out.
Las Pegasus
The lights of Las Pegasus along flashed advertising, hotels, casinos, broadway shows and many more attractions. Adagio could see the similarities between this city and Las Vegas from the human world. But everything about this word was built for the equine population. Instead of cars and limos, ponies got around in wagons or by hoof. Most of the upper class and well off ponies had their own private fancy wagons which were being pulled by other ponies dressed in tuxes. They looked so out of place here with their very basic old wagon, a pony version of the Beverly Hillbillies.
"Trixie feels so underdressed," She said looking at some of the ponies dressed up in expensive outfits. Trixie's horn glowed and she materialized a dark blue dress with star patterns and a small witch's hat that matched.
"Wow, can you do that Adagio?" Willy asked looking at her.
"No," Adagio said looking down at her gem.
Trixie horn glowed as she aimed it at Kevin. A fancy tie appeared around his neck but he seemed to be missing the rest of the tuxedo.
"Hey now don't go casting magic on me without asking first," He said and touched the tie.
"Sorry but Trixie wants you to look your best, after all, there is a nice wedding chapel coming up," She said beaming looking at the building.
A newlywed couple came out of the chapel. Balloons and rice popped out of a machine on top of them as a few spectators clopped their hoofs on the ground cheering. Then another couple walked into the building like a fast food restaurant. Trixie was watching with hearts in her eyes.
Kevin quickly changed direction heading away from the building. Adagio held on to her seat and Willy slid into her lap from the sudden turn.
"Hey careful there Kevin," Adagio said as helped Willy back to his seat.
"Sorry," He said moving quickly.
"Where are you going darling?" Trixie yelled out looking at the back of the wagon heading left down another street, she then ran after them.
"Shortcut," Kevin said not able to come up with a better excuse.
"Adagio do you think that there is more like you out there in the ocean?" Willy asked looking at her.
"Last time me, Aira and Sonata were here, many of are kind left the ocean and used their gems to become earth ponies. What was left of the Sirens faded away into history," Adagio explained to Willy who looked down.
The sound of music and flashing lights came from a large building as they approached it. There was a large water fountain in front of the building. The fountain consisted of three Siren statues, each back to back blowing water in three directions into the shallow pool below. The entrance looked like a large roman arch covered in lights that twinkled. There was a large sign on the front of the building.

Las Pegasus Beach
There was a flash of purple and Twilight appeared holding onto Fluttershy and then let go.
"Here we are, Las Pegasus Beach," Twilight said and pulled out a photo that was cut from a travel magazine. She looked at the photo and it seemed to match where they teleported it.
"Oh wow, there is sand everywhere," Fluttershy said sounding interested and started walking around feeling her hooves sinking in the sand.
They looked around finding ponies sunbathing, others playing volleyball. Only a small number of ponies went into the ocean near the shoreline to feel the waves. There were two pegasus lifeguards who every once and a while blew a whistle or flew out to the rescue.
"I am the tower of power, yeah!" Said a white male pegasus pony with small wings and very muscular body. He was competing with other muscle bound ponies in front of a crowd of spectators.
"Bulk is that you?" Fluttershy asked as she and Twilight approached the stage in the sand.
"Yeah, nice to see you both," Bulk Biceps said as he flex for the crowd.
There were four judges and each one held up a sign one at a time. [9.5], [9.0], [10], [8.0]
Bulk Biceps snarled at the lowest score looking at the judge with a scary face. The judge gulped and quickly changed the sign to a [9.0] The crowded cheered at the results and Bulk nodded in agreement walking off the stage.
"We didn't know you were here Bulk," Twilight said with a smile.
"When I hear about the muscle competition, I just had to come and show them what I got," He said and stood up to flex for them.
"Speaking of muscles have you seen Kevin Clydesdale?" Twilight asked him.
"No, is he here? I am looking for a rematch, oh YEAH," Bulk said looking more pumped up.
"If you see him or Willy Neigh let us know," Twilight said slipped on some sunglasses with her magic.

"Hey Adagio that statue looks a lot like you," Willy pointed with his right hoof.
"Stop the wagon!" Adagio yelled out.
She then quickly jumped out of her seat and climb down and quickly walked up to the fountain for a closer look.
"What's the emergency?" Kevin said trying to see where Adagio went.
He reached over and unbuckled his harness, then walked towards to the fountain after he spotted her.
"Wait for Trixie dear," She said and started walking.
"Hey don't leave me behind," Willy said and reached over grabbing his wheels.
Willy waved to get Trixie's attention. She grumbled looking back and powered up her horn to picked up Willy out of the wagon. Adagio twirled her long hair in her fingers looking a the middle statue with looked just like her.
"Sonata Dusk," She said looked at the one on the left. "Aria Blaze," Adagio said looking at the one on the right.
"Eeek!" Trixie yelled out getting a closer look at the statue. "That was the creature that chased Trixie in the forest!" She said hysterically and ran behind Kevin hiding.
"Hmm, this one?" Adagio pointed to the one on the right.
"Nooo," Trixie said looking from behind Kevin.
"How about this one?" Adagio pointed to the one of the left.
"Don't tease Trixie, it was the one in the middle," She said looking at it.
"Oh I am not so sure about that," Adagio said with a smirk, "You see that one is stone," She said and touched her gem and her body glowed shifting form into her Siren self. "I'm the real thing!" The yellow Siren said balancing on her tail.
She looking at Trixie with glowing red eyes. The unicorn eyes rolled back as she fainted.
"Trixie!" Kevin said and quickly turned around and tried to wake her.
Adagio started laughing out loud and sat down on the edge of the pool feeling the cool mist on her scales.
"That's was not nice Adagio," Willy said rolling up to her.
"I know, but it felt good," She said and glanced up at the statues.
"Welcome fellow Siren, to your home away from home!" A female voice called out.
"OMC, it's Adagio Dazzle!" Another voice said as two figures approached them.
Adagio turned around to see two earth ponies approaching, both of them had red gems around there necks. She looked more closely and noticed that there mane's had the same hair styles and colors of;
"Aira?" She said looking at the pony with her mane tied up in ponytails. "Sonata?" Adagio said looking at the other pony who has her mane tied up in the style of a long tail.
"Your Adagio Dazzle the original, wow this is an honor to meet you," One more pony said walking up to them with the same human hair style in her yellow mane, she also wore a red gem.

Adagio ate all the fish in the aquarium much to the displeasure of Mr. Rich. After that, he started feeding her regularly but the fish tasted funny and it made her feel weird.
“See told you Silver, my dad always gets what he wants, unless I am the one asking,” Diamond said, showing her Adagio.
“Oh wow your dad has the coolest stuff,” Silver said, removing the lens cap on her camera.
"Make sure to get a good picture for the flyer," Diamond said.
Silver started snapping photos, the camera flash bothered Adagio but she couldn’t muster the energy to respond. She slowly turned away closing her eyes waiting for the bright spots in her eyes to fade.
“I don’t think she like’s the camera Diamond.” Silver said putting the camera.
“Doesn’t matter we got the photos now. Let’s head back to the office, we can use the printers there to make flyers,” She said and walked out of the room.
Silver looked at Adagio who was floating showing her backside and felt sorry for her.
“Silver are you coming?” Diamond called out.
“Yes sorry,” She said and quickly left the room.

Kevin Clydesdale was the go-to guy if you wanted something moved. Mr. Rich called on him often when every he needing to deliver furniture. Other times if somepony was moving in or out usually he would be the one pulling the trailer. It wasn't a glamorous job but he was glad to put his muscles to use. On the side, he worked on fixing trailers.
“Mr. Clydesdale!” Willy said, walking quickly pulling his wheels along.
“Hey Willy, how are the wheels?” Kevin said, lowering his head to be more at eye level with him.
“There fine but that’s not why I am here,” Willy said, looking up at Kevin who was almost twice the height of a normal size pony.
“Well, then how can I help by best bud?” Kevin said, sitting down.
“I am looking for Adagio,” Willy said.
“Who is Adagio?” Kevin said not sure.
“Adagio is that fish pony, the one in the large tank,” Willy said, looking at him.
“Ooohhh, yes I remember now,” Kevin scratched his goatee with his right hoof.
“Where is she?” Willy asked.
“At Mr. Rich house, He asked me to bring her there,” Kevin answered looking at Willy.
“Did anyone even ask her, what she wanted,” Willy said stomping his front hooves. He quickly turned around and walked away as his wheels squeaked behind him.
“Willy!” Kevin said, standing up to watched him go. "What has got him all worked up?" He asked himself and sighed.
He started to head back inside his barn. He stopped in his tracks and started coughing out loud, then spat out some blood before continuing inside.

“This is ridiculous, I’m no packmule,” Diamond complained, pulling a small wagon full of flyers. “Want to take turns?” She asked Silver.
“Let me think about that,” Silver said, rubbing her chin in thought. “Ummm, No,” She answered quickly.
Diamond frowned and keep moving forwarding pulling. She noticed a young pony pulling wheels behind him instead of using his back legs, he was rapidly approaching them.
“Diamond, wait up,” Willy called out stopping in front of them quickly, which kicked up some dust in the air.
Diamond coughed covering her face. “Willy, watch where you are going,” She said in an angry voice.
“Sorry, but I need to ask you something..,” He said, sounding out of breath then noticed Silver and blushed.
“I don’t have all day, what do you want to ask?” Diamond said, waving her hoof getting his attention.
“Oh ya, Adagio, I want to see Adagio,” Willy said, turning his attention to Diamond.
“Who is that?” Diamond said, sounding frustrated.
Willy noticed the stack of flyers and saw a picture. Quickly he grabbed the flyer on the top and showed her.
“This is Adagio,” He pointed to the picture on the flyer.
“Hey don’t go taking stuff without permission,” Diamond said grabbed the flyer from him. “If you want to see it, then you will have to buy a ticket like everyone else.” She said, pointing to the price on the fly.
“100$ bits, I don’t have a hundred bits,” He said with a sigh looking disappointed.
Silver walked up to Diamond and whispered in her ear. Diamond rolled her eyes and then nodded.
“I can give you a sneak peak, but you’ll have to pull all these flyers to my place,” Diamond said with a smirk.
Willy looked at the small wagon stacked full. “Hook me up.” He said with determination.
*****
Sunset slowly walked into the mine shaft, she powered up her horn creating a small floating ball of fire lighting up the way.
“I got to admit Sunset, your magic sure is impressive,” Rarity said, walking behind her.
“I took the same classes as Twilight when I was younger,” Sunset said, looking at the old beams holding up the walls.
“What was Twilight like in class?” Rarity asked, watching her step.
“Like a nerd,” Sunset answered.
“That’s not nice,” Fluttershy said, speaking up.
“In a good way, she was always trying to help me learn,” Sunset said, walking.
“Why did ya steal Twilight’s crown?” Applejack asked curiously.
“I was jealous and selfish back then,” Sunset said as she kept going.
After about 15 minutes they came up to a fork in the tunnel and noticed that it slip into two different directions.
“So which one will it be? Door number 1 or door number 2,” Pinkie said out loud sounding like a game show host.
“It’s too dangerous to split up,” Sunset said, closing her eyes using her horn, then pointed her hoof to the left. “This way I think.” She said and started walking left.
“Sure hope yer right,” Applejack said.
“That's left Applejack,” Pinkie said with a giggle causing the others to shake their heads.
After walking for a long time the air started to feel humid and warm. Then there was the sound of pickaxes striking against rocks as they walking further down the mine shaft. They noticed an opening to a larger chamber. Then there was the sound of hooves clopping, crunching against the rocky ground. Sunset extinguished her fireball when she started to notice a light. The light got brighter, then they saw a young earth pony covered in dirt and dust. She was pulling a cart full or raw gems of different shapes and sizes. There was a small oil lamp attached to it allowing her to see as she kept moving.
“This is terrible…” Fluttershy started to say but Applejack covered her mouth.
There was the sound of something large moving around in the next chamber.
“Mm, m, Mr. Ripjaw, I got more gems,” The young pony said sounding nervous.
Applejack recognized the voice and quickly started to push her way forward but was blocked by Sunset who held her back shaking her head. The was a low rumble and then the sound of crunching.
“Not good enough,” A deep low voice said as it spits out the gem.
“I don’t understand sir this is what you asked for,” The girl sound frightened.
“Yellow and red gems have more energy, these dark blue gems are not worth my time,” The voice echoed causing some dust and dirt to fall. “Go back to your post, inform the others that I will only accept yellow and red gems,” He said.
They watched Babs walking past the entrance with her head lowered pulling the half full cart with her. Sunset could feel the rage coming off of Applejack. Her body was tense and steam was coming from her nostrils.
“You big bully, you won’t get away with this!” Twilight voice yelled out. Applejack stopped moving when she heard her voice.
“So you keep repeating,” Ripjaw answered not concerned.
“What kind of dragon ponynaps children and uses them to dig for gems?” Spike's voice yelled out.
“I am more than just a dragon,” He said and started to move away. “This conversation is over,” Ripjaw said leaving the chamber.
After waiting a few minutes to make sure the coast was clear. Applejack was the first to stick her head out of the opening and looked into the chamber. The chamber glittered with fragments of gem shards embedded in the walls. This provided an eerie glow allowing them to see without the need of torches, it was like walking inside a christmas tree. She spotted Twilight in a room dug into the wall behind bars. Her horn was covered in some kind of tape. Spike was across the room in a cage locked up.
“Twilight,” Applejack whispered and quickly walked to her.
“Applejack, careful if he sees you he will harm the children,” Twilight said, happy to see her friend but worried.
“She is not the only here,” Sunset said, walking into the dim lit chamber followed by Rarity, Pinkie, and Fluttershy.
“Sunset, Pinkie, Rarity, Fluttershy,” She said with a large smile looking at them.
“Spikey-wikey, darling I missed you,” Rarity said, walking quickly to Spike’s cage and used her magic to unlock it.
“Rarity,” Spike said and hugged her close.
Sunset used her magic to bend the bars open allowing Twilight to step out.
“I loved to tell you what happened, but we need to move quick before he comes back,” Twilight said, taking charge.
*****
Willy moved forward with determination pulling the cart full of flyers with only his front hooves.
“Willy please let me help,” Silver said, looking concerned.
“I can do this just watch me,” He said, pulling as they slowly walked up a small hill on the trail.
“Silver, if he really wants to see that fish he will have to earn it,” Diamond said with her nose pointing up in the air.
“She’s not a fish,” Willy said with a grunt as he kept moving.
“Let’s see, she lives under water, has gills, flipper, and fins, sounds like a fish to me,” She said, leading the way.
“She’s my friend!” He yelled out moving faster to the surprise of Diamond.
“Actuality she is a siren,” Silver said, trying to correct them.
“Not helping Silver,” Diamond said, sounding annoyed.
After a few minutes, they reached the gate to Mr & Mrs. Rich’s house.
“At last,” Willy said relieved wiping the sweat from his forehead.
“Not quite yet, you still got to bring them inside,” Diamond said as she opened the gate.
“Aw really,” Willy said, lowering his head and then started pulling again.
Silver looked at Diamond for a moment and then walked quickly catching up to Willy.
*****
Spike was clawing at Twilight’s horn removing the tape that was covering it.
“Thanks, Spike, now can you help Pinkie and Fluttershy find the children. We need to get them out of here quickly,” Twilight said pointing to the smaller mine shaft where the sound of pickaxes were coming from.
“Roger,” Spike said making an army salute and then showed Pinkie and Fluttershy the way.
“I don’t wish to be a bother Twilight, but what are we going to do?” Rarity asked.
“We need to buy some time, Mr. Ripjaw is very punctual, he checks in every hour,” She said looking around the chamber and spotted some huge boulders. “Ok we need to move those boulders and close up that large mine shaft,” Twilight said pointing with her hoof.
“There way too heavy Twilight,” Sunset said shaking her head.
“That is why Rarity is here if we combine are magic then we can,” She said standing next to her.
“Oh dear, I hope I can keep up with two princesses,” Rarity said, walking up next to Sunset and Twilight.
They closed their eyes and their horns started glowing in sync. Then opening their eyes they focused on the first boulder. The large rock glowed and slowly lifted off the ground. It slowly floating until it was placed in front of the large mine shaft. They continued moving more rocks closing up the opening.
Fluttershy and Pinkie kept their heads low since the ceiling of the shaft was getting lower.
“I don’t think we can go much further Spike,” Fluttershy said.
“That is why he needed children, there smaller and can get into tight places,” Spike said getting on all fours. “Stay here, I will get them.” He said and kept going.
“Careful Spike,” Pinkie said watching his tail.
*****
“Make sure you clean your hooves and don’t touch anything,” Diamond said, watching Willy.
She leads Willy into the study that looked more like a pawn shop full of rare collectibles. He looked around and then spotted a statue and then past it was a very large aquarium built into the wall.
“Adagio!” Willy walked quickly up to the glass and looked at her. Adagio was staring at the statue not paying attention to him. He waved his right hoof trying to get her to notice him but she looked drugged. “What’s wrong with her?” Willy asked looking at Diamond.
“She’s fine my dad has been training her, now she is nice and quiet,” Diamond said with a smile.
“No this is wrong!” He yelled out looking at Adagio and started to tap on the glass with his hoof.
Adagio keep hearing her name as she looked at her sister. One memory of the past came to her.
“Don’t worry Adagio, the currents may be leading us in different directions, but one day we will see each other again.” Allegro voice said.
“But sister, I don’t want to be alone,” Adagio called out.
“You have Sonata, Aria now and I am sure that one day you will find love like me,” Allegro said with her hoof hooked around a male siren.
“Fine but, I will still miss you,” Adagio said crossing her hooves swimming near an underwater home covered by some carefully stacked rocks.
“May the great mother of the sea protect you,” Allegro swam up and kissed her sister on her forehead before swimming off with her mate.
“Adagio!” A male voice called out with the sound of thumping.
Adagio blinked snapping back to reality and slowed looked down noticing Willy.
“That’s enough Willy, I told you not to touch anything,” Diamond said and pulled him away from Aquarium by his wheelchair.
"Willy," Adagio said under water but he could not hear her. She saw that the little one with a tiara on her head was trying to pull him away.
I got to get out of here. She looked at her sister and spotted the gem. Time to go, Adagio slammed her hoof on the glass which got Willy's attention.
"Yes Adagio I am here," Willy said locking his wheels.
"That's it I, am going to get my dad right now," Diamond said quickly letting going and walking past Silver who was just watching.
Adagio waved to Willy, then pointed at him and made the motion with her hooves covering her ears. She opened her mouth and started to scream out. At first, there was nothing at then the sound of high pitch tone.
Willy covered his ears as the sound got louder. Silver also covered her ears crouching down.
"What in Equestria is going on?" Mr. Rich yelled out as he followed Diamond back into his study. Covering his ears he looked at the Siren with her mouth wide open.
The glass on the Aquarium started cracking. Mr. Rich quickly grabbed Diamond and Silver as the glass shatter into a thousand pieces. The rush of water knocked over most of his collectables and pushed Mr. Rich, Diamond and Silver back against the rear wall.
Willy coughed as the rush of water subsided. He blinked and looked as Adagio dragged herself across the wet floor over the broken pieces of glass and collectables. She reached the statue and balanced herself pushing up with her rear flipped. Her hooves reached around her petrified sister holding her in a hug. Adagio looked into her sister's eyes one last time.
"You kept your promises Allegro, now it is time for me to go," Adagio said and then there was a bright red glow between her and Allegro.
By the time the red glow faded Adagio was gone and only the statue remained missing the red gem that once was attached to it.
"No, no, no..." Mr. Rich said letting go of Diamond. He looked at what remained of his collection. Slowly he walked up to the broken Aquarium, pieces of glass crunched under his hooves.
"Well, you still have the statue Dad, and it is one of a kind," Diamond touched the statue with a gentle tap.
The statue started to crumble as it changed into sand covering the wet floor.
Silver looked left and then right. "Where is Willy?" She asked.
