A boastful showmare named Trixie arrives in Ponyville, bragging about her accomplishments that one could only dream of achieving. Twilight and her friends can see through her act, and know that Trixie isn't what she says she is, and would like nothing more than to shut that big mouth of hers.

Things go downhill, however, when two particularly troublesome colts try to put her greatness to the test. If only Twilight would come through...
