Starfleet Season 2 (Rewrite)

This time we turn to Earth, Mykan's hometown in Florida, close to the Kennnedy Space Center. It was everybody as getting ready for Christmas. Everywhere you look, people were getting ready, including Mykan's friends.

The scene switched to Mykan's house, where his family was getting ready. Neville, his brother,w as carrying a box filled with decorations.

Christmas Eve is getting close
We're not prepared, I fear
Brother, you should take a break

Neville went to his brother's room. In the human world, Mykan took the look of a genetically altered humanoid-pony. His coat was black, his mane was brown just like his natural hair. He even had a tail, pony ears and a muzzle.

(Mykan)
No time for rest that much is clear

He handed his brother a list of things he needed for Sapphire's visit.

I made a list and checked it twice
There's lots to do on here

Mykan rushed out of the house with his brother following right behind him.

Oh, I have to make this Christmas right
It has too for my girlfriend coming here

Mykan kept going to stand after stand after stand, getting what he needed for Sapphire's visit. "Two of these, three of those cakes, and five candles, just in case." he rushed from stand to stand while his brother watched him. "Bro, calm down." he called.

But Mykan didn't listen. That's when Mykans' parents came over along with his sisters, Sarah and Jane. "Hey Neville what are you-" the parents and sisters saw Mykan rushing from stand to stand. "Girlfriend coming over?" Sarah asked.

"Yep." Neville answered. Mykan's mother calmly walked over to her son. "Alright I got everything I-"

"Hey honey." she greeted calmly. "What are doing?"

Mykan began talking quickly, "My girlfriend whose a Princess in United Equestrian is coming here for Christmas and I have to make everything great cause this is her first Christmas celebrating with em and I need to make it good cause I'm her boyfriend and if it's not she'll-"

"Stop!" Mykan's mom, placed her hand over his mouth. "Take a breath."

Mykan took a deep breath. "Now let it out, slowly." Mykan breathed out and it calmed him down. "Honey, from what you've told us about your girlfriend, she'll love anything you do."

"But, but but."

"Bro, relax. You were never like this with Michelle." Neville grunted. "Just because she's a princess doesn't mean you have to make everything perfect for her arrival." Mykan sighed, remembering his old girlfriend and his sisters came over. "Neville's right... for once." Sarah said.

"Hey!"

"Sapphire will love anything you do for Christmas. Do don't need to be so strict about perfection." Jane added. Mykan sighed again, "Right, you're right."

"Now come son, let's get home so we can be there when your girlfriend comes over." Mykan's father suggested.

"...Right, right." Mykan and his family went home. They entered the house that was covered in Christmas decorations; the Christmas tree and Christmas lights everywhere. Mykan was still a little nervous about his girlfriends' visit. This is the first time she's been to the human world, ironically she was made by humans in the Dimensional Universe.

Ding-Dong

"AH! SHE'S HERE! SHE'S HERE!" Mykan cried. He started running around in frantic circles, "What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?" until Neville came up and slapped him across the face twice saying once again, “Calm down!”

Mykan blinked twice and looked at his brother, “Right, right.”

He went to the door and opened it and sure enough there was Sapphire. “Hi Mykan.” she greeted. She looked at same as she looked in United Equestria.

“H-Hi Sapphire, come in.” Sapphire walked in and saw Mykan's mother, father, brother and sisters. "Hello Sapphire." Mykan's father greeted.

"Hi Mr. Stevens." she greeted back.

Mykan's mother took her coat, "Come and sit on the couch. Mykan has told us lots about you."

Sapphire went over to the couch and sat down, "Thank you." Neville, Sarah and Jane sat down next to her. "Sorry if I look a little strange."

"Strange? Look at my brother!" Neville said, pointing at Mykan. Sapphire chuckled. "So Sapphire, how has our bother been to you?" Sarah asked.

"Sarah?!" Mykan cried, blushing in embarrassment. "Oh hush, we need to know." Sarah replied.

Sapphire giggled, "He's been great to me."

"So how long have you dated for?" Jane asked.

"Well.. few months." Sapphire replied. That's when Mykan's mother and father sat down in two chairs across from them. "So my boys' fallen in love again, huh? I didn't think he would again after.. you know." Mykan's father said.

"I know, he told me about MIchelle." Sapphire replied. Hearing that, Mykan put his head down trying not to let tears fall. Sapphire fluttered over to him and hugged him, "But he found me, didn't you?" she cooed. Mykan lifted his head and couldn't help but smile at her happy attitude. "Yes, I did." Mykan hugged her back, much to the joy of his family "Awww." Sarah and Jane cooed.

"So, how about we start with this Christmas dinner, huh? Mykan has been freaking about you coming." Nville said.

"Freaking how?" Sapphire asked.

"He got so worried about making everything perfect for you and went all Mykan-ananas."

Mykan winced at the name they called it whenever he would freak out over something.

"I wasn't Mykan-nanas!" Mykan exclaimed, getting a raised eyebrow from his family. "*Sigh* Alright, maybe a little Mykan-nanas." His family smiled then. "Mykan, you didn't need to make everything perfect for me. I'd like anything you put together for me." Sapphire reassured.

Mykan smiled at his girlfriend. "Now how about that dinner?" Mykan's mother asked. The family agreed and they went off to the table, which was decorated with all kinds of food; chicken, turkey, cranberry sauce, mac & cheese, spinach and etc. "Woah, nice spread." Sapphire complimented.

"Thank you dear, now let's eat." Mykan's mother replied. And with that the family sat down and ate their dinner.

Meanwhile, In Mystic Island, a dinosaur card was flying in the wind, until it landed on the ground, near a bonfire with homeless people surrounding it for warmth. Some of the flames hit the card and it glowed red and materialized into a dinosaur. It was in the same family as Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was a mixture of purple except for the occasional yellow stripes on it's back and over it's eyes. This dinosaur was Daspletosaurus.

The people screamed and ran away as the dinosaur roamed the streets.

Meanwhile, Mykan, his family and Sapphire had finished their dinner and were now taking about Sapphire's magic abilities and her and Mykan's role in Starfleet. "So you are a Princess and my brother is an axillary member?" Neville asked.

"Yep." Sapphire replied.

"Awesome!"

"So what does that device on your wrist do?" Jane asked. Sapphire looked at her dino-bracer. "My dino bracer detects dinosaurs in the area." She explained and just then it blinked red. "Like now!"

"Really? Where?" Mykan asked.

"On Mystic Island."

The family gasped. "Oh-no, everyone's in the center of the city for the holiday festival, that dinosaur gonna ruin it." Mykan cried.

"No if I can stop it." Sapphire said. "Come on Mykan."

Mykan nodded but before they could leave, "Wait, can we come?" Sarah asked.

"Sure." Sapphire used her magic to lift the family up into the air. "So cool." Neville squealed. "Come on, let's go save Christmas."

Mykan nodded and the two flew off to Mystic Island.

Arriving in the center of town, they saw the dinosaur making a mess of the decorations. It was purple except for the yellow around it's eyes. It looked similar to a Tyrannosaurus Rex. "Woah, a Despletosaurus!" Mykan gasped.

"And it's ruining everything!" Neville cried. The dinosaur was releasing fireballs from it's mouth, burning the buildings and the decorations."Hey look!" Mykan's father called. Everyone looked and saw all the people including Mykan's friends and the Grandruler family far from the danger zone. Mykan and Sapphire touched down near them. "Mykan, thank goodness." Rarity said. "Can you get rid of that thing?"

"Yeah at this rate, it'll destroy everything, including the city!" Rainbow added.

"I can't, but my girlfriend can." Mykan replied.

The people looked at Sapphire. "How can she stop that dinosaur?" Grandruler asked.

"Show them, honey." Mykan said.

"Right." Sapphire took out Blitz's card. "STARFLEET SLASH, STYRACOSAURUS, CHARGE!"

Blitz roared and landed on the ground. Everybody gasped in awe and shocked at the dinosaur in front of them. "Awesome!" Rainbow cried.

"Incredible!" Mr. Grandruler added. The crowd gasped in awe at the real life dinosaur in front of them

"Blitz, go stop Despletosaurus!" Sapphire ordered. Blitz roared and charged the dinosaur. Despletosaurus heard Blitz and fired flames from hit mouth, but Blitz moved to the side and rammed the dinosaur in the stomach and tossed it into the air. It crashed to the ground, but it wasn't finished. It formed a fireball in it's mouth and leaped high into the air, it dove straight towards Blitz. "Blitz, watch out!" Jane cried.

Sapphire took out her own move card. "LIGHTNING SPEAR!" she slashed the card and electricity surged all over Blitz's body and he charged straight towards the dinosaur. The attacks collided and Blitz landed back on the ground while Despletosaurus crashed to the ground again and this time it was breathing heavily.

"Blitz weakened it with that attack. Now's your chance!" Mykan said.

Sapphire took out another move card. "Now Blitz ELECTRIC CHARGE!""

Blitz roared as electricity surged through his body once more. His frill glowing in rainbow colors. He charged Despletosaurus and rammed him into the air. The dinosaur slammed into the ground and turned back into a card.

"Alright!" Mykan rushed over to get the card. "Good job, Blitz." Sapphire praised. She turned him back into a card and back into his chibi form.

The Grandrulers' looked at the town and saw it in ruins. The decorations were all brunt and shredded from the dinosaur and the buildings were damaged as well. "Everything's ruined. "Fluttershy whimpered, holding her boyfriend, Rhymey.

"What do we do now?" Pinkie asked. "Christmas is ruined."

"Now now Pinkie, don't say that." Mykan said. "Sapphire." Sapphire nodded and her horn glowed brightly along with the damaged decorations and buildings. All at once the buildings and decorations were restored to their former glory, much to the awe of the town. "Incredible." Mr. Grandruler gasped.

The civilians cheered in joy, thanking Sapphire for saving their celebration. "Your welcome everyone."

"Now then, let's get on with the gift exchange." Celesto said. The people agreed and soon they were all enhancing gifts with each other. Mykan gave Sapphire a necklace with a star gem in the center. "Aww, Mykan thank you." she said. "Now I have another great gift."

"Another gift?" Pinkie asked. "What's that?"

"Friendship." Sapphrie replied and she broke into song.
