Back at the throne room, Mary, Twilight and I listen to Celestia and Luna about what she knew about the aliens.

"What is it, princess?" I ask,

"That alien wasn't alone." Celestia replies, "They're more all over Equestria wreaking havoc in their Changeling forms."

"How did you know about them? What were their names?"

"We haven't got a name for them yet. Sixty-five million years ago, the aliens invaded your planet, and wiped out seventy-five percent of life, but they're defeated by the Arcturians trying to protect your planet. However, during the war on prehistoric Earth, the aliens entered our world, and crashed here.

"They were laid dormant for millions of years until they're awakened. A thousand years ago, the aliens arrive on Earth to in a recon mission, but as I was sent here Fifty-five years ago, they secretly attack your after a global blackout until Earl and I defeated them.

"Thirty years ago, the Changelings have showed up to feed on your love emotions and destroy pony society. My guess is that the alien queen took the leftover magic to transform themselves into Changelings in order to hide among us. We've been hunting them for decades, but they were hiding until they launch a surprise attack on Canterlot during the wedding."

"So why didn't you warn us about them?" Twilight asks,

"They've been taking forms on everything in shapes and sizes including something that is not alive." Celestia replies,

"Wait a minute." I ask, "What happens if their queen is killed?"

"No one has ever killed a Changeling queen."

"That's... complicated." Mary says,

"But I found a weakness; their queen can control her minions using her hive mind control. If the alien queen dies, her minions will parish with her."

"So why now we just kill her before she could strike again?" I ask,

"You can't yet. The magic effect disabled Chrysalis's hive mind causing her minions to roam free just like Thorax."

"Who's Thorax?"

"He's a benevolent Changeling drone who is now reformed and became an ally."

Actually, drones are fertilized males that do nothing but to mate with queens while the others are sexless females called Workers. If Thorax is a 'he', that means he's a drone; not a worker because you know, all workers are females.

"So if we find Chrysalis, then Luna will cast a spell on this alien queen, and then we hive mind is activated, right?" I ask,

"Sounds risky, but a good plan." Mary says,

"I'm afraid it won't work." Celestia says, "Her magic is too powerful, and she's smart enough to find my weakness just like what happened when they abducted us."

I gasp. "They did what!?"

"That was two years ago. They defeated, abducted, and replaced us to manipulate everypony."

"But did Twilight and her friends save you?"

"Unfortunately, they were abducted too."

"Son of a buck! Why would you do this, Chrysalis?" I groan to myself, and then I say in a normal voice. "We'll talk about that later. We need something that we could resist their magic, and we can somehow flank their queen."

"I believe I know how. When I arrive on your planet to observe your species, I believe human technology will do the trick." Luna says,

"But what is Chrysalis uses her magic against our technology?"

"Magic is useless against otherworldly objects especially organic life forms." Luna says, "Even weapons from Earth could resist magic."

"Did you have them?"

"Follow me. I'll show you."

"You can go." Twilight says, "We'll stay here with Celestia."

I follow Luna out of the throne room.

We emerge inside the armory where armor, spears and swords were stored in each pantry.

"I thought you have conventional weapons; not medieval weapons." I say,

"Hang on a minute." Luna trots over the pantry, and she use her levitation spell to open the pantry doors.

Inside the pantry are assault rifles, shotguns, LMGs, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, pistols and Frag grenades stored inside it.

I grin. "Well what do you know?" These will do the trick."

"We tested our those weapons, and they can withstand magic even against force fields."

"Where did you get these?"

"I was in Africa, and all of the sudden, a group of gangsters attack me, but I fought them without using magic, and took all of their weapons before duplicate them. As you know, otherworldly objects can't resist duplication and levitation spell."

"Good one."

"Also, with four legs you have, you're going to need an exo-suit." Luna points at an armored saddle pack with two human-like robotic arms on the table. It fits on every pony.

"Alright. I'll try it on." I trot over the exo-suit, and put it on.

When I did, I can move my robotic arms with my mind thanks to that helmet I put it on.

"How do I look?"

"Ready for action!" Luna exclaims, "Choose your weapons and ammo."

I grab an assault rifle, a shotgun, a grenade, ammunitions and a pistol. I attack my primary weapons in magnet grips on my back, and I shove the pistol in a pocket where my right frontal leg is.

"Also, in case is they brought a special anti-magic rock they have, I like to give you this." She levitates a rifle bullet. "I use the spell the same thing I did on that alien prisoner inside the rifle bullet. It wasn't lethal, but when impact, it creates an explosion of magic smoke."

She hands the rifle bullet to me, and I place it inside an empty rifle magazine before loading it in my assault rifle.

The door burst open, and the guard steps inside. "Princess Luna, we've got incoming."

"What's wrong?" Luna asks,

"The Changelings swarm just appeared from the distance, and they're heading this way in ten minutes."

"Evacuate as many citizens as you can while you and your guards defend the city."

"Yes, ma'am!" The guard exits the armory.

Luna turns at me. "Get ready, Brandon."

I give a brave grin on my face. "I will."
