Ugh parties. Why in Equestria I accepted to attend this drab thing is beyond me. It might have to do with a certain green haired dragon. I know that he was untouchable, because of Anthea and him, but it didn't stop me from still having a small-school filly crush I suppose.
Songs repeated themselves and people shimmied and danced on the dance floor. The best dance couple was surprisingly Star and Hot Head. She was wearing a dress that was like a dance dress and had loose ends so she could shimmy along smoothly. Hot Head was wearing a normal shirt and jeans. They moved across the dance floor flawlessly and who knew Star could dance and dirty dance so well? All the guys looked so jealous and it was positively hilarious watching Prism and Del's jaw drop. Of course Turquoise had no reaction but some chuckles.
Sigh he's so innocent. And yet every detail and flaw about him is perfect.
Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, Turquoise came up and asked me for a dance. I thought I would die on the spot, as he took my hand and gently pulled me up. I tensed up as he turned to face me.
“Uh Oh, have I already done something wrong?” He joked nervously.
Dated Anthea
Anthea is a lovely mare even though she has a hybrid that I should be dating. Doesn’t prevent me from sneaking her dirty looks and being rude to her. All is fair in love and war I suppose.
American Boy by Estelle came on. Oh dear god .

We walked to the center of the dance floor and awkwardly positioned ourselves. His claw rested on my hoof, as he placed his other claw on my hip. We rocked and did a few spins, passing a smiling Annie. Not a trace if jealousy was on her face. Ridiculous. I should be posing a threat, not a friend.
As we danced, I breathed in the familiar smell that he possessed. A musky dragon smell and a bit of cologne worn for the party.
Resting my head on his shoulder I took a quick gaze around the dance floor. Everypony looked happy and were dancing. We looked the most awkward, dancing. Thank Celestia we were moving correctly to the beat, and I thought that we were doing fine, but when Starburst and Hot Head passed us, there was no point.

I smiled and reddened as Turquoise tried to turn me around.
"Do you know how stupid we look? A princess has a reputation to uphold.”
"I know, but it’s the least I can do for a friend. And for Annie.” He chuckled. We continued to rock around occasionally spinning.
My thoughts swirled around in my head. For Annie? He was only doing this because Anthea asked him to. He didn’t want to dance with me. He wants all of his dances with Anthea. Because he loves her. She’s the only mare out there for him.
“Take me to New York I’d love to see LA”
“And no, I ain't been to MIA
My thoughts drowned out the loud music and I turned and slurred my movements. He would never like you Nidra. You know that he cares only for Anthea. It was foolishness that you could ever think differently.
“Stop.” I commanded. Turquoise looked at me curiously but I pushed him outside and collapsed on the step. Tears welled up in my eyes, blurring my vision. I swept them away with quickly and stared at the passing ponies.
Never again will I attend a party.

Hope u liked this story! If u didn’t get it basically Star and Prism had a makeout session (very rough on might I add😏) and do they woke up in the same bed. It would have moved on to something more, but they probs fell asleep when he was messing up with her bra lmao.
So it’s Friends based! U still don’t need to know it but it will be funnier! Basically Prism and Star get drunk in Vegas (THEY ARE HUMANS) and decide to get married. Anthea and T were going to get married but were stopped as they saw Prism and Star running out the chapel.
The rest of the gang (Candy, Del, Claire, Creme Andy Illusion) rush in -like phoebe and Joey- and say that Star left s message saying that Prism and Star were getting married.
Waking up in Vegas
NEXT MORNING- HOTEL ROOM
A lump under the blanket moved forward, and pushed the blanket off. Starbursts head poked out and looked around, smoothing down her mused hair. She whipped her mouth with the back of her hand and lazily drew her eyes over everything. Her expression was, at first confused, but then it morphed into panic. She propped herself up and scanned the room with narrowed eyes. Mini liquor bottles scattered the floor and a peanut tin lay on top of the T.V. Her shirt was thrown across the floor and her shorts were on top of the chair along with her leather jacket. Underneath them were a pair of pants... men’s pants from the looks of it. Wait!
Something moved along side her and she screeched slipping off the bed.
“Wha-?” A male voice rang out.
Star grabbed the flat sheet and covered her body with it, as she slowly looked over the bed.
‘Oh no...oh hell no’
“What the hell!?” Prism jumped back and pressed himself against the headboard.
Star stood fully up and looked in horror at him. She wrapped the sheet tightly around herself, slipping her bra straps higher.
“What...what happened?!” Star buried her face in her hands and perched at the end of the bed.
“We didn’t...we didn’t do...anything right?” Prism asked nervously.
“...I...I don’t know. Do you have any... clothes on?” She stuttered. She heard shuffling on the bed and went even more red.
“Um yes. Well I still have my boxers on...” He mumbled the last part in embarrassment.
They sat there in uncomfortable silence for a few minutes.
“So...” Prism said awkwardly.
“So...” She sighed.
“Umm... what do we do... about our current situation?”
“I don’t know. I don’t want to know what happened. I only know that I was way to drunk and I’m sure you were the same. That is as much as I want to remember. I have a splitting headache and I don’t want to talk about this.” Star announced.
“Well then. Glad we got that sorted. Thank God we didn’t do anything stupid.” He said.
“Yeah, I know right. I’m going to take shower before breakfast with the others.”
She got up and made her way to the bathroom. Prism sat up and swung his legs over the bed, exposing his back. Written in bold letters were the words-
JUST MARRIED .

The bar was a place of drinking and boisterous people. Not for a group of 16 to 24 year old men sitting quietly. They all sat there awkwardly, occasionally sipping their beers waiting for the most chatty person in their group to arrive.
The doors swag open and Prism Bolt walked in. He looked around frantically and then spotted their table in relief.
"Your late." Stated Illusion as Del passed him a beer.
"Sorry, sorry I was teaching Star another stunt." He pulled the lid off with his teeth and spat it on the floor taking a long sip.
"Seems like your spending at lot of time with her Prism." Valiant remarked.
Prism went a bit red in the face and it went unnoticed.
"So the princess eh? I thought you had you fill when you dated Nidra. I guess you can't get enough." Sneered Hot Head. Prism angrily raised his eyebrow.
"Why the hell is he here again?"
"Annie wanted to spend time with Amber and the girls, so she decided it would be good if I brought Lucky and Hot Head around so they weren't bored." T said.
"Wanted to, or forced to?"
"Trust me, forced to." Hot Head huffed. A silence once again overtook the table, with loud chatter drowning out the bored sighs.
"Alright then are we going to talk? So Illusion how are things with Claire?" Valiant exclaimed.
"Er... yeah good. Nothing has changed. What about you and Red June."
"Yeah ah want to know whats going on." Said Del suspiciously.
"Junes great. Still happy and Del nothing is going down in the barn... so Del whats been going on in your love life?"
"Nothing."
"Liar! Whats been going on with you and Creme?" inquired Illusion.
That got the farm boy to go red in the face and stutter.
"Well-uh..."
"Come on Del she's a hot model, you must have done something!" Said Prism.
"Well Prism, Del isn't a man whore and he doesn't need to do anything with a girl." Hot Head snarled. Prism leap across the table and almost grabbed Hot Head, but T and Del held him back.
"STOP. We can't even have a civilised conversation? You guys are becoming adults... so act like it!" Yelled Valiant.
“Look at the girls, they can do it!" Cried Illusion. They all turned their heads towards Sugar Cube Corners main window, where Amber was motioning something inappropriate with a spoon and a piece of cake and Claire, Annie, Whirlwind and Candy were laughing hysterically. Even Nidra managed to crack a cheeky smile. Star was facing away, face as red as an apple, looking angry.
"Maybe not the best example but at least their having fun!"
"Star looks like she's going to throw something." Announced Prism.
"Oh Amber." Lucky was shaking his head with Hot Head as they all took a seat again.
"So Prism how is you love life?" Questioned Del
"Same old same old. Free man."
"Come on there must be more to that. What about Star? Didn't you take a dust bath with her? Thought you made it clear that you weren't interested in her." Said Illusion smugly.
Prism went red in the face once again.
"Where did you hear that from?!"
"Son of chaos remember?"
"Well...yes but...I'm not interested in her! Besides no offence or anything but she's not my type...look way. And she's a bit of a buzz kill. She has her moments of fun but meh."
Valiant and Illusion raised their eyebrows in disbelief.
"That's not true! There ah plenty of great features she's got!" Exclaimed Del.
"Like what?" Asked Prism. Its not like Star was ugly but he never saw her the attractive way.
"Her eyes."
"Her ass."
"Her spirit."
"WHOA WHOA WHOA! Who said her ass?!" Exclaimed Prism.
"I did." Hot Head looked up from his beer and gave a 'so what ?' look.
All the guys gave him equally confused looks besides Valiant Heart, who wasn't to impressed to here guys commenting on his cousin. Illusion had a expression of amusement and disgust.
"And since when have you ever seen her ass?"
"Whenever she dances. She wears these shorts... and...just dances along I guess."
The more Prism thought about it, Star appeared in a different light.
"Well.... I guess so. But I don't know. And I thought you were crushing on WHIRLWIND Hot Head."
Hot Head went slightly red.
"I don't know. She's not interested in dating because of you." Hot Head sighed but didn't glower or yell at Prism. Prism looked a bit guilty.
"Er... I'll try and talk to her." Once again it relayed to silence, not before Del started another conversation.
"Illusion how are you and Claire?"
"We're good. I'm warming up to her and doing more romantic stuff. After all I'm leaving Equestria with my mother to The Crystal Palace so she can teach me more about politics and how to rule a kingdom.... have fun with Nidra."
Del grimaced a bit and the rest of the guys chuckled.
"So.... wanna go play soccer or something?" Questioned Prism.
"Don't have to ask me twice."
"Hell yeah."
"Woo let's go."
A chorus of responses echoed and they grabbed their coats walking out the door.

Head canon that only Candy can make Starburst properly laugh, and they have a girls day every month to have fun.
Head canon that Hot Head and Starburst are actually good friends and dance together because he is the only one that can dance to hip hop properly and Prism and Whirlwind get all jealous.
Head canon that Amber was in fact fertile and even though she adopted Angel Feather, she also gave birth to a foal called Copper which is hers and Del's son.
Head canon that even before Del and Star were dating, when Star would pass out Del would always kiss her forehead after placing her on the bed.
Head canon that Star raised Striker on her own and she had a one night stand Prism. But when she found out she was pregnant she didn't ever say who the father was but everyone knew it was Prism because of the green eyes. Prism didn’t know of course until Starburst told him.
Head canon that Candy was the first person to find out because she found a pregnancy test in the bathroom and she thought it was Claires so she told everyone and then Claire was like "I'm not pregnant" and Candy goes "who is then?" and Star shakes her head and Candy goes OMG and everyones like WHAT and she goes "I'm pregnant". When Striker was born, Candy was made godmother.
Head canon that when Valiant found out that Fletcher was dating Star, he was a bit resentful towards Fletcher at first but when they got married Valiant was made Best Man and was the happiest man alive.
Head canon that Cloudy Skies went ice skating with Icy and he held her hand the entire way through, pretending that he was bad at ice skating when he could skate perfectly fine but wanted an excuse to hold Cloudy’s hand.
Head canon that Hlin and Fletcher were walking one day then a portal opened right in front of them. Out stepped Prism and Striker. They looked at each other confused and and Prism said “you don’t have a kid.” Fletcher looked at him and said “yes I do. This is my daughter Hlin. And you don’t a son, you have a daughter.” Prism looked even more confused and he was about to say something but suddenly Starburst walked past and Prism yelled “hey babe!” Starburst looked over confused and Fletchers looked furious. Striker ran to Staburst and yelled “Mom!”. “HEY THATS MY MOM!” Hlin yelled and walked over. “Wait a second...” Prism said.
Head canon that when Flash found out that Star was dating Prism/Del/Fletcher he called him down to have a “talk”. It resulted in awkward stuttering and cold hard stares from Flash. With Night Light at his side.
Head canon that once Starburst broke her leg and she couldn’t do any training and she was really upset. To make her feel better, Prism brought her to a Wonderbolts soccer game. Even though she couldn’t play, every time Prism scored he blew her a kiss and she would blush. When he scored the winning goal everyone cheered but Prism ran over to Starburst and kissed her. After the kiss Starburst said “maybe breaking my leg isn’t all bad.”
Head canon that Epic Parody created a love song for Candy, but never showed her and ended up giving it to Golden Delicious when Del and Candy got married.
GENDERBENDER head canon that when Spectra Streak was pregnant her and Comet Burst weren’t together, Spectra was really pissy towards the end of it and she would make fun of Comet. When they went to the doctors they told them the most effective way to have the baby was to have sex. Spectra was all for it, but Comet said
“NO THAT WILL OPEN A CAM OF WORMS!” Spectra Streak was pissy and angry for the rest of the week, until Comet Burst and kissed her.
“What are you doing?” She asked.
“GETTING THIS BABY OUT OF THERE.” He yelled. Right as they started making out, Spectra’s water broke.
Head canon that whenever Api and Night Light would get in a argument, it would usually end in angry sex.
Head canon that when Anthea got pregnant she was moody and angry at everyone. The only one who she could have a proper conversation with was Amber because she kept her updated on all the parties that she couldn’t go to.
Head canon that Candy was super jealous of Prism and Stars relationship and one day when they were pranking someone Candy mustered up the courage and kissed Prism. Starburst saw them and then got Hot Head. She then kissed him and Prism walked over with Candy trailing behind him looking incredibly guilty. Prism looked shocked and angry he then yanked Hot Head and demanded what happened. Star explained and they sorted it out but ever since Prism always had a but if resentment towards Candy.
Head canon that when Starfall and Starburst got together, Twilight had a talk with Starburst about sex. Conversation was awkward as hell and Twilight tried to show her a chart about it but Star flew right out of there.
Head canon that during Christmas when Star and Prism were secretly dating, Prism picked her up and threw her in the snow. Star got really angry and threw a snowball right in his face. Prism started laughing and it resulted in a giant snowball fight just between the two of them. Meanwhile inside Anthea was nodding her head going “they are so bucking”.
Head canon that when Prism/Fletcher/Starfall/Del found out Starbursts sweet spot he would suck on it whenever she got stressed.
Head canon that the 7’ children found a photo album of all their parents partying and having fun. The best picture which they showed their parents was all of the girls at a club with happy expressions. Even Star was smiling hanging onto a random guy.
Head canon that in a different universe Anthea wasn’t blind and she could see, and she never felt attracted to Turquoise. She ended up dating Prism Bolt and with Turquoise dating Starburst.

It was an ordinary day in Ponyville, and Starburst Sentry Sparkle was walking along the busy dirt road. People of all kinds walked about purchasing items from the market. Alongside her was her friend Cotton Candy.
“So Star what do you want to do?”
“Er... I don’t know Candy. Sweet Apple Acres?”
Candy face turned red.
“Ummmm, maybe not!” Candy replied nervously.
“Why? Is there someone there that you don’t or do want to see?” Star asked raising her eyebrow in a teasingly manner. She nudged her friend cheekily and turned down the road which lead to Sweet Apple Acres.
“No! It’s just... I don’t know!” Candy yelled and ran off down the dirt path. Starburst chuckled and spread her arms extracting her wings, then flew after her.
Meanwhile
“Del why do you bother to do all this work when you could be having fun with me!” A rainbow haired teen rested on a cloud above the tree, where a farmer bucked away at the apple tree.
“Well ‘pant’ ah’m ‘pant’ doing chores for my farm. It’s a team effort to keep the farm running.” Golden Delicious whipped his brow and grabbed the bandana from his neck cleaning his hands with it.
“Meh. How you could be bothered is beyond me.” He lowered the cloud and jumped off it. Thumping his fist against the tree, Prism Bolt flexed his arm.
“Look! I don’t need to work on the farm to have muscle like this.”
“No, but the energy you put into working out is a waste.” The boys turned around and saw Starburst with Candy trailing behind her.
Prism scoffed and rolled his eyes.
“Well all the girls think differently. Look at my scar! And the story’s pretty awesome.”
“Whirlwind told me differently.” Star said and rolled her eyes.
“When did you get so sassy?” Questioned Prism irritably.
“Oh my god, stop flirting and kiss already.” Exclaimed Candy.
“What!?” Starburst yelled and extracted her wings, her face burning.
“Why are you so against the idea of kissing me?” Prism walked closer to her and Star backed away.
“G-Get away Prism!”
Candy and Del were watching intently, with Candy giggling and pulling out her phone.
“Nope.” He moved in closer till Star was up against a tree and placed his hand over her head. Stars face was redder than the seasonal apples.
“I-i-if you want to play it this way. Then...”
“Then what?” Prisms voice was dark and husky. It made Starburst heaty but she didn’t let it show.
“Then this.” She got a surge of courage and grabbed his waist pulling him in.
It was Prisms turn to turn a dark red and stutter like crazy.
“F-fine. You want to play it that way?” Gaining his confidence stature once again, Prism booped her on the nose with his and just as he pulled away, Star grabbed his head and pulled him into a kiss. The mood of slight tease and joking had turned into deep passionate sexual tension. Candy gasped and smiled widely as Del just stared in shock.
“Oh my Celestia! Call the others!!!” Candy whisper screeched. Del didn’t respond, but just stood in shock. Candy rolled her eyes and stopped filming, pulling Del into the barn. Meanwhile Star was moving her hand to Prisms neck and her other hand was playing with the hem of his shirt. Prism had pressed her right up the tree, so bark was digging into her back. His hands were moving up into her shirt and their tongues played around, but Starburst won. A sudden gasp broke them out of their passionate embrace, followed by:
“OH MY GOD! ITS TRUE!”
Starburst and Prism pulled away, turning red once again. Star pushed Prism away slightly and did a quick scan of the area. When she saw no one, she pulled Prism away properly and squinted at the barn door. She heard giggling a few shh’s as she approached the barn door for closer inspection. Prism followed behind still processing just what happened. Starburst swung the barn door open aggressively.
“HEY!”
Standing together were Candy, Del, Annie, T, Claire and June.
“What were you all doing?” Star yelled furiously.
“YOU GUYS KISSED!” Exclaimed Annie. She jumped over and grabbed both of them into a hug.
“Soon you guys will be having sex and getting married and having kids!” Squealed Candy.
Prism and Starburst were momentarily frozen, but for once Prism recovered first.
“Er guys, we just kissed.”
“Well, made out.” Pointed out June.
“Who’s side are you on June!” Said Star.
June laughed and placed a hand on Stars shoulder.
“Don’t worry sugar. You and Prism ah sure cute!”
Del and T took Prism aside and regarded him curiously.
“Are you sure? Are you looking for a serious relationship? Because you know that Star won’t go for a fling, like you had with Nidra.” Del said.
“Or is considering.” Remarked Turquoise.
“Yeah I know guys. I don’t even know how Star and I happened. It’s just... she’s cool you know. She’s cute and smart and determined. Maybe I do want to have a relationship with her.”
“Wow your all grown up!” Del teased. Prism rolled his eyes and T patted him on the back.
Star walked over and took Prism outside.
“So...”
“So... listen Star about that kiss-“
“It’s fine if you don’t want to, um, do anything but it’s unfair for you kiss me, then decide that you don’t a relationship Prism! Because you know I’m not type of girl.” Starburst finished angrily.
“No Star! I was ... ya know... gonna. . .”
“Ask me out?” Star finished. Both were a delicate shade of red, but had small smiles on.
“Yeah.”
Starburst smiled widely for once, and leaned in. Prism met there halfway and they shared a gentle kiss.
“So... what finally wooed you? My muscles, my wit, my eyyessss?” Prism winked and laughed as Starburst shoved him aside.
“PRISM.”

Candy: Sorry... anyway let the meeting commence! And today ladies our guest of honour... STARBURST!
Cue Starburst walking in looking annoyed as ever
Anthea: Star...? Is that you?
Candy: 'giggles' of course silly!
Starburst: How I managed to agree to this is beyond me
Claire: So ladies how do you suppose we start this?
Candy: Well lets start with Star! Any special pony in your life? 'waggles eyebrows'
Starburst: What?! No!
Claire: Come on darling we know that there must be more to it then that!
Starburst: There's NOT. No colts, no one I take interest to.
Candy: Alright then, what about... Del?
Claire: You have been spending a lot of time together!
Starburst: We ALWAYS hang out. I work out there every morning! We're destined to bump into each other at some time. Its his farm for Celestias sake!
Candy: Are you sure your not the least interested in his golden straw coloured hair, or his great form, or the AMAZING way he bucks-
Starburst: NO. And it sounds to me like YOUR the pony who has a crush on him! 'exclaims triumphantly, hoping for a reaction'
Candy: Hmmmm. 'puts hooves to cheeks thoughtfully' not really I guess. I mean sure he's good looking, but I don't see myself as mare friend material.
Anthea: Don't worry! You could be, but since you have never tried, you wouldn't know so its always a possibility that you are marefriend material.
Claire: Alright then... how about PRISM!
Candy: He's totally good looking, but I think he has bro zoned me, and to be honest thats fine. I guess we were only meant to be friends.
Claire: Well you know Prism was 'bros' with Whirlwind before he started dating her. Who knows maybe that will happen with you.
Candy: Maybe.... but wait he teases Star all the time so what if Prism is crushing on YOU! So Starburst what do you think of Prism.
Starburst: 'gets all flustered' not much. I mean... yeah not much. And you idea is ridiculous. Prism is known for teasing. Its not just me!
Claire: You don't think that he is hot in the slightest?
Candy: Or maybe its his EYES that have made you smitten.
Starburst: First of all I do NOT think that he is hot, and his attitude puts me off AND his eyes have NOTHING to do with this.
Cue Claire and Candy raising eyes skeptically with Anthea giggling softly
Starburst : They DON'T
Candy:
Claire: Alright then... so Anthea how is your love life?
Anthea: Well... its fine I guess
Starburst: Well whats wrong?
Candy: Ooooo Star's joining girl talk!
Anthea: 'frowns slightly' Its just... well... T is being really over protective and focusing more on my well- being then doing romantic things. I don't even think he thinks of me as his marefriend, but as some old lady that he has to protect.
Claire: Awww, cdarling you know very well that Turquoise loves you, its just well these things he tends to not pay a lot of attention to
Anthea: I know that...so I decided to take a break.
Candy: YOU BROKE UP?! BUT YOUR LIKE THE MOST PERFECT COUPLE IN EQUESTRIA!
Anthea:No no, not a breakup. Just a short break from each other. I told him before I left this morning.
Claire: Well I hope that you sort that out you two are really the perfect couple.
Candy: I think toooooooo!
Anthea: So Claire how are you and the Prince?
Claire: Wellllll... things are great and everything its just he's been acting very romantic. He's taking me out more, giving me kisses and visiting a lot more at the shop. Its not like its amazing or anything but I miss the joking Illusion and the fun, less serious one darlings.
Candy: WHAT IF HES GOING TO PROPOSE!
Claire: Ngh. He knows how I feel about marriage. I'm sure thats not it. He can be very confusing. Son of Chaos you know.
Candy and Anthea nod in agreement while Star rolls her eyes sipping her tea, but looking more interested.
Candy: Back to you Star!
Starburst: Still NO STALLION! And besides we are to young for dating! Besides Claire.
Claire: Well no ponies to young to have a crush Starburst!
Starburst: Whatever.
Candy:Hmmm... we've only mentioned two stallions... I feel like we are missing some pony. Oh yes! Stars secret crush on some guard am I right?
Starburst: 'internally freaking out' What?! Who?
Candy: You know who I'm talking about! FLETCHER!
Several ponies look at the girls table and Starburst opens up her giant wings through gritted teeth
Anthea: Who is Fletcher?
Claire: Just some stallion she tends to... get out of control around "snickers"
Candy: He is handsome... so handsome that Star can't handle it, without a little... ROOM!
Candy and Claire burst out laughing, Claire loosing any lady like features
Anthea: Star had a wingboner?
Starburst: silently leaves Sugar Cube Corner angrily

Text me if I have been doing to much Starbolt...oops. I can’t do any other characters if I don’t have inspiration. I have been the writing of smut for the two of them, but it might not be very good. Tell me your opinions.
The lake
Prism Bolt and Starburst were having their very first child. So far the pregnancy had been pretty... miserable. The baby kept kicking, giving Star discomfort and making her moody. It didn’t help that she was put under bed rest and wasn’t able to go outside and exercise. Prism being outside everyday, training young flyers with Whirlwind didn’t help. Getting to go out and fly made her extremely jealous. Prism did everything in his power to make her feel better but he only succeeded every once in a while. And today he had succeeded.
Star was on her bed miserable as usual. She continued to stare out the window a depressed frown adorned on her face. A jangle of keys broke her out of trance. Footsteps pattered around the house and then came up the stairs.
“Babe? Can I come in?”
“Yeah.” Star mumbled. Prism opened the door and his green eyes dimmed as he saw his upset wife.
“Babe are you ok?” Prism walked over to the bed and sat on the edge.
“Yep. Fine.”
“Star...”
“No Prism I’m not ok. My ankles are swollen, I can’t get up, I have to stay here when you get go out and train and FLY. I’m stuck here sitting on a stupid bed staring out a window. It’s not fair Prism, it’s not fun! ” She cried the last part and grabbed the pillow, her pregnancy hormones getting the best of her.
“Star...” Prism wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead. She cried into his chest for a bit until Prism pulled her away slightly. He whipped the tears from her cheeks and kissed her lightly.
“I’m so sorry. I wish I could take your place. You know, be a seahorse.”
Starburst looked at him weirdly.
“Cause you know... seahorse males carry the baby.”
She looked at him irritably and raised her eyebrow.
“And I’d be far away in the sea.” Prism smiled as Starburst giggled a bit.
“I’m sorry Priz...” She sighed into his chest as he hugged her.
“Don’t worry babe just two more months until we have a foal. And then it will all be better.”
“And I can’t even fly! I just lie here.”
“Get into your swim suit.”
“What? Prism why? I told you I can’t exercise.”
“Yeah, but what about floating?”
“Floating?” Star turned to Prism but he was already getting up and pulling her onto his back.
“Come on!” Prism exclaimed when Starburst hesitated.
“What about my bathing suit?”
“Whatever! I’ve seen you in your bra and underwear...and less.” He winked at her and she rolled her eyes but nonetheless got onto his back.
They made their way through the palace and laughed, stumbling a bit.
“PRISM! WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING!” Star yelled as Prism almost crashed into another wall.
“ITS HARD! You keep leaning to one side while your laughing! And... well your legs are near my crotch.”
“PRISM! Come on! Worse things have touched there!”

Star glowered at Prism.
“MOVING HERE!”
Finally after curses and wall crashes they entered the gardens. A small lake lay under a willow tree and small steps descended into the lake. He slowly walked down the steps and lowered Star into the water. She sat on the last step and took off her shirt. Prism threw his shirt to the side and extracted his wings.
“Come on. Let’s float!”
Prism pushed himself into the water and held out his arms. Star extracted her wings and glided in after him. She laughed and splashed in the water.
“Oh my Celestia I’m doing it! I’m outside exercising!”
“Now don’t go swimming laps Star, that might affect the baby and be on a watch for twigs and anything dangerous.” Prism warned and drifted to the edge.
Star floated in the water, exploring the entire lake. She turned to Prism and let out a light laugh. His head was rested on the edge of the lake and slipping into the water. Faint snores drifted from his mouth and his hair was sticking up.
“And I thought I was supposed to be the easily tired one.” She giggled and swam over to him. He opened his eye and smiled.
“Hey babe.” He pulled her in his side with his wing and kissed her neck. Starburst blushed and yawned. Leaning against her husband’s side she shut her eyes and napped.
For the first time in months, she was comfortable.

Dinner
Prism was coming back from a long day of work. Training younger Pegasi (see Kianamai Pegasus study) can be a lot of work. Especially when it’s for the Spitfires and today since he had to get a legal contract that allowed his team to fly and help people. Didn’t help that he had a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter waiting at home. Prism loved his kids, but when you spend twenty-four hours a day with them while your wife is at the Royal Guard, it’s not to bad to have a break with them. Speaking of wife... Prism smiled at the thought of Star. Finally she had a break from work. First with trainees and the desk work it was a lot to handle for her with two kids.
Prism approached the house door and opened it preparing for Nova and Sriker to run right at him.
“Hey honey!” Starburst ran to him and that was way better than his kids. She ran into him and embraced him.
“Hey babe. How was work.”
“It was good... how was yours.”
“Mhmmm it was ok.”
“Only ok?”
“Well... you weren’t there and it was pretty uh boring.” She smiled.
“Well I’m too entertaining and my face is easily missed.” Prism struck a pose and Starburst rolled her eyes and pulled away walking to the kitchen.
“So where are the little monsters?”
“Ha ha, Dash and Soarin took them for the weekend.”
“What? When did we ask them that?”
“I did. I’ve been here for the past two days and the kids have been having me for a while, and now it’s your turn.” She threw him a seductive look that made him all hot and then she started to set the table.
“Thanks. Let me tell you this will be the weekend of your life.”
He stepped behind her, and moved his hands around her hips. Goosebumps appeared on her skin and Prism smiled.
“Makin ya nervous? Or horny?” Prism whispered in her ear and chuckled when he felt more goosebumps appearing, more from down, down, down. Starburst pushed him away and got the food served.
“You know instead of eating I could eat something else.”
“PRISM! No ew!”
“Babe I wasn’t thinking that! Someone’s dirty minded.”
“Whatever... what did you mean then.” Starburst was crimson red as she sat down and started to eat her meal. Prism sat opposite and loosened his tie.
“I meant eating pizza.”
“What? I slaved away to make you this delicious dinner!”
“Aw come in Star you know that I love your cooking!” Prism walked to Stars chair and wrapped her in her arms. Star grumbled and hugged him back. Prism turned her chair around and pushed his lips to hers. Star happily obliged and wrapped her arms around his neck. He pushed her legs open and sat in between them, as his hands wandered up her shirt and grabbed onto her bra vigorously.
“Prism... what about dinner?” Star pulled away quickly and smirked. “You know it’s going to go bad.”
“Let it... it’s been a while... and I’ve been needy. You leave for hours on end and when you FINALLY come back from work your all tired and we have to take care of the kids.”
Star smiled a genuine smile and kissed him back. It was gentle at first, but the it turned passionate with tongue. Prism’s hand had resumed its place on Star’s bra, tugging at the clasp. Starburst undid the buttons of his shirt and pulled it off, moving onto him and grinded on his hips. They broke apart for a second ,for a breath, then grabbed each other back. It’s was a cool clear night in Ponyville, perfect for New Years fireworks. Clusters of couples, families and friends dotted upon the grassy hill. Drifts of conversations flew by and the smell of food wafted across the hill. One noticeable group of friends were talking loudly and eating. Starburst Sparkle Sentry was sitting at the back of the group sipping lightly on a beer bottle with a small smile printed on her face. Next to her was Cotton Candy laughing hysterically holding onto Starburst.
“Candy it wasn’t even funny. I think you have had to much to drink.”
“OH NO STAR, I’VE ONLY HAD TWO BEERS, AND I AM NOT A LIGHTWEIGHT LIKE CLAIRE!” Candy giggled and stood up walking to the cooler. Star shook her head at her friend and laid down, staring up to the sky. Stars twinkled in the sky, above a cloudless black sky.
“Hey Star.” A cocky familiar voice broke her out of her trance.
“Hey Prism.” She replied. He laid down next to her.
“Why are you staring at me?”
Prism blushed and cleared his throat.
“J-just wondering why you aren’t staring at me.”
Starburst rolled her eyes
“Because the stars are more prettier than your face.”
“You think my face is pretty?” Prism asked with a huge grin on his face.
“W-What! No that’s not what I said!” It was Starbursts turn to go red.
Suddenly the loud speakers crackled on and went through a list of rules. Prism sat up on his elbows looking down at Starburst. Her face was lit up by the stars and her hair was blowing in her face. She shivered slightly as a breeze passed and pulled on her tank top, not breaking focus on the sky. She looked simple but it was enough to give him a nose bleed.
“Why are you staring at me.” Starburst inquired looking back up at him.
“Your just pretty.”
Starbursts face turned crimson and gaped at him in surprise.
“What?”
“I mean it. I’m not joking or anything. I-I think you’re pretty. I like you Star I-“
“Don’t talk.” She said
Prisms face contorted into pain and humiliation.
An explosion of color burst into the sky followed by ooo’s and ahh’s. The colors danced across Prism’s face, brightening his green eyes. It made him look handsomer and Starburst couldn’t contain herself. She moved on top of him and kissed him, looking into his eyes. Prism’s eyes widened but shut themselves as he returned the kiss wrapping his arms around her waist. The yell of “HAPPY NEW YEAR!” echoed across the hill and sparklers lighted up as children played around with them.
“Happy new year.” She whispered and they smiled.
“Why were you staring at me.”
“Way to ruin it Prism. And I WASN'T STARING!”
“You so were! Into my eeeyyyeeeess-“
“OH MY GOD.” Anthea’s voice rang out breaking them out of their romantic bubble. Starburst jumped off him and scrambled up to her feet. The whole group was staring at them. Anthea had a wide smile on her face; T and Del both matched looks of shock and Crème and Candy were giggling and jumping up.
“Are you guys together?” Candy squealed.
“...yes. Yes we are.”
Everyone’s jaws dropped in surprise, even Prism. They all guessed that she would go NO and neglect her feelings.
“Really?” Prism stood up alongside Starburst.
“Yeah really. Ya big goof.” She grabbed his hands brought him close.
“This is going to be one hell of a year.” He grinned and pulled her in for another kiss. Clapping and cheers came from their friends as Star wrapped her arms around his neck. They finally pulled away and stood in their embrace.
“So... your actually going to let me be your boyfriend.”
“Yeah why not. It’s not like I have anything better to do.”
Prism glared at her as she smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
“COME ON STAR LETS GO FIND WHIRLWIND AND RED JUNE AMD TELL THEM THE GOOD NEWS!” Candy yelled and Starburst ran over to them as they pulled her away.
“Ya think it’s gonna work?” Asked Del.
“Yeah it will. I just know it.” Prism replied smiling, watching Starburst walk away.

Rain pattered down furiously in Ponyville, umbrellas popping up all over. A purple umbrella hurried along quickly, pushing past people splashing into the puddles. Raine Bolt grinned as she jumped into the puddles, dancing about. I love the rain. she thought happily as she raised her head letting raindrops splash onto her face. It was a bit of an ironic thing to say considering her name but nevertheless it made her smile. She crossed the road, closing her umbrella as she stopped outside of a red door on a large house. The distant sound of music stopped abruptly as the beat of footsteps neared the door.
“Hey!” Rici opened the door smiling shyly as Raine stepped in, whipping her boots on the plastic rug.
“Nice music you have playing there.” Raine said as she hung her coat on the rack. “Hello? Mrs Sentry?”
“Where are your parents?”
“Mom went out to Canterlot for the weekend to visit my Grandmother and my dad tagged along. He wanted to “spend time with his amazing wife”. Rici made a face and Raine laughed making her face turn bright red.
“Code for “sex”.”
The girls made their way to the kitchen and Rici poured them some hot chocolate.
“Cold outside?” Rici asked noticing Raines blue lips. Her face turned a light shade if red again. Stop staring at her lips!
“Yeah a bit. Doesn’t affect me though! You know I love the rain.” She followed Rici upstairs into her room. As Raine sat on her desk chair, she noticed Rici’s bra hanging over her laundry basket. As Rici sang, Raine listened intently watching her slim fingers ,rough with callouses, dance over the guitar strings. Her face was an open book of emotions, even though she was wearing a soft smile that showed happiness. Her eyes sparkled (as they usually did when she played music) and shut themselves opening them just check she was playing the right chord. As she was finishing, Raine moved closer to her and rested her head on Rici’s small shoulders.
“Thanks for that. And I mean everything.” She whispered.
“Your welcome. You were worth the wait.”
Rici turned around and gently kissed her new girlfriend.
“Can we go and tell the rest of our friends.”
Raine smiled wide. Rici wasn’t much of a social person and for her to want to go out and announce it was a way of telling Raine, that Rici trusted her.
“Let’s do it.” The girls ran downstairs and put their coats and shoes on. Raine grabbed her umbrella and Rici ducked under it, linking hands with her girlfriend, as they stepped outside.
This time Rici was smiling in the rain.

Golden Delicious always knew that he liked Starburst. And not just in the friend way. He means the in the way where she could make him smile in the blink of a second and stutter and turn bright red by laughing her beautiful laugh. She laughed rarely and when she did it was... indescribable. It came from her soul, and it was loud and joyful. She would snort lightly if she laughed really hard, and it would cheer up everyone in the room bringing a sense of belonging. His face would light up just to see the slightest smile on her face and it made every part of his body tingle with delight.
She was cute too. Del would never admit or say this out loud, but whenever Star would pass out on the farm he would take the opportunity to look at her. He didn’t mean it in the creepy way, but he would just look at her features as he carried her to his room. Her small button nose and beautiful amethyst eyes. He could stare into them all day. She was beautiful in her own amazing way. Del, Prism Bolt and Turquoise Blitz has overheard some of their girl talks before. Listening to them was scarring (thanks to Annie’s wildly graphic descriptions) as well as interesting. They would often talk about their sex appeal and Star would comment about her lack of it. The girls would protest even though Starburst would smile and shake it off saying “guys it’s not the end of the world. I’m not looking for a boyfriend anyways.”.
Even though Starburst thought she had no sex appeal, Del thought differently. Her figure was muscular yet toned due to all of her training. Her breasts weren’t large like Annie and Cotton’s but were firm were and a modest B-cup. Her legs were tanned, but short as she would spend a lot of her time outside flying with Prism or even on occasion Whirlwind. Del didn’t mind at all that she would usually wear a normal sports bra and shorts with her hair tied up. No effort was put into her outfit and Del admired that she could care less. Starburst was beautiful in her own way and no other girl could compare.
Even though they were just friends, Del couldn’t help but hope that they would get together one day.
It was a sunny day on Sweet Apple Acres and all was calm and still.
Suddenly a loud shriek pierced the quiet atmosphere.
“AHH DEL STOP! ITS GETTING IN MY HAIR!” A giggle came after and some playful laughter followed. Starburst Sparkle Sentry held up the red paint brush as a defense from Golden Delicious who had another paint brush in his hand. Starburst was leaning back into a battle stance, ready to leap forward and attack. Del was standing normally but what made him more of a threat than a battle ready girl was a paint bucket full of red paint, red as the apple’s that the farm produced.
They were repainting the farm door ,as it was old and a rusty color, when Del had suddenly flung the paint on the edge of his paintbrush onto Star’s old clothes. It had soon escalated into a full paint battle which ended them up covered in paint, only their face and hair spared.
“Aw com’on Star! Loosen up a bit! Y’all know that you don’t have enough fun!” Del replied.
Starburst made a show of rolling her eyes, simply a distraction then lunged forwards jumping onto Del’ chest and trying to paint his face. Del reacted quickly and grabbed both of her wrists moving then away from his face. He collapsed on the ground and was moved onto his back as Star leaned forward and continued her mission to cover Del’ face in red. Laughs and giggled echoed across the farm but was brought to an abrupt halt, when Star had leaned far to forward and tumbled onto Del’s chest simply inches away from his lips. A dull red spread onto Del and Starbursts face and Del spoke.
“Er... Star? Don kill me.” And with that he gently brought down Star’s face against his. She barely had time to react as Dels lips pressed against hers and then Star became aware that Golden’s delicious was kissing her.
His hand came up behind her head and cupped her neck, as he leaned forward making Starburst shimmy backwards. She pressed her hands against his shoulders, awkward at first, but then ran them down his chest making Del shiver with delight. Her hands continued their journey south, near his abdomen and brought them behind his back. Del lightly but on her lip and pried her mouth open. It would have continued if it wasn’t for a loud gasp that brought them back to reality. Starburst stood up quicker than Del had ever seen her move and placed her hands on her hips.
“API!”
Stood behind an apple tree was the littlest Apple. She looked at them with joy and fear. Joy for the prospect of her ship coming together and fear for how Starburst and Del would react to the little interruption.
“Uh... h-hey y’all.” She stuttered nervously.
“What in Celestias name were you doing there! Ah thought you were study’in with June.”
“Well ah wus, but then ah got bored, so I came down here after hear’in all that laughing y’all were doing.” She said slyly looking at them, grinning widely. Starburst turned a bright red and dusted her hands.
“We weren’t doing anything.”
“Not doing anythang? I saw you two right there!” She grinned evilly and Del pushed his youngest cousin back into the trees.
“Api, go back to June. She’ll be frettin and getting testy.” His tone was polite but there was secret warning written underneath.
“Aw But Del-“
“Now .”
Api frowned but waggled her eyebrows suggestively at Starburst. Once again she was pushed into the trees leaving her humiliated cousin and a flustered princess to sort out their feelings.

Whatever happened to our love
Muffled sobs echoed across the vast castle. Meanwhile Princess Twilight Sparkle, her husband Flash Sentry and their 13 year old son Night Light sat at the kitchen table, deep in thought. Cold hard stares fixated themselves on the kitchen counter, silence surrounding the small group. No one had known what to say to the 17 year old girl, who had shut herself up in her room for the past two days, only coming down to eat, then marching back upstairs. Everyday had an emotional period. Day one was the day where she locked herself up and nothing was heard of her, no crying, no shouting and no phone calls. Her friends had been coming round all day, walking up to her room and then coming back downstairs shaking their heads in frustration and disappointment. Day two had been a series of workout, inside and out. Stretches in her room with grunts and counting, followed by sprinting and flying around the castle. Golden Delicious had come by and dropped off a few watermelon cakes gazing sympathetically upstairs before heading out.
Finally day three had rolled round and then the hurt and anger had all poured out. First, slams of boxes had contents dumped into it, then the stretch of tape sealed it shut. After a few hours sniffles had turned into cry’s, finally escalating into sobs. Her family had tried to talk to her but had been politely ignored and had stayed out of her way. It hurt Twilight and Flash to see her in this state... and they didn’t even know why. They had presumed that it had been something that affected her training, but then as she began to consume ice cream they had suspected it had been something else. Although her friends hadn’t told them what it was about, they were fairly sure that it has been a breakup of some sort, Starburst had never fully explained her... romance rendezvous. Apparently not even her closest friends knew who it was. Only one boy knew and he was in an equally depressed mood.
Prism Bolt was sitting out front of the Sparkle Sentry house. His brow was furrowed in concentration, his heart thumping fast against his chest. Breath Prism...breathe . He was was waiting outside, wrapped in a coat, thinking about how to approach Starburst. If he ever had the nerve to go into and face her. Coward , he thought. It’s your own fault that you kissed that girl. And didn’t tell Starburst. And then she found out by her friends. Because you were to much of a coward to tell her yourself . He thought miserably.
He had been spending the last hour and a half outside on her doorstep, waiting for him to pluck up the courage and knock. Like it would ever happen. Not unless Starburst wouldn’t throw him out of the house without a word. He didn’t even know how she would react and Candy and Annie hadn’t been that useful because Star wouldn’t talk to anyone. I miss her... my beautiful shining star he thought wistfully. He frowned in sadness at a sudden memory.
It had been their third date and things has been going great. So far. This time, Prism had been broke and hadn’t afford a restaurant. He didn’t want to disappoint Starburst so soon, so he had decided to make a few sandwiches and drive her to a quiet field, where they could go stargazing. At first Starburst could have been more impressed, but as the stars came out her commentary stopped and she looked up in awe. Prism had looked over after five minutes of surprising silence and smiled widely. Her head was propped up, arms behind her head, gazing at the sky. Star’s amethyst eyes sparkled and reflected the sky’s beauty, outlining her features. Her lips curled up into a smile and turned to him smiling widely.
“Ya know, for a cheap date this is pretty...amazing.”
“Anything for you my shining star.” He teased kissing her forehead. She gave him a glance that said “don’t call me that” and turned back to the stars. Prism scooted closer to her and wrapped his arm around her. Starburst moved in closer and let him hold her and kissed the top of his head. She continued to watch the sky, and eventually fell asleep gathered in Prism’s arms feeling giddy with happiness and comfort.
Prism relished the memory and and smiled sadly. That was one of their best dates and the first time Prism realized that it was going to work out, and that they could have a future together. He still thought that now and he hated himself for thinking it. He didn’t deserve thinking after what he did to Starburst. The memory was still like salt to a wound even though he wasn’t the one hurt. He rubbed his forehead deep in thought. Should I go in... no....should I...?
Prism had been going out with Candy, Del, Annie, T and Créme. Créme had a friend that owned a bar in Canterlot and she suggested it to the group, inviting them over. Claire wasn’t sure about the alcohol and Red June didn’t want to go. So Claire and Red June decided to have time in the Crystal Palace with Illusion and Valiant Heart. Starburst was going with her mother to Yakyakistan to sign a peace treaty and couldn’t come.
Meanwhile everyone had taken the train to Canterlot and met Créme there, all of them in party clothes. Prism had texted Starburst quickly.
-“See ya later babe, at the train station and about to go into the bar.”
-“Bye Priz, have fun. Ugh wish me luck with the Yaks”
Prism smiled tucked his phone into his back pocket walking into the bar.
That was when it all went wrong. He had started drinking and talking to other women, engaging in flirtatious teasing but nothing happened. Until she walked it, he thought half malice and half hatred for himself. She had long black hair and light blue eyes, surrounded with eyeliner that didn’t make her seem gothic, but more like a goddess. She wore a long black dress with a slit on the left side of her dress and black heels that made her Prism’s height. She... was gorgeous. But even though Prism was drunk, a part of him was nagging him that Starburst was way prettier than her but even as he was gazing at the girl in confusion he couldn’t help but... have a strong attraction to her. It’s not like it was horrible for couples to have attractions, hell it wasn’t God forbidden, even Starburst has a one on Fletcher. But it still made him feel guilty no matter what he thought.
Meanwhile as he was staring off into space, the girl was sauntering to him wiggling her hips staring directly into his green eyes intimidating him. He shrank back a bit and ordered another drink turning to face the bar.
“Hello there sexy.” Her voice was effortlessly gorgeous. It was smooth and low in a sultry way and as she leaned over him he shivered with delight,
“Er... hi.” Prism stumbled over his words and flushed slightly with embarrassment.
“I thought you, the hottest in the bar, would be a bit more with the words.” She said placing her hand over his.
“Well I am, just not tonight I guess.” He slurred his words a bit. “I’ve got a girlfriend.” He stated blankly.
“Well... that’s not stopping me from doing this...” Her hand glided over his palm and rested her index finger lightly on the surface of his hand. She moved it around gently and leaned in closer, breathing lightly onto Prism’s face. He leaned away from her scrunching his face up in confusion.
“Er... lady.” He turned around slightly and she chose her moment to attack. Her lips pressed against his and sucked on his bottom lip. He returned the kiss closing his eyelids halfway. He wasn’t even fully alert; half awake and half asleep. He made a noise of bewilderment and pushed away slightly.
“What?” She asked annoyed, yet confused.
Prism looked at her confused and turned around to see if anyone was watching. His eyes slid around the crowd concerned and no one was watching so far. Thankfully. Then he faced the stage, and staring back at him, horrified, were Candy and Créme with Annie looking worried.
Prism’s eyes widened and he pushed away from the girl as she yelled ‘Hey!’. He speedily walked over to where they were, staggering slightly, but when he got there the girls were no where in sight and T and Del were grabbing him and dragging him outside. That was the last thing he remembered before he passed out.
After that he had gotten yelled at by the guys and disapproving expressions from the girls. He had begged them not to tell her and back they had reluctantly agreed. Although Annie has gone and told Amber, and then Amber told Claire. Prism had spent the entire day searching the trail so Starburst wouldn’t find out. It all came to a pointless search, when he finished off with Crystal Clarity saying she had told her. She had apologized over and over between lectures. Starburst didn’t deserve that Prism and how could you! I feel bad and all but this is no ones fault but your owns. She was going to find out anyways.
It all ended when Prism called Starburst for the hundredth time.
“...hello. Starburst? Staburst please hear me out-“
‘No.” Her voice was low, but not raspy. It contained hidden fury and emotions only Prism could feel. “You don’t talk to me. You don’t get to say anything .”
“Star. Please.” His voice had broke and he was on then verge of crying.
Starburst had made a small hiccup noise, before hanging up. That was the last time he had heard from, and any of the others has heard from her.
Here he was sitting on her house doorsteps, rethinking his stupid decision and how much of an ass he was. I need to do this. I owe it to her. , he thought, and with that he stood up abruptly and knocked on the house door.
A loud knock echoed through the large castle and it alerted the royal family.
“I’ll get it!” Night Light shouted, running from the kitchen. He opened the door widely and broke out a grin. Unfortunately what he was met with was the exact opposite. Prism Bolt was standing outside in the cold with a red nose and purple lips. His hair was mused and his expression; miserable.
“Hello there Prism Bolt. What can I help you with.”
“Um... is your... sister here?” He said. His voice was laced with excitement but something else, which Nighty couldn’t place.
“Yeah she’s here but... we’ll she hasn’t been talking to anyone so you can try your luck but she probably won’t come to the door. Why don’t you come in?”
“Um, I’d rather not. I’m fine here it’s just. Your sister. Please.” He pleaded, green eyes wide and light bags underneath them.
Night Light shrugged. No one had really tried to talk to her besides her friends. Maybe she would listen to her brother. He left the door open and clambered up the stairs toward some his sister’s room.
“Star?” Nighty asked hesitantly after knocking the door.
“What.” A flat, monotone voice came from the other side.
“Someone’s here to see you.”
“Who.”
“Prism Bolt.” Night Light responded nervously.
“What! How DARE he come here.” She yelled. “That’s it.”
Starburst swung the door open, accidentally pushing Nighty to the side. She stormed down the stairs and ran to the front door, biting her lip hoping that it would take the pain of her broken heart away. As she turned the corner of the stairway, her heart skipped a beat. Her ex was standing outside in the cold, with slightly red eyes and a puffer jacket. He saw her and his mouth widened into an oh shape.
“What do you want Prism.” Her voice wobbled a bit.
“Star please hear me out. I’m begging you.”
“You lost that privilege when you cheated Prism.” She spat the words as if it was to bitter.
“Um...I’m going...to uh... leave.” Nighty promptly left the hallway and entered the kitchen swinging the door shut behind him. Neither of them watched him go.
“Star It was an accident she meant nothing!”
“Well clearly she meant SOMETHING to jeopardize our RELATIONSHIP!” She yelled and barely contained herself from beating him up.
“Star. I know I made a mistake and- and it was an idiot dumbass stupid mistake, but I still love you, Star please .” His voice cracked and a waterfall of emotions spilt. Starburst couldn’t stand to watch and faced away, leaning on the door frame, eyes shut,hoping that it would stop her from bawling.
“Just...give me one more chance.” He leaned towards her, close enough to smell her coconut shampoo. Starburst turned around and they gently kissed. His hand crept up to cradle her cheek but it got slapped away, as she moved back.
“No. No Prism you can’t just kiss me after what you did.” After a moment of silence she spoke again.”I think you should go.”
“What? No please can we talk Starburst.” She turned to him and started crying.
“Don’t leave me like this. I-I'm going to mi-miss these hands.” He grabbed them and rubbed them gently. “An-and these eyes. And these lips.” They were both crying tears of pain, misery and heartbreak.
“N-no. Please.” Starburst cried. Prism walked away in tears as Starburst closed the door. She then sank against it and cried harder into her hands.
“Oh baby.” Her mother came over to her daughter and wrapped her in her arms. Starburst sat where she was as her brother and father came over whispering soothing words.
“We’re so sorry.” Twilight crooned. Starburst’s wet tears fell, as she drifted off into the warm and loving arms of her family.

Claire’s little chat
The bell to Heathfires Jewelry ringed once more as the door closed on Prism Bolt. Claire immediately turned to Starburst and grinned evilly.
“So Starburst... your first date.” Her grin widened as Star turned red and spread her giant wings.
“No it’s not!” She yelled. Claire raised her eyebrow and Star begrudging nodded.
“Anyways, what are you going to wear? I could help. Mother has multiple gowns that you could borrow, and I can make you a necklace! Now what do you think of the colour-“
“Claire no! Its not a date just bros hanging out! Nothing special. And anyways it’s not like he would date me anyways.” She sighed at the last part, but Claire noticed and came around from the counter.
“Darling you will find someone, but for now be young! Do whatever it want and try not to focus so much on the Royal Guard.” She gave Starburst a quick hug and smiled.
“Thanks Claire. But it’s NOT a date and I am NOT dressing up.” Claire made to protest but Star put one finger up and said a firm ‘no’. Claire gave an exasperated sigh but moved back behind the counter.
“So there must be A guy.”
“Claire there really isn’t! I’m single, without a crush.”
“Come on! You must have a crush. What about those “green eyyeess” that Prism has charmed you with.” Claire smirked again, knowing she had hit something as Starburst cringed and blushed.
“Well he’s handsome, I’ll give him that but his attitude puts me off.”
“Mhmm I get it.”
“I believe he will change though.” Starburst smiled faintly and Claire smiled too.
“Well... give him time.” Star admitted and they both broke into laughter.
