Twilight lists off things “Right, we need the Crystal Heart in the centre. We also need to set up jousting.”

Cecil smiled “I’ll get right on that, it’s marvellous activity. We hold jousting tournaments back home every year, I’ll set up the pony version.”

Twilight continued “We also need to locate and place the flag up as well as gather crystal berries from the berry fields. We also need to somepony to play a Crystal Flugelhorn whatever that is and also we need to learn the Crystal Empire National Anthem.”

Rydia smiled “I’ll learn the anthem, I love singing.”

They heard a loud sound blasting through the area, they frowned as they saw Pinkie Pie playing a massive crystal instrument, Twilight sighed “Pinkie found the Crystal Flugelhorn, great.”

Applejack smiled as trotted over wearing a messy apron“Ah’ve began baking some crystal berry pies, Ah just hope the crystal ponies like them.” Twilight turned around to see Rarity humming as she was sowing a flag while occasionally glancing at a book. Rosa was carefully setting up the Crystal Heart on a podium.

Rydia smiled “All seems to be well, we even have the Crystal Heart.”

Twilight frowned “All we need is is the Crystal Princess, whoever that is.”

Rydia facehooved “It’s Princess Cadence, the Cutie Mark is the Crystal Heart.” Rydia sighed as Twilight’s mouth dropped “I thought it was obvious, hmm maybe being an one billion year Alicorn has made me too sharp?”

Cecil walked over “I’ll go get the Princess, we might as well get this over with.” Rydia nodded in agreement, Cecil flew off with a smile. He landed on the balcony of Cadence’s room and knocked.

After a few moments Shining Armour opened the door and frowned “Why are you here, Cadence needs rest?!”

Cecil grimaced “Well the Crystal Faire requires the Crystal Princess in order to activate the Crystal Heart and get rid of that bastard permanently .”

Shining Armour blinked “Oh, that makes sense.”

Cecil grinned “I see you have already done it, that explains a lot.”

Cadence trotted over with yawn “Yes, he has done it, I’ll be down in a moment just let me have a quick shower.” Cecil frowned for a moment, he thought Cadence looked a little small for an Alicorn. He shook his head and flew out back to the group.

Cecil said with a smile “She’ll be coming soon, just give her time for a quick shower.”

Twilight smiled “Well then let’s get started.” He horn glowed and she shouted “Everypony, we are ready to begin the Crystal Faire and soon the crystal princess will reactivate the Crystal Heart protecting the empire from darkness!”

They watched in awe as the crystals ponies glowed as light returned to them their memories returning, the pony at the library smiled “I’m Amethyst Maresberry and I am the Crystal Librarian.”

Rydia smiled “I’m Rydia adopted daughter of King Cecil and guardian of the Immortal City, I love reading.” Twilight watched as her friends were happily playing games while Pinkie Pie was loudly playing the Crystal Flugelhorn to the delight of the Crystal Ponies, none of them unnerved by the pink Changeling Queen.

Cadence flew down looking much cleaner and fresher than before, she smiled “My precious ponies, I am Cadenza Mi Amore the Crystal Princess today we will reignite the love lost by this grand empire and show the world the true power of love.” She pressed her horn to the heart and it’s glow flowed over the whole city crystallising all the ponies in the city.

Sombra meanwhile was hit with the edge of the blast his shadowy from vanishing leaving a small red horn lying in the snow. Sombra thought to himself (They think they have seen the last of me, they would be wrong I will…) Sombra panicked as Edge picked up the horn (No,no,no leave me alone) the Draconequus ignored his please as he crushed the horn ending Sombra forever.

Twilight turned to Cecil “What will you do now?”

Cecil frowned “Well, we can’t just dissapear after coming here, we will have to do some diplomacy with your Princesses and on the way we will tell you our history.”

Twilight’s eyes shined as he summoned a long parchment and quill in preparation, Cecil simply laughed.
