The Queen got off her throne and walked to the windows. "Six months ago a dragon that no one recognized attack my kingdom for no reason and declared war on us. He was black all around with a fiery glow on his shoulders that traveled up his neck, on his tail, thighs, and center of his chest that spread out along the scale plates. Sharp spins, on his shoulders and his forearm just before the elbow, spine fins on his neck and tail, both glowed, a sharp spade on his tail and amber eyes. Not long after he attack he gathered an army of darkers and have been attacking us for two and a half months before I could summon both Allan, Spyro and Cynder, however Cynder didn't come for a very good reason, she and Spyro have kids." The girls congratulated Spyro before she continued. "It has been six months now and it seems we are no closer to ending this civil war then when we started. So far we have sustained heavy loses, many injured to where healing crystals take longer to heal our wounded. If only we can talk to their leader and call off this war, but I don't see that happening, who ever he is he's good in combat, killed four of my elite soldiers by himself without so much as a scratch."
"Is there anyway we can help?" Cadence asked.
"Not unless your magic can penetrate dragon scales and kill those foul monsters then I'm afraid I don't see much use for you seven in the battle field. Now don't get me wrong, you all had a hand in Shadow's down fall but this is dragon vs dragon combat, something you need to be well trained in."
"What are darkers?" Twilight asked.
"Dragons that have un-natural dark elements and then enhanced by black magic, increasing everything, their elements, speed, strength, it depends on what their element is and what kind of dragon they are. And not just dragons, humanoid crystal golems, they move, and fight like me, made up of stone and ice, their weapons, the same." Allan said. "I'm going to check on the men." He said before leaving.
Know it was Spyro, the girls and the Queen. "Your grace shall I find a room for our unexpected quests?"
"That would be a good idea Master Spyro, please do." Spyro bowed before her grace before he led the girls down a hall with a few doors.
"Here you have my room but you will most likely find me in my tent next to Allan's and you girls will be right across just to be safe."
"Thank you Spyro, but is there truly nothing we can do to help?" Twilight asked.
"I'm afraid there isn't I've only learned about darkers three days before I went into battle, Allan was here before me and told me what we're up against. But seeing as we have some time before I'm called back into action, what has been happening sense we left?"
"Will the girls all got married and have kids, Twilight and Zephyr have two, Violet Star and Night Sky, Rarity married a pegasus named Kyle and have a daughter, GemStone. Rainbow, Quibble pants, Pinkie, and Cheese sandwich have triplets, Lightning and Thunder Dash and Prisim, then the tri pies, Straw berry, Blue berry, and Cherry. Applejack and Hector got hooked up, and have two kids, I can't remember their names, Fluttershy and Discord have a unique daughter named Screwball, and I have a second daughter, Lily. Rebuilding has been going on for two years but now complete, Celestia stepped down and Luna took her position until she is ready to take back her place. So know tell us how was life with Cynder before you were dragged into this."
"Great, our kids are six years old, Aleron, our eldest son looks a lot like me, and the oldest by a few days, then Kate she is a purple dragon that looks more like her mom as dose her twin brother Flash. A few years ago Allan has fully rebuilt the Northern Temple, it was the first dragon temple ever built, the guardians hopefully you'll meet them are preparing for the year of the dragon. A year when all the brooding mother's go to the temple and lay their eggs there. As Cadence already knows, Allan has been training young dragons in the Northren mountain temple to start a new generation of guardians. And up until now everything was quiet."
"So do you have any idea as to who this new villain Is?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Not a clue." Spyro said shaking his head.
"And what was with all the girls swarming you?"
"That's been going on for a while, the new guy attacked the city head on and while the army was busy I fought him, and yes that's how I got my scars, the fact that we are low on healing crystals I used some of my light to heal it, but ended up just scaring over. And I must admit the new guy's good, he might even come into second place right behind Shadow. So know all the girls still show how much that one fight ment to them. So they hug me, kiss me, some even offered to mate, but I'm taken and I'm not like some other dragons who would cheat on their mates."
A loud boom could be heared and the castle guards rushed by them. "In your room Now!" Spyro ordered before he rushed off after the guards. The girls went into their rooms but Twilight ran after Spyro. Running outside he saw Allan taking on one of the ice golems, it stood eight feet tall, made out of blue ice, the thickest ice there is and stone. It had a body similar to Allan, it walked on two stone legs, flat feet, it's waist was ice up to its chest that was stone, except for the middle, hands, forearms and shoulders were stone, ice jutting out, the biceps was ice, and it had a crystal head. It wielded a large hook like sword, and was matching Allan blow for blow. Racing out Spyro charged up a fire ball, but was taken out by a tail strike sending him into a house, clearing the ruble on him he saw the leader of the army.
"Round two purple one." He growled.
"Gladly."
The two dragons started circling each other, sizing up the competition. The older dragon striked first with a fire ball, one Spyro countered with an earth orb, then he launched at the dragon, and before he could be swatted away he vanished in purple flash, reappearing behind the dragon and blasting him with aether, sending him into the house he slammed Spyro into. Swiftly turning around he launched at the purple dragon, jaws wide open, but he disengaged as he saw an icy shine to the dragon and blasted the real dragon with a fire ball as he charged at him going to ram him. The blast sent him tumbling through the streets, tearing up the icy streets. Getting up he spun around at high speeds that he created a wind blade, and he landed a hit on his foe, sending him over Allan's and the golems heads, taking to the air he fired an ice bomb and it hit the dragons chest, freezing him solid as he landed. Spyro watched before he made a move and sure enough the dragon lit up his entire body in flames, bursting out of his icy prison.
"That's new." Spyro said, a bit impressed by the move.
The dragon took to the air but stopped, however the fire that surrounded him continued to charge at Spyro, moving in a purple blur he went through the attack and it continued skyward, he then fired an aether ball, one that was countered by a fire ball. The dragon preformed a barrel roll and launched three fire balls, each one striking the purple dragon, knocking him out of the air and into the streets below. The impact was hard enough to skip him along the street a few times, breaking the ice each time he hit the ground. Rushing out to her friend, Twilight came to Spyro's side as the larger dragon landed.
"What do we have here?
"Stay away from my friend."
"HAHAHAHA..What Will you do Vaperis me?"
Twilight called upon her magic and charged it up and before he knew it, he got blasted by a full blast from possibly the most powerful alicorn from Equestria, the blast sent him and the golem, as Allan ducked a swing, back into the battle field. Getting back up he smiled. "Well well...It seems we have a new player in town, time to eliminate her." The dragon charged back into the city, engulfed in a comet dash, Twilight was terrified at the speed he was coming at, and as he zeroed in a wall of ice blocked his path and he crashed through it. Getting up, Spyro charged himself with lightning and was gone before Twilight could blink, ramming his foe in the chest, unleashing his lightning upon the the dragon, getting to roar in pain as the lightning coursed through his body. Backing away Spyro unleashed a beam of aether hitting the dragon center of his body and sending him far back on the field, he hovered there waiting to see what this new villain will do. Getting up he left the field and headed back to his lair. Sighing in relief Spyro flew down and glared at Twilight.
"What were you thinking Twilight?" In the throne room, the girls, Spyro and Allan circled the violet alicorn, Cadence lecturing her. "I know you want to help, we all do but we can't harm them, your most powerful attack just pushed him back and now you placed a target on your back, maybe on all of us. If we really want to help then we get our orders from the Queen, or Allan or Spyro, and not do what ever we want, this isn't our world its theirs and they know their foes better then us. And if they don't know one then we don't get involved until they know who or what they are up against."
"She's right, this dragon is strong with the fire element, as in guardian level, and the guardians are master's of their elements. If he used Amberous fury, better known as the fire fury you would be dead and that street destroyed. We can't take in necessary risks, what will Cadence tell Zephyr and the kids? I appreciate that you want to help but your a mom now you just can't do foolish things like that."
"But I want to help you like you helped us."
"If that is the case then, you will be helping General Allan with whatever he asks you to do, don't argue and if you all want to help then you will take orders from Master Spyro and General Allan and I don't want to hear any complains." The Queen said. Everyone bowed to her before they left the room.
"Spyro see to our guests go to their room, Applejack, Rarity come with me I got a job for you two." Allan said. Spyro led the girls to their chamber while Allan took the two outside, over looking a crystal garden not to far away. "I need you two to gather as many crystals as you can, take a sack and fill it with red and green crystals, don't worry about the other two. Applejack if you can break them then Rarity can fill the sack or sacks if you bring more then one, and I'm making this your job, the nurses will need those crystals to heal our soldiers."
"You can count on us partner." Applejack said.
"Indeed darling." Rarity said before teleporting her and AJ to the gardens. Rarity marveled at the crystals, red, green, purple, and blue, snapping back to reality as she heard Applejack breaking a crystal.
"And how are we support to carry these back you brought us here without any bags." Asked Applejack.
"Simple darling." Rarity summoned her magic and their saddle bags appeared. Putting them on, the girls got to work on filling their bags with the crystals Allan required, and Rarity aims to never disappoint her clients requests. An hour past before both of their bags were full. "Alright shall we go back?" Applejack nodded and Rarity teleported them back to the army camp and made their way to the nurses.
"Excuse us but we have some crystals for you." Rarity said gaining the attention of one nurse.
"Please put them over there." She pointed to a large table, dumping their saddle bags another nurse took the shards and planted a few and others took what they needed, within a few minutes the shards that were planted grew into full crystals surprising the mares.
"Thank you very much will you be willing to help?"
"General Allan told us to gather the crystals that you need to heal your wounded so we will be helping you."
"Again thank you what do we call you?"
"I'm Rarity and this is Applejack."
"Taylor, it will be a pleasure working with you young ladies."
"Like wise I'm sure." Rarity said and started helping bring crystals to the wounded, while Applejack separated them.

It has been quiet for a few days, soldiers were healing faster thanks to Rarity and Applejack gathering crystals but Allan kept thinking on how to get the other girls helping as well. Sitting in his large tent he racked his brain trying to figure out what would be the best position for their guests? Then he had some ideas and went to the castle, asking for the girls. All five were sitting in front of the Queen.
"Ok here is how I see things, Rainbow Dash, you have the speed and best eyesight when your up high, you will be our scout, watching out for any darkers then report back to me so we can get the upper hand. Cadence, if it's alright with the Queen you will stay here and do what you do best, Rainbow, myself or Spyro will report to you. Fluttershy, Pinkie you two try and keep the civilians at peace, make them happy and worry less, but do be careful of what you say, for some have lost families. And lastly Twilight. You will stay in the city and if any darkers enter the city you will help Spyro get them out before any unwanted damage can be done."
The girls nodded and headed out to their posts, and the Queen motioned Allan to stay. "I like your plan Master Allan but are you confident in their abilities to preform during the many battles to come?"
"Your grace, they have proven they can take orders when we assaulted both Twilight's castle and Cantorlot, they will do what is asked of them no questions asked. Most of the time."
"Very well then that will be all."
"Wait. Before you go you should know that Twilght is acting a little off, I can't explain it but she seems out of sorts to me." Cadence said.
"Then I'll keep an eye on her, we all will." With that Allan left the room and headed outside where the girls were performing their tasks, Pinkie was putting on a show for dragons to watch, Rainbow was high in the sky, "RD make your way to the watch towers I'll be there shortly." Saluting him she took off towards the city wall. Continuing his stroll he saw that everything was going smoothly with their help, coming to the first watch tower, he went in, climbed the stairs till he reached the top.
"Commander Micheal this is Rainbow Dash, she will be our scout, she will aid your lookout from high above, you will be the first one she reports to so we can get our troops ready."
"Copy that Geaneral Allan."
Leaving the watch tower, Allan headed for the medical tent and saw a number of his men looking more lively then when he last saw them. "Looking good in here."
"Isn't it though, the young mares you sent here are a gift from the ancestors, they bring us plenty of crystal shards, and after we told them to keep a few in the gardens so more can grow, they have made sure that the garden is full before they come here. Some men will be battle ready within the next three days at best."
"Excellent, tell them to keep up the good work, oh and give the men that are close to ready spirit gems to help boost their strength."
"Will do General."
Smiling he left the tent and walked over to his own tent, sat in his long chair, closed his eyes and fell asleep. Over at Spyro's tent, where he spends most of his down time, he was sitting by a full communication crystal, talking to Cynder. "Hey honey how are things up there?" She asked
"Good, good you won't believe who is here...our colorful mare friends from Equestria."
"Are you pulling my leg?"
"Wish I was, they are here, Allan gave them specific jobs so they stay out of the fighting, so far they seem to be doing alright, no complains yet."
"I bet that threw you two for a loop, how's that shoulder doing?"
"Alright I guess, it has its days were it hurts, how are you holding up by yourself?"
"Actually Caelos came by a month ago seeing if I wanted some company. And I don't know what it looks like over there but it is the second month of spring and that is me season."
"Right, sorry I can't be there to help."
"Hey don't worry about it, Caelos is here to keep me company. No I don't intend on mating with him, if I can help it plus the kids are calling him uncle, hehe..."
"Glade the kids are having fun. And I'll try to be there for your next heat." Hearing the flap of his tent move, he looked over his shoulder and saw Cadence. "Hey babe I got to go Cadence is here."
"Ok hey Cadence."
"Hey Cynder."
"Love you hon, bye."
"Love you too sweety bye." Turning around he looked at the alicorn princess. "What can I do for you?"
"Her grace and I would like to see you and Allan."
"Ok his tent is two tents over."
Cadence nodded and both left Spyro's tent, the purple dragon turned left and Cadence headed right for Allan's tent, moments later they were standing around a map of the land, the Queen and Cadence explained their plan to attack their base in hopes of them either surrendering of kill them off. Though Allan liked the plan, he saw one fatal problem, they were in an area that has many underground tunnels, giving them plenty of escape routes or ambush areas, so unless they light up the tunnels they still had the upper hand.
"And let's not forget our mystery villain is strong with the fire element." Spyro said.
"Agreed he's on par with Ignitus, fire guardian." Allan added.
"So what would you suggest? We can't battle it out too long, if the portal opens to our home world in two months we can have a massacre if this dragon enters that portal." Cadence said
"I know but we need to think this through if we try to block all their routes they can burrow out and attack." Allan said.
"Why not collapse the top of the cave, then wait for them to come out and strike."
Just then Rainbow came bursting through the balcony doors. "Hey guys we got company, with your fiery friend." She said before telling everyone to get back inside.
"This can wait, Spyro take him out of the sky."Allan said.
Taking off like a bat out of hell, Spyro flew right for the villain while Allan ran through the castle, out the door, through the camp, through the opening in the wall and collided with a crystal golem, cutting it to ribbons. Above the two dragons slammed into each other, with the force of a freight train slamming into each other, clawing, biting trying to push the other down. Eventually the larger dragon got the upper hand, kicked Spyro off him and fired a fire ball at him, landing a direct him the impacted slammed Spyro down into the ground, waisting no time he unleashed a barrage of fire balls, getting up, Spyro looked up and cursed, evading the small metiores and as the last one came down, he used his tail and whacked it back. The attack surprised the dragon and got hit by his own attack taking him out of the air. As he fell a purple beam slammed into his side pushing him further away, looking at the city wall he saw Twilight.
"Get out of here." Spyro shouted.
"No my job is to help you!" Twilight shouted back.
"In the..." A redish, orange glow caught his eye and saw the dragon charging a massive fire attack, taking to the air Spyro created a purple field around him and Twilight just as the attack struck, holding the shield together, Spyro grunted under the strain of the attack. After the attack finished, Spyro collapsed from strain gasping for breath, Twilight urged him to stand as the dragon closed the distance. Standing up and shaky legs, Spyro unleashed a beam of aether striking the dragon out of the sky before the strain got to him and collapsed. Fury followed through the dragon and he summoned that fury to be unleashed, looking up, Allan saw the attack coming and put a shield around himself as the fire fury was unleashed, causing a devastating ring of fire that enveloped everything in its path friend and foe alike. Meteorites rain from the sky crashing into the city wall, battering the battle field, bouncing off Allan's shield, and he could only watch the devastation around him. As soon as the attack ended, a fast blur followed by a sonic rainboom slammed the fire dragon out of the sky, seeing an opening Allan ran at the falling dragon, leaping into the air for the final blow to end this war but got tackled out of the air by a wyvren. Rolling to to a stop, he looked at his attacker as it gave a low warning roar, standing in a defensive stance, wings tucked to its side, head lowered to face Allan and paced back and forth. Grabbing his sword that laid next to him, Allan stood up and faced the wyvren, the two circled each other, the wyvren attacked first, jaws wide open, swinging his blade, Allan looped off the top of its head, spun counter clockwise and looped off the head of another by cutting off its neck. Waiting for a third the dragon that started it all got up and tail striked Allan, sending him into the city wall. "Push forward." He ordered, but a distant ringing caught his and the others attention, immediately they started to fall back as the sound of the aether attack was charging up. Moving away from the city a glowing Spyro unleashed the most powerful attack of any dragon and it tore up the battle field killing a number of darkers but some still managed to pull away to safety, back to their ice cave. Having drained every ounce of energy from his body Spyro fell from the sky, both Twilight and Rainbow Dash caught and carried him back to camp, before he left, Allan saw a darker crawling away, his hand glowed a light green and he levitated the darker back to camp for interrogation.
At the medical tent, Rarity and Applejack came back with their bags full of green and red crystals and the nurse placed them around Spyro and they started glowing, while the girls sat around Spyro. Screams of pain filled the dungeon of the palace as Allan interrogated their prisoner, the third wyvren he waited for. Slamming a stone covered fist into its stomach he shouted. "Where is you hide out?"
"Up your arse."
Slamming his fist into the creatures chest he shouted the question again but got another insult. "Fine you want to play tough..." Allan walked away, grabbed his sword and unsheathed it, watching the wyvren try to break free from its restarainsts. "This can be as painful as you like. You can tell me what I want to know and you can be free or I can draw blood and you scream as you slowly bleed to death." Before anyone could say a word green mist stared to seep into the room, the guards coughed but then an explosion blasted the door and wall apart and Poisionbreak slithered in bit the wyvren with his lethal venom and slithered on out slashing at Casi's right hind leg making a chase impossible and made his escape through a vapor of poisonous gas. Allan cursed as the pulse on the wyvren was gone, instantly killed by the venom and the Queen and Cadence came down only to see the blast hole in the dungeon, a dead prisoner, guards on the floor and a ice powdered Allan.
"What happen?" They asked in unison.

Having explained that Poisionbreak attack, killed their prisoner and wounded Casi, Allan was now concerned about a surprise attack like that, if Poisionbreak can enter the kingdom without raising the alarms then that would be a very real threat to not just the Queens safety but the whole kingdoms safety, if anyone is exposed to his poisonous vapour long enough then it's game over and they loose the war.
Far to South the enemy was healing the wounded, their leader laid on his stone throne, as dark magic slowly healed his wounds, a darker walked up to him. "My Lord Poisonbreak has arrived."
"Send him here." The servant bowed and left, moments later the black, serpent walked to his leader. "Yes my Lord."
"I see your mission was a success."
"Yes, didn't even alert the guards, seeing that none had the chance the scream to warn the others. I even wounded Casi on the way out."
"Impressive. Hmm that gives me an idea one that can win us this war."
"And that would be..?"
"Attack them from below, burrow under the city then strike, and I want you to use your most powerful attack upon the city."
"It would be my pleasure my Lord."
Walking off he made his way to his burrow, a picture of a long snake like dragon, grey scales, long hook like spikes, a silver dragoness with a dark grey underside, himself and Casi. His father the feared land serpent who fell in love with the silver dragoness and had him and Casi but when the Dark war broke out against Malefor his father perished in battle by who, he didn't know but his mother died from a fatal wound on her side, she bled out before she could be saved. She used the last of her strength to freeze them in a time crystal before her final breath left her. Poisonbreak turned dark because he lost his family to war while Casi moved to Warfang became friends with the legendary purple dragon and found a mate. That is why Casi is the only one who can withstand his poison, he was his twin brother, born at the same time on the same day. Had things been different then perhaps he might be fighting along side Casi and not against him.
Putting the picture down he turned and fell asleep. Up above the darkers were all settling down for the night, all but their leader he could only imagine a quick victory and the death of the purple dragon. He relished at the thought of getting the better of the most famous dragon in the dragon realm.
Farther to the South in the enchanted forest was a house made from solid stone, crafted by the earth dragons in the West in the Mountain Fortress, Cynder sat on the balcony that was outside the master bedroom watching a grey and yellow dragon, with dark yellow wings with light yellow markings, light grey markings on his body, horns, spine fins and tail like Spyro's play with a dark purple dragoness, with a golden underside, fin spins, horns like Cynder's as well as two side horns and check spikes. Green eyes, with Cynder's thumb blade, and a red and orange dragon that carried Cynder's features as well.
"They are beautiful kids." Came a calm voice, as Caelos drapped a wing over Cynder.
"They are. Soon Spyro and I will be training them to see what elements they poses, Aleron is an electric/ wind dragon but I wonder if he and his siblings have more then one element."
"Like you said he's a bio elemental dragon, as for Katie I'm not too sure I mean she is a purple dragon, she could hold all of them and Flash looks like an ordinary fire dragon but then again he is yours and Spyro's son so it's possible."
"Could be right on that
"Hey Cyn while the young ones are out playing are you up for a massage?"

Up North, night has fallen early and everything was calm, the night shift stood watch on the watch towers, Rainbow Dash was with them until eleven thirty then she called it a night, many of the wounded were in better condition thanks to Applejack and Rarity going back and forth to the gardens. Many civilians were sleeping with a smile on their faces because of Equestria's party pony, Pinkie and the calm, happy attitude of Fluttershy but all was not to last as down below the ice a small sqadrent of darkers lead by Poisonbreak and their leader tunnelled under the city. "Stop we're in perfect position. Poisonbreak let them have it." Smiling, the black serpent like dragon started burrowing up to the surface, once he was separated by a thin layer of ice, he then charged his breath attack and let it loose shattering the ice above and that caused his green fire to spread out in all directions. Waisting no time he jumped out and immediately attack a near by guard, biting his neck and pumping venom into him. Soon the others all came out of the hole and started destroying the city. The loud commotion awoke Allan and Spyro and they both came out of their tents and saw the city ablaze, rushing out they saw the city guards were runned down and killed, civilians out on the street either dead or being raped. "And knowing you, you have a plan." Cynder said.
"Naturally, it was part of being a general. But in this case I don't, not yet anyway."
"So what can this particular crystal do?" Rarity asked, eyeing the gem. It shined a rich purple when it wasn't pulsing with black magic.
"Rejuvenation, heal wounds that would naturally be fatal, like a direct hit from blue lightning but seeing as we were close to his chambers he must have crawled there and healed before leaving. Increase ones use in the Dark arts, that's why Shadow was more careful when he fought in your world, without this he had no connection to his powers, but that made him no less dangerous. And I'm sure our friend is a novice necromancer otherwise this would have drained his powers and life in minutes."
"Would it be a safe bet if we split up, some of us go with one of them to the other locations to protect it and dig up some old books about ancient relics? And if we encounter him we summon the other half and teleport them to our location?" Cadence asked, getting Allan to think.
"Not a bad idea, Spyro you and whomever you pick will go to the fortress, Cynder you and the rest, Warfang. I must travel to the first temple and search through the library see if I missed anything, and the elven scrolls I saved from my home Lorien."
"Ok, let's hope we get this guy and end him for good this time." Spyro said as Allan vanished. "Ok Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight, your with me."
"That leaves Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Cadence with me, but...uh hun? The kids? Who will look after them?" The question got Spyro thinking, they are grounded until they find a sitter, thing were easier when they didn't have kids, mainly in this kind of predicament.
"Of course I'd look after your kids." Caelos said with a smile on his face.
"Thank you, we don't know how long we'll be gone but we will pay you..."
"Spyro, you and I have been friends after your worldly travelers, you don't need to pay me. The world is in danger and as our saviour it is your calling to protected it, beside I'm uncle Caelos to those little monsters of yours and that alone is better then being paid."
Smiling, Spyro hugged his friend and thanked him again before he took off and the wind dragon went back in to grab some things before he headed out to the Twilight forest. Over at the house Cynder had the girls pack their saddle bags, they didn't know how long they will be at their assigned location, but one thing was for sure...they weren't coming home until the mission was complete. Arriving back home Spyro told Cynder that Caelos was going to watch the kids, glade they found a sitter they kissed each other before parting with their party.
To the North, Allan was back at the temple and made his way upstairs to the library and pulled out books and scrolls from the artifacts section, sitting on the couch by the window he began skimming through each page.
The legend of Spyro: ponies in the dragon realm
Flying over the sea, Spyro along with Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie pie were closing in on the Mountain Fortress, carring two ponies was different for Spyro, he was use to giving his kids a ride but two fully grown ponies was another. Going into the mountain range, Spyro kept an eye out for the fortress, " There," he said, pointing at a mountain from far way it looked like any other mountain but upon closer inspection they saw the details of a fortress. The front gates was carved with in the mountain, balconies above the gates, open windows for natural lighting, two stone dragons stood guard. Landing they walked through the gates and the girls couldn't believe their eyes, a Kingdom built inside the mountain. Carved into the walls were homes as earth dragons wondered about the Kingdom, moving along they saw hallways leading further into the mountain and though she wanted to explore, Twilight remained with the group as the continued on their path.
Nearly half an hour passed before they reached the throne room, "Hault, I'm sorry Master Spyro but the King is in an important meeting."
"I understand but I come with an urgent message from general Allan." The two looked at each other before looking back at the purple dragon and his companions.
"Very well, but only you can enter, your, uh...companions must stay out here."
"Thank you." The two opened the doors and he walked in quietly as the countsal dragons, the King and the Prince listened to the bekering of the elder dragons. The Prince, a tan and black dragon saw Spyro out of the corner of his eyes. "Gentel drakes I believe we have an un announced visitor." Looking back they saw Spyro sitting there quietly, waiting for the chattering to be done.
"Excuse us Master Spyro but we are in a meeting and..."
"I bring a message from general Allan one that must be heard."
The room fell silent, "Very well then, you may proceed." The King said, his voice deeper than Terrador.
"In the event of the previous attack on the Northern Kingdom, we believe a fire dragon has used a dark crystal, one similar to Shadow's and is believed to attack here or Warfang. Cynder and a small group of allies are going to Warfang, if not already there, while I was assigned to come here with the other half of the party. As for the general he returned to the mountain temple to search for any artifacts that are still active, we believe this dragon is either looking for such artifacts or is recruiting darkers to attack here. We each have a crystal in case we encounter him."
"How strong is this dragon?" asked one of the elders.
"Strong enough to challenge me, and is very strong with the fire element as to be the next fire guardian if he wasn't evil."
"Thank you Master Spyro, countsal drakes you will head to the archives and find what you can about active artifacts that can aid this dragon, son you will assemble the troops and get them ready for an invation and Spyro...may we see your allied friends?"
Nodding he called in the three girls and the dragons stared at them with confused and disbelief looks. As for the three mares they saw the dragons, the one on the throne was an olive drap green, a lighter color for his chest, horns that resembled Spyro's, two cheek spikes on either side that his his side burns, small spikes at the base of his horns with sharp rock patches on his shoulders and a razor sharp rock spade at the end of his tail. Three spikes on his massive wings, two on top and the third a quarter from the bottom, his wings were darker than his scales.
As for the Prince, he was more of a khaki yellow-brown with a black underside, he had his father's horns, and tail, he stood nearly two heads over Spyro. "Uuhh...no offence my friend but how can three ponies help in a dragon war?"
"I know their small but remember I wasn't much bigger when I defeated Malefor a decade ago, but please Felspar hear me out. Six years ago myself and Cynder got suck into a vortex and landed in their world where Shadow was as well, it took a few months to get use to the place and defeat him, these ponies are good when it comes to defending their home even against a tyrant like Shadow. Twilight is one out of five princesses in their world and can help going through scrolls...As long as she has a translator handy. Applejack is strong enough to kick down a mature tree, sure an easy feat for a dragon but she can also break our crystals. She did this in the battle for the North, helping heal the wounded. And Pinkie Pie...well let's say you don't want to get on her bad side.
The King started thinking over what Spyro had said, "very well Spyro, seeing you trust them, they are yours but if they do not follow an order they will be pulled off and sit this battle out, is that understood?"
"It is your majesty, but please King Terrenus, don't judge them to hastly. Twilight go with the elders to the archives and please don't touch anything except book and scrolls unless they say you can."
"Got it, umm which way is it?"
"Follow us young princess, and do try to keep up." One of the elders said walking by them and Twilight followed the elders as Spyro and the others figured out the best possible places for the two girls.
"If the pink one is unique as you say then she will help protect the gates."
"Okie dokie lokie." Pinkie said hopping away, leaving Applejack left to sort out.
"You said she's strong for a pony? Able to break crystals, then she will also help with the front gates until we need crystals, I will show you where the medical wing and the crystals are. As for you my friend...feel free to help where it's needed."
"Thank you King Terrenus." Spyro walked off as the King led the farm pony to the medical room, explaining that they use their own magic to heal the wounded but uses crystals to rejuvenate themselves or help the injured if they get over whelmed but that hasn't happed in ages. Down in the archives Twilight's eyes lite up like a Christmas tree thousands of ancient books, scrolls, artifacts all will taken cared of looking down the elder smiled at her expression.
"Please fell free to roam about but to take great care of the artifacts they are as ancient as the mountains history." He said walking over to a particular shelf and started bringing books down, creating a small nest around him, laying down he flipped open a book and got into it. As for the purple alicorn she roamed the hall scanning the shelves, a golden tag with un-none writting on it with the common tongue under it.
"What's this language on the tags?"
"Dwarvish, they built this fortress before returning to the Northren Mountains, trade there was better then having to wait for vessels that may get attack by who know what under the waves. The self behind you and the six before it is their history...well only on the island. Translator is on the fourth shelf."
Walking up to the shelf she saw a chart with the dwarven writting and the common tongue under it, like the tags. Going back to the shelf, Twilight grabbed one of the books using her magic and started reading and as she speed read she found a picture of a dwarf. Only six inches taller then herself, he had a thick bushy beard, long hair, an axe in one hand and a sword on his back the dwarf wore a tabard, chain mail under it, gloves underneath arm guards, thick leather boots with a steel cap over the toes. "So that's a dwarf." Twilight said to herself, it had similar features to Allan, but comparing the two in her head Allan was taller, leaner and moved with lightning speed. The dwarf seemed to have a thicker build, and looked slower but having two weapons showed it was no push over when it came to battles.
"Don't let their thicker build fool you young princess, a dwarf is an excellent warrior, masters of forging weapons of war, they started crafting this place before being called back to Nidavellir and join Allan in the great war. But their race was wiped out during that war as well as their famous kingdom."
"None survived?!"
"No, not even going deeper underground could have saved them from Shadow's wrath."
Up above Pinkie was hopping along one of the balconies that were over the front gates, and saw nothing but mountains and the sea. "Pretty view, why would somebody ever want to attack this place?" She asked but she was alone, not that it bothered her. Tasting the stone, she then knocked on it, "meh seems strong enough." Shaking her mane and tail, parts on a cannon fell from her hair, quickly assembling a rather large cannon. "Ok big bertha time to defend a dragon kingdom." She sat by her cannon and waited, and waited, and waited soon she fell asleep, Applejack came up and shook her head bringing the pink pony a blanket as night approached.
In his own private chambers, Spyro looked out the window watching the sunset as it slipped behind a hidious face carved out of stone, and thinking about his children. Back in the forest Caelos was rushing the kids in as it started to rain heavily, "come on, get in, get in." All three got in as the rain poured down and the wind dragon looked outside and watch as the storm moved from the North, covering the East and West coasts. "There is a storm brewing Spyro I just hope your ready for it to strike.
In the Northren Mountains Allan also watch as the storm moved over head from within the door way of the temple as lightning strikes across the sky. The tension in the air was that of a final battle getting ready to be under way and Allan still had found nothing on any artifacts that could pose such a threat to them and the world, but nonetheless he was prepared for a war that was yet to come.
Morning dawned and Twilight came up with the elder declaring that there was nothing of value on the island, coming to the front gate they saw Spyro staring off in the distance, "Spyro, you alright sugar cube?" But he didn't reply instead she walked over and looked in the direction he was looking and saw the mountain.
"It was called the Mountain of Malefor or the Well of Souls the most well known mountain fortress in the realm, it was there I faced Gaul to rescue Cynder, and it was there we faced him again to save our eggs. If our mystery dragon is anywhere its got to be there this one is too secluded for most dragons to find, I'll go check the place out."
"Not without us your not." Turning around he saw Twilight and Felspar, nodding the flew off towards the mountain not sure of what they will find. Coming closer to the Well of Souls Twilight got the shivers just by looking at the place, a round roof over the entrance, the walls had spikes on top and all around a spooky green glow flowed thfough the cracks along the sides. Landing at the front gates they walked through what was left of the main entrance, and coming out they came to an open area with green gems all along the wall and a door on the other side. Broken walls that once held some thing behind them, they came to the stone door and Felspar broke it down and Spyro peeked inside, the laser that was once there no longer existed as the stone face was gone, the hall seemed in rather good condition and they strolled through coming to a large opening that had a large door, stair case and another door but the bigger door had rusty chains on it and Spyro had no intention of going through them, as he could only imagine where that door led to. Going through the smaller door they circled around a small statue of the dark master himself before leaving the room and into a similar opening that was near the front, scattered armor worn by apes littered the ground broken gates near a large hole that had the strange liquid in it.
"What is that stuff?" Twilight asked.
"Green lava, colder than regular lava but no less dangerous." Spyro replied.
Moving along they walked down a tunnel that led them to an opening where they flew upwards before they continued following the path before they glided down, looking for anything that seemed out of place and for Spyro it was easy having traveled this path before but the other two simple followed seeing the inside of the fortress for the very first and possible last time. Following the railing they came to a large pool of the green lave, taking to the air they flew towards an opening that again had more lave but at the top of a platform was a door and like before Spyro checked for a laser but the hall seemed more damaged than the first and they soon found themselves looking at a large round platform.
"You ok Spyro?" Felspar asked as his friend stared at the platform.
"Yeah just...this is where a number of ghouls that wandered the place faught me, I'm just being cautious that's all."
Leaping onto the platform they saw broken shields, weapons and armor on it, lucky them no evil spirit took up the armor as they hopped from one small one to another before reaching a door moving passed it they again took to the sky as no floating platforms were there to help them up and came to a third opening similar to the two lower down on the mountain summoning his earth power, Spyro blasted an earth missile to remove the ruble and the door behind it and without its laser they moved along before hopping onto platforms that led to a tunnle, coming out the other side Twilght got her first look at Malefor as a giant statue of him was at the far corner, it seemed in rather good condition after Spyro's last visit. They jumped up and followed a path that lead outside and they flew up to the mouth of the mountain but it had collapsed in on itself.
"This is were I used a time fury to encase myself, Sparx and Cynder from the crumbling walls for three years. It's were I got cursed with my dark form, and defeated Gaul, the ape King. Nothing seemed out of place so he's not here."
"So what now?" Asked Twilight.
"Head back and wait for Allan's orders, it's all we can do."

Weeks pass and neither one of the three groups found anything concrete, Allan called everyone to temple island, though the guardians have felt for the day, the girls still got to explore the temple. "Here is the pool of visions, where...Ignitus use to see glimpse of the future or of current events and now Kindle, his cousin and newest fire guardian watches the pool." Spyro said as they saw the green water swirl in the pool, looking around them they saw moss covered parts of the walls, and what appeared to be tree roots hanged from the roof. Coming to a large round room with a dragon statue in the center, "and this is the dojo, or the training room."
"But how can you train if the statue is there?" Twilight asked and Cynder smiled
"Like this." Walking up to it the ground started shaking as the floor opened and the statue sank beneath it as the floor closed and stuffed dummies appeared from two different doors on either side. "Go ahead hit them...they don't bite." Cynder said looking at the mares.
"Oh what the heck, why not?" Cadence shrugged and blasted one of the dummies then the rest started running around scared. Rainbow smiled and chased one towards Applejack as she then bucked it into a wall.
"Yee-haw this is fun." She shouted and chased down another, Pinkie was some how riding one, Spyro and Cynder looked at each other of all their years they have never seen such a scene and burst out laughing. Twilight weaved through and blasted one to splinters and saw that each time they struck a critical hit the dummies vanished in a puff of smoke. Fluttershy stayed near the dragons and watch as Rainbow and Applejack made two dummies run into each other, Rarity, Twilight and Cadence crashed theirs into each other with their magic. As they had their fun something felt off and Spyro looked around but saw nothing. "Spyro? Honey you ok?"
"Something feels off, can't you feel It?" She shook her head but watch as the six mares had their fun. Crashing the last two into each other the "commander" appeared, everything checked out normal but as Rainbow kicked its head off, a strange dark liquid re-grew the head.
"Uuuuhhh is that normal?"
"Get behind me now!" Spyro ordered and they did so without a moment hesitation as its club turned into a six bladed mace. The dummy walked towards the group and Spyro shot a stream of fire, the heat made the girls to cover their eyes as he roasted the dummy. Looking around him, they saw the fire did little to the dummy, "My turn," Cynder fired a stream of corrosive poison, and it melted its weapon and parts of its armor looking at each other they nodded and fired convexity and aether at the dummy, tearing it apart.
"What was that?" Rarity asked.
"No clue, all I can say is it wasn't normal it must be some kind of dark magic." Spyro said
"Should we tell Allan?" Cadence asked, walking up to Spyro
"I think he already knows..." Rainbow said, pointing to Allan as he walked into the room, carrying a dummy commander head.
"The temple is compromised we need to leave, grab the kids we're heading North."
"Back to the Northern Kingdom?" Rarity asked smiling.
"No somewhere a little more private. Meet me by the forest edge then we leave."
Nodding they headed home, not waisting time...Allan wasn't overly fund of others being slow, while Spyro and Cynder grabbed their kids, the girls packed their belongings and together flew towards the forest edge. From above they saw Allan and he ran off, using his elven speed, "Damn he's fast, and that's coming forming me." Rainbow said, watching as he left a dust trail, and they took off after him full speed, but as they closed the distance a portal opened and they all flew in, stopping when they came out.
"The temple, of course." Spyro said, looking at the ancient building.
"But didn't we leave the temple?" Twilight asked, looking rather confused, "besides this looks older."
"That is because this was the first dragon temple, this is where Allan trained with the original guardians." Spyro replied. Walking up the path, there was a large ring in a rather large pool of water, up above it was a second ring with a stone wall on one end with an arch way and a cliff that lead to the water below. Than they came up to what appeared to be the outer court yard, hay stuffed dummies on wooden posts, what appeared to be a stall of some sort, moving up was the inner court yard then the stair case to the temple. Large wooden doors with a dragon head in the middle, it was made from the same material as the other buildings in this realm, stand stone, a jade roof with stained glass, walking through the doors the girls and the younglings were amazed, it was much bigger then the one they left. To their far right were tables, rotten and falling apart, to their left, open space with few furniture and a small book shelf behind the tables was a fire pit and after that, more tables and a kitchen, "What's beyond that door?" Pinkie asked, pointing to the one on the right.
"The basement with the laboratory, and workshop." Allan answered, moving on they saw the hall split, " this door leads into the main trading ground, they other two outside the court yard are used to utilize their space when in combat, balance and so one."
"What about the dummy?" Applejack asked.
"For my daughter when we trained outside, practice her magic, and sword skills. The hall way to the right leads to the rookery and guardian chambers, hall way to your left leads to second floor. North side is the library, East end on the North side is the Evening room, mostly empty good place to relax, West hall, same thing, East side is the armory down to the South are the bedrooms for the younglings, my room is off limits but it is above the library...feel free to explore, I'll be in the library."
With that Allan head up and the others couldn't help but to roam, dropping their bags, they wandered, as did the dragons, though Spyro and Cynder had already the pleasure of being in the place, their kids didn't until know. Upstairs was as Allan said, the armory had a few weapons on racks, training forms on paper, diagrams on building specific weapons, a few chests against the walls, the Evening hall would have been a perfect party room, if there wasn't a pillar in the middle, according to party pony. Twilight made her way into the library and saw all the shelves covered in dust books and scrolls hundreds, maybe even thousands of years old, Rainbow and Applejack made their way to the laboratory just after Twilight played around before heading up, the equipment was nothing compared to what the mare was use to but it seemed top quality even to them. Rarity was checking the bedrooms, though they were temporarily used when the younglings weren't training, they still were quite comfy, the moss and heather matress helped on the stone frames, a large night stand for whatever they wanted to put on it. Fluttershy was in the West hall, it was rather empty except for a fire pit at the far end.
Downstairs the kids wandered into the guardians chamber, eight elemental symbols over the area where they used to sleep, one caught their eye, a black symbol with a white cresent moon on it, this was where Shadow slept. The place was over grown with moss as it hasn't been trimmed in years and they saw that each sign had a hidden door under it, but they decided not to open them, feeling it would be wrong.
Upstairs, Twilight made a nest around herself of books and scrolls, pleasure reading, where as Allan was sat down and read through scrolls of his home of Lorien, try as he may, he found nothing concrete that would be of value to this new villain.
"Hey this looks familiar, except it has a dragon on it." Twilight said, catching Allan's attention, walking up he looked at what she was looking at. "It reminds me of the alicorn amulet, a powerful artifact that can give a regular unicorn the power of an alicorn, very powerful but also very dangerous." Looking at the sketch it had a dragons head, with its wings over a stone or gem of some sort, "I can't make out the translation," she handed it to Allan who than spoke in that tongue.
"From the ruins of the dark tower once ruled by the fallen guardian, Shadow we few elves found this amulet radiating with black magic, we dare not tell Allan, other wise he'd have us destroy it, when instead we wish to study it. This amulet allows the user to tap into the dark powers it possesses, but with consequences, the subject will later suffer sever pain in their hands if they are not use to the dark arts. The dragon we asked couldn't eat, the food turned chard when it touched his tongue. The gem seems to be shielded by a form of magic, every attack we gave was bounced off, not even a scratch. And it seems to be the focal point of the magic, must conduct more research. We should hide this in the abandon fortress of Dun Tynne, home of the dark elves, Allan is getting suspicious."
To say Allan was mad was a sever understatement, he was cursing in elvish, ready to kill something and Twilight teleported out of there and landed on AJ.
"Twi what in tarnation are ya..."
"Don't go up to the library, Allan's pissed.
"Why?" Rarity asked, behind her was everyone else.
"I think we found something and it was hidden on Allan on purpose and he's just finding out now."
An almighty roar came from upstairs and everyone backed away real slowly, "best to leave him there." Spyro said, the others nodded, leaving the stair case and headed into the main gathering space. By the time night fell, it was safe to go upstairs, the girls shared two rooms, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie in one, Rainbow, AJ, Twilight and Cadence in the other, the two princesses shared a bed. Across from were Spyro and Cynder's kids, tucking in her kids, Cynder looked at Spyro with a smile, "I think my heat is coming on."
"Then we should take care of that." Quietly leaving the temple, they flew over the forest, the moon light shined off Cynder's dark blue scales, every time he saw this, made Spyro amazed that such a beautiful creature was his mate, landing in an opening, her body was demanding attention and he knew it, licking his tongue across her nose, before bringing her in a lustfilled kiss.
Sucking on his mouth she worked her paws down his sides and felt him shiver as he tried to hold himself back, but as her fingers caressed his sheath he finally let himself go, unable to hold back any further. "Guess you're right...only thinking about myself and how happy it makes me acting only for your satisfaction..." With that he slowly pulled out, still teasing her, and she grabbed his head and began passionately kissing him again, trying desperately to get him to go faster but to no avail -- his mind was set. Her heat was now blazing and an uncontrollable desire for him was clouding her mind, and she moaned loudly as he pulled almost all the way out of her, some of his pre-cum and some of her juices dripping off his cock onto her lips. "Where are we...a resting place or a dungeon?" Rarity asked, looking back over to the resting skeletons.
"Both maybe, the cages hanging suggest this to be a torture chamber, where as the skeletons resting might have been warriors and this was once a tomb to rest in." Cynder said just by what they saw. They headed back up knowing they wouldn't find anything here but the dead. Rainbow Dash swooped down but got blocked by one of the wraiths and was forced to back off before a purple beam of magic struck the wraith but the rainbow maned pegasus stood back and flew around the wraiths, creating a distraction as the wraiths swung at her and Allan attacked them. Twilight raced for the room but teleported away to avoid having her head lopped off these wraiths were much faster then expected, Applejack, Pinkie gave it a shot but they were despite to keep the door out of their reach, but with each attempt, the wraiths reaction was growing slower as the ponies and the two dragons joined the fight. Spyro blasted one off the edge and it vanished giving Cadence an opening, running down the stairs, using her magic to blast down the door and she moved down before coming to a rather empty room nearly as she saw the dragon eye floating in the middle of the room. Cautiously walking up to it, she tapped it with her hoof, thinking it would have given her more power but yet nothing happened taking the amulet she then headed up and found it was quiet, the wraiths were gone, her friends on edge...waiting for the next attack to come.

"It wasn't easy I issure you...once you left, my body smoldering from the blue lightning I was barely breathing, the electricity made it painful to just breath, and once the guards were done prodding my with their spears, claws what have you and left. I crawled my way to my chambers...no doubt destroyed by one of you two gentlemen, as well as my gem...tore a single shard and stabbed myself with it, embedding it into my very flesh where it healed the majority of my wounds as you can see. Then I returned South were I had time to heal and continue my research into finding that very artifact your lovely friend is holding...so will you hand it over nicely or do we need to go another round?" Spyro growled at his foe giving his answer. "Very well but this time I will not be out numbered."
His gem glowed and it spread out across the strong hold, though it did nothing to those on top but down below in the chambers those who were once dead breathed new life as their bodies were reformed, flesh and blood flood through them once more, their eyes shined a dark purple, much like the crystal shard. Climbing out of their tombs, weapons in hands they walked up to the surface, there the group heard the sound off armored soldiers coming, the moaning sounds as the undead drew nearer before long they encircled the area with their master high in the sky laughing at his victory, though it might be a premature one.

Allan said as his fist glowed green, nodding, Spyro waited for his attack and as it turned to smoke he dropped the shield and hid in the smoke before launching a beam of aether at the fire dragon, knocking him back a few feet before he rammed him into the fortress. With the two dragons battling, Allan ran at Cynder, who had lowered herself for him, once his foot stepped onto her back, she pushed herself off the ground and Allan jumped off her back, coming back down slamming his fist into the ground, sending a magic shock wave that blasted the undead away, giving them a chance to prepare for a long fight.
Allan stepped back from a vertical swing, ducking under horizontal swing coming up and blocked a strike away, spinning around, cutting a warrior's abdomoin, before turning and doing the same to another, Cynder used her tail to deflect a blow, and with a swift turn, thrusted her blade into the head of another before vanishing into the shadows, reappearing behind three and ignited them with her flame breath. Seeing Rarity getting pushed near the edge she raced over and blasted them over with her wind element, she returned the favor by blasting two with a hail storm of gems knocking them away just for Cynder to swing her tail at them. The army seemed endless as Allan spun around blocking two attack and Twilight pushed them back, he blocked two more, swinging around and sliced ones chest open, those that staggered from his counter Twilight took care of, as he would spin around her, making sure they didn't hit her, either by blocking or swinging his own attacks at them.
The two seemed to have been circled in, Allan held his sword high as Twilight had her magic at the ready, the warriors circled around them, waiting for the opportunity to strike but out of nowhere a pink stubstains splattered over the warriors, "back off bullies!" It was Pinkie Pie with her party canon and Twilight immediately summoned a shield around her and Allan as Cynder rained fireballs upon the stuck warriors, the attack was so powerful those that weren't near the inferno were push back from the shock waves that followed.
Else where, Spyro and the fire dragon were at each other's throats, claws, fangs and elements were used, the fire dragon had Spyro pinned under his paws, summoning his fire breath but the purple dragon melted into the shadows and he looked around but he left one spot open...his underside and Spyro jumped out of the shadows, ramming his head into his foes stomach lifting him high into the air, using aether, Spyro vanished in a flash and as he reappeared up above, striking him down with a stream of ice slamming him down into the ground. Shaking off the ice he jumped skyward towards Spyro igniting his own body and with incredible speed tackled the purple dragon, the heat was nothing to the hero of the dragon realm but when he sank his fangs into his shoulder caused Spyro to howl in pain turning his pain into rage and he charged up his electric breath, the cracking alerted his foe but he wasn't fast enough to move before his and Spyro's body were sparking with electricity, his foe back off, his scales sensitive from his last encounter with electricity leaving himself open but when he saw Spro coming he blasted a stream of fire.
Spyro shot back with his own fire, the heat was intense as they were in a stalemate but soon, Spyro used aether and pushed the attack his way, forcing his attacker to back off, and as he dove under the attack, he saw the battle down below and saw that Cadence was still holding the dragon eye, smiling he dove for her, and as she looked up she had no chance to react as he grabbed her from the battle field, the impact of his paw connecting with her side was enough to knock the wind out of her and with his tail caught the dragon eye, and he headed South, and his new army vanished in a puff of purple smoke, leaving the others to merely watch as he vanished in the clouds. As Spyro landed, Cynder took notice of his injuries but he merely walked by her and came up to Allan.
"So what now?"
"We need to find Cadence and the dragon eye before something happens." Allan said, "Twilight can you teleport us back to the temple?" She nodded and in a flash they were gone, seconds later they landed in the dinning hall of the Northren temple but it was long before one of the girls asked the question.
"Why didn't we go after them?" Rainbow asked.
"And what would we have done? Fight in the air and risk Cadence's life? Say she falls can you catch her, because the dragons will be in an arelee combat an I'm useless in the air. Besides he gave us information he shouldn't have he said he returned South. Now the question his Where?"
"The Atlawas are in control of Tall Plains so he won't go there, nor the swamp or the ancient grove, that's in range of the temple and most likely the guardians if they returned from their vacation." Spyro said.
"Then that leaves Concurrent Skies but from what i hear, the electric dragons have reclaimed it, using my old lair and transforming it into a Kingdom, so that leaves Munitions Forge, home to the fire dragons."
"Don't forget about the smaller islands." Twilight said gaining every ones attention. "I saw a map in one of the books in the Mountain Fortress library and studied it closely. He could be on Stone isle, the Desolated Skerry, or the Crystal Archipelago."
"Damit I hate it when others are right." Allan cursed as the others nodded in agreement, "ok first we check Munitions Forge then check the other islands, but first, Spyro, let Cynder tend to your wound, the rest of us will rest up and recover our strength then we go on the hunt." Everyone headed off towards their chambers for the night.
Off the coast of Munitions Forge South West from the main land lays a tear shaped, un-named island and on it was an abandoned strong hold used by the fire dragons in order to stop any forces from Cynder and Malefor back when he was alive and had the young dragoness under his control, but now it was the lair of the fire dragon and his army of the undead. Placing the dragon eye on a table next to a book with the amulet sketched into it and next to it was the alicorn amulet, "one down one to go." "You remember seeing them in the catacombs?" They nodded. "Those were the dark elves of Dun Tynne, be thankful they couldn't use their magic or their speed or true strength."
"Why's that, I'm mean I know it be bad but just how bad?"
"Remeber when Allan punched a hole in the Crystal Empire? Or how fast he killed the crimson changelings? Then imagine an entire army of him, suited in armor, weapons that could cut normal armor like butter, then add an ancient form of black magic on top of that. Able to move in a form of fog, you can't see them but they can see you...attack from nowhere and everywhere, that's a dark elf."
The girls shivered, they were truly thankful they didn't face that but instead merely the warriors and that was hard enough but now they need to find Cadence a task that will not come easy. "What if we split up, check the islands out then the Forge?" Twilight suggested.
"To risky twi, should one of us encounter him without a dragon reinforcement then we're history or be held captive like Cadence." Applejack said.
"Agreed...I'm fast but last time I bucked a dragon it did nothing to him and if he decides to chase me there is a good chance I might get roasted, personally I'd rather not become dragon food." Rainbow added.
"So what? We fly as a large group and announce our presence that we are coming to get her?"
"No Twilight, we need the element of surprise, if we're spotted then we got the army to deal with but should we find where they are and stay out of sight then we can get both Cadence and the dragon eye, and if possible kill him, ending his magic influence on the undead."
"Should things get ugly no doubt he and I will go another around and this time I'll be sure he's dead."
"Then it's settled let's head out."

High above the lava of the land was the group, Rarity and Applejack were on the back of Spyro, while Pinkie was on Cynder's back while Twilight, Rainbow and Fluttershy flew along side them, as Allan walked below and observed the manweersmalls work on unmining crystals and up above Twilight was writting down the things Spyro explained to her, such as manweersmalls and what they do, the history of the apes taking over and hoarding the crystals in hopes to decrease the dragon population and give the gems to Malefor's, their master until Spyro freed the moles from the apes. The one thing that loomed over the land and posed a threat was the volcano named Mount. Boyzitbig, an active volcano that can erupte at any time.
The land had many caves and pockets in cliff sides but not big enough to hide an entire army but a dragon could hide in the caves, but that's about it. The ground and air started rumbling as the volcano shot puffs of smoke getting everyone to watch the volcano now as they scanned the surface for any signs of the army but saw nothing much to their disapproval. "Hey what about that Kingdom over there?" Rainbow asked. Off in the distance they saw a castle silhouette, it came off scary, unaprotchable.
"That is the fire Kingdom, ruled by King Amberius, the fire elder and ruler of all fire dragons his kingdom dose seem deadly but from what I've heard he's a great ruler." Spyro said.
Hours pass but they have saw nothing that could give them a lead, even Allan, the best tracker around couldn't pick up a lead, coming together on a cliff side that over looked a lava pit. "This can'tbe happening, we scowered the land and nothing how can a dragon vanish like that?" Rarity asked.
"He has to be here somewhere...but where?" Allan asked, "Rainbow, Spyro do another areal sweep scan the edges of the main land, if something catches your attention report it."
Rainbow gave a salute, and Spyro nodded and together took off separating as they reached high altitude, Spyro flew East, and Rainbow took West scanning the edge near the water where salt water met the blazing hot lava, steam rosed high, but as she came South something caught her eye. Moving in closer she saw the dark elves, their armor glowed from the lava pits around the ruined fortress, "gotcha..." she flew back leaving a rainbow trail behind her as she headed back to tell of her findings. "Found them, on an island just off the South coast in a ruined fortress the elves patrolled the area and that gave them up."
"Good work tell Spyro to meet me on the island, we'll draw them out you girls go get Cadence and the dragon eye." Allan said and she was gone as Allan used his magic to open a portal, "the rest of you go in once the guards are going for us." He said before going in.
His portal opened just yards away from the fortress, "I came here looking for a worthy opponent but all I see are children playing princess!" Allan taunted and it worked as they all jumped down or burst open the doors and rushed at him leaving the fortress open and Twilight teleported the girls outside of the fortress and saw the whole army running at Allan. Walking in they cautiously walked through it, trying to make as little noise as possible, Twilight used her magic and at certain locations her horn glowed brighter and they went down that way, moving down through halls, the silent was nerve wreaking to them, and there was still the matter of the dragon in the fortress but they came to a door where Twilight's horn glowed the brightest. Opening the door they all gasped at the sight of Cadence in such conditions made them all stop dead in their tracks, Twilight was the first to move, taking the key off a drawer and unshackeled her, removing her horn ring, "come on let's get you out of here."
Outside Allan side stepped from an upward vertical strike, and as an elf readied for an attack, Allan punched it in its face, the sound of bones cracking could be heared as his upper jaw cracked and the nose broke, snaking his blade in front of himself, distracting the elves before he swung out of the snake, cutting open two of the elves, his blade making short work of their armor, turning around he came down with a vertical swing, cleaving one elf in two, re-gripping his blade and thrusted his blade behind him, stabbing one and with a step forward, pulled it out and thrusted the pommel into the head of another. Swinging around he lopped off three heads clean off their necks before blasting more back with a gust of wind, more charged at him but a colorful blur zipped through the ranks, taking a row out by throwing their legs out from under them, that was soon followed by a stream of ice freezing those on the ground solid.
"What kept you?" Allan asked, keeping his eye on the army.
"Thought we could make love in the clouds before saving your tail." Rainbow replied in her sarcastic tone, giving Spyro a playful nudge.
"Glad you made it quick." Allan smirked, and the mare once again zipped through the forces before heading up, leaving a trail of down soldiers in her wake. Spyro unleashed a jet of blue fire, hot enough that even Rainbow Dash had to shield her eyes from above as it melted the armor and the elf wearing it. "Ok who fries next?" He grinned and they charged. In the ruins the girls had Cynder carrying the wounded princess out of the dungeon and they kept an eye out for their friend who could show up at any given time.
"I don't like this, it's far to quiet." Applejack said, feeling unsettled, Fluttershy hugged her side as they wandered through the ruins looking for the way they came in.
"Agreed, Twilight, darling why not teleport us back to the temple?"
"I can't, I don't know if the dragon eye can affect my magic, and with it in the claws of the dragon, it be best if I did that away from here and not risk our lives teleporting, that could tear us apart or worse."
Reaching the area they came from, Twilight used her magic and sent them back to the temple while the trio were making short work of the dark elves as Rainbow would sweep through their ranks, knocking a row down leaving the open for Spyro to burn them to a crisp as Allan created piles of dead warriors, the magic that once brought them back vanished after a fatal blow. Coming out of her attack run, Rainbow saw Twilight's flash, indicating that she got the others out. "There free." She shouted below.
"Alright Spyro finish them." Allan said while dawning a magic dome over himself. Spyro wrapped his wings around himself and a strong magical energy was coming towards him as he hovered in mid air, like Allan, a purple dome surrounded him but with flare of his wings the dome broke and passed through everything, going over Allan's shield and with a second wave coming it destroyed the entire army in seconds. Up above Rainbow couldn't believe what she had saw, her jaw hung open at the sight, in two moves the army that seemed endless just ended, "hey if your wake up there the portal is opened." Spyro shout to get the mares attention shaking her head she saw his tail pass through and she dove after him, then the portal closed but the sight that they came to was horrific, Cadence was subcoming to her wounds and the others could only watch with teary eyes. Thinking fast, Spyro placed a paw on the alicorn and light tendrils flowed from him and onto her, healing her wounds as best as he could, both outter and inner ones. Once it was over, he placed his head near hers and there he heard a faint breath escape her nostrils.
"She's alive but barely...Allan she needs your medical care."
Nodding he picked up the princess and walked through a door that was across from the kitchen and all was quiet. As the hours tic by, they sat around the door waiting for any news to come of Cadences condition finally Allan came out and all stood before him. "Well?" Twilight asked.
"She'll make a full recover in a week but she kept mumbling something about a alicorn amulet...dose that mean anything to you?" The girls looked at each other with surprise and dread.

Two weeks pass and Cadence made a full recovery and was watching the kids as they played with Fluttershy in the temple gardens, "How are you feeling?" Came that familiar voice of the purple dragon as he sat beside her.
"Good..."
"But?"
"I can't get the thought of why or how a dragon from this realm nows about the amulet that leaves many things open like what will he do with it? How did he know about it?"
"I don't know but there is no way he can open the portal, he dosent have the magic for it."
"Thank Celestia for that." She sighed and rested her head on Spyro's arm as he draped a wing over her, "you know...seeing as myself and Twilight got to play with Cynder, think you and I can play with each other?" Spyro wasn't at least bit surprised as he smiled at the princess.
"Are all alicorns, unicorns so 'horny'?" He asked, emphasizing the word horny as he tapped her horn. "And after what happened to you I thought you'd wait much longer than two weeks."
"Naturally, but with the add of Allan's magic, and that he carefully worked on my neither regions and for some reason restored my passion for love making and seeing as we made it with Cynder why not with you?" Spyro chuckled at her.
"If you think you can handle me...but not now...maybe tonight." Cadence had a smile on her face as she looked up at the dragon beside her.
As the day wore one, the girls were playing with the young dragons, missing their own back home in Equestria. But Allan pulled Twilight aside and went to the library together. "Tomorrow afternoon you leave."
"What? Why?"
"Its getting to dangerous for you girls and I will not have your blood on my hands. This dragon knows about a powerful amulet in your home world and has a location though it is unlikely that he would get it, I don't want what happen to Cadence happen to any of you."
"But he can't get near Canterlot if he has bad intentions and Spyro far as I heard decimated his undead army. And if he knows about that amulet then we need to interrogate him."
"How? Terrorizing a wyvern is no problem when you know how but a dragon with thicker scales or a drake with the strongest of all dragonic scales is next to impossible, you can wound him but getting him to talk...that's something else all together."
"Then why send us home?"
"Should we open the portal and he goes in and we go in after him all it takes is a split second and that second could by a year...in some cases and he could have done significant damage to Equestria. No I'd rather send you home when its safer."
"Then we must go back to the Northern Kingdom were we arrived, that is where we shall open it."
"Hey, Al...a wolf his here to see you." Rainbow said and Allan followed the mare outside and sure enough there was a white wolf, dressed in a dark brown leather and chain jacket over a dark red vest, with a white shirt underneath, black leather with metal that covered the shoulders, dark brown and black leather gloves with silver spikes, brown leather pants with dark brown leather boots. He had a sword strapped onto his back, the pommel was that of two wolf heads that twisted around the other. He looked as though he got a good pounding, chains missing, shirt ripped, cuts on his body and looked ready to pass out.
"Leroy!? What happened?!
"A dragon holds Kaer Morhen hostage, he demands...He demands that someone named Twilight to open a portal or else the wolves will die in our own fortress." He slumbed against Allan as he helped him into the temple.
"Ok so now we got hostages at play here. I say we go to this Kaer Morhen and end this before it gose to far." Rainbow said, hovering over the others.
"And how to you expect us to go somewhere where we never been before, not all of us are as fast as you." Applejack said looking at her friend. "And this time he has hostages, if he sees you, they die we need to..."
"I'll open it for him."
"WHAT!?" everyone shouted in unison, even the quiet Fluttershy raised her voice at Twilight.
"Have you gone mad? This meany can't win. Bullies never win why should he?" Pinkie said.
"Yes darling, if you give in, then what hope dose Equestra have if we allow this brute into our home? I'm sure Allan, or Spyro or Cynder can come up with a plan." Rarity added.
"Yeah and what about telling our kids, and students? Never give in to anything that seems wrong. And this is very wrong." Rainbow chimed in.
"Yes Twilight, look at the wolf, imagine ponies with that kind of injuries or worse, we've dealt with Shadow with their help now we face another like him and we need to help because he threatens our home too." Fluttershy said.
"But we can't let them suffer." Twilight pleaded.
"And we won't." Came Allan's voice as he and the two dragons walked out. "We will need to move the wolves into the forest, Spyro, you and Twilight will grab his attention seeing as to how he hates you and asked for Twilight, the rest of us will escort the wolves to a secret chamber under LothLorien until he retreats else where."
"And if he doesn't, then what? Just do what he asks, open the portal."
"Absaloutly not! We will never give into his demands. If he gets this alicorn amulet then he will be the most powerful creature on both worlds. I will not allow that to happen, not now, not ever."
Outside in the mountain pass, they saw the fortress of Kaer Morhen, a ruined fortress built next to the mountain, and atop of the fortress was the dragon. "Ok you two, your up." Allan whispered to the two purple beings and they scurried off into the bushes while the others remained motionless as they waited and sure enough, two purple beams struck the dragon on his face, looking over he took off in the direction and they ran up the path and into the fortress, and they saw a number of wolves sitting innthe court yard.
"It's Allan! And the hero's of Warfang!" A wolf shouted and everyone stood up.
"Ok let's get you out and..."
"No!" A wolf said, "that beast dear threaten us in our own home, I don't think so. Master Allan you brought reinforcements this dragon will regret this."
"Are you kidding? You want to fight that beast after he bested you?!" Rainbow shouted.
"Watch your words pony, your in our home and now we have..." the sound of thunder caught everyone's attention and the looked up and saw smoke rising from the forest.
"Best check it out, coming with?" Allan asked the wolves and they all headed out into the forest. Moving as fast as their legs could carry them with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy high above they spotted something purple down below, "Over here!" Rainbow shouted and as the others came to the area, their eyes widen.
"SPYRO!!" Cynder cried out as she saw her mate severly wounded. Deep claw marks along his side, and back, bite marks just behind his wings, burn marks along his left arm, on of his cheek spikes had a deep cut in it, no dout it was ment for his eye. His wing membrane had rips in it, and it appeared to be broken. Cynder carefully picked up her mate and cradled him in her soft, tender care.
" Let's get him back to the fortress, Varin, go find some healing crystals."
"Wait a minute where's Twilight?" Rarity asked.
"Damn it, spread out and look for her. Cynder follow Barmin back to the keep, we'll find Twilight." Nodding, two wolves helped Spyro onto Cynder's back and walked alongside her as the rest ventured further into the woods. Crawling through the bushes while calling out her name, but no answer, Cadence then walked up to Allan and said. "Do you think she...opened the portal?"
"I don't know but I pray she didn't and that thunder we heard was just the elements colliding with each other. Rainbow any sign of her!?"
"nothing yet!"
"Damn keep searching."
Hours go by and night was swiftly approaching and everyone started to think the worst has come to pass until one of the wolves called out and they raced over in his direction and they found her, laying unconscious, but no visible injuries, picking her up they returned to the fortress and waited to hear answeres. Over the next week, Cynder hasn't left Spyro's side as he still showed little movement while the girls waited for Twilight to wake up. "Uhh, mmm...where am I?" Everyone looked at her as she awoke.
"You don't remember?" Cadence asked.
"No...I remember battling the dragon with Spyro, we were losing then he...oh god. He got inside my head. I dont know how but he did and summoned the portal, before he entered he sent both me and Spyro into the ground with a powerful fireball and...SPYRO! How is Spyro? Is he..?"
"He's healing right now and you should too." Cadence said, gently pushing her sister-in-law back onto the pillow before going to Allan, "did you hear everything?"
"Yeah, but what bothers me is how did he get into her mind? He doesn't have that kind of magic and even if he did it will take years to master it to do such things. But now we get her healed then we go to Equestria."
"What about Spyro?"
"The wolves will take care of him but for now, I'll be going with you back home."
There was no argument by either parties, once Twilight could get back onto her hooves they were headed back home. Another four days go by and she was ready to go but they all stood before Spyro, the only indication of him being alive was the rising and lowering of his chest. "Don't worry, we'll make that bartered pay, I promise." Twilight whispered as she laid a hoof on his paw before they headed into the court yard. Summoning a magic shield around himself, Allan nodded and Cadence opened the portal and they jumped in, swirling around as though they were in the eye of a storm and as they fell out, a magical wave struck them, changing their forms and shattered Allan's shield to half strength. Though they paid little attention to themselves but to the dark cloud the over hanged Canterlot and Ponyville.
"By the ancestors...what have we just gotten into?" Allan asked as they saw the horror before their eyes.

Nearly six years have past since two unlikely friends arrived at the Crystal Empire, Spyro a legendary dragon among his kind and Cynder a dragoness with a dark past and abilities, together they and the ponies of Equestria saved their beloved world from a tyrant named Shadow, a black dragon from the dragon realm and an old foe of the dragons. Though they didn't do it alone as they brought Allan, a warrior who has defeated the tyrant many times before he arrived here in Equestria. During the six years the cities that were captured were rebuilt by order of Princess Luna, and as the matter with the Princesses, having nearly costing not just Cynder and her first clutch their lives but almost losing the war Celestia has stepped down for a while but will continue to raise and lower the sun and hold court with her Sister Luna. They also made special portals in each kingdom, that lead to the kingdome they wanted, Cadence had a pink one, Twilight a purple one, and Luna a blue one.The princess of the night has made trips around to see how rebuilding was coming, how those who lost loved ones were holding up, and helping her was Princess Cadence and the elements of harmony. The months the changelings were in charge was hard for many ponies to live, but over the years things started returning back to normal, during the years, Cadence would go to the dragon realm with gifts from the friends Spyro and Cynder made while they were here. Her book on dragons grew and know she had two books on dragons, and told Luna that she got to be in a class taught by Allan in the temple in the Blue Mountains, infact she has shared many of her studies with her family and the night princess. Now that things were calm Cadence told her family her plans.
"I plan on going to the dragon realm for at least a month or two, see the dragon city, Warfang, the other temple and much more, and from what I hear the Northern Kingdom is similar to our Empire."
"Sounds like fun, and don't worry about us we'll handle things here." Shining said kissing his wife.
"Thanks, I'm off to tell Luna my plan so she can luminate the portal." With that the princess of love walked for the portal room and walked through the blue portal as if it was a normal doorway.
Inside the castle of harmony, Twilight was trying to get the girls in on a plan to visit the dragons, but because Allan said that Twilight shouldn't for various reasons made her all the more determined to see the dragon world. "So tonight we sneak to the Crystal Empire, wait for Cadence to open the portal and jump in after her."
The girls all avoided eye contact. "Twi, we know you want to see their world and we would all like ta see our friends but to do something so..so...deivish it's not like ya at all."
"AJ is right. We miss them but to sneak into their world, against Allan's orders, the dude scares me, ME! Rainbow Dash!"
"Rainbow Dash is right darling, and have you forgotten we all have families to attend to and jobs as well? We simple can't vanish, I would be leaving Kyle to maintain the shop and look after GemStone. Applejack would be leaving her family and so on." Rarity said.
"Fine I'll go alone."
"What and leave us behind not funny Twilight." Pinkie pouted.
"Will its get left behind or come with me."
Everypony looked at each other then back to Twilight. "Give us time to say goodbye to our family and explain what is going on." Fluttershy said.
"Done meet me here in two hours then we're off."
The girls nodded and left for their homes.
Going to her boutique, Rarity came home to a purple-grey pesgasus, with green eyes and and a purple mane and tail, they embraced each other, sharing a kiss before a small white pegasus with a dark blue mane and tail, violet eyes and purple tipped feathers came between them. The fashion pony explained her situation to her family and they agreed she should go if only to make sure Twilight doesn't get into trouble. At Sweet Apple Acers Applejack came home to her entire family, two small fillies came running up to her a light orange with a blue mane and tail with blue eyes, and a white one with a blond mane and tail with green eyes. Hector gave her a tender kiss, Applebloom and her coltfriend, Big Macintosh and his wife, granny Smith sat in her chair and Applejack explained and they said go and watch over her friend. Pinkie and Rainbow were at Sugar Cube Corner, where their families were hanging out, Rainbow and Quibble Pants had three kids, twins, one had a tangerine with a red stripe mane and tail, with blue eyes the other had black, blue and a purple stripe mane and tail, with RD eyes the third and the youngest looked a lot like her mother. Pinkie and Cheees sandwich had triplets, a blue, red, and a dark pink one and the said the same as the other families.
At the castle Twilight was alone as Spike and Sweetybelle were on a date, Zephyr and the kids were seeing her parents for the weekend, she planned on how they should go by this, the portal can be opened only at night and on a specific moon which so happens to be tonight's moon. Deep down she only wanted to go to the dragons land to talk to Cynder, even though it's been six years something in the back of her mind kept nagging at her to try to amend wounds. The day grows late and every pony was ready for their sneaky plan to enter the Crystal Empire, teleporting them, Twilight and the girls hid in a bush and waited. Night and Luna has lit the area and Cadence spoke the incantation, opening the portal, walking in the girls rushed for the portal before it could close on them. Unlike the vortex that hurled Spyro and Cynder into their world this one was more of a walkway, before they knew it they came out of the portal and tackled Cadence.
"Twilight what are you..." Cadence growled before she was intrupted by an earth shattering roar. Looking ahead of them was a battle field, ice dragons and dragons that were not mentioned to Cadence, they looked at each other with dread. Looking out into the field they that they saw someone familiar, standing 5'11" dressed in a heavy cotton coat that reached his ankles, leather breast plate and pauldrons, three leather belts near, on his waist, metal arm guards with dark brown leather gloves, brown leather and white pants, leather on the knees and outside, the white on the inside. A forty four inch longsword, hand and a half handle wrapped in black leather, it wasn't the same sword they remembered. Turning he sliced off one of the other dragons head off, spinning around he took the head and upper jaw off of another. Then the girls let out a blood curling scream as a massive snake like dragon reared up and hissed at them. Black scales green spikes along its body, a hood like a cobras, two long fangs sticking out of its maw, long claws on each finger.
Spinning around Allan saw the ponies, looking up he whistled then pointed to the ponies. As the snake dragon raised its head a green mist started to seep out of its mouth, but it faded as a purple ball exploded on the back of its head, and the next thing the girls saw was a purple dragon land in front of them. Growling the dragon flared his wings, but the larger dragon seemed unfazed. "Any time Casi." The dragon said and soon a grey dragon with a long body, silver scales, and a dark grey back tackled the snake like dragon.
"Follow me now!" The purple dragon shouted as he ran off, the ponies right behind him, charging an ice bomb, the dragon fired it skyward and an opening presented itself in the wall they ran for. Skidding to a stop he ushered the mares inside, once all seven were in the opening closed and all the could hear was the battle outside, but inside they saw many wounded dragons getting treated, tents set up around the area, it was a military base camp. Hours past before the warriors came inside.
"Tend to your wounds, then we will collect the dead and bury them, we will give them all a proper burial after the war. Nurse how many healing crystals do we have?" Allan shouted.
"Four that's barely enough to heal two dragons fully ."
"Shit. Ok I will need a stealth team to gather more from the gardens." Allan looked around. "Where is general Brody?"
"Bed six, his injuries are sever."
Allan cursed again then his gaze turn to the purple dragon and motioned his head, pointing at the mares, walking up to them was none other then Spyro.
"Spyro!" The girls shouted and hugged him, but he didn't return the hug. "It's good to see you."
"Wish I can say the same." The girls backed away.
"What do you mean darling?" Rarity asked
"You just entered a war zone, and nearly got killed if it wasnt for me and Casi. Had the circumstances been different the I would happy to see all of you." He growled
Now that they see him, he has grown a lot since his stay in Equestria, know he was almost at Terrador's shoulders, without his horns, the rings on them now had small points on them. He was much longer then last time as well, he has a few scars on his left front leg and shoulder, his wings had small tears in them, five shoulder fins and two cheek spikes on each cheek, that also has a pointed ring. And for him to see the girls its as if they never aged a day, they looked almost same as before, Twilight has dark purple tips on her wings now.
Walking up to them was Allan, dressed in his winter armor, "What the hell are you doing here?" He asked so calmly but his voice had hint of acid to it. "This is no place for any of you, I don't care that you all came but to enter a war zone you should have turned back."
"The portal closed before we got the chance, what is going on? When did this all start?"
"Follow me." Spyro and the girls followed Allan as they walked through the city of ice, every building was ice, dragons wondered the streets, many came up to Spyro to greet him, hug him or kiss him on the cheek, and every dragon was an ice dragon. Coming to a large castle they walked through the doors, up an arched stair case, through a large hall with many arch ways taking a right turn then left then they arrived at the throne room. Sitting on the throne was an ice dragoness, ice blue scales, white underside, horns the look connected to her face, two that curl upwards, and two that point back, with a curl to them, piercing blue eyes, feathered wings, spine fins running from her head to where her tail connects to her rump. A very slim and eligint body, her tail had a tuff of fur at the end, and her scales looked smooth as ice, she embraced the beauty of winter.
"Master Allan, Master Spyro how goes the battle with our foe?" Her voice was calm, yet strong and had a melody tone to it.
"Not in our favor your grace, we have lost a quarter of our men and another thirty wounded, ten percent can't go back into battle." Allan said and the Queen looked dishearted, then her gaze turned to the mares.
"And who might these be?"
Cadence stepped forward. "I am Princess Cadence of the Crystal Empire of Equestria, these are the bearers of the elements of harmony, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. We know Spyro and Allan from our world." Cadence then explained in full as too how they ended up in Equestria and the predicament they were in with Shadow and the changeling army, how he took over Cantorlot, their royal palace that housed the rulers of Equestria, how Luna escaped and their plan to take back their home land, though she left out a few details that should only concern her. The story intrigued the Queen very much.
"And I presume he's dead for sure this time?"
"We can only pry to the ancestors but yes I believe he is dead for good." Allan said.
"And may I ask what is happening here?" Cadence asked.

Having stormed into the throne room Allan demanded to take the remaining guards and mount a counter strike and finish off the enemy, but her grace denied the request claiming its too risky and that he's not thinking clearly. He called spat at the notion of "not thinking right" and pointed out that they nearly lost the war and is in need of a risk now that they are out numbered and wounded but the Queen dismissed Allan until he clears his head and calms down. Storming out of the palace he ordered a small group to assemble for a night strike, lead by him. "What about me?" Spyro asked.
"I want you to go down into the tunnel and if any try to escape that way unleash either aether or convexity and don't lite up on your attacks give them hell."
"And our mare friends what about them?"
"They stay here. I will not risk their lives in a operation like this."
Walking off, Spyro heard the sound of hooves coming near him, looking over his shoulder and saw Cadence coming towards him. "Please tell me your not going behind her back and going along with This." Looking back go where Allan was then back to was all she needed to know the answer. "You are doing this."
"Cadence please listen, Allan is right with them weaken we can end this or we can drag this out for a year or more. And I don't plan on staying away from Cynder for much longer, you have to understand."
She nodded her head, understanding what he feels more then anything. "Alright go but you only have tonight to do this. Fail and you must face the Queen." Thanking Cadence, Spyro walked over towards Allan while the girls came at Cadence with worried faces. "Please tell us they..." Rainbow Dash was interrupted as Cadence raised a hoof to silence them and said.
"Yes they are going to do mount a counter attack in hopes of ending this war and we are to remain here." She said looking at Twilight. "And help protect the city from those that might escape and come here to attack."
As night fell the group got ready, Spyro made his way down into the tunnel and made his way towards their lair while up above Allan and the dragons were concealed by the night sky. Landing on the roof of the lair, Allan looked back to the dragons, "We got ten hours left do as much damage as possible. Spyro you in position?" He asked talking into a communication crystal shard.
"Ready."
"Light them up."
Taking a deep breath, flexing his claws he thought of what need to be done, opening his maw a wave of blue fire, the hottest known flame to dragons erupted from him and it engulfed the tunnel, reaching where they meet, the flame passed through every tunnel. Up above, Allan has created a large hole in the ice roof and one by one the ice dragons started destroying every thing, soon darkers would come out of their chambers and were either met by an inferno or the guards that broke into the lair. Coming out of his throne room the fire dragon saw the comotion that was happening, feeling the floor beneath start to give way, he backed up but not enough as a beam of aether struck him on his lower jaw, coming out of the icy mist was Spyro and he blasted a blue fireball at the dragon. The force of impact sent him back into the throne room. "You and I still have unfinished business so I hope you weren't planning on leaving." Getting back up he growled at the purple dragon.
Inside the kingdom the Queen was looking out her doors that lead to the balcony, Cadence there as well. "He disobeyed direct orders not to attack."
"But your grace they are right to do so. Imagine it if they succeed then the war will be over, your kingdom free from war, no more casualties no more loved ones dying. If they hadn't done this then how long will it drag out for? Another six months? Maybe six years and by then most of the kingdom would be in ruins, hundreds, if not thousands dead, soldiers and civilians. This way only the enemy will lose warriors, yes some of Allan's team may perish in this fight but no without taking a few with them."
The Queen carefully considered the princesses words and realized that she was right, her kingdom won't survive against a six year war, and she has no right to ask Spyro or Allan to fight for her for that long, considering what they have already been through, they deserve down time more then any other. And Allan has been known to do such things back in the Dark War and succeed with minor to no loses. "Very well if they come home, they'll come home as hero's. In the morning prep the medical tent for the injured and get...what's her name? Pinkie pie? To get a party ready for the hero's." Smiling, Cadence walked off with a spring in her step, happy the Queen has seen what they are doing in a different light. Going back to her and the girls room, she fell asleep with a smile on her face.
Over at the fortress smiling wasn't an option as they continued to battle, their escape route has been destroyed by the inferno Spyro let loose, now they were being massacred in their own home. Tossing the leader through his throne, Spyro was relentless this time around, every time the dragon attack, he vanish in a purple flash, or became a blur and attack from another direction, no longer having to worry about unwanted damage he let loose. Getting up he waited for the purple dragon to come closer, as he did, he trusted the end of his tail into Spyro's wounded shoulder, getting him to howl in pain, twisting his tail causing more pain, as well as scratching the bone. Launching an aether ball, it pushed the dragon away and ripped his tail out, panting from the pain, Spyro didn't relent and his started to crackle with blue lightning,like blue fire it is the second hottest form the first would be purple. Dread could be seen in his eyes as the blue darken into purple, firing a single fireball to stop the attack but it went through the attack and struck him in the chest, roaring as the lightning scorched his flesh and scales, the fire dragon was now at the mercy of the purple dragon.
Outside the throne room were bodies upon bodies of darkers, only one, Poisonbreak was still alive, frozen but alive, as Allan hopes his brother would talk to him. The sound of a pained roar coming from the throne room caught everyone's attention wondering what was going on. The scales on the fire dragon now had a lightning pattern streaking across his entire body, the sheering pain of moving was too much for the dragon to handle. Moving closer, Spyro was charging an aether blast and fear was in his eyes knowing what is to come, but Spyro's paws also had a purple glow to them, and he unleashed several powerful punches that felt like sledge hammers causing more pain to the older dragon before blasting him into oblivion with the charged aether attack. Limping to the door he emerged and saw that they lost four dragons, out of twenty, nodding his head as the deed was done, the enemy was no more. Gathering their dead they flew back home as the sun was rising. Coming home the nurses waited as they landed and lead the wounded inside while those carring the dead put them to rest with the others. "Get yourselves fixed up I'll prepare everything." Allan said and they nodded leaving him to his work.
As the hours tick by Allan had the funeral ready, and everyone gathered around. Wooden stakes were lined row upon row with the dead on top. "We are gathered here today to honor your sacrafice to defend not just your kingdom but your loved ones. May the ancestors welcome you with open arms and find peace among the clouds." With a quick fire magic the stacks were light and everyone stood in silence in honor of the dead. From there the wounded went back to get properly looked after as they were merely wrapped in bandages, wanting to say good bye to friends, family, brothers in arms.
In what remains of the enemies lair, the fire dragon crawled to a secret door, his body covered in lightning marks, scales and flesh burned to the point of no longer being healed by crystals as scorched muscles showed, he winched each time he moved as the door opened itself. Tears streamed down his face as he battled the urge of just lying there, feeling deaths cold claws slowly grip him but he placed a paw onto a dark crystal that was radiating with dark magic and that magic flowed from the gem and covered his body, healing what was left of his mangled form. Deaths claws released him but his gaze still focused on the dying dragon.
