Chapters Much to his surprise, Discord had received a letter in the mail from somepony he hadn't heard from before. The letter was from Fancy Pants, and it was an invitation. Specifically an invitation to one his high society social parties in Canterlot. And it allowed for him to bring at least two guests. Naturally, Discord was exited at first. Fancy Pants' letter stated his hopes that Discord could make things exiting.
It was the middle of the day it canterlot. The two Royal Sisters were both in Celestia's room at the palace, catching up on some reading. It was the was actually a day that they had taken time off from their duties just so they could spend some time together.Both the sisters were sitting beside each other on Celestia's bed. With a book in front of them, they were enjoying themselves. Suddenly, there was a flash in front of them. The familiar form of Discord appeared in front of Celestia and Luna.
Looking at the sisters with a look of glee on his face, Discord said "Well, hello there, pony princesses. Fine day, isn't it? I love what you've done with the sun today Celestia."
Celestia both got annoyed looks. Celestia asks "Discord, what are you doing here? This is mine and Luna's private time."
Discord replies "Oh, I'm so sorry too interrupt. But I have some very exiting music to share with you."
Looking skeptical, Luna said "We're listening."
Discord smiled. "You see, today I got a letter in to the mail. And, turns out, It's from none other than Fancy Pant, the Canterlot big shot. And he has actually invited me to one of his fancy parties. Can you believe it?"
Celestia and Luna both grew looks of shock.
"Wait, Fancy Pants invited YOU to one of his parties?" asked Celestia.
Luna followed up "Why would he do that?"
Discord replied with a smirk "Well, apparently he's expecting me to help make thing a bit more exiting there. Not that I can blame him. I am great at parties. Don't you remember the last Grand Galloping Gala, Celestia?"
Celestia got a look of disgust. "Yes, it was fun. But you did make quite the scare".
Discord repied "Oh, don't worry. I don't plan on bringing ol' Smooze with me this time. But that is part of the reason I here."
Luna asked "What do you mean?"
Discord said "You see, the invitation said I'm allowed to bring at least 2 guests with me. Naturally, I tried asking Flutter Shy and her friend if they wanted to go. But, unfortunately, they were all busy. So I decided to give you two the honor of going with me. You both can help me liven up that high society party with all kinds of games and pranks. It'll be loads of fun! What do you say?"
Celestia and Luna looked at each other. Without having to even talk, they could tell they already agreed on their answer.
Celestia looked at Discord and said "We're sorry Discord. But we have to turn you down, too. Me and Luna just don't enough time alone together anymore. We hope you can understand".
Discord's face turned flat. He dropped to the floor like a lead balloon. Naturally, he felt sad to be turned down. But, in his mind, there was no excuse for this. All the Mane 6 had real reasons for not being able to go. But here, the Royal Sisters had nothing better to do than read old books. Discord thought that the stuffy lifestyle of being princesses had finally caught up to them and made them forget how to have fun. He decided that he wasn't going to take "no" for an answer. He was determined to make Celestia and Luna remember what it was like to have fun. They were going to that party with him. And he knew exactly how to make even better for them.
With a somber expression, Discord said "I'm sorry to hear that. But I think you two have just forgotten how to have fun. And I know exactly how to fix that."
Before they could react, Discord placed his paws in front of Celestia and Luna's faces. He snapped his paws with a flash of his magic. With looks of shock, a spiral of colors appeared in both of Celestia and Luna's eyes. Discord had just put them in a trance.
He checked to make sure it worked. Celestia and Luna had blank expressions on their faces. Colors spiraled in their eyes with their jaws slacked open, drool hanging out of their mouths. This was almost enough to make Discord laugh, but he would save that for later. Right now, he had some adjustments to make to the sisters. It was time past time for them to loosen up, big time. Discord started to imagine all the ways he could mess with their minds. He got giddy just thinking about how fun he would have with them afterward. And just what they would be like. He knew for sure that he was going to get rid of the princess' "Proper Composer". It's what made them so stiff in the first place.
Smirking, Discord said "Yup, I think I know exactly what you two need. But before we get started, something here just doesn't feel right. There is something wrong with the atmosphere in here... Wait, I know!"
Discord snapped his paws again. Another flash of magic appeared around Celestia and Luna. When it faded, they were both standing and smiling, with their eyes still spiraling. But now they were dressed like afro wearing clowns, with red noses.
Discord smiled with glee at the clown mares. "There, much better. I've always wanted to do that to you. And clowns help he think."
Discord couldn't help but chuckle. He didn't need to make Celestia and Luna look like clowns, but he wanted to anyway. And he planed on doing many more things like this with them later. His main objective was to help them loosen up. But this was Discord. Naturally, he was going to think up ways to make them look ridiculous.
Discord cleared his throat, and said "Now, the first thing you two need to know is that I'm your very best friend. We have been for a long time. I'm someone you like to spend your free time with. In fact, I'm a friend you have such deep trust in, that you both will listen to and obey any suggestion or command I give you, within reason. You will take everything I am about tell you to heart and will acknowledge everything I say by replying "Yes, Boss". Do you understand?"
Celestia and Luna said, in unison "Yes, Boss!"
Discord was pleased to hear that. "Now that we have that straight, the second thing. The two of you have been way too stiff lately. This whole princess thing is starting too tense you up. So, whenever you two are hanging out with me, your going forget about your "Royal Composer". I know it's important for being a princess. But when we're together, as friends, you'll forget about your royal images. Do you understand?"
The sisters replied "Yes, Boss!"
"Thirdly, we need to make some adjustments to your boring personalities. You both need to be more outgoing. Here what I'm thinking. When were hanging out, you need to be loyal and trusting to your friends, including me. Generous in that you'll put time and effort into helping and caring for others. And also have a love for spreading joy and laughter. Do you understand?"
Celestia andLuna said "Yes, Boss!"
"But that's not all. When we're together, both of you will now have the desire to be hyperactive. You both will show a little vanity and class when it's appropriate. Plus, of course, you both will have a desire to seek out fun. And you'll like to seek out your fun thought pranks, games, and jokes. Overall, making others happy will make you happy. But, you will both also have a mischievous side that lets you enjoy any kind of disorder. Do you understand?"
They replied "Yes, Boss!"
That was the final thing. All he had to do now was ingrain these traits into the very core of their beings. He could hardly wait to see what his new playmates would be like. Maybe, if they turned out well enough, he wouldn't change them back at all. Discord reveled at that thought, of keeping Celestia and Luna like this, permanently. Now to finish them off, then test them.
Discord said "Now, when I snap my fingers, everything that I have told you will be ingrained into the very of your personalities. You will not remember being hypnotized, but will think we playing a perfectly normal game. Plus, you will always remember that you trust enough to obey all my suggestions and commands. And you will continue to call me boss, but only when we're alone. Do you understand?
The sisters said "Yes, Boss!"
With that, Discord snapped his paw. Celestia and Luna's eyes blinked and the spirals disappeared. The two sisters looked around. They saw their friend, Discord, was there. They must have been playing. Why else would they look like clowns.
Celestia looked at Discord and said "Hey, Boss. What are we doing here, again?"
Discord smirked and replied "Well, don't you remember? We were playing around like we usually do. But when I put you two in those clown get ups, you started laughing so hard you went into a daze. But it seems your both better now."
Luna smiled and said "Oh! Well, that certainly explains it. We were literally just CLOWING around."
Both Celestia and Luna let off a small laugh. Discord could see that some of the personality adjustments were already starting to kick. They had already taken him at his word, so that was good. But now he needed to test weather or not they would follow his orders. He could have this getting too out of control, of course. So he needed to make they obey his suggestions.
Celestia stared at discord with a like look and said "Hey, Discord! Would you like some of My and Luna's "special" candy?"
Seeing the candy, Discord said "Why, yes. Thank you."
Discord pick two of the gumballs. He didn't put them in his mouth because he knew what was going on. They couldn't pull one over on him. This was a good opportunity to test if they would follow orders.
Discord instantly said "Both of you, say "AWWW"!"
Celestia and Luna instantly opened their mouths wide, saying "AAAAWWWW!"
Discord flicked both gumballs into their each of their mouths. Sparks instantly appeared around Celestia and Luna faces. When they cleared, their afro manes were totally frizzed. Discord knew it. Those were shock candies. They had just tried to prank him. At least he knew they would obey simple commands. But he still needed to know about complex ones too. He knew exactly what to do.
Discord said "Nice try, you two! But don't forget, I'm the one who taught you everything you know about pranks. That's why you've never been able to prank me."
The two sisters looked at each other and burst into laughter.
"AAHH,HA,HA! Your right, Boss. We never could prank you. But we still wanted to try." said Celestia.
Discord said "Say, instead of playing a game that I always win, why don't play one we all can enjoy?"
Luna ask, with a smile "What game did you have in mind, Boss?"
Discord replied "It's called "Dress Up". You two will be the models. And I'll be your expert stylist, who decides what you wear."
Celestia and Luna looked at each other and nodded.
Celestia said "Ok, Boss! Sounds like fun!"
Luna followed "Sure! Style us up!"
Discord could only imagine how much fun he was about to have with them now. And they were going LET him do what ever he wanted to them. Discord knew exactly how he wanted to play with them. He snapped his paw. With a burst of magic, a set of curtains on a floating ring appeared in the middle of the room. It looked to be like a make-shift dressing room.
Discord said "This is the magic dressing room. Just step in, and I'll literally work my stylish magic. Celestia, you first."
Celestia replied "Yes sir, Boss!"
With that, Celestia walked into in curtains.
Discord said "HHMM...For you, Celestia, we'll go with something daring, yet bold. Something that says "I'm tough"."
There was a flash of magic. The curtain then pulled back to reveal Celestia's new look. She was wearing a black leather jacket and boots. Her mane was in a messy style that made look like she'd been shocked. And she was wearing purple mascara.
Discord snapped his paw. A full-length mirror appeared in front of Celestia. As she gazed at her reflection, it didn't take more than a second for her face to light up in delight.
Celestia said, with a smile "I look so cool! Thank you, Boss! It's like I'm real tough girl."
Discord replied "I'm glad you like it. It's certainly to be a change of pace from your usual "goody princess" Image."
Luna said "Sister, you look so amazing!"
Discord turned his attention to Luna, and said "I'm glad you like too, Luna. Now it's your turn. Step in."
Luna smiled and said "Yes sir, Boss!"
Luna wasted no time stepping into the curtains, which closed behind her.
Discord said "Now, of course, the royal sisters come as a set, so we'll want make you a matching pair. But, we also want to it your own personal flare."
A flash came from the curtains. They pulled back to reveal Luna in her new fashion. Luna was wear a black leather jacket and boots, like Celestia. And her mane was also in a messy style. But Luna also had a red bandana tied around her head.
Luna turned to Discord and said "I look so fierce. Thank you Boss!"
Discord replied "Yes, I know. I've made you both look tough and attractive. You are both yet another one of my masterpieces."
Celestia walked over to Luna's side and they both started looking at themselves in the mirror. Discord could see that the adjustments he made to them were letting the Royal Sisters agree with everything he told them. But more importantly, he now knew they would obey him. Celestia and Luna had just let him make them look ridicules, and they willingly went along with. Plus, they believed whatever he said. He just put them in clothes that were an eyesore and they thought it was the most attractive thing they ever wore. And now Celestia and Luna were even admiring themselves in the mirror.
While the sisters were still looking in the mirror, Discord cleared his throat and said "You know, since we're having so much fun here, wouldn't it be great if we could go have fun someplace else?"
Celestia and Luna turned away from the mirror and toward Discord. As they moved, Discord could hear their leather clothes squeak. It made him chuckle. He didn't make them look tough, he made them look like couches.
Celestia had an intrigued look as she said "It really would, Boss. What did you have in mind?"
Discord said "I was thinking that all three of us could to a party, tonight. I've been invited to fancy-type party by Fancy Pants. He wants me there make the whole thing more exciting. And, what's more, the invitation allows for me bring two guests. And since you two love spending time with me so much, I've decided to let you come with me. What do you think of that?"
Both sisters gasped.
Luna dropped her jaw and said "Are you serious, Boss. There's a big party and you want us to be the life of it with you?"
Discord replied "Well, of course! Who else likes too have fun the way I do. So, are you both in?"
Celestia and Luna looked at each other and nodded. They looked at Discord and said "YES! Of course, Boss!" in unison.
Discord smiled, it worked He said "Excellent! Now, remember that you need to meet me in the Palace Garden, tonight at 8 o'clock, sharp. Meet me there after you two set the sun and raise the moon. And make sure your alone, we don't want any party pooper with questions,. From the garden, I'll take us to the party."
Celestia and Luna both nodded at Discord. They understood what he said and would comply.
Tilting her head, Celestia asked "But Boss, what are we going to do until then?"
Discord put his paw to his chip and started to think. What would they do? He certainly knew that he wouldn't mind making even bigger jokes out of them than he already had. But he wanted to the bigger spectacles for the party. Looking at the magic curtain, still floating in the middle of the room, he got an idea. He decided he would just keep playing Dress-up with them. After all, it's not everyday someone get to play with the Royal Sisters like their some kind of dollies. Only this time, he would do it in just their private chamber. Why not give the whole castle staff a laugh. He could cast a spell so nopony would think it's weird.
Discord looked at the sister with a sly smile and said "I know exactly what to do. Would both of you please step into dressing room?"
Celestia and Luna both did as they were asked. The still leather-clad princesses stepped into the curtains. They stood side-by-side as the curtain closed. Discord knew he was going to enjoy this.
Discord explained "I'm going to help you two brush up on your ballroom dancing, for now. But, of course, you'll need to be dressed fancy for that."
There was a large flash of light from behind the curtain. The curtain then pulled back to show Celestia and Luna in their "Dance Attire".
Discord smirked and said "There, a masterpiece. These are the latest styles."
Celestia turned around and said "Thanks, Boss! But where are we going to practice, in here?"
Discord shook his head and replied "Of course, not. We're going to the Palace Ballroom for that. It's not being used right now. Besides, it gives you two the chance show off your new outfits."
This though alone made both sisters smile.
Discord then snapped his paws and made a pointer stick appear in his grasp.
Discord then snapped his paw and disappeared. He instantly reappeared in a flash on Celestia's back, now wearing a pair of glasses.
Looking smart, Discord tapped the side of Celestia's flank with the stick. "Chop-Chop, girls. Class will be in session soon. To the Ballroom we go." he said.
Celestia and Luna obeyed the command. They both started walking toward the door, with Discord riding on Celestia's back. They magically opened the door and they were out. The Royal Sisters were now walk through the palace, dressed in little black dresses, in the middle of the day.

Celestia and Luna's Extreme Makeover: Discord Style
Discord's dance lesson with Celestia and Luna had gone very well. He spent a whole two hours teaching them. The first half-hour was spent teaching the Royal sisters how to waltz. Then he spent the next hour and a half making Celestia and Luna do the funky chicken. Discord busted his gut laughing at them. It got so good that he invited over two dozen guards into the Ballroom to watch the Sisters dance and eat popcorn. And Discord even filmed the whole thing, giving souvenir copies to each of the guards of course.
All that had happened over and hour ago. Nopony in the Palace had seen horn or tail of the Sisters or Discord since. Discord had actually decided that Celestia and Luna also needed to work on their poise and balance. For that sort of thing, they would need peace and quiet. And since it was their day off, nopony expected to find the Royal Sister to be in the throne room. As such, this is where Discord had brought the Sisters to continue his merriment with them.
Though he was having a good time, Discord suddenly realized what time it was. Going by his mental clock, he knew it almost time for sunset. The invitation to Fancy Pant's party said that it started just shortly after sundown. Discord knew Celestia and Luna still needed to
Discord looked at Celestia and Luna on either side of him. They were still posing like statues, though he had removed the trays. It was time for them to get going, so this antic had to end unfortunately.
Discord cleared his throat and said "OK, girls! That's long enough. You've held your poses and balance for a while now. This means you have excellent poster. But I need both of you stand at attention in front of me, right now."
Following the order, Celestia and Luna rose to their hooves. They walked a short distance from the throne, then turned around and stood side-by-side. They both stood beside each other at attention, smiling and waiting to hear what their "boss" had to say next.
Looking at the Royal Sisters, Discord said "Listen up. Fancy Pants' party starts soon. But the sun has too go down before that can happen. And more importantly, we need to do something about your looks. You can't show up with me looking like you normally do, it's just not my style."
Hearing what her boss said, Celestia replied "We see what you mean, Boss. Me and Luna have to things your way. So what are you going to do with us?"
Discord smirked and said "Well, first I going have you two lower the sun and raise the moon from here. Then, we're going to my place so I can give two an extreme makeover, "Discord Style". he he he..."
Not too many ponies knew it, but Discord made his home in a rift in space that made himself. This was thought to be the best arrangement for his living space, as he could warp reality all he wanted here. But as a result, Discord didn't get to many visitors, except the poor mail pony.
A flash appeared in the middle of the room. Out of it appeared Discord, who looked to be dressed like a nanny. In his arms were Celestia and Luna, both of whom were wearing diapers, straight jackets, and had bottles in their mouths. And they both looked to be dazed.
Discord said "O Dear, maybe I should have teleported us directly into my house. You two were floating out there for so long you got dizzy. Luckily for you I have a formula for anti-dizzy chocolate milk. Taking care of you girls brings out the mother in me."
After a few moments, Celestia and Luna finished the contents of the bottles. Discord snapped his paw and the bottles disappeared. He then gently placed the Sisters on the floor, sitting them on their hind quarters. Celestia and Luna's eye slowly lost the dazed look and they senses straightened out. They both shook their heads then looked around the room. They could see they were in the place Discord had told them about.
Celestia looked at Discord and said "Is this the place, Boss?", ignoring the fact that she was in a straight jacket.
Discord snapped his paw, making the nanny outfit disappear. He then pat Celestia on the head and replied "Yep! This is where I shall transform you both. By the time I'm done, it shall be as if you are different ponies altogether."
Luna said "I'm so excited! What are you going to do with us, Boss? Full makeovers? Leather outfits? Disco?!"
Discord replied "All wonderful suggestions, Luna But no. It's even better. I'm going to make you girls into something far cuter and more alluring. Your going to be...BUNNY MARES!"
Celestia and Luna both exclaimed "YAY!" at the same time.
Still sitting on the floor in their straight jackets, the two sisters looked at each other, raised and eyebrow, then looked at Discord. They didn't know what that meant.
Celestia asked "It sounds great, Boss. But, what's a bunny mare?"
Discord chuckled and replied "Why, it's a mare who dresses to look like a rabbit, of course. It's simple as that. But the looks I have planned for you girls is quite elaborate So much, that I'll be changing you both myself instead of using magic."
Upon hearing this, both Celestia and Luna smiled happily. The thought of "Boss" putting clothes on them himself made them feel very reassured.
Discord looked at Celestia and said "Follow me over here, Celly."
Discord walked over towards the clothes wrack, and Celestia followed as instructed. The both stopped in front of the rack and Discord began to rustle through it's contents. A moment later, he pulled both his paws out, holding something in each. In one was a hanger with a black legless leotard on it. In the other was a handful of accessories, four black hoof slippers, two rear leg stockings, two black bands, and a hair band with rabbit ear.
Discord turned to Celestia and said "Please close your eyes."
Celestia complied and shut her eyelids. Discord then focused on the brush with his eyes. It instantly stated to glow in a rainbow of colors. The colors swirled until the glow settled on being pink. Discord then touched the pink glowing brush to Celestia's tail. As he did, a wave of pink fluffy coloring swept over her tail, erasing the natural aurora glow. Discord then touched the brush to Celestia's mane. A wave of fluffy pink swept over that as well. Both Celestia's mane and tail now flow on an ethereal breeze, of pink.
Discord said "Ok, you can look now."
Celestia open her eyes and looked in the mirror. She gasped in disbelief. Celestia was now wearing a full bunny suit. Her mane and tail were pink and fluffy. And she was wearing hot pink lipstick and mascara.
Celestia said "I look attractive! It's like I'm a new mare!"
Discord responded "You might as well be. I call this masterpiece, Celly Bunny."
Celestia turn to Discord and said "Thank you! I love it!". She then hugged him.
Discord replied "Your quite welcome. It's about time somepony started recognizing my vision".
Luna stopped her recording spell. Looking at her sister, she was stunned. Luna said "Sister, you look so amazing. It's like your actually part rabbit."
Celestia pulled away from Discord. Feeling like a rabbit, she started to playfully hop around in circles. With her fluffy pink mane and tail bouncing around, Luna and Discord almost thought she was Pinkie Pie. After a few moments she stopped.
Discord turned to Luna and said "Ok Luna, now it's your turn. Please come over here."
Luna complied and followed Discord over to the clothes rack. Discord again rummaged through it. Moments later, he pulled out something in both paws. A hanger with a black lacy leotard in one paw. In the other, a pair of fishnet stockings, a pair of high-heel shoes, a pair of hoof cufflinks, and a snap-on shirt collar. Luna noticed there wasn't a rabbit ear hair band like before.
Luna asked "Where are the rabbit ears?"
Discord replied "Don't worry, I have something special for you. Please turn around."
Luna did as told and turned. Discord set the accessories on the table and took the leotard off the hanger. He stretch the mouth of the suit open and held it behind Luna's rear. Taking the signal, Luna slipped both her hind legs into the leotard's leg holes. Discord then pulled it up her legs, until fit snuggly. He then pulled Luna's tail through the tail hole on the suit.
Discord said to Luna "Close your eye."
Luna obeyed, shutting her eyelids. Discord grabbed Luna's flowing mane. He then put the brush to it. In an instant. a whirlwind appeared around Luna's head. Discord was doing a speedy head-do. A moment later, he stopped and put down the brush. Luna's mane was now perfectly styled how he wanted it. But he wasn't done. For the last touch, he picked up a thing of blue lipstick. He ran it around Luna's lips, making them light shade of blue.
Discord said "I'm done. You can look now."
Luna open her eyes and looked in the mirror. She saw she was wearing a complete fancy bunny suit. And her mane itself had been styled to look like a set of rabbit ears. With her lips the same color as her eyes.
Luna turned to Discord and said "Thank you, Boss. I've never been this beautiful in my life."
Discord replied "Your welcome. I call this look, Lulu Hops."
Celestia joined Luna and they both starred in the mirror together. The Royal Sisters were now nothing more than a "bunny mare pair". If any of their subjects saw them now, they would unrecognizable. They looked like completely different ponies. But not to Discord. He still knew who they were. And he intended to take to Fancy Pant's party like, for all of the Canterlot elite to see and feast their eyes on.
Discord yelled "OK! Smile, you two!"
Celestia and Luna both turned around and saw the camera. They both did their most alluring poses. Discord snapped the camera, and continued to do so. After each shot Celestia and Luna would make a different pose. Discord had the Royal Sisters modeling bunny suits for him.
Discord looked at the Sisters and said "Alrighty! It's time we got going. Are you both ready?"
Celestia replied "Yes, Boss! Thanks to you, I'm gorgeous!"
Luna followed "Yes, Boss! We're going to turn a few heads tonight!"
Discord smile and said "Excellent! And I'll be making the best entrance when I show with, not the royal sisters, but the "Rabbit Sisters"!"
With that, Discord snapped his paw. A collar and leash appeared around both the rabbit sister, with Discord holding the leashes. He was going to show in style with his new "pet bunnies"

The Party Begins...(with hijinks)
It was roughly 8PM in Canterlot at this time. Right outside the entrance to the palace ballroom, one could see all the lights were on, and the place was a buzz with activity. This was the site of Fancy Pants' party. He had rented out the ballroom for the evening.
Discord turned to the Sisters and said "Both of you, attention!"
Both mares turned to face Discord and "Yes, Boss!"
Discord still enjoyed hearing that. But would have to stop for now. "Girls, we are about to enter the party. When we enter, put on your best smiles, and walk alongside me, ok. And while we're her, refer to me simply as "Discord", not "Boss". And be sure to restrict all your mischief to common party pranks. Don't do anything you know will get somepony offended. Do you understand?"
Celestia and Luna replied "Yes, Boss! We understand fully!"
"Good!" Discord replied with a smirk.
With that, Discord snapped his fingers and an envelope appeared in his lion paw. This was the invitation Fancy Pants had sent him. And now that he had his "plus two", he was ready to make his entrance.
Taking his cue, Celestia and Luna both stuck a pose pointing at Discord. He snapped his tail and made big neon arrows point at himself appear.
Discord threw his haws up and shouted "THE FUN AS ARIVED!"
Fancy Pants immediately took notice of Discord and his companions. He walked over to his new guests to welcome them.
"AH, Discord! I'm so glad you could make it tonight. I was afraid we would be without you. And, I must say, that was quite the smashing entrance." said Fancy Pants.
Discord replied "Why, thank you. And I must say, I'm glad you asked to provide the entertainment. I have many tricks that are sure will keep your guests happy."
"I'm sure you will be amazing. And who are these two lovely mares with you. Your guests I presume?" said Fancy, looking at the Sisters.
Celestia stepped forward and said "Fancy Pants, it's us! Celestia and Luna. We here with Discord tonight."
Fancy Pants took a look of surprise. He took a closer look at the mares and saw they really were the Royal Sisters.
Luna stepped forward and replied "When Discord told us he was providing the fun and games, we couldn't say no to helping him. He even helped us dress the part."
Discord followed "What can I say? When you roll with me, you have to dress for success."
Fancy Pants smiled and said "Well, the three of you will certainly stand out together. Your an eye-catching trio. In any case, I welcome you all to the party and hope that you enjoy the evening's pleasantries."
With that, Discord and the Sisters took their leave and walked toward the ballroom. They went up the stairs and through the large open doors. In the ballroom, they found a large gathering of Canterlot's high-class elite ponies, all dressed in semi-formal designer clothes. When Discord, Celestia, and Luna walked into the room everyone took notice and looked at the trio. Everypony knew Discord right away. But when the crowd saw Celestia and Luna with him, they all looked very shocked. Everyone was surprised, not only to see the Royal Sisters with discord, but to see them in their rabbit suits as well. Some ponies had to quietly stifle their laughter because the outfits seemed so out of place here. Nevertheless, when Celestia and Luna saw everyone's reactions, their faces lit up with happiness. They were glad that they were making an impression. All of a sudden, this party's atmosphere seemed a whole lot less formal and stuffy with their arrival.
Discord turned to the Sisters and said "Well, I'm off to scout for the prime game zones. This place could already use some loosening up. You two go mingle with the crowd and help them enjoy themselves. I think they'd all be glad to talk to you both."
Celestia replied "Alright, Discord. Good luck..."
"And have fun!" Luna added.
Discord then snapped his tail and he was off in a flash. The Royal Sisters turned their gaze to the crowd and started to walk toward them. Half the guests returned to what they had been doing before. The other half watched as Celestia and Luna walked trough the crowd to the refreshment table. Once there, the two helped themselves to some of the cake, using their magic to cut a slice for each of them to enjoy. They then levitated the plates and forks in front of them and dug in.
One mare, named Sterling Silver, said "Greetings your highnesses. It's an honor see you tonight."
Celestia gulped down a bite of cake and replied "Thank you. It's good to see you too, Ms. Silver. It's been a while since we last talked, hasn't it?"
Surprised by Celestia's lack of usual manners, Sterling continued "I must say, I'm surprised to see the princesses out tonight, and with Discord of all ponies. Not to mention, your outfits are so unusual."
Celestia replied "Yup, Discord invited us to come with him. He's really changed in recent times. He actually dose a lot of good these day."
"And is he the one who dressed you both this evening, as well?" asked Sterling Silver.
Celestia replied "He sure is. Don't we look amazing. Their not vey formal, I know. But that's the point. We here to help everypony have fun. And these costumes say "have a hopping good time". Right?"
Sterling Silver couldn't help giving a small smile and said "Well, yes, they are quite unique. You two look like your ready to go hopping through the carrot patch. Ha,Ha,Ha...".
"I know, right?" added Celestia, who then continued eating her cake.
Then another pony from the group stepped towards Luna. Luna was also eating her own cake in large bite, but this didn't surprise anyone, as it was normal for her.
The stallion, named Fancy Shmancy, said "Greetings, Princess Luna. I'm glad to see you out and about for once. It's been ages since any of us saw you at one of these events last."
Luna scarfed down some cake, then replied "I know. Being "Princess of the Night" means I work every night. But Discord is trying to help my learn to loosen up a little. So I decided this was a great opportunity. We're here to help entertain you all."
Fancy Shmancy said "And letting Discord dress you like a rabbit just to play games is his idea of "loosening up"? Quite strange. So far all it's done is make you stand out."
Luna gave a smirk and replied "Oh, come on, Fancy Shmancy. You can't honestly say that things didn't get interesting when Me, my sister, and Discord walked into the room. We saw you and everypony else starring. And honestly, we liked it. We're glad if we can liven things up for you all."
Fancy Shmancy gave a smile and said "Well, you and your sister do look charming as ever. And I must admit, I'm curious to see what entertainment the Royal Sisters and Discord can provide together."
Luna simply replied "Don't worry. We have plenty of good tricks in store for tonight."
And with that, Celestia and Luna started to talk with everypony else in the group. As they went on, other guest came over to chat with the leotard wearing princesses. The Sisters went on to make jokes and do small magic tricks, helping everyone to enjoy themselves. Soon enough, everypony started ignoring the outfits and talked to them as they would anyone else. Celestia and Luna could feel the atmosphere start to lighten up all around them. And they could tell, this was going to be a good night.
