Nurse Fluttershy

Jake stood in Fluttershy's small cottage. Jake's eyes absorbed all he could about the earthy cottage. Holes and bird houses sat inside telling Jake about all the animals that lived in the cabin. Jake also saw all types of food bowls, which said that Fluttershy feeds many different animals. Medical supplies sat on a few shelves with books about animal care next to them. The last thing was a large drawer that he could only believe where Fluttershy kept all of the food her animals ate.

Jake was at the earthy cottage because Fluttershy was making food for his Pokemon. Jake needed a different type of food altogether to feed his Pokemon. They had been spending the whole day trying different recipes for each Pokemon. Fluttershy had examined them and started to experiment to find the perfect blend for each of them. At least I don't have to worry about them starving. Jake looked as Fluttershy came out with a few bowls on each of her wings.

"Jake you wouldn't mind getting the other two dishes in the kitchen." Said Fluttershy

"Ok." He said

He walked into the kitchen and grabbed the last two pet dishes. He walked out and got the door for Fluttershy. They walked out and watched as Jake's Pokemon played around with each other. Fluttershy's animal friends kept their distance as they were unsure what to think of the new alien animals. Eevee and Zorua were chasing each other. Espurr was intensely looking at a flower in her hands. Ralts seemed to watch Eevee and Zorua play. Cyndaquil was just resting in the grass, basking in the rays of the sunlight. Mareep was exploring some of Fluttershy's yard.

"Time to eat." Said Jake

The Pokemon stopped what they were doing and came running over. Jake helped Fluttershy get the food bowls off her wings and set them down on the ground.

"Enjoy, Fluttershy's been working hard to make this food for you." Said Jake

"Oh it was nothing, I make plenty of food for my animal friends from scratch. I hope you all enjoy." Said Fluttershy

The Pokemon made their Pokemon noises as a response to Fluttershy. They each went up to a bowl and started to eat. Jake and Fluttershy could see they were enjoying the meal as they happily ate what was in front of them.

"So Fluttershy, I have to ask. You can understand the sounds animals make. But can you understand what my Pokemon are saying." said Jake

"It seems my cutie mark doesn't give me that ability. I think it only allows me to understand the animals that live on Eques." Said Fluttershy

"Just had to ask, I wonder what Pokemon mean when they speak." Said Jake

Jake and Fluttershy drank some tea as they sat on the grass of her front yard. Fluttershy's animals friends had slowly accepted Jake's Pokemon. A few were even happy to play with them, especially Eevee and Zorua. Damn, all I would need is a Fennekin to make that the cutest thing ever. Ralts sat in Jake's lap with Espurr next to him with another flower in her hands. Mareep sat next to Fluttershy resting. Cyndaquil also snoozed away next to Fluttershy, who gently stroked her.

"You know, it strange to think these Pokemon are the same ones that Team Catastrophe have been using to attack us." Said Fluttershy

"Yeah." Said Jake

"Jake I have a question." Said Fluttershy

"Yeah." Said Jake

"Do Pokemon ever grow up?" Asked Fluttershy

"Yeah, but we trainers would call it evolving. You see once a Pokemon grows powerful enough. They evolve into a more powerful form. The forms of my Pokemon right now are their basic forms." Said Jake

"How many times can a Pokemon evolve?" Asked Fluttershy

"Now I should say this, some Pokemon never evolve. Now when a Pokemon can evolve, they either go one step up or two steps up." Said Jake

"So some Pokemon just stay the way they are or evolve once or twice." Said Fluttershy

"That's right." Said Jake

"Do any of your Pokemon Evolve?" Asked Fluttershy

"Yes, why don't we start with Eevee. You see Eevee has eight evolutions it can take. The first three you have to use either a Water Stone, Thunder Stone or Fire Stone to get them. Their names are Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. The next two you have to get by leveling up Eevee at certain times of the day. Now both of these evolutions need you to have a great friendship with your Eevee. Umbreon, you must train Eevee at night, while Espeon you have to level up in the morning. Now to get another set of evolutions requires certain areas. To gain Leafeon, you must train Eevee next to a mossy rock, while Glaceon comes from training Eevee next to an ice rock. The last evolution, Sylveon, comes from giving Eevee lots of love and teaching it a fairy move. Once that's all done, it will evolve into Sylveon." Said Jake

"Interesting that one Pokemon could have so many different evolutions. So Jake, which would you like Eevee to evolve into." Said Fluttershy

"If I had to choose, Slyveon. Now let's move on and look at Zorua next. Zorua will evolve into Zoroak. So from Zorua, let's talk Ralts. Now Ralts is a particular case because of gender. You see each Ralts will evolve into Kirlia. Now pending if your Kirlia is male, you can use a Dawn Stone to evolve it into a Gallade. But all Ralts can evolve into Gardevoir. Espurr has the same case. You see all Espurr evolve into Meowstic. But the color scheme of Meowstic depends on the gender of Espurr. Now we move to Mareep. Mareep evolves in Flaaffy and Ampharos. Last is Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil will evolve into Quilava and Typhlosion." Said Jake

"Amazing that these creatures could do such a thing. So Jake, are you going to evolve them all." Said Fluttershy

"I have to if I want to have a fighting chance against Team Catastrophe and their Shadow Pokemon." Said Jake

"Jake how many Pokemon are there." Said Fluttershy

"802 Pokemon exist." Said Jake

"What?!" Said Fluttershy

"That's right." Said Jake

"That's crazy to think that many Pokemon exists." Said Fluttershy

"Yeah, it can be. But that's what makes Pokemon so interesting. That there are so many different Pokemon and they each can do so many different things." Said Jake

"Jake I have to ask, how do you use your Pokemon to defeat Team Catastrophe's Shadow Pokemon." Said Fluttershy

"Well, I use my Pokemon to battle the Shadow Pokemon." Said Jake

"You force them to fight." Said Fluttershy

"No, I would never do that. I want my Pokemon to know I stand with them so that they will stand next to me. It's a trainer's job to respect his Pokemon and, in turn, his Pokemon will respect him. It is my duty to know which Pokemon I should use in a fight and when to pull them out. I would never put any Pokemon in harm's way." Said Jake

Fluttershy looked at the Pokemon around her and back at Jake. He looked at her, and he smiled. She smiled back at him.

"You know Jake. I trust that you can help Eques. I also now that you won't put these beautiful creatures in any danger." Said Fluttershy

"Thanks, Fluttershy, now I have a question for you." He said

"What?" Asked Fluttershy

"You see I need somepony to make sure my team is healthy. I saw you had books about helping animals. You wouldn't mind being a nurse for my Pokemon." Said Jake

"Oh, Jake I wouldn't mind." Said Fluttershy

"Thanks, Fluttershy." Said Jake

Jake leaned back and rested in the grass of Fluttershy's front yard. He placed his hands behind his head as he looked up at the sky. He looked up at the beautiful blue sky. This world isn't that bad. Jake closed his eyes to take a gentle nap while his Pokemon played around with Fluttershy watching over them.
