You're startled out of your state of relaxation by Fluttershy yelling your name in a tone of voice that seems excited and positive. "Anon!" Considering the reason that she took off, you probably feel the same way as she does, but of a much higher intensity. "She accepted! She doesn't see why not!"
You cannot help but jump out of the sofa with as much energy as you can. You're far too excited for words. You're going to see Rainbow Dash.
"Show me the way!" you impatiently blurt out by accident. She exits her cottage and you follow when she starts flying at a low level, telling you to come along. As soon as you see this, you realize something awful.
You've haven't even had these wings for a day! You haven't taught yourself how to fly! You start to immediately jump in the air and flap your wings as hard as you can, but you can only stay in the air for about a second, which then leads to going out of control until you fall to the ground. What do you do now?
"Fluttershy, did you carry me above the ground or did you drag me?" As expected, considering Fluttershy's physical strength, she responds with the fact that she indeed did drag you across the ground. Therefore, being carried to Rainbow's place would be impossible. You could ask Twilight to use her balloon, but it would seem disrespectful to interrupt her during what would likely be studying, especially as a complete stranger. This leads you to resort to teaching yourself to fly, which despite how hard it would be to train yourself physically to perform this new skill, it's going to be worth it. You must do this to see Rainbow Dash.
When Life Gives You Rainbows
Hour after hour, try after try. You can tell you're getting better, but you still can't quite get it right. Your wing muscles feel more sore than any human muscle has ever been in your life. You've never physically worked so hard before. You can reach about half the height of the average tree, but after a few seconds you fall to the ground in disappointment. You can hardly take this anymore, but you also cannot help but continue. Dashie, the most beautiful thing in existence, is waiting for you up in the sky, and that's an extremely powerful motivation.
More hours pass by of doing simply nothing but flapping your brand new wings in attempt to get good at flying. It seems as if the pain from the effort of all this practice is comparable to that of giving birth, even though it probably isn't. You're able to get pretty high in the air, as well as descend slowly, even though your wing muscles are as sore and tired as ever. You go for new records in height and flight time for each try, and it eventually gets better and better.
Right before you go for another small practice flight, you see a purple, spherical object in your peripheral vision. You glance over to see what it is, and you can see that it's Twilight's balloon. You are immediately very confused about this. Do they actually care about you meeting Rainbow that much? Perhaps Twilight, being the Princess of Friendship and all, may be trying to build a new friendship?
Despite being completely unaware of what's going through the heads of these two ponies who care so much about the complete stranger that you are, you stop what you're doing to take a rest. Despite your heavy breathing, you manage to say hello to Twilight, as well as Fluttershy who is headed inside her cottage.
"Um, are you OK?" Twilight asks, with a little bit of worry in her voice. You did tell her hello, but you feel too exhausted to want to attempt to say anything. After a few seconds of Twilight waiting for a response, she invites you into the hot air balloon with a bit of enthusiasm. With all the effort you could possibly use, you slowly get up into the balloon and then pass out from the exhaustion.
When Life Gives You Rainbows
After what seems like so much fantasizing, you're in a rather deep trance at this point. You are fully enthralled by your thoughts of Dashie's mane in the wind, as well as cuddling and kissing her. This state of intense relaxation gets interrupted by the pony you are thinking about entering the room with a package containing some bottles of cider.
"Sorry, I took a bit longer than expected," she says, seeming a little bit annoyed. "It's a pretty long story." She rips the package open using her hooves and then grabs two bottles. She bites the cap off of two bottles and lends one to you. You're not used to having hooves instead of hands, so you have to be a little bit careful not to spill your drink, but things still work out.
"So, Anon, how are things today?" she asks enthusiastically. You hesitate to answer. You've been through some unbelievable things today, and she'd think you're crazy. Though, she does live in a magical world, so such things may make sense to her.
"I woke up, and suddenly I'm a pegasus. Went back to sleep, Fluttershy's cottage, practiced flying, passed out, then ended up here." Dashie looks a bit confused, but seems to kind of believe you. You take a sip of your cider, while Rainbow takes a few big gulps.
You ask how she's been today, and she answers with, "Things have been going alright today. All I've really been doing was napping and a bit of flying today, nothing special." Considering the nature of Rainbow, it really is nothing special, but you can't help but be as interested as ever in what she has to say.
You give her a smile and she notices, but she doesn't seem to mind nearly as much as when you did the same previously. She finishes her cider and then goes for another, which she takes one big gulp of before giving the cider a small break.
After about 30 minutes of hanging out with each other in silence, having no topics to talk about and drinking cider together, Rainbow seems to have started to feel drunk. She starts to act very tired and clumsy, like people are when they're drunk. She starts smiling at you, but you don't take it seriously because she's had a lot of cider, even though you really want to take it seriously. She begins to wrap her arm around you, which then leads to cuddling. Again, she probably doesn't actually feel this way, but you really like what she's doing to you. You start hugging her tightly, and she responds with the same thing.
It's not long until she begins to caress the back of your head with her hooves, putting her mouth to yours. It's a dream come true. You're kissing the one and only Rainbow Dash. You both do this for about 15 seconds, until Dashie pulls back. "Anon, I'm really tired. I think it's time for me to get some sleep." You give her an affectionate smile and tell her that it's alright.
"Can I sleep with you, Dashie?" you ask softly. She then pulls you close to her with a warm embrace, implying that yes, you have been permitted to sleep with her. The both of you, very relaxed, try to get some sleep together.
It's the most comfortable bed you've ever been in, and you're sleeping with the most beautiful thing to exist. It's by far the best night you've ever had. She opens her eyes halfway to say one more thing. "Tomorrow morning, things are gonna get awesome.

My very first fanfiction posted on this site. Some constructive criticism would be MUCH, MUCH appreciated, as I would like to become a better story writer.
Chapter 1
Last night was super amazing. Your bed was oh-so comfortable, and your Rainbow Dash plushie was the closest you were able to get when it came to sleeping with your favorite mare.
However, waking up wasn't nearly as pleasant as sleeping in your bed. It felt pretty cold, there was no blanket to help keep you warm, and you felt grass beneath you. All you had from back home was your plushie of Rainbow. You open your eyes, wondering what in the world is going on. Your surroundings are shockingly familiar. Despite it being dark, you can see that all the small houses are cartoon and colorful.
When you look at yourself, something surprises you like nothing ever had before. You can't believe what happened to you over the night. You- you're a pegasus pony. Many, many thoughts go through your head. How did I get here? How did I not wake up? Did anything happen to planet Earth? Where is my family? While these thoughts of panic happen, there is the bright side of things. You can teach yourself how to fly, and you're in the same world as Rainbow Dash. Or are you? Is this Ponyville? Is this the same land as in the TV show that you love to watch? You could possibly try and figure out the answers, but you're too tired to do so.
It's very early in the morning, yet you don't know exactly what time it is. You don't have a watch on, and the time of day in Ponyville is most likely different from the time you normally wake up. You go back to sleep, planning to explore this new world as the pony that you newly are tomorrow.
When Life Gives You Rainbows
This is the worst waking you've ever had in your life. The pain is awful. While the bed that you're in is extremely comfy, more than any surface you've ever touched before, the aftermath of your flying practice is beyond awful. You moan a few times at the pain.
"Well, well, well, it looks like Mr. Anon finally woke up," says a cute, raspy voice from behind you. "It's Anon, right?" You can't believe your ears. It's Rainbow Dash. You reply with a simple nod.
Your immediate instinct is to turn over and hug her very tightly, which you almost do, but you immediately refrain. You don't want her to feel confused or uncomfortable, which you probably already did. After a short awkward stare, you close your eyes halfway and give her a very soft hello. You smile at her subconsciously, where she gives you a confused look. It causes you to realize the way you're acting around her and regret it.
Opening your eyes a bit more and slightly raising your voice, you tell her, "I've been a huge fan of you for quite some time. I've always found you to be super awesome." She grins a bit and agrees with what you have stated. So far, she seems pretty OK with you, which is enough to make you happy beyond words. Though, the only way for her to like you at least as a friend is by hanging out and doing things with her.
"So, um, wanna get some cider?" you ask, hoping she accepts. You want to do the things that she likes with her so that she can have fun hanging out with you.
"Sure," she says. "I'll be as fast as I can." You feel kind of bad, as you feel like you just ordered Rainbow to get up, as lazy as a pony she can be sometimes, but she didn't seem very mad about it. She's the fastest pony in Equestria and she said she'll be as fast as she can, but you already miss her a little bit even after only a couple of minutes of seeing her.
You think about her in romantic ways, which is all you can really do to occupy yourself while she's out getting cider. You think about her mane flowing through the wind as you close your eyes, deeply relaxed by the thought, despite your pain that's so bad it's hilarious.
