Chapters Author's Note
This first chapter is pretty sad, but things will get better :) *has fingers crossed*
The monster inside me
"H-hello?" I asked the endless foggy void around me. "Anybody there?"
Shivers ran down my spine simultaneously as I took one slow step after another. Eerie whispers and bits of laughter surrounded me wherever I went. A gentle breeze picked coldly at my cheeks.
In an instant a dark shadow passes by at the corner of my eye. I turn around quickly to try and see who it might have been, only to face more fog.
"Show yourself!" I call out again into the nothingness in front of me.
The laughing sounds again, but much closer this time. My hands begin to shake slightly from fear as I continue to wander, hoping to find something. Anything really to know it's not just me here with voices in my head.
"Scared, are we?" Came the sound of a deep feminine voice from behind me.
My body freezes as a cold breath goes down the back of my neck. Slowly I turn my head.
"Boo!"
With a gasp, I'm knocked off my feet, not from frieght, but fom the form of the figure in front of me. I land hard on my rump, facing the creature, snikering it's sharp teeth at me, It's blue eyes staying locked on me. The figure wore a full set of medevial looking body armor that clanked with each step it took. The figure seemed to heave a head that belonged to that of an equine, having pointed ears atop her head and a muzzle protruding from her face. I only say her based on the breasts upon it's chest as it approached slowly.
Shaking, I tried to squirm away, but I didn't get far as the horn on it's head began to glow a midnight purple color, the same aura surrounding my body. Suddenly I couldn't move.
"Going somewhere?" She smiled a sly smile, reaching a hand out to me where she took a hold of my shirt collar and picked me up. From my new angle, I could see this creature also had wings on it's back.
"Put me down!" I pleaded, fearing I may get hurt.
She did put me down thank goodness.
"I have a favor I must ask of you." she said bluntly.
"Wh-what's that?" I asked, taking a few steps back. "Do I even have a choice.
The creature cackled. "Yes...and no, really. It's either you do as I ask, or you perish!"
"What is the favor?"
She didn't reply as she only grabbed me and pulled me close, not in a good way either. Her muzzle nearly made contact with my nose, her slitted irises glowing slightly as she smirked fear into me.
"Trust me. You'll see."
Her smirk widened and her eyes grew brighter, blinding me.

"Wake up, Simmons," came the voice of my Algebra one teacher, Mr. Phil. The voice was foggy in my sleepy head, aching as a result of four hours of testing. The tapping and rapping of his fingers on my desk bring me back to consciousness though.
"Wha?" I asked as an automatic response as I sat back up in my chair, saliva causing the paper to stay stuck to my cheek.
He gave a sigh with a shake of his head and removed the paper from my face. "Get to work."
I only nodded, turning to look back at my test, thinking about the wierd dream I just had.
I looked up at the clock above the door. 1:58 it read. twelve minutes till class is over.
"And take those weird contacts out of your eyes," he finishes before leaving me to do my work.
Contacts?
Confused I take out my phone. Peering into it, I notice my eyes look just like the creature from my dream! It was hard to fight back that yelp.
"Miss me?" Came her voice again, but from inside my head.
Now I'm freaked out!
I can't do my test like this! What's even going on!?
"What's going on is that I am weak from battle and need a worthy host to use so that I may heal." the creature answers.
She's inside me!? Why are my eyes like hers?
"That's easy! You're turning into me! I need to absorb your body so get back the strength I lost!"
Suddenly I noticed fur beginning to spout on my hands. In an instant I packed my things, ignoring any questions from my teacher and I leave the room.
"Why are you doing this to me!?" I ask aloud through gritted teeth.
"I can't battle my sister when I'm weak can I especially when she's got six friend to help her since she can't beat me alone!"
"You're going to kill me aren't you..." I asked as I left the building, running still, heading home as fast as I could.
"You're lucky because I can't kill you. I could if I wanted to, but if I do, I'll be harboring a deceased host and I won't heal."
I sighed heavily through my panting as my legs began to strain, begging me to stop. The clopping of hooves only furthered that. Yes, my feet had become hooves. So many thoughts ran through my head such as my parents turning me away, my girlfriend to break up with me. Me being alone and homeless from it all. I began to ignore anything the creature said as I arrived home. My parents both work during the day, so nobody is home so I walk right in after unlocking the door.
I head straight up to my room and I close the door before I flop onto my bed to stare a the ceiling fan, drowned in a sea of stressful thoughts.
"I'm becoming a female horse alien freak," I muttered to myself, knowing soon I won't be a man anymore.
I close my eyes as I curl up under the covers while the changes pass. I can feel each one of them. Tingling all over from the growth of fur, tightness from growing boobs, an aching feeling as my long horn goes into place. Soon my hair is a long flowing blue mane with psarkles and a tail to match. It's all growing at once, but rather slowly. Right now I must look like a failed cross breed of human and horse.
I gaze into my phone screen again, nolonger seeing my face as it was mishaped and mutant looking. Suddenly my phone turns on and begins to vibrate. An image of my father along with his phone number appear and the option to answer or end the call appear. He must be so dissappointed in me. I'm a generally good kid and do as I'm told, I get good grades. I'm hardly ever late to class or school and suddenly he knows I've run away.
I don't know if I should answer or hang up. This is a lot to take in right now. A LOT.
After a moments hesitation I answer the phone knowing he'll just keep calling anyway.
His voice is angry and straight to the point.
"Y-yeah?" I ask through my growing muzzle, thanking the heavens my voice is still mine.
"Why aren't you in school, mister!?"
I don't answer due to the fact I have no idea what to say, plus the chance my voice might have changed. I'm really trying my best to keep it together right now.
I give a heavy sigh, fighting back possibly foriegn tears as I try to think of an answer. "I..." is all I managed to get out before I hung up.
Suddenly I feel as if I need to go to the bathroom.
With another sigh, I slowly get up, removing the covers, revealing the new body that's becoming mine.
Breasts, a slimmer shape, a tail, hooves which have made my legs digitigrade, and garnish it all with a coat of midnight black fur. I close my eyes for a moment to take it all in. Everything and everything past turning into this creature.
I get up and head into the bathroom and as I stand in front of the toilet, I'm scared to pull down my jeans and boxers to find you know what to be missing. I grip the brim tightly, unwanting to push down, but the need to go forced me into it. I look away as I do this, reaching a hand down to feel. For a moment all I can feel is a slightly thick coat of fur. We're just coming winter, so this must be this creatures winter coat. I feel around for a bit more thinking maybe it's hidden in the fur, but I come up short, and three holes are what I come to feel.
My legs suddenly become wobbly and I lose my balance, falling onto the toilet the tears begin to fall finally as well as the bodily waste that's been wanting to come out. My hands have begun to shake again as i stare at them, knowing im a...a woman now.
"Can you not? Seriously?" came the creatures voice again, sounding annoyed.
I only ignore her as tears continue to roll down my cheeks and muzzle, soaking any fur they touch.
"Why is this happening to me? What did I do to deserve this?" I ask aloud to nobody.
"Do I have to explain it again?"
"SHUT UP!!" I snap, pounding a fist into my lap, only my voice comes out much much louder than I thought. "You're doing this to me! You're going to ruin my life!" I continue to roar, causing the mirror above the sink to shatter, light bulbs to pop and everything else rattle.
"Very well done."
After that, I ended up bursting into tears. Pathetic, huh? I turn into a female horse human thing, and all I can do is bawl on the toilet.
At least until three minutes later the familiar sound of my dad pounding on the door echoed into my new ears. Knowing there's no way out of this, I head straight down to the door after pulling my pants back up of course. I only stop on the way down the stairs to see a family photo. My eigth birthday. I sat happily as my parents sang to me. I could see a slight reflection of my face in the glass. In comparison, an ethereal, flowing, blue mane replaced my usual short, black, spikey hair and fur hides my once smooth white skin. My eyes are blue now instead of brown and I'm nowhere close to smiling.
I place a hand on the picture, hoping my parents will still wear the same loving faces now as the did then when they see me like this.
Another triple knock on the door tells me enough wishing and to just get this done. So I finish heading down the stairs, the door in front of me now.
The opening of this door, and what happens after, will decide my fate when everything is said and done.
All I can do is hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.
The door pushes open, and dad's angry face appears. Only it didn't last long when he sees me. Being here in front of my father like this has me at my witt's end, doing what I can to keep as calm as possible. He stares at my for a few seconds with those green eyes of his and takes off his black cap.
"You ran away because you're wearing some silly costume!?" he asks, but I could only wish for this to be a costume, which it's not.
I turn my gaze to the floor, unable to even look my father in the eye.
He sighs heavily before rubbing his goatee with a hand. "Take it off and go back before I put some hurt on you. You look stupid in that thing."
"The nerve!" came the voice of the creature in my head. "Does he not know who he's just insulted!?"
I don't respond, since I'm not even sure what to do now since my father just said I look stupid like this.
Not getting an answer but have irritated him as he came close to me. "Go change, now!"
"I can't," I manage to squeak out as I starred at my furred arms.
"What do you mean you can't?"
With a sigh I turn my head back up to him
"I've turned into this."
He watches me for a moment, studying my movements.
"I know, dad...I'm a freak," I mutter, staring down at the floor. "J-just don't hate me o-or throw me out because of this..."
Dad obviously seems lost now, he's pacing the floor, hands on his head. "This is just absolutely crazy!" he says outloud, finally speaking..
"You're telling me," I reply, staring into the convinient mirror in the foyer. That oddly shaped quine face still replaces mine. It angers me to know I've become this thing, so I look away and down, only to be met by my new breasts, mostly concealed by my shirt collar. They're D sized, with a little tuft of fur between them. It grosses me out.
"You have no taste in mares if my body digusts you." The creature cut in. "Aren't you glad you're pretty?"
"No, now get out of me!," I scream, holding my head in my hands.
"You know I cannot do that."
"You're ruining everything..." I muttered before collapsing to my knees and hands. I cannot bear to look at my father, scared to witnes the look of dissaproval on his face.
"Oh, please, now get up." the woman deadpanns.
"Once you're out, I'm gonna, I'm gonna.."
"GUNNA do what? Do you have any idea who I am!? The pain I can cause you!? I am Nightmare Moon! Queen of the moon, stars and night and I am the high ruler of Equestria!" she droned, lying about the last bit.
Knowing she's right, it meant I could only look for comfort from my father. Slowly I turn my head up, hoping to see him with a hand reached out to help me up. Sadly that's not what I saw. I've looked up, just to be staring down his doule barrel shotgun.
"I don't know who the fuck, or what the fuck you are, but I want you out of my house!" he growled, cocking his gun.
My body freezes up again. "But dad it's me!" I pleaded. "I...I had this dream at school and-"
"OUT!" he roars again, moving the gun closer.
"What is that thing he's pointing at us?" Nightmare moon asks curiously.
"Dad..." I reply to him softly, tears flowing down my cheeks. "You gotta believe me..."
"One." he says sternly.
Knowing him, when he begins to count, he means it.
"Two."
With a sigh I get up to my...hooves.
"Okay, I'm going." I say before I head over to the door, my reflection showing in the glass again as I turn the knob. Blue slitted eyes, a large, flowing blue mane with what appear to be stars in it. A long horn protruding right from my forehead. This is my face now. A face I'll Have to get used to. A new life of losing everything I'll have to get used to as well.
I open the door and half way through exiting, I turn my head to look back. "I'm sorry...just...tell mom I'm gonna miss her."
With that said, I leave the house and shut the door, staring at it once again. I've just lost my family and everything else that goes with it. I no longer have a home, a mother's good cooking or beer time with dad. I've lost his love, and my mother's. I've lost my humanity, my masculinity. Everything.
Looks like my fate has been decided.
Time to start walking.
Not so alone afterall...then alone again
With my fate decided, I began to walk back down the long dirt road that leads to my home. Guess what else?
It's raining.
Nature just had to choose now to rain.
So as I trudge my way through the ever thickening mud, my clothes and....fur get wetter each passing second. I look back for a moment, about a hundred yards from the house to see my father watching me from the living room window with a scowl on his face. I sove my hands into my pants pockets, staring down at the ground as I walk, my hooves getting covered in mud. I had to remove my shoes since they dont fit what I have now.
Normally when I'm upset, I'd call my mom and she'd come and talk to me. But how could she possibly believe I've turned into a freak and had dad point his gun at me? As of now, I have nothing. Just the clothes I'm wearing, a fw bucks, a phone that's almost dead and a pack of Red Hot's bubble gum in my pockets.
If God is real, then I guess I must of committed some sort of sin to which he's using his rain to urinate on me, telling me to screw myself. I wasn't ever much a believer of God. He's supposed to keep the world happy and in good shape, but why is Donald Trump here then?
I couldn't help but laugh at myself for that one, but soon my laughter turned to sobs as the heavily stressing thoughts of losing everything comes back to mind. I head under one of the many trees that line the road to lean against.
At least the tree knows how to help me keep standing.
I can't seem to shake the memory of staring own into the barrel of dad's shot gun. I at least prayed they were bird shots in there since he mostly hunts birs ince there's a lot in thi area. It'd still hurt, but would only really puncture my skin a bit. Now if it were a buckshot or a slug shot...my brains would have been all over the place if he shot me.
"You alright?" Nightmare moon asks in my head, but her caring tone had a truck load of sarcasm hidden behind it.
"Why woud you even ask that!? You've gotten me kicked out of my house! My dad didn't believe it was me for a second!" I yell through my sobs. "Why can't you just leave me alone...you'e done enough damage as it is..."
Nightmare cackles to my pleas. "Boy, you have no idea the damage we've already dealt in our time! My almghty sister wasn't strong enough to stop me, what makes you think you even have a slight chance!?"
I let out a heavy sigh, knowing she's right. Wiping my tears I resume my walk, the sound of cars slowly becoming the more dominant sound in my ears. It sounds a lot closer for some reason.
"I never said I could beat you,I asked why you have to ruin my life?"
"It's what evil villians like me do best!"
Shaking my head I only continue to walk.
Then the familiar sound of my mom's red Dodge Caravan comes into my ears.
"Mom!" I yell, running out to the middle of the road to block her path. She barely manages to stop a fw inches in front of me, mud flying out from under the wheels. "Mom help me!" I plead, going over to her door as she gets out, putting up an umbrella
"Who are you and what do you want?" she asks plainly, looking awkwardly at me. She must think it's a costume as well.
Under the stress I've been through I couldn't help it to hug her, burying my face into her chest. "Mom, I need your help! I had this weird drem at-"
"HEY, get off me!" She shrieks before I could even finish as she pushes me off. I lose my fotting from it and I end up almost slipping and falling, which would have not been good.
"She SHOVED me!" Moon whines.
"Mom..." I say again as I manage to get my footing back, only to see a bottle of pepper spray in my face when I look back at her.
PSSSSSHHH!!!! went the spray, and it wasn't long before it kicked in.
"Ow, mooooommm!!!" I scream in pain, wiping my eyes frantically to get the chemcals out. "I'm trying to speak to you! Jesus fuck!"
"What do you want and stop calling me mom!"
I groan heavily as the pain slowly subsides. "If you'd let me explain myself!"
"I don't have time for this." she deadpanns before getting back into the van.
"Mom! I....I had this crazy dream at school about this weird alien horse thing that said she wanted a favor of me, okay? When I woke up she was speaking in my head and suddenly I began turning into her! That's why I look like this! I ran from school because I didn't want to be there like this, then dad came home, I tried to tell him, but he pointed his gun at my head and told me to leave and now I'm hoping you'll at least understand, because I'm really stressed out and I don't wanna be homeless! You gotta believe me...please..." I blurted out in a mere twenty seconds, and I ended up starting to cry half way through.
"Please, mom...don't leave me...you guys always said you'd love me no matter what..."
Mom sighs heavily, moving some of her long curly brown hair out of her blue eyes. "Look, I don't know you. Whatever your problem is...whatever you are...you've got the wrong person." she ays calmy before beginning to drive off.
She doesn't get far as I only hold onto the car to get her to stop.
"What!?" she barks. "I don't have time for this!"
Quickly, I take out my phone and I begin to go through some baby pictures, explainging each one to her as she told me, like my first Christmas how she dropped a slice of cake on my head. I told her her maiden name, and managed to remember the story she told me of how her and dad met. he said she was in highschool at a party when she saw him, intoxicated, he walked right into the pool and snk straight to the bottom, so mom had to go and save him. Yes it should be the other way around, but life can be weird at times...I know.
She stares at me for a few seconds with her slightly wrinkled face as to where I still have tear streaming down my cheeks. It burns from the pepper spray so it feels like lava instead of tears coming out of my eyes.
"Now do you believe me?"
Again she gets out of the van and looks me in the eyes.
"I'm a freak, I know..."
"Is it realy you, Jake?"
"Yeah it's me, mom...your Little Mister Snuggle Bear."
"And I just..." she says, staring at the pepper spray bottle still in her hand. For a moment she turns around and chucks it into the trees before turning back to me. "Oh, Jake...I'm sorry..." she says pulling me into a hug. "What kind of a mother uses pepper spray on her own child..."
I give a sigh of relief that she at least believes me and still loves me.
"It's okay, mom...it's okay," I reply, returning her hug. "I love you mom."
"I love you too, Jake."
Smiling, I get into the front passenger seat of the van and I lean my head on my mother's shoulder.
"You've gotten me all wet, but at least you're okay." she smiles and rubs my head and begins to drive. "You can take a nice long na after cleaning up, alright, sweetie?"
I nod. "Yes, mother."
"Wash out your fur good, or the rain'll make it stink."
I laugh a little at that. "Yes, mom."
"So, I guess I'll have to change out your shampoos since you're a...horse...I guess?"
"Yeah, but I think I'll be fine with what I have."
Mom smiles. "Alright, dear."
I let out a sigh, staring down at my new breasts, covered in fur, with a rather large patch coming from my neck to a point at the end of said breasts. I feel like big foot. A big ugly horse version of big foot.
"I guess you're our daughter now huh?" Mom asks as we arrive at the house.
"Mom! Not cool.." I huff with a roll of my eyes as I exit the an
I see dad on the porch with his gun, glring at me.
"I thought I told you to leave!" He hollers, pointing towards the dirt road.
Mom gets out, upset. "That's our son, James!" Mom says in protest.
I can see dad sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose, probably thinking, "Oh god, here we go..."
"How can you possibly believe that freak is our son!?" Dad yells. "It's even female! It has tits! Those god foresaken, god aweful hairy tits..." dad grimmaces, shaking his head.
I only turn my head to the ground, feeling a pang of pain in my chest hearing insults from the one I used to get along with so well. I shut my eyes tight, feeling new tears coming along.
"But she has told me things only Jake woul know! It has to be Jake!"
Dad sighs again. "Margaret, that thing is NOT our son! I don't know what it must have done to you to get you to believe it!"
It? So suddenly I'm not even a person anymore, but jut a useless thing? I find myself wrapping my arms around myself as the tears threaten to escape their prison.
"I don't know what it is, or why you believe it, but I want it gone!" Dad huffs, putting his gun into both hands.
Mom grunts. "You're so stubborn! Put that gun down! I will not allow you to shoot our son!" Mom yells, approaching dad.
Shaking, hadly able to breath right, I head to th back of th van for cover incase dad decided to shoot. I slump down to my rump, trying to figh the pain, but it seems impossible as the tear slips.
"You aren't goign to cry again are you?" Moon asks.
"This is all your fault you fucking bitch," I growl between gritted teeth.
I ignore anything else she says as mom and dad yellling at each other prevents me from hearing anyway. It hurts to hear them fighting over me. Dad wants me gone. He doesn't even love me anymore. He pointed a gun at me and seems so dsperate on kicking me out. I sit there holding my knees to my hest with my arms, burying my head into them. I allow my tail to curl itseflf around me as i rock back and forth, trying to keep it together.
The yelling seems to drag on and on, but dad just won't give in.
"What's the point in even being with you if you aren't even going to accept your son for what he's become when he had no control over it!" Mom yells.
Nice, now my family is about to be torn apart because of this.
Sighing, I stand again and I begin walking.
"Yeah, you had better leave!" dad shouts.
I keep my arm wrapped around myself for warmth since the rain as soaked through my ur, and now I'm freezing.
"Jake honey, where are you going?" mom asks, following me.
"Nowhere." I reply, still walking. "Just away from here. I want to be alone..."
"M-maybe we can head up to grandma's! She'll let you stay there I'm sure!" She grabs my shoulder. "Get in the van and we can go..."
With another sigh, I turn around to face her. "I just want too be alone, mom...nobody is going to want me around anyway..."
"Margaret!" Dad calls out.
"Sweetie...don't talk like that..."
"Just go, mom...I'll be fine okay?"
Mom begins to tear up. "But Jakey...I can't just lt you go...
This honestly really hurts to know at least my mother love me, yet I have to leave her behind. "I'm sorry mom..."
"Jake..."
"Magie!" dad calls out again.
"I love you mom...sometimes you just gotta learn to let go.
Mom sighs heavily and wraps her arms around me. "Just be safe okay?"
I nod. "I know mom...let me go before dad shoots me..."
With teary eyes, mom lets me go and begins to walk back, whereas I continue down the road, rain sagging my fur and clothes. I turn my head back for a moment to see mother crying on her way back to the house. Dad gently holds her his is arms, glaring at me still, th love in his eyes had all but gone, same as the joy that would sparkle in my own.
I feel my ears lower as I turn back, continuing my walking.
I eventually come to the paved road, cars pass by every so often. I don't try to get a ride from any of them either. I have noidea where I'm going, if anybody will help me, or if I will be stuck this way for good. I contemplated going to my girlfriend's, but she'll probably hate me too. As of now I have nobody to turn to, no home, no food.
Nothing.
A while later of walking down this seemingly endless straight road I come to a puddle in the road. Carefuly leaning over, I peer into it, gazing at my new face again. I don't gaze for long as the darkening sky and lack of street lights make it too hard to see. At least the rain stopped a bit ago.
Still walking, an hour later, I spot a town up ahead. I stop dead in my tracks, wondering if I should even go, if a freak like me would even fit in, if anybody would even help me. I doubt anybody would help me in my time of need. Besides mom at least. Speaking of her I bet she's lown up my phone with messages. I decide to check, pulling the wet device from my pocket.
It doesn't even turn on. I limply place it back into my pocket as I lean on the nearby telepone pole, legs hurting from walking so long. Again I move to a sitting position on the grass, not even minding the wetness.
My life is over, why should I care about anything anymore?
Why me?
Exhausted, I decided to take a sit against one of the many telephone poles lining the road. I take a look at my hands...feminine, skinny fingers replace the thicker, stubbier ones I used to have. Nor were my hands covered in a thin coating of midnight black fur. The stress forces them into fists as I find tears creeping into my eyes as I turn my gaze up to the full moon above. I've been rejected and cast off by my own father, and now I'm without a roof over my head, the loss of my dignity and manliness. I've lost it all.
I can't go back to school. They'd just freak out and not even listen to me, and my girlfriend. No chance she'd love me like this even if she knew it was me. I'd text her, but what would I say?
"Hey, babe! I only turned into a freakish, large breasted human horse mutant!"
Besides my phone died about an hour ago.
What hurts the most was seeing my own father point his gun at me. A big blow I'll probably never forget. The image of staring down his double barrel shot gun will haunt me for years to come.
I continue to stare up at the moon, at least glad that monstrosity has been quiet for some time. A few cars go by, I don't care if they see me. Everyone will just hate me in the end.
Eventually it began to rain. I only continued to sit there, even after an hour or so had passed. Or at least it felt like an hour. Probably only twenty minutes. To think this is what's come of me. I had it going great, too! Good grades, all above C's, some cool friends, a part time job and a loving family. Now look at me. As of now, I can only hope this is some on going lucid dream I'm having. Another desperate check brings me to the epiphany of my lost manlihood. Sad I lost even that.
"You know I can hear your every thought, correct?" Came Moon's echoing voice to which I roll my eyes.
"You do know you ruined any chance at a good life I had right?" I snapped back, thunking the back of my head against the pole.
"Yeesh, all you do is whine!"
Getting annoyed quickly, My body forces me to my....hooves and I begin to pace aimlessly, pondering what I should do next. For a while I did this, at least until all the weight of water in my clothes and fur is tiring me out.
"Are you insulting thy soft coat?!"
"Well yeah...I never had to worry about carrying five pounds of water in the fur I used to NOT have!!"
"Oh hush! A shiny coat is what gets a stallion to look at a mare!" Moon responded as I circle around the pole.
"Well, it's not like that here, Moon. Women don't like even a single hair on their bodies except their heads. Plus men want their women shaved."
"Lies! That's just ridiculous!" Moon snorted.
"Then why didn't my mother have fur, hmm?"
Silence...
With a low sigh and quietness again I continue heading down the road in the direction of the next town....since it's where my girlfriend lives. I just hope she'll be able to accept me. I trudge heavily through the muck and rain, each step getting more painful than the last. I got about ten steps when a familiar van rumble came from behind.
"Mother?" I ask automatically, watching as she quickly comes to a stop.
She scrambles out of the car, into the rain and swiftly made her way to me.
"Jake...please...come home..." She sobs, pulling me into a tight hug, despite the fact I'm a literal water faucet. "I can't bear it, knowing you're out here on your own!"
"But mom...dad will shoot me..." I mutter quietly, feeling wrong in saying so since it is no longer my own voice that comes from my mouth.
"Dear, Celestia, I swear all you humans do is cry!" Moon comments, seeming rather annoyed.
"He's gone...he left. W-we got into a fight a-and he just left! He said he's not coming back..."
I sigh, rolling my eyes. "He's said that many times, mom...he's always come back..." I look thinking I'll see my feet, but these soaked, furred breasts prevent me in doing so. Nor would it be feet if they weren't there.
Mother shares the same sigh. "Well...you can tell when somebody means something or not...but he packed a traveling case with clothes and stuff and he just looked...not even like himself he was so angry...he even threw off his ring..." Mom chokes out through her sobs, covering her face with her hands.
I stand there in shocked silence knowing now I'm the reason my parents have suddenly divorced. How can she still love me? Because of me she's lost her husband. Because of Nightmare Moon...everything we've built up as a family has turned to flaming rubble.
"How can you still love me?" I ask aloud accidentally, instantly hating myself for it, turning my head away.
"What? How can I still love you? You're...you're my son...my one and only child..."
"But look at me!!" I snap at her, gesturing to myself. My face. Nightmare Moon's face. "How?! What makes you think I'm even me?! I'm a female freak mutant horse! And because of me, you've lost your husband! I..."
"But you had no control over it, Sweetie! You never intended for this! And of course I know it's you because..." She smiles softly, placing her hands on my cheeks. "I can't exactly explain it, but a mother has a way of sensing these things...and I know it's not you I'm seeing, I know it's you that's in there. Yes, you're a female freak mutant horse as you say, but you're my female freak mutant horse." She smiles more and holds me close. "I love you so...so very much..."
I close my eyes, returning my mother's hug, glad to know she loves me no different, even in this form. "I...I love you too, mom...thank you..."
She kisses my forehead and begins to rub my back. "Let's get out of this rain, huh?"
I give her a slight nod. "That sounds nice."

A new life of hell
Neither ma or I spoke on the way home. I sat there in the front passenger seat, head leaned against my seatbelt strap, staring down at my hands. An endless pang in my chest left me feeling sorrow over the whole ordeal. I was a freak and there was no changing it. Who knows how long it may be until that evil mare leaves my body? Will she even change me back? I'll probably be stuck this way for the rest of my life. A peek into the side view mirror showed not my face, but that monster's. I cringed at the image, balling my hands up as I wrapped my arms around me.
I was cold. The rain left me soaked and shivering, and my mere t-shirt would have done nothing to oppose that. To me it feels like everything is over. I can't go back to school like this, my girlfriend will most likely break up with me, and the loss of my father's care put together had sapped any hope straight out of me. I've all but given up. I don't have the gut to tell mother though, as she might just plunge further into the depressing void like I have.
When we returned home, mother held the door open for me as we walked in. She looked away from me when I met her gaze. These are no longer my eyes she sees. The eyes of Nightmare Moon serve her only as a reminder to the fact I'd never be the same. Nothing will ever be the same again.
I continued on into the house and I silently went up the stairs to the bathroom to dry out my fur. This means I had to get naked again, and doing so left me gagging. I managed to hold it in though as I switched on the light and grabbed a towel from the cupboard by the tub. Due to being so wet, I even got into the tub to dry. I did the best I could to dry off, but in the end, my fur was still a little damp. I was about to leave when the need for pee came again.
So, I took a seat on the toilet, my stubborn mind brining me to test once again if I really lost it. Of course I did since I found nothing down there. The feeling of it coming from another place was all too displeasing.
When I finally left the bathroom, I made sure mother wasn't in the hall and I quickly ducked into my room to get a new set of clothes on. It no longer mattered to me. I just grabbed the first things I could. A black Nike shirt with a blue logo near the collar on the rear side of the shirt and grey shorts that came to my knees. Satisfied I was finally covered up, I could hear mother call my name from the bottom of the stairs.
Trying my best to keep calm about everything, I made my way downstairs where she was. She looked at me with a worry stricken expression and puts a hand to my cheek. I avoid meeting her gaze, rather turning mine to the floor.
"I'm sorry..." I mumble slightly, moving away. "I should have never come home..."
Mother gasps. "Jake...why would you say that?!"
I give a heavy sigh, feeling my equine ears flatten against my skull. "You and dad would still be together, then..."
"And where would you be?" She asks, crossing her arms.
I don't come up with an answer, since I have no idea where I'd go if I went out there like this. I turn away from her, hanging my head. She pulls me close and brings me into a warm hug, turning me back around in the process. She wraps her arms around my neck and lays her head against my shoulder.
"I don't know what I'd do if I lost you...we've lost you father and if you went too...I'd be lonely..." She lifts her head up and looks me in the eye, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I don't care for a second what you are, Jake...you're still my Mr. Snuggle Bear." She giggles, placing her head back on my shoulder.
Gently, I return her hug, having no idea what to say. As of now, I've gotten nothing positive to say about the situation. What do I tell her? I'm a freakish abomination and should just leave? Or maybe that I'll never get anywhere in life like this? How can she be just so easily accepting of this? It makes no sense...
"Oh, it makes perfect sense!" Nightmare Moon chimes in.
"Not in the mood for you!" I growl back at her in my thoughts.
"I give you the body even stallions wish they could possess and this is how you repay me?! Do you not find yourself gawking in the mirror in awe?!"
"No, actually. I will be honest you are quite slim and curvy with a fair size set of breasts, but you're a humanoid horse thing which hacks any beauty out of existence."
"How DARE you!" she gasps.
And that is where I began to ignore her once again.
After a few more moments, mother lets go. "I'm going to make supper, dear. Are you hungry?"
I shake my head. "No. I'm going to sleep. As of now, it's my only escape from the pathetic life I now have." I say glumly, turning back and heading up the stairs before another word can be said.
I head straight to my bed, where I collapse onto the mattress, covering myself with the bed sheets. A last realization over the days occurrences and a few tears, I manage to fall asleep.

When I wake up, all I could feel was a smooth cold surface against my cheek.
"Jake!" Called a voice. "Wake up, Jake!"
"Wha?!" I gasp with a snort, lifting my head up instantly to find...my teach glaring at me? But I know I went to sleep in my bed...
With a quick look around, I find I'm back at school, in my desk when I fell asleep...before the shit hit the fan.
"No sleeping during class," he dead panned before going to his desk.
I looked down at my hands, my white, fur less hands and breastless chest. I lean back in my chair, sighing of relief.
"What a messed up dream!" I thought to myself.
"Oh, really?" came that voice again and suddenly my whole being felt wrong.
My chest felt tight and my enter body felt tingly and my chest began to expand. My jaw dropped and I froze as fur began to sprout all over me. There was a loud tearing should as two, large, black wings erupted from my back.
Laughter. Laughter surrounded me as the others began to notice my warping body.
"Dream on!" said the voice again, only in a much darker tone.
"Simmons!" The teacher snapped. "You're disrupting my class!"
"What a freak!"
"He's growing fur and tits!"
The comments and insults echoed around me, flattening my ears as my body came to finish changing as once again, I was nightmare Moon.
"Nobody is ever going to want THAT!"
"No!" I backed up a few steps, tripping as my shoes fell off my hooves. "L-leave me alone!" I cried as I was now on the floor, the pointing of fingers and lingering under aged teens standing over me as they laughed.
I scrambled back up to my hooves, and I bolted for the door, leaving my things behind.
"Simmons!" The teacher called out again. "Don't you dare leave this class!"
I took one last glance back before taking the knob in my hand and I rushed out into....my girlfriend's living room? A fair modern house with light stone grey painted walls, white floorboards and ceiling. The light above was rather DI'm, more than what I was used to.I stopped, confused as to how I ended up here. I looked back to the door, opening it again to find nothing but a black void of nothingness.
"What the fuck is going on?" I muttered, taking a few steps back. I bumped into something. With a gasp, I whipped around in an instant and she was there...
Little over five feet tall, long auburn silky hair, sapphire blue eyes atop an amazing rack of breasts that were a bit smaller than the ones I sadly currently had.
"Janice..." I mumbled at a loss of words.
"Took you long enough to tell me what's going on," she stated coldly, putting her arms across her chest.
"What...? I..."
She rolled her eyes. "Save it. It's over!" She says with an angry flare in her eyes. "I can't stand just looking at you! Why did I ever agree to be with you?" She sighed, rubbing her temples. "I'm tired of you telling me nothing! Keeping things as secrets from me! And you want me to love you?!"
"Janice...it's not my fault..." I pleaded, taking one of her hands in mine.
She was quick to pull it away. "Nor was it mine! Now get out!" She barked, pointing to the door. I turned back only for a second.
"But..."
"Go!!"
Tears filled my eyes and I was taken back from the sudden snap. She was never like this...
I hung my head. "Fine..."
I turn and head back over to the door. Upon opening it, the same black view came to me. I looked down, wondering how far of a drop it was.
"What are you waiting for? Go!" She stomped over. I turned back to face her and before I could react, she shoved me hard, sending me plummeting into the dark void, watching her snicker down at me before closing the door.
I braced myself for impact, whenever it may be, but I curled up as much as I could. Suddenly the feeling of falling faded and I landed hard on my back. Slowly I sat up and opened my eyes. I was back home, at the bottom of the porch stairs. Dad was there at the top.
He had his gun.
"I thought I told you to never come back, you pathetic whelp!" He snarled through his gritted teeth as he declined the steps.
"Dad, no!" I yelled, as he aimed, right for my head. Just past him, I could see mother on the porch, arms across her chest. She shook her head and tsk tsk'ed.
"Shoot it." She said blankly.
Dad cocked the gun. "With pleasure."
"Noooooo!!!!" I shut my eyes tight.
BANG
He fired.
But I felt no pain.
Just silence.
Slowly, slower than previously, I opened my eyes, my whole being trembling. I was once again in my bed, only not in my room. Fog surrounded me and a cold breeze.
"Having fun?" Came a voice, all too familiar. I knew all too well who it was.
"Why are you doing this to me?!" I pleaded, tears streaming down my cheeks and muzzle. I found my voice to be mine again, but I paid no care, assuming if I'm me again, I'll turn into her yet again.
"Oh, just having a bit of fun." She appeared, standing at the bedside. She smiled at me and wiped my tears with a finger. "Just healing."
I curled up into a ball, sitting up against the headboard of the bed. "You're ruining me..."
Suddenly I felt her arms around me as she pulled me close to her chest. I'll admit her fur was soft and slightly comforting and her breast served as a decent pillow, but I knew she wasn't here to comfort me. She began to stroke my hair as she shushed me.
"I know, but it's all for a good cause, isn't it?" She smiled down at me. I saw no hospitality, only an evil grin behind that fake smile. I'd try and pull away, but what power sis I have over her?
"Not really...if you weren't evil and you asked to use my body that'd be different!"
"Hey!" She rose her voice, using a caring tone. "No need to yell. I know it's rough. But if you behave, I might reward you like I am now."
That's it.
"What's your problem, you crazy, demented, horse fuck?!" I snapped, shoving her off of me as I stood from the bed.
Nightmare Moon gasped at this. "Well look at the stallion who's finally using his balls!" She smiles and stands up in front of me. "And that was mean. You shouldn't be calling other's names like that!"
"Says you who took my body and has taken my life and sliced and diced and cut it up into little pieces! All for what?! Just to fight a foe you have no hope of beating?!"
Moon glared at me for that, taking the collar of my shirt and before I knew it, she pulled me down onto the bed.
"Listen here, runt! You're lucky I let you live! If I could I'd kill you right now!"
I give her a smirk. "But you can't or you're stuck in my body, weak and broken. You'll be nothing without me. You're lucky I don't kill myself!"
"Why you!" She raised a fist, holding me down. I did what I could to prepare for the hit and when it came, I felt nothing. It looked she put all her force into it, too.
"This is a dream. You can't hurt me."
She smirked and moved her muzzle a mere inch from my nose. "So what's killing you in the real world, hmm? You have no Idea the affects I can have on you. When you wake, it'll feel as if somepony had snapped your neck!"
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"You look like a nice stallion, Jake, was it?" She says as she lays herself onto me.
I try to push her off but to no avail. "Yeah..."
"It's been a thousand years since I...you know..."
My eyes went wide. "NO!"
Moon gasped. "No? How can you refuse this?!" She stands and gestures to herself.
"I don't fuck horses."
"I'm a pony."

Moon smiled. "Such a strong language you got there."
"Whatever. Can I wake up now?!"

For what seemed like forever, I was sent to a black void, only this time I wasn't falling. More like floating. But when I came back to, Nightmare Moon was sitting against the headboard next to me, her head on my chest. I looked at the scene. Wet blankets and sheets in a mess, Moon's stomach seemed to have a slight buldge in her stomach area and the aroma smelled of...of...
"That was fun." She whispered into my ear.
Beyond pissed (chapter rewrite)
"You fucking raped me..." I grumbled, shoving the lunar mare off me.
Nightmare glared at me as she stood from the bed. "You should be grateful I even touched you! Any stallion would have been open to-"
"To having sex with a power crazed, delusional, arrogant twat like you?!" I interject, pointing a finger firmly at her. "You sound mighty desperate, let me tell you! You're really just a curious vergin who wants to be with the "in crowd" as they call it. You retarded idea of brining "eternal night" won't get you taken by any human or stallion, especially ME!"
I'm standing now, shoving her every couple seconds, until she fell over from the push as I yelled the last word. She stared dumbfoundedly at me from where she sat on the floor.
"You think you're so mighty and powerful, but if you HAD been, you wouldn't be here! You'd be enjoying your sunless life, now wouldn't you?! Yet you boast about how powerful and attractive you are! Who in the WORLD is going to want to even call YOU a friend after being a controlling, self centered failure, huh?!"
I am now standing over her, clenching my fists.
"You are but a freak, you hear?! You RAPED ME! If you have a baby because of it, I want it! Why? Well, I don't want a child to have to live with an incapable monster such as yourself! He or she would be scared to shits from you! Let me guess, you'd raise the pupil to be just like you as well! Way to go with the bad parenting! Nightmare Moon only shook her head, slowly backing away from me.
"You're lying..."
"You had no care in the world for your sister! Being the ruler of your world, I bet she's a sweet mare! I'm sure she did her best to treat you right, but what you did left her hurting for a thousand years! I couldn't imagine having to banish a relative for that long! Yes your stubbornness to quit trying failed as you tried AGAIN!! You stupid fucking horse bitch, get it through your fucking head!"
By now, tears were streaming down her cheeks as she pleaded for me to end my rage, but I wasn't finished just yet.
"If you maybe ASKED to use my body, I would have conversed about it with my family to let you! I'm a nice guy, and unlike you, I like to help! Yeah I'd be the opposite gender, but I WOULD have willingly helped if you just explained and talked instead of doing the usual taking control! By now, I heavily doubt you've even got a brain in your head! Dye your mane blonde, Nightmare. It would make much more sense. Yeah it would make you uglier, but I don't give a flying FUCK! Now wake me up!"
"I'm sorry..." She squeaked and everything faded from view.
As I woke up, the early morning sun was shining over me from the window above my bed. The first thing I felt was pain. Down there. It hurt to move my legs. Well, at least now I know what I could do to a women IF I WANTED to have sex with said woman.
I simply lay there, staring aimlessly at nothing. I'm not going to go and say my life is a wreck, since I've said it countless times already. I just wanted to know why this was happening to me...why I had to become the unlucky bearer of such a horrid creature. As I mentioned before, if she...I...we end up getting pregnant, I'm keeping the child. Nightmare can't stop me. She can't even have her OWN physical body. If I do end up pregnant...well it's a long nine or more or less months to wait till I birth it. I'm a horse now. I don't know how long the pregnancy will last. But if I have to, I'll deal with Nightmare Moon as long as it takes to get my child.
I roll over onto my back, guessing the time is around six in the morning. Sighing inwardly, I close my eyes, trying to calm down from last night's events. I never knew I had it in me to yell at anybody like that. I guess I can at least thank her for sending me to some other realm in my dream while she did me. Never thought the first thing I'd end up fucking would be a psycho horse mutant. I feel like somebody shoved a POLE up there...it's rather uncomfortable.
Suddenly, three knocks came to my door and it opened slightly.
"Mom?" I ask, still not used to my currently new voice.
She walks in, bags under her eyes as she trudges her feet along the carpeted floor. She sits on my bed.
"I have to go to work early today..." She mutters, and I notice her Burger King uniform on.
"Sorry..."
"I didn't get any sleep...I miss him so much. Also the fact I'm worried out of my mind for you. How did you manage to sleep?"
I let my jaw hang a little open, but I didn't answer, turning my gaze away.
"Sweetie?"
I didn't want to answer. It'll be much harder to tell her I got raped by an alien and possibly impregnated than it was to show her the monster I turned into. You don't hear that coming from guys. A rape and the GUY in the scuffle gets pregnant. Not the best thing in the world. I couldn't lie either. She knows when I lie.
"Jakey, what's wrong?" She puts a hand on my cheek.
I close my mouth.
"Why won't you answer me? Sweetie..." She begins to tear up, and she takes me into her arms. Seeing her tear up causes me to do the same.
"I'm sorry, mom..." I muttered. "I'm sorry..."
Mom begins to run her fingers through my mane. "But why, Jake?"
"That you have to live with the fact your husband left you because I turned into a freak who's going to be stuck indoors all his life now...and there's nothing we can do about it..."
"But it wasn't your fault..."
"Nor was it yours. But look at me, mom!" I pull away from her and I sit up, making sure to not move my legs. "Look at me!" I yelled slightly as the tears began rolling down my face. "How could you want this emotional train wreck of a freak for a son?! I'm pathetic! I have no friends, I'm not on any teams at school, I don't have a job, a girlfriend who'll probably leave me and now I'm stuck here the rest of my life because of that thing that did this to me! I'm nothing! It confuses me how you still love me! I don't know who would WANT to love THIS!" I mourned, gesturing my hands to myself. "I'm not even me anymore!"
"But Jakey...you're my son...I can't just stop loving you...you had no control over it."
"I know." I whispered quietly, staring down at my hands again. "I guess I should get ready for school...if I don't go and try to reason with them, you'll get jail time for truancy since I'm not eighteen yet. That's the last thing you need..."
Mom opens her mouth to say something, but remains quiet.
"I know I mentioned I'd have to stay stuck here...but I can't...unless you...pull me out..."
"I'm pulling you out, then." She says quickly, getting up to leave the room.
I cursed mentally to myself for mentioning that. Now I'll get no education, no diploma, no college, no job...no life. I guess this is it for me. "I should just hang myself..." I blurted out without even thinking it.
Mom stops at the door and turns around.
"What was that?"
Knowing I can't lie, I simply don't answer again, turning my gaze downwards. Not caring anymore, I pull my legs to my chest, lowering my head and wrapping my arms around them, I weep.

I'm thinking I want to make him pregnant...would be a nice twist that would make this more interesting...more chapter after another about the same thing but worded differently will get boring...so adding a baby will be GREAT!!
It's been at least an hour since my mother left, and I've not moved from my bed. I laid there, staring at my four walls. I've plugged my phone into the charger on the wall. I still dare to see what messages I have. Probably angered ones from Janice since it's been nearly a full twenty four hours I last texted her, and we talk CONSTANTLY. Moon hasn't said a single thing to me since my blow up at her. She had it coming. I hate her. What she's done to me. She's ruined everything.
With a sigh, I gazed down at my breasts. Curiously, I ran my fingers through the patch of fur, finding it rather soft. It felt a little nice too. I began to gently stroke said bit of fur at a constant rate as I thought about everything. Anything really. I had plans yesterday. I was going to go to Janice's to maybe play some COD or Minecraft and finish our belt fed tnt Gatling gun. Yeah, we were gamers. It's rare you find a girl who's into games just as much as you are, and for her to actually be good at them. I don't think she'd want to be next to me on the couch now the way I am. I wish I wasn't so scared to tell her.
I watched as my mane flowed before me, even though there was no wind to make it blow.
I took my phone in my other hand, turning it on. 8:43am said the clock. Next to it was a speech bubble with a 12 by it. I sighed heavily, opening up my messages, all from Janice.
Janice: Hey, baby! Just wondering what you're doing after school today?
Sent: 1:23pm yesterday
That was the first message.
Janice: Baby? Why aren't you answering me? Is something wrong?
Sent: 7:54pm yesterday
This was the eighth.
Janice: Fine. I see you don't want to talk to me. Guess I don't matter anymore...
Sent: 11:34pm yesterday
And that was the last. I don't know if that counts as a break up or not. Still petting my fur, I began to type a reply with the other hand.
You: Hey, Janice, I'm sorry I didn't answer. I was out and about and my phone died. I didn't have my cord either. Please don't be mad...
Sent: Just now
I turned the phone off and set it down on my stomach.
At least mother still loves me.
Taking a deep breath, I get up from the bed, slowly, since my legs and lower area still hurt. I trudged into the bathroom, taking my phone in case Janice were to reply.

I rolled my eyes at my own statement as I sat down on the toilet and began to read the message.

After I finished my business, I wiped myself off, since last time I got a little wet. Having fur tends to soak that up. Having hooves allowed me to walk over the broken glass, since yesterday, I broke the mirror from yelling. My life has become quite the mess.
So, I go back to petting myself as I head downstairs to have some cereal and make my morning as normal as possible. I head into the kitchen, the vibrant yellow orange paint, black marble tops for the oak wood counters that covered each wall of the kitchen. Well, except for where the fridge and stove were.
BLING
I stop at the fridge to take out my phone.
Janice: Okay, fine. But why aren't you in school today?
Sent: Just now.
You: Come to my place after, and you'll see. I just hope you'll still love me when you see.
Sent: Just now.
"Do you love her?" asked Moon.
"No shit, Miss Shit for brains." I Deadpan, getting the milk from the fridge.
"I'm sorry, okay?! I didn't know what I was doing! You...have helped me realize that...nopony has yelled at me since I was a foal..."
I rolled my eyes as I grabbed the box of LIFE cereal next to the fridge on the counter. I poured cereal to fill about two thirds of a bowl I grabbed from the cupboard. "Whatever."
"I see now what I've done. I'm sorry, Jake...I really am."
"Sure you are." I responded, pouring milk into my cereal. "Then leave. Turn me back and just leave."
"I can't. It took a whole lot out of me to get inside you. It'll be at least a year before I can leave you and be revived fully."
"So I'm stuck being you for a whole year?!" I asked angrily, slamming the fridge shut.
"I'm sorry...
I didn't answer as I began to eat right there. I noticed a pair of scissors on the counter.
"Perfect."
Momentarily, I removed my shirt, and in the backside, I made two long slits before putting it back on. I moved my wings out through the slits, giving a sigh of relief.
"Much better..."
"BLING"
I didn't even bother to answer as I was too busy stretching my aching wings. I give the, a few, slow test flaps. I couldn't help but smile at them. I've always wanted wings, and these are so big! The tops of them are a little higher than my head, and the lowest feather nearly touches the ground! At least something good came from this transformation. I should try and fly sometime.
Folding them back against my back, I finished up my cereal and I left to the living room. The walls here were of a light green paint, one section of the wall being covered top to bottom in family photos. Against the large window, sat a long white couch, a glass coffee table in front, and a smaller couch facing the table from a ninety degree angle compared to the first couch. The wall opposite the large couch hung a large flat screen T.V from the wall, and under it, an entertainment shelf which contained movies, PS3 games, and the PS3 for them on top of the shelf.
To think this is where we've spent many memories as a family. Christmas, birthdays, watching football games, playing COD and Minecraft with Janice and my dad. Mom and I would watch new movies from Family Video here when it was just us. Being an only child, I remember the lonely times I had as well, before I was in school. Dad would be working and mom would clean before she got a job at Burger King. I would sit here, playing with Hot Wheels cars or Legos. Few times I asked if mom and dad could have a little sister for me to play with. I was broken hearted when they said no. They couldn't afford it. I had no friends at the time either, so I was often by myself.
I went over to the pictures, looking upon every one of them. Any that had me in them, I could clearly remember what had happened. A photo of me winning the third grade soccer team tournament, where dad held me high as I held my trophy. Sadly, it was burnt up in the fire that took place in our previous home. Another picture illustrated me and dad fishing. It was a simple picture of the three of us in a boat, smiling to the camera. So many pictures of precious memories. The realization of my current situation taking that all away from me left a sharp pang in my chest. It hurts to know the least thing my dad did was point a gun at me. The thought made me tear up.
Turning my gaze to the floor, I went over and sat on the larger couch to lay down.
I've turned into a freak.
My dad hates me.
Janice will probably break up with me.
I can't go back to school.
I've been raped.
What else could possibly happen? Maybe Celestia find me, thinks I'm Nightmare Moon and I get sent to the moon for a thousand years? Well, I'm sure suicide would be the only cure for that. I wonder how sad mom would be. Mentioning I'd hang myself really upset her. She slapped me at first, then held me and for a good ten minutes she said nothing as she cried into my shoulder.
I took out my phone to check my texts.
Janice: Okay. I'm not even going to ask, but I'll be there around four.
Sent: Three minutes ago.
I sent her a simple ok and set my phone on the table. I rolled onto my back, and began petting my chest once more, staring up at the white ceiling. I really need a miracle to help me through this. Anything. I can't do this on my own.
"So...you're telling me I'm a noob, when it's clear I won the match?" I asked the raging twelve year old who just lost to me on a Demolition match on Call of Duty Black Ops 2.
"You cheated!" his high pitched voice screamed.
I tilted my head in question as the next match began. "How was it cheating, when I shot your friggin head with my Ballista?"
"There's no way you no scoped it, though!" He whined.
"Yes, it's highly unlikely, but that doesn't make it impossible. You startled me. Don't do that. The result was your death."
I could hear him growling in anger. "Noob."
"Hmm. Let's agree your assumption of me being a noob is correct for a moment, okay? I won fair and square, correct? Yes. So, if I'm the noob and I won...what does that make you?"
"Fuck you." He mumbled.
"No thanks!" I shook my head, choosing my class as the next round began.
I spawned with my ACOG Ballista with a silencer and FMJ. Yeah. I put an ACOG on a sniper rifle. I don't like camping and picking off players. I like to be out in the action! The ACOG allows me to use my favorite weapon in the field. Funny. A pony playing Call of Duty. A smirk spread across my muzzle as I sat back on the couch, fully extending my wings along its length.
I switched weapons to my double Tac-45's, equipped with FMJ and silencers. Two shots to the chest it takes from one, so having two means I only need to aim and press both R1 and L1 once and my victim will fall. Having two also doubles rate of fire. Pressing said buttons one after the other makes them like a machine gun. Being pistols, they don't have much recoil, are lightweight and quick to reload. Basically, it's the best gun in the game. Yeah. A pistol.
"Time to pony up and kick some flanks!" I thought to myself. I'm trying to not be so bummed out, so I'm making jokes about my situation to hopefully cheer myself up. I did come to find I like wagging my new tail, though. Who wouldn't?
With my team, I ran across the yard, up the stairs and to the purple bedroom of the blue house. I'm playing on Nuketown. I get to the corner of the window and crouch down, aiming down past the red car behind the semi. Two tangos running along the house are about to die. I take steady breaths, moving my crosshairs over to one of them. I don't try and be cool getting head shots. I don't care where I shoot a guy as long as I'm the one who survives the scuffle.
They both go crouching behind the red car, an unlucky team member wanders out, oblivious to their position. He's quickly wiped out, sprayed and turned into Swiss cheese. I put my crosshairs over the first guy, lining up with the other next to him.
POW!!
I fired, and they both went down. I smiled myself a job well done, wagging my tail with excitement. I think I'm starting to accept this new body. I mean, I've got wings! A tail! A horn I can probably do sick magic with! The only downside really is that I'm female. Other than that, I think I'm starting to like this.
So, with those two tangoes down, I turned to my left, pulling out my pistols. It's a short length over here and the ACOG obstructs your view, so it'd really only get in the way. Now that the glass is broken, I simple jumped out, landed without damage. The lightweight perk really comes in handy! So, instead of running out Wiley like everybody does, I go slow, taking my time, being cautious. I walk along the space between the bus and the semi, heading towards the orange house. I'm crouched down, stealthy and invisible.
The same pair of tangoes pass right by me. I don't fire. Quick and swift, Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, I ran and dove behind the car in the driveway. Another tango passes by. I head around to the back of the house -- the backyard where these bums spawn. One runs right for me. It takes him a while to notice, but by the time he does, I've got him dead.
"Hacker!" yelled a more grown up voice in relation to the twelve year old from before.
"How is that?" I asked, giving my chest a few gentle strokes. Yeah, I like petting myself. Leave me be. Until you grow fur and have yourself pet, then you'll realize why animals love it so much!
"There's no way in hell you shot me ONCE with THOSE!" he accused, another ranger, mad he was ssskilled. Heh. Skill and killed.
"Buddy, these are Tac-45's. I've got FMJ on them, and it only takes two shots in the chest to kill a player. I have dual pistols as you saw in your death cam. That means two shots, meaning I only have to fire once. Try it yourself. You'll be amazed."
"Whatever, hacker." He grumbled and nothing more was said.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
Lifting my right hand up, I check my watch.
4:22pm the time read.
Turning off the system and t.v, I took a deep breath. It was Janice. I turn to check out the window, and sure shittin it was her. Suddenly all the depressing thoughts came back. What if she doesn't believe me? What if she does and leaves me? How will she react? Will she still love me? Probably not.
With a heavy sigh, I got up onto my hooves, and made my way to the foyer. The closed curtains over the door window concealed me from her. The doorbell rang again, and I unlocked the door. I gripped the door handle with my shaking hand. My breath was accelerating, much like my heartbeat. The love of my life was on the other side of this door.
Here I am again, hoping fate will deal me the right cards when I open this door. I creak it open a little. I can feel myself getting teary eyed. If I lose her...what's there to live for? I don't want the title of "Turning into a humanoid pony of the opposite gender with no schooling, no job, no money and lives with his mother."
Pathetic, right?
Mustering up as much courage as I can, I open the door fully.
"Uuhhhh...." Janice uuh'ed. "Nice...costume?"
Costume?! I wish.
I try to speak, but the stress gets out before my words do, and I find myself falling to my knees, weeping right in front of her. I lower my head, my hand still on the handle, the other limp at my side.
"Please don't leave me..." I mumbled through my sobs as tears fell from my cheeks. "Please don't leave me..."
"Is this some kind of....trick?" She asks, stepping back a little.
I shake my head, my ears fall down and my jaw quivers.
"I'm...just gonna go..."
"No!" I snap, turning my head up to look at her. Slow and wobbly I stand up again. "Just let me explain!"
"Okay..."
I take another deep breath.
"So...I was sleeping...in class right? Algebra class. I...I h-had this fucked up dream...this..c-creature was there...and she asked for a f-favor."
"Go on."
"What you see now...is what she was...and...when I woke up...I began turning into her! I...I ran from school, and ran all the way here! Can you believe it?! I laid in my bed, watching my man hood disappear from me!" I yelled, tears still streaming. "D-dad c-came home a bit later...he'd found out I ran from school and...I...I tried to tell him, but...he went and pointed his gun at me! My own father! Threatening to SHOOT me!"
I continued to sob, taking deep breaths.
"He kicked me out! I was in the pouring rain then for five HOURS!! I was headed to your place...so maybe I could tell you then...but mom found me...luckily she believes me. She brought me home and I just went to bed. The thing that did this to me...she gave me nightmares! Where dad shot me, you broke up with me, I woke up in school like this...it was horrible! And it gets better too! And by better I mean worse! She came to me again! She...she...she RAPED me!! I got raped by THIS!" I cried, gesturing to myself.
I was completely losing it.
"When I woke up...mom came to check on me...she's...pulling me out of school. Also because of this, I can't go to work...I can't even call in! I don't sound like me anymore! That's it pretty much! How my life has become so fucked up in just twenty four hours! Can you believe it?"
She stood there, her mouth slightly open, just staring.
"Janice...?"
She closed her mouth, swallowed, then lowered her head, turning she walked down the porch steps,
"Where are you going?!"
She turned and sighed. "Turns out my boyfriend had turned into I don't even know what! He's now an emotional wreck, and quite frankly, I'm not into females! You aren't you anymore! Physically or mentally! I...I don't see myself being with you...like this...I'm sorry..."
"Janice...no...I need you!" I pleaded, following. I attempt to hold her hands, but she pulls away.
"It's over, Jake! Until you can fix this...I can't do this............goodbye..."
"Janice, please! I've been through enough as it is! It's obvious I need you! But I guess...oh, me being female is too much to take! Are you the one who gender swapped, got raped, threatened to be shot, and has now no reason for even living! Are you serious?! I thought you said no matter what you'd be there for me and I would for you! What happened to that?! Huh?!"
She looked at me for a moment, then shook her head and began walking away again.
So this was it. I've lost everything.
I stood there, watching her walk down the road, not even looking back. She doesn't even stop. I stood there till she was out of sight. She's gone. The love of my life.
My breathing became choppy and I went back up onto the porch. My legs suddenly felt weak and they gave out on me. Just like her, my father. I have nothing.
I sit against the wall, crying again. I pull my legs to my chest, resting my forehead on my knees.
I give up.
Quickly, I checked the time on my watch as I drove.
5:34pm it read. I'm getting home much later than I had hoped. I had to cover another workers shift until she arrived. I have no clue what happened to him, but at least I can go home now.
As fast as I can, without exceeding the speed limit, I maneuver through the cars along the highway, rushing to get home. I hated leaving the house now, knowing my Jakey is depressed at home. This new form he's somehow taken has left him with auicidal thoughts. What he said this morning made me feel as if somebody had driven a knife straight through my heart. My own son wishing he were dead over something he had no control over.
My eyes tear up at the thoughts. Thoughts that have been haunting me since the moment he said those words. Not only that, but the fact my husband, his father has left us because of it. I can't think about that now. There's more important things to worry about. Harold leaving isn't one of them. The only thing I could care about now, is getting home to my son. He needs me.
Suddenly, some idiot driver in one of those new Corvettes screams past me, merging into my lane, cutting me off.
"Get off the road, you moron!" I yelled out the window. "Stupid sports car owners. Just wait till his antics get him in the hospital and his car in the scrap yard!" I chuckled to myself, pulling into the off ramp. Yes, from the middle lane, skipping the right side lane. It was a rather, illegal and sudden turn, but what do I care?
Now down the road that leads to home, with hardly any cars, I floor it, although it hardly helps when I'm driving a minivan. At least that tiny turbo Harold installed helped a bit. Why he bought that for the van left me clueless.
Reaching up to 88mph, you'd expect to go back or forward into time if you were driving the Delorean from "Back to The Future," but I'm only continuing to speed up. Heh. This van is faster than that thing. A car that can travel though time, but takes a whole minute to reach sixty! Weird.
Without even using my blinker, I passed other cars, scarce as they may be. Just ahead I could see the bend that went left, telling me I was almost home. For the turn I slowed to fifty, going to the right side of the road, and knowing a few tricks or two, I came in for a wide turn around the bend, meaning I could even speed up if I wanted, but the turn off for home was right after the bend. The dirt road lifted my spirits as it came into sight, slowing down more. This is no off-road vehicle, meaning the wet and soggy dirt from yesterday's rain would cause me to slip and slide.
I came into a rather quick stop, hurrying to get my belt off and open the door as I did. I ran out of the van and up the the front door, to my surprise was wide open.
"Jakey!" I called out one inside. "I'm home!"
Maybe he's sleeping, so I went up the stairs and to the right down the hall and into his room.
"Jakey!"
Empty.
"Jake, where are you?!"
Now I was getting worried. Next, I went to check the bathroom. I threw open the door, finding he wasn't inside. There, I found the mirror, lights and ansy thing else glass were shattered, minus the window at least.
What if somebody broke in?
I then checked my room, to find it empty. By now, I'm sure he'd have answered me. I headed downstairs to the back door, and ran outside. I looked around seeing no sign of him. I then darted across the yard and into the trees, down the path that lead to the large lake. I should have taken a flashlight, the sun is almost gone and it's getting dark.
Soon enough, I arrived at the lake, the full moon above shining down on it. I looked across, then to my left. Nothing. Then I turned to my right.
"Jakey..." I sighed in relief. His starry mane and tail shown brightly, back turned to me from the tree trunk he sat on. I took a heavy breath, allowing my pounding heart to rest as I slowly approached him. "Jakey, I'm home."
He doesn't answer.
"Jakey?"
I put a hand on his shoulder. He turns his head to me, his slitted eyes gazing into mine.
"Mom...why didn't it work?" He whispered softly, his voice raspy.
This confused me.
"What do you mean? What didn't work?"
He then looked down and turned to me.
"JAKEY!" I gasped, falling back.
He had a knife in his chest.
"Why didn't it work?" He asked again.
I then felt the ground was was. I looked at my hand and saw blood.
Slowly, I stood up, my breaths choppy. I tried to speak, but I couldn't. My son sat before me with a knife in his CHEST! His white shirt was soaked red with blood.
"Mom?"
I took a deep breath again, walking up to him once more. Slowly, with a shaking hand and trembling knees, I took hold of the handle. I swallowed.
"I-I'm going to take it out...okay?"
"Don't..." He muttered, tears streaming down his cheeks. "It'll hurt..."
"But it has to come out, sweetie..."
He was quiet for a moment, then nodded slowly.
A few more deep breaths later, I wrapped both my hands firmly around the handle.
"I don't want you to take it out...please don't..."
"But you just..."
He looked up to me with weeping eyes. "Please..."
"No. It's coming out." I said firmly, pulling it, angling it upwards in the slightest to avoid cutting him more. It refused to budge at first, but at an instant, it pulled out, long and bloody.
"I'm sorry, mommy...I didn't...I just..."
I dropped the knife and pulled Jake into a hug, unable to fight the tears, and they suddenly began to flow.

Little Slivers of Life
I could no longer look into my mother's eyes, but merely watch as she wrapped bandages around my chest. It hurt to breath with this hole in my chest. The hole itself stang and ached, throbbing and burning. A few tears would find their way out of my eyes every few seconds, dripping down to the floor below. I've let everybody down. It hurt to see mom's eyes when she saw me...with the knife deep in my chest. The tip barely made its way out of my backside.
I just couldn't help it. Everybody and everything I loved are gone, whatever sanity and pride I had left had seeped away with the blood that leaked from my wound. It just seemed to be...the only cure...the only way to end the pain. How mother loves me still...I don't know. I'm just a burden on her life now. Because of my, dad is gone, she has to now work over time, and because of me...she's struggling. If only I hadn't of came home...if only the stab had killed me...she wouldn't have to worry anymore.
She helped me slip another shirt on, one not soaked with the blood of my failed suicide attempt. She raised my chin to look at her. I momentary glimpse showed me how stressed she was. She seemed on the verge of tears as another slipped from my right eye. I quickly looked away, staring down at the floor. Neither of us had said a thing yet. I closed my eyes, wishing I could just get away from all of this. In just three days...look at what's come of my life.
My mind was on replay. It happened over and over, I watched myself drive a knife through my own body. I thought that would have been it. I could be in heaven with my grandmother, but instead, I found myself watching my shirt become red as I sat on that tree trunk for a half hour at least. I had completely given up on everything. There's no apologizing for this. How could anybody forgive me? Now, a memory of seeing me alone, bleeding, impaled with a knife has been burned into my mother's brain.
Mother hugged me.
Mother cried.
She still loves me. I guess that's just one good thing among everything else. I remained still. I would return her hug and cries, but I've got no more tears to cry, nor do I feel I deserve her love. I felt like pushing her off...but I don't want her to hurt anymore. I've caused her more than enough pain by just being here. I wish I could just...disappear.
So, I stared up at the ceiling light which lit the bathroom rather well. Mother had cleaned up the mess I made with my screaming. What did I even do to deserve this sorrow? Did I do something so bad that Karma felt this was the only way to punish me? I wish I knew, but as of now...I knew nothing. I knew the simple fact I'd never see my love again. I knew my father might never return. I knew school was out of the question for me now. I'm stuck here.
As mother finishes her sobbing, she stand again, gazing into my eyes. I gazed down at my hands, covered in black fur.
I sighed lightly and moved past mother. I left the bathroom and trudged into my room where I closed the door and once again I flopped myself down onto my bed, facing the wall. I then pulled the covers over myself, rocking slightly. Tears continued streaming down my cheeks, wetting my pillow and bed sheet. I've become a freak, my life has become shit and there isn't a single thing I can do to fix it. What would even be the point in trying?
I sighed, curling up into a ball.
"I'm sorry, mommy..." I mumbled to myself, closing my eyes. "I'm so sorry..."
I shed another tear as I fell into sleep another ten or so minutes later.

Next I woke up, I came to see the very familiar fog surrounding me and my bed. It was cold and I simply lay there, waiting for it to happen again. I don't care anymore. She can do what she wants. She can go fuck herself, mostly.
I roll over onto my right side staring at my hand. Or at least the hand I used to have. It stung me in the chest to see myself like this. I don't want to be depressed, but it's hard when I've lost everything dear to me. All I can do now is wait for one year to pass and maybe I'll get my life back. Who knows? Maybe I can forget my father aiming his gun at me, since that's what's killing me the most. Not only that, now I have to think about my mother's face when she saw me with a knife in me.
Restless now, I sat up against the headboard and fumbled and fiddled with my fingers. A few times out of boredom I smacked my lips. I'm trying to fight this, honestly. I mean...I even started to like my new body, but then Janice happened. Thanks to her, I hate myself all over again. I went to pet my chest, but silly me forgot I'm me in these dreams and I don't have fur. Oh well, no biggie.
The clopping of hooves sounded off short into the distance, slowly making their way to me. She's coming and I'll have to deal with her presence. Another rape? Maybe more trash talk and insults? I don't care. I just want to wake up.
I turned around momentarily to lift my pillow up, so it could rest on top of the headboard. Gently, I laid my head against it and turned back around. Sadly, she was there, about ten feet away. Only...she looked upset in a sad way. I merely watched her as she stood there for a few seconds. Slowly, she approached the right side of my bed, her gaze towards the floor as she sat down. She seemed to be taking slow, deep breaths, her ears flicking this way and that.
All was silent as she never turned to look at me. She only gazed down upon her hands.
I decided to break said silence.
"What do you want?" I asked rather firmly.
"To go back home...and apologize...for what I've done..." she said softly, mere milli seconds after I had finished. "And to apologize to you, Jake."
"Bullshit."
She turned and glared at me. "I'm serious!! It's killing me inside!"
"Heh. YOU think you're dying inside?! Try living through the shit you've done to me!!" I snapped, slamming a fist down on the bed.
"Or, maybe try being me and being banished on a bucking rock for a thousand years!!" she yelled right back, a tear fell from her right eye. She sighed heavily and slowly. "I am sorry, Jake! I truly am! And since I've been a part of you now, I see all and hear all you do! It's me Whoes caused you this pain and...I don't even know if I can fix it."
"That was your own mistake you were banished! I did nothing to deserve what you've done to me!"
"You don't think I know that?! Because of you...I've come to realize the error of my ways! I...I can't just...force the night or try and claim ultimate power of worlds like I wanted."
I rolled m pay eyes and crossed my arms. "You didn't think that when you took away my body."
Moon groaned. "I wasn't thinking then! I...I was jealous! Everypony would bask in the light of the sun every day, Jake! They all loved my sister's sun and it's bright and shining glory! But as night fell, they all slept! Just like you do! I...I wanted them to enjoy my night...to play and frolic, but they never did! Even now they sleep during the night! I...Luna...we became so jealous...mostly me...I took over her body and...kept her prisoner in her own mind."
"Go on."
"So...I battled Celestia...I lost of course because she used the elements of harmony on me, six items that when combined, they make the strongest power in Equestria. I was a fool to think my simple magic could best them. My foolishness led me to be a prisoner on my own moon."
"And you were there for a thousand years. Then what?"
She sighed. "I came back, still in a rage, thinking I might prevail, but then six ponies came along. They each came to bear the elements and they used them on me. It split me and Luna apart. She wasn't harmed, but I was nearly wiped from existence as I was flung across the galaxy. Then I found you. A strong...noble person. A kind heart, and a caring personality. I saw you as easy pickings. But it seems I was wrong. I've done you so much pain I can apologize all I want...but I can do nothing to show for it." Nightmare Moon slowly reached a hand out to me and laid it on my shoulder.
"You can choose to believe what you want, Jake...but I'm just so...so sorry!" she buried her face into my chest, wrapping her arms around me as she began to cry. It wasn't long before her tears soaked through my shirt. "You attempted suicide because of me! I knew there was no chance you'd die, but the general fact you gave up on living because of my arrogance is more than I can bear!"
I said nothing. I was truly shocked. Here she was, the cause to all my stress and pain, seeming to be a merciless villain is crying into me. I couldn't help it as I too began to mourn, wrapping my arms around her as well.
"I can say I'm sorry, but I will never ask you to forgive me. I expect you won't and that's fine...just..." she began to trail off.
"W-what?" I managed to respond through my sobs.
"Try and be strong...I don't want you to hurt anymore because of me...I've been too stupid to realize what I've been doing. You'd think after the longest jail time ever, one would learn from their mistakes...but not me...I have you to thank for helping me see the right way, Jake...I...Thank you." she says softly, tightening her hug.
Being me, I adjusted us both to be more comfortable, her laying half on top of me, her tail wrapped around my right leg, her arms and wings around me.
"You're welcome...I guess..."
"....Jake?" Nightmare Moon looks up at me, I wipe a tear from her cheek.
"Yeah?"
"I...I'm sorry...for...our last encounter. There is a chance you may become pregnant. You see...when an alicorn and a non alicorn go at it...there's a chance the non alicorn can have real life results. You are originally are human, and since you're female now...you know..."
"Yeah, I figured that."
"I want you to have the baby. If it happens. I couldn't possibly be a good mother. You on the other hand...you're kind and caring...it confuses me why you're holding me. But...if you do get pregnant..."
"We will have to come to terms and raise it. As much as I don't like you at the moment, I can't take your baby from you." I finished for her.
"Jake...that's the coldest...yet nicest thing anypony has ever said to me..."
I chuckled lightly. "I guess."
Nightmare Moon yawned heavily, laying her head back on my chest and closes her eyes. "Too comfy to move." she says quietly.
As angry as I am, her cuteness seemed to overpower my anger, and I held her closer, stroking her mane gently. Soon enough she'd fallen asleep on me, and I simply sat there, thinking.
Maybe I could text Janice and ask her to come over. If she even agrees to it. I could tell her it'll be a year and I'll change back, and maybe we could be together again. I could try and get dad to understand as well. It's just a year...why should I even be upset? I can go back to school then, and my life might possibly return to normal. The possibility of a baby as well now comes into play.
I looked at Moon, her mouth slightly open as she breathed lightly. She seemed rather content. She smiled lightly, and nuzzled my chest in her sleep. Maybe...maybe if things do go back to the way they were...I could forgive her. No doubt now she's really sorry for what she's done. If I do end up having a baby...we could raise and maybe this mare could become family even.
Why am I even considering this? Well, in a year, she'll leave my body, and I'll be me again. Why be upset about this body if it isn't permanent? It's causing all the problems, but after a year, Janice and dad might come back. I'm hoping and praying they do. If not...then I guess I'll just have to adjust to a life without her or a father. Janice...I might get over, but my dad? It'll hurt me for the rest of my life, but I'll have to accept it and move on.
In the end of it all, I at least want a baby. Strange as it may seem, the thought of it makes me smile.
I want to have a baby.
I should be hating her, right? Normally when a person or...a strangely attractive humanoid pony ruins your life you'd hate them right? Does it mean you should?
I couldn't take my eyes of the mare sleeping in my arms. She seemed so content as of now, her head on my chest, arms around my neck. I held her close, my mind at war with itself again. Half of me wants to wring her neck, yet the other half wants me to forgive her and keep her close. She's apologized and bawled into my chest for crying out loud!

A mare who went great lengths to take control over an entire world, yet begs me of all people for forgiveness. She wouldn't have allowed herself to fall asleep on me if she hadn't of meant it. I could tell she's probably having the most restful nap she's had in possibly a long time. She's evil to the core you may think, but as Tadashi Hamada says from "Big Hero 6," "Look for a different angle," I see a pony who is hurt and deep inside wishes she had a friend. She's misunderstood and lacks a physical body for her own use as of now.
It's saddening, really. To think a bit of jealousy has ended up with her here in my world.
A low sigh escaped my lips as I gently scratched my fingers into the fur along her back, causing Moon to purr much like a cat.
Didn't know ponies could do that...
Then again, she's an alien. I wouldn't be surprised if she chased cars and mailmen. That got me to chuckle slightly as I smiled slightly at the sleeping mare. I want to help her, I really do, but then again, I just want to tell her to hit the road and leave my body. Since I can't decide, I'll just allow her to stay for now.
Gently, I stroked her mane, a small smile appearing on Moon's lips as she nuzzles my chest. What surprised me was each time I removed my fingers to start again, it was as if her mane was trying to pull my fingers back in. The starry ethereal made wrapped around my fingers. She purred a little louder, the vibrations going through my body. Her tail swayed slowly back and forth across the bed.
Her right hand slid from my shoulder to my chest, her other falling down to the bed, which told me she was now in a deep sleep. I wonder what she's dreaming of during this dream. To be honest, I hope it's something nice. She too at least deserves a well rest of sleep.
"Sleep well." I whispered quietly into her ear which flicked from the impact of my breath.
Her smile increased some more as she pulled her right arm next to her. It was cute and all, but what surprised me is when she grabbed my hand. A small blush appeared on my cheeks, but I know the moment she wakes she'll have herself a little freak out. I turned my hand over, holding her hand in return. She murmured quietly, tightening her grip.
She stirred a little, curling up into me, moving her head to my shoulder, burying her face into my neck, her wings splaying out to the sides.
I smiled a little more as well, wrapping my arms around this beautiful mare at her waist, just under her massive wings. I know it may see, a bit unsettling I'm actually allowing this, but I honestly don't want to hate her. I don't like hating people. It'll make me want her gone even more, which will stress me out further. But, if I hope we can come to terms with this situation, things could possibly get better. It's not a bad thing I'm trying is it? It's better than shoving knives into my chest, that's for sure. Even though my life has taken a one-eighty, I'd rather her be a friend than an enemy.
With a smile, I gently nuzzle her cheek, her purring right in my ear puts me at ease.
Normally, it would take a person a while she think this way, but stabbing myself made me realize things will only get worse if I allow them to. The stab didn't kill me. Instead, it made me stronger and when I wake up, I'm going to smile, tell my mother I love her and go on with my day as if I were still human. I'm done being depressed.
Closing my eyes, I keep Moon close to me.
Moments go by as I hold her in my arms, enjoying the sound of her purrs and murmurs.
"Jake?" Came Moon's voice after about five minutes later.
"Yeah?" I ask softly, gently sunning my fingers through her ethereal mane.
"I'm sorry...for everything...I wish I could fix it all...maybe go back in time and ask to use your body instead...but I can't." she says defeatedly, moving off of me and sits up. "And I'm sorry if it bothered you I fell asleep on you."
With a smile, I place my hand on Nightmare Moon's shoulder. "Look at me." I lift her chin, gazing into those beautiful slitted teal eyes of hers. "I forgive you." I smile at her softly, moving my hand to her cheek. "It's okay, Moon."
Looking down she removes my hand from her cheek. "You should hate me..."
"But I don't. Although part of me does, a larger portion has grown to forgive you and I do. I figured if I just let myself waste away...I'd only get worse...like...stabbing myself..."
Moon looked further down, shutting her eyes. "Can we not talk about that? It kills me that my intentions led you to do such a thing."
"Which is why I want us to be friends. If we're not fighting or hating each other, or trying to be the dominant one, there will be no fighting and who knows? Maybe things will get better, Moon."
Nightmare Moon turned her eyes back up to me, a blush upon her black furred cheeks. "You...really want to be friends with...me?"
I nod, pulling her close, wrapping my arms around her again. "Im positive."
Moon began purring again as she laid her head on my chest. "Thank you, Jake. That means a lot to me. I've never had a friend before..."
"Nobody really understands you from my knowledge, so I took the time to do what even your sister failed to do. I'd be glad to be your friend, Moonie."
"Moonie? That's cute."
"This is a good dream, so I won't be calling you Nightmare Moon anymore. It just seems wrong. How about Midnight Moon? Sounds more subtle and friendly, doesn't it?"
Moon giggles and nods, purring still. "I like that name."
"And Moonie could be like a nickname!"
"It's settled then. My new name is Midnight Moon."
Scratching my fingers into her fur again I smile. "Nice to meet you, Midnight Moon."
Midnight Moon smiled up at me. "Nice to meet you too, Jake. Thanks for all you've done, despite what I've done to you..."
"You can repay me by being my friend."
She nods. "I'd be more than happy to be friends with you, Jake."
I take her hand in mine again and I nuzzle her cheek. "When you've recovered and can leave my body, I'll try and convince my mom to let you stay with us. I don't want you going back to a world where you're mistreated."
"I'm not going back. Equestria isn't important anymore. What would be the point in ruling over a world that hates me? Even if I go back...just to go back, I'd probably be thrown in prison. I'm better off staying with somepony I can trust. That's you, Jake. I want to stay..."
"If my mother allows it."
"But if not? Where will I go?" Midnight Moon tears up, hugging my arm.
I gave off a little chuckle, rubbing her cheek lightly with my thumb. "You won't go anywhere. I'll see to it she lets you stay."
Moon smiled, nuzzling my chest. "Thank you, Jake. I'm glad we're friends."
"Me too, Moonie. Also, I'm sorry for insulting you before...you're actually a rather pretty mare." I blushed, moving some of her mane out of her eyes.
"Even though I'm covered in fur, unlike your species females? You went on about how it's such a deal breaker." Midnight Moon smirked at me.
I rolled my eyes at that statement. "Things change, alright? I like your fur. It's soft and really floofy!"
Midnight Moon smiled and nuzzles her cheek into my neck. "A thousand years without trimming can be the cause of that. Normally, you could barely tell a pony had fur, but with me, it's as obvious as a wolf's pelt."
"You look cute fluffy."
Midnight Moon blushed. "Maybe I'll leave it un trimmed since you like it. It would be a hassle anyway to trim so much fur."
I nodded, gently running my fingers through the patch of fur on her chest. "I'd like that."
"Did you hold me the entire time I slept?
"I did." I responded with a smile, holding Midnight Moon tighter and closer. "You seemed to be enjoying your sleep. What did you dream about?"
"Well...I dreamt I was Luna and a filly again, running through the halls of Canterlot Castle with my sister. We were playing tag."
"That's cute!"
She nodded. "I miss my sister..."
"I know...but for now, you've got me, Moon. From this point out, I'll be here if you need me, okay?"
Midnight Moon nodded, nuzzling my cheek. "Same to you, Jake. But now, I think it's time you wake up. It's morning."
"But it's only been an hour!"
Midnight Moon chuckled. "Time slips by faster when you're sleeping and you are technically sleeping."
"But...cuddles..."
"Tomorrow night we can cuddle again, okay?"
With a sigh of defeat, I smile at Moonie. "Alright."
Moonie smiled as she lit her horn a bright blue. "Thank you, Jake." she smiled...and kissed my cheek." "Thank you so much."
As my vision went white, I put a hand to her cheek and smiled. "You're welcome, friend" I manage to say before everything goes black.
I woke up.
The sun was shining brightly into my room from the window, the thin curtains cascading a swirly shadow display on the floor. I stretched somewhat and sat up. I looked down to see my hands and arms were covered in black fur again. I'm not too sure if it's a bad or good thing. I smiled a little and stretched my arms out, feeling the tiredness flow from my body. It was rather invigorating and relaxing. I wish I could still be cuddling Moon. She's a great cuddler! Heh. I'm actually sort of happy now when I think of her. Imagining her laying on me again made me smile.
"Good morning, Midnight Moon!" I said happily, gently stroking my chest now that I had fur again.
"Good morning to you as well, Jake. I hope you slept well."
With a little nod I stood from my bed. "I did, Moonie. I slept very well."
"Good, and...Jake...?"
Making happy swishes of my tail I grabbed my phone and left the room, swaying my tail from side to side. "Yeah, Moonie?"
"Thanks for the talk last night. I feel...we both really needed that."
I trotted merrily down the steps, even though it's kinda hard to trot being bipedal, but being a pony just makes it ironic to say.
"I'm glad you're my friend now, Moonie. I really am! I'd hug you...but you don't have your own physical body yet..."
As I slowed to a canter, approaching the kitchen, I saw mother cooking breakfast.
"I know I've hurt you pretty bad...Jake...but please don't let my arrogance get in the way of you being happy..."
"I am happy, Midnight. Our talk really helped! I'm happy again, we're friends now and it's like there is nothing to worry about! You need to be happy too. We're friends now. We talk happy, random, funny, stupid stuff. Okay?"
I could feel Midnight Moon beaming from ear to ear in my head as I came to mom's side, seeing her cooking up some pancakes.
"Thanks, Jake. I'm glad I'm friends with you."
"Hiiii mom!" I said happily to my mother, throwing my arms around her, wagging my tail proudly.
Mom returned the hug all too happily. "Oh, Jakey..."
She began to sniffle. "Mom...what's wrong?"
Mother sighed and broke away from the hug to go back to cooking. "I couldn't sleep...I...just couldn't...shake the image of you with that knife in your chest." Mom wiped her cheek as a tear fell. "We were so happy...then all of a sudden, I find my son has turned into a humanoid pony and tried to kill himself..."
I lowered my head, gazing down at my hooves. "I'm sorry, Mommy. If it makes you feel any better, I'm happy right now!"
Mom shook her head. "Jakey, please don't lie to me..."
"But I am, Mom! Me and Nightmare Moon had a talk last night. She apologized for all this and we've decided that the only way to make things better is to just come to terms and hope for the best until she can leave my body. I'm not going to be stuck like this, Mom." I took mother into my arms again, wrapping my massive wings around her. "I'm happy as long as you're still here, okay?"
Mom nodded and kissed my forehead. "I won't leave you, Jakey. Never."
"Then we got nothing to worry about!" I smile at her, closing my eyes with a tilt of my head.
"What did I do to deserve such a wonderful son?" Mom asked, hugging me once more.
"I dunno, but I'm here. I'm also really sorry you had to see that...but I won't be trying it again anytime soon. I'm happy!" I wagged my tail joyfully as if it were natural. I really like having a tail.
Mother smiled up at me, rubbing my cheek with a thumb. "It's nice to hear you say that. I've just been so worried about you...You've always been so happy and full of life and..."
"And things are going to get better." I smile, finishing her sentence for her, hugging her tighter.
Mother put her arms around my neck and sniffled again. "I love you, Jakey. My sweet child."
I blushed a little. "Thanks, mom."
"When you're done cooking, I also have something very important to ask of you, okay?"
Mom nodded and pulled away. "Alright."
With a smile, I left the kitchen.
"So, Midnight. Since we're planning on you staying with us, we might as well learn of of some of my slowly dying world, shall we?"
"Dying?" Moonie asked rather surprisingly.
"My race has done so much damage to this world than you ever could have to yours, Moon. Once your sister sees my world, if ever, she'll most likely forgive you on the spot. Maybe not the possessing Luna part, but you know what I mean."
Midnight chuckled. "I didn't possess her. That'd be taking control against her will, pretty much, but she allowed me to, to make herself more powerful. We became one and...were sent to the moon..."
"So...how about we start with a map?" I ask, taking my phone out of my pants pocket.
"How will your...phone...help us with that?" Moon asked curiously as I came to the couch, a blush on my cheeks.
"Judging by the question you just asked me, you guys don't have phone on Equestria?" I asked with a raised brow.
"Sadly, no."
"Then I guess we should hold off on this...these...little thing can get complicated... I chuckled slightly, staring at the iPhone in my furred hand.
"Then, maybe I can tell you some bits and pieces of my world?"
"Sure."
"After breakfast, I could teach you how to use magic and fly, if you'd like that"
I slid my phone back into my pocket and moved my tail into my arms, running my fingers through it. Funny it looks nothing like hair, but feels just like it.
"That sounds like fun!" I giggled slightly, hugging my tail.
"Maybe when we separate, I'll leave you will a copy of my tail...seeing how you like it so much." Moon chuckled.
A small blush appeared on my cheeks. "I'd like that, to be honest...but it wouldn't look right on my body...could you imagine that?"
That made Moonie laugh some more. "Now that I think of it, I say you'd look just fine. You humans look odd to me. No muzzles, or wings. No horns or fur, or tails of course. Does your race even have cutie marks?"
I tilted my head slightly. "My gut tells me it's the marking on your flanks?"
"Precisely. Everypony gets their own cutie mark to represent their own unique talent. I'm assuming you don't get them?"
I shook my head as I let my tail go. I began thumping it lightly on my lap. "Nope. Wanna watch t.v?"
"No romantic comedies. I hate those."
"Who doesn't?" I ask aloud, taking the remote in one hand, using the other to lightly stroke my chest as I turned on the t.v.
