Chapters My name is Sunlight Shimmer. Some name, huh? I mean, I could've been called Ella, Evie or maybe Emily. I mostly like names and words that start with an E. It adds an elegant touch to everything. But no. My parents just had to call me Sunlight. Sunlight Shimmer. I wonder if my name has a meaning. For example, it could be the light of the sun shimmering in the sky. But I'm just saying, it's not like it ACTUALLY meant that. Otherwise, it would be...exciting? I don't really know which word to use and it HAS to start with an E, because those words are always so...eccentric. Let's just assume that, but E words are way more than exciting and eccentric.
But let's go back to the beggining: I'm Sunlight Shimmer. I'm currently in 9th grade and I'm almost fourteen years old. I live in Happy Person City. Believe it or not, that's the real name of the city and people aren't even happy there. Every day, I hear loads of cars honking their horns and I even hear people shouting angrily. It should've been called Angry Person City.
So, in HPC, I live with my aunt Starla and my older sister Sunset Shimmer. We've been living with our aunt for quite a long time. I don't really like telling people why I live with her, but I guess it'll be okay if I say it once to the person or people who are reading this. Speaking of which, I'm trying to "write my thoughts inside a notebook". I don't exactly know what use it could be in the future, but it feels great to finally tell someone about my life.
The reason why my sister and I live with our maternal aunt is because...our parents died in a plane crash. I was about five years old when it happened and my sister was around nine. When we found out about it, my sister was depressed for two months and I always cried to sleep every night, so then aunt Starla, my mom's sister, let us stay with her. Sunset felt a lot better after moving in with her, but I didn't change that much. I still continued to cry every night. Aunt Starla tried to help me psychologically and a few things changed about me. I didn't really cry anymore, but I was still grieving for my parents.
Which brings me to this: I'm also being bullied at school. Maybe you think that I'm a beautiful girl with shiny aquamarine eyes and cool nerd glasses, but then we'd be talking about my sister.
I admire my sister a lot and I've ALWAYS wanted to be just like her: confident, brave, selfless, quick-witted and supportive. I mean, she always gave me support when I needed it most and she gave me good advice for...everything. In short, she's the best big sister I've ever had, even though I only have one!
Nevertheless, even when my sister was there for me, I still got bullied at school. Sometimes, I feel like the whole world is against me...what did I do? I mean, I wouldn't say that the WHOLE world's holding a grudge against me, but that's how I sort of feel when some kids bully me.
Come to think of it, I've always wondered why I get bullied so much. I don't know if I'll ever find the answer to it, because I still don't know why every student at my school hates me. Sure, I get straight As in every subject and I'm pretty good at sports (which explains my tomboyish personality and style), but I don't see why anyone would abhor me. Although, I don't really like my physical traits.
I think that I'm too tall and that my hair looks awful! I mean, short blonde hair? I don't think I've heard about worse hairstyles than what I have. In fact, this is exactly why I'm a victim of bullying. I think. Students criticize me a lot about my look and tend to call me weird names, which I was not able to tolerate, of course. In short, every day at school was a holy visit to hell. But today was different: it wasn't a day like the others. I sure was freaked out.
It was during my second class of the day, which was P.E. My teacher was shouting to keep jogging around the gymnasium and boy, was it big! I was still jogging, but my heart was beating so fast that I thought that I'd puke. So, I stopped running, bent down and put my hands on my knees to get my energy back.
That's when Mrs Hoovesley, the school's principal, said something that was heard through the speakers in the gymnasium. Her stern voice echoed, which paralyzed the students - it happened everytime the principal announced something.
"Sunlight Shimmer is reported to the principal's office. I repeat, Sunlight Shimmer is reported to the principal's office.", she said.
I stood up properly and started to panic. I looked around the gymnasium to see if she wasn't referring to another Sunlight Shimmer. Nope, the eyes of all the students AND the teacher were on me . Well, now you can clearly understand that I hate going to the principal's office. It always freaked me out for some reason. I've never really been there, but from the experiences of many students, I figured out that it was the scariest place ever.
Practically everybody in my class once had a tiny trip to the principal's office. Cherry Belle went there because she hurt a person and had to apologize to him. Benny Whinesberg crapped his pants at school and was sent home. The more bad experiences I count, the more scared I feel.
My P.E teacher had her arms crossed and she also told me to go to the office. I gulped and went towards the door that would soon get me out of here. I heard whispers behind my back, but I tried to ignore them as much as I could. Finally, I turned the doorknob and went outside the gymnasium. Well, that was a first - I was able to exit the gym and now I was in the dark, obscure halls of the school...yikes. But I tried to be brave, just like my sister and walked to the office. Then, I noticed that the door was completely closed. Since I was a tall person, I looked through the office's door's window and...I saw Mrs Hoovesley talking and laughing with...
"Aunt Starla.", I whispered.
Suddenly, the door opened and I saw Mrs Hoovesley. Now, this is where the weird part comes.
"Top of the morning to ya, Sunny!", she said with the most bizarre smile ever.
Chapter 1: The Move To A New City
When the principal said that, I felt...weird. Paralyzed. No...I was like: "What the freaking chocolate fudge?!". I know, it's a weird expression, but that sentence described exactly how I felt when I heard the usually strict and "evil" high school principal talking like the happiest person in the world. Of course, I only said that in my mind and no one else but me heard what I said.
So, Mrs Hoovesley had this...very weird smile on her face. I looked like I saw a big and hairy spider. There was also an awkward silent moment. As if it wasn't enough, my aunt had to do her isn't-it-obvious-what-we're-doing-here face, which is what she does whenever she thinks that I have no idea of what's going on. Ugh, this literally is a nightmare coming alive! With that same grin, the principal told me to enter her office. So, I hesitantly stepped inside and sat on a chair next to my aunt, but also right in front of the principal. This is the first time I'm going to say this: Mrs Hoovesley's a total freak.
Then, my sister - yes, her! - came into the office. She looked pretty chill. If aunt Starla and Mrs Hoovesley weren't her right now, I'd immediately hug her and cuddle her like nobody's business. That woman is starting to scare me now...and all of that because I saw her smile for the first time in forever. Instead of comforting myself using my older sister, I just smiled at her and she did the same thing. I'm sure she knew how I was feeling, because she put her hand on my shoulder and told me: "Aunt Starla and the principal have something important to tell us. It's nothing freaky or anything.". Of course, I felt relieved after hearing my sister's voice. So it wasn't anything weird, but why was everyone smiling?
- So...why am I here? I didn't do anything wrong, did I? I asked with a voice that made me sound like I was five years old.
- Of course not! Mrs Hoovesley exclaimed. In fact, it's even better...
After saying that, she took out a brochure out of her desk's drawer and put it on her desk. She was grinning again...oh God. But I was focused on the brochure (luckily). It said: "Welcome to Canterlot High!".
One second.
Two seconds.
Three...four...five...
No way. I couldn't believe it.
I'm going to be transferred to a new school? This is...amazing!
I looked at the brochure again carefully and even touched it, just to make sure that I wasn't dreaming. Nope, it was real life. The reason why I was so happy was because I could now realize my dream. This was something I've always wanted to do.
I've always wished to "start over" my life, if you know what I mean. Like I said before, I'm being bullied at school a lot and ever since the first time it happened, I've been wanting to transfer to a new school. In new schools, students don't know a single thing about you, so there aren't really any problems. Even if they don't have a clue about your life, you still have to hide who you are and if you're not careful, you'll be the laughing stock in no time.
So, I was quite happy and smiled to show my happiness. But what my aunt told me was way better.
"We're also going to move to another city...that is, if you're willing to be a Canterlot Wondercolt!", she said with a cheeky smile.
Sunset continued: "The apartment we're going to live in once we get there is pretty cool. I know my little sister will be happy there, won't you, Sunlight?".
I nodded my head. Since my happy meter was at 101%, I hugged my aunt and my sister and I also said thank you lots of times to them. I also thanked the principal for giving me a big privilege and she gave me a reassuring smile. Maybe I could be used to seeing her like this...it makes her look less "evil".
After this "happy moment", me, Sunset and aunt Starla went out of the office and said bye to the principal. Before going out of the school, I took everything there was inside my locker and put those things inside my school bag. It was really heavy! I was finally able to step out of this school. Before I definitely went away from this high school I've been going to for only five months, I stood in front of the main entrance. My jacket was keeping me warm and my cozy scarf was floating because of the freezing wind. I was holding my schoolbag on one shoulder, while the other one was...well, it had nothing on it. It started to snow a bit outside. That was when I decided to say: "Goodbye, Happy Person City. Hello, Canterlot.". Then, I got inside my aunt's red car, closed the door, buckled my seat belt and watched the school disappear out of my view as the car moved on the snowy street.
When we got home, me and my sister prepared our luggage in our room. I was surprised because there was nothing at all in our bedroom. Just a table with our clothes and other belongings on it. Our room looked quite large without the furniture.
- Sis, when did aunt Starla tell you that we'd move to another city? It looked like you already knew about this before, I told my sister while packing up my luggage with my clothes.
- About a few days ago. She told me to keep it a secret from you so that your questions about the "moving-in thing" won't annoy us, she replied while doing the same thing, but with a smile.
- Hey!
- What? You know how cranky I get when I get headaches! Sunset shouted.
- But I can't help myself! Blame it on my adrenaline rushes! I said to defend myself.
Of course, this is not turning into a fight. We sisters like to joke a lot.
- Adrenaline, huh? my sister asked with a sinister voice, as she came closer to me.
I was starting to get scared. For a while, I thought that my big sister was bitten by a zombie and that she was starting to slowly become one. I had a terrified look on my face, until...she started to tickle me!
Fact #1 about Sunlight Shimmer: She is a VERY ticklish person. If she gets poked, she'll laugh like you told her about fart jokes.
I laughed like a hyena as my sister tickled me. If anyone actually saw me through a window, they'd see me wiggle like a fish that's desperately trying to go back underwater. That would be RIDICULOUS!
After almost a minute of laughing and tickling, Sunset finally let me go and sighed.
- Hope Canterlot will be this fun, she said after cleaning her black nerd-like glasses.
- Of course it'll be fun...I hope, I replied as I closed my luggage.
- You've got nothing to worry about, Sunlight. I know everything will go well for you at your new school, my sister told me as hugged me.
- Thanks, sis. You're the best, I said before falling asleep on her.
I don't really know how the rest of the day went like, because I practically spent the next 4 hours in the car sleeping like a baby. So, when I woke up, there was no one but me inside my aunt's car. I heard some sounds behind me. When I turned around, I saw aunt Starla taking out the luggage.
- Care to help out, sweetie?
- Sure, I answered before yawning. Where's Sunset?
- She's inside the apartment, but I think I'm going to need (she's lifting a very heavy luggage) an extra hand, she answered as she huffed.
I got out of the car - with my jacket on - and looked at the so-called Canterlot city. There were big buildings and some skyscrapers everywhere. It was similar to HPC, except that I didn't hear many cars honking and there were smiles on the citizens' faces. Real, actual smiles.
But I did have to help out my aunt, so I took my luggage and went inside our apartment. But before going in, I stopped walking once again just to see the new place I'm going to live in. I'm going to make a quick description: from the outside, it looks like...a freaking beautiful five-star hotel. Imagine it however you want, but it's just beautiful. Literally.
After going inside the apartment which will is my new home, I was even more amazed about how it looked like. The first room I saw was the living room and it was...yes, you guessed it, BEAUTIFUL! Same for the other rooms. Each bedroom had a bathroom, making about...three bathrooms in total. Those had a shower with a sliding door and all of the bathroom stuff. The floor was wooden and shiny. The windows wee closed and beige curtains covered those.
I went inside my bedroom only to see a few boxes and some furniture. Thre wre two beds and my sister was on one of them. She was reading the brochure about Canterlot High. I put my luggage next to the other bed and sat next to my sister with my legs crossed on her bed. I read the brochure with her and noticed that the school was insisting a lot on friendship. Maybe it meant that making friends there wouldn't be so hard. To think that I've never been able to make a single friend on my own.
- Wow, the school doesn't look that bad! If even looks like the students are pretty nice there! I exclaimed.
- You're right, but..., Sunset hesitated.
- What?
- Well, it's just that...I'm sort of worried about you. What if you get bullied there just like in HPC? What if you can't make friends there by yourself? she asked worryingly.
I stayed quiet for a while, thinking about why she was so worried about me. She did agree on the fact that the school was great...what was wrong with her?
- Sis, you don't have to be so-, I said, before being interrupted by my sister.
- Worried? I've got a million reasons to be worried for you and everything else going on in my life! Why do you have to be the one everyone picks on? What's so wrong with you? Why does everyone have to criticize you all the time?! she shouted before smashing the brochure on her bed.
Then, I saw some tears rolling down her cheeks. No. I couldn't see Sunset cry like that. I didn't want her to be sad. Although, i had to admit that my sister happened to be one of the many people in this world who stressed out a lot. She always worried about me, but I didn't expect her to throw a fit about this.
She went inside the nearest bathroom so that she could cry freely. I just stayed on her bed and I felt pitiful for her. As her sister, I couldn't let her suffer like that. I mean, it was because of me. So, I stood in front of the bathroom's door and knocked gently. Then, Sunset slowly opened the door and I was able to see her red eyes and her face filled with tears. Luckily, she stopped crying and I was able to comfort her.
- Hey, don't cry like that, I said after convincing my sister to talk with me in our bedroom (and not inside the bathroom, because it would be awkward).
- I'm...I'm sorry you have to see me like this, she replied while wiping her tears.
I took a deep breath, held my sister's hand and told her:
- Stop worrying about me so much, Sunset. If CHS really is a friendly place, then I'll be okay there. And so will you. I don't want you to suffer because of me, so give me a smile, okay? I asked, hoping that she would feel better. It felt like I was the big sister, now that I was trying to make her better.
She smiled sincerely and nodded her head. After all, sisters support each other, right?
Then, she opened her luggage and took out her laptop. She turned it on, typed the password - which I was never able to guess because she always typed fast - and a computer wallpaper with both of us appeared, along with all of the softwares and files. Her laptop was jam-packed! After that, she opened her inbox and I noticed LOADS of mail from people named Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie Pie.
- Who are they? I asked her.
- Oh, they're my "soon-to-be" friends, if you could say that. Before our family moved in, we've been sending mail and texts to each other a lot and I've got to admit that they're really cool! They're...students from CHS. I befriended them after commenting on the forum of the school website.
Well, this is weird. My sister got herself, like, five friends just like that . And to think that she's the introverted kind of person. It's not that I'm jealous or anything. It's just...I don't know how to explain it.
So, the rest of the day went on normally. We've had lunch and supper. There were more and more furniture and decorations inside our apartment, in all of the rooms. It almost seemed like we've been living in Canterlot for years. Finally, after brushing my teeth and wearing my pyjama, I decided to get a nice sleep, because I was going to start my first day at CHS tomorrow with my sister.
I laid down on my bed and saw my older sister texting on her phone...with her "friends". I think, because she was smiling and giggling. I turned my body towards her on my bed and I asked her if our new school really will be cool.
"Yeah, of course!", she said without getting her eyes off her phone. "You're feeling excited too, right?", she asked me.
I hesitantly replied: "Yeah...right.", and I turned my body around on the left side of my bed. It took me quite a while to finally go asleep.
Chapter 2: The First Day At A New School
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
Yes, the alarm just rang and you might think that I'm desperately trying to sleep for at least five more minutes. Well, you're right. After seven and a half hours of sleeping, my mind is still saying: "I WANT TO SLEEP MORE!".
Since I did have school today, I decided to get out of my (super comfy) bed, much to my ire. That's when I noticed that my sister was nowhere to be seen.
I was positive that she didn't leave for school yet and that she was still inside the apartment, so I reluctantly changed myself, brushed my teeth and my hair. Then, I prepared my schoolbag and saw the brochure about Canterlot High lying on the floor. I looked around the bedroom to make sure that no one was around and quickly took the brochure to put it inside my schoolbag. After that, I went to the dining room, where I saw my sister eating pancakes with maple syrup. I sat next to her with my elbows on the table.
- Good morning, Sunset! I said with an overly exaggerated cheerful voice. Are you feeling okay this morning? I asked, while thinking of her texting to her friends last night.
She took a bite from her pancake, chewed it and swallowed it, then she replied to me: "I'm feeling good as ever! I'm especially excited to meet the students from CHS!". Then she asked me hesitantly: "You...know who I'm talking about, right?"
I quietly whispered some incomprehensible words while looking at the floor. Sunset raised one eyebrow and asked me if I was okay.
"Of course I'm okay! I just didn't sleep that well last night so now I'm just...uh...sleepy.", I answered with a sheepish smile, even if I knew that I sort of lied to her.
My answer to her was true and false at the same time. True, because I fell asleep around 11 o'clock in the night and I woke up at 6:45 a.m., but it was also false, because I was sort of angry at Sunset, to be honest. Normally, if she discovered something new or if she just met a new person, she would've immediately told me. But she didn't this time. Sisters are supposed to tell each other everything! So, that's why I hesitantly answered her question last night.
Luckily, she believed me. I didn't want her to be upset again. The only problem with that was that I had to be upset. Darn it.
Aunt Starla came inside the dining room with a plate for me. It had three pancakes, each of them over one another. There was lots of maple syrup, just how I liked it.
After I finished eating my yummy breakfast (which didn't make me feel that sleepy anymore) - followed by strawberries and a glass of chocolate milk - I wore my winter clothes and took my schoolbag with me. I stood in front of the door, waiting for my aunt to get ready so that we could ride in her car to go to school.
Once everyone was ready, I went outside with my aunt and my sister and we went inside our car. Before I got inside the car to sit in the back seat, I felt a warm touch on my shoulder. I turned around, only to see Sunset behind me.
- You can sit in the front seat for today. I don't want to see you with that Grinch-like face, and especially not on our first day at Canterlot High, she said with a friendly smile.
- Um, uh, thanks, sis, I stuttered.
I really wanted to tell her why I was acting strangely earlier, but I didn't want to cause any...problems. But it was too late. This proved that I'm not good at keeping secrets. It also meant that I had to find a way to literally zip my big dumb mouth. In fact, I even found a zipper on E-Bay...perhaps I could buy it?
- By the way, Sunset, I'm sorry for acting weird earlier. It's because you didn't tell me before about your new friends, so I felt, like, freaking pissed off about it and-
- It's okay. I knew. And I'm sorry too for not telling you, she interrupted. Then, for some reason, she winked at me. Looks like things are back to normal, I guess.
Wait, how did she know?
(...) I guess those were just some sister senses. Maybe some supernatural powers, but who'd know?
After a few minutes spent inside the car, while going to school, my aunt suddenly asked me about a thing that I've never thought of.
- Say, Sunlight, I know it's a bit too early to ask, but do you think that there might be anyone you might...like at CHS?
I narrowed my eyes, not understanding what she meant. My aunt stayed quiet, then she asked again with a mischievous smile.
" Just...how would your dream boy be, hmm?"
"Aunt Starla! Why would you ask her and not me ? Do I look that bad?!", Sunset exclaimed.
"No, Sunset, you look beautiful.", I answered sincerely.
"Thanks, Sunny, but-", my sister turned around towards my aunt and shouted to her: "What's so bad about me?!"
My aunt sighed and replied to my "raging demoniac sister". But it turned out that she didn't know what to say: "Sunset, I didn't ask you because...um, actually, you're just...you look-"
"Beautiful the way you are.", I added to make my sister feel better and I earned a reassuring smile from her. I thought that my aunt would stop asking these random and weird love questions, but I was wrong.
"So, sweetheart, how would your dream boy be like?"
I stayed quiet for a while, while thinking of a credible answer. Truth be told, I didn't want a date. Not only because I was the hate target in the past (which made it unlikely for me to hook up with someone), but I wasn't the type of person who was into romance. Actually, I honestly liked things related with action, comedy or sitcoms, so I couldn't see how the heck I'd be able to "smooch a guy just like that". Finally, I answered my aunt's question, but it just made things worse.
- I...um, don't really want a date, aunt Starla. I mean, I'm not that much into love stuff and-
- Really? she asked with an insisting tone. Why'd you hesitate then, huh?
- I was thinking of an answer! I retorted.
- Thinking? You've got lots of things going in that mind, Sunny...
- For God's sake, would you just leave her alone? She's just fourteen! Sunset said with irritation.
- I'm not exactly fourteen yet, I pointed out, much to my older sister's annoyance.
My aunt continued to drive the car and before I knew it, I arrived at Canterlot High! As soon as the car stopped, I rushed outside to see the school. As I was running, my aunt held my arm and told me: "Just tell me about your tiny crushes and all. I was a love expert when I was your age."
My eyes were half-lid, as if I was telling my aunt: "It's not going to happen. Seriously.". Then, she let go of me and I said bye to her, when I realized that my sister left me behind. I ran to her and walked with her inside the school.
Before going in, my sister was going to push the door open, but she stopped and looked at me with her turquoise eyes.
- Aunt Starla can be pretty crazy sometimes, right? And as much as I know you, you're not the kind of person who'd want to get into "love stories", she said. She even imitated the quotation marks for "love stories" with her fingers.
- Yeah, I replied casually. But it's best to ignore her, we all know how she is.
Then, we both said in unison: "Crazy."
- Well, what are you waiting for? I asked her. I thought that you just made friends in this school, so let's go meet them!
- After you, I insist, Sunset said as she opened the school's main door for me.
- Merci beaucoup! I said with a horrible French accent, then I made my way in the school, followed by my sister.
The first thing I noticed about the school was that there were students. Well, that's for sure, but in this school, there were lots of them! The main hallway had banners and there was also a place where trophies and medals were stored. The walls were sort of beige and the floor was blue with a few spiral decorations. As for the students, I couldn't help but notice how their clothing styles and personalities were different. I saw a musical group walking and the members were dressed like...rock stars. A boy with spiked blue hair and a leather jacket that was under his white T-Shirt mostly caught my attention. The way he was playing his electric guitar really amazed me. And Wait, could it be that I'm...no. No, I do not have a crush on that guy!
There were other people who were pretty different from the musicians too: fashionistas, tech people, bookworms, emos, etc.
I walked around the school with my sister and saw some people saying hi to her as we walked. The weird part about that was that they also called her by her name, as if they knew her for a long time. Some saw her and had a frown on their face, for some reason. Either this was a coincidence or there was something weird going on. But never mind that.
After an eternity of walking, we finally arrived inside a classroom where there were six girls standing. One had light blue skin and had multicolored hair. She was holding a soccer ball. Another one was hiding her face with her pink hair and she wore a white sleeveless shirt with a green skirt. Another girl had long, curly purple hair and was dressed elegantly. There was also a girl who had blonde hair and a stetson hat covered the top of her head. Finally, there was a girl with puffy and messy hair with sky blue eyes. So, they were just standing there quietly, until the blue-skinned girl threw her ball up in the air and came close to Sunset.
- Hiya! So you're that human counterpart student who's new to Canterlot High, huh? she asked with a smile.
- We are SO happy that you're here, darling, the purple-haired girl added.
- Ah heard a lot 'bout ya...everyone has, and ah'm sure that you'll fit right in! the girl with the stetson hat continued.
- Wow, it's, um, really nice to meet you! So, uh-, Sunset stuttered.
- GAH! the purple-haired girl screamed.
Everyone in the classroom (which meant me, my sister and the group of girls we just met), stayed quiet, wondering why she screamed like that.
- Sweetheart, your jacket is so...well, actually, I'm not saying that it's bad, but, um...it does not go well on you.
- Rarity, it ain't much of a big deal! the girl with blonde hair said.
- But still, she needs to wear better clothing, Applejack! Rarity retorted.
- I...ugh, whatever, Applejack finally said.
My sister was feeling pretty awkward. To make the "awkward" moment go away, she asked hesitantly before clearing her throat: "So, I need a new jacket, right? I can...buy one myself, Rarity."
"Oh, certainly not, dear! I'll make one especially for you, alright?"
"Okay...", she answered slowly.
"So, if we go back to the main subject, guys? Sunset here is gonna join CHS!", the girl with the soccer ball exclaimed.
"And Sunlight too, you know.", the shy pink-haired girl murmured.
I smiled at her, who then turned around as she squealed (or at least, I think she did). Then, when I felt confident enough, I asked the girl group about their names and some questions about Canterlot High.
"Name's Rainbow Dash. Consider me as the coolest person here."
"Mah name's Applejack, nice to meet ya!"
"Call me Rarity, darling."
"I'm Pinkie Pie!", and she shook my hand with lots of strength.
"I'm...Fluttershy.", but her voice was almost inaudible.
I laughed and all of us, including my sister, visited the whole school before getting ready for our classes. While we were walking around, Applejack asked me about some information about myself.
- So, Ahm guessin' you're a high school junior or a sophomore, Sunlight?
- No, actually, I'm a freshman, I replied. I look too tall, right?
- Not that much, although Ah know a guy who's a tad muscular and taller than ya, she said with a wink.
- Really? Who?
- Let's just say that you'll meet him right...
A loud and hoarse voice was heard nearby, and I saw a white-skinned muscular guy running around the school screaming "YEAH!". Applejack continued: "Now.", after being briefly interrupted by him.
- You'll just like this school, Ah know it, she told me.
- Thanks, Applejack, I answered, knowing that today would be a great day, because I met such amazing people who are now my...wait, are they my friends? I'm not sure about that yet.
- We're ALL friends! And for that...PARTY AT SUGARCUBE CORNER!! Pinkie shouted excitingly.
- Wait, what's a Sugarcube Corner? I asked hesitantly.
Everyone (except Sunset and I) gasped of fear. Rainbow Dash explained to us what the place was and apparently, it seemed like a place where we could get delicious treats. What a relief, I haven't eaten cake in two years!
Unfortunately, our visit ended and I had to part ways with my sister's group so that I could go to my class. I looked at my schedule for the day and my first class was...science. I don't like subjects that are too easy for me, but maybe this school's science classes weren't really too boring. I went to my locker (which my "friends" showed to me) and opened it to take my material for class. Everything was okay and cool, until...
This boy came next to me. And I'm not talking about Flash Sentry (Pinkie Pie told me about him). So, he had messy pitch black hair and his skin was practically white. He wore black jeans and a white T-Shirt, which was partly covered with his black leathery jacket. His eyes were as blue as the ocean. I knew about that when he looked at me while he was next to me, because his locker was next to mine. Did I have a crush on him? I don't know, but my heart was beating abnormally fast and my hands were starting to sweat.
I smiled at him, but he didn't exactly do the same thing.
I immediately described him as mysteriously...mysterious.
